Place is good..arrangements are good.. Come in to the food... If you are Non Veg lover this place satisfy your expectations.. Non veg specially starter 9/10...main course 8/10...but if you are Veg person I suggest u too find some other place.. Because Veg starter is good 8/10 but main course 5/10..even less than that..Drinking allowed here so plan according to that whom with your going..separate rooms for smokes.. Services is good.. Good food but the service and owner is not good

We went to Aurangabad for 4 days, had dinner here for 3 of them. Really nice food, tasty and reasonably priced. Service is good, atmosphere is quiet, which is a nice thing. Not many places in the area near railway station with both - good food and alcohol available. Would really recommend for a weekend dinner with family/friends.

Seems one of the best tandoor restaurant in Aurangabad. I have a great meal in here and the prices were cheap. Also staffs and waiters were kind . I hope visit here again if I have one more chance to visit Aurangabad.

Excellent place for great quality food! As a family, we've been dining at Tandoor for more than 20 years. The food, classy atmosphere and service are always delightful and fulfilling. This is a must visit restaurant to experience the top class taste and food that represents Aurangabad.

Best Food good quality.

Place and taste both are good. Nice family ambience with a old world charm. Rates are reasonable with good portion sizes. Overall it's a good place to dine except for service which is also good but slow.

The food was sumptuous and tasty. The overall restaurant is small in size but no worries as they make up for all the imperfections with great interpersonal skills and customer service. Customer is God, and they believe in that. No wonder that this place is one of the famous landmarks here. We took lunch here. Chicken Biriyani, Butter chicken, fish fingure. Very tasty, staffs are good. We enjoyed the food.

Food was good but overpriced. Also the waiter was annoying. Too little care for one's privacy. Was trying to indulge in unnecessary gossip and initiate random small talks when we clearly were not interested. Ambience is decent.

The older u go the more love for this place goes. it’s been almost 30 years n memories still freshen here...

I have been around the world but the butter chicken and the super filling sizzler platter I have had here is like no other.

We went for starter there and ordered for tangdi kebab and a beer..We ordered it on recommendation of the waiter..It took quite long time for serving the Kebab although there was not at all rush..We dint like kebab much..Seems they had coated kebab with some naan material along with other ingredients..It was not as per own expectations..

The best keema naan and butter chicken.want to save money order there murg musalum meal four people eat at RS 1000 and it's wow in taste and value for money.

I had ordered dinner from the restaurant. Menu is perfect, something for everyone. The food was delicious especially the PALAK PANEER that was recommended by the owner. Great and prompt service. Will definitely order again. <br/><br/>P. S. They also sent me complimentary Gulab Jamuns.

I went here for a lunch takeaway in january. There was some offer by which I would get the third biryani almost free if I would order three biryanis. We ordered chicken biryani.<br/>The portion was quite good and the chicken was pretty good. However, the flavor was lacking and rice was a bit tough. The accompanying gravy was the best part, which clearly means that the qualuty of the biryani should be improved.

The restaurant is with in 2KM radium of Railway Station.  We were a family of 4 and wanted to try something special local food. The Manager was kind enough to suggest that he will get some special Naan and make a full Chicken Kalifa. Overall there were many waiters in the small restaurant which indicated that they are service focused.  The Manager him self was taking care of all our orders.<br/><br/>The Food was very good. The Special Naan was really special and later we were told that it was brought for us from a distance of 2 KM. The Spicey level of Chicken Khalifa was moderate and was to our like. <br/><br/>I will go ahead and give them a 4.5 out of 5 base don these two dishes.

Hi guys,So being from Delhi,whenever I go out to eat in a different state or city I always ask for Traditional dishes or dishes which the restaurant is famous for.So I had gone with my dad to eat here and the ambience was okay with the restaurant bustling on a Thursday evening.As usual I asked a veteran waiter that what would you recommend to eat over here.He said Butter Chicken,but being from Delhi I didn't want to eat this over here too😂.So I asked for something authentic and good so he recommended Chicken Silori with Jowar Rotis.The order took 15-20 mins to come and he said that this dish would be very spicy and hot.The dish arrived in different bowls😂.It was a bit funny as the waiter didn't serve us by bringing the whole bowl to the table and then by serving it.He brought out the katoris with some bits and pieces of Chicken and then brought out the main bowl which had only one small piece left in it.Then the rotis arrived,the dish was tasteless and saltless,it was bland.The dish was very average it was like a soup.The dish was not spicy at all and could be had by an infant.The Jowar rotis were good and crisp.After we had the entire meal,the old waiter brought in a green chilli paste which had to be had with the dish.After eating the whole meal,the old waiter brought this in.I was left awestruck😂The only thing good was the Rotis and the fresh lime soda😂I think you should stick to mainstream dishes over here as the Maharashtrian dish didn't work out.Boiled Chicken in a Soup like gravy😂I had to put some black pepper and salt in the gravy with a bit of lime.Thiagarajan Narayan

Awesome location I must say. So near to Aurangabad railway station and maybe that's the reason its never empty. The accompanying bar makes it a instant favourite among all. Food is not any special. Regular Chinese dishes are abundantly available but not worth having. Fish dishes are pretty good though. Their north Indian cuisine are better. Ambience is pretty noisy.

Brilliant food!! Cozy ambience!! Always my go to place with the family!! It doesn't pinch the pocket! And best thing, now they even serve Bira!!

Container n carry bag charged. 100 rs for auto charge . Prices on menu n Prices on Bill r different. Nobody charges for it. Cannot expect dis from Tandoor.

Food was okay, service was also okay, and the price ramge was also okay. It was around ₹686 for 3 people, and we had ordered full chicken tandoori, paneer tikka masala, and rotis. <br/>Tip: a full plate of curry is enough for 3 people though they insist on saying it won't be sufficient! Strange!

Tandoor Restaurant & Bar is located on the main Railway Station Road & has a large frontage, so it is easy to spot. Parking is also available outside the Restaurant, so this is good. They also have a Bar License & serve a variety of Alcoholic Drinks at reasonable rates, so it is a very popular place. In fact, they have a separate room/enclosure for guys who come only to drink, which is good, as it keeps them away from the main family area. Otherwise, you would not be able to enjoy going there. The Restaurant is fairly well done up, the ambience is good & so is the food. The waiters are polite & helpful, so the service is good too. They also accept Credit Cards, which is nice. As the name suggests, they specialize in Tandoori items, but they have a decent spread in the menu & the waiters correctly guide you on what to order. The rates are reasonable too, so it's a nice value for money place to visit while in Aurangabad to enjoy good Non Veg Food.

Easily overlooked but quite simply one of the tastiest meals we had in Aurangabad. <br/><br/>Look past the dated 1970s decor and you shall be rewarded! A meat eaters paradise, their speciality obviously is tandoor and they have a great selection. <br/><br/>We ordered masala papad, boneless chicken tikka masala, two tandoori roti and butter naan. All was flawless and came to 490 incl. two sweet lime sodas. Bargain !!<br/><br/>Highlight was definitely the chicken - succulent, perfectly cooked and the gravy was delicious, not too mirchi or oily. <br/><br/>I would highly recommend this place - it's about a 15 min walk north of the train station.

Best place to hang out....plus Hussain Saab is friendly...n cook prefers ur requirement and cooks perfectly as per diner's need...thank you tandoor entertaining since 24years!!!

Malai Chicken Tikka was mess couldn't found the taste of malai at all, But Butter chicken and Roti was love to....really done well. Veg Biryani was also tasty really good with smoke flavor on it i liked it. And yes must appreciate snacks provieded with beer. Nice. Overall nice like to visit again for more dishes.

Sadly😞i had one of my favourite dining experiences at the time I was leaving aurangabad🔀 the food is fantastic🌟 please try their non-veg spread viz. Very tasty. The veggie dishes are good too💗 All the items on the menu are tasty👌 cream of chicken soup➡super yum‼ the staff is sweet, whatever other people may say. They do not have a fancy decor but the food is awesome🏆

On a recent trip to Ajanta and Ellora I stayed at the VITS Aurangabad and Tandoor was right opposite the hotel. What I loved about the place was its warm vibes. The manager greeted me and my wife as if we knew each other for generations. There was an instant connect. With good vibes, food generally taster better and this is exactly what I took away from this place. I went by the managers's recommendations and they were all good. <br/><br/>P.S - We ordered 4 drinks and they the restaurant gave us 4 different kinds of yummy finger bites for free. This can happen only in Aurangabad and not in Bombay or Delhi. <br/><br/>My ratings for this place is not for the ambiance or the presentation but for the restaurant's innocence, their very warm and friendly staff, their attention to detail and their extremely prompt service.

If you crave authentic, and beyond lip smacking butter chicken, your search ends here. I took the butter chicken home as parcel, as the place is a little old and the interiors aren't really that great. But the commute was worth it, because the butter chicken is great! Auragabadkars this is certainly where the search ends. The dal fry was great too. Quite enjoyable!

During our Ajanta-Ellora summer visit @ Aurangabad, we yearned for homely-cooked yet appetizing food. We were putting up at the 4 star hotel VITS which offered wide variety of cuisine but could not satisfy us. So, my mom and me went for food-hunting and found this interesting place just opposite to our hotel.......................The fact that we could customize the dishes was an added bonus. We ordered "Baked Vegetable"(customized it by addition of more veggies, subtraction of au gratin), "Veg Hakka Noodles", "Tandoori Roti" and "Tandoori Murg". We were also given complimentary pappads and fresh salad by the owner who is an extremely sweet 'n' old person. The baked vegetables was prepared according to our customization and it was a perfect sauté. The Tandoori Murg was a perfect blend of spices served with yoghurt. The tandoori roti were crisp 'n' baked in right amount and the noodles were quite delectable with the tandoori murg. The food here was able to satiate my hungry voracious soul.................................................

Slow service but good taste and awesome curd rice to end the meal only if you are patient enough. My personal favourite is chikan roganjosh.

On captain's recommendation we ate chicken tandoori masala, nd let me tell u... It was filled with chilli in the name of masala... not as we expected!!!

A very old restro but the taste is still delicious!the non veg platter is a must have and the butter chicken served here is probably one of the best butter chickens i have ever had!the service is good, ably headed by Mr Liyaqat..a very kind and adorable person!!

It is one of the best restaurants in town. Been successfully in existence for more than last 26 years. The Mughlai cuisine and kababs are to die for.

Dis restro is hard to be noticeable at a roadside. Ambience is da same as normal kind, tables are arranged so dat they are tacky to be comfortable. Theres not much place to roam around. Service is up to mark, taste is good specially da non-vegies are damn gud to wake ua taste buds... Cant mention it as pocket freindly, but not dat pricy.. overall a gud restro wit worse n tacky ambience..
