It's a buffet place in very nice hotel of Lemon Tree Chain.

The food is nice as per the buffet standard but somehow it lacked the spreading and the amount of non veg option available.

Can try this place if want to test your multiple taste buds at one meal.

Food was served hot and fresh.
Taste was good and non veg items were more delicious than veg. ( Taste : 4/5)
Friendly and polite staff.
(Service: 5/5)
Nice initiative by hotel to include hearing and speech people in restaurant staff.

Nice ambience. And the food is just WOW!!! We had Veg Spaghetti (Extra Spicy) & Veg Penne Pasta with Pink Sauce and Chef Rohit exactly made the way we wanted it. Very authentic & very refreshing taste. This is definitely my "Sure To go place" whenever i visit Goa.

Make sure you call Chef Rohit and tell him what you want and leave the rest to him.

Never visit there.
Poor ambiance
Very limited menu options
Average food quality
Unreasonably costly.
1700 for dal paneer for 2 people (No drinks no sweet dish included)

Small sized restaurant,We ordered Penne Rigato n Chicken spring roll with beer. The taste was very good of both the dishes. The staff was very friendly specially Mr Vikas.
The cost of all this was 1500/-which I found little bit expensive but it's fine.Bottom line is we enjoyed

Very good experience at North Goa at Citrus Cafe, courtesy Lemon Tree Hotel, Candolim.

The buffet is complete in all respects, and very good variety for vegetarians- which is worth mentioning since proper vegetarian meals are scant at Goa. Soups and appetizers are amazing too. Breakfast has lot of items to choose from.

Spent 4 days and had 3 meals each day there, and was totally impressed by the courtesy extended by the staff, particularly Ms Dipi. Offered lots of flexibility, and very nicely served the tantrums of my infant, making us and the infant feel completely at home. Really appreciated the way their staff specifically asked for tastes, giving tips on tourism as well.
Special mention: Hara Bhara Kebab, Navrattan Korma, Spring Rolls, Club Sandwich, Burger, French Fries, Manchow / Sweet & Sour soups.

Special mention 2 : staff courtesy.

Would highly recommend this place and would definitely visit again, whenever I'm next at Goa.

The first thing that grabbed my attention here is the staff, some of them are hearing and speech impaired
only for this I would like to rate this place high. It is a great initiative and I noticed all of them irrespective of their limitations tried very hard to keep the patrons happy. The food was average, the variety was limited, the dessert could be skipped
. My kids had great time here. There was NO veg goan dish served. I was really looking forward to some authentic goan cuisine, this left me disappointed. The stay and the experience overall was good.

The heritage rooms are just lovely. Anyway you will fall in love with the place. The cafe has a good variety of food options. The buffet us quite good. I would love to come here again

In North Goa is the LEMON TREE AMARANTE BEACH RESORT with sixty five rooms with a few heritage rooms as well and lots of greenery around. From the front one can’t make out that it’s such a beautiful Resort as it is right on the road. With all the modern amenities the Resort is just five minute’s walk from Candolim Beach.

Rooms are very decently done up with nice colour combination upholstery and the best part was there were number of lights and lamp shades in the room, so we could brightly lit the room.

The GM, Nikhil Sasidharan is managing the Resort very efficiently for last two years.

Although we did not have time to taste the food there as was already planned elsewhere, but had the buffet breakfast at Citrus Café, had Masala Dosa, Idli, Pan Cake, Muffin and were quite okay.

The Team here was very courteous and prompt to attend.

Had a wonderful stay there !!

Visited this place during our stay at the lemon tree hotel. Had breakfast here. We didn't take breakfast as a part of our package as it's get difficult to wake up and leave the room. We reached the cafe around 11.30.
As we enterd we could see the breakfast buffet still on.. The buffet cost was only Rs 450 plus taxes.. however we opted to order ala carte as the buffet didn't look tempting.

Food:- we ordered fresh water melon juice. Then orderd Gobi paratha and a some cold cuts n sausages. The sausages n the cuts didn't look fresh nor tasted good. The gobi paratha was tasty and stuffing was generous however when I ordered one more it was not as accepted. The paratha costs Rs 200 plus taxes where you get one paratha and curd.

Now the BAD.. The curd was tangy.. I mean super tangy so when I asked to change it the server went inside the kitchen and came with a new bowl..

Now the WORST... when I tasted the curd it was the same.. chef had just added some sugar, salt and chilli to balance the taste, how ever it was still tangy. So when I confronted my server about the same and asked him why he lied to me that he has changed the curd.. he was stunned and said that there is no curd in the kitchen. NOW how can you accept a property like lemon tree run out of Curd. It was by birthday so didn't want to start my day with a bad note so just kept quite. We orderd
For tea which was done amazingly.

The service was good apart from the curd senariao. For 2 juice 2 paratha 2 tea and cold cuts & sausages we paid more than 2 grand. If We compare with over all experience NOT VALUE for money. There are many place in candolim are where one can have a lavish breakfast for this much amount.

Stayed at Lemon Tree for a long weekend. Didn't eat while sitting inside the cafe this time (did last time when we visited in 2012, food is good). We ordered alcohol at the pool bar, the bartenders were quick to make the drinks and didn't stop us when we walked around in the pool with our drinks(other hotels tend to stop people from moving around which is kind of annoying).

The reason I am leaving this review is for the service they provided at 1:30 AM. Saturday night 1:30 AM friend wants to eat maggi, we called room service and they said they dont have maggi but if we buy it and give it to them they will make it for us. Person at the reception told us we can buy it from a small shop outside the hotel and then the person in Citrus Cafe will cook it for us. We bought a few packets and then gave it to the person at Citrus Cafe and the same person cooked it and came to our room in 10 minutes to drop it off.
Food served here is good but the service they provide is excellent.

Located in Candolim - part of Lemontree Amarante hotel. Nice interiors (check out photos) and quick, warm service. Hygienic place and all food items were presented well.

We tried beer and cold drinks which were not as chilled as we wanted but they made sure its chilled soon. Ordered Pav bhaji which did not look like the normal Mumbaiya bhaji but tastes good. The Veg Manchurian was not good (too dry from inside) - they took it away and did not bill. We ordered Goan vegetable (Veg Xacutti) which was really good. Had butter nan and rotis with it which was good.

Overall 2200 for 2 adults and 2 kids (with 2 beer and one large Smirnoff) - not bad...

Good experience.

Stayed here for 4 days during this monsoon and had breakfast and dinner everyday. What really stands out is the amazing service - especially by a guy called Sandeep, who cannot speak or hear. In spite of that, he is such a live wire there and with sign language and a small note book that he carries, he will ensure that you are absolutely satisifed. Regarding food, the breakfast spread was very good, with options for everyone - right from waffles to south indian to goan to continental items! It will not be wrong to say that the food at the hotel was once of the reasons we enjoyed the stay very much!
