An elegant place to spend your mornings!! Epic breakfast for all. If you want something light, they have cereal and milk. If you crave something heavy then their Burgers will do the trick. Croissant with ham and cheese (pic) is very tasty. You can order Chocolate Croissant off the menu. The juices and slushies are lovely. It's worth a visit. Courteous staff makes the visit worthwhile.

Lovely place with the use of white and light green giving a mediterranean feel to the restaurant/café combined with soft music playing in the background. Great food and desserts to savour the taste buds. Morning breakfast with strawberry pancakes are a must try here. Take heed that German bread served here is pungent/bitter to taste. To those visiting this place (especially Indians), keep your voice down or shut the heck up. If it's loud music or noisy chit-chat you want, stay away from this place.

Lovely little place close to where we were staying. Perfect ambiance for a lazy breakfast. Luckily it wasn't too crowded when we went so we got a table immediately and could take our time with our meal. We had the banana pancakes which were made in a way I've never had before. They were a bit more like fritters with whole pieces of bananas in it. The edges were slightly crispy too. We loved it. The ham and cheese croissant was firstly made with salami instead of ham and the bread wasn't as flaky as a croissant should be, but we really enjoyed it for what it was nonetheless. It was nice and fresh.

Lila cafe was initially located along the Baga river front, a great location. ONly recently they have moved to the tito's compound en route to Arpora on the Calangute-Anjuna Road. I'd recommend eating a light breakfast (in case you are diabetic like me) and then go there for a heavy brunch. Their croissants are fluffy and have a good crust. They serve everything from Juices, Milkshakes, Coffee, Tea, and Beers. I've been going there for years now and they have yet to disappoint. They accept Credit Card now.

I had the most yummy and soft croissant here. It really was mouth watering. This being a German restaurant serves few kinds of breads. I am generally adventures when it comes to food. But never in Goa. I tried a simple croissant and a cheese cake here. Croissant was a hit, the cheese cake not so much. The staff a amicable and well behaved.

One of the best cafes in North Goa near the Anjuna petrol pump. This is a great place to chill out on the way to or from Anjuna. Try their apple pie, ham and cheese croissant, chicken burger, curly's with mash potatoes and sauerkraut, Greek salad, and various fresh juices - a must visit for a mid meal stop when in Goa.

No words to describe this wonder. The ambience is amazing and so is the food. Must must go. The roads are slightly tricky, howo Gps can guide you through. Do not forget to meet the German owner of this Lovely place.
Vyom Parmar
Run by German owners, the cafe serves European cuisines. Perfect place to start your day, have breakfast here and you can find yourself not wanting to leave and simply read your newspaper! The croissants are amazing and so is the apple pie.

Amazing european-style breakfast- great portions, delicious and beautiful nature vibe. Highly recommended!

Best place to have breakfast! Great quality and taste loved the chocolate pancakes.

Excellent place for a sumptuous breakfast. The croissant, Bacon, sausages were just perfect. Worth every rupee spent. There staff is friendly and patient.

Super soft croissants ... One of the best we've had ! Quaint place with quick service !

Awesome place for breakfast. Made fresh. Must try different omelettes. Cool ambience. Service was quick and good.
Surajit Deb
Nice breakfast place, loved the breads and sausages. Americano was naive. Finally, loved the message "The dogs are friendly, Beware of the owner" . Lol :-)

Ratatouille here is a must try. Best known for it's incredible omelettes and Amazing Pastas.

I went here after reading such good reviews on Zomato and google but alas I was disappointed. Though the place looks very charming and quaint with a relaxing atmosphere, the food definitely wasn’t up to the mark. Perhaps I was wrong to pick this place for a vegetarian cuisine nevertheless they should know the basic cooking skills. The spaghetti dish that I ordered came with just plain tomato sauce. I might not be a chef but I definitely know what arrabiata suace tastes like and this was nothing like it. It was sour, salty, and unappetising. Definitely not our money’s worth...

Visited Lila Cafe for breakfast twice during our stay. The ambience is simple with ample seating options.
Tried a large variety of dishes. The food tasted fresh and good. My favourite dishes were the Bacon Omlette, Waterbuffalo Ham Roll, Chicken Liver Pate Croissant and Beef Filet Steak.
The service is super quick and the servers were attentive.
Overall an amazing place to visit for breakfast.

A nice cafe amidst the sea of other places in the white house.. Chanced upon this cafe while having a refill at the anjuna petrol station, we tried a coffee and croissant and both were good. Will go back if Im getting a refill and feeling hungry after!!

The dishes we ordered were Bacon Omlet and German Bread along with fresh and refreshing fruit juice.

A wonderful place.
Slightly overpriced

The breakfast we had from Lila Cafe at Anjuna consisted of a Mushroom cheese omelet which was good, Fried potato with bacon which had a lot of potato and very little bacon (which was disappointing) and Pancake with maple syrup which was also good. Overall ambience and service was good, but the restaurant was pricey when compared to the others in and around Anjuna

Very peaceful garden seating and white themed interiors.
I had tried German food for the first time here so the Watermelon juice I ordered - was fresh and room temperature which I didn't particularly like. The cottage cheese sandwich was also cold with even the cottage cheese cold to touch. So it was a different experience for me. But there are a variety of dishes to try!
Recommended for the experience and ambience!

Amazing place for breakfast!!! From Pancakes to mashed potatoes and from traditional omelet to croissants, everything here is to die for!!! Would love to visit this place over and over again when in Goa!!

If u r in Goa and wanna experience a continental food with peaceful ambience, then this is the place near Anjuna beach.

Ordered : Chicken croissant 🥐, Roasties, strawberry pie 🍓
Croissant was soft and delicious. Roasties was r first experience and was totally superb.
The tastiest dish was strawberry pie 🍓, we would never forget it taste. All the strawberry on the pie was sweet and fresh. The preparation of food was ultimate.

Service and staff : Good service.

Overall : Ambience is good, felt peaceful surrounded with trees. Good food. We would like to visit again.
I visited goa sometime back , was looking to have breakfast, so found this place on zomato !
I must say a good place but with less breakfast options !! But still i had a good time here with food !!
Chocolate pan cake was good but quite thick !!
Although didnot liked the banana pancakes at all !!
Mushroom omelette was nice , a little bland but goes well with their butter croissant, that was the freshest one i ever had !
Cheese cake was okay okay !!
Apple pie was also not that good !!
However really liked a dish made from potatoes don’t remember the name , kind of potato chilla !!
Overall had a good time with food !!

Nice ambience, yummy food. We had water buffalo ham with garlic bread.. Laze around.. Eat relax and eat again. Engo the owner is a great person. Staff is very nice and friendly. Not visiting this cafe when you are in Goa, is like not visiting the Taj Mahal when in Agra. 🌺🌺

It’s a good place....if you are hungry....and crossing this restraunt ....you can have a stop...otherwise you look for some another options out there
Superb place to have breakfast in Goa. Whenever I do visit Goa, this is one of my places to have breakfast.

It has excellent options, good service too.

Do try out the plain and the cheese omelets.

Surely, one of the places to be to heavy breakfast to kick start a great day in Goa.
Foodie Mumbai
Super dumb place. One must not entertain this place
Shitty food. This place is too costly and not worth at all. Just because its goa doesnt mean that ill pay high amount for shitty food. So janta make sure. Not to visit

The one and only "LILA CAFE". Amazing place to be and sure to be in must visit list on everyones coming to North Goa. The breakfast menu is short and simple, if you love German and Continental Breakfast then its a go to place for you guys. I had cheese omlette and some bread and it was awesome along with a kingfisher ultra.

Actually we are die heart fan of Rocky and Mayur from Highway on my plate tv program for food lovers. We came to know about this place from them. So we visited this place for our breakfast in the morning near Anjuna beach.. as expected the ambiance and food taste is very good and continental. Don't expect taste like Indian food as this Cafe is run by one German couple who loves to cook and bring the taste and food from their native country. This place is for those people who loves to explore different cusines from different countries and places. This place bit expensive but worth trying for once.

In the menu:
Chicken & mayonnise croissant : soft and fluffy stuffed with chicken
Roestis with cheese and chicken : shredded chicken and mozzarella cheese grated potatoes..roasted to crispy texture..
Strawberry tart : light crunchy tart with fresh strawberries on top of the cream and transulent gelatin over it..looks tempting and tasted yummy.

Taste 4.5/5(for food explorer)
Ambiance 5/5
Service 4/5
Value for money 4/5
Priyanka
Ok so we went to this place after looking at the reviews on Zomato nd trip advisor. Firstly they don't have a lot of vegetarian options. Secondly the croissant which we ordered for was just normal pao/bread baked in the shape of a croissant and served cold. Filter coffee is black coffee, milk and sugar on the side. For the quality of food offered, the prices are really expensive. We were awake the whole night travelling and really expected a lot from this place but it was just disappointing.

Discovered this place while in Goa hunting for a lazy breakfast with chilled out ambiance. The place did not disappoint me at all! It has a huge seating area with couple of dogs to pet for dog lovers.
Food wise, the menu boasts of house grown and home made stuff which stood true to all the dishes we had ordered. I had ordered Paneer croissant sandwich, imperial coffee, the texture of which was mouth watering. Absolutely recommended and I am definitely going to head back there again if I'm in Goa!
The Gourmet Therapy
Discovered this cafe while searching for best breakfast in goa. And it does not disappoint at all. We loved it so much that its a must visit for every trip.

Food is very good, with lovely flavours. This is not one of those places where the flavour of actual ingredient is lost behind strong and heavy spices and masalas.

Must try: croissants

Used to be regulars here along time ago..

Visited recently for breakfast and it was very average. They definitely have to train the staff especially with taking orders. We ordered ham omlettes and were served ham and cheese omlettes. The eggs come with no toast , butter and jam. The server didnt ask either. The sausages, baguette were ok.
Desserts we tried were the apple pie and a walnut cake which was good.

This place will really make your morning so good. Located in the breezy street of Anjuna,a perfect place to start your day with good food and charming vibes.

Chanced upon this cafe this morning while scouting for breakfast. Wasn’t disappointed at all. Didn’t order much but the Croissant and German bread was one of the best that I have tasted. Fresh as can be. The bread was especially wonderful with a lot of sour flavour. Coffee was good! Will come again for a more exhaustive spread. Will definitely try the German sausage with Sauerkraut. A good find! Good place for having breakfast with kids ..

How can a place mess up an omlette.. Well, pls visit Lila Cafe if you are keen to know. Coffee was served cold, and muesli was over priced and just about average
Umesh Arora
Awesome place, very cosy and friendly staff. Must try croissants and bacon.
Loved the place. Must visit when in goa if you looking for European breakfast.

Best continental breakfast in Goa. Fresh croissants from the bakery, home made marmalade and jam, fresh fruit salad, fried potato with either bacon or onion. Omelettes and eggs too many options to mention. They also do lunches which also look delicious. Strawberry tarts heavenly, almond biscuits and German rye bread good.
Ronit Roy
A breakfast and lunch cafe with great setup. Easy to find and with good parking. Servers are polite and can speak English. The menu is how a bakery cafe is. We ordered the chocolate croissant and it was good, we ordered the pancake which was a bit of a let down..
Safaz Sayed
A cute coffee shop in Anjuna. Pretty interiors and a nice place to chill. Relaxed seating. Good quality is good. Friendly staff. However the place shuts at 6:30pm.

Four of us visited Lila Cafe for brunch on a lazy morning in Goa after a night of partying. The open cafe ambience was very serene and peaceful. The bamboo chairs provided a very relaxed feeling to the set up. We had some filter coffee to wake us up. We tried the beef burger, ham sandwich, chocolate croissant, beef steak in pepper sauce and washed it down with strawberry and raspberry slushies and fresh juices. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and recommend this cafe for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

I love going to this cafe in every Goa trip. The ideal place for a lazy and huge breakfast. I really like those huge omelettes that they make, croissants just the way I like and freshly baked. Every time I just overeat. Just that the price is a touch steep else everything else is perfect
Soham Mukhopadhyay
Awesome place. Great food. Great vibe. This is the perfect cure to a party night. Lifts me up. Must haves: fried bacon, bacon cheese omelette, cold coffee.

Went to this place keeping in mind the high rating this place has on zomato .It's a quite den all white with colour full tables cover set up .It was not very crowded when we went there infact only one table .The server was polite and informed us about all what we asked for. I ordered for a plain croissant and a chicken one ....both were good. The main course the fried chicken with mash potatoes was a let down as the sauce tasted fun .Also the chocolate pancake a big let down .had a nice local beer called the eight finger Eddie's good beer to taste

The only one good thing is the venue. Our waiter couldn't communicate properly and wasn't able to clarify the menu. Prices are over expensive, and food is average. German bread is the most pathetic thing at this place which I ever tried.

My go to place for a quiet breakfast/brunch after a long night out. Peaceful atmosphere with warm service.
The shakes were refreshing and the pancakes are soft and yummy (suggestion- please add some Nutella to top up!!)
The ham & cheese croissant and the beef burger also satisfied our cravings!
Really enjoyed our peaceful morning dining here, thank you!

The cafe is just okay and the food is not that great as in the reviews and prized very high. To be frank this is overrated and overhyped. we just had a couple of things just for a trial. Just below average.
Darshana
This place was there in all the “Must Visit Cafe” in goa. Personally, i did not like it , the waiters had no clue , when we asked them what’s the restaurant’s speciality. We ended up ordering cold coffee and croissants, which was below average.
There are way better places in goa , so you can skip this !
Adarsh Anand
Ambience is quite nice. It feels like you are eating admist a garden. Peaceful and quiet. You get good English breakfast. We came to this place around 11 am... I loved it!

We were near anjuna and wanted to have filling lunch at some cute place. We came to know about this while scrolling through zomato. It was just like we had expected after we saw the pictures and reviews on zomato. Ordered chicken breast in tom sauce and spaghetti with cheese and tomato and cold coffee.
Recommended. (But if you’re low on budget in goa, then I would not recommend because its a high end restaurant).
Yosha Porwal
This place has one of the best chocolate croissants to offer. The ambience is very quite and serene. I found it perfect for a breakfast before heading out to north goa beaches.
Deepali Giroh
This is a very cute cafe which offers limited yet quiet tasty food, which is perfect to go when you are with your friends, the staff is very helpful and the ambiance is very amazing. I had spaghetti with tomato sauce and cold coffee. I would say if you are in Goa you must visit this place.
Swati Ananth
We stopped at this sweet lil cafe at Anjuna before heading back from Goa and am glad we did ! This place has some really good croissants 🥐. We called for a cheese omlete, masala omlete (comes with fillings of capsicum, onion and tomato) porridge, chocolate pancakes and some coffee. Food was good. The owner is very friendly and the staff is courteous. Service was quick. The ambience is largely a hue of white with comfortable seating and a relaxed aura. A fine place to spend a lazy morning with a drink or too. Do visit this place on your next trip to Goa!

Excellent food. Couldn't ask for a better ambience and service. Would definitely recommend for breakfast. A Go-to place in Goa and something that you shouldn't miss.
I liked the place! Quiet and uncomplicated! Food is nice as is the coffee. I tried the Lamb burger and it was a nice grub!

And as most nice cafes here as well it is the owners who make all the difference.

This is one of must have places to try in Goa. No ratings can do justify the food. We had breakfast here and every dish is awesome.

The host n servers are very polite and nice.
The place has a cool ambience and vibe to it.

Food just tastes awesome and I would go back again to try other items in the menu next time.definitely bit pricey on the pocket.

Must Try items
crosstini ,croissants , tomato mozzarella platter, chocolate pop.
Raghav M
Horrible horrible food - don't eat here. We came in here because of their rating but the portions were tiny and the food even worse. Big mistake - don't believe the rating.
Mrfunnydrool
A couple of kilometres adrift Anjuna beach in Goa is this place.
It’s a German restaurant which has no Hitler references and is very very quaint with regards to the interior.
The butter croissant here is a whole new level. It has the entire plant of Amul butter inside it.
It’s flaky, crisp on the outside and really really mushy in the centre.
As per the price it’s very budget friendly and can be a good plan in the morning after getting hammered the night before.
Lila Cafe has been here for nearly thirty years and has frequent celebrity visitors like Salman Rushdie and other eminent personalities who have praised its food and ambience. Loved the breakfast here. I had a croissant with prawns, egg and mayo sauce. Croissants are actually awesome here. The staff is also extra courteous and helpful
Prajna Rao
This is nice little place on the way to Anjuna beach. Well lit and bright, good ambience. My friend and I had been there for breakfast, they have limited options for veg food, although the taste was good.

Calm and quiet place. Went for breakfast. Good variety of dishes. Friendly staffs. Ordered desserts, omelette and croissant. All were good and delicious!
Shobhit Aggarwal
Cute, little, airy, green place with lovely outdoor seating and open kitchen - when all things good come together u are bound to love that place.
This place serves best and fresh croissants, pancakes and shakes.
We ordered croissants with prawns with egg, mayo& lettuce. Probably the best breakfast dish ever had. U take a bite and there is burst of flavours in mouth which take u to the another level. Expectations were actually raised after tasting it.
Omelettes are also nice and fluffy.
We also ordered Chicken- liver patty burger/ baguette which was too heavy for breakfast.
Ice cream shakes are good.
Will go back to this place only to have prawn croissants.
Anjum Attar
Lila was lovely. Beautiful ambiance, airy, chirpy and great vibes. Best suited for breakfast or brunch. Is functional only during the season. They accept only cash, be mindful of this. My review points are 3.5/5 but zomato will make me round it off to 4.

Food wise

- Meat croissant : melt in the mouth, freshly baked bread. Full marks to this one.

- Farmers omelette : this one was average for us though Lila recommends it, full of potato. Skip.

- Chocolate cake : good, but not mind blowing.

- Cold coffee : amazing, must have

- Watermelon juice : nice and fresh.

- Chocolate pops : these pops from the bakery literally stole the show. Super yum at 20rs a piece.

While our food experience was strictly okay, the ambiance and the service were really top notch. Still it's a pricey place, no doubt. We paid 800 pp.

Goa is a state which has multi-faceted restaurants,
different people from different countries have come here and opened some fabulous restaurants.. One of our searches brought up Lila Cafe, a german breakfast place..
Its basically situated on the outside in a big made up shed, decorated with simple looking curtains.. located in Anjuna area, the place is very windy and with a lot of greenery closeby offers an awesome ambience to start your day with.
We ordered a lot of items.....
Chicken Croissant
Ham & Cheese Croissant
Cheese Omlette
Bacon Fry
Mashed Potatoes
Beef Burger
Chicken Burger
Chocolate and plain pancakes..
The croissants were home-made and were a delight to ones eyes and tastebuds equally. The were soft and well layered. The fillings were additional but balanced the taste of the croissants really well.
The cheese omlette was a kickass serving, a lot of cheese filled in between the omlette with some fried onions is one lipsmacking dish that you would want to order when you visit here... This is definitely a must-try.
The burgers were good, thin patties with some veggies and greens and apt amount of sauces created a balanced dish for a breakfast burger.
Mashed potatoes were a bit bland as it lacked a lot of cream in it, the mash was good but a little more cream would have made the potatoes taste heaven.
Bacon fry is one thing why I would go back to that place once again when I'm in goa, subtly fried bacon, not too much seasoning and no oil at all...
Overall a nice place to start your day with and chill out with your near and dear ones while you sip on some coffee and have some delicious breakfast.
Ananya Seth
Went to Lila Cafe with really high expectations going by the Zomato rating but the food was very average. Unlike other breakfast places, it did not serve any breakfast combos and we had to order everything separately right from the butter to bread. Slightly heavy on the pocket. The quality and presentation of the food could be worked upon.
Rahul Ray
Amazing place for a wholesome breakfast. Went there twice for breakfast Friendly staff and great food with a lively ambience. Orange Marmalade is a must try.
Aadhi Shree
A must visit café for a brilliant wholesome breakfast. With a very pretty ambiance, Lila café calls out to you for German and English style meals. Breakfast options are vast which includes eggs, different omelettes, sausages, roesti, sandwiches, croissants and so on. You can pair all of this up with their baguettes, bread rolls or slices of German bread( sourdough) They also have Lassis and milkshakes. Also, make sure that you look out for their Specials as these are delicious dishes that aren't mentioned in the menu.
We were a big group of friends and ordered a lot of food but coming to the dishes I ate:
Chicken sausages- Juicy and well cooked. Served with Mustard sauce. 3 sausages per portion.
Mashed potatoes- Absolutely smooth and buttery delicious goodness
Baguette- Freshly baked with a hard crust and soft insides. Perfect bread to accompany your breakfast.
German sliced bread- 2slices of a sourdough bread. Didn't suit the Indian palate. It was a hard and coarse bread with a sour aftertaste.
Fried bacon- Ahh, the quality of Bacon was amazing. Crispy but juicy. This was a plate of heaven.
The dishes are priced very reasonably for the location and the quantity.

It's a beautiful quite place, which gives you privilege to sit in nature and enjoy your meals. The place was 2.5 km from where I am staying and it took me about half an hour to reach there by foot, but still I went there two consecutive days just to have breakfast. Now the question comes why I put so much of effort in just going there when I had a perfect buffet breakfast option at my resort.

Well for the first day I just went exploring the place, after seeing it's zomato rating and second day I wanted to have breakfast just there. They make there own various kind of buns and searve then in form of sandwiches, you know they are fresh, when the buns and crossito added to display are warm and soft.

They make there food in an open kitchen kind of arrangement, so one can actually see how the things are made and there hygiene level. You can also get fresh juices in here, to which are really refreshing. Only thing they lack in is, variety in vegetarian menu. But overall, really a must go kinda place if you are in Goa.

Lila Cafe is an European restaurant that’s known for it’s interiors and some lip-smacking all-day breakfast.
Their menu offers extremely delicious dishes with their own signature twists that will surely be a treat to your taste buds.

A must visit on every Goa trip.....every thing about Lila cafe oozes goodness. To start of the ambience is relaxing well lit alot of greenery and white all around. The service is quick and the staff are friendly i have been a patron at Lila's over years and have never had an bad experience.

Well let's now get to the food. The croissants are so amazing fluffy fresh and melt in your mouth. My son loves the cake pops keeps him happy and occupied. The chicken and cheese roesti is a must try, even the ham and cheese croissant is super.

Overall would give Lilas a big 5. Sadly this good friday they shut at 1:30 pm else it would have been round 2 at Lila's this trip.
Chitra Nayak
Usual cafe in Goa near Club Cabana. The only thing I couldn’t digest is when you order eggs in breakfast (not at all cheap) ,you have to separately order bread too and on top of that order butter separately. The ambience was okay.
Arjun
Well this place is a bit overrated. Read about it on blogs and it’s on Zomato collection, but the food was not that great. The ratatouille did not have the authentic ingredients and the croissant wasn’t something to die for (as written by blogs).
But the saving grace for this place were the drinks - both the cold coffee and grape slush were good! But you can give this place a miss if you have limited days in Goa!
Dr.Madhubrata Ghosh
Cafe located amidst greenery.deliciously soft and fluffy crossaints. The omlettes are really filling.try the chilly cheese variant.fresh fruit juices available without sugar.cappuchino is pretty decent.all in all must for breakfast or brunch.

This place is like a breakfast/snack love.. It's a must try for anybody who loves English breakfast.. We were in north Goa for about 4 days and we never went to a different place for breakfast.. everyday we used to plan that we would go someother place but somehow we ended up showing up to Lila Cafe..
The food here is awesome.. it's like it's made with loveand served the same way..
We tried Breakfast sausages, Crossaint, Crossaint sandwich, scrambled eggs, Roesti, strawberry cake, French Chocolate Truffle, cold coffee, hot chocolate, Herbal tea and everything was just perfect. We couldn't expect more delicious breakfast than this.
We even got a chance to talk with the owner "INGO" and it was really nice talking to him..
Food - 4.5/5
Ambience- 4.5/5
Service- 5/5

I highly recommend this place to all for snacks and breakfast.

One of my favourite things to do in Goa besides the obvious - beaches and booze is breakfast. Breakfasts in Goa are best enjoyed at leisure and mostly in solitude....slowly awakening your senses to the world around you.
Cafe Lila is just that....laid back and relaxed. We spent two out of our four mornings here. The food is specatucular and the portion size generous. We were a group of 7 and tried quite alot of items on the menu.
A couple of things that we really loved -
Croissant with the orange marmalade. Add some fried bacon to the sandwich and you are in heaven. The croissant itself was one of the best that I've had in India.
The daily specials - The curry wurst, sausages with mash & sauerkraut all instantly transports you to Germany.
The prawn and egg croissant sandwich
This place owned by a couple who came to Goa 40 years ago.. they serve home made breads and most own farming things.. their best USP is beacon omellete and there in-house breads.. it's quite cheap place in terms of price as per richness of food quality.. if you are going there and talking to the owners i think you will feel homely. Also there mango cheese cake is must try.. its on the road of chapora just after skipping the left turn of anjuna beach.. a must go pace in North Goa..

Let me start with the setting. Located at Tito's white house, the cafe epitomizes the relaxed Goan culture with its comfortable chairs and quaint decor. The menu (presented in form of a newspaper) is unique and fun to read. The food is fresh, neat and incredible. We ordered mashed potatoes with onions, rosti with mushrooms, cheese and onion and an egg white only Omlette with spinach. The standout thing about the food was the freshness and quality of ingredients. Though for me, the potatoes lacked some salt, i guess salt is always a personal choice. I also enjoyed the fruit tea and a chat with the owner- a lovely lady. All in all, a place I would definitely go back to whenever I visit Goa next.

Better Tastier & Bigger !!

The old Lila Cafe has now shifted !! If you have been to the old location of theirs which was by the bridge in baga, you won’t find them there anymore.

They are now in Anjuna, by the petrol pump.

Great breakfast joint with a lovely deli menu.

🥐 Croissants to die for
We had the sausage was awesome
The Tosti well done was bad ass
The chicken croissant 🥐 was a must have.

Over all the place rocked as a breakfast joint and a deli.

Loved it as Goa is all about break fasts !!

I would call Lila the perfect place to recover from the previous night’s hangover. Known for its breakfast menu, the food here is exactly what you need to kick off your day on a happy and satisfying note.

The best thing on the menu for me were the Croissants (with Prawns and Cheese). You have the option of different meats and veggies to go along it as well. The Eggs and the juices were pretty spot-on too!

The ambience is relaxing and provides a perfect setting to have a content meal. My suggestion: make time during the day and treat yourself to a fresh meal at this place.

PS: They close at 6!

Been visiting this place from last 2 new yrs, the experience this time was not upto the mark. 7 of us went for breakfast and the hospitality/service was not good. We felt the owner wants to send us out quickly by serving the food fast. Food quality and quantity had come down. Omlette's were not tasting good, fruit juice quantity was less. We enjoyed only the banana pan cake this time. Overall the experience was average. Would like to explore some new places for breakfast when in goa from next time.

A beautiful breakfast place. They serve the most amazing butter croissants. Their chairs are so relaxing that one would just want to lay back and relish on their breakfast items. One of the few places that opens up early in Goa and serves a good breakfast.

I have been with my family to this cafe in super cool morning for breakfast at Anjuna.Cool cane seating inside and in small garden as well.We tried croissants, homemade jams, mushroom omelette, cheese chilli omelette, chicken burger, pure orange juice.I must say food here rocks, though bland you seasonings available. They serve Greek bread, sausages, the list goes on.For me it's a wow.

The staff is courteous, helped us by offering Greek bread to taste before we order.I will post pictures soon.Though my parents prefer Indian food, appreciated this food like us.Quantity and Quality bang on.😀

Regards,
Apoorva

According to me... This is one place for breakfast in town that should be in your radar during your vacation. Everything served quick and fresh. Go in the morning and the ambience will add to the experience. The menu has something for everyone and daily specials are also good options. A fully satisfied tummy is guaranteed.

A place for great, soft baked croissants! We had Veg Omelette and chicken mayo with Croissant and tea.

The place is pretty laid back. Though found it a bit pricey. 800/- bucks for a breakfast is a bit too much.

This shack-styled German owned cafe offers extremely appetising hearty breakfast and European dishes. The place is quiet, cozy and just amaze. A visit to Goa is never complete without stepping into this place.

Went for a late morning breakfast to Lila after reading the raving reviews on Zomato; the place doesn’t live up to the reviews at all.

Ambience: 4/5 - no a/c but we visited in November so it was pleasant to sit. A few tables are placed on a turf with umbrellas. Feels like eating in the garden. The wifi doesn’t work which is a big let down.

Food: 2/5 - we ordered The farmer’s breakfast; chicken and mayo croissant; chocolate pancakes; cheese and mushroom omelette; fried bacon; plain croissant; marmalade and chikoo and avacado milkshakes.
The server had recommended the Farmer’s breakfast, which wasn’t edible. It was under seasoned and dry. Chicken mayo croissant had tough over cooked chicken and almost no mayo. Chocolate pancakes were alright and generously laden with chocolate sauce and my 4 yr old enjoyed them. The omelette had almost no cheese and for the price we paid for it, it was very average.
The homemade marmalade was yum and the milkshakes too were yum.

Service: 2/5 - the server’s recommendation was a flop. Water wasn’t served and when we asked for water he brought us just one glass among three! We had to ask for more water which I found quite odd. No one bothered to even ask how the food was and when we gave them a feedback abt the distasteful dishes he said if u had told me in one bite or so I could have done something but not now! 😳 no sorry; no what was wrong with it.

Value for Money: 1/5 - We paid a total of 1735 INR for two adults and a child. The omelette was priced at 200 and it’s just a two egg omelette without any sides not even a slice of bread. Croissant is priced at 60 INR and that is also plain just a single croissant. Marmalade or jam or butter is at an additional price of 50INR. For the scale of the place this was a very expensive breakfast.

Not recommended.

In love with this place. They have a great breakfast menu! Everything that we ordered was so good. Started with a Ham & Cheese omelette and Bacon omelette. Tasted awesome, ham one was better. For main course we had spaghetti bolognese, farmers breakfast, pan seared chicken leg and roesti. Roesti is sort of a potato pancake with various stuffings. We opted for chicken & chilli and onion & cheese. It's soft and tasty. The pasta was decent but the standout dish was farmers breakfast. It's a potato, egg, cheese and bacon dish and by far one of the best breakfast dishes i have eaten. Strongly recommend this one! Also took a tomato and mozzarella croissant and chicken sausages. Both were not bad. Ambience and service is also good. The staff were humble. Please visit Lila Cafe to have a good breakfast any time before 6pm!

A cafe which has reached a cult status and following owing largely to its claim as an authentic European breakfast place with a relaxed vibe. Like most places in Goa which are owned by expatriates this cafe is highly revered by its patrons as a "must visit destination".
The mushroom omlette i ordered tasted bland and consisted of boiled mushrooms placed inside an already prepared double egg omlette. They only serve German bread which is quite sour and sticky and so I ordered a croissant to go with it which was perfect.

Next up was the cucumber yogurt salad which was essentially cucumbers dipped in yogurt. It is funny that such simple and healthy food is consumed by us not in our homes but in cafes that market themselves as servers of food for the soul.
I also ordered a chikoo shake which is by far the best I've ever had in my life. It was consistent and not too sweet.
Ambience : 4/5
Service : 3.5/5
Food : 3/5
This place should be on the 'to do list' of every tourist who visits Goa. The food is decent here. Nice Croissants, Shakes, Steaks. Excellent if you are looking for a place to have a lazy Sunday Lunch. Service can be a bit better. Otherwise, the ambience is something to watch out for!!

The cafe has been shifted to a new place.. right on the main road and easy to locate. Its an all day dining and the croissants are the best i have ever had. A perfect place to grab a brunch which serves some pretty decent deserts as well. Pricing is very decent and the ambiance is very chill too.. a must visit if you are around anjuna.:)

Also, their menu is shown in form of newspaper.

Food - 3.5/5
Quantity- okayis
Service - too quick 5/5
Ambience- it has a small garden next to it.. Very clean place.

Good place for breakfast and mocktails.

We went there around noon to have our brunch, and were more or less satisfied with the food and service.

The service was very slow, like all other places in Goa that I've been to.

I liked the food, especially the sandwiches. The coffee was also good, although I found my espresso to be a little lighter than usual.

Good experience overall.

It deserves its place in any great breakfast collection in goa, the variety in menu is very good. Food is served a bit delayed but tasted good. The bakery might want to work on the cheese cake but apart from that I would go any number of times.

Run by German owners, the cafe serves European cuisines. Perfect place to start your day, have breakfast here and you can find yourself not wanting to leave and simply read your newspaper! The croissants are amazing and so is the apple pie.

Seeing the great reviews, zomato score card and hearing some great reviews from friends I decided to explore this cafe for breakfast. It is situated near Anjuna beach area and doesn't have a landscape view however the interior is typical Goan Hut style look...the menu is quite limited so I ordered cheese and ham omelette with breakfast sausages, German bread toast, cappuccino and potatoes wrapped with bacon.
I do have digital references for all and they looked beautiful and too good to dig into...but the omelette had so much cheese that every mouthful tasted like a packet of salt and hence could hardly finish half of the omelette. The cappuccino was just decent and German bread slice was really bad..the sour dough was beyond being sour. The only worthy dish was potatoes wrapped in bacon and breakfast sausages..I personally felt very dissatisfied and disappointed with the entire experience and did share my view to the staff serving us... not sure what went wrong in their kitchen that led to such a horrendous food start for our day and a bad stomach too. I have digital references which look beautiful however everything that looks good doesn't taste good!

Enroute Anjuna, stopped at Lila Café for a breakfast. It is easy to spot this café opposite a petrol pump. As soon as I entered I got a good vibe and knew I will have a good meal. Quickly ordered Chai, Croissants, Bacon Omelette and Ham & Cheese Sandwich in German sourdough bread.

Started the breakfast with kadak chai and soft croissants. The taste of the croissant was just about okay. It did not look fresh by the look but wasn't stale at all. It wasn't as layered and buttery as expected. Bacon Omelette had generous bits of bacon which was elevating the taste of the omelette. The spring onion that was showered for garnish added a good taste to the cheesy omelette. If this is how they are supposed to serve then they were bang on! Extra points for that chopped spring onion.

Ham & Cheese sandwich in German sourdough bread was the highlight. Thinly sliced ham slices with cheese and lettuce were complimenting the sourdough bread. I was fixated in ordering this sandwich in this particular bread and I was quite happy making this decision.

Saw someone ordering strawberry tart with the fresh berries on the top and couldn't resist ordering that. To be honest, I was disappointed with the dessert. The tart didn't have any strawberry flavour and it heavily depended on the fresh berries. Only the berries were able to save the face of this dessert.

I wasn't completely disappointed with the entire experience and would go back Lila again for lunch to try their lunch menu.

Taste: 3.5/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Service: 4/5
VFM: 4/5
Overall: 3.5/5

This is a highly recommended place to have breakfast. On the way to Chapora Fort,we took a halt to refresh a bit. Lovely ambience, a tiny bit heavy in the pocket, but good quality. Nice peaceful ambience to chat in the afternoon. The beverages are really great here.
