Now a days a quiet ambiance is what we long for while dining out. The Royal Afghan completely fits my requirements. A serene, poolside, relaxed seating arrangement will certainly give you the old club charm. They have plenty of different options available to drink (hard and soft). They have a frontier food menu, dominated by non veg options, but have options for veg lovers as well. Different kebabs are their expertise. One point to remember is that biriyani is not available to keep the flavor intact, but you have different versions of naan and paratha to complete your choices. On request, plain rice is available. The sweet section is limited with Kulfi, gulab jamun, phirni, rasmalai, etc. The test of food is unbeatable with subtle aroma. It is non greasy. We mostly ate Kebabs with butter naan, Sikandari raan, made with lamb is a famous dish, but you need to have a good appetite. Portions are enough for two people. Certain kebabs are a bit spicy to our taste, but that's how it is to maintain authenticity. Service is very quick and attentive. Noteworthy mention is our guide Mr. Shankar. He knew all the dishes in the menu card. Very helpful, to say the least. We also had the opportunity to meet the chef in the house, Mr. Bajrang, interacting with the guests to take feedback. It was very nice to see this culture of Indian hospitality. Finally, we ended our dinner with paan, another fitting end after a heavy dinner. A must visit for all who love a fine ambiance while dining out. For me, this was perfect 💯!

Beautiful ambience, try getting a seat by the pool for your dinner dates etc. The service is royal, as the name suggests. Food delivery takes some time, but the wait is worth it. The Dal bukhara is next level, and is a must must try! The kebabs and the desserts are also too good. Try ordering one thing at a time, as food is extremely heavy and is one of the tastiest in the city. Ours was a set menu and you cannot pack bag the food in a buffet or a set menu too. Dishes are expensive and is ITC standard. Ps : You would get a cute apron to wear and eat:)

This restaurant is located within the ITC Windsor - you will be amazed to see the hospitality here and the ambience is very amazing. It's by the pool side and you have a wide menu here. Try out their tandoori items and go for a buffet only if you are very hungry else go for the al-carte menu. Food was good - you visit here for a good experience and try visiting here in the night as you will enjoy more with the poolside ambience here.

As always excellent hospitality by the servers , the location outdoor and by the pool is very pleasant and the food is legendary! I tried the tandoori pomfret, daal and rumali roti with a fresh lime soda, all of it was awesome!

This place was so wonderful, we really wished we could have gone back. It's under a roof, but no walls, so it's very garden feeling. We sat on the edge, adding to the garden feel. Parakeets roost on the tree near the entrance, which was so cool for us to walk by. We started with an appetizer-- baba ganoushesc. Delicious! A touch more on the spicy side than we usually get, but the richness made it so we didn't care. We could have eaten it every day. Our lamb kabob, peshawari kebob, was also spicy, but surely flavorful. One of the best kebabs we have ever had. Kind, charming, helpful staff, as well. If ever we go back to Bengalaru, guaranteed we will eat at this restaurant-- even if we end up in a different hotel.

Ambience The sitout is next to a pool and a huge tree which we fell in love with. They have pool facing and indoor sitout. Not the best of all the outdoor sitouts that we have been to but it isn't bad either. We had a few people swimming while we went there which wasn't the best view during dinner! Food We picked the Veg meal package which included starters, main course and desert. The paneer tikka is the best I have had yet. Extremely soft and almost melts in your mouth The kulfi was excellent as well. Dal Bukhara which is their speciality is a hit or miss based on the individual. I liked it but my wife wasn't a fan. It doesn't have an overtly done up spices and has a taste of its own. Rest of the menu was good but nothing outstanding. Service The staff were polite and welcoming. Right from the time we entered the lobby till the end of service they were courteous and professional. Only gripe is that it takes a LOT of time for food to arrive. We had to wait a long time for starters and after we were done it took some more time to get the main course again. This almost killed our hunger and we lost our appetite waiting for the food. Price It costed us 3100 per person w/o tax for one veg meal. Comapring the food and choices of dishes offered, this was higher compared to the other similar restaurants that we have been to. And we would like to thank the entire staff for the complimentary anniversary cake. Sincerely appreciate the gesture. And the pastry was fantastic! :)

had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was lovely, with a perfect balance of elegance and comfort. The staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel welcomed from the moment we stepped in. Now, let's talk about the food - it was simply outstanding! Each dish was a masterpiece of flavors, and the presentation was like a work of art. Whether you're a food connoisseur or just someone looking for a fantastic meal, this restaurant will undoubtedly leave you satisfied and eager to return for more. Highly recommended

Paneer tikka, daal Bukhara, kasta rothi, my usual choice at ITC restaurants. Stuffed aloo, paneer makhani and onion kulcha too are good. Delicious food. May be, do not match Bukhara, but definitely value for the money. Good, prompt service.
