By far the most authentic Goan that I have had in my life. They customise you fishes. They served tandoori bombil and surmai in coconut gravy as well as tandoori. Could visit this place again for experiencing goan.

This is the second outlet of Mum's Kitchen, the first being the one at Panaji.
This outlet is located inside Maravilha, a wonderful boutique property located at Assagao in North Goa, and serves authentic Goan cuisine.
We stayed at the Maravilha and had our breakfast , lunch and dinner at Mum's Kitchen.
The best part of food at Mum's Kitchen is the fact that it was homely and light. Predominantly, the menu is Non vegetarian, but it also has some good vegetarian dishes.
We especially loved their mushroom xacuti with Goan rice.
Overall, it's a place worth visiting, to experience good Goan food that will surely leave you smiling.

Tucked in peacefully in the heart of beautiful neighborhood of Assagao, Mum’s kitchen is a high end restauraunt serving quality home made Goanese food. The new location has beautiful pool and a fully functional bungalow resort (Maravilha Resort), stay as well. Property is beautifully done and staff is extremely professional and polite. I was given a tour as I waited for my food to arrive. The new rooms are stunning and spotless, I was tempted to just plunge in the pool! Property is stunning and clean with some beautiful artwork. Parking in ample. Assagao itself has become this quaint, upscale ( thanks to TV Industry), green, Goan neighborhood worth a drive and hop to different shops and restaurants. You can easily club this trip with Vegator beach.
Menu is extensive and has all a tourist can ask for, but what one should have for sure is seafood and Goan specialities.
Homestyle Goan food inspired by recipes collected from older Goan ladies hence the name Mums kitchen , the kitchen is generous on the spice. Try the rawa (semolina) fried Bombay duck and the spicy prawn recheado (a Portuguese-inspired spicy red masala paste). For those who like pig do try the sausage curry, served with fresh poi (the Goan bread like ciabatta). Though they did not have pomfret on stock they gave a generous portion of local fish. Baked to perfection in Racheado sauce, could not have had a better entree.
Nice to see culture and class going hand in hand at this beautiful place serving homemade Goan food.
I was humbly hinted to ‘enjoy Goanese food with your hands - it tastes better’. I did. It did as well.
Food is an experience share it, don’t rate it.

It's a really good restaurant ,great ambiance 💕the food is really authentic and full of flavours quantity is a bit for the given price🧐 but totally WORTH IT ,service is excellent ♥️
The food is very good and authentic. For a person from Goa it may appear that it's priced on the higher-end as it available at home, but if you're a tourist or someone who wants to know / taste authentic recipes with their local names this is a place to go.

This was a surprise find in Assagao! A branch of the older one in Miramar. Great food, home cooked taste, gentle ambience. A place to eat a leisurely meal, chat and spend a quiet afternoon with friends!
Authentic Goan food , being a vegetarian I was skeptical but this place has good vegetarian food as well .
