Most items were unavailable/ limited portions, though we were the only table at the time of ordering.
Service needs to be worked on a lot, waiters do not inform if a dish that was ordered is out of stock, while you sit and wait for the same , assuming it's being prepared.
Bartender whips out some amazing Spirits, go for his specials.
Pro tip: Either go to the bar & discuss your drink or call the bartender to the table as the waiter(s) was not at all familiar with the menu.
Food is good - starters are the highlight of the meal, but portions are small, so order in bulk 😀
Had a relaxing and comfortable stay at this property. Food at their restaurant is also very tasty, with good options!
I really enjoyed this place, I ate the off the Masala House menu. Great service, the staff were really helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant is in a gorgeous bungalow and the terrace has a garden outlook. Definitely worth checking out.

SEA is a stunningly beautiful restaurant housed in an old Goan Portuguese villa in Assagao. We visited at lunchtime on a weekend and the tastefully designed space and cool green outdoor area won my heart. I have a thing with old Goan homes and I cannot lie. I can imagine how it must transform into a beautifully romantic spot at night. Our appetites were whetted by the descriptions of the food, and without further delay, we placed an order for starters. We tried the Ghee roast black pepper mutton, Black pepper chicken with long beans, and the Vietnamese spring rolls. Each one of these dishes was so good!- The burst of rich flavour in the mutton ghee roast, the refreshing and fresh Chicken salad, and the crispy and succulent Spring rolls. For the mains, we tried the Sri Lankan Elu maas curry with Malabar parotta and Malay Chicken Korma with Roti Jala. I loved the idea of eating edible doilies, at least that's how pretty it looked ;) Having said that, the true Malabar girl in me would choose the Malabar parotta and spicy mutton curry over and over again :) Finished the meal with the dessert of the day which was a classic fudgy brownie topped with Vanilla ice cream. The servers and attendants of the restaurant knew exactly when to walk over to the table and went to leave us alone. That’s something that adds to the dining experience. All in all, a meal full of delicious surprises and delights set in a gorgeous old Goan villa.
This place needs reservation, but do allow walk ins if the place is not crowded.
The ambiance is good, it's vibe always us to spend some more time there.
The food selection is good. I had thai prawns, it was cooked to a tender meat, it was mouth watering. The quantity was less though :)
Then had ordered Asian beef, this was also heavenly . A must try try dish at SEA.
The cutlery gives a different vibe to the restaurant. The candle lights gives a good feel.
We actually planned to go to a place next to sea, but but it was closed. So we just walked in the sea, and because it looked promising from outside and the security guard was very friendly and helpful. At the end we really liked the place. The ambience was nice with good music. Very friendly and helpful staff with excellent service. The food was great too, and especially the Indonesian beefrengang. Highly recommend this place. Great job guys! Keep going!
We had a lovely time at Sea.
It's great ambience and a nice place to hang out for a romantic dinner or a slow friends evening.
The music is light and non interfering so perfect for conversations.
The staff is very attentive and catered to all our customizations with a smile.
We ordered the Chicken Sukha, Mutton Ghee Roast, Black pepper Crab and Raw Pappaya Salad - everything was amazing.
We also had the baked yogurt for dessert - do try if you like yogurt based dishes!
Their cocktails are lovely as well.
But all dishes were small sized,so be prepared for it.
Great place to just unwind and chill when you want to get away from the Goa tourist madness. Tucked away in a small village area, the restaurant is located in an old Portuguese villa. You can choose to sit in the a.c or outside on the veranda. Both equally nice and comfortable. Also, the food was really good. Pair it up with one of the signature cocktails and you’re all set.
Excellent service, delicious veg and non-veg food, lovely ambiance with soft lighting and gentle music. Perfect for a romantic evening or quiet dinner. Quantity of each dish is exactly enough for 1 person. For dessert, I highly recommend the payasam.
You can now savour the best of South East Asian cuisine and North Indian cuisine under one roof. Sea and Masala House are both located at the beautiful villa in Assagao that was formerly home to only Sea.
I’d been a frequent visitor to Masala House when it was located in Porvorim, for their delish kebabs and while it’s sad that they’ve moved further away, the idea of enjoying food from two great restaurants at one time is reason enough to make the extra effort.
Located in one the quaint bylanes of Assagao, i was so happy to discover this place.
We were here for our dinner. The place has a nice cosy ambience enhanced by beautiful soft music playing in the background. They have both inside and outside seating options that you can choose from.
As we settled in, we ordered for some cocktails which were spot on. For small bites i will highly recommend their Prawns, lotus stem, and ghee roast mutton dishes. The desserts are equally amazing.
You get all this with a perfect service and great value for money. This should be one place you should visit if you are in Goa next.
The ambience was very nice. The staff was excellent warm and friendly. The food quality was very good. We had sizzlers which were amazing. The price was also reasonable. great place for chilling! 5 star for everything!
This place is absolutely fantastic. Service by Mr. Uniyal was spot on and the food COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER. the ambiance is spot on here was our order
1. Lotus stem - crispiest I've ever eaten
2. Gilled jumbo prawns - sweet prawns beautifully grilled. Just perfect
3. Shrilankan curry - I could eat this everyday of my life it was soooo good
4. Vegetable stew with appam - beautiful rich and perfectly balanced with the best appams you will ever have.
Trust me guys you won't regret this place if you are a true foodie.
Drinks were also good.
I visited this place today. There ambience is really nice it's a Portuguese villa which serves contemporary food and drinks. I really loved this place if you are around North side of goa you should definitely visit this place. I tried island spritzer, delight, Vietnamese prawns spring roll, spicy thai Basil chicken,Indonesian stir fried prawns with noodles and pineapple delight. Chicken and prawns were cooked to the perfection. And the flavours were so good. The best food I have ever tasted. I personally loved the Vietnamese prawns spring roll a must try dish if you ever visit this place. And most of the staff was really kind , all the safety measures were taken properly when we entered the checked the temperature and we were asked to sanitize our hands before entering.
Wow..had some awesome coastal food after long. Very happy with the service too. The baked prawns was to die for. And oh that ghee roast black pepper mutton 😍Definitely going back again.
Had a wholesome satisfying experience. The staff, notably Tapas, are very warm, efficient and focussed on delivering great service and customer experience. The food is delicious and new. The cocktails are innovative and refreshing. The bar tender Sonam does a great job. Chef Raja does an exemplary job of delivering the best. The unseen hand behind all this attention to detail is Jovin Pinto, the manager. SEA is worth any journey.
