Review Lilliput Caffe - Anjuna

Good parking space. Cafe is spacious enough. They have washrooms where you can take showers after coming from the beach. May be it's chargable. Would recommend you to visit in night if you want to enjoy the view of the beach. Highly recommend going to Cafe Lilliput if you’re ever headed to Anjuna Beach. It has direct beach access and seating arrangements are facing the sea. In night you can feel the water while eating your snacks. The staff is really active and you can head down to the beach to do some water sports, then heading back to eat and chill some more. A great places for families as well. The food takes a little while to come but is very flavourful . The margarita pizza is a must have. 👍

See this is a place to have drinks, hookah and snack on starter. The monsoon view was just amazing, we all were tripping on the view as we got the best seats in the house. They also have a dance floor for women and families. The service is very good and very fast. Food was okay, as I said this place is more to chill and hog on French fries at least that's what we did other than Pinacolada I had which was good and friends had hookah which was great as well. The cafe is literally on the beach. The food and alcohol is lill expensive but for a place in Anjuna I guess that's the norm. The crowd was good though, when we were there. So definitely a safer bet to hang out at.

Very nice place to chill in front of the ocean. High Tide makes it difficult to sit on the Sandy beach. Good food and drink options with cocktails.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The food was excellent, and I highly recommend trying the cheesecake, which was recommended by the attentive crew member Yash. The restaurant's location right on the beach offers a stunning view, making the meal even more enjoyable. However, I do have some feedback on cleanliness. It's an aspect that could be improved to make the overall dining experience even better.

Great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Sunil was our server ! The guy deserves a raise for his customer service etiquette. Reached around 12am , stayed till 4 am . The beach is so calm ! Dj was also superb !

We went to this amazing place with a great sea view. Really liked the mocktails we ordered and also Gajendra was a great host to us. Looking forward to more visits.

I was searching for a good shacks in Anjuna beach and I found Cafe lilliput. This shack serves all varieties of food with liquor and Hookah.<br/><br/>We ordered cheese balls, fish fry and paneer tikka for starters. In drinks, Chocolate martini and Corona beer.<br/><br/>Cheese balls were stuffed more with smashed potatoes, but still had good taste. Paneer tikka was excellent. When I asked for which variety of fish they have, the staff got multiple fishes on our table to choose which I want from those. This is something I felt as unique serving where customer was allowed to choose the fish. Of, course any customer will be happy to choose it😛<br/><br/>They served fish fry, my god what a taste. I was obsessed with the taste for 1 whole day. Fish was cooked so good, if I try to cut a piece it just cuts like a cake. Masala was mouth watering 🤤🤤 I guess it contained - red chilli, garlic, ginger & coriander as well as hint of lemon squeezed on that. I still can remember the taste.<br/><br/>Shack has the best beach view. Anyone looking for best fish fry in Anjuna beach shacks then Cafe Lilliput should be your choice.

Poor service, poor food, shitty response, zero crowd and all over that entry charges. Visited over 50 restaurants and pubs on my visit to goa, this came out to be the most dissapointing.

This is my favourite place to relax at Anjuna beach. They have a 2 storeyed shack on the beach. One can relax on the sofas in the shack facing the beach or can lie down on the beach beds enjoying the breeze from the sea. They will serve you all sorts of snacks and the bar menu will offer a variety of booze. They have quite a few dogs who roam the premises and also play on the beach. Great place to rejuvenate with the breeze in your face, tan on your body and beer in your hands.

Okish place, nuthing outstanding. heinikein Beer was of 250 during happy hours. Fries were okay served with simple ketchup

Amazing vibe and super view that could be enjoyed. This is a place in goa to just be lazy sit around all day. Try be thr around sunset and spend the evening.

The service team does not understand hospitality. Had to give repeated reminders for everything from plates, spoon, water. This is when the place only has a handful of guests. Food tasted like an overdose of red chilly powder being sprinkled in pasta, tikka, pizza. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Has definitely ruined an evening for us.

I was here for lunch when I was starving! I tried the Chicken Mushroom steak and Fish Steak Sizzler. Both the dishes were yummy and very filling!<br/>We ordered and then re-ordered the cold coffee shake as it was amazing! We had also ordered for a mixed fruit juice which was okayish.<br/>The view from here was amazing! The waves lapping at the rocks at Anjuna beach was beautiful during sunset. The music played here was very trippy. The crowd was also nice. I had a great time here and will definitely revisit when I'm in Goa again!

They have a cover charge for entry from one side but it is totally free from the other side, plus the place is not worth any cover charge, an okish beach side cafe, plus the menu is overpriced. Curlie's is way better in vibes and food prices. Avoid going there.<br/>This place also has a gate pass where you have to show the bouncer a stamped bill on way back. Quite amusing.

Good place, awesome music, all night fun, cocktails & mocktail selection is amazing.. Crowded over the weekend and an entry fee is applicable.. Overall a good experience with loud house/techno music and some fireworks which is an added surprise.. Only issue is the behavior of the staff, they are very rude.. Went here during the evening once and loved the vibe of the place! We sat outside on the beach! The music was great and the food was good as well! Overall had a great time and definitely going back again!

This cafe is located just above the Anjuna Beach. It provides a wonderful sunset view. We ordered chilli chicken as starters and sheesha. Chilli Chicken was average and spicy like hell. Sorry to inform that the service was slow over here, so you need some patience to eat over here.

Worst experience ever in Goa. People come here for nice and happening beach party, all we got is disappointment.<br/>First, they charged 500 per person as entry fee for a ridiculous DJ party.<br/>Second, music is worst and gives you headache.<br/>Third, food is overpriced (even overpriced word is not enough to describe).<br/>Fourth, hookah flavour is very bad. Worst cafe for beach party. Hukka flavour sucks, music is very bad, it will give you a headache. Food is over prised moreover they charge 500 entry fee per person which is not at all worth it. Please dont go, you'll regret.

Good place,working even when all other places are closed in summer, used to be a free entrance when you are wearing a white color face, but not anymore, sometimes a good music trance/ house/techno.

As they say pictures says it all, amazing food with a breathtaking view of sea at one of the best locations and quiet beach of Goa. They are selling everything at very reasonable price with a good quality too. Strongly recommend... Cheers!!!

Came by because it had a good view. Sadly the service is really bad. Ordered a pizza from the food menu which took them more than an hour to serve. Well you can decide rest for yourself.

Put on your dance shoes and just dance after some drinks. Thats what this place is about. It's a shack cum club near to the beach. Lighting and ambience is very happening. We were 4 guys and they charged us 1k per head with some free booze. Enjoyed a lot.

This cafe is located just above the Anjuna Beach. It provides a wonderful sunset view. We ordered some starters and hookah. The starter was good but bit on the spicy side. Hookah is good over here. But the service was slow over here so prepared for a delay in your plans. This was when the restaurant almost empty during sunset time. In short, you need some patience to eat over here.

Place is good , but the staff is too rude , zero ethics and absolutely no policy.. <br/><br/>We visited on Saturday, 15th June 2019 as a couple & one female friend and the beardo entry clerk said he will charge 500 rs entry charges in total. When we requested to make it cover he informed us pay us 1500 and I will make all cover. On requesting to precheck on crowd he did not allowed us , he assured that crowd is nice but his behaviour was so rude we could sense immediately that the crowd won’t be gr8 . Eventually on entry the neither the crowd nor the guy taking order were happy we decided to leave immediately . <br/><br/>Won’t suggest any one to take extra effort to ride or drive to this rude staffed place.

Cafe Lilliput is the go to place whenever i am in Goa. The location and parking space is very hard to find.<br/><br/>Coming to the food, there butter garlic prawns are to die for. Awesome beach view cafe in Anjuna and sunset looks amazing from here. Must visit place with so many food options and food is tasty too. At night they do the lighting and dj. So its good for both afternoon and night visit as well.

Absolutely rude behavior of staff. There were 15 people and we had called a guy called Nikhil and booked a table. He nicely and politely told us he has booked a table and there is no problem. On reaching there they started asking 1000 rupee as cover and told if you don't pay cover we can't go to dance floor. Absolutely ridiculous.!!<br/>So we said we won't go to dance floor the table reserved for us is fine. Then they said you have to pay to get the table also.<br/>I have always had good reviews about lilliput and they have totally acted in the most disgraceful and obnoxious manner possible. The bouncers and lilliput staff was extremely rude and disgusting.<br/>

Soon after completing a pitcher of beer & snacks, We ordered food (Chicken Shahi Korma & 2 mixed vegetable pulav). Disappointed by the service time exceeding 45 minutes, we stormed out through the beach exit & started walking on the beach. To our surprise, the F&B attendant followed us & conveyed that the order was ready. Politely, We advised the attendant to cancel the order since it was taking too long. The attendant advised us to advise the same to the manager. We advised the attendant to escort his manager to us on the beach in order to convey the same. The attendant insisted that we walk up to the manager & convey the same. Bearing in mind that we were not satisfied with the service, We didn’t wish to step into the cafe, advised the same to the attendant & we used the exit through Aura since our bike was parked at their entrance. Not soon enough, we were interrupted by the manager & the attendant, we advised the manager that we were not happy with their service time & we don’t need the order anymore. The manager argues further rudely, insisted us to walk up to the cafe & make the payment. Astonished at the manager’s response, we advised that we don’t need the food, we will not pay a single penny & marched towards our bike. The manager along with the attendant follows us, rudely interrupts our path & advised us to make a payment stating that if we don’t, that amount might get deducted from the attendant’s salary. After experiencing such a behaviour, I advised both the manager & the attendant not to follow us, else, I would take this to the legal doors & make sure that Cafe Liliput shuts down for such a behaviour. While we started walking towards our bike, a hooligan/gunda/rowdy barges towards me, pushed me through my chest & stated in Hindi ‘Cafe Liliput bundh karne ka Aukaath nahi hai tum logo ka’ & threatens me to come aside. Immediately, my friend interrupts & tries explaining the scenario. In response, the hooligan rudely charges towards her & asks her to shut up. Note: At this point we felt like hostages surrounded & threatened by three men. Taking charge & bearing in mind our safety concerns, I explained the scenario to the guy. In response, the guy rudely asked us to leave the premises immediately & kept provoking & insulting us stating ‘Aukaath nahi tum logo ka Cafe Liliput bundh karne ka’ consecutively three times.<br/><br/>Since we were vulnerable & due to safety concerns, we had to leave the premises. Honestly, we were never embarrassed & threatened by a f&b outlet ever before. After such an experience, we have decided that we will never visit Cafe Liliput ever again.<br/><br/>Considering the above facts, I request the owner, the staff, Directorate of Food & Drug administration, HACCP & Goa Police to take this incident seriously & do the needful.<br/><br/>For the embarrassment that we have been through, I will not only publish & post this incident through social media but also advice through word of mouth to my family, friends & whosover travels to Goa.

Just another shack. We ordered garlic bread and pizza. Garlic bread was like mud. Pizza was average. But the best thing about this ppace is the sunset view that it provides. Right in front of you. Service is fine and they never bother you to hurry up. Relaxed place.

One of the beach side places in Goa, were you can get some tasty food with a North Indian touch!! Since we had experimented enough in Goa with food, this time we tried to go with a safe option of potato wedges served with ketchup which was very crispy, hot and tasty to eat. (Maccains) <br/><br/>Tandoori chicken is surely to have here! It was really nice, tender and properly cooked from inside. Everyone could be seen repeating this order here!The chicken marination seemed to have a strong flavor of different species and garlic.Had to repeat this order and we were almost full! They also organized a live show, were a professional was giving some good daring performances with the rings of fire which made our time more memorable.<br/><br/>Over all, a wonderful & a refreshing evening spent here. Good location but very shady. Weak place. So many other cafe/bars are much, much better. I wish their was a negative option on the “rate your experience” because I’d be giving a -10*. Door man aka door goofs and bartenders literally just stare at female parts. So creepy. Plus, there’s an unnecessary 500 rupee charge to get in. <br/><br/>I have no issues spending a few bucks for quality but when the staff are very rude and their mediocre menu is overpriced why even bother. I have lived/stayed in Anjuna for the past 2.5 months and can tell you that their reputation for rudeness from backpackers I meet from all over the world all end up saying the exact same thing...terrible. Heard a lot about cafe lilliput but it disappointed me. Rs.500-Couple entry just for using the dance floor. Bad service, rude waiters... Dj was ok. Good service is provided only to foreigners. Food is expensive.

Located right at the beach, Cafe Lilliput is the place to visit if you just want to relax with a great view. We prefer visiting this plat during the day, purely because of the view.<br/><br/>The food is good... Service can be a little faster though.<br/><br/>We visited for breakfast this time and were surprised with the shakes... Two 30's of old monk and coke he charged us 600buck and just before billing it to us both the bartenders where laughing and commenting that how they are going to fool us by over charging it 4times more than actual price.<br/>And after I caught them in the act they were still not very apologizing,<br/>In fact they had an attitude as if "if you complain more I will also raise my voice and won't see if it is a women or anyone else"<br/>Very disappointed,<br/>I will surely never visit and for sure will spread the word of being careful about the Billings for anyone who is going there.

Amazing food with super slow service.. We ordered veg pizza.. It came nearly after an hour from our entry but quality was very good.. Mix fruit lassi was super duper delicious.. Fresh fruit juices are added with sugar.. Afternoon view was priceless from the edge of first deck of the shack with sound of waves.. Slow service made the mockery of otherwise a great experience. 5 stars for food. 6 stars for sea view and 1 star for service

Sit back n relax near the waves. (literally) Beautiful location to relish the true Goan experience of sea, sand, drink, dance and hookah. Even the mocktail (ginger +cranberry) was surprisingly gud! (that's sumthin for non-drinkers) too 😛 the cherry on the cake was a fire show on the waves that was quite trippy! People of all ages were spotted letting their hair down. Must visit place....

Enjoying a short stay in Goa made me realize that all the shacks next to beaches are mainly serving average food. The pricing is little here and there, but the food cooked hardly hits the taste-buds. The same scene happened in Cafe Lilliput. After hearing rave reviews about this place, we drove to Anjuna Beach to appreciate the sunset with drinks.<br/><br/>The sitting area was mostly free, so it was easier to get a table at the front. The plus is the sunset view with drinks. We were super hungry and went ahead with Veg Spring Roll, Garlic Bread with Cheese, and Pizza Tabasco with lots of Heineken. Veg Spring Roll was over-fried and left that greasy feeling in our mouth, we complained the server, but he never considered asking for a redo, while, on the other hand, Garlic Bread with Cheese and Pizza Tabasco were simple.<br/><br/>Although Sunset was there to keep us busy, good food could add up a lot more.

Creative mock tails and amazing view. Place is very loud, but that's everywhere in goa.<br/>I particularly loved the seating by anjuna beach.<br/><br/>People go for late night theme parties there which I missed.

The review would have to be split into two parts, one as a foodie, and another for the party lovers. Places like these attract more crowd for the parties hence most of the time, you don't judge them based on the food. But come what may, you gotta eat when you gotta eat.<br/><br/>We went here on a Saturday evening. The ambiance is amazing. Sit beach side, with the waves constantly making their presence felt. The music, the DJ and the floor are all amazing. We were a tad disappointed with the food though.<br/><br/>What I didn't like :<br/>Garlic bread<br/>Dal rice<br/>Bruschetta<br/><br/>What we did like, was the Brain freezer hookah. But in terms of food, it was a major disappointment. The garlic on the garlic bread was pretty much raw and it was horrible. The bruschetta was at least okay to have and so was the dal rice.<br/><br/>Why you should go there, is for a crazy night. The parties are insane. The atmosphere is such that it would bring a corpse to life and put dancing shoes on it. Lovely setting about the place, has seating arrangements facing the sea, and two more levels off the beach. The food is not good though for the pricing, the ginger ale mocktail however, was great! Service was slow but okay, I thankfully, didn't have to go through what most reviewers had to. But it scores huge for its ambience by night. With trance music pulsating for hours into the night that merge with the sound of the sea waves, and the strobes playing about all over the place, the experience it delivers is definitely worth having atleast once!

It was ok, nothing great or out of the world... The only attraction is the location. Since it is located right at the beach where you can sit and sip and eat overlooking the waves. They really need to either renovate or at least maintain the place a bit. The menu cards were oily and needed a through cleaning with detol! The pizza we ordered was yummy but oregano dene me bade kanjoos hai!!!

I recently visited this cafe with my friends on the weekend afternoon. The ambience was fine not great though. Also they don’t even know how to make a lemon juice/lemonade. Garlic bread was really bad in taste. Service was really poor & slow. I am giving a 5 not on the basis of the food but of the experience that you get when you visit this place. Situated right on the Anjuna beach, this place becomes a fantasy after the sunset. Just sit on their beach seating area and have a glass of wine listening to the breezes of the ocean and this place will make you fall in love like the way it did to me. Zomato reviews claim that this place is among the hottest nightspots in Goa. However, my experience rates this place as DOWNRIGHT PATHETIC.<br/><br/>First, lets talk about ambience. The place is stinky, shady, furniture's are cheap plastic damaged by sun. Basically they don't care how their customers feel at their place.<br/><br/>Now let's talk about staff and service. If you're group of stags dont think of coming this place your night will be ruined, staff ll discriminate you for being single. If you are group of girls you ll end up feeling unsafe. What I found about their staff is they are extremely rude no matter what. They will put your esteem to ground with their baseless arguments. For example, If you have checked in to the place, ordered food and just step down to enjoy by the sea beach, staff ll not allow you to come back. You ll have to drain all your energy to convince them to be kind and allow you. I mean then why is your place even by sea side?<br/><br/>Food, is nothing special. Mandate is to wait for an hour. You can actually go fishing, catch the fish and cook it in all the time you spend waiting.<br/><br/>Lets talk about music, well they call it tranc, lol. The place which could make your whole trip a worst experience. We went there and during payment there was some issue due to cash, we asked them for paytm, online transfer, card swipe and any digital option for just Rs. 500 as cash shortage from total bill amount.<br/>The staff started shouting on us and they called there bouncers who started beating me and my frnd due not having total amount of cash<br/>One of the staff slapped a girl too who was with us and she was just trying to stop them.<br/>This cafe management should be put behind bars.

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star ! When u r in a place like Goa and if you want to spoil ur fun then do visit this horrendous place ! I was utterly disappointed and left shocked by the treatment of the staff ! Was in Goa and what better place to party other than Anjuna beach ! I along with couple of friends of mine went to this terrible place .....paid 500 for the entry fee and went inside the cafe ....what happened next was not something I had anticipated ! The expectations were really high while we entered the place. However the word hospitality lost its sheen at Lilliput. We were treated badly by the management and staff both. I think they do not have resources in place to manage extra demand which , for a service orientated business, is very critical. They have to really work hard to improve in almost everything that a restaurant offers.<br/><br/>A strict NO NO for anyone who is contemplating visiting this place.

Most unprofessional staff, most unsafe place to be, they don't have any ethics or respect towards the customer, why are they without the customer- nothing!!! Worst nightmare.. the place has no ethical staff, all goons !! U say something n they will threaten u even without knowing the whole thing, they will gather up with all third goons n start to disrespect u n ur family.. they should visit some good hotel n restaurant where they provide such warm welcome to customer even in odd situations... ABSOLUTE WASTE of a place. HORRID TIME here. Full of GOONS. No one cares about you here. Management, Waiters, etc. are downright pathetic. Starting from the guy charging 500 bucks for entry to the waiters who are shameless enough to say in your face that you are expected to wait (since you are a Stag), I could not find a single positive thing about this place.<br/><br/>Apart from the service, if I talk about the music and ambience, even this place couldn't manage to put these essentials into place. Music was loud and was probably rendering services to a parallel world and about ambience if you see waiters tussling near you, the whole point of scoring on this parameter extincts there as well. On top of all these, they don't practice the basic process of courtesy of offering Menu to their customers either.<br/><br/>

Fail place. Prefer some other place. Not a good place at all. Saddest thing happened in a while.Entry fees cheap tough but no cover for entry. DJ is bad. Lame people all around. PS: Don't spoil Goa trip.

Absolutely DISGUSTING experience ! Went there with a couple of friends of mine....paid 500 bucks entry free....and then went inside looking forward to the evening ahead of us ! But we were unaware of what was about to come ! All hell loose ! We waited for a one whole hour and no one came attend us ! We requested a couple of waiters to take our orders but no one paid a heed ! We Patiently waited but not even one single waiter turned up ! Hungry and frustrated we went to the reception of complain of the service but were taken aback by the rude and unprofessional behavior of the staff! One of the staff members even raised is voice and hand to hit us ! We were in utter shock by this kind of treatment ! Been to many places in Goa but this was the WORST ! Our evening was SPOILED and we left the place feeling disgusted and looted of our money and time ! This place is not even worth a single star ! No one should ever go through this kind of treatment!

WORST POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Writing this review sitting at this place, it has been 1 hour and no one has cared to take our order even. Staff is extremely rude, unwelcoming, non-cooperative and even THREATENED to HIT us when we complained of no one taking our order since the past one hour. That violence seemed to come surprisingly easy to him. They pointed out that they had less staff and we told them it is their problem and they had taken 500 rs per person for STAG entry. Suddenly, the manager turned VIOLENT, his hands lifted and threatened to hit us out of pure impulse, and yes we were only complaining of their service which I believe we are entitled to when we have paid 500 bucks per head for Stag entry. SHOCKING NATURE.<br/><br/>A special word for the guy who was in charge of looting us(500 per stag entry) and the GOON he called on - You should be ashamed of yourself when you are engaged in a supposedly so-called tourism industry, which I am sure you have no idea how to manage and nurture. Did not order any food as the waiter never came to take an order and we left the place with bad memories.<br/><br/>Please do not visit this place for a harrowing experience and if Zomato gave an option to give (-5) I would have surely given. How horrible this place is !<br/><br/>They charge you an entry fee which is more dynamic and volatile than Sensex, the quality of service that you get inside is poorer than that of the poorest possible government service, they misbehave with you when you raise your concerns too.<br/><br/>Why not to go to this place?<br/><br/>The ambience is below par - The best you see can waiter tussling with each other on some lame menu related issue.<br/>The entry fee they charge in the name of an event, goes down to the drain - There is no event per se, only some manual abuse, howls, etc can be experienced.<br/>They do not have anything special rather the experience is always a pain - They dont even serve you water.<br/>Moreover there are far better places in Goa than this - Try Curlies, Bola Loka , etc<br/><br/>So to all those people who are planning to go to Goa, please make this a point that you don't go to this place. Don't stain your Goa Trip with petrifying experiences of this place.<br/><br/>Also I would recommend Zomato to not de-associate itself with this place, so that people/visitors/tourists/onlookers are made aware of the<br/>other side of the scale not only the high rated ones.

Service is very poor. Visited on a Saturday night, place was completely dead. Had to wait for 45mins before a waiter recognised , nobody was attending our table. Later waited 30 more mins before the first round of drinks was served.<br/>Wouldn't recommend groups with girls.

This is a very nice and beautiful place located on the sea side great ambience. Even the songs they played were in par with the ambience.<br/>The food and the drinks were good.<br/>The price is little on the higher side but considering the ambience its worth it :)<br/>I would definitely recommend this place for evening drinks.
