Review Anoshka - Bardez

Alinio Mascarenhas
This place has been around for decades serving awesome Goan food. Ordered squid batter fry, beef steak, beef tongue fry which was exceptional. Chicken cafreal was average. The sausage naan was a big disappointment, absolutely no sausages in it. Setup is nice specially for groups. Big TVs screening football. Management should pay close attention to cleaning table covers and floor once guests change, i had to reauest twice. Parking is plenty. Don’t mind visiting again.

Amazing local food. We tried the Goan cuisine and it was amazing. The service was also really good. The music was great and set the vibe right.

Anoshka's Goan restaurant in Loutolim is a seafood lover's paradise. The freshness of their catch is undeniable, and the flavors burst with authentic Goan spices. From succulent prawns to perfectly grilled fish, every dish is a delight. The rustic ambiance adds to the charm, making it a must-visit for those craving an unforgettable Goan seafood experience.

Check out @the.write.bite on Instagram for photos and videos. Enjoyed all the dishes we tried. Service was a bit slow and the ambience was decent, the dishes are well priced. Choriz pulao, mori ambot tik and fish thali were amongst or favourite, the lollipops were our least favourite. Do try the mango minx cocktail, it was delicious. They offered us complimentary ice cream as we were a big group. Would definitely visit them again the next time we are in Goa!

Have visited this place multiple times. Recently we were here for dinner on a Friday night. Ambiance: Good ambiance. They do match streaming mostly. They have also increased seating capacity now. Location: Its on Ponda- Margao Highway at a prime location. Easily accessible. Food: Food is really good here. You will find good seafood mostly but during recent visit we found that squids were not so fresh. Service: Very fast most of the times and kind. Must try: Prawns Rawa fry, Butter chicken

A great place with blend of good food, live music, great ambience and decent service. It is always filled with a lot of crowd but they just seem to have extra space to house more people. Local Goan food is the best but you have other good indian options as well. One can enjoy live football matches screening as well. Its midway between ponda and margao in the fields of Amborda which attracts crowds from both the sides. Overall one of the best places in Goa to go with family or large group of friends

One of the best restaurants in Goa; rated on the basis of staff, hygiene, food quality and quantity, price. I absolutely love this place and I've been here quite a few times. The food is always so delicious and well made, regardless of what I've ordered. It's a very welcoming place; the ambiance is calming. The staff is considerate and respectful. The price is also good. It's understandably priced in regards to quantity. It's a family friendly restaurant. And is very well-known and rightfully so. (Pictured: Chicken Garlic/Pepper, Chicken Crispy, Beef Steak)

True authentic Goan food. We had rice with fish curry. Along with that we get rava fish fry as well. All in all one of the best place to try true authentic Goan food. Another thing to mention is food is not too spicy.

Lovely place to have Goan food. There's a smile on all the waiters here plus the owners are very helpful. We just loved the food. We recommend visiting this place if you want to eat fresh fish.

If you're looking for good authentic Goan food down south, Anouska is one of your best bet!
The menu is extensive ranging from Goan to Continental to Indian, however I've tried a variety of their Goan fare and I can vouch for it.
Located by the Margao-Ponda highway, tucked away from the urban hush bush, Anoushka hosts a very relaxed Goan feel.
Mix chilly fry (sausage/beef) has a good earthy mix, is aromatic and goan at it's best!
Rawa fried mussels/prawns/ kingfish is reasonable and a good choice to go with.
Good ol' Fish curry Rice is also immensely popular here.
Fried rice/ Chow-chow is good as mains, accompanied by a gravy of your choice.
Great place to host small gatherings.
If you wanna impress any of your oversea friends with true Goan food, this is the place to get them!

Restaurants like Shardha Classic, Ritz etc offer food below 200 & being local restaurant they are charging 250 & above rates for rice plate...omg

Been here and to the other outlets many times. They serve amazing Goan and other cuisines. This one's beside a lake and the view is mesmerizing. The fish thali is massive and tasty. The beef chilly and mussels were delicious.

As u can locate this restaurant on google maps, it is located on the highway between Margao and Ponda. So it serves as a good option for lunch as it gives a good view of lush green fields and mountains in the backdrop.
I was here for a dinner and it wasn't so crowded still the waiter was very lazy and was not aware of the menu. His suggestions were the horrible ones. Pepper garlic chicken in appetizers was like 90% bones garnished with onion and lil pieces of chicken with bad taste. Chicken tikka didn't taste like how it should(I don't know how to describe that, but something like tandoor it should). Fried rice was good. Fried rice didn't require adding of any sauces, it was perfect.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant, because I had visited this restaurant a year back and it was horrible then and it has maintained its standards till date.

Excellent food. Seafood menu is rich. We get authentic Goan food. Service sometimes is fast but many a times at snail speed. This is natural as the place is always crowded, but really annoying. We had cancelled a part of the order due to delay more than one occassion.

This restaurant is go to dinning place for seafood and chicken lovers. Among the dishes that we tried, the seekh kebab were extremely mouth watering. Kingfish was very well fried with optimum spices mix. And the chicken crispy was also delicious. Good place for mini birthday parties.

Never visiting this place again & you too shouldn’t visit this restaurant. Service is very poor. Food is below average and highly priced.

What they serve completely differs from what’s on the menu. Example there was no fruit in the fish thali so when we asked they said it’s over.

Good fish thalis cost around ₹180 in Panaji/Porvorim, but their fish was for ₹250+GST

This place is good with thier food, Especially seafood. Tried thier lepo rawa fry, tongue pepper garlic, cheese garlic naan, squids masala was amazing except for the mushroom xacuti which was a disaster. Ambience is ok with enough seating. Pricing is good.must try place.

Been here multiple times and the taste and price is quite decent. Service tends be a bit slower at times. Parking is not a problem. Avoid the pomfret sizzler though.. Not good at all. All the seafood rawa fry items are quite good and tasty

This place serves amazing food. We had King fish masala, mussels, chilly garlic beef tongue. Everything was delicious. I tried their fish thali a couple of times and it didn’t disappoint. Prices of seafood are reasonable unlike other restaurants. Ambience is not that great. Service is prompt. I rate this 5 star because of their mouth watering food.
Goenchefood
Giving 5 star becoz for the amazing and delicious food they serves us.
Ambience is great and rates are reasonable for everydishes.
Seafood dishes are comparatively cheapest.
