Review Mini Taj Family Restaurant - Aurangabad

Shahrukh B Davar
A wonderful monument built by Aurangzeb's son in memory of his mother. It's a Replica of the Taj built with little marble and rest in Plaster of Paris, Yet has withstood the times. Beautiful ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿคฉ ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

Good place to visit in Aurangabad. The queue for tickets can be longer depending on which day you visit. Tickets can be purchased online too. There is ample space to roam around inside the compound.
BHARAT DIVE
Very famous tourist place of attraction in Aurangabad. Now open up to 10 pm on each day excluding holiday. Ticket is available upto 10 pm daily and it is very convenient to visit this place in the evening only due to pleasant atmosphere. Paid parking available near the place. Due to electric decorations, it gives best view. Overall nice e

Make sure you visit the place in night when the tomb is all lit. Plenty of parking at the spot and entry tickets are reasonably priced. You do not need a guide to go around the place as itโ€™s quiet small.

READ THIS REVIEW FOR A HASSLE FREE ENTRY. 1. Book the ticket from the QR code available there. It's 5/- less and you will avoid the huge crowd. 2. There is parking outside which takes 10/- for the bike. 3. After entering inside you can click as many photos as you want but there is a lot of rush inside there so make your way inside and first click pictures over there. 4. While going outside dont wait till 6:00pm as it gets crowded and you wont be able to go out early. 5. Outside there are many eateries available where you can have breakfast. HOPE THIS HELPS....!! A must visit when in Aurangabad and it's the younger sister of Taj Mahal. Best time of the day to visit is after 4:45 pm as you can enjoy the climate and it'd open up to 8pm. It's close to Soneri mahal and Aurangabad caves.

It looked amazing at night. Definitely a must visit place if you are travelling to Aurangabad. Take the tickets online and you would skip the ticket counter queue.

If you have seen the real Taj Mahal, you will realise what an awesome copy this is of the original. Of course, don't expect it to be anything close to the original, but then the efforts of Aurangzeb can not be written off. Pro tip - visit this place in the night. It's very well lit up and beautiful.

This place was excellent under lights when viewed from a distance. We visited around 6 pm and was turned with lights on. It looks like a miniature recreation of taj mahal from the distance. However when we go nearby we will find that the walls are normal and some marbles are there only upto the base few feet. The walls were tainted. Worth the visit and gives the glimpse and alternative experience of taj mahal and how will it be.

On a November afternoon, we explored Bibi Ka Maqbara. The pleasant weather added to the enjoyment of our sightseeing experience. Despite the site's rich history, there's a noticeable lack of respect for its heritage, evident in the poor maintenance. Extensive renovations have altered some of its original art, although the interior dome remains a captivating sight. The overall experience would have been more delightful if the water fountains and sprinklers were operational. Fortunately, the entrance tickets are reasonably priced at Rupees 25 for individuals aged 15 and above, while those aged 15 and under can enter for free.

The mausoleum is a beautiful example of Mughal architecture. It is made of white marble and is surrounded by a lush garden. The main structure consists of a large dome, four minarets, and a central chamber where Dilras Banu Begum is buried. The dome is the most striking feature of the mausoleum. It is made of white marble and is topped with a golden finial. The minarets are also made of white marble and are decorated with intricate carvings. The central chamber is a large, domed room. It is decorated with beautiful marble inlays and paintings. Bibi Ka Maqbara is a popular tourist destination. It is a must-see for anyone interested in Mughal architecture or Indian history. Pros: Beautiful architecture Lush garden Striking resemblance to the Taj Mahal Cons: Can be crowded, especially on weekends Some of the marble inlays and paintings are damaged Overall, Bibi Ka Maqbara is a beautiful and impressive mausoleum. It is a must-see for anyone visiting Aurangabad

Bibi Ka Maqbara is like a mini Taj Mahal โ€“ really cool! The fancy details and calm atmosphere make it interesting. But, they could tidy up a bit more. Still, it's a neat place to check out if you like old, fancy buildings.

It Deserves its title as 'Taj of deccan'. This place is picturesque! There is a backside garden, with densely planted trees, which makes it more comfortable for relaxing and to hang-out. Entry tickets-25 Rs in cash / 20 Rs via Credit/Debit card. You can get a direct rickshaw from Railway station/ST stand, but do haggle a bit over the price.

Duplicate Taj Mahal in Aurangabad We really found this structure fabulous, too! Though it can be maintained in a better way. In the evening, they put various lights around it. Must visit place in Sambhajinagar / Aurangabad.

It's a historical place. But not maintained properly. Property is in damaged state. Night view is more beautiful. Guide charged RS. 200 for just 5 min of information and that too already written there. Place has a significant role in history but extra care should be taken to maintain it.

I found this the only decent place remote to BibiKaMaqbra but the services provided are pathetically slow & most times they are out of ordered item . Still suggest to dine out if you don't want to travel much when visiting BibiKaMaqbra .
Food - 2/5
Service - 0/5
Ambiance - 3/5

This place scarred me as a foodie.ย Ordered chicken tandoori, lachcha paratha, naan, butter chicken, lassi and thums-up. Tiniest tandoori chicken I ever ate. I suspect half of it was dumped in the butter chicken which again contained one cup of dalda. The icing on the cake was a piece of glass in the thums-up. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he MERELY SHRUGGED!! Everyday hota hai kya?? Most of the dishes I asked for was rejected saying, "Nahi hain!!" Later on I came to know why. As soon as they served us the whole staff sat down for lunch including the owner!!! Stay away from this health/freak hazard show.ย Had to down another thums up from another joint (they were out of cold drinks!!!) to keep this trash settled in my stomach.ย

Service: 1.5/5
Food: 1/5
Ambience: 2/5
