Review Pedro's - Benaulim

Ryola Andrade 3
Here you can get a very nice view of the sea as you enjoy your food. The ambience is very pretty. The service was good and the food was tasty as well. The only problem was the hygiene, I did find it a little bit unhygienic because there were flies everywhere and they would sit on all the glasses and food, there were crows flying inside the restaurant at times. The furniture looked a bit unpolished. But I think if you don't care about these things you'll enjoy the place. If you're with your group of friends it won't matter except the flies they are very irritating.

Good food, prompt service and reasonable pricing, what more can one ask for. The menu has beef and pork options as well. We had honey chilly potatoes, stuffed mushrooms (must try), pasta arabiata, goan prawn curry rice. All were very satisfactory and made to our specific request. There’s seating available above the ground level which gives a good view of benaulim beach. Live music and large plate portions are an added bonus.

The second generation is running the restaurant. Opens in the morning and continues till late at night. Good choice to to for breakfast or a brunch. Multiple choices are available for breakfast. English and indian breakfast colbos are available. The restaurant is location is adjacent to the beach wi5h sea facing sitting. Staff is exactly like how the Goans are with the tourists, very warm, talkative, and helpful. They also serve a variety of liquors.

Food is really good and tasty and the plate is huuuuge. I couldn't eat all the food. Drink are so good as well. Very close to the beach. Recommended.

It was a nice experience. Happening place with live music and awesome food, cool sea breeze. The vocalist has a sense of music and a good voice.

Normally I do not write restaurant reviews since I rarely eat out. On my trip to Goa, I stayed at Taj Exotica and due to the excessive heat in the month of May, I never felt like leaving the resort. On my last night at Goa, I decided to eat out as I wanted to try the actual Goan food (not the 5 star food that's priced 2x of what it's actually worth) and after researching a bit I found out this place nearby. I went on a weekday for dinner at around 7:30pm and the place was almost empty. We ordered Goan chilly chicken, prawns masala rava fry, bombil masala rava fry, prawns xacuti, prawns curry rice. The quality and taste of food was amazing. I had been to Martin's corner too and this place is a lot better than Martin's which is overrated. The waiter was really kind and hospitable. The order was served quick and didn't keep us waiting for long. I would definitely recommend the Prawns and Bombil Rava Fry. If you are staying in Taj, you should definitely visit this place once as it's a 10 mins drive from the resort. Expect to pay around Rs. 800 per person.

Great place located just off the beach. Food is good. The staff are extremely friendly and polite. Great meeting place, the beach road gets extremely busy during the sundown evening period. Lots of choice for food, soft drinks, and alcoholic drinks. Enjoy

It was lovely visiting Pedro's again after 5 years. Its my favourite go to restaurant. Their food is delicious. Been here a couple of times and was never disappointed. Please try out their fish fingers its yummy. They have a sitting on top as well where you can see the sea view. Its amazing especially at the night. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

We had dinner there during our stay at Benaulim, Goa. We considered this restaurant because of it’s review on Google. The ambience of this place is good and the music taste of the operator is very good. They infact played a qawali type song as well which was unexpected in such kind of restaurant. We had ordered : Prawns fried tide : Very Good taste and quantity. 2 persons can easily share. 4/5 Veg Garlic Noodles : Again very good in taste and generous quantity. 4/5 Overall it’s a good restaurant. You can consider this for dinner/lunch.

A nice place to hang out with friends and family, very nice and friendly waiters, Vinay took care of us and he served us and spoke to well and he knew what he was doing (from our stay he was the best waiter). Really nice food as well I are the chicken Schezwan rice it was nice and not too spicy, the menu was done designed well and easy to read.

Its one of the oldest shack at Benaulim Beach overlooking the sea - as per the current owner they have crossed 60 years and the 3rd generation is managing it now. We went around 12:30, so it was not crowded. had few beers and a fish platter with 2 variants of fish in Goan style. The place was spacious and we could have the best view of the beach.. They had managed to keep a temporary tattoo designer , so we got our best tattoos made. The owner was quite friendly and guided us with our choice of fish. Will visit again for the food and the ambience offered at Pedro's.

The years from 1978 to 1990 was our only place PEDRO'S to chill out. Lovely visiting Pedro's again after many years. The food now also is as good as the bygone days. Had a great time with the owners Pepi & Damian

I would love to give 4.5 stars for the food
But it was a very unhygienic place with a lot of houseflies and the chairs were dirty. Overall not so good experience.

The best bangda I ever had ... fresh sea food and good facilities ! The beautiful white sand beach has this cool shack with lovely food.
Service was prompt and food was fresh ! Loved being here.

Have been coming to this place since 2012. Once every 2 years, and it's been just the same - amazing!
Came with my parents, who have come here for the very first time. Both are sceptical about eating out, yeah, just the opposite of me. But well, this is our story.
First ordered Budweiser and Corona for my dad and I, and while that was savoured, in came the beef tongue, the squid Recheado, Goan Red Rice and Pork Vindaloo and Chicken Hakka Noodles.

Well, the beef tongue was a delight, thick disks of beef tongue and potato in a creamy green gravy was just the best thing to start with.

The Squid Recheado is my all-time favourite, which I tend to order everytime and at everyplace in Goa. It was succulent, flavoursome and well portioned. Just divine!!

I then placed an order for the Bailey's, which I've been wanting to have for a while now, that no doubt is one of a kind liqueur with its own distinctive fragrance, smoothness and taste.

The main course came in which was Goan Red Rice and Pork Vindaloo - Oh the taste! Soft pieces of tender pork and a spicy gravy with the steaming rice was just out of this world!

They did serve a small side of Pickle, which was homemade Mango pickle, divine with each bite and truly worthy to pen down.

Finally the Chicken Hakka Noodles came in, and it disappeared in no time! Freshness in the noodles, quantity was just appropriate, but the taste was at point!

All of this and the bill was just ₹1,999/-

I did want to have Kings Beer, but it wasn't in stock, but that doesn't take away from the fact that the service was great, the ambience, and the food too.

Cheers to Pedro's for a delightful experience!

Visited last Saturday for dinner; it hosts live music on the Saturday nights.
I found this place comparatively cheaper than the other eateries on the Benaulim beach. The only disappointment was lack of choice and availability of desserts.
We had masala fried calamaries; calamaries were super fresh and tasted great with the spicy goan masala mixture. 👌
Our next starter was chilli chicken which apparently had fallen bland in front of the calamari dish. Individually it was good, goan style.
For mains we opt for chilli garlic mixed noodles. They serves hakka style of noodles and sauces were served separately; so one can mix those as per taste. Fried garlic on the top adds a crunchy bite and great flavour to the noodles.👍👌
Pocket pinch: 1K for two.
Uparnabh Ghoshal

Probably one of the worst places to have breakfast. The waiter speaks to you like they are doing you a favour. And there are just 4 tables occupied including ours.
Samruddhi Naik
When we went it was crowded as hell as it was new years eve, noone was attending us and We had no option too.
We ordered alot of stuff but the portions were very less. The food taste was ok ok .
We ordered paneer chilly,Biryani,Mussels You can find the attached photo. All that we ordered.the taste was also OK Ok

Beach side restaurants are my favorite. The feeling of calm, the breeze. Nowhere else do I enjoy a beer more. Great food. We had an usual Goan meal but was one of the best I've ever had. Fried Lepo(sole fish) were fresh and lucious. They could have had more masala/spiciness but were delicious nonetheless. Tisryo(clams) Sukha was good but I've had better. Rechead Bangdo(Mackerel) was delectable. Flavor was spot on, I was in love. Prawns curry never disappoints and it did not. Right amount of sour and spice. You could find me scrounging for the lady fingers in it(I love those in curry). The service was a let down. Once they got us our first order no one even came close to our table. We had to look for the staff and when we spotted anyone, we had to scream to call them. Didn't matter much as we were busy chatting and had time to spare. A good experience overall.
Roshani Dasija
One star extra only for the live music with was amazing
Service was pathetic.. glasses and plates were dirty.. would give a 0 for cleanliness.
Food was worst I had in Goa..pork ribs were extremely hard and

I found a cockroach in the food! Disgusting place! Don’t visit... almost puked after seeing a dead cockroach in the food... very bad place don’t visit

Had lunch here today after many years. The same taste, superb food of the highest quality. Very reasonably priced. Service was quick and staff friendly.

a lovely place on the beach...great ambience..yummy food...the margaritas were just perfect! courteous cheerful staff! A lively band playing good music and a dance floor too!
the lady who owns the place also won the masterchef competition! so you can be sure that one will get amazing food!

This place is the go to place if you're visiting South Goa. With a vast bar and food menu and serenaded by live music Pedro's gives you the typical Goan susagad feel. The service is a bit slow but worth the wait. The butter garlic squids are to die for. Overall, I would definitely recommend Pedro's to those lazy travellers who just want to relax by the beach with good food and company. Viva!
Prashant
A good place to sit. We had veg manchurian was average in taste, we asked for curd rice.. they don't make curd rice...curd and rice is available on their menu seperately, so I think they need to send chef for training of how to make curd rice using curd and rice..in billing also we were charged extra 100rs when we asked them then they reduced the bill by 100rs, we had to go to other place to complete our dinner.

This is one of the best places to try the patent dish shark amboti. We had lovely lunch here in terms of taste wise. The staff was not to so great ! But overall food wise was satisfied.

The place is really good, serves awesome sea food, tasty, reasonably priced and well served. I’m a regular visitor here and have a good past to say.
Cedric Costa
Good food with good service but need to look into and work on Cocktails.
Everything is okay there also the menu is vast with good surroundings.
Viji Chettiar
Their service, their food and a special mention here to their COSMOPOLITAN, amazing!!! Bang on the beach and bang on the Susegad attitude. Lovely rustic old world Goan interiors and really good selection of cocktails! Never Change Pedro's Never Change!!!
Shreyashee Mukherjee
The best place to have authentic Goan cuisine... Pork is amazing...
very friendly attitude of staff and owners.
Ambience is awesome... it’s right on the beach 🏖
Gautami Hazra
The tables were dirty, chairs were stained, overall it was not a clean place at all.
Food was average. Prawns served were not fresh and very chewy.
Server was rude and argued about the prawns. Apparently prawns are always chewy which gave me this ultimate shock.
Went back to hotel really unhappy.

One place to go if ur in benaulim beach.its a permanent beach shack just by the beach entrance and is open all year down. Saved us with there good range of continental food. But the sizzler was a disappointment,it was so sweet that if ur eating sugar syrup. Rest all food was good. I loved the steak.
The Greedy Pig
We went here while we were at the beach. This place sits right on Benaulim beach. It’s a quite quaint place which serves some great Goan food.

However, we went for breakfast here. The food was good especially the sausages. Their amazing smoked flavour made me want more! We also had the cold offer, Ham and cheese sandwich and the full breakfast. The service was quick and prompt.

It’s not a very well known place I guess because I don’t see too many people here. But it’s a nice place to visit also it’s dog friendly place!
Vinay Vasudev
Visited this place for break fast and the place was empty but the breakfast was good . We tried the english breakfast comprising of omlette, toast, fresh juice . It was perfect . Also tried chicken club sandwich . It was nice but could have been better.

The place is bang on the beach with cold breeze flowing all day . A perfect place to unwind. The place was not busy with guests in the morning as it was a hot sunny day but i somehow enjoyed the quiteness of this place.

4 star to this place and the wonderfull english breakfast it had to offer. !!!!
Deepa Burman
If you are really hungry then this is not the place for you. It took them 40 mins to serve the starters after we ordered and taste was really average. Not enough waiters to serve the crowd. I am surely not visiting this place again.

On visit to GOA we kept a day for visit to South Goa. When we reached Benaulim beach by afternoon we were damn hungry. So this shack came as a savior to us. Pedro's have good variety of food in their menu.
We we're suggested to try rava masala grill fish by the waiter & I must say it was perfect choice.
The taste , presentation and cooking all were perfect. Infact the price of liquor was also less in comparison to shacks of North Goa. In case you are planning to go South Goa must try Pedro's food. Anurag Mehra

Located right on the benaulim beach, this restaurant offers great view of the sea and the sunset if you are sitting in the right area. You ll get good mocktails, goan specialities as well as continental dishes here; needless to say beer and other stuff as well.
The staff is very courteous and the owner will come and speak to you with keen interest.
Sanjana Shah
One of our friend recommended this place.
It’s just in front of the beach, it’s a spacious restaurant with some amazing view.
For food we had beef & chicken chilli for starters.
For main course we ordered chicken pasta , butter chicken & chicken tikka.
Food here is good although pasta was bland in taste.
Goan food would be a must try at this place.
Goan music makes the environment even more soothing.

Best place to take revenge

Worst food in Goa

Don't go you will disappoint

Food quality is worse,
Better skip the place and find other restaurants

One of the worst and bad taste food experience we had. We ordered Egg salad which was taste less. Then ordered Big fish masala fry which was not at all good it was not fresh and not even hot. i think they jus boiled fish and dipped in masala no spicy nothing in it...then Chicken lollypop somewhat OK and our mind stopped thinking further to order.. Even we inform the one who serves us even they know about there food quality asking us to try Goan food.
Austin Coutinho
Didn't really know much about the shacks at benaulim beach. This and Jonhcy's were the first we saw. And decided to try this out. From what I've heard this place used to be really famous for its Goan cuisine but isn't anymore. We only had breakfast. A Chicken Ham Sandwich and Cheese Omelette with some cold coffee. All were decent.
Fatguy
I was surprised when i saw avg. 2.2 rating for this place😐. We went to the beach in sep 15 there was not of much option opend as it off season but found this place still open. We were carving for a good egg sandwich, when we asked for it although it was not in the menu but they agreed to prepare it for us. They also asked for how we want it and justified the recipy we asked for. Had some finger chips, egg sandwiches and few drinks. The solitude of the beach and the food and drinks along with some good service made our evening. I hope they keep up the good work and get good ratings that they truly deserv.

When you get to the parking this is the first restaurant you see on the right so naturally you move towards it. But heed my advice and move away from this place. The food at best here is average. Nothing to brag at all. Seafood, Chicken Starters even French fries at this place was not good. Who serves cold french fries anyways? Liquor is as usual per Goa Standards. What i enjoyed at this place is the ambiance since its bang opposite to beach with a sea view. However i noticed that it was not as clean as i had seen other shacks on the beach. On top of it we got a grumpy guy to serve us who literally frowned at whatever we asked. Hopefully i am not going in here again.
Irfan Huda
Poor service, grumpy waiters, poor food. My first visit to goa and it happens to be the first place i happen to visit. They Don't take card payment for less than 1500.
Kannagikhanna
Horrible food, horrible service and bad attitude of the staff. Wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. There are much better places. Don't waste your time here.
Russell Perris
Everything about them has gone down. The food use to be amazing here. Now it's only good for ambience sometimes. Went in last week and got out in a few minutes. Owner, arrogant friendly.
Smita
Pathetic food.....pathetic place... very bad!
Very very bad....please don't even try
Mocktails was yaaaakkkkk
Fried squid was pathetic....not even fried properly.
I found small small parts of hairs
Robin Paul
This is the first restaurant you see from the parking lot. Usually you will make a bee line for it, like we did...because we were hungry. The place a beacj shack of a permanent kind with a fixed roof. So cleanliness, decor etc. Is not much to comment on. If you come here fix your attention on the sea or the cover versions of 80's songs playing. Food i dont want to comment save we were disaapointed and only liked the beef vidaloo we ordered. The rock fish, prawn pulao, chicken xatuti and roti's and ice cream get minus marks.
My driver told me there is a better establishment few metres away, closer to the beach and starts with J. Wish he had told us before...
AD Amitabh
Ordered for biryani. Aroma was nice but the taste was ok. Of course it was a tawa biryani.
Taste was ok. Would definitely recommend for Goan dishes but not North Indian cuisine.
Live music makes your day on a Saturday.
Lively decor.
Rachel Rodrigues
Extremely bad experience.
The music was very loud and drunk men from the bar side of the restaurant were making a ruckus and dancing and singing while the families were trying to eat. Very unruly behaviour and the staff did nothing about it . the food was below average.
Elesbaan Pereira
Beachside restaurant located near the main Benaulim beach.
The food here is average, for starters chicken chilly is ok and the seafood is fresh. The main plus point for this eatery is the location which settles your mood quickly. Okay for a one time visit.

Taste: If you are in Benaulim this is a must visit place.. among the very few eateries this is a gem.. I absolutely loved the food.. The pastas were silky, rice flavourful, paneer preparation amazing.. Fish was fresh and tender..
Service: They have awesome servers.. One server from Nepal was character..😂
Ambience: Beautiful serene white sand south Goa beach.. there is live music and great lighting to build up the perfect mood..
Value for money: This was very affordable than hyped places of north Goa..8/10
Adley Almeida
Wen ur in South goa, you have to visit this place....located on d benaulim beach itself, Perdos is one of the best restaurants in Goa which offers fresh seafood along wid delicious beef and pork dishes....
Always wen I go goa I make sure to have the beef roast and sausage chilly fry wid fenny....
But this time was unique.....Pedro's has their own reciepe for every dish.... The seafood and tongue we had was outta the world and adding to it the fresh cashew fenny.....our evening was sorted....we also tried the bebinka wid vanilla ice cream :)
Medium priced, professional servers and a good beachside ambience....wat else do you need!!!!!

Visiting goa means relishing Goan food. Me and my friends were craving Goan good from the time we reached goa until we bumped into Pedro's restaurant at the Benaulim beach. Absolutely amazing and authentic Goan food. Every dish we ordered was to die for and every plate it came in went back empty. The chef is a Goan lady who deserves a standing salute.
Asha Josy
The service is bad. The waiters are more interested in getting tips from big customers like foreigners and large family groups. They fail to see the small family customers. Food is ok. But not worth the wait. Need to get a floor manager or someone like that.
Aritra Chakrabarty Sengupta
Goa symbolises the sea, the sandy beaches, the colourfully clad firang and desi people and most importantly the elaborate and palatable Goan cuisine. Few weeks back we were in Goa and for the 4th time. As expected we have had our share of site-seeing in our former trips, so this one we wanted to convert to a foodie delight. We started off with “Pedro’s” on the scenic Benaulim Beach of South Goa.

It was a beautiful moonlit night and the sand was shining ceremoniously in its imaginative luminance. When we drove down to the place from Varca, it was around 8:30 pm. But as September is off season for Goa as a travel destination, it was relatively sparsely populated. The staff was extremely cordial and sweet and since there were not too many to be attended, we were quite pampered.

We started off with "Masala Crab" and when the red hot crab cuisine came, we were left gasping for breathe. It was tasty, tangy and most importantly "HAWT". So to neutralize the tantalizing effect of the crab we ordered some less spicy "Masala Prawns". Both the dishes were undoubtedly delicacies and we enjoyed every bit of the red eyes and flowing nose. We had also ordered a cocktail "Jamaican delight", which was a yummy citrus indulgence with vodka. And then to top it all, we experienced flavoured hookah, me for the first time.

Life is a journey and sometimes when I look back, I appreciate the importance of uniqueness. Pedro's is undoubtedly not the best restaurant in South Goa, but its location by the sea on the serene Benaulim Beach, its friendly and chilled out atmosphere and the magic of time has made the experience unique to me. Do visit the place next time when you are in Goa.
Sandeep Chaudhary
Went to this place yesterday night with friends. Worst pomfret that I ever had. Tomato soup 'bad'. Pomfret 'worst ever'. Chopsey 'bad'. Nothing good except music. There should be option of negative rating on Zomato for these kind of restaurants.

1) Situation: **** : Well situated in border of sea.
2) Toilets: *** : Clean.
3) Ambiance: *** : Fresh, slow volume music.
4) Table: *** : Good presentation.
5) Food: **** : Good taste, good presentation, Quantity very good.
6) Staff: **** : Polite and very good service. Thanks.
7) Bill: *** : Not much expansive regarding quality and quantity.

We spent good time. We will come again.

The place is quite open as it is a beach-side restaurant. It may feel a bit chilly at times though because of the strong winds. We ordered pork ribs and prawns balchow. The pork was just delicious. It came off nicely and was perfectly cooked. The prawns were tasty but could have been better. We ordered for a starter as well but that was just okay. Still, a nice place to chill in South Goa by the sea.
Sonika Agarwal
Located near Benaulim beach, we went here for tea and snacks. It's a quiet and peaceful place by the beach. It was not very crowded as we went in the off season which added to our pleasure. Food is tasty and just great!
Marjorie Pereira
Pedro's has definitely lost its charm.

The food was terrible. The calamari batter fry was drenched in oil! We actually dissected the squid from its oily jackets. The fish fingers were dissapointing, the fish was definitely not fresh fish. The paneer chilly fry could have been a hit but, no! The chef decided to drench this dish in oil as well!

We did not want to risk another heart attack on a platter, hence decided that was it.

The choice of music was deafening! We could not wait to get out of there.

For those who are so drunk they'd even eat a marshmallow and say it were cheese, this place would probably be heaven for them.

Utterly dissapointed!
Prateek Singh Bapna
Another beautiful restaurant on the beautiful Benaulim Beach. We were there for lunch, so the place wasn't crowded at all. We ordered Paneer Butter Masala, Daal Fry and Butter Naan. The food tasted nice, but the service was slow (maybe because the staff might be in resting mood :D). Prices were nominal and ambiance was good (calm with sea breeze flowing in the restaurant). I liked the place and would suggest a visit.
Maharshi Yadav
Recommended: Shark fry and macrel salad
Ultimately cooked and the best fish you would ever have !!!
Eating great food with the sea breeze 😍
Just heavenly :*
Happy Fooding !!!
Anup Kelkar
The word "average" is what describes this place perfectly.
The view is the only thing that stops me from giving it a poor rating.
Don't bother coming here if you're craving good food.
Jatin Bajaj
Goan masala fish had tomato ketchup n top.. Spoilt the whole taste unfortunately.. Batter fried squid was too much batter and too oily.
Drinks were ok.
Suman Saurav
I always had this and will always have this place as a special one in my heart. My love story started and bloomed here. However slowly and gradually the service and food started getting deteriorated. And I stopped visiting since. But as I mentioned earlier, that this is a special place for me, just for that, I am rating this with 5 *****

Pedro's is one of the most amazing places to enjoy the shack culture in Goa.Overlooking the Arabian Sea one can enjoy the best seafood here along with the authentic Goa cuisine.A bonus on the festive season is the amazing karaoke live music.Surely one of the most pocket friendly joints to enjoy a lazy evening, whether you are with family or friends.
Kashmira More
We didn't try food but went for Wine. We were the last table to close down the restaurant but server was nice and stayed back for additional hours. When he finally gave up, he served us couple of wine bottles and slept on the table next to us .. lol
We woke him up early morning for billing .... unique experience.
Pdinc
Expect to get Beef served accidentally as a Hindu, or Pork served accidentally as a Muslim. Despite explicit - and multiple reminders - about religious dietary restrictions, the waiters not only did not heed our instructions, but justified it as an acceptable lapse. Service, as other reviews have indicated, was terrible as well, with more than half an hour elapsing since our order before anything - even water - reached our table.
Hardik Bhayani
Food is aswm.!! Cocktail and mocktail also test is good .!!!! Service awsm and i like main course food and this food is best in goa... ..!!!i
Tathagat Verma
Foremost, the service isn't just bad, but pathetic.

The waiters are rude and don't really care or relate to the concept of service.

We had a really bad experience.

The food is nothing much to talk about.

The "pakodas" had hair in it and the fact that instead of being apologetic & professional on the matter, they were arguing and that was just unbelievable.

The place has got a great view. Which is obvious as it is located on the "Benaulim beach".
Leeroy Jenkins
Been going here since I was a kid. And so I can say I haven't seen or heard of any rudeness from the waiters. I've only seen them being friendly. But since they change every season, perhaps the other reviewers had bad timing. The food is pretty good. Try their prawn/fish balchao with rice, the traditional fish curry rice, or their steaks.
Asheesh
Right on benaulim beach. You can't miss it. Food is alright. I was disappointed with calamari in butter garlic. It was too dry. Service was impeccable and friendly. Cost is same as most other places. Good place to chill with family or friends in the evening.
Pathik
Service Staff has an attitude problem. Food is OK though. Service with a smile is an alien concept to this shack. Better avoid if looking for a wholesome sea side dining experience.
Karan Dharaiya
Food was greasy and unnecessarily spicy.
Ordered Goan Chicken Chilly for starters and it tasted more like street 'Chinese' food in India rather than Goan.
Ordered Prawns Kadai and Roti for main course and again, pieces were less than average and curry was alright. The rotis however were chewy.
The vegetarian main course (paneer makhanwala and dal tadka) both were oily and the former contained a lot of food colour.

Meh. Not worth visiting.
Amit Companero
I had been there few times for dinner food was good and prices are also ok but if u are Indian they can deny of your reserve seat for white people.
Aditya Menon
HUGE attitude problems.

Made the mistake of walking into this place one January afternoon.

Don't expect polite service: unless, of course, you have white skin.

The waiter had a major issue serving us, whether allotting a proper table, or telling us what's available, or even just talking in a non-brusque fashion. Next table with a few white folks had no trouble getting decent service.

We weren't a pack of wolves either - just a couple dudes with no alcohol in our systems!

Walked out ordering nothing - there were plenty of other shacks nearby happy to take our business with really good food.

I guess few things ever live up to hype.
Darrell Pinto
Great place to chill in South. People forget North Caus South is the ne North. Good food, reasonable alchohol and open during off season what else do we need??
Aaditya Wahi
I really loved the ambience and the food. It has a great location and very musical nights. This restaurant surprises you with the variety of food which includes authentic Goan delicacies, Chinese, and continental. Pedro's is a perfect place to have a scrumptious dinner and a laid back lunch. I really recommended this place if you ever do visit south Goa. Cheers. :)

We used to visit the next door place quite often. Don't know why we didn't try this one before. It's speciality is Goan food. Try the cafreal, rechado, fried fish (ask the waiter what's fresh), fish curry rice, pork sausage chilly fry and the like. All the Goan masalas are homemade and don't have the typical restaurant taste. A simple fish curry rice comes with pickle, papad and Kismor. If you want to eat Chinese, go someplace else. It's right on the beach so good ambiance. The karaoke was good too. Not like other places where all drunkards cry hoarse in the name of karaoke making the dinner of the rest a painful experience. Good place for Goan food enthusiasts.

Have been to this plave once and ordered goan food. The food was average in terms of taste.
A nice place to visit due to its proximity to the seashore.

This restaurant has recently undergone a bit of a renovation - location is the same, but it has now got a tiled floor and is less of a shack and more restaurant.
Food is mostly Portuguese Goan in style, and is tasty. Service could have been a little quicker at times

Pedro's is one of those long standing restaurants that have stood the test of time. Not a place you would visit every week. but once in a while. Like the general decor of the restaurant the quality of food also has withered. Service is dreadfully slow. you will have to wait and hour for fries. But since it is on the beach there is no problem killing time. Prices are sky high and cleanliness is poor. Wish they would pay more attention to ambience.

Still in the age of slavery I guess. We went there in the evening and asked for two cups of Tea. An expat family arrived a few mins later and ordered. Half an hour later our tea never arrived! And their orders kept coming. Limits! We just left.. never goin back...

Probably the best place and a must at my favourite Benaulim beach. Evenings are the best time to visit Pedro's. Tuna Raechhed is a must try.

I had breakfast here with my family. Had unpleasant experience as regards food stuff. Nothing impressive at all. Poor service with not very courteous staff. Not a recommended place.
