A step inside this place will make u feel that u didn't make a mistake. The ambience is welcoming so is the staff. But most importantly is food is out of this world. In a very competitive market this is one of the best food places. If u reading this don't miss this place..its a must go.
The pizzas tastes as if was taken out of a oven from Italy...Highly recommended..!!

Following Hyekyong's Birthday week, we still felt like celebrating and indulging in more delicious food that we've been missing for a long time.
This time we went to @sillysoulscafe in #Assagao to try some of their #southeastasian cuisine.
The place is well prepared for the crazy rains of this monsoon. Safety measures are applied. But we went there for the food, so:
1. The Hazelnut Praline Dome is out of this world. Still dreaming of it!
2. Don't get lost. You'll see this in Assagao. Same road as Vinayak ;)
3. Pad Kra Pao, with a twist: instead of minced chicken, a bit bigger chunks, and with some pieces of prawns too. Delightful!
4. Another one of their Signature Sticky Rice Bowl, the grilled fish smoked over charcoal with some yakitori (or teriyaki?) sauce. Yum!
5.Coconut panacotta with passion fruit. Oh yes, gimme more, baby!
6. Yes, same as 1, but with a bite. Yes, still the best!
Prices might seem steep, but portions are generous and the food is really good!
We had a pretty good nap after all that food!
All in all, the menu is full of mouthwatering dishes, and can't wait to visit again with friends (you know, to order more and share more 😉) over a few of their their signature cocktails.

Located right at the heart of beautiful village of Assagao, @sillysoulscafe was sort of chance encounter when we were just looking for a place to eat. It's a garden restaurant of sorts with veey simple ambience but don't be fooled by it, as the extensive West meets east type of a menu curated by them wil give you a lot of options. We weren't in the mood of anything western so stuck to their south asian eastern cuisine and we weren't disappointed at all.
We ordered their Chicken Yakitori, Kalimpong style squid in butter chilli garlic, the thai prawn dumplings and finally for mains a bowl of Pad kra pao. The starters were simply amazing with stunningly juicy and tender meat cooked to perfection and those squids carrying some nice spicy punch to go with the equally well crafted Silly sour cocktail (must try). Pad kar pao had small chunks of chicken and prawns stir fried & served with sticky rice and topped with an egg which was delightful to say the least.
The place has lovely live music to go with the simple ambience and the most amazing and friendly staff who will help you with all your orders. The biggest biggest con of this place are the prices - overpriced to say the least. But definitely worth a visit if you really want to try some good south wast asian cuisine.
Silly Souls is an amazing Cafe n Bar.
Located in the interiors of Assagao, this place has got peaceful and soothing vibes.
It has a perfect location having a beautiful garden with lush greenery and a nice exotic bar.
Silly Souls has a awesome menu for all Pan Asian lovers. We tried a big bowl of stir fry tofu soaked in soya sauce and rice, hot Noodle soup and hot spicy garlic noodles.
Try all this with chilled local beer called Peoples Lager. Its from Goa Brew Co. and is just amazing.
Whenever you are in North Goa do visit this calm and peaceful cafe cum restaurant in Assagao !!!!!!!
Been here for a lovely dinner. The ambience was really sweet ans cozy, food was on point and the staff were super friendly and helpful in terms of recommendations. Overall a good experience.
Really good south east Asian cuisine.... loved everything we ordered. We started with the bean curd and Gyoza, which were outstanding... the Som tum salad and seafood dumplings were also very good.
Beautiful ambience, serene place. The food were also delicious and reasonable. Well decorated place. The staffs were very helpful.

Went there on a Sunday night and there was a chill live music gig. It’s got a lovely lawn with outdoor seating in addition to a covered area with the bar. The southeast Asian food was really good, specially the pork curry and sticky rice. The smoked picante cocktail and berry smash cocktail were great as well.
Also you will find the most adorable puppy here! (Unless he grows up by the time you visit, so go soon 😅 however he will still be adorable when full grown.)
The place is nice and quiet. But the food quality could be improved.
I ordered crispy lotus stem, they tasted good but they were full of oil. Well beyond any unhealthy food lover’s comfort.
I asked them to bring pizza after the starters but they brought all the food together.

Don't let the name or the logo fool you. The pan Asian food is incredibly delicious and consistent. All the non veg dishes hit the spot. Not too spicy, not oily and nothing overpowering. Just the perfect balance of all flavours. The pannacotta is incredibly rich in smoothness yet very light. Again, consistent taste and nothing over powering.
The service is good and staff are very courteous and polite , ways ready to help or make sure everything about the meal is satisfactory.
This is what makes a restaurant great and recommendable.
They know their food extremely well and they strive to give you the best service as well. Their cocktails are amazing. I can vouch for the fact that you can try anything on their menu and it will taste good. We celebrated a friend's birthday there and they were the best hosts you could ask for. Keep up the good work team!

But please do use a plastic container for Garlic Butter Prawns. The aluminum wrap ruins it!

The food is great. Quite unique spot if you are looking for a slightly fusioned and creative take on cuisines as you know it. The crispy fried beancurd is divine! Also, on a different note the washroom is just splendid! Fit for an aristocrat. Loved the experience.
Yummilicious food... Order anything and you will be happy with the dish... Absolutely in love with the place... The host is always on his toes and ensures exemplary service all the time and you can ask him for his recommendation, if you're confused. And the live music is also amazing, courtesy Jack...
Big ups to Harsh for the place. Beautifully set up, the hospitality was top notch. The food just exquisite and the deserts were divine.
The service was very prompt, they took very good care of us. alot of attention in the service recommendations were super helpful since we were looking to try house specials.
I have to mention the portion sizes enough to tank you up haha or like they like to call it soul food. The place has a super vibe to it. My experience with silly souls was great and would definitely come back again!!
