Cafe laval was located in Baga beach. Its a beachfront restaurant with amazing view. We try 1. Tandoori prawns 2. Chicken sizzler 3. Veg pasta All food was yummy and mouthwatering in taste. Must visit this beautiful place with your love one.

Great place to chill out relax and work from this cafe. Had a great experience in restaurant just to have fun Beach side food and breezy food. Had a lot of food both Veg and Non-Veg. All dishes were tasty and worthy for the price including the atmosphere and location.

Cafe Laval is an absolute gem for anyone seeking good vibes and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. During my recent visit, Mr. Sunny, the host, truly went above and beyond to make the experience exceptional. His friendly demeanor and genuine hospitality created an inviting ambiance that immediately put me at ease. The cafe itself exudes positivity, with cozy seating and soothing music that elevate the mood. The combination of great vibes and Mr. Sunny's impeccable hosting skills makes Cafe Laval a must-visit spot for those looking for a delightful and heartwarming cafe experience

The outdoor seating for dinner was quite pleasant, offering a lovely atmosphere to enjoy a meal. The food that was served proved to be delicious and satisfying, enhancing the overall dining experience. An added bonus was the presence of a DJ inside, contributing to the lively ambiance. I have a strong fondness for this place and anticipate frequent visits in the future, as it holds a special charm that I truly miss.

Great place to hang out in Goa Baga beach. Awesome atmosphere with the pleasant sea view and most importantly the service was amazing from every staff member especially like to mention the “manager Sunny “ over there!!! Great person wishing him all the good wishes…

I went there with friends . It's on Baga Beach when it comes to food the taste is excellent. Service was Good ,Manager Handle the restaurant very clean and Hygienic . The Staff was very cooperative .Only thing I liked about this restaurant was that the Hookka prices were less as compared to the other restaurants nearby the place. Rest you'll like being there. Do Visit Here!

One of the best shacks I’ve been to. Their staff member David was extremely welcoming and ensured we had a great time. I’d totally recommend the Golden fried Calamari and the king sized prawns. A good vibe all in all

Won't ever visit this place after this experience due to this place... I understandwhy the rating is already is so low here... If u want to ruin The evening only than one shud go here... Went to this place at night. The food here is amazing just like we wanted. It was spicy and good. It is so well decorated with red lights and DJ here is super. Loved the place 🔥

One word to summarise bad food. This is my third visit to this place and all the time food was very sad. Overall the place is good to party with good music and nice sitout in shamiyana. However the food makes it worse

Great Place, Do visit this place.

We were looking for a chilled-out place near the beach. This place was almost empty during lunch and well, its usually a red flag but we decided to ignore it and go in with our fingers crossed. We got ourselves a nice sea-facing table and placed out orders. We had Goan pork, calamari, prawns and some rice. We customized the order to our liking and got it the way we wanted it. Food was overall good but service was slower than expected. Not a bad place as the reviews make it out to be.

The worst shack i have been to first they don’t accept cards or neither paytm phone pay or something. Worst service. They charge double of price quantity is very less, taste was ok
Neha Saroha
Was thr for dinner, served cheap wine in the name of good product.. cheating staff
SM
Was there for dinner.. Shack on the beach.. Small tents set up. Average food and drinks. Shisha was available too. Service was a bit sluggish. Plays rather blasts OK type of music.
Ambience-4 service-3 food-3 vfm-3

This cafe is on the baga beach and they have shacks and a big sitting area inside and cafe has a beautiful view.

But they don't serve jain food and very less options for vegetarians as well so we could have only juices and club sandwich which both were yumm

Its a good place to just sit and chill as they also play really good music !

Cafe Laval is a shack located on Baga beach. We visited here one evening after strolling on Baga beach to have some beers. This place is big with indoor seating area with bar on side and outdoor seating area with beautifully lit tents on beach. This place has beautiful view of sea.

Music is decent. Service is quite slow and we had to call server multiple times for our order.

We ordered Cheese garlic naan, Crostini and couple of beers. Naan was topped with grated cheese. Crostini had lots of bell peppers, topped with some weird looking sauce and cheese. Crostini had weird taste. It was the worst food we had in our entire Goa trip.

There was some issue with payment as they do not accept debit/credit card for payment. Overall experience was bad.
Smita Khandare
No proper response. Take too long to get order.. Even after requesting no one came to take order r even bother to listen. Had to wait for 45 min just for bottle of beer.
Gaurav Lodha
Visited this place with my friends.. Located in heart of Baga Beach.. Place is awsm.. Shacks were superb.. Music was gud but songs were played in Pen drive.. When you are sitting at this place for more then 30 mins, same songs will be played multiple times.. Food was average.. And worst part is their service.. The lady Manager there was very rude..
Mrs Tamboli
Went here on my recent visit. I'd to wait for around half hour just to get a bottle of water that to after asking the servers multiple times. Nobody even bothered to ask for order during this time. Hence, just left this place.

Located on the prime location of Baga Beach this shack has a big outdoor seating (available in all seasons subject to rain) and indoor 2 stage seating.

They have great music which definitely makes your legs move!!!

Coming to the food part, this is one of the shack which provides amazing quality and quantity of food for a fair amount of money!!

We ordered chicken tandoori, chicken masala and squids.
They provide a wide range of menu with a good taste.

Taste: 3/5
Service: 4/5
Food Quality :3.5/5
Value for money: 4/5

Please note that these shacks charge 2000 per table(Full cover) depending upon the crowd on the beach.

Enjoy your food!!!!
Mohith Gowda
Very bad quality food, and arrogant staff and manager. If you want to spoil your health then please go there. It's not worth even the one star given.
Koonhi Hazarika
Sorry to say bt worst place ever!!! Never have non veg food here.. veg is still eatable. N do not expect a good ambience though its location is good. Service is also worst. We had to wait for the food for at least 1hr. Suggestion: Pls don’t waste your valuable time here.
Meowpriya Das
The pizzas were the worst one I ever had in my life and they were not ready to take back the pizzas. Instead they tried baking it and those were chewy too and the pizza dough wasn't raised enough and therefore those were raw chewy flour. Please do not come here even if it is the only place open on Baga beach. The flour was maida Gola.
Kunal Verma
Very baaaaaddd food..

I visited the place day before yesterday and order pork chilly fry and tuttacare pizza...both had a bad raw smell coming from it.when i spoke with th manager he said that i ate 2slices so it cannot be bad.which he couldnot understand we are 2 people and tasted 2 slices and bothe were yuck...very bad for the food and attitude..

Will never visit or suggest anyone to visit this place...as food sucks
The Coffee Addict
When the partially sunny partially cloudy weather breaks into a heavy rain by the beach, what do you do? Look for shelter! So we took shelter under their Gazebo like beautifully lit tents overlooking the sea. But the rains were fierce and didn’t seem to end so we sat inside.

Surprisingly, we were the only people inside apart from the staff. And the amount of dogs taking the nap inside and happily looking at us meant the place was pet friendly for sure.

It is indeed a big and beautiful place. Considering the proximity to the sea and the display of lights and Gazebos, they must actually do well during peak season.

We didn’t want to just sit and wait until the rains were gone so ordered a mix seafood soup. And it was barely 6:00pm and our lunch was heavy.

The sea food soup came in about 15 minutes, but I wonder what they were trying to do. The prawns were fresh, I thought I got a calamari too but it was way too bland for a soup.

If I tossed some good sea food with a pinch of salt and half a chili into boiling water and corn flour, the result would be this soup.

At 200 rupees for the soup, the value was for the shelter provided when it rained heavily.

The service didn’t really exist. I don’t think they expected us to order anything so I had to call them and place the order and call gain for the bill. When they didn’t come, I went up to the bill printer and asked whoever was printing something.

The music is way too loud inside and it appears to be for the people outside to take notice of the place :D

Overall a below average experience.

Zomato doesn’t let me rate 2.5. Hence the rating 2
Shraddha Bhinge
The cafe is sea facing. The table which are on the beach are beautiful but because of wind and rains we had to shift inside. Inside the cafe there is loud music , and service is slow. The food taste was good but the presentation was not appealing.
The Food Fantasy
Average place to visit relaxed not so options for food need to be increased in terms of local, taste of the food was good reasonable price, visited on two occasions dinner and lunch only thing bit annoying is loud Bollywood they play
Devansh Mehrotra
This place is disgusting. The are cons. I went there with a few friends to Baga beach as we come to this cafe. The manager directly said "if your bill will be above ₹2000/- then only you can sit over here", we still agreed to him. Then he started taking our orders and insisted us to have surmai and he didn't told us about the price of the fish. He took our orders and after a minute or so we asked the price to him the price was ₹2250/- we tried to cancel the order but it was not possible. Still that of alright but the fish was stale it was smelling and burnt. Worst experience
Shalakha
Had Lunch at cafe laval in baga beach. We had proper north indian food, food was tasty, view from the shack was good but the service was really slow..
Pradipta Boruah
Had Biryani out there, and it was average. The service of the restaurant was pretty good. Loved the location and the pet dogs of Cafe Laval gave me a good company.
Yash Patel
They tell you to make minimum bill of 1000rs then only they allow to sit..and their food is so awful that a dhaba serves better food ..dont ever go to this place..thia place should not be even listed om zomato
Mayur Sejpal
Food was ok but location is good, overall experience was ok, it is an ordinary shack in Baga beach.

Food- 3/5
Staff-3/5
Location- 5/5
Service- 3/5
Chintu Ke Chatkaare⭐️
High rates with pathetic taste and slow service...
Would recommend not to try this...
I ordered a pizza n by the time it arrived it was already cold..i asked the manager to change it but he refused...
Sumit
I will list down the feedback for each item ordered. Bira white - Ok
Port wine - seemed diluted. absolute waste
tandoori chicken - Chicken rotten and smelling
fish and chips - only fish served, chips missing

Hope there is no need to say anything more! Also, waiters seem to be running here and there with absolutely no co-ordination
Bhooshan Gore
Ambiance isn't that what you expected from Baga standards, Food is terrible, Music's pathetic.
If manager tells you about some surmai fish don't order. Pathetic about the take I had about this shack.
Kaushal
Worst place.. the manager tells that of you have to order as soon as the menu card is given ... And asks you to move away if the order is not greater than 3k you can move away... worst hospitality in Goa.. deserves a negative rating... Owner is a lady and rudely speaks to customers..
Cmajor1282
cafe laval a place one cannot miss at baga beach in the late evenings and night , coz of the blasting music probably the loudest compared to all other shacks around the area , with all the peppy dancing tunes coming out of the big speakers the place is well decorated to the theme of red hearts and red gazibos that look perfect with the sea in front .The place is almost packed in the evenings and weekends , quite a crowd puller .
Enjoy !!!! Cheers !!!
Komal
Worst place poor service and the owner lady is horrible worst experience of life....
Just went to click pic my table was occupied by other group and after asking the owner about it she started yelling and asking money we told her our stuff is also missing she was not ready to listen...
Pathetic lady night was spoiled after going there even food was not good😌 very very horrible.... poorrr
Manan Haria
The most bakwas place .... never ever to go there ..
The staff and the owner never listens to their mistakes and charge extra and gives dhamki of police so that tourists have to pay more and go.. they are fraudsters...
Neeti Verma
Pathetic food.. ordered paneer chilly and dragon chicken..chicken was chewy..paneer chilly was horrible..
Never had such bad cocktails..the music was so loud and ek dum shaadi types..when asked to change the music and lower the sound, the waiter rudely said ki yaha to yahi chalega
Wanted to give zero star but 1.0 is the least I can give..
Abhinavraj9
Horrible staff behaviour and incompetent manager.Gave a wrong order and arguing on top of that.Highly insulting behaviour.
The worst serving staff in entire Goa.
Sarthak
Awesome place, good prawns and mastt paneer bullet. Must try.

Courteous manager Amit hi
Must visit. A very visit worthy shack in the Baga beach
Arpita Dey
ambience was awesome since the shacks was exactly near to the beach.. food was ok especially the goa masti mocktail was average and the goan style chicken starter.. the evening environment was fab with good music around and the waiters were really helpful n attentive..
Amit Namdeo
Worst restaurant in Goa, cafe owner is a lady, used cheap tricks to get the coustomers, food are very bad. So rude lady.food are stinky, owner is not good
Chandravali Madan
The owner of restaurant is very rude and unprofessional.. food stinks.. it is worst restaurant in baga... never recommend anyone for this cafe..awful
Kainaz Tata
Extremely disappointing service.
Staff has absolutely no idea of their own menu and what it consists of.
Food: Had to be returned as after explaining a simple dish it was incorrectly made and forced the mistake back on us.
Extremely poor personal rating.
Harsha Vardhan
Very disrespectful behaviour by the lady owner. Highly cautioned not to visit this place. Very pathetic experience. Food doesn't taste good. Not a good place to eat
Shraddha Patil
Very lousy place.
Service is too bad
They turn their heads back when u call them.
Very reluctant staff.
Quantity of food is not good enough though the quality.
Plus point is that it is on beach so u can enjoy serenity of sea..
Hookah pots.. They fool u..
Siddhesh Powar
Located on the baga beach this restaurant has just the perfect feel. The ambience is perfect with the candle light dinner. The food however is okayish and the quantity also is not much. The worst part is the service of this restaurant. The staff is very ignorant and least bothered about the customer satisfaction.
Sindhu
Located on the crowded Baga beach, this place has indoor and outdoor seating and it's pretty big. We ordered hakka noodles, which was made pretty well. However the sea food wasn't too great and my friends didn't like it.
Also, it was highly overpriced.
Dr. Kamalita Mitra
We once had breakfast here during our trip to goa , ordered for chicken sandwich , mushroom on toast , aloo paratha , masala omlette , orange juice , tea , none of the items appealed aesthetically or taste wise. Portions were less , quality compromised and no where worthy the price. Their only positive part is their phenomenal lightings and music at nightime , truly one of the most attractive set up at baga with heart shaped red lights bordering the area sets up a romantic ambience by the beach.
Cyriac John Jacob
A very average beach shack with the price slightly on the higher side. Ambience was average. Nothing too special or eye catching about the shack. Closes down very early if they don't have the crowd
Abhinav Kansal
BEWARE worst cafe of goa, don't go there. First of all waiters wont listen to you, even if you call them repeatedly, after 30 mins some one will come and gives you the menu and ask you that you have to pay Rs. 500 as you are sitting here from last 30 mins and suddenly a waiter come to you presenting you a bill of around Rs. 2500 saying that you have eaten all this. On telling them that we have not even ordered yet and this is a mistake, the lady manager/owner appears and threatens you to pay the bill. When you take a stand she pretends as in she is calling police or some local goans. And when we ask her to show the CCTV footage of us eating food or else we will call the police, she started cursing us. for god sake avoid this.
Regina Phalange
Easily the worst shack in Baga. The service is bad and the food is horrible. If you plan on only drinking, then maybe you can give this place a go. But would not recommend it!
Rishabh Pradhan
The most un hospitable place I've ever been too. I am a avid foodie and have been to a lot of restaurants / shacks around the world but Cafe Laval is the worst place ever.
We were 3 couples and a kid and had spent an excellent evening at St. Anthony's and we were taking a walk on the Baga Beach when we saw this nicely decorated place ... it was the worst decision we ever made to go and try out that place for dinner.

They took 20 mins to give us the menu even after we asked for it thrice and excepted to give the order immediately. When we said give us 5 more mins to select and order their manager said you will have to order now .. you have just come here to do timepass and you don't have "Aukad" to sit here.. To which I replied this is no way you should talk to us to which he replied don't teach us. When I reacted back called all his waiters and threatened us .. not only that they extorted 500 Rs. From us as sitting charges.

The owner too was a part of this extortion.

This place is run by goons I strongly recommend not to visit the place and spoil your evening!!!

I would rate this place -5
Sourabh Mehto
Worse service..wrong policy.... bad behavior
Dont have atticate to talk to customer...
Lady Owner dont have sence to Handel there own employ & argue with customer sencelassely
Waste of money####dissipate
#SIT zero rating is not an option
Amit Vasudevan
Good place.. They serve good food. Drinks affordable.. Hookah too costly.. Overall good place to hangout at night.. The con is service, which is very slow
Alizaheer Ali
Very commerical minded and horrible service ... suggestable to skip the place ... bad hookah , service and on top of it bad attitude of the manager they just want to sell ...
Sahil Vaid
WORST PLACE IN GOA. We took a table and had to wait for 20 minutes before someone came and attended to us and that too after shouting our lungs out. The Waiter got us Beer and Hookah and disappeared for 35 minutes. When we told them that we want to leave, they refused to return the unopened beer. Will recommend everyone to NEVER visit here.
Sangita Joshi
It's always a bit unfair to rate a shack in Goa - since v often it's done after much imbibing of potables.

But I have to say the lobster in butter garlic was v good . The crab masala wasn't that great though - and was also immensely spicy! The rest of th food we ate was average
Sanghavi Ps
This cafe is situated on baga beach. Best time to visit the cafe is in the evenings. They have tents and the lighting is beautiful. The play good music. You can sit and chill for a long time. It has outdoor seating and you can enjoy the beach view. The food is delicious. The service is a little slow.
MK Mishra
If you want to have fun at Baga beach you need to find a shack and just spend hours lazying around having beer and playing in the sea with tides. We always come to this shack as it is a little away from the crown at Brittos. This was our 4th visit here and we enjoyed having kings beer with different prawns fish delicacies.
Manish Ahir
First tea was pathetic, then the grilled sandwich was awful, the omelet was crappy and cherry on top, the service is disgusting and its hard to believe 2 slices of bread cost me Rs 40/- .... All in all no point in going to this place and wasting your time and money ...
Anubha Vir Sharma
really bad food.. the prawns tasted absolutely stale.. the staff was rude !! music was very silly. they don't accept cards..it's just rubbish! avoid!
Judevino Dsouza
My friends ordered Tom Collins and they served fresh lime soda. And when we confronted the owner the owner said, we can change it but they served us 'Lime water'. This is how they cheat people who are high.
Very slow service. Overpriced and sad food.
Not recommended to anyone!!

This shack on baga beach is to good they serve delicious food we had pasta ,sizzler all was up to the mark and tried some cocktails all was awesome at nyt the shack has a good look of tents and lightings had nice time
Gagneet Kalsi
Worst Shack ever!
Walking along the beach we thought of sitting down here without checking its name or its reviews. Biggest mistake!

Below average food!
Worst service that you can get. The waiters are undertrained. They don't listen to you, don't understand the order correctly.

The owner is a smug local women. Locals should make you feel welcome, but in here it was just the opposite.

They don't understand anything, and they sure as hell don't welcome any feedback.

This place should be burned to the ground!
Raju Raju

Cafe laval is one of the best shacks you can visit in Goa. It is located near the famous Brittos and St. Anthony's shack on Baga beach.
The food is excellent and the service is quick. They also serve hookah, which is the best thing with such a view! The music played here is much better than the other shacks on the beach.
If you want to visit a shack, then this is an option worth considering.
Indranil Ghosh
Pasta items are really tasty but sizzlers item's are not upto the mark. Ambiance are really gr8. Price of the foods are cheaps compare to the adjuscent shacks
Binay Kumar
We are spending today evening there and music was good, atmosphere was also very lively.Service is very fast , Quality of food is good and our overall experience was good. Thanks for making our evening great.
Deepika Gusain
If you are in goa for a happy trip then don't visit this place. The staff the Manager and more over the food everything is bad. Total waste of money and mood spoiler to visit here. The staff will not suggest you good options and when you want to talk to the senior staff they will misbehave with you. The staff doesnt respect their guests. If you want to enjoy the Baga don't be here.If I had options for negative rating then I would have done -1
Pooja Verma
ambience was awesome...
near the beach..
music is loud..
people even started dancing..
but..food was not good at all...food was lacking in the taste..and was not hot...staters was okay...but main course was horrible...dont visit the resturant for lunch or dinner meals...only for drinks and starters...
service was also not that good...
Pragnya Pradhan
Terrible food. Everything on the menu is a sham. Never ever be there. Total wastage. We tried rationalising with the owner as half of the items in our dishes were missing. But of no avail. Pathetic service again
Barlapudi Manoj
The place is right on the baga beach, thought it looked good cause of the very high and happening music but then the food here wasn't as high and good as the music though!!!

I wouldn't suggest the place!!
Priyanka Sandeep Sharma
Extremely terrible experience! We had to wait for our food for one hour ! No waiter was coming on call. One item came after the other after reminding them 3 times. Food quality is the most horrible we have ever tasted.Paneer looked like it was not even cooked, we ordered chicken Goan curry and we got Mughlai chicken after one hour of wait and upon asking we were told they don't have chicken Goan curry . Curry came without rice. Then why was our order taken?Fish Goan curry was watery and tasted like coconut oil. Upon complaining one staff came who was non courteous.THE LADY WHO WAS THE OWNER UPON COMPLAINING STARTED CURSING US!!
Most horrible experience we ended up paying for what we didnt eat.Not to forget when you sit you are surrounded by dogs and cats!Worst experience of Goa hospitality .
Rohit Khandekar
Less than average place. The view and location is why it's getting a 2. Or else stands no were in the terms of food or service quality. Food is substandard and priced very high then it deserves. Simple things like papad can't be prepared well here. I'm not coming here again nor recommending anyone else!!
Hemant Shirsat
Pathetic
The only positive is the location
The food was terrible and expensive
Whatever we ordered the prawns calamari evrything was a disaster
May be the worst food in baga
Plz dont visit and spoil ur mood
Ashima Agrawal
Perfect place for a candle light dinner on the beach, with an equally amazing music to pump up your mood. They customize dish as per your convenience. Tandoori items are crispy and baked perfectly. Good choice of cocktail and tastefully presented. Service is a little slow, waiters need to be professionally trained a bit. Don't forget to enjoy your hooka!
Mayuri Nidigallu
Terribly disappointing!
High prices, small servings! The staff seem to be at the beck and call of foreigners only. Also very filthy.
Doing well only because of the view, and the foreign clientele.

One of the best place I have ever found in Goa.....this place made our Goa visit really happening since we tried othr places around Baga and calangute beach...

Not much expensive......very affordable

5 star to server name Khim if I m not wrong who was very helpful and attentive throughout our time

We ordered margarita pizza and ask for extra cheese and it was exactly the way we wanted

The only thing which I dint like is tht,we ask for manchow soup on which server refused since it wasnt in the menu. I think they don't go for special requirements on which they should think if its really nt a big task

But I would still give 5 star because the server making sure b4 sayng no to the guest

Great music..... superb service and food

We tried this place on our last visit in Goa,really made mistake should have tried b4 only

Will come again for sure if ever come to Goa.....

Recommended.......

Five cheers for everything......

Cheers......

Thanks....
Had a really bad experience with them. Of my 6 days stay at Goa, we visited this place like 3-4 times because as of off season, other shacks were full most of the time.
The only good thing about this place was, it has a good view and stands next to the entry to Baga beach. Otherwise they have a horrible service, where they don't even care about their customers. We had to sit their idle and wait for them to actually notice us and then when they took our order, we had to wait for another half an hr for them.
And they were very rude at times and me and my friends had to leave this place.
After having to visit it 3-4 times, am giving it a 3 only because of that.
Lynn
this place is located at baga beach. Its a big shack beside many shacks there. the seating is arranged in front of the shack as well as inside. mostly people prefer the seats outside on the sand for an amazing view..
the food is not great but the view is definitely. place is well decorated with lightnings. its really colorful in the nights.. overall a good place for a nice candle light dinner
The Foodie
This place only advantage is that they are having sea view nothing else food is bad service is below average only loud music to attract young people.

Price-3/5
Food-2/5
Ambience-3/5
Service-3/5
Palak Jain (To Food With Love)
I visited almost all the shacks that were open on Baga this monsoon. I was in Goa last week and Cafe Laval ranked No. 1 in terms of service staff. They were cooperative and quite pleasant to talk to.

I personally like to call this one the three tier shack. Reason being the indoor part is constructed at three levels the top most having a bar right in the centre.

And seating is available on the beach as well which is turned into candle light dinner feel at night.

We went there twice. Once we sat indoors the second time on the beach. We ordered:

Cheesy garlic bread
Mushrooms on toast
Mushroom Omlette
Chocolate shake
Spaghetti in tomato sauce
Pizza topped with exotic vegetables
Beer
Hookah

The service was quick . The spaghetti was superb. I want more thinking of it . The pizza was good and made to order.

The food was definitely good the best part was the ambience. The sky above your head, waves kissing your feet, the beautiful sound of the waves rustling along the shore, favourite music playing in the background, candles flickering in the wind, the breeze playing with your hair and yummy food laid on the table.

This experience was stuff dreams are made of.

The breeze was so strong, the hookah wasn't working even after repeated coal change.

Not impressed at all. Not at all customer friendly staff. We had ordered grilled prawns (thinking it would be grilled and without gravy) but they served something(which didn't look like grilled) with gravy. When we requested them to change or modify the order, they started shouting out as if they own us. The behaviour they showed was really pathetic.
Would not recommend anyone to go to this place at all.

Probably the off season frenzy or don't know! Acted creep. It seems there needs to be a minimum bill if you sit there per couple. Per person ₹500 it seems is the "cover charge" to sit there. Means like really!!! Not about the price but that's creepy and down right cheap class. For the behaviour wont go there.

If I had to describe my experience in one word it would be 'pathetic'. The service was super slow, Food was tasteless and the staff was rude. It took them hours to bring food and check to our table. Once we paid the bill, the staff again took 20 minutes to bring back change. Worst place ever.

The place has a good outlook. Their theme is love. There are red lights everywhere. Food tastes good. Service is quick. Credit cards aren't accepted here. The place timings depend on the crowd. If crowded it stays on till late else they close early.

A decent place... Good ambience... Food taste was good... Service was a bit slow... The music playing on this shack is way better than the few clubs around... Overall a decent place and worth a try.

Most pathetic food and service restaurant. There are way better food junctions than this cafe on Baga. We ordered many non veg and veg items. But none of them was worth it as everything was raw. We even left half of the item as we were not able to chew raw chicken and breads.
The service was really poor. Food was braught to us after an hour. The staff is very rude. They gave us the servings after we were done with the dinner. Half of the menu items were not available.
So if you want to listen to just Bollywood music. This is the place for u.

Cafe Laval is among the better places to visit on Baga beach, Goa. On beautiful Sunday night we checked in this place due to very catchy tunes played by the DJ. The night was young and got ourselves nice tables with a view.

After ordering a few drinks and a chicken tikka, we settled in for beautiful evening ahead. It was a kind of place which plays music but its still in the background and the ambiance is good but not flashy. We realized this when we came to know the number of drinks we ordered that night. The food was excellent. The pricing is also at par to what they have to offer.

If shack is on your mind in Baga, Cafe Laval is an option worth considering!

Located at Baga Beach, It is a big shack or may be called as restaurant. At Baga Beach, you will be approached by the people of the shacks located, and that will make it difficult to find the is place. However look for the name in red and you will find it. It is a big shack with washroom (many don't have one). There is open seating arrangement there and then there is bar seating or inside seating. There is also decorated seating for couples as well.

The best time to visit the place place is sunset as you can enjoy the serene beauty of sunseting into sea with drink and food. They serve tandoori items, sea food, etc. And needless to say they serve drinks as well. The is good, and the service is very good, they give you sufficient time to seat and enjoy the place, also they will help you out in taking your pictures.

It is suitable for all sorts of crowd, and the time to be spent here should be 1.5 hr to 2 hrs.

After spending a fun filled day in goa..visited this place at dinner time..ahh..arrangement was too good as its on beach side..ordered sumptuous Punjabi food with breezer..relaxed over there for some 4 hours..food is OK..but as the resto is on beach..it adds up to the mood!!

Happen to visit this place strolling on Baga beach one fine evening on my last trip to Goa. One of the reason to visit the place was outside seating readily available, whereas other which I wanted to visit were fully occupied.

Cannot be anything better late at night to occupy seating on outside close to beach and enjoy drinks, whatever they may be. ;)

The Fish Rawa Fry was well prepared, devoid of oil. So task well done with that. Also it was devoid of any spices hence one can truly enjoy the shear taste of the fish. Served with cabbage salad and french fries as the siding. The only thing that went a little awry was the fish fry was very dry, which was not the issue, but was served without any sausage or chutney. When I asked for anything, I was told we don't serve anything like that with the fish fry ! It will be good if they can serve some kind of chutney preparation with the fish fry. Also the persons serving themselves are not aware of what fish they are serving or available !

The Paneer Tikka was also very well prepared. Not overcooked to prevent the juiciness and not overloaded with spices. Just enough of masala to give a tangy flavor and that's it.

The Garlic mushroom was also very well prepared. Fresh and juicy.

Not at all disappointed with the random choice. Really nothing else much to write about after the round of drinks :P But definitely a place worth giving a shot.

Went to this place on Sunday night .. It was nice and crowded , food is also ok but the service over here sucks . The waiters have no clue about ur orders and the I the waiters which are standing there simple tell u that we don't know Wat u ordered and then they just ignore u . Wouldn't recommend this place if u really want to have fun and not spoil ur mood
P.S : this place is not for short temper ppl
