We visited goa with family this week. While walking towards the beach from our hotel we saw this place and went there very random. My kids loved the ambience and they were enjoying playing pool,ludo and jhinga while waiting for the food. Food took lil bit of time but was made fresh. Owner was soft spoken she also guided us with lot of other tourist places. Highly recommend this place for brunches.

Found this place is the Main Street of anjuna towards beach road. Staffs are very helpful and polite. Food was average could be better. Loved an ambience.

The dinner was outstanding! Good quantity. The taste was also great700. The ambience was good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quick and tasty bite to eat.

Square sparrow is one of the many restaurants located at Anjuna but this one would be a great pick. Visited this place with my friend during lunch hours. Their cuisine includes north indian, continental and more. Made sure I something from the various cuisines. So in vegeterian, ordered babycorn chilly. The portion was really good can be shared easily by 2-3 people. Next I tried fish ajwani in the non veg starters, tandoor flavour fish with nice texture too. This one was my friends favourite. For mains, tried their honey baked mushrooms, it’s a cheesy affair and a great main course in itself as it comes with rice, more like a creamy pot meal. Also tried mirch paratha with chicken saag wala, luscious gravy paired best with mirch paratha. For drinks, tried a mocktail freezy watermelon and a cocktail. Place is spacious with insta worthy corners. They also have hookhah available and usually have offers on dine in. Best place for tourists

For starters, I tried out their Signature Mushroom Involtini. For those who don’t know, involtini is an Italian word for various small bites of food consisting of some sort of outer layer wrapped around a filling, this dish was super flavourful and the cheese melt was perfect! Highly recommend trying this, as this dish (as per the quantity) is enough for 5 people! Their Tequila Chicken, another signature dish, was loaded with bright Southwestern flavours, the tequila is mild & the chicken isn’t too spicy too! Overall, a fun dish. I also tried their Alfredo Chicken Pasta along with the Chicken in Pepper Garlic Sauce Sizzler. Nothing spells comfort like a good buttery bowl of pasta, along with roasted garlic bread. Coming to the sizzler, the chicken was perfectly cooked leaving behind a creamy taste at every bite! It consisted of perfectly steamed veggies, crisp fries and bed of rich herbed rice! A must try if you love sizzlers! ❤️ Honestly, the place and the vibe may be a little noisy, and the place may get a little dirty (as it is located right on the road + it’s a very happening street with a lot of tourists screaming) it was a nice experience, the staff was really hospitable. To be honest, the quantity of the food served there is too much, making it ideal for big groups or family get togethers! 😍 PS: Another tip, please ask the waiter / staff about the seafood before placing the order if it’s fresh or no, to be on the safe side. :) Make sure to save this post and visit them whenever you’re in and around #Anjuna for a super affordable & good quantity meals! ✨

We bookind this place on zomato din out and had a great time. Owner of the place and staffs were very friendly. They also guided us about which all places to visit. We have sea food platter which was very delicious and price was basic. Overall place has got a vibe. Wish you all the best.

Located near Anjuna beach, this is an amazing place to spend time with friends. We went here for lunch. The ambience is really aesthetic and the staff is well trained. Would recommend to try their vodka based cocktails. Veg Crispy was super delicious and a must try here. Corn Palak with Naan was a good option.

Happened to visit this place randomly seeing the ambience from outside and reviewing the ratings which was a good decision of trying the place out. Food was actually very good, with some descent music and a chillax ambience. One must definitely try out this place if you are in North Goa.

Great music, great vibe, open till late night. The food quality was good. Indian and chinese food are great. Continental could be better. The service was good and fast. The music they played created a great vibe. Egg curry and soups were great. The prices are reasonable. Overall a great experience.

If you are around Anjuna, go spot this restaurant located right on one of the main lanes there. The vibe of the place is very appealing with beautiful decor around and spacious seating. If you drop by evening for the live music then nothing like it! The sizzlers here are quite a hit amongst the crowd and currently they have an offer running wherein you get a beer free with the sizzlers. Apart from this dont miss out on their ‘Mushroom Involtini’ a classic preperation of stuffed mushrooms. Not to forget the quick service and very helpful staff. Square sparrow One of the best spots in goa to be at for party This place checks 10/10 when it comes to the vibe, the location and the food. Everything was so good that its a mist on your goa list. Was there with my friends and it was loved by all. From sizzler, fish to drinks everything was beyond delicious. Try to reserve a table and enjoy it fully. Square Sparrows is located in the heart of Anjuna. It is a lovely place with great Ambience. The music there is very soothing and they play great numbers. We tried the hot veg manchow soup as usual and i must tell u i have not had such amazing soup before. Just correct spices n taste n served very hot. For snacks we had Makka malai kebab and hot roasted chilli chicken. Both were very good n delicious. Coming to the mains we ordered a red thai curry with steam rice and a Chicken pepper garlic Sizzler. The sizzler was out of this world. Very hot served with mashed potatoes and french fries. The chicken was very tender n full of taste. It's definately recommended when u r at Square Sparrow. The service is very prompt and the staff is very generous. Square Sparrow Me and my friends had always been wanting to visit this place. The decor and the seating is so well done! They have placed some antiques as well, giving the place a quirky vibe. We ordered for a unique kinda starter- Tequila chicken, to try out what it's like. It was amazingly flavoured with Tequila, giving a tangy taste to the chicken. The pasta also was very well flavoured and delicious! Both mocktails and cocktails are amazing, definitely must trys! Looking forward to visiting again to try more items from their menu.

Had been to this amazing place for lunch and absolutely loved it! The open seating arrangement is beautiful. They have good options for Vegetarians too! This pretty little cafe in Anjuna is a hidden gem serving some amazing food. Their quality and quantity is top notch. We tried a couple of dishes here and absolutely loved everything. Dishes we tried are Golden Tequila Chicken, Thai Chilli Basil Fish Stir Fry, Lemon Butter Garlic Sauce Calamari Sizzlers, Chicken Lasagna Pasta, KitKat Shake and Vietnamese Cold Coffee. So I went to goa in January this year and visited this place as I have a heard a lot about this place. We ordered baked nachos and white sauce pasta and one soft drink I guess . The vibes and food was good at this place . This is an open cafe near anjuna . Everything was good but I found the quantity was little less

Loved the open ambience. Greaaat food. They played our choice of music. Thai red curry was really really good. Also, I had ordered a watermelon cocktail, it was really good. Overall expierience was superb.

Square sparrow Goa is a cute little restaurant in Anjuna. Their food turned out to be very good to my surprise! I had the Pinacolada abs Californian mojito aa my drinks option. For the meal I had the, Crispy Mushroom cap, Murgh dum handi tikka, Prawns butter garlic sizzler and the Lamb chops in rosemary sauce. The mushrooms were certainly the star dish! Tasty food, decent ambience and quick service is what I would describe my experience there as!

Don't bother coming to this place. The food is really bad. When we complained about stale cheese on the pizza, one person from staff tasted it and said that's how cheese tastes 😑 All other food items were below average in taster and even French Fries were too oily and probably over cooked.

The North Indian here is amazing. I and my friends came here thrice on our trip. The ambience is great and prices easy on the pocket. We had the paneer tikka masala, butter roti, dal tadka and jeera rice. Everything was perfect. This place is a must visit 😍

I visited during Christmas week. Beautiful cafe on main Anjuna beach road which cant be missed. It was a fabulous experience with delicious food and very friendly staff with live music. Inspite of so much rush we got the service very fast and Murg Dum tikka, Oreo and KitKat shake was out of the world. Try cheesecake also,it the best I had tried so far.5/5 for everything. Highly recommended when in Goa and Anjuna

We visited during new year , it was wonderful experience with great food , breathtaking ambience , live music and lovely crowd with awesome vibes . Staff is very courteous with smile on their face all in one had a great experience . Must try Murg dum tikka kebab ( it is somewhat sweet ) . Anyone who likes spicy food must try Chicken Chingaari . I suggest you to visit in Square Sparrow if you are in Anjuna serving with Thai , Indian , Continental, Oriental and Italian food .

The restaurant denied zomato gold and said it is not valid 'today'. It was nowhere mentioned in their restaurant anywhere.

The food was really delicious. The ambience is really good. Service was decent. It's a very good budget restaurant. Has a good variety of cuisine to cater to many. Would recommend if anyone in the Arpora Anjuna area.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.<br/><br/>The staff wasn't interested in serving us. They were not welcoming. Hardly anyone smiled. The food items which should have been served together were served one after the other after we asked multiple times.<br/><br/>The buttermilk was stale and had a very bad taste. The paratha and fresh juice were the only good experience we had.<br/><br/>Suggestions:<br/>• Black coffee, brown bread should be added to the menu.<br/>• Ice cubes can be served in a ice box with ice picking tongs.<br/>• The toasts should be toasted by default. It was served right out of the packets.

Must visit place if you are staying near Anjuna, Baga, Calungate. Great staff and lip smacking food. We tried American breakfast (pancake, bacon, potato wedges, juice, sausage, coffee, fresh fruits) and one night for dinner we tried garlic noodles, chicken handi and for dessert we tried cheesecake. Amazing experience. The live musician we had on the night of 11th December 2019 was amazing.<br/><br/>One of the few places in Goa which accepts Zomato Gold. All in all, it was a beautiful experience.

The square sparrow restaurant is a really cool place that served various kinds of cuisines. I loved each & every dish that I ordered. My most favorite was their crispy five spice veggies. Lovely place right on the main road. Courteous staff. Amazing ambience. However, all of this is beat by the food they serve. Chef Hossain churns out delicacies just like that and a minimal wait period for the hippes with munchies. Portion size is something you cant complain about either. Loved it absolutely.

Square sparrow is an open air, spacious, multicuisine restobar, located on the busy streets of Anjuna. They have an indoor as well as an outdoor dinning space. The outdoor space has relaxed and chilled out ambience with an open bar serving a variety of drinks, whereas the indoor space has a more colorful and quirky vibe to it. The menu consists of veg as well as non veg dishes, focusing on North Indian, Italian, Continental, Oriental delicacies along with a limited breakfast menu. The quality and quantity of the dishes are quite satisfying with a good service and polite staff. The rates are above moderate.<br/>.<br/>Coming to the food, for starters I really enjoyed the handi murg dum tikka which was really creamy and flavorful with a lovely presentation. A must try.<br/>The crispy mushroom caps served with a tangy sauce, totally went by its name.They were crispy on the outside with a soft and creamy texture of the mushroom and cheese on the inside, making the dish more appetizing and visually pleasing too.<br/>Loved the freshly cooked and marinated kingfish rawa fry and the panko crusted prawns which was crunchy and flavorsome. However, the thin crust garden garden pizza was a miss.<br/><br/>Coming to the mains, tried the orange chicken breast from the continental cuisine served with grilled vegetables and mashed patato. The dish was average, but could do better, however the orange sauce served was quite pleasing. The garlic cheese naan was also delectable.<br/>The winner for the mains for me was the plain rice with vegetarian Thai green gravy. The curry was fresh and zinging with taste, plus it was creamy with a right amount herbs and spices. The Thai green curry is also available in nonveg.A must try<br/>.<br/>The bar menu serves a range of drinks, my personal favorite was the envy killer, which was a mix of bourbon wishkey, peach syrup and lime.

A few days ago we visited Square Sparrow, a multi cuisine restaurant located along the Anjuna Beach road. Having heard a lot about their food, we were keen on trying some of what they had to offer. As the restaurant is located along the road, it gets a little noisy. But the prompt service and courteous staff will make sure you have a good experience. Also, the rates are quite good! Definitely worth a visit.<br/><br/>We tried the following:<br/>1) Drinks- Red Wine Sangria, Thai Martini<br/>2) Starters- Handi Murgh Dum Tikka, Kingfish Rava Fry, Crispy Mushroom Caps, Garden Garden Pizza, Panko Crusted Prawns<br/>3) Mains- Orange Chicken Breast, Cheese Garlic Naan, Paneer Shashlik, Thai Green Curry, Plain Rice<br/><br/>The drinks we had were a miss and need improvement.<br/>We had a few favourites though among the dishes. The tikka (well marinated, soft and delicious), mushroom caps and prawns (super crispy), cheese naan (stuffed with cheese, an absolute must try) and the green curry. Having said that, the orange chicken was another down point as the chicken was overcooked and the sauce was too acidic, both very fixable things and hopefully will be.

We went there specially to have food and we loved it. Food there made our day, we were craving for pizza since 2 days. And these guys nailed it. We also ordered mashrooms, one of the best we had. We ordered two mocktails both were so smoothing and satisfying. Staff is very good, owner id also amazing lady. Ambience is also lovely. Unforgettable experience.

Gave it a try based on the rating.<br/>Ambience - nice small place with music. 4/5<br/>Service - even though there weren’t many people at the time that I visited but the waiter did get confused twice or thrice. Otherwise, the staff was nice. 3/5<br/>Food - ordered Long Island ice tea, cold coffee, kitkat shake, veg noodles, bruschetta, nachos, fish sizzler. LIT was great and same was the case with cold coffee & shake. Definitely a 5 on 5. Veg noodles were a little oily but tasted good. Bruschetta was ok in terms of taste but it wasn’t really a bruschetta. Veg loaded nachos had tomato sauce but tasted ok. Sizzler was pretty ok in terms of quality. Overall, 4/5

Great food and Decent ambience. Cafe was although understaffed so the service was not the best.

The chicken dish was presented in a traditional handi ( earthenware) and was quite succulent and full of flavors. Also the garlic cheese naan was super soft and loaded with cheese.<br/>However the butter garlic prawns could have been little better.<br/>Overall a great experience!

Small but nice place. There are plenty of places like this in Goa but The Square Sparrow stands out. The food is really good, portion size and taste. The staff was courteous and music was perfect. It's not very expensive. So, in one of your Goa trips, if you're done with eating lunch and dinner at expensive cafés, you can go there and have some Dal makhni and simple tawa roti as well.

It's not very difficult to locate this place when you pass by it on the road. It is brightly lit and is pretty huge with an outside as well as inside seating area. The place was well lit and came across as a pretty casual one. It looked more like a place in Mumbai than in Goa, though.<br/><br/>We were expecting a good meal here but that did not turn out quite to be the case. We started off with the Chilly Paneer and it was the most rubbery paneer that we have ever had. The coating and flavors were decent but the paneer which was the main ingredient of the dish put off the whole dish.<br/><br/>We ordered the Freeze Watermelon to go with it and this was pretty good. The flavor was luscious and refreshing and had a slight hint of mint which made it into a perfect summer drink. It had just the right amount of ice and this drink was the one thing that we really enjoyed.<br/><br/>We had ordered the Paneer Shashlik Sizzler and this one had the same problem. The paneer was rubbery and the shashlik was not spicy at all. It was a very bland gravy served atop the veggies. We literally had to send this one back.<br/><br/>We even tried their Tandoori Mushrooms. These were good. The mushrooms were juicy and the flavor of tandoor was spicy and marinated very well on the mushrooms. This was served with a side of green mint chutney and we ended up ordering this twice since everything else was almost inedible.<br/><br/>The Paneer Tikka Masala had a spicy and tangy gravy. It was decent enough but again, we couldn't get ourselves to eat the paneer. This one however, was way better than the other dishes that we had ordered and we paired it with a Roomali Roti and Naan.<br/><br/>We finally ended up ordering the simplest dish, Jeera Rice and Dal Fry and this one came to our rescue. We finally had something in our stomach to get on and we left the place quite unhappy with our experience.<br/><br/>The place looks good and maybe if their food tasted just as good, the place wouldn't find itself to be empty on a Sunday evening.<br/><br/>Ambience: 4/5<br/>Food: 3/5<br/>Service: 3.5/5

It’s a cute little place on a winding street in Anjuna, and we went there only because of the rating on Zomato. Upon reaching, we were /not/ greeted by a very disinterested employee, who was adamant on not looking at prospective customers. <br/>The food took more than 30 minutes to arrive (in a completely empty restaurant) and was some of the worst I’ve ever had. We had the English breakfast and the American breakfast. Both were extremely disappointing, from burned bread to ketchup beans to a “masala chai” made with only water and no masala. <br/>Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Trust me the BUTTER GARLIC PRAWNS were the best in goa and the best prawn i had ever had. It had fresh prawns with thick butter garlic sauce which was so soothing to the taste buds and giving an excellent feel to the sea food. The next i had was CRISPY HONEY CHICKEN which was a total waste of money as the chicken was dipped in the honey and served . It was too sweet and was waste. The masala peanut comes in a large quantity and is really taste and adds taste to the beer as well.

I went to square sparrow for dinner today, I liked the ambience and music as well and a the set up was well done. They do have an indoor space but is closed temporarily. The outdoors is quiet good but the owner of the place should realise the temporary roofing’s are meant for non rainy seasons and it really doesn’t look good when there’s leakage from most of the places while you eat. And there’s water everywhere on the floor. That’s the only thing that I didn’t like. <br/>Apart from that the staff is courteous and patient and respond politely. <br/>Coming to the food, we ordered Paneer mexicana, fish and chips, Butter garlic calamari, veg biryani, virgin mojito, mandarin magic. <br/>Paneer Mexicana was the star of all, the gravy was amazing and the paneer was well marinated and tasted just perfect. <br/>Fish and chips because bebu loves her fries, the fish was well crusted and perfected fried and the dip complimented it quiet well. Simple and classy. <br/>Butter garlic squids were not really great or different, I didn’t get the taste of garlic much but the quantity of butter was 😍 and the sauce was nice and creamy. <br/>Veg biryani was nice and rich but wasn’t spicy at all. Was more like sweet rice. <br/>Mojito’s were good. Mandarin magic was 😍😍🔥 <br/>I also liked that they served cranberry juice in the end, which was complementary.<br/>Quantity of the food was good and filling and reasonably priced as well.

A cute and decent place to have good food...<br/><br/>The ambiance is good and the food is excellent...<br/><br/>White sauce pasta was the best...<br/><br/>My friends ordered a lobster and some other seafood snacks and loved every bit of it.

We stopped here for a quick meal but ended up ordering only a starter , it was raining , the tables were not cleaned up as previous diners leftovers were everywhere , puddles of water and mosquitoes greeted us , so we made a hasty exit , the jalapeño cheese poppers tasted decent but I think that the mosquitoes were bothering us too much for us to figure out much else.

Cozy and colourful dinner place... With modern interiors, vibrant lights and plenty of sitting area this cafe serves one of the best pizzas we've had recently. Head over to have a gala time with friends and family.

We had been here in off season July 19. This place serves really good food and good presentation. I had ordered for Golden Tequilla chicken and the taste is really amazing. It's not a spicy dish but tastes really good. And the price is also decent compared to other beach side shacks. Over all a good experience.

You can find a variety of sea-food restaurants in Goa but if you love chicken, you’re definitely going to have problems in finding a good restaurant. Beach shacks serve stale chicken flesh. <br/><br/>Then, while travelling to South Anjuna, we drove past this beautiful restaurant. The ambiance was really good, it is has an open seating area, with jazz music going on. They have a cute bar too!<br/><br/>Coming to food, I just loved the Chicken Sizzlers! This restaurant literally made my day by serving the delicious food that I craved for.<br/><br/>We ordered Peri Peri Chicken Sizzler with Garlic Rice and French fries. The chicken was soft, fresh, perfectly cooked and had a nice spicy touch to it. The rice had perfect amount of veggies, and do I need to say something about the fresh cripsy fries?<br/><br/>I visited this again on the last day of our trip, just to sunk in the delicious taste of chicken sizzler.<br/>This time we ordered Garlic Chicken Sizzler with rice and mashed potatoes. I am very choosy about mashed potatoes, I always leave the mashed potato part in any meal. But here it was different. The mashed potatoes had a flavour just like having white sauce pasta. It tasted amazingly good, I fell in love with the mashed potatoes here.<br/>Do try the meal with mashed potatoes, you’re gonna love it.<br/><br/>Sorry guys I was having such good time that I ordered beers, didn’t try their drinks.<br/><br/>And my favourite part, they serve the best desserts in Goa! I had a chocolate pastry and yummy it was! I visited Goa in jan but I still miss their chocolate pastry. 😶 The texture was great and it had a chocolate ball on top that was made of dark chocolate powder. I’m still finding the same in Delhi. 😂<br/><br/>To top to the welcoming ambiance and great food, the manager here is really good. He made sure we had a good time and was a very sweet person to talk with. When I visit Goa again, I’ll take a hotel near the restaurant so that I can have good food throughout my trip. 😛<br/><br/><br/>

This place is lovely and petite. It has indoor seating which is super cute and the outdoor seating possess ferry lights and a bar which enhances the ambiance by a mile. We faced no trouble finding a table. The starters we're amazing. For main course we had ordered pubjabi dishes which were okay. Non veg dishes were luscious and sumptuous.

Restaurant was located at very good and reachable place. Well managed and lot of options to eat. All the staff were very much friendly. Ambience is very much amazing and the food was top most. Ordered Tadka dal and kadai paneer jeera rice, served in just 10-15 mins and taste was awesome. Will definitely visit this amazing restaurant again and will recommend to my friends as well.

An amazing place in goa....everything starting from the interiors, the staff, the food its so nice..<br/>I guess they serve you the best food in goa.<br/>What i liked most is their interiors.<br/>Guys if you are planning for goa you must visit this place which is located hardly 1.5kms from anjuna beach..<br/>We had ordered pasta arabiatta and paneer tikka pizza..trust me they wer delicious..

Went here for brunch, the place was completely empty so got a table right away. We ordered a bunch of omelettes, tea, poori bhaji, chopsuey and noodles of different kinds. The food was good, we got our order within 20min or so. One thing that I didn't like was that the omelettes didn't come with bread or toast, we had to order that seperately. Apart from that, not a bad experience.

Loved the ambience, the food and definitely the service. We ate there like hungry wolves stranded in a desert. Couldn’t even click pictures of all food items coz we couldn’t keep our hands off the food. Tried mix veg with butter roti in the vegetarian section. Vegetarian food in Goa could be this good was tough to imagine. All the other food items including the pizza, chicken starters, mocktails were on par with our taste standards. Cocktails were also made to perfection. But the thing that stole all the limelight after this heavy feast was one simple dessert. Firni. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ It sent us all in the ratatouille mode. That dessert was what made me write this big review in the first place. If you guys are around, do not miss this place🌷!!

Worst service and food ever. You will notice it's always empty.. After making me wait for 45 min they had the odasity to tell me it will take 10 more min. Never go there.
