Review Xavier's Beach Cafe - Baga

One of the best and most populated beach shacks on Baga Beach. The staff is very prompt and polite. Do as for vishwaraj if you ever visit here. They’ve got ample seating on the beach area with absolutely lipsmacking food and cheap alcohol. I’d highly recommend this shack. They also have a good DJ who plays bollywood and punjabi songs and a very big dancing area. They also have quite a lot of offers running on alcohol so check with your server before ordering.

Xavier’s beach cafe is definitely one of the coolest shack on Baga Beach. The food is great, I mean really great. The quantity is satisfying. We had an pomfret grill which was really tasty and the part which gets me more is that Venkatesh bhaiya who showed us the raw fish before making it for us. Also the music is really good. They had a dog too, a super cute Labrador who will sit beside you if you give good head scratches. Also Venkatesh Sir thank you for your service,we would love to visit again.

I recently visited Xavier's Cafe and was thoroughly impressed. The beachside ambiance was perfect, complemented by lively DJ beats. The service was exceptional, with special kudos to Rohit Sharma. The people there are really amazing. I really loved and enjoyed being there. I ordered some cold drinks and chicken noodles there and believe me, they were the best and the quantity was way good than the price they charged for it. They also made sure that if we had any problems or if we need anything, they will be there. I really loved this place. Peace ✌️

If you love slow music, go visit Buckingham cafe with awesome staff. And it’s really economical as compared to other shacks on beach. Don’t forget to witness the beautiful sunset here.

RED lovers this the cafe for you to enjoy the decor and enjoy the beach view with verity of mouth watering food to taste from. verity of drinks as well as hookah to choose from. best part is feeling the breeze of sea waves. don't buy any milkshake shakes its just water with flavors, relay felt like vomiting incited took drinks and enjoyed. as evening falls they provide chairs out side on the sand with good music. relay love the track's.

Xaviers is a pretty nice shack - the employees are nice and engaging (but respect your privacy). We were there for about 4 days straight, and they would look after our stuff when we are in the water. Around Xaviers is also a patch of beach which is less crowded than the either (party) ends of the beach. THE GOOD: The ambiance and shack is really nice. The food is reasonably priced for location and how good it is. Everything is pretty clean, and they tailor food to various spice levels pretty efficiently. They leave you to yourself till you order something - which is what a shack is supposed to do. THE BAD: Not much. The drinks are good, but on a little weaker side. Wish they accepted cards, especially with the demonetization going on. Could be a little louder at night THE UGLY: Nothing! Had a great time there!

Xavier’s beach shacks. They have an awesome spring rolls with sauce. I loved the food and cocktail “sex on the beach”. Sandeep served us really well. He keeps asking how’s you feeling anything else. Superb behaviour by staff. Today is 19 Dec 2020 Saturday. I am on baga beach and environment here is lightning. Every restaurant are following the COVID precautions and feeling very safe. Most importantly feeling alive after being wfh in delhi.

One of the best in Baga Beach. We were four families and we decided to go to Xavier..<br/>I had been to Goa 4 times and as per our experience in Goa, it's one of the best for everything whether its food, service, ambiance. We met owner of this resort and he was very nice providing the best service. One more thing mostlyall shacks at Baga Beach closes these days at 10pm, and only this one is opened till 4 am and the reason is the pain taken by owner in customer service. Will surely recommend every one to visit and try this place

We were recommended to this restaurant by VJ who works at the shack and what a recommendation, the best food we have had in Baga, and the best service.<br/>VJ and the rest of the staff could not have been better, they catered for our every need. Being frequent visitors to Goa, we like to spend much of our time on shacks. We landed in Goa in morning and were hungry af so decided dump the bags and head to baga. We entered through slim sand pane and just besides was this shack. We were a group of 9 pax. Got a table ordered beers and some food.<br/>A chill place with very good and quick staff. Food here is very nice and service is damn fast. We ordered butter garlic prawns, veg Schezwan noodles, masala nuts as munchies. I totally recommend butter Garlic prawns here! Amazing and the quantity was more than adequate.<br/>Being a shack expect some hot air to hit you but chilled beer always works!<br/>Cheers!

It was okiesh place. The food wasn't great and so the drinks. The Virgin mojito was very bad. One of the worst drink I have ever had. I don't know what the problem, I have ordered twice. Both the times, It tasted the same. Very disappointing!!

This is my first time in Goa and I have to confess that this is a beautiful and at the same time a very Happening Place to be (either you be with your family or with your friends). Every beach over here has got many shacks and today I stepped inside one. Tried out this delicious Chicken Crispy at Monico's Shack on Condolim Beach here in North Goa. Our order was taken and we were made to wait for 1 hour after which only 1 starter came followed by a gap for 20 mins for every other starter. We had ordered the calamari which after 1 and a half hours the service guy comes asking how we would like it to be!<br/><br/>One of the service guys had way too much attitude, and food was very basic. View is amazing, but every thing was a let down. And Yes! We were called saying happy hours and 1:1 but after sitting we were told that it's only on cocktails where each costed 500+, too expensive for the quality they delivered.

i live in mumbai where beef is banned and was craving beef streak but wasnt sure if the food would be good. food was great. ambience was very nice with colourful cabanas. i had american pepper steak and mojito. special thanks to mr vijay who works there, amazing hospitality will definately come back.

Over priced and poor service from staff. While walking on the beach they called us to have beer at a certain price...when we sat on the sun bed and checked the prices it was all on the top of roof price for basic stuff. We asked the guy who called us if he is going to serve beer at the price he mentioned and suddenly he is teaching us back that we shud stick to d price in the menu...whereas it was based on his offer that we went. Total ridiculous and bullshit service.

Bad service and extremely rude staff.<br/>The food and the sheeshas are alright actually. But the arrogance of the staff spoils the mood and the taste.<br/><br/>Would recommend not going here and walking a few steps to the adjoining shacks as there are no dearth of options at this location.

Xavier's <br/><br/>Right next to baga resto bar, our third day in here goa and after getting huh we landed here for good food we had almost all from the menu from chips , fish finger , pomfret fry , dragon chicken , chilli chicken,chicken lare , calamari fry ,chicken lollipop , pataya prawn fry , crispy pork , chilli beef , chicken fried rice , chicken noodles phew n what not , we were 9 and the bill was 6780 and totally worth ! The starters were too good had parcels too for beer at our room Sathya Narayanan

I wish if i can disclose the name but I very sure he will under if he will read this review.. Dude you sucks and you are pathetic with your hospitality behavior... Pls improve urself.. Might be no one would have told u.. But u r the worst manager or waiter I have seen.. Beggars are better than u... Pls don't come to this place if anyone view my review.

We had great time. People were very good and friendly - food was good and had very nice time for almost 7 hours there... I recommend others to try it once to experience it.

Located right on the beach . Does not have any facility other than low tables and reclining chairs placed on the loose sand. This place is not really a restaurant . It says cafe and Karaoke bar on its sign .<br/>Not suitable to have a meal. Waiters do not understand the menu. We ordered fish fingers and had to eat potato chips . Garlic butter prawn dish had about 8 prawns and costed 600 Rs.<br/>Dishes are extravagantly priced for their worth . Only suitable to have a drink on the beach.

nice place to hangout at night in baga beach, Titos lane... place is with beautiful sea view sitting and especially people who are fond of music & singing should try karaoke... if visiting goa one should visit this place.. Cheerzz.

I just visited here last week with a relative of mine. The staff was very polite, courteous and welcoming. The location is beautiful just on the Baga beach with continuous sea breeze, and a very relaxed atmosphere. We ordered Prawns in Rechiad masala with salad. The prawns were excellent and I have to say were the best prawns I ever tasted and I wanted to eat more of it. Next we ordered Pomfret with stuffed Rechiad Masala which was also very delicious. The food took a bit of time to prepare but no complaints at all - it was well worth the wait as it was so so good. We also ordered Veg. Kolhapuri which was OK but overall I enjoyed the food a lot. I will surely be back here when I am in Goa next.

Was here around 10 pm on a weekday in Aug. Pretty much in d thick of offseason. Huge open shack that offers you seating under d stars on d open beach!<br/><br/>Had d goan pork sausage chilli, pepper chilli prawns n an egg fried rice. All were simply finger lickn good. Alcohol is awfully cheap! Unfortunately for me i was done for d day so couldnt sample anymore.<br/><br/>Service is friendly n good. Ask for a steward Manoj....really helpful chap. But for d music and lack of an ambient setting...this place is a must must visit. Heard good reviews bout their breakfast too...

Friendly staff greet you and offer you good food. Ordered the prawn noodles, prawn pasta was very nice must say. The good music on the background really nice. Visit in the evenings for a quick bite and nice to relax.

Yet another random find as we walked down from Calangute towards Baga. It was late afternoon and place was almost empty. Ordered some King's beer along with a Cheese omelette and fries. We requested for some egg pakoda and finally the staff obliged and got us some really nice ones served with green chutney. Decent place and nothing fancy. I guess most of the shacks here serve very similar stuff and what matters is the service levels. I found this reasonably good and nothing to complain.

I personally found this a good sit out with friends, service is slow but yes when you are with group you hardly cares, food is good we tried prawn noodles, prawn pasta , chilli chicken, chicken fried rice and much more all taste well, but mentioned dishes speaks more. High on prices,agreeable given its location. You get to sit almost on the lap of the sea. Excellent ambience with candles on table, gives you a romantic feeling. While this joint might not be reviewed and rated by many, it does deserve a mention. Lost among the many shacks along the buzzy Baga coastline, Xavier's was a gem that we found late in the night, wandering around for spending some quite night by the beach.<br/><br/>What we didn't expect was a perfect party scene - let me say, given it was a dry day, we weren't expecting any real party scene. However, it worked perfectly for us. <br/>Karaoke plus least possible crowd :) WOW.<br/><br/>Our focus immediately shifted from a quite meal by the sea to a perfect dance party where we grooved to the music by the house DJ and also got our hands dirty with couple of songs on the Karaoke ranging from the perfect party numbers to the romantic ones.<br/><br/>Whence tired, we ordered for Prawns Noodles which were good in taste with well cooked noodles and nicely done gravy.<br/><br/>Kudos!

My personal favourite amongst the shacks on Baga Beach. Frequented this plc on a recent visit to Baga. My wife and 3 yr old kid just loved the place as we were made to feel so at home that we decided not to experiment thereafter with the others. Everything they serve is really good but I would like to specially single out the butter garlic fish/prawns/calamari which I just loved, the chicken reshmi kabab which was a staple eat with my 3 yr old daughter. Penne Arabiatta Pasta was also awesome. The usual Chinese fare is also extremely good. Typical Goan dishes like Xacuti, Curry are of course awesome. Highlight is definitely the service. We had a brilliant experience. Do I recommend this place? I say if you are in the Baga vicinity please ask where this shack is and try it out. You will be surprised to have found a real gem!

A friend of ours swear by this place and he wanted to take us here when we were in goa this time . So one night after a really tiring day we reached here . And  The  huge shack is on the baga beach . Location : I think  all the places in Goa are about the location. When you have a open place under the sky by the beach, what else do you need  for a perfect candle light dinner . The location is beautiful and perfect .Food : Well, as perfect the location is , The food is not up to the mark.  So if you just want to come here sit and drink, This place is perfect . But don't come here hungry longing for good food . We ordered the following Chicken tikka : Strictly Ok Kolhapuri chicken: Not good. Fried rice : really bland ,  it didn't look like they made any effort in making it. we didn't order anything else as we were full with bad food and didn't want to eat anymore. VFM : Again , its not a cheap place , Its pricey . They even charged us 600 bucks for hukka , which was really over priced.I would recommend this place only for the location ,  definitely not for food.

This joint ensures a nice party environment as well with a beach shack and an on-beach-dining experience.<br/>Aiyer1521 and I stopped here for a quick tummy-fill and wanted to stick to goan cuisine. We tried a few cocktails and the must-try squids butter garlic and squids masala. The weather was appropriate for a hubbly-bubbly (sheeshah or a hukkah as we know it).<br/>The food was no flash in the pan and we ordered pork xacuti with rice and the preparation was honest and we liked it.<br/>Karaoke was On and I sung a couple of songs (it was a bolly night) and they waived off 25% from my bill cos I was so brilliant.....<br/>Joking guys.. I had to pay full. ;-)<br/>I made friends with this awesome indie dog there who ate up all my food for being so awesome. Beautiful Shack located on Baga Beach with amazing Sea food and Drinks to try. Fresh Seafood was available but I found it slightly high priced.<br/>Tried Mojito, Sex on the Beach, Tequila sunset , White Russian  along with double mint flavored hukka. Best thing was Buy one Get One free on cocktails.<br/>We tried Shark Tikka, and Mussels Masala and both of themm were delicious. Went there for breakfast at around 11 am. A typical beach shack serving very average food. The sandwiches taste awful and the omlet is filled with sand. Only good thing about this place is that you can get umbrellas and deck chairs if you keep on ordering food. Not recommended if you have better options!!

Very good ambience. This shack is famous among Russians. Enjoy dance and karaoke here. There area food is awesome. Try pineapple juice here.
