Review Sattvam - Bengaluru

R Yash
One of Bangalore's fine restaurants serving only vegetarian fare, with no onion or garlic on the menu. Lovely pure veg restaurant. Situated on the 4th floor, nice quite locality. Hidden from the main crowded main road. We had been for lunch . Just loved the overall service quality of staff right from making a reservation over phone to arriving there and requesting a suitable table. Food was superb , soup and starters about 4-5 varieties served at the table all were good. Main course numerous options including two types of pizza and 2 Chinese but Indian food options lot many and everything I tried was tasty though we can’t try all :-( The desert section was vast & very yummy treat for the eyes & stomach. Overall a very good veg restaurant Must Try. Must go for lunch with out having breakfast @morning, then you can taste all foods .😊

Hey! Recently visited sattvam to try their pure veg buffet and I was impressed with their quality, lip smacking taste and variety. From starters to desserts everything had enough variety that you’ll be spoilt for choice. The Indian and Chinese starters were very tasty and were served at the table , they also had a mezze platter which was a new thing. The momos, paneer and spring roll were my favourite. They have a live pizza pasta counter which I loved. For main course I loved all their gravies are they were extremely tasty and creamy , went well with her butter naan. Finally the main part which was the best and had most variety-desserts!!!! They had many indian sweets like jamoon , lauki ka halwa, chocolate pastry , honey cake , blueberry cake and chocolate fountain We then finally ended our meal with nitrogen paan. I totally recommend this pure veg buffet for good food and great service

Birthday Party Organized at Sattvam Party Hall. Had a great experience from initial planning to the end of the event. Banquet hall manager was very professional and corporative in the arrangements. The food and amenities were all well organized. Highly recommend this restaurant for birthday parties.

Just superb. You can Just relish the pure, clean, healthy food. It is on the ideology of ISKON. You get good, organic pure food, but no onion and garlic in the dishes. Am sure even a non vegetarian person would love to eat over here. Huge seating area, aesthetically superb, service marvelous. Soup and starters are served on the table. Oh! Yes even Jain dishes are served. For the main course buffet spread is laid out. Mouth watering, sumptuous Pani Puri (you have to add the ingredients and eat). Various chats, salads, tasty Dals, Various dishes of rice. Papad, Rotis and a marvelous spread of pastries. If you are a sweet tooth person you will love the pastries and the Indian sweet meat. Yes, even a bash of fruits. You can have come ice cream with toppings of your choice - mango, starwberry, chocolate, chocolate chips and 'n' no. of sweets. Children would love. Last but not the least they serve you sweet Pan, it's good for your digestion. If you are visiting Bengaluru, don't miss the opportunity to try out this Restaurant "SATTVAM". You will just love it. Very tasty veg dishes. And yes, it is very reasonably charged. First time tasted Sandalwood drink. It was superb, flavour of sandalwood - when you gulp it down your throat, you get that flavour of Sandalwood - oh My God, just fantastic. Don't Miss it! Enjoy the sumptuous, mouth watering vegetable dishes.

Sattvam has been one of the OG #pureveg #buffet restaurants in #nammabengaluru . I was left in awe of their wide range of food options which are not only tasty but also so clean. I was thoroughly impressed by their dessert section with desi and videsi sweets to satiate your taste buds. . . Special thanks to Mr. John (head chef) for being extremely polite not only to us but also to the other customers and helping us all.
What’s up for Dinner
May be I just got lucky, we were the first ones in the restaurant and had the whole buffet spread for ourselves. Concept is Satvik food ( no onions, no garlic etc) offered to the Gods before being served to patrons. Having no onions and garlic, enhances the food experience as you taste the real ingredients and how they are supposed to taste. I loved everything that I tried, I obviously did not try the western food pasta / pizza etc. it didn’t make sense when you had an overload of quintessential authentic Indian cuisine surrounding you, why would you even bother Since it is a mango season, there was one whole counter for mango desserts, just wow. Loved the experience here, if I am in Bangalore again, will not hesitate to stop by.

So yesterday we indulged in a little Sattvic food. We were curious how food without onion and garlic tasted. To our surprise it was quite a lovely experience. (We are hard core non-vegetarians). The ambiance was nice and the place was clean. They have two floors. The staff was courteous. Our lunch began with a mezze platter. I must say it was good but they can avoid hummus as it needs to include garlic. And authentic fattoush salad shouldn't consist of chick peas. The Indian bread sticks were yum. We loved the stuffed paneer, kebab, crackling spinach, lemon rice, boondi raitha, anar dhana Pani puri, the rich gravies, the dal makhani, the rasmalai, etc. But special mention goes to the aloe vera bhaji that was astonishingly tasty. It was a great experience. The restaurant had everything from Pani puri to pizza! Perhaps with a little tweaks to some dishes, I'd give it a five star!! 😀

An amazing place with 100% vegetarian food prepared on sattvic principle, highly organized sitting area, excellent and vibrant ambience, cater up the need of family based dining or corporate dining, couple dining, and even solo dining. Ideal place to celebrate birthday or anniversaries with family and kids in this peaceful place. The food and service is worth the value served for and pocket friendly too. The food is not only tasty but highly authentic in its taste. One need to visit to know the value of this place. Only thing is that they have only buffet system and there is no explicit choice for menu, however, there are wide varieties of dishes to try for...go and have a good time in peaceful environment

Went for a buffet with friends. If you are looking for a place with no onion and garlic but variety and a good sumptuous meal. Sattvam is the place. The staff are not too accommodating. But the food is good and hygiene is maintained.

Today I visited sattvam after a long time, being a vegetarian I choosed to be there. We were sanitized, measured our temperature and guided to the table. Table was covered, we open our cover by ourselves. Basically it was a sitting buffet, no need to go to collect food from counters, the whole meal was delivered on the table. Now started with the soup followed by six verieties of snacks, chats salads, so tasty and yummy, enjoyed throughly. My colleagues loved pasta made by chef Ali, a very serious guy to care of us. In main course I I was shocked by dal makhni, wow, it was a wow along with cofta mix veg some tandoori breads. Sattvik biriyani was outstanding. Deserts were yummy, icecream rolls were amazing thats too by chef Ali. Finally Mr rai and his team helped us with warmth and familier hospitality. Really worth visiting place, its people and food will definitely attracts you with no daubt. Thank you Chef Ali and Mr rai for such a homely service. ....... <br/>

My favourite go to place for vegetarian hunger pangs . This time was a great disappointment. Service was poor. For 840/- bucks not worth it. They literally serve just bite size pieces and one each only. Tasteless absolutely shocking. Can't believe. I used to love their food and combination. Things like soggy puri puts you off. Roti was not fresh too. Pasta was over cooked. A big let down and that too when there is hardly any crowd.

Sattvam is a fine dine buffet place, but now it serves the buffet food on table. It's pure sattvik food with great vegetarian options, some really aesthetic. The cutlery and all is covered, water jars sealed and alternate tables left empty for distancing purpose. I seriously loved the corn tikki, raw banana bhaji and mix bhaji in starters. Gol gapper were served very nicely with nitrogen fog aesthetics and in puris in a paper bag. In mains, I absolutely loved the paneer butter malasa, mix veg and veg Biryani. Desserts were totally another world with a range of options. Jalebi won the heart, so did gujjiya. Freshly made ice cream rolls were a bliss too.

Sattvam has been a hallmark of the sattvic food in Bengaluru. Recently, I have had an opportunity to visit their branch in Sadashivanagar. Due to this ongoing pandemic, all the restaurants are obliged to follow the strict safety measures suggested by WHO. I was flabbergasted and impressed by looking at the safety measures that are taken by Sattvam to ensure the safe and pleasant dining experience to its customers. They perform a temperature check and offer you a sanitizer at the entrance and also sanitize the lift buttons before you get in. At the reception again you will have a chance to get your hands sanitised.<br/><br/>The cutlery and plates are sterilised and kept packed on the table . Not all the tables are used, few are left to maintain social distancing. Due to the current circumstances the buffet is served to you at the table. Talking about the food, we started with a refreshing drink and plate of starters like hariyali kebab, paneer tikka, raw banana bajji etc. I have to admit the fact that I have had a very good pani puri after a very long gap at Sattvam. Do not miss to try it! Chats items like dahi balla, dokhla and dabeli are absolutely finger licking. <br/><br/>Main course was also served at the table with extreme care and safety. Naans and rotis are packed in a paper to avoid the contact during the service. Dal makhni, kadai paneer are top notch in main course and definitely a must order dishes. They serve a huge spread of desserts which are incredibly delicious. My favoutite desserts over there are undoubtedly the jalebi with rabdi , mango phirni and moongdaal halwa. I had a great experience with their food and service. The staff are very polite and following strict safety guidelines even when serving the food. Fear not guys, this place is extremely safe to visit and indulge in your favourite delicacies.

In these unprecedented times, when things are easing out a little and people are trying to resume their livelihoods and get back to normalcy, it's great to see a place like Sattvam making great efforts to ensure the safety and well being of its customers.<br/><br/>I visited the Sadashivnagar branch on a weekend to see how they are adapting to these tough challenges and of course , to try their awesome Sattvic food.<br/><br/>Before I move on to the food details, I want to mention some measures taken by them so that you can dine in without any fears or apprehensions.<br/>• Firstly, there is a hand sanitization and temperature check done right before you enter the place.<br/>• They are giving seating at a safe distance so that no two tables which are next to each other are occupied.<br/>• The seating on a table is also done in a criss-cross manner so that there is no one sitting right in front of you. You can ask for a regular seating if required.<br/>• All the cutlery is well sanitized and there is a bar code on the paper cover over it, scanning which you can see all the measures taken by them in the form of a short video.<br/>• Next is a digital menu which can be browsed by scanning another QR code on the table tent. This makes it easier to know the menu and ask for repeats of your favourites.<br/>• All the tables and chairs are sanitized post every meal so you always get a safe seating.<br/>• The staff is wearing masks and gloves to ensure further safety.<br/>• Since it's a buffet place, so they are serving everything right at the table instead of you having to go for next courses.<br/>How is that for safety measures ! I am quite certain it will give you some confidence to go out for some delicious Sattvic food.<br/><br/>Coming to the food, I would like to mention the standouts. Kesar tulsi drink is very good and refreshing. Liked the gol gappe, makai tikki, mini dosae and crackling spinach in the starters.<br/><br/>In the main course, I enjoyed the paneer and daal along with butter naan. Not to mention, the lemon rice and puliyogare served in the cute little pressure cookers.<br/><br/>Desserts are big attraction here and you get a lot of options to choose from. I drooled over moong daal halwa, chocolate mousse, caramel ice cream and so many other pastries.<br/><br/>To sum it up, I think quite stringent measures are in place here so that you can enjoy your food and not worry about anything else. I would recommend all to go and have the experience for yourself.

What an amazing place ! <br/>What an amazing spread !<br/>It's difficult to believe that none of there dishes have onion & garlic .<br/>Each an every single dish is finger licking good. <br/>The way the food is displayed is beautiful,,,<br/>The drink's, the chaat's,the salad's and the bread's.<br/>The various kinds of main courses not to forget a very large spread of dessert's. <br/>Everything tastes perfect.<br/>Price around Rs.900/- , it is a tad expensive though. <br/>But if you can afford that, then is the best restaurants<br/>For pure vegetarian's in the whole of B'lore !<br/>A must try !!

Had been to this place for my parents Anniversary. Sorry to say they do not deserve 4.4 in zomato. The food was stall, not tasty at all for the overall price they charge. The dahiwada was not fresh it was stall, the Muffins/Cupcake for chocolate fountain was hard over backed. The ony sabji we liked was the Bhedi masala. Will Never recommend this to other. Do not go there looking at their ratings.
Arihant Jain
Everything was good

All foods sweet are too sweet and i dont know how they add same flavour to all those meals.. nothing special for the money you pay for, its just eating buffet in wedding..

Sattvam was the perfect setting for our big family lunch. We were delightfully surprised at the sumptuous spread of healthy food. The ambience was great, enough light and seating arrangements. And the best part was the variety of cuisine- appealing to the youngsters with the pizza, chaat & lasagne and also catered to older parents with both traditional and unconventional treats. There were sugar free desserts too.
Justtt Food
This place is an absolute bliss for Veg food lovers, they have wide range of varieties and also italian live counter and my favourite would definitely be a Chocolate fountain. VEG lovers please do not miss to visit this place.
Foodveggie
I still dont understand how this restaurant managed to get so many positive reviews. The service is big let down on this restaurant(They only concentrate on big tables). every food what you find here is off khatta meetha taste. The quality of food is not  up to the mark, youll be very drowsy after eating them.
Muii
Never going to visit again. Everything is sweet . Curd rice, biriyani soo much sweet it became impossible to eat. There's no salt no spice miserable !
Nav
Starters were really good. Bombay Sandwich, Beetroot Burger, Pizza, Paneer Tikka and other snacks were totally amazing. Chaats were average. Main course was good and dessert too were having a great range. Pan at the end was icing on the cake..😀😀 Though we had to wait for half an hour for getting the table on the rooftop. Main hall had a waiting time of 1 hr.
Vindhya G
Food quality was not at all good. Not sure how this restaurant has such a high rating. Most of the food seemed to be prepared long time back and foods which are supposed to be crisp had gone soggy . Not worth the money
Vishnu Priya
Really good ambience, food, and service. Great creativity in presentation of most of the dishes. Most of the dishes tasted good too.<br/><br/>With my appetite, I couldn't taste all the dishes (there were so many!).<br/><br/>I loved how they've presented the Pani Puri, which wasn't that great; but, when you see such great presentation, you'd certainly want it on your table.<br/><br/>Those tiny cookers had Masala Chitranna and Puliyogre -- those looked so beautiful, and tasted awesome too!<br/><br/>They also had seperate section entirely for kids -- mini versions of burger, pizza, and a dessert.

We were visiting a friend in sadashiv nagar who recommended this place as a good option for dinner. We were hungry and glad to get a table without a long wait. Only to realise that is a buffet only place. None of us is a fan of buffet but we decided to give this place a shot and such a delight it was. The service was prompt. The ambience had a lovely old (real) Bangalore feel to it. And the buffet had so many options right from appetizers to chaats to main course and desserts. Everything I tried tasted awesome. Somehow it's surprising how sattvik food can be this amazing. Both the dal makhani and dal tadka were among the best I had had in recent times. What's also commendable is the the smart and beautiful presentation of dishes in intelligently small portion sizes to avoid a lot of wastage. Huge thumbs up to this place. It is going to be on my recommendation list

Went in to have lunch with my family after a long time... Heard this place gives a wide spread of dishes starting from starters to desserts.... To be honest the food was too good... Totally worth the rate... Reservations are highly recommended else you may have to wait on weekends... The food too too good....Warm chocolate pudding was too good...Paneer tikka was tooo soft... Totally loved it....Worth a hit...

Great taste of food 👌! Simple and soothing background music! Place to refer everyone who says can't cook without onions and garlic! Forget starters, go ahead with main buffet straight away! Liked the small portions of rice items. ♥️ Puliyogare, Sattvic biryani, besan halwa, gongura rice and stuffed aloo palak.

I would say it's a heaven for dessert lovers and vegetarians. Huge variety of food. Absolutely worth the cost. Wide spread buffet. There is no lagging on the taste part - everything perfect and tasty. Must visit place.

Overall an OK place with nice food. Was here yesterday along with family and the only let off was the service. It seems like it was overly busy with less staff.<br/><br/>Only buffet was offered and the food was good.<br/><br/>Try improvising with the staffs and this restaurant can go places.<br/><br/>A one time visit
Ishwarya
Their food presentation is very creative. There are more than 50 items and it is such that every person gets to taste all the dishes. The authentic South Indian rice items are served in tiny cookers and mini buckets.
Aishwarya Balasubramanyam
A beautidul spread and a heaven for vegetarians. Have been multiple times and was amazed with their prompt service and hygiene. <br/><br/>A best place for customers who dont prefer onions and garlic. The spread is so lavish that you can choose the cuisine you want to eat! <br/>Must eats: <br/>1. Indian Desserts<br/>2. Pastries ( the cute ones)<br/>3. South Indian - plain rice and rasam<br/>4. Pasta - the alfredo is yummmm! <br/>5. Sugar free ice creams <br/>6. The Veg Biriyani is total awesome!
Neelesh Chandra
Absolutely terrible food. The service is pretty good and so is the ambience of the place. The presentation of the starters isn't all too bad.<br/>However, the biggest issue is the absolutely disgusting quality of the food. None of the items on offer seemed edible leave alone palatable. Most of what we tasted, seemed stale and unbearable to eat.<br/><br/>This place needs a major revamp, otherwise its rating will soon start to nosedive down.
Sreema Shenoy
Good place for vegetarians and those who love sweets. They have much larger variety of sweets and desserts. Kids will have a great time. They serve rice is small cookers which is a attraction for kids .

Amazing food and hospitality... Amazing presentation 👌 I loved it!! Buffet it is and is vegetarian. Not a place for non vegetarians. Prices during holidays and weekends is higher.

Must place to visit for the vegetarians.. the buffet spread is enormous, the dessert options are so many. Pastries, ice creams, mithai all are so good. The food is perfect blend and good for family dinner and lunch.

We went to sattvam sankey road for a Saturday lunch. Restuarant works on slot system so booking the table is mandatory. Ambience is great with good seating. Place was very crowded may be as it was a weekend, this place has different types of chat for starters followed by tandoor items like panner tikka, corn kebabs, veg haryali kabab all of them very average, they was kind friendly dishes like garlic bread which were very dry. Veg pizza was good. Main course was again very average and desserts are very good with a huge spread of atleast 20 varieties of Indian mithais and pastries n cakes n tarts.price is a little higher 815 rs plus taxes for veg food with average taste. Overall an OK kind of a place.
Ananda Bhattacharjya
This was my 3rd visit to this place, even when I call myself a strictly non-vegetarian. Because Sattvam never stops to amaze me with it's satvik style cuisine without onion and garlic.<br/><br/>A great place to be with your family and/or friends. The buffet is well laid and the staffs are courteous and very welcoming. The snacks, you can call it welcome snacks are served on the table and they are very delicious. After which you can roam around their layout to pick cuisines all around from North India to South India and also they have a live pasta counter. The foods are very tasty and am sure you will like to over-eat. However, please do save place in your stomach because the most amazing part of the buffet is yet to come ie. Dessert. I was mesmerized by the wide variety of desserts which again are mouth watering and delicious. They also have a live ice cream counter.<br/><br/>Over all an excellent experience and I would again say that it's a must try even for strictly non-vegetarian like me. On weekends, please do book your table and go. They have vallet parking.
Srihari Katti
Ambiance is really very Amicable. Perfect place to have family dinner. We were served 6 starters including lemon mint juice, cutlets, paneer tofu, mango lassi. Main course included plethora of sabzis, naan and roti, veg Biryani, Pani Puri, pizza and much more. Lots of desserts for the ones with sweet tooth
Deepak.padmanabhan
Great food , ambience and service. Enjoyed ourselves very much . Would have been a five star had they had a better parking valet service. Extremely rude and uncooperative including causing material damage to the vehicle. The only thing perhaps out of sync in a very pleasant experience

Went for a Sunday lunch here. Please make your reservations before coming as the place is always full. The restaurant offers a scrumptious veg buffet with more 50 varieties of veg dishes. The ambience is pretty good too and gives the family dine in vibes. <br/><br/>We began with the starters and the presentation is to die for. From drinks to food, the presentation was on point. They offered large variety of chharts, along with live counters of pasta. The main course was delicious too, followed by one amazing spread of the desserts. One of the best veg buffet place ! <br/><br/>The service was very prompt too.
