Review Zanzibar Shack - Baga

Barry Raut
The original beach club even before the rest, love the new look, food is exceptionally great and so is the drinks. One of the best place to watch the sunset, begins the day or ending the day. I like the ambiance of this place, no unnecessary-over-loud- music, just nice to enjoy the lovely breeze. The food are great here, definitely should try the Cocktails 👍🏾 staff are very attentive, price are still reasonable, and it’s puppy friendly! ❤️ The staff are very polite and attentive! Toilets are VERY CLEAN! Range of seating options - beanbags, sun-beds, bar stools, easy chair seats and also plenty of shaded dining areas. Sea breeze is nice and strong which doesn’t make it too hot even if you are under the sun! Cocktails are good and STRONG! Ordered the Crispy Calamary as they didn’t have Clams, but it was just as good! No minimum spending and great music! Drop by if you can :)

It was a good experience visiting this restaurant. It has a pleasant view of the baga beach. Food items ordered were good in taste. The drinks menu was a little expensive. Overall rating: Food quality: 4 out 5 Staff service: 4 out 5

Beach shacks , the place where you can spent all day with fun , having drinks, chilling with friends, sea face view, photo shot. Zanzibar is also a shack in baga Beach near main entrance. All beaches of North goa having similar shack concept. I have been to this shack for two times, once in 2017 again on 2021. The shack provides you all type of food and drinks. You can order special sea foods. The food is good. We enjoyed a lot. The staffs are polite and friendly. Must try butter prawns.

Awesome place to chill In BAGA beach Goa. You will get from Hooka to beers to 🦀 Carbs to anything at an affordable price next to Tito lane. Peak season: November mid to Jan Mid. Will be open till 2Am in morning. Bar will be next to Beach and you can even enjoy your drink with a walk in beach. Music is tooo loud and good. A place to remember and enjoy.
Kuldip Manan
Good food. Great ambiance Great cocktails to be had The owner and his brother will look after all your specific culinary needs. Great place to watch the sunset also!

Pro - delicious food - clean ladies washroom - good drinks alcohol/non-alcohol offers. Cons - short of menu in terms of variety in both drinks and food We really enjoyed the delicious food. But slightly dissapointed since they had very few menu options.
Pritul Sanghavi
A great place on the beach. Music is really good. Food choices are good. Service was a bit slow. Slightly over priced.
Palak Thakkar
Nice beach shack at baga beach.Good for Non veg food. You can enjoy the cool breeze near sea shore with delicious food.

This Shack is on the more expensive side but here that means a few quid more, nothing much as long as you've got it. Food and service both very good. They play some good music 🎶 not one of thought cheap and loud shacks. Sit back, relax and let it flow while at Zanzibar 🍻
Sohan Bhogle
Nice place to hangout during evening. Moat of the Baga beach shacks has live DJ on Fri-Sat-Sun. This shack DJ was remarkably better than other shacks which were doing nothing but sound pollution by playing routined hindi-punjabi tracks which were not going with the overall atmosphere. Food is also nice. Sizzleres are lesser in quantity. Pizzas were good
Chintan Kamani
Everything about this place is just awesome. Owner Mark takes good care of his guests and is a friendly human.
Deepesh Parmar
Nice beach shack at Baga. We tried many shacks but we got Best food taste at Zanzibar. Must try fish tikka & prawns biryani with a chilled beer.
Jaheer M.P
Great Location in Baga Beach.. Foods bit prizy but good too.. try their sea food ..
Rustic Travel Junkie
Very nice place. Good food and great taste. Very nice supportive staff too.

Fantastic as always. This shack is situated on Baga beach. This was the best place to sit for an evening on the entire beach, good food , candle light tables at the beach was awesome experience. Food was good.
Jon Arne L. Nygaard
Very quick service. Excelent comunication with very friendly and proactiv staff. Orders came quckly and served with a smile and profecionallism. Will deffenetly visit again.

Awesome Vibrant Food little pricy comparable to Market Standards however good staff specially Ruben
Ashish Ranjan
Nice shack on the Baga Beach, services are good, food bit oily though but it's typical goan. Have some chilled beer and watch a lovely sunset relaxing on the beach.
Pragya Bhansali
Great for the feel of true goa, old fashioned n homely
Khyati Bhatia Purohit
A fab evening, dj on at every shack & the view it's mesmerizing. Rest cocktails were just ricking here.
Jaideep Kochar
Staff doesn't know their own menu. We ordered pancakes, they served crepes which really looked like a maida roti wrapped around a banana. Staff has never heard of condiments like Maple syrup which goes along pancakes.

Getting drunk and deciding with friends since last 6 years "bhai goa chalte hain" finaly came true. The wish to see the ocean wid fantastic food, fantastic view and fabulous people around. A good shack to spend ur evening wid friends. The food was on point, and so were the cocktails and drinks that we ordered..the service was pretty good, actuly very good. Taking all orders and serving food on time, refilling the drinks, and assisting wid few changes to the dishes we wanted to order. Ordered a long list of food here, for 8 people. Right from the sea food, to pork, chicken..and everythng was prepared perfectly.would surely come here again the next time we are in Goa!
Manshul Bansal
Cone here to dance to the beats till 10pm as music stops after that on all Beach Shacks. Good food great ambiance. Stop here once on your trip to Goa.
Joshua Ap
Over-priced, mediocre place with smug management. I ordered a prawn curry and got a portion size that was smaller than what you get in say Delhi! It’s Goa for god sake. You can’t charge almost 400 bucks for a measly serving of your basic Goan prawn curry.

Disappointed. Avoid this place for your own good.
Sandeep Gundavarapu
Food and service is okay. Ordered chilli chicken and fish curry rice. Both are average.
Cons:
Expensive and not worth.
Tea is not at all good.
Drinks are okay

Sowmith Manepalli
Little too costly and serve less quantity of food. The milkshakes have nothing but foam. On a good note the minimum food we had was good. The service is good.
Right on the beach, this shack provides excellent view of the shore and place is nicely lit at night time (which is the ideal time to go).
It has armchair straight chair and tent type seating.

The food quality is good.(considering its a beach side shack). We ordered Chicken wings and chicken Lollypop, both were good.
The prices are reasonable.

Will recommend this place.
Ram Subramanian
Go for pandu and Gopi ‘s massage, phenomenal and worth every penny , they are the best on the beach , go for it guys if you like a good massage
Mrinmayee Gore
This place is on a perfect location to sit and enjoy a beer but the taste is not that pleasing. We ordered prawns kadai which costed around 450 and there were 6 pieces in it. The prawns curry rice was okayish but overall the food did not have much taste and flavour. I won't recommend it because it's not cost efficient.
Rajesh Mengle
If you are in Goa, a visit to Baga Beach is a must and if you are in Baga, a candle light dinner at the beach shacks is a must.

Zanzabar will provide you with this experience. You may visit the place also during the day time but it is best visited post sun set. The sitting is right in front of the shack on the sands of Baga with a view of the arabian sea.

They serve a variety of mocktails and cocktails. The Virgin Mojito at this place is surely recommended for the non alcoholics.

For Starters, we had Chicken Manchurian and Surmai Fish Fry.

We also ordered for Prawns Fried Rice and Veg Hakka Noodles.

One must go for sea food at this place if you particularly like it. It was fresh and worth it :)

The prices are moderate for the experience you get. The food is lip smacking and the service is prompt too.
Krish
Zanzibar bar is famous for its own name
They are playing their own music and it's super
Zanzibar is most famous beach shack in Goa
People are searching Zanzibar
Sunburn festival is starting in Zanzibar only
Tejas Baldev
The good ole - Zanzibar; swiftly dwindling down on quality and service but for old times sake, I’d give a generous 3 !

We ordered a veg dish and a sea food dish. Found the food to be undercooked. Even though the staff was friendly and courteous and but the food rates are too high to justify the quality.
Happysoul
nice place for drinking beer along the sea side with some good food. great music too. great food too. The only mess up was that we had ordered prawn vindaloo and they served us pork vindaloo which was really disappointing. we had ordered for red snipper as well which was really good
Shantanu Thada
Not one thing about this place that could be bad.
This is the place to sit by the Sea side and relish yummy food.

The service is fast. They have a a elaborate food menu and decent bar menu.

Their burgers are to die for but you could skip the sandwiches as they were just standard customary grills.

Must visit but specially during the night so u can enjoy the hookah, music, alcohol and food. Great place for a couple dinner or with a bunch of crazy friends.
Amit
food preparation was not good... chicken vindaloo.. was like tomato and red chilli soup with raw chicken….....................................
Hiba Rumi
Good place, neat and classier compared to its counterparts. The food was great. Bruschetta was tummy, pomfret was brilliantly prepared with indian spices, the biryani, however, was below average. Stick to sea food when here.
HARSH PATEL
Best place to eat in baga. Exceptional Chinese food available here. Dinner experience and service is great and a must go place to eat if you are near baga beach
Vineet
A good place to have dinner in the evening by the beach. Butter garlic calamari and Chinese food is recommended. Food takes a while to be prepared though.
Kushal
The place looked good so we entered here...we were family n didn’t preferred to drink...n ordered main, Italian, Chinese in main course with some other for munching... the attitude of the server changed suddenly n he didn’t serve us while asking him twice - thrice...also we asked the guy on billing counter may be the manager...he said he will...he did it for the sake for just noodles...rest all again same on the table...bloody shit attitude n the place..have 1000’s of places which are smaller n better than this...I have been more than top 25 restaurants in Goa but this attitude no one carries...thumbs down guys...worst experience so far in Goa..though others don’t do this..😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬
Akshay Malhotra
It is situated on baga beach. They are open till 1.30 am at night. Had their boneless butter chicken which was quite amazing in the candlelit tables that they have on the beach. Overall good for having dinner.
Chinmayi M
Best continental food ..

I had white sauce pasta, I think that was the best pasta ever I had in my life.

Spring rolls were bit oily, but the taste was good.
Bhagyendrasinh Chudasama (Baggy)
A bunch of egoistic guys serving you trash and over expensive food spoiling the entire beauty of the view is all I have to say. Never going back to this place and if you are reading this don't waste your time and money at this place.
TheSirGordanRamsay
There are innumerable shacks on Baga Beach, and we picked Zanzibar primarily because it was far quieter than its neighbours and because it was really close to the beach entrance at Tito's Lane where we were staying. As it happens, this turned out to be pretty good decision.

Its a shack. Not a whole lot more to say about the ambiance.

Service was terrific. The gentleman waiting on us was friendly and kept telling us to relax and and take our time.

The red sauce pasta here was really good. We had it with spaghetti and this was way better than what I would expect from a wooden shack on the beach. We also had paneer tikka and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the paneer.

Pricing was in line with the other shacks- in that it was as surprising as the food, except not in a good way. It feels odd that a shack should charge this much, but it isn't a deal breaker.

Overall Conclusion: All in all, a nice place to spend the evening
Tanvi Kadam
Very expensive and serves mediocre food. They charge cst and gst when all the shacks in that area have cst and gst included. Bottle bay on the other hand serves awesome food very well presented and delicious. We had bruschetta which was ok and fish tikka was smelling and had only 6 small pieces of fish. Forgot to take its picture.
Anshak Singhal
One of the many shacks on the Baga beach but this one was less crowded and was visible from some distance 'coz of the distinctly lit sitting area. Can't say much about ambience which is always amazing on the beach in the evening. I went for late night snack/dinner. Food was decent and service was good too. Nothing extraordinary about the shack but still a good one to try.
Sashank Gupta
Situated at Baga beach, this place provides a perfect view of the nightlife in a beach. You can sit in this shack and just enjoy the cool breeze and watch the waves coming towards you. Went there with my friends. Ordered paneer tikka, baby corn , fish tikka, spring roll and dal makhani . Booze is cheap here compared to other shacks. Food tastes okay. Ambiance wise also good. Music good. Service good.
Aneesha Fernandes
Lovely place by the beach... visited with my family
Tried fish fingers .. fish fry with chips chicken burger calamari n kings beer.... excellent food n service...
Amit Sahoo
Looks fancy from outside. But the food is just ok and nothing special to mention. The shack becomes happening in the evenings. Service is terrible.
Tanvi Dabholkar
Whenever a visit to baga I make sure to drop into Zanzibar. Had chicken chilly this time whoch wasn't that great. White sauce pasta was nice. Service is always good enough.
Sooraj Varghese
Zanzibar was situated at Baga beach and it provides plenty of tables on beach side opening. Drinks and sea food over here during evening are really amazing. You can just feel the cool breeze and feel of BAGA. Being a crowded beach, this location is bit comfy to settle for eve. Food is delicious especially sea food.
Anand Prabhu
Extremely poor service. 2 service personnel for a huge crowd. Extremely slow. Arrogant staff. Below average food. I'd rather starve than suffer through this experience again.
Avishek Chakrabarty
The perfect place to sit by the beach, gaze at the incoming waves breaking on to the shore and sip your drink.
Food: The food is really tasty, we had Tandoori Pomfret n it was amazing. One of the best Pomfret dishes that I have ever had. Also try the mixed Noodles here it's very tasty. Over the food is good enough to drag you to this place for a second time.

Ambiance: It's good I would say. You can sit indoors as well as on the table that have been placed on the beach. They'll light up a candle which makes it look even more beautiful. The cool breeze from the sea makes it even more pleasant.

Price: Its pretty reasonable I would say. A large peg of Blenders costs 150 bucks, Chicken Noodles 250 bucks. This place is definitely value for money.

Staff Behaviour: Impressive. The staffs are very polite and are always ready with the best suggestions.

Make sure you visit this place if you are in Baga Beach.
Srinivas Prasad
One of the bigger places in the central part of the Baga beach. It is certainly has enough aesthetics to catch your eye too. A very tidy and organised place. We spent almost 3 hours there ordering food at our own pace and playing card games, and not even once were we asked if we were done. Though the menu said that breakfast items would not be available after 12 noon, they were kind enough to provide us with them well after that time. The bread omelette was good. The fries were really nice as well. A place with nice and neat ambience, good food and friendly staff. Well worth a visit
Maysa M
This is a good shack located in the Tito's lane at Baga. We read about the great reviews and decided to go here. While it was good, there was nothing outstanding about this place! The food and drinks were good and so was the overall vibe.
Baga beach is very crowded and similar shacks at Candolim and South Goa hence have a better appeal!

Horrible Experience – Overpriced and tasteless food

We ordered for Chicken Malai Kabab, Garlic Cheese Bread, Ice Tea, Fresh Lime Sweet and Pineapple juice. The waiter informed us that fresh pineapple juice was not available when we were ordering, so we agreed to go for canned variety. The only thing he was keen on was pushing the Beer Bucket – a special happy hour promotion which they were doing with kingfisher beer bottle (4 bottles in a bucket – you were paying for 3). We didn’t want it but the waiter kept on insisting. The service was really slow. The staff was busy either playing game or chatting away. After a long wait the order started coming in or let’s just say our horrible experience started. We had ordered for a lemon ice tea but god only knows what variant of ice tea we were offered – it was neither lemon nor peach (the only two variants in their menu). The fresh lime sweet was neither fresh and was very warm (almost lukewarm). The pineapple juice which they gave was hot, it was not the canned pineapple juice but looked like fresh pineapple juice (which they had initially refused). Our request for providing us with chill versions of the same were rudely refused, even request for ice was rejected.

The garlic bread with cheese was another part of the horrid experience. They had just shaved frozen cheese on the dry garlic bread. No melting of cheese, no crunchy garlic bread, nothing. Even a small outlet in my city makes better garlic bread with cheese than what they served us.

And finally the climax – the chicken malai kabab which took almost 30 minutes to come and that too after repeated reminders. (Probably they were warning us of what horrid item was in store for us). One bite and we knew what a big mistake we had done. I have been born and brought up in Punjabi hinterland and definitely know the North Indian dishes and how they taste – especially the kababs and tikkas. The so called dish which was served to us was in no way a chicken malai kabab, it was a chicken sweet dish – very very sweet, no traces of malai, yes the chicken pieces were covered in some kind of white sauce but it was very very sweet and almost unpalatable. At the time of ordering we had checked on the spiciness of this dish and were told that this was mildly spiced, but there were no traces of spice. Nothing was served along with Chicken Malai Kabab – we asked them for some chutney or something else, they refused saying that we do not serve anything with this. To salvage the situation, we firmly asked them to give us some green chutney, which was brought after a lot of dilly dallying. We added this chutney to the dish which they had served as North Indian Chicken Malai Kabab, added lots of pepper and a bit of salt and forced it down our throat.

The staff was unapologetic and very rude. Looking at their services and food, the outlet is overtly priced.

This outlet would be a big no for us forever.

Only one word Horrible, Horrible, Horrible.
Parth Ved
Shack restaurant at Baga Beach. As a first time visitor went here to chill a grab a drink and chill. The good here is not at all OK. I would suggest to try other shacks if you are wondering which one to go to.
Samrat Chengapa
Good food, but go there for the ambience which is superb! Not run of the mill crowd either, so thats a huge plus point. The prawns in red masala was good and the chicken salad nice, with probably the best mustard dressing ive tasted. Overall above average fare coupled with a great ambience!
Debashmita Chattopadhyay Banerjee
Good Food great Ambience .

Seafood was awsome. The pomfret tandoori was the best in goa . Prawn chilli was good too. So were the fish fingers. All the music and the ambience makes tge place really happening . Little overcrowded though as we were in the new years season. Great dine out in baga among the shacks on the beach.
Shweta
Been here many times whenever we visit Goa. A bit pricey compare to other shacks but food is great and quick service as well.
We had Chicken and Golden Prawns Fried and Nutella Pancake.
Deipen Bhosale
This is one of the coolest places in Baga. I can say this is even better than Britto's. What I love here are the food and service. You sit, relax, eat and enjoy the view.

I always go to this shack only whenever I am at Baga. I have observer prices at this shack are bit on higher side as compared to places in Goa and must be in other places at Baga. But the experience is always good. Service is prompt. Sunbeds are also comfortable with towel and service is also good. Dont mind paying little more for all these.
Pranav Karnik
This is a decent place and the only reason its not on the map is because its a bit pricey. It's a good location as its close to the Tito's lane, so you enter baga beach from the Tito's lane and its like 3rd or 4th shack on the right hand side. All said and done, the menu is not displayed on Zomato so you can obviously look up for other shacks which are equally good and take your decision. I had to pay 200 bucks for single bottle of breezer which at St. Anthony's(next to brittos) is priced at 150 bucks(as of today :-))

We had fish fingers which was strictly average

Crispy Chicken was good

Chicken Burger was awesome and it was heavy on price and quantity.
Varun
Visited here in the afternoon. The service was slow. Food was good . I had fish and chips , prawn curry and chicken biryani. The prawn curry was a bit disappointing.
Raminder Raj
I personally believe that Zanzibar has been an underrated place on Baga, even when it has practically everything to offer from Great Shack Food, to culinary delights, to amazing drinks and even Sheesha!
I'd think the reason for this is probably the pricing of the alcohol here, which is a little steep as compared to other shacks near and around it, but thats a shame!

Coming to my experience here, we ordered the Tandoori Pomphret, which was made to order, since sea food is what you should always have in Goa because of the freshness of it. The Fish was cook just to perfection with just the amount of white in it as needed which was perfectly complimented the spicy tangy red tandoori sauce which was put on it as marination, which is not your conventional tandoori sauce, but amazing!

We also ordered the Sea Food Red Sauce pasta, which was a delightful sight as the presentation and portion and the dish and then the quantity of calamari and shrimp in the dish was completely just making it an amazing overall dish which I'd order any day of the week!

We ordered ourselves unconventional cocktails as well, like the White Russian and Daiquiri amongst the regular beers as well. This was accompanied by a Brain Freezer Sheesha which was amazing with the cold base and cold pipe and was tended to by the server with expert care.

In all, the Beach, the Weather, The Food, The Drinks, The Company and yes GOA, just made the whole experience serene.
So the next time you are in GOA, make it a point to Curry On till Zanzibar for an Amazing Experience!
Rohit Patnaik
Nothing great about the place. Starters were great. Main course wasn't. Everything that we ordered was only okay.
Not living up to it's location.
Harshit Gandhi
Visited this restaurant last week. Service is good but environment is bit slow. Food is regular and not exceptionally tasty. Ok Types restaurant to go.
P Raj
Zanzibar is a great place on the baga beach.Good food, great music and a festive spirit on the beach with beautifully lit shacks overlooking the beach.Had a great time with kids playing in the sand whil@e we enjoyed our time there with lovely foot tapping music.
Shyam Krishnan
One of the first places we tried in Goa. Its a shack on the Baga Beach so it ticks the location and ambience boxes. The staff is very non intrusive and lets you relax without trying to coax more orders out of you. The food is pretty good. We ordered multiple starters and every one of them was well made, though the portions could have been larger. The pricing is slightly on the higher side for the portions.
Rohit Sharma
Took a really long time for the order to come. The staff wasn't too friendly either. The setting was decent though. The food was ok. Not worth coming here for the second time.
Vikram.vij
This shack was one of best in North goa.
We ordered few milk shakes which were very authentic in taste though quantity was bit less, ordered bloody merry which was surprisingly great in taste, ordered non veg burger which was also well prepared and presented.
Though all the shacks on this Beach looks similar but do visit this one too..service is bit slow I would say but not a worry..
Eat With Su
Took a really long time for the order to cine. Had nutella pancakes, which was decent. The veg burger was brilliant and worth 200. Chicken sandwich was not great either. So all in all just average.
Jasneet Kaur
One of the worst shacks in all of Goa in terms of food. Pinched hard on the pocket too. I would not recommend to anyone. We had a really bad experience.
Rumeet Kaur Bindra
Very bad food
Too pricey
Total waste
Highly not recommended
Never give reviews but I really had to put this review so that no one else suffers !
The waiter himself said that he has had food here only once because it's not good!
Ashima Pandey
I had dinner at this shack. The staff here was very friendly and cordial. Of all the other shacks I been to at baga.. This was the best. The quantity of food was less which made it look pricey. But the quality was uncompromised.
Janhavi More
I think this is one of the best beach shacks at baga... Everything that we ordered was well cooked and yummy.. Though the beverages were not upto the mark
Danish Hussain Shaikh
Located just nxt to Andrew's shack. This place is good too, nice food, nice hukka, and good service. The shacks are usually expensive but still the view u get is totally worth.
Paras Shah
This is my second home when i go to goa...Love the place...the service...the Food...Raymond(the owner) is an awesome person to chill with. Cheers to them !
Santosh Bollina
Loved the place. Went to Goa for sunburn and every morning my breakfast was here. It's obviously got a great view and the food is to die for. Worth a visit.
Prasanth Mohanachandran
Good selection of premium whiskies, good view and serves hoegaardden. And that's about it. Food is average and might disappoint. That said, didn't try the beef or pork dishes.
Tarun Girdhar
Zanzibar is a beautiful shack at Baga Beach located at a very nice location, not very far from the Tito's lane. Has very nice open sitting in the sun, has a very fine collection of cocktails & drinks, and serves very good food.

I was in Goa during the 'New Year Eve' with my cousin and one of the afternoons, we were at Baga beach when we decided to chill at Zanzibar. The place was jam-packed, but even then the service was prompt, the staff was very courteous paying attention to each and every guest.

More of less, all the shacks in a up-market tourist place like Baga beach look the same. Would still recommend Zanzibar a visit, as it is definitely worth the try !!
Subhabrata Mukherjee
Heard about this place quite a few times before going to goa. It was the first shack I visited in baga. Nice place with good service. Food prices are bit on the higher side.
Yashovardhan Bhatt
Descent place to hang out. Service is nice and friendly. Food could have been better. The place is a little expensive for what it's worth, but all in all a place worth checking out.
Sandeep Iytha
Zanzibar made news initially and was quiet famous shack on baga beach. Food was Neva good and very limited menu, its totally a different scene now as the place has faxed from peoples eye cuz they cldnt change with the times. Bad service, food common guys live up to the name.
Nida Nadim Khan
Honestly is very pricey and the service wasn't all that good.
Fish wasn't served fresh and food menu had very stale options.
A huge turn off.
1.5 for my corona ! Only..

Bon Appetit
I am super jelous of the owner of this place since I have been wanting to do this in life.. Open a shack in goa :)
The fish fingers and sausages were good. Small portions allows you to order multiple stuff.. A bit expensive but then who cares when on holiday.
Good place to spend a lazy day.
Biswajit Nayak
Had a terrible night shack time. Food was very below average. Nothing was good. Went there after checking some good reviews on Zomato. Very bad experience. Not recommending at all.
Deepanjali B Sarkar
Absurdly small portions for the price they charge. Their chilly fry goan sausages was just enough for 1, while their fish fingers were spindly and just a handful per plate. Wouldn't recommend! One plate of Goan sausages, one plate of fish fingers, 2 beer, 1 cocktail, 1 cold drink came to 1200
Arun M Balaraman
Awesome shack to chill in baga beach.. Right next to Tito's ... Excellent service .. Had prawns fry and couple of drinks... Right place to spent time if you want to chill out for long time in baga beach ...
Manu Dixit
The place is full of looters, I asked for king's beer as the price was not mentioned on the menu, I asked the waiter for the same and he didn't tell me about it until I had 6 of them which was 100. When I asked the manager I had to walk up to him instead of he coming to me. No customer service just looking to befool people. Ordered food which was also not up to the mark.

Zanzibar- full of shit.
Damodar Sonawane
You are at peace when you are sitting at Zanzibar with a Chicken Burger, A drink & just gazing at the sea!!!!
Chicken Burger was superb as well as the Drinks!!!!
Siddhant
One of my favourites amongst such places to eat and relax. Zanzibar is a good place, with good seating space and good food. Loved their food. Constaly ordered food every 2 hours for the whole day when I spent a day at baga. Never was disappointed with the food there.
Prateek Kumar
Awesome place to relax at. The food is great. The drinks are great. The mood is light. The view is nice. Just a little costly. But over all nice.
Jimmy Makkar
Food: : Tandoori fish, Bloody Mary, Milkshakes, Any kind of seafood. The food is fresh and tasty.

Ambience: Ambience here is great. You can unwind, relax and do what you want. At times they have international DJs. In the daytime it's great to unwind and get a foot massage here.
Sunileo
A place where one can relax throughout the day, eat heavenly seafood and watch the beachside without regrets. Book readers, bay watchers, seafood enthusiasts, party animals, chilled beer cravers, this is a place to visit and chill out.
Tanvi Diwan
A lovely place by the beach where you can enjoy the view, sip your drinks, indulge in some really nice food and get a foot massage or a temporary tattoo simultaneously. Prawns curry priced at INR 350 was value for money, but lacking on quantity just a little compared to the amount of rice they serve with it. Vegetarian food isn't exactly their strong point but its not entirely too bad either. The staff is responsive and soft spoken too. All in all, definitely worth visiting at least once.
Omkar Bhagwan
Good place to chill.... Co-operative staff and attentive... Finger food is good... And location of this place is heavenly feeling...!! The ambiance is not that catchy, apart from this all is quite well managed at this place...!!!
Ruta Muley
A friend back in Pune recommended us to visit Zanzibar beach shack atleast once in our stay at Baga. So we decided to have a dinner at this beach shack in our trip.

The Location of this Shack is awesome, upfront on the baga beach near the Tito's Lane...!!! You can park your 2-wheelar down the Tito’s lane Parking and walk for a minute on beach to reach this Shack.

Even the ambiance is great with candles lit over all the tables...!!! You will experience the serene view of the beautiful Baga beach while sitting here. We spent 2 hours here sipping our drinks and waiting for our dinner to be served.

Even after taking a good amount of time to serve, the food was average, not great. The quantity was sufficient for 2. But the most irritating is their Service; it’s very slow...!!! The staff seemed to be lost with regards to the content of the menu.

One of the best shacks in goa . The food is fabulous here . The staff is courteous . My suggestion ask the staff for food recommendations . A must visit when in goa and a must to have couple of meals here. Thumbs up all the way .

Spent lazy afternoons here for couple of days and the food quality is good. Good service and no waiters standing on head for repeat orders. Worth spending time and looking at the sunset !

Had breakfast here post reaching Goa early morning. Quite, elegant and serene view of the beautiful Baga beach is what you'll experience sitting on their headline chairs.

English breakfast was amazing... Sausages, bacon, taco beans ... Slurp ! Their beef sandwich is a must have.

Overall a relaxing place to spend your early mornings.

Quality - 3.5/5
Quantity - 3.5/5
Service - 3/5

This was the 1st Goan shack where we tried some sea food and I must say, we were not disappointed. Apart from the usual, we ordered Prawn Masala and Cat fish. The order was served promptly but the crew seemed to be lost with regards to the content of the menu. Nonetheless, it turned out to be nice. The quantity was also good and even though we were three guys, it was enough to fill us up.
