Review Mama Momo Cafe - Arambol

Tastiest pockets of goodness on this side of the island! Facing the very popular fruit shop, you can watch people choosing their fruits while you ponder on the comings and goings of life. A perfect spot to people/traffic watch. I had the spinach and cheese steamed momo and they were perfect. Light and thin dumpling skin that held the cheesy juice and crunchy spinach perfectly. And the chilli chutney that comes with it lends an appetising kick to make you wanting more. So good!

After hearing about this place from almost 2-3 individuals I finally visited during my recent trip! And yes! The momos are WORTH THE HYPE! One of the bestest i have tried.. they can easily compete with fancy-gourmet style expensive dim-sums that you get at asian restaurants! I tried cheese chicken steamed momos! They were juicy and fresh with an authentic sauce. 3 stars for the atmosphere as it's always full and lacks seating space :D

Small authentic family cafe, serving Tibetan kitchen. Portions are big, serving is fast, though sometimes the owner is absent, because she is very busy running the place almost alone. Momos are really delicious, from very thin doe, like the best examples in Himalayas themselves) Good place to have a lunch if you got tired from indian kitchen.

Tried the veg momos here. The chutney was really yum. A cute small homely cafe in the lanes of arambol.

Yummiest momos and chutney served by friendly hosts. Veg momos were delicious. We also had Veg Thukpa which took time because the noodles are handmade by the host (amazing). Overall comfort food and great atmosphere. Would have all meals of the day from here if I return to Arambol.

Last year post. Always crowded. Could be a good thing sometimes and otherwise too. Momos could have been worked on though it was a different from the other momos I had eaten. Service is good, staff friendly. Varieties in breakfasts. All the franchises of this place seemed fine.

Tasty veg momos are to try here. Family run cafe with that kind of relaxed vibe.. not a rush and eat place please. At times old Goan hippies are there with music too..

Это кафе нам посоветовали друзья. Коротко: Момо на любой вкус, готовят их весьма неплохо) сесть в кафе - это просто удача))) очень маленькое помещение, 3 или 4 столика...

Момо очень вкусные, масала-чай отличный) Острота выше средней. Ценник бюджетный. Места там практически нет, очень душно внутри(вентилятор сломан) - лучше сесть снаружи. Очень неуютно - вокруг тебя всегда кто-то ходит. Обслуживания как такового нет - нужно ловить официанта на ходу. Посуда, кхм, грязновата. Если вы идете именно вкусно поесть и остальные недочеты вам не так важны, то норм. Если хочется некой приятной атмосферы - вам точно не сюда.

По мне так тут самые вкусные Чикен Момо. Хозяйка приятная непалка. Момо делают при тебе, и иногда приходиться ждать по 20-30 минут. Но это того стоит.

Действительно вкусные момо, они же пельмешки. Брали с собой, потому что сесть почти невозможно, всё заполнено, да и атмосфера очень, хм, индийская. 😄 Зато качество блюд на высоте. С удовольствием поели, что, увы, не часто случается с нами в Гоа. Работники приветливые, несмотря на загруженность, общаются очень дружелюбно.

Пробовали момо с тыквой и сыром, это было очень вкусно и сытно!
