Had been to the place many a times with friends and family sometimes. Celebrated 9th and Parents 42nd Marriage Anniversary at the place. It has got 'Dastarkhwan' a special section for families so as to avoid all the hustle and bustle of the people moving around. Happy to see parents and children happy. The day ended with contentment. Thanks to the crew of the Great Sagar. Will surely keep on visiting.

The hotel staff recommend this place and boy we were in for surprise. The food is just awesome. The only drawback is that everyone loves this place, and it gets incredibly crowded. However, they make things move fast, and you are seated within no time.
The chicken dishes were just too good. The servers were always ready to help you with very valuable suggestions.
The Qubani is a must try.
Must go here if you are visiting the city.
Great Sagar Restaurant is one of the most famous restaurants in Aurangabad. It is a great place for dine-in. It is usually quite busy in the evening. There are 2 floors with seating arrangement. In the basement there is a Dastarkhan. We were lucky to have our dinner in the dastarkhan due to unavailability of seats in the normal seating area.
The food is very good in terms of quality, quantity and taste. A-one quality service was rendered despite a fully packed restaurant. Food was served within the stipulated time as promised during order.
The place is famous for its non-veg delicacies but they serve vegetarian options also. Sea-food and Chinese dishes are also offered. Desserts are also available. "Qubani with vanilla ice cream" is a must try dish.
The restaurant has ample parking space available. However the place is not wheel-chair accessible as one has to go through the stairs to the entrance.
This restaurant will never disappoint you.

Good restaurant great ambience and good location next to bhadkkal gate specially for non veg lovers fresh and tasty finger licking veg and non veg food a great variety of non veg available chicken mutton fish sea food is served with large potion size at reasonable price.
Chicken biryani mutton biryani chicken Kentucky gravies like chicken zaika,chicken maharaja murg musallam, mutton kheema and fish fingers are my favourite dishes we get here .
And their sweet dish qubani ka meetha is awesome and caramel custard is my son's favorite ,nice place to hang out with friends and family.
Great Restaurant. Would recommend you ask the waiters for the taste that suits you the most and they would recommend dishes accordingly. Adhere to what they say. Biryani is a must try.
I was in Aurangabad for the first time and a friend of mine suggested this restaurant. I was gladly satisfied. The food was too good and staff was very friendly along with the manager Azhar. The ambience was great as well.

Visited a day before new year's eve. Location and Brand is already famous. One of the best cultured and flavoursome restaurant in Aurangabad.
Tried Manchurian Prawns and Chicken Mandi this time. Both were really good. Mandi is not as traditional stock cooked but something different yet tasty. Gravy provided with Mandi is also delicious.
Three people can easily have a half Mandi and still might left with some.
Different types of sitting is available which is a plus.

Ordered Papad, Manchow soup, Chicken Khaiber, different Rotis and Chicken Mandi.
Manchow soup was good and Chicken Khaiber was spicy yet tasty. Mandi has become less spicy compared to last time.
Bad Points: Service and waiter manner still needs to be improved. We were not allowed to light bday candle but people were smoking in family sitting. People waiting should also be maintained outside. People and waiter peeking inside Indian family sitting is not at all appreciated.
Well, it's not fine dining but yes good when you don't feel like cooking at home and wanna eat out with family.... Go for mutton or chicken
