Jay was PHENOMENAL we stayed in Goa for 12 days and had numerous meals- consistency is very important to us as world travellers - these guys all made this restaurant a definite stop for food - the food was just as BRILLIANT as the service We will be travelling to India AGAIN, it makes NO difference where we will be, we WILL take a flight, just to come back to Jay, and Sea Salt!!!

It is small dhabba type setup of should I say shack type. The food was reasonable priced and decent taste and quality what you expect from such a place. Good to go Has parking .

The place serves fresh and tasty seafood where the catch is it's very affordable rate. Also being a vegetarian I found veg food(butter roti curry and cheese garlic naan) extremely tasty. The main good thing here is the waiter named Sujay is very friendly and understands our taste and suggests the food as per that. Served us patiently. So felt this place was very welcoming and budget friendly. Vibe and the music here is great.

It's a decent place to enjoy vegetarian meals. The food here is very basic. When we came here on the first day, we knew that very moment that we are not going to have our meals anywhere else throughout the trip. Although we tried many different places, this is the only place we liked for vegetarian food.

nice small cosy place with live music Had Surmai thali , Thaki was served with one medium sized surnai rawa fry , very mild in taste , one alu gravy Subji, one dry cabbage Subji , fish gravy and rice portion , one tandoor roti and topped with salad n kokam sharbat . Qty is quite sufficient for one person , curry was good gian style , overall a good dinning experience, cost RS 400/- Value for money

In short: “Good food at an affordable price”

Made two visits: One for dinner, another during lunch the next day (Saturday and Sunday)

Ambiance (4/5)

They had live music during dinner, comfy seating, and sufficient lighting. There’s also a great option to sit on the riverside across the road, which for me was a peaceful option, away from all the bustle.

Food (4/5)

+ The Goan Fish Thali was an option I selected to taste the local preparation, and it was delightful. There was a fried fish, a fish curry, and dried prawns, along with some veggies.
+ Other amazing options I had included Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Biriyani, and Veg Biriyani. Each one tasted delicious.
- The Veg Pulao, however, was a disappointing dish.

Quantity: One dish was sufficient to serve one and a half person

Price: Very affordable, which is why we chose Sea Salt

* Was surprised that boiled water would not be provided. It was either Tap water or pay for a Bottled water. I am not certain how things are in Goa, but this was something that disappointed me though.

We ordered chicken lollipop. Meat was old and found some glass pieces inside. And the fish curry meals is not upto the mark.. Their Calamari Fry had a stingy smell.. very very very bad experience.. filled the stomach with egg noodles and Dhal kichadi.

Hats off to the service they provide!
Where else food is pretty below average!
Ordered Dal Makhani with steam rice and chilli paneer dry.

Would probably give an extra star for the service.
This restaurant is a complete waste when it comes to serving quality food. The hygiene isn't at all taken care by the restaurant and reflects their commitment to healthy food.

I had ordered mixed veg from the restaurant and upon serving it, I discovered the cauliflower is stale and isolated an insect from it.

Upon informing the restaurant, I was offered a cash back for the food ordered (which I denied) and demanded a meeting with owner of the restaurant. I was assured a meeting with the owner and an investigation would be taken up to look into it. One of their staff (probably the manager assured) their owner Mr. Sanjay will meet me in person to discuss about this issue and to my surprise, none of them even bothered to apologize or give a courtesy call.

I have consulted my lawyer and initiated a legal proceeding by filing a lawsuit against the restaurant.

We wandered in only because it was located on Baga creek. Beyond that there is nothing going for it. They served us some funny versions of Goan dishes. The safest bet is a beer with their fish thali.
