Stooped here after seeing the reviews and the food did not disappoint. The pizza was delicious! So much ham! We loved the salad and pasta as well. The location is beautiful. If i could change one thing, it's for the music to not be so loud. At least near the two tables right near the entrance. We could barely hear ourselves speak. I wish restaurants didn't do that.
This a relatively new place... The best part about this place is when most of the fine restaurants in and around Anjuna close at 10.30 or so, this place is open till midnight! We you see a wood fired Owen, a pizza order us a must. The pizza was superb. The chicken dish that we ordered was a little dry for our liking and a bit bland...however the overall experience was good so we did not mind. The place is made up very nicely and looks warm and welcoming. Our host was very polite and helpful. He even brought us complimentary kahlua shots and a home chocolate for our daughter. All in all a good experience... And got to know that this place belongs to a certain celebrity!
Oltremarino, an authentic Italian restaurant, is housed in a quaint bungalow full of Old style of decor in North Goa. Typically reservations are required but since we went at lunchtime and on a weekday in a comparatively low season it was easy to find a table. They served a very good mojito but did not ask anything about a good Italian wine... They serve fried bread with the drinks which is awesome and it is on the house. The wood fired pizza is among the best that we have eaten so far and can stand up to any great Italian restaurant in Italy. The ravioli for silky and could easily be cut with a fork. The overall food experience and Ambience was really nice. The Gelato and Tiramisu compliment a perfectly good meal.
I would heartily recommend at least one visit to this Italian restaurant just for a change from the fish curries and the prawn curries while in Goa.
Authentic Italian food in a quaint Portuguese bungalow setting. Great set of drinks starters, pasta and pizza. We tried only the veg options, sure the non veg options are more and possibly authentic. The hostess is very warm and cordial, you are taken care of very well...
After a relaxing trip to Anjuna beach, this is something you can’t miss. A serene ambience, authentic Italian food and yes the best pinacolada i have ever had. Would also recommend the wood fired oven pizza.
What an unexpected Italian gem in India! Deliciously fresh ingredients, beautiful courtyard setting and lovely staff. Absolutely worth the short bike ride from the beachfront. We ate the mixed crostini platter, two pizzas and were treated to a complimentary dessert shot. The owners are an Italian couple, so authenticity is an easy win.
Absolutely amazing pizza! I had the Ortolana Pizza and it was the best! Their bruschetta was also really nice. If you're here, definitely try the pizza first. The atmosphere is nice, recommend not going if the day is too hot or sunny.
Probably the best italian restaurant in goa. Price is completely justified for the quality and authenticity being provided at the restaurant. The ambience is perfect and the staff is polite and well trained. The food is just delicious. Must visit if you are in goa for a trip.
I loved this quaint Italian restaurant, very semi formal, great food. It can border for the well heeled considering its situated in the busy Anjuna thorough fare, and an expensive property belonging to some Bollywood star. The restaurant is independently run by Marco and his wife.
To start with place looks very beautiful. Perfect for a date or even family dinners. Variety of itallian food. I tried pizza and mushroom ravioli. Pizza was much better than mushroom ravioli. Even the tiramisu is good. They were kind enough to provide mosquitoe repellent spray as it a garden setup. In house bailey is quite good.
Authentic Italian restaurant in Goa, nestled near Anjuna. Finely maintained interiors with art work. Great ambience. Come here to spend quality time with your partner. Must try their white sauce pasta n wood fired pizzaa....😀🙂
Authentic Italian food is served here with Mexican music in background. Nice ambience in open air.
Moved from their Vagator location to an old Portuguese bungalow in Anjuna. Went for a music evening with friends and the restaurant is really picturesque... drinks are reasonably priced and pizzas are really good. Can’t say the same about the risotto and pasta though... staff is friendly but service is a bit lax at times... Ok for an evening if you want to sit outdoors and enjoy the cool music and vibe

Real italian food! I’m italian, I knownit! It’s the first real italian restaurant we found in India, the food was delicious and the staff so nice. We had amazing bruschette and tagliatelle al ragù and pizza, everything was good, tagliatelle is homemade and really like the ones you can eat at home in Italy. Prices very very good. Definitely worth a visit or more, the location also is stunning, an ancient villa with magical inside and lovely garden. The two italian owners are special people, go visit, eat some good food and meet them, they choose the ingredients very accurately and you can taste is an high level of quality.
We stumbled on this place as we didn't get a seat in the much talked about Thalasaa restaurant nearby. This turned out to be a very pleasant experience. The decor is a nice and pleasing white furniture with seating close to the beach. The restaurant is run by a lady from Italy (which we only learnt after finishing our meal) but as we dug our teeth into the brushetta and pasta we knew someone had done a great job training the chefs. We tried quite a few italian restaurants in the area and in Vagator but i must say this place tasted the most authentic. We ended up ordering twice as though we were filled we were not satiated. The owner, came and spoke to us towards the end of our meal and from her accent we could tell she was Italian, she was very courteous and gave the kids some free chocolates. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.
Great food and equally brilliant place. This is a 140 year old house which has been modified into a beautiful restaurant. Food is really good especially the pasta. Do try their Margherita Pizza as well. Quaint.
Lazy Holiday Afternoon. Used TripAdvisor and found this gem.. Sceptical as sometimes highly rated restaurant have mediocre food but great ambience and views.
We were welcomed by Parth and Aman who were so warm and friendly. Made us feel good the go.
The Restaurant is set in a beautiful old Goan home very well maintained with antique furniture and curios.
We ordered a Ham Pizza.. Ravioli.. Steaks
The food is superb.. Well prepared and presented. You can can make out that good quality ingredients have been used.
Desserts we had some yummy homemade chocolates and thanks to Parth and Aman we were treated to some homemade Baileys shots.
The food and the staff justify the high reviews and the Owners who are Italian have made it a point to maintain the quality and deliver fresh food prepared in their very own kitchen (pastas, bread, chocolates, cakes)
Remember portions are little large so order few dishes and based on your hunger take it from there.
Anyways.. GRAZIE Mille
Great Italian food, homemade pasta is like in Italy delicious, all ingredients are choose accurately. The owners are fantastic people gave us a very special experience. A must visit place in goa.
