Review Kava - Bengaluru

Muhibullah Shah Pahelwan
Had been with Family on the eve of Christmas, Dinner buffet The location is near LuLu Mall, Rajajinagar. Tried Buffet here, Buffet options are limited. But the dishes are tastier than I expected. Fish fingers, Kulcha, Naan, Dal makhani, curd rice, Paneer dry, Bhendi fry, Palak soup, Rosagulla, Halwa, are must try. Service is not upto the mark as per Marriott standards. Deserts aren't good except Halwa and Rosagulla. Chef Prem who's responsible for managing dishes helped us with food. Staff Shrijan supported us from welcoming till we depart the restaurant. No Valet parking offered, Hotel Reception is very small, Bar/Mocktail section is very very limited,

I stayed three weeks at the Fairfield Marriot and had breakfast almost every day in the Kava. The food was excellent and with enough options to choose. The staff were always very kind and attentive to my requests; specially Mingma at the desk and Anoop. Chef Yola (hope this is how it's written) always with an excellent attitude and bringing great dish tatsters to the table. The guys at the omelette station did a great work preparing the food also. A very clean and comfy place. If I have to return to Bangalore, definitely this will be my option to stay.

Kava, a buffet restaurant is best known for its luxurious food, hospitality and service and our experience at Fairfield By Marriott Bengaluru, Rajajinagar was exactly that. Cozy and Chic Ambience. It's one of my favorite dining places to visit. I had been here with my girls for the Sunday Brunch, loved the pleasant vibes while entering. Once we were seated, we were greeted by F&B Manager Mr. Kartick Moral who warmly welcomed and helped us to make the day as a special one. Service by Mr. Chakri was remarkable. Food at Kava was without a doubt the best array of delicious food I've ever enjoyed in my whole life ! Buffet layout was amazing and everything was well managed and just perfectttt. The Service is superb, The staff is very nice and welcoming. It's not the stars which matter, rather it's the culture you live in, that matters. Everybody was nice, concerned and provided great service. Be it meals or variety or taste or quality.... everything was in perfect blend. They have a multiple specialized counters ranging from Indian, Asian, Continental, Salad bar, Desserts and a live pasta, pizza and chaat counters. Very extensive & elaborate spread. The food is not only visually appealing but also tickles your taste buds. The dessert spread was also never ever ending. Also offers alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from its bar. We tried mocktails, paneer tikka, cheese balls, pani puri, tikki puri, pizza, pasta, pastries, rice, rasam, curries, breads, salads, fruits, curd rice, lots of desserts, halwas etc. etc. etc With its upbeat ambience and mostly efficient service, this restaurant is a nice choice if you’re looking for a good buffet. Overall, the experience was a joyride for the taste buds, you would think you have had quite a variety of flavours and there couldn’t possibly be more but then you’d be proved wrong the second you taste the next dish. We would definitely want to come again for this rollercoaster of flavours. *The Sunday BRUNCH was worth every penny. (It costs Rs. 999 + taxes per person) *Impeccable food. *Amicable staff. *Live Music. *Must visit place for all the foodies to devour the divine indulgences.

Excellent brunch space to visit with family or friends over the weekend. The interior and ambience very modern and had beautiful setting. The music was nice and lively. The spread of food was very extensive, beautiful, good texture and delicious. The food varieties ranged from South Indian to North Indian cuisine, Italian to Mediterranean. All in all the best of all cuisines were served. They serve very good mocktails and cocktails.

Good place - Good Ambience - Good food. I went for a buffet dinner and paid through Zomato. For the food and ambience, the restuarant is a good deal. Staff is also courteous and takes good care. Food tasted a little bland, but was good overall. Spread is not excellent, but not bad either. Plus points for not unecessarily adding Service charge. I Would suggest to pay through Zomato pro or similar apps to get upto 30% discount.

Kava is one of the fine dine authentic indian cuisine restaurants present in Fairfield by Mariott rajajinagar. The ambience is very decent with a huge seating capacity and a large variety of dishes to offer in the buffet. To start the buffet we were served the papdi chaat which is one of the best i have had in bangalore. Then came the dahi puri which was also very good and not to forget the paani puri. All the varieties of chaats are just amazing. We were also given a basket of crispy papads to savour. Then came in the non veg starter platter which contained of variety of tikkas and fish, the fish was not of a very great quality but tasted good. The tikkas were marinated very well and cooked to perfection. But one variety of them contained bones which I didn't expect to be and was a little disappointing. For drink, I had the watermelon mint mojito which was just absolutely amazing. Then we were served pav with chicken kheema which contained butter toasted pav which was mind boggling. We were also served makke di roti and sarso ka saag which was the highlight of the evening as it was out of the world good. For main course, I had zafrani murgh pulao and kukkad da makkhan wala. The pulao was spicy just the way I like it and the curry was just the perfect combination I needed for the pulao. Then I also had the steam rice with rasam and it just reminded me of how it was made at home. Absolutely brilliant. To go to desserts, I had the garam garam jalebis, moong dal halwa, gajar ka halwa and a variety of pastries. All of them were very good. Except for the fact that the gajar ka halwa was a bit dry. Do visit this place for a very hospitable staff and experience along with awesome delicacies

Had a really good time at kava. Went with my family for a brunch. And we all loved the variety of food, there was something for everyone’s taste buds. Loved the boti fry and tatte idli. All live counters were also amazing ✨ Pizza counter is a plus too. You can make your own pizza with choice of toppings. Cocktails are great too. Good for family and friends get together. It is centrally located which provides a good access.

Went to this place for a Sunday brunch and had a gala time. Soothing live music, classy comfy decor and some good food and cocktails will totally make your mood elevated. The service and the hospitality is just top-notch over here, they work hard to make sure that the guests/customers are having a gala time there. The menu is quite elaborate here. Have a number of good starters and main course. Want to make a special mention about the canelloni and the mangalorean masala pomphret served with ghee rice. The chef made some amazing mouth-watering galouti kebab which was unexpectedly one of the best i have had in Bangalore. Last but definitely not the least, the nalli nihari served with some garlic kulcha: soft, succulent and very well cooked, utterly delicious. The cocktails and desserts were pretty decent as well. Overall an amazing experience, would love to visit again.

Was searching out for some Sunday brunch and found this place on zomato. This place serves some delicious food and has a top notch service. I opted for buffet with mocktails which comprises of veg, non veg and unlimited mocktails. In buffet they have 3 live counters for Pasta, Pizza and Chats. Coming to the food part, the place serves some delicious food. I personally tried chicken tikka, panner tikka, boti with tatte idly, chole kulche, dahi puri, Mangalorean fish curry, Dal makhni and indian assorted breads. All the items were freshly made and served. I really loved the buffet items and would recommend to try them out. Mocktails were also made to the perfection and had a great flavour to it. Looking forward to drop down again soon :)

KAVA serves an array of North Indian and Continental cuisines , and drinks. The lavishness included- live pasta/ pizza station, chaat counter, make you own salad nook, and nearly every dish you can think of in starters and main course . For people with sweet tooth the desserts station is nothing short of dream come true. From cakes, pastries and puddings to moon daal halwa, gajar halwa, ras malai, the entire spread sure is an extravagant affair. The live music throughout the early afternoon adds to the whole experience. KAVA at #rajajinagar, #bengaluru, is exactly the one you must want to visit for all your Sunday Brunches.

Visited this amazing fine dining restaurant during makarsankranti and they had decorated the restaurant with kites (patang). Which gave us a feeling of the festival. They serve alacarte and buffet both. So if you want to try out some good verity of food then do try there buffet. Had - Chat papdi, pani puri, sev puri and dahi puri. As a welcome drink they served a thandai. Nice and refreshing. Malai Paneer, arbi ki tikki and corn tikki. Loved the corn tikki Maki ki roti and sarson ka sag was the day special dish and indeed it made the meal special. There's a lot more to try like a paneer and mix veg gravy, rice itmes and salads but we were already full so had to skip alot of things. Desserts again there is a very good verity. Do try the best one jalebi with rabdi. Blody marry- a tomato based cocktail. Good to give it a try. Food-4.5/5 Service-5/5 Ambience-5/5
