Review Eatasia Food - Amritsar

Kanav Bhatia
I heard alot about this place from my friends so thought of trying it today. We're three people and we ordered their special four feet long eatasia special dosa, pav bhaji, coke and vada pav. Seems alot ? Yet the bill wasn't at all too much. We just paid 600 for all. Talking about their dosas. They are really perfectly made and are light. Served with many chutneys and mashed potatoes the dosa is really worth drooling. However the cheese sprinkled on the top spoils the taste. Disappointed for that. The pav bhaji was buttery and pavs were enough for two people. Vada pav was served hot and spicy. Their chutneys are thick and clean. But I found their icecreams to be really expensive. The place is neat and tidy. The staff is really polite. You can easily spend good time here. If ever craving for south indian food, this place comes to your rescue :)

Pocket friendly restaurant, situated in the main market of Ranjit Avenue. Must try if you love South India food, the Filter Coffee takes you back to South India vibe

One of the biggest Dosa I have ever seen at Eat Asia Food. It was almost the size of the table and I bet no one can finish that solo in one go. A little improvement is needed in terms of taste to the East Asia special Dosa. Else, everything is good.

Its located in the main c block market in Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar. Budget friendly restaurant with decent variety on menu. Tasty food and prompt service. Not so big in size but nice ambience.

EatAsia is the best South Indian restaurant in Amritsar. I have tasted their masla dosa, idli, Vada, rava masala dosa and filter coffee. The dishes are prepared in South Indian style which closely resembles the taste of the dishes from their native land. Overall best restaurant in Amritsar if you want to try out authentic south Indian dishes. I would suggest them to start serving south Indian meals also.
Jyoti Arora
Decent place to visit with family and some gossips.... not very fancy but a variety of food available from appetizers to main course, noodles to pasta and a variety of South Indian food. Nothing special to be mentioned filter coffee was above average, not gonna miss anything if you decide to skip the place. You have much, much better places in Amritsar to explore so go for the best ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘Œ

I ordered vada pav for the second time. It was pathetic. Poor quality of food. No doubt when I ordered first time it wasn't that bad. Not gonna order now. Cheap food quality

Tried dosa's at many place in Amritsar but till now found it to be best. Tried schezwan masala dosa, served with three chutneys and hot and fresh sambar with butter. It was crispy and tasty enough. Hope to try other cuisines of this place. Nice ambience and polite staff. The only thing was it became a bit gooey but that's normal when it is packed and delivered, so will visit and eat crispy hot dosa. It was delivered 15 minutes earlier too.

Ordered paneer tikka masala through Zomato food was good but packing was not upto mark as oil was leaking
Varun Rampal
My favourite spot in town for south indian. They serve a massive big dosa, it's good if you are 3-4 people and finish it soon, as it gets cold soon.
Abhinav Mahajan
It used to be a really good restaurant.
But now, this place sucks. In the name of Mysore filter coffee (70rs) , they just serve terribly made nescafe coffee(2 rs) in the filter coffee cutlery. Service is poor. There was no manager to talk to. The girl at the counter is mannerless and unprofessional.
Neither she gave me manager's contact nor did she pay any heed to my complaint.
As customers, we deserve much more.
This overprice place should be avoided when we have much better options in the city.
Would give zero stars if I could.

Food 1.5 *
Ambience 3.5 *
Service 0 *

One of the very few outlets in amritsar which provide authentic south indian delicacies , quality of food is excellent and there dosa's are extremely delicious, pav bhaji
KitchenStories
Happen to visit this place yesterday for dinner. I placed the order for rava masala dosa, idli, cheese dice shashlik paneer. Firstly the service was quite slow and the food was not that good. The dosa did not had appropriate spices. Couldn't relate as to what was high. The paneer was so hard, not fresh at all.
Overall my experience wasn't good at all.
Ajinkya Sawant
An vary good food.. Really enjoyed... South Indian food was awesome.
The food quality and taste was really nice, sambhar and Dosa was awesome and good

For vegetarians this place is delight . Plain n masala dosa are my favourite although did not really like schezwan dosa. Overall a good place to have South Indian in Amritsar as there are very few places in the city that could serve decent tasting South Indian delicacies ๐Ÿ‘

Trust me, this place is amazingly delicious. I ordered its idli and fried rice and yes both the dishes were amazing. It has been lot of time since i had a south indian dish. I strongly recommend eatasia to everyone out there.

The perfect place to have South Indian food I tasted the mysore special dosa which was so big that 2-3 person can have this to fill there tummy. They served around 8-9 different side dishes with this coconut chutney, paneer, green chutney, sambhar, sheera ,pineapple raita , potato filling . It was crisp not that soft overall it was good .
Gurmerapita
Wow. Finally found a good place which serves good quality and taste of South Indian food. However in last order for medu vada and idli for 8 people, I was bit disappointed in sambar and quantity of chatni. Well that's because they have set the bar high in previous 3 orders..
I actually went there to eat and I loved it....
Shaveta Makhija
This place is very disgusting I hate this place ggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh+hhhhhhhgggggghvghhhhbvvvvvvvvvv chi and I have really enjoyed it and I have a lot of people who are interested in the uu and I have a few questions about the project that you have to do with the

Great food...so much variety ordered 4-5 times still plenty items pending ...great food great tastes ....loved vada paav too much nd so much options in rice muahh
Teena
Nothing so great about the food. Went there reading the reviews, but there's nothing extraordinary about the place /food. The pav bhaji was bad. Asked them to roast the pav on the tawa instead of grilling it. Returned the pav twice, but they still din do it. Crispy corn tasted good, but was not crispy enough. The Paneer tikka was nice though. Well, paneer anywhere in Punjab is good :) The Corn cheese balls were filled with paneer instead of cheese. Restaurant is a little over priced as well.

EatAsia food is the best combination of taste and quality.....so many different cuisines that there's never a need felt to refer to any other food outlet...a must dine place๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘..May it be dosa, vada pav,pav bhaji or punjabi cuisine...everything just awesome.
Rakesh Middha
Yummy food. With good quantity and quality .. dosa wada and idli all are very tasty.. sambhar and 3 types of chutney. It's always good to order

Amezing food. And very polite riders is working with Zomato.... and chefs in eatasia food shop.... Special thanks to Mr. Gursewak (rider) he is very polite and respectful person....

But small suggestion is need to do care about packing the foods and foods continents.....paratha with yought ya pickel should be served, not mint chatni or viniger onion....

Rest all is fabulous..... gursewak is fantastic .....

Thanks ....

Just amazing family special dosa with so many chutneys...! Everyone must try it for sure ...
We had platter also
It was also amazing ..very reasonable

I have visited this place many times and I would recommend this place to everyone who loves South Indian cuisines.Masala dosa is just mouth watering. Pav Bhaji is really tasty and ignoring Tong Tong from the list of best chinese cuisines would bring hell upon me. "First Impression is the last impression" is what EatAsia's staff believes in. The taste and the presentation of the dish is kept in mind and the every bite of food will take you to a whole new world. But coming onto the con side, I found the taste and texture of Idli a bit inferior to the other restaurants. But they had improved it's taste alot when I next visited the restaurant. But overall it was delicious when it was paired up with Sambar and chutney.
Vatsa Aggarwal
Very very bad experience today at this food place. Ordered one veg schezwan fried rice & it never had the taste of schezwan in it. I called the waiter but he was of the opinion that yahan toh aisa Hi milta hai schezwan ..... very very bad experience

I guess the best eating joint in amritsar. I hv had from over 100 shops in amritsar, but the taste here especially of street bombay foods and south indian foods is awsome

Ate EatAsia Special dosa and Crunchy Vada Pav. Dosa was a little cold. Although Vada Pav was tasty, but Dosa wasn't worth the price and 5 star rating.

Ever since I have returned from Mumbai,I was searching for Vada pav in Amritsar. I finally searched it on Zomato and EAT ASIA was there.
Vada pav was amazing.
Pav bhaji was good too but bhaji was bit missing on taste. Else everything was good.

Quantity was fine.
Packaging was good too.

Thanks!!

I ordered butter masala dosa n pan fried noodles... When I received the order there was no sambar n sauces with dosa.. When I called on eat Asia they said sambar n sauces mistakenly left here only... It was worst experience to eat dosa without sambar n sauces...๐Ÿ˜ž๐Ÿ˜•

Packing was good but as a south Indian i felt it was not up to the mark. Use peanuts in lemon rice, change the rice you are using and please enhance the flavour of lemon adding more juice. In Curd rice rice seemed to be smashed, better you take care that it won't get smashed while mixing it with curd.

We had the worst experience here. I love South Indian food and trust me I had the worst dosa here. There service is pathetic and the same goes for the taste. We ordered 2 dosas and 1 uttapam, they served us the dosa after 1hour and that too cold. I regret visiting this place. Don't visit this place until unless you don't have a choice.

EatAsia Food as quirky as the name sounds is possibly one of the simplest joints I've come across in Amritsar. This is a small eatery located in the C-Block Market. They serve a variety of dishes in the North-Indian cuisine & South Indian cuisine etc.. We opted to try the South Indian dishes. We tried some of their dosas, the one I liked was their :
# EatAsia Special Dosa - This is a huge dosa served with a variety of accompaniments like chutneys, sambar etc.. The dosa itself is a task to finish. I really loved the accompaniments. However, the only slight criticism would be that the dosa itself was a little plain but nonetheless it was pretty good.

Overall, I have to say I had a pretty satisfactory experience. The place is very simple, which is a good thing. Probably not the best South Indian food I've had, but it wasn't bad. The food is decent and the prices are very cheap and reasonable.
Went out with family. Decent ambience. Staff more or less attentive!
Food : we ordered Pav bhaji, uttapam platter and Mysore masala Dosa.all of it tasted good! The closest you can get to south Indian food in Amritsar. They managed to get the perfect balance of how people like south Indian food in the north! Spicy and quantity! Pricing is done beautifully. Had dinner for 3 at 600 bucks! All in all, recommended place to eat in Amritsar!
Vivek Bhajipale
The worst experience for us. Service is pathetic. Staff doesnt know what we ordered and what they delivered. Haka noodles served as schezwan noodles. In rawa onion dosa, couldn't find onion. Manager misbehaves. Order came after 1 hour..Unless n until u have no option..dont go there
Harkirat
EatAsia is one place you can run to when you crave some South Indian food and snacks at cheap prices.
The ambience is decent and the staff is friendly

Tried their Pav Bhaaji but I was a little let down by the โ€œsweetโ€ buns they provided. Bhaaji was as good and authentic as the ones Iโ€™ve had in Mumbai

Also tried their Special Dosa -
The quantity is fine for two hungry individuals
They serve it with a variety of chutneys along with mashed potato masala, topped with a good amount of grated cheese which makes it pretty tasty
However I didnโ€™t like most of the chutneys and the little dessert they serve along in the platter
Would love to try more of the options in the menu soon!

amazing south Indian restaurant in Amritsar. most popular place for south Indian and Chinese food. dosa , chilli garlic noodles, veg tong tong, Manchurian everything was great. service staff and menu all is good ...๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿค˜ a must visit place in town....

This is my first time at this place. Heard a lot about their big Eat Asia Dosa. Big Dosa but really less in taste. Had high hopes but failed to meet the expectations. The plate was full with sambhar, coconut chutney, tomato chutney, aloo masala, paneer sabzi and halwa. Unfortunately none of the items could fulfiled my taste buds. Quite disappointed.

One stop place for the lovers of dosa's or South India cusines
Tried this place now many a time and the best thing is it never got disappointed

Taste - Dosa here is a stand out and I mean it for mostly all on the menu ... Tried there rava Dosa it was crisp , as well as the schezwan Dosa is a must try ... But the dish I loved most was there uttpam platter which served ten different uttpam variety in one ... N last but not least do try there vada pav and pav bhaji as well ... Soft pav make them really special

Location - location in Ranjit avenue .. easy to find next to Bukhara

Ambince - Simple yet clean elegent and comfortable

Staff - Courtgeous know about thier menu well
Menu- Have quite a variety in main course as well as in drinks plus very affordable great for students as well as family outings

South Indian lover now have a great place to visit

Very neat n clean... though nothing much to look for in the ambience. Just a regular eating joint. Rava dosa was good and the eat Asia special is huge. Tastes good crispy n sambhar has the authentic taste. Mumbai platter was also a deal for the price. In a nut shell good place.. value for money. Only would suggest a little bit of mannerism from the staff. Not very courteous specially the elderly gentleman who seems the head waiter. He was like more dictating thn taking orders. Customers deserve some respect.
Saurabh Mathur
Awesome ambience and authentic south indian dosa we had. Kudos to the cheff. Mysore Masala Dosa is as good as any good restaurant in South India.
Sukhmani Sakhi
A vegetarian speciality restaurant in the neighbourhood, with a simple yet well done menu.
Much popular for South Indian food, the restaurant is pretty basic, with a small sitting, clean and proper and quick service.
May I add, the rates are stupendously low, like very very low which is great if youโ€™re on a budget on eating out with friends, great for students of course.
The dosas are absolutely delightful. Crispy and buttery, yet light on the palate with chunky chutneys and sweet sour sambar. Flavours on point.
Tried the Shanghai Idli today, didnโ€™t like it at all, can definitely be bettered, it was mad spicy and gluggy. Maybe one off dish.
However I will absolutely be returning for dosas, best ones in town.

Hungry Munda
I tried this eat asia special dosa
It is enough for two people
With a combo of various "chatnis" nd paraphernalia it is a delight to look at ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
Taste is good and different.
Best-
The mysore cheese masala dosa is rich and so yum
Chinese food is good too
Service is good but can be improved
