Review Sita Pure Veg Restaurant - Anjuna

Rajan Kashyap
You can get all kind of North Indian and South Indian breakfast options. The taste is good, the ambience is ok. Service time gets delayed if it is full. Do try their Aloo Paratha and Butter Masala Dosa. Overall, a decent place to get your stomach full if you don't want to start your day with Pizza or Fries.

A very good place to eat. The prices were very good and the taste of the food was also very good. If you are near vagator or Anjuna you must visit this place.

Basic restaurant offering veg food. Pav bhaji, Puri bhaji were our orders and we liked them. Opens up early for breakfast as well (I believe around 7 or 8 AM).

Very reasonable and good food served here. Basic dhaba kind of place. Parking is available . North Indian South India food is served. Staff is good and service is fast. If you are looking for a cheaper option to eat. This is the place.

“Best option for Pure Veg and south Indian food” On the way to Vagator beach, this restaurant is adjacent to the Bharat Petroleum and has sufficient parking space. Worth visiting if you are looking for a Vegetarian only hotel or you want to have some south Indian dishes and do not want to go to any of the Udupi restaurants available around this place. Good place for breakfast

One of the popular places around in Vagator for pure vegetarian food. On my first visit, I was the only one at the restaurant. Service was prompt. Second visit, it was a Saturday, and it was packed. Waited for 15 minutes for somebody to come and take order. Waited....Waited...Waited....Went to the counter and placed the order. Food tasted good. Will visit again, if around.

I loved the food here. It was simple and affordable. I had breakfast and I can't fault any food item. The tea and coffee, both were just divine. You can definitely stop by here to have good and affordable food.

The best pure veg restaurant in Vagator-Anjuna area. Very good thali and many kinds of Dosas and indian curries. Reasonable prices and clean.

Well , we stopped here for breakfast while we waited for our hotel to get our rooms ready , had a quick coffee and a dosa and pav bhaji and the food was okay , the place looks clean but the coffee wasn’t great as expected considering it seemed like a South Indian place and I had ordered a filter coffee ,
Eat here if you can’t wait to find the next joint or are in a hurry or you just want to eat vegetarian .
Prices are reasonable and service was quick

Quite a good service whether it is pure veg so there are a lot of vegetarian options if you want to have a reasonable breakfast just go over there. I went to Goa and I had my breakfast over it is in North Goa

The service at this place is worse than minus five. Ordered idlis at around 10.30, half an hour later the waiter tells me that order something else. i asked why, he said time lagega, i asked him how much time, he said 15 minutes, i didnt mind waiting for another 15 minutes. The waiter comes back after 15 mins and says idli ka atta khatam ho gaya... i complained to the owners at the counter that at least the staff could have saved me entire 45 minutes.... the owners were not bothered to say sorry or if they really cared. They didnt even acknowledge my presence!!!!

Ridiculous place.

Finding good vegetarian food in Goa is a big task . Noticed this place right after refueling our car at the Bharat Petroleum - Petrol Pump/bunk . The location of this restaurant is strategic.

I had high hopes considering that they’re a pure veg eatery and although the food was average - we still ended up eating here a bunch of times . Chai is good . have tried their pav bhaji , chai , sandwich , masala dosa , Dal tadka , kadhai paneer - naan & poori sabzi .

The place is clean but the service is below average. The prices are very reasonable .

The place seems like a decent one if you're interested in pure vegetarian food - the thing is, to find vegetarian food in Goa is difficult and to find good vegetarian food - close to impossible. So, make do with what you can get your hands. Eating here was such an endeavour. We ordered the very basic mix veg and dal fry which turned out to be borderline okayish. I'd have given it 2.5 but then again, I can't, and I really don't feel it deserves a 3.
Lesson learnt - don't go around looking for good cheap vegetarian food in Goa - there's none!

Not so good experience at all, worst place visited in Goa, food quality was not that good, service is also very poor, waiters are busy chanting around, try to avoid get some other vegetarian restaurant
Prathikh
I reached the restaurant half an hour before closing and asked them if they would be able to serve me food properly within the half an hour duration. They said that they can easily serve me. I ordered one dosa after which these guys didn't allow me to order another saying that it's closing time. Had to leave hungry.

Worst food bad service no politeness in people no attitude of welcoming guests. Bad experience. Dont go here unless u have no option. We ordered Pav bhaji and dal khichadi. Less than average food.

Very bad food. Worst service. Over n above the waiters are rude.. we visited this place as the reviews were good but it was a bad choice for us.

This place was quite close to d resort we were staying in. Being a vegetarian, this place made life easy for us in Goa. Decent food. Lots of options, we played safe by eating toast-butter-jam for breakfast, Cheese Pau Bhaji, Roti , Kadai Paneer, Masala Papad. If ur staying in d vicinity of Vagator/Anjuna and looking for veg food,do try this place. It gets crowded during dinner time. Prices r high for d ambience they offer.

This place was a surprise for us while we lost our way in Goa during heavy monsoons. The place is only good for south indian. We ordered dosa, honey chilli potato, idli and curd rice. Honey chilli potato was pathetic but south indian was good. The place is spacious inside as well outside with huge parking space.

Not sure why I decided to review this place but nevertheless I did. This place was right outside our hotel and we had breakfast on all days at this place. We tried idlis, couple of dosas .. different types and all tasted really good. The masala tea was also different from what I have tried before. The price is cheap. Excellent place for good breakfast...not ratng this place for Ambience or service..

We were on a 4 day road trip to Goa. We started our trip at 12 in the night and reached Goa at around 11 am. Now that we drove for 12 straight hours, we were craving for food and that to for north Indian food...

So our hunt for the restro began. We came across this place and decided to give a try.

Neat n clean place & friendly staffs.

We ordered - dal tadka, bhindi fry, khana masala, jeera rice , butter naam & veg raita . (As I said, we were craving for a north Indian food)

And and and, the food was amazing. 4/5
If you ever want to have north Indian food in Goa, this is the place for you :)
After stuffing ourselves with sea food for a couple of days decided to have vegetarian for a break. This place being the closest for us opted to dine here.
Gave the order of Dum aaloo Punjabi, dal fry and fresh orange sweet lime juice. Our waiter did not note down the entire order and hence we were not served the dal. After reminding the waiter about it we got a very rude reply saying we should have ordered it before (which we actually did order). Anyways a lot of argument and waiting around we did get the dal and it was worth the effort. Aaloo was coated with some kind of batter before cooking it in the curry and hence tasted really yumm. They also server tawa rotis which was big relief for us as it's not available easily at many places. Food is great here but never order any kind of juice. It was so diluted that none of us could finish it. I would have given much higher rating but the attitude of staff is very upsetting here.

Ambience: Okay.
Quality of food: Okay
Service: Good.
Taste of food: Okay. Tried Pav Bhaji, Alu Puri and veg cheese sandwich. Weird taste of sandwich.
Prices: Very economical.

Food is ok. But the place stinks- I mean literally smells. That's really off putting, no matter how good the food is. And worse, it smells of toilets.
I've been here a number of times. The uttapam and dosa are nice. Veg thali is passable.
But the smell...eww

I was very happy (being a pure veg guy) to see a pure veg restaurant in Goa, but was equally disappointed while leaving the restaurant. The food quality was very good but the service and the staff's behaviour was pathetic. If not for food, I would have rated them the least.

When in Anjuna and you want standard south Indian dosa, idly for the right price this is it. I found dosa here to be better then Navtara and other south indian family spots, service good, and very easy on the pocket. I love the spinach dosa. They do good fresh juice too. A regular spot of mine.

Located just next to Anjuna petrol pump.. Has sufficient parking space.. Food was good and above average but cleanliness and services was missing.. They have few tables setup outside the hotel for open dining too.. Had my breakfast and lunch here.. The place was pretty full during late afternoon.. Don't expect much like ambience and fine dining.. Can go only for food if your budget is limited and have no option..
