I had been wanting to dine at this place for a very long time. This is just about 1 km from cubbon park and the road is too beautiful, so it becomes a nice walk from there. The place is actually small, though its very old and quite famous. Food is definitely very yummy here. The butter masala dosa t
The food was excellent. We had dosa and coffee. The dosa has a very crispy crust, something which I like, with thick sambhar and coconut chutney. They even served a little amount of pure desi ghee to go along with dosa. Everything was well cooked and tasty. The decor and furniture were workman like
I had Masala Dosa amd Filter coffee. The dosa was very tasty and heavy with loads of ghee. And the filter coffee was ok ok not bad nor good. The service ws little slower.
This was a traditional place I would not have gone by myself. The dosa was very tasty and the service was efficient. Prices are also traditional (coffee and dosa around 120 rupees). Highly recommended.
Hats off to the service. They are quick and friendly. Must try the bisibele bath and the bonda soup. Additionally we had akki roti , curd Vada, masala dosa and gulab jamoon.
We had Masala Dosa, Pudi Dosa and Idli. Their taste was good. What surprised me was that they serve idli and dosa with a tiny bowl of ghee. I think using ghee is their specialty as you can also smell and taste ghee in dosa, as if they have been dipped in ghee. Great taste. Ample seating. Pricing co
I had lunch there, the taste was superb and the quantity of food for me was more than enough.
We liked this Branch Better than the Inception Branch. Pretty Clean Ambiance, Good Hospitality, Relatively Cleaner Utensils and The Waiter suggested some Items which blew us away. The dosas are made in much better perfection in here. You don't have to wait either, You get seats most times. From Dos
Good place to have authentic south indian meals..went there for a sunday breakfast. Loved the idlis, chow chow bath..they give small quantity of ghee to add over idlis and dosa which adds to the taste. Parking is in a complex just next to the MTR building down the lane, which is bit congested. The
Best taste....they have many varieties in South Indian food ...kesari bath and masala dosa was awesome....meduvada was tasty too....ghee on dosa...was a star performer....we went there for breakfast and yummmmm.....it made my day
MTR, a culinary institution in Bangalore, offers an unforgettable dining experience. The Masala Dosa is a must-try, with its crispy texture and perfectly spiced potato filling. The Rava Idli is soft and spongy, accompanied by flavorful chutneys and sambar. The aromatic filter coffee adds the perfect
As it is of of the oldest restaurant in Bangalore, food was delicious, specially Dosa and Idli.
I had a light dinner here. Taste was fine and service was good. But nothing special about this place, it’s another usual eatery.
Tried Masala Dose, Uddina Vade and Filter coffee. Dose taste is average, Vade is good and coffee is good offcourse. If you are expecting too much from this restaurant you may be bit disappointed. Place is maintained cleanly and the place is often crowded. Cost is also bit more compared to other veg
