Review Favela Goa - Baga

We went on a Tuesday so the crowd was almost zero but we met Shri who was an amazing host and told us about when the place gets happening and recommended some veg and non veg specialties. Food was incredibly good and yummy and good quantity for 2 pax with average appetite. The ambience was lovely and green with candle light. Surely coming back for weekend special party nights. I give 5 stars and highly recommend this place!

Good place for dancing and drinking. The space is large and so you can still maintain having a conversation with a group of friends. There is a large indoor space with live music which is great for dancing. The music is loud but very catchy. The outdoor space is as large with a number of tables. Both spaces have their own bars and so quite self contained except for the bathrooms that are outside. The space has contemporary Goan tropical theme and is a warm ambience.

Have been here twice. Very good ambiance. Full of greenery. Love it. Food is very tasty. Service is perfect. Good music. Perfect for groups and even couples and families.

A relatively new place near Baga beach.. great ambience, open decor, big bar area with a large stage for the band, great collection of drinks and a super sound system makes for a great evening out with friends. Coupled with good food and friendly service.. this is the place to go on Saturday night - with Alcatraz performing ..Though there were a few hiccups..but the intent is noble and customer friendly..so giving it 5 stars instead of 4. Tip- Please dress appropriately- No Slippers allowed!

First look was a lovely spacious restaurant. As we placed ourselves to the table I realised this place offers much more. Well to start with we were attended to immediately, so cheers to that. The service was seriously one up. Quick and courteous. Though they don't serve my fav tuborg beer so I opted corona but the dishes served made it up to it completely. I loved the freshness of the sea food and the tastes of spices added were never over powering. Finally the live music by Goa's top band just was lovely. The prices are also good for this such place. Must visit.

The place is gorgeous. Refreshing and soothing. Love the greenery inside About the food, it was all fantastic. However, found the kadala sliders a little bland. Apart from that, everything was perfect The Gunpowder idli is a must try. The chicken gyozas were succulent and flavorful. The kung pao chicken was balanced really well. Loved the spice and heat. The spinach and corn fritters were crispy and delicious.

Amazing food ..perfect romantic datenight and such good courteous staff and mamagement...make it a must when you visit Baga Beach... nt having a beach view but one should not miss..also close to the famous Hammerz night club..

It was an amazing to experience at Favela last Saturday Night with some great classic hits performed by the band on stage ,i think they were called Forefront , food was yummy ,and the strawberry mojito set us up for a night to remember . See u again next saturday !👍👌✌

Though the ambiance and the interior (or is it the exterior) here would keep you captivated, the food and drinks won't do any less. Your meal at Favela shouldn't start without one of these. The Caipirinha cocktails are absolute bomb. The drink is basically prepared by mixing (muddle) lime and the sugar together, then adding the liquor. But Favela has added its own twist to the drink. The drink itself starts strong, with punchy fruit flavours and sets the stage for a milder and smoother feel as it dilutes and as you relax. We had watermelon caipirinha and passion fruit caipirinha. As though the drinks weren't amazing enough we were treated with some great food too. First up, we had Andhra fried chicken - Thin tender chicken pieces crisp fried with a spiicy coating. The chillies, spices and the curry leaves kinda gives it a desi peri peri flavour. Was a great snack to go along with the Caipirinha cocktails. Next up was the Karaikudi fried prawns. Spicy, like most dishes in Chettinad cuisine but with some sweetness of the fried prawns. Golden fried prawns stir fried with onion, chillies and spice mix - that would give you a better idea about the dish I hope. Also tried the Chettinad chicken wings which had moderately spicy and peppery batter. Again a great appetizer to go with the drinks. We ended the meal with a Nutella cheesecake . I have to say that I enjoyed every bite of the meal and the best thing they served was their hospitality.

The vibes at this place was really good. Food is good and the atmosphere is fantastic, perfect place to get your weekend going. The bar is well stocked and reasonably priced. You are spoiled for choice here . We had a fantastic Saturday night here... Good ambiance, drinks, excellent music, and food.. what more does one need 😃

The chicken curry here was absolutely fantastic. A must-try for any traveller in the area. The ambience was quite unique, filled with greenery all around.

Located near highly crowded place in goa (Titos lane) yet soothing and calm ambience. Very spacious place with outdoor siting facility. Romantic place to be for candle light dinner with your loved ones. Food variety is really good. Friendly staff. Manager recommended authentic chicken and goan curry which was fantastic.

An aesthetic Greenhouse bar and bistro in Goa that serves some of the finest cocktails you can have in Goa. Some of the must tries here are the malabar parotta with the beef or chicken sides. Also the Favela Fries are a hard miss. And as a South Indian, I will always be partial to the lipsmacking podi idlis Favela gives. Such a nostalgic feeling to have something that feels like home. Most happening places to chill, party, dance or just have a slow night where you wine and dine. Favela has my heart

This place is so pretty and aesthetically pleasing that you will want to click pictures at every corner. We dined in and ordered their prawns, fish, chicken, soup, dimsums and warm chocolate cake. The dimsums are heavenly and must try (both veg and non veg) I loved the cake that I ordered but please do check if it contains alcohol (if ordering for kids). The restaurant had live music so it made our dinner very exciting and memorable.

Pathetic management, rowdy crowd especially on Saturday night. Unsafe place for women. Management shrugs off women's safety concern saying, "This is how it is in Goa". Ironic considering they promote Ladies night.

Went there for a Saturday night , I think that’s the place to be on a Saturday in Goa amazing band a26 which never disappoints it was kinky night lovely food nice drinks but need to work on there cocktails ...!! As they are ok . But never the less lovely place great experience

This place is insane ! We went there on a Saturday night and the place was lit till almost 5 in the morning. The Staff is not very polite but apart from that, 5 stars!

When you call up people make sure you explain them properly about stag or couple entry! We traveled from long distance as one of the staff who picked up the call and told us no entry you can walk inn! Please understand people might travel to you from anywhere! You can’t tell them there is not entry or entry is charged at the entrance! What an experience! Also please don’t keep boxers to attend people at the entrance, their body language looks like as if they are scaring people! Thank you

The vibe at Favela is perfect to wind up the week with music you can dance to and a bar that serves almost everything! Im definitely going there again!

Had been to this new place with a couple of friends. Really loved this place! It's one of the best places to hangout on weekends. The DJs play amazing tracks, the live music by the bands makes u wanna "sway". Going to favela is a must do for anyone that comes to goa. <br/>Went to there to celebrate a birthday dinner. Their food is food is amazing. The staff is super attentive, super fast with the food and smiling. <br/>The owner is so passionate, calm and knows exactly what the guest wants. <br/>Cant wait to be back to goa and go back here!

The newly opened place is just superb! The night we went there was a live band playing and the vibe was just too good! The food and seesha was damn good and value for money! The staff was very friendly! The second night we went( we really liked the place to go there again) we went really late and there were hardly any people in the place but still the manager and the staff were all attending us and serving very politely! Would definitely recommend people to visit this place especially when there is a live band performing!

Something quite different from the norm. Beautiful ambience with foot tapping music. Flavourful food that makes you keep coming back for more. Had some tasty Lamb Kefta Kebabs and Roast Pork Chili. Do not miss out on this place when you are in Goa.

One of the new night clubs in goa, the ambience and environment was incredible. As it is owned by the owner of cohiba and tao, you can see the hospitality and comfort there. Overall, a must try.

We we're on our first holiday to Goa and staying in a hotel near Baga beach,we wanted to go out so we saw Favela,we entered in and we're so amaized with the nice interiors,we had a few drinks and the music began,the live band playing some really good music,we ordered for some food which was nice ,we really enjoyed our selves.<br/>

Being a food and lifestyle blogger I had much expectations from this new club in Goa. We wanted to try Sheesha although it was for ₹1400 which is very expensive and also people were being given free shots to write a good review which was also diluted. The service could have been better. <br/>But on a brighter side, the place was spacious with good interiors.

A new club in town, the place is huge and can accommodate 600 easily. Although the cheese garlic bread were too greasy. Overall the experience wasn't that great. Drinks were little bit expensive they were charging 22% VAT which is too much.<br/>

Big tap then, now Favela is a happening place for your Saturday nights. Not only does this place have good vibes, but also good food. We dropped by on a Saturday night. There was a live band followed by a Dj. Food presentation and taste, both were a top notch. They serve hookah and are open upto 4am in the night. However the crowd pull was less but it was only their third business day then. A good place to visit over the weekend for good music and good food. Recommended!!!!
