Memories of China is the best Chinese restaurant in Bangalore. It's the most authentic Chinese restaurant in Bangalore which has a Chinese chef from china. It has a luxurious interior and it's very spacious. The staff is really excellent, helpful and friendly. Hats off to the beautiful staff for always helping me. The dumbling has lots of variety including veg, non-vegetarian, sea food and soup and many more Chinese dishes. I highly recommend visiting this Chinese restaurant. I would love to say thanks to Mr Santosh for helping me a lot & taking me for kitchen tours.

Very good Chinese food. I tried momo, chilly chicken , fried rice and a curry. Got a corner table as I was having a business meeting. Served Jasmine tea. Service was very good. Mr Murali was very helpful. Calm and quiet , no loud music. Overall its a good place to relax and have some business meeting and enjoy food.

Excellent food, presentation, service and ambience! Staff is polite and helpful in navigating their extensive menu. Great quantity with quality of taste :) Bonus is they serve the beer from the Seven Rivers brew just across the hall. We enjoyed some amazing chicken manchow soup, some chicken dumplings, egg fried rice and chicken gravy. The excellent meal was wrapped up with an even better dessert! Must visit for good Chinese food in the heart of the city :)

Going back to this place after almost 15 years! Just the prospect of driving in Bangalore traffic across town from where we are staying made us wait this long! Thanks to COVID the traffic was really light and we finally went over. Amazing food. Authentic flavours and great taste. Being vegetarians, there were plenty of options. The service was quick and people were very helpful. The desserts were unique. Finally, an afternoon meal that we enjoyed to the max and had a great time...

Great place for a nice dinner. The place was not crowded when we reached (around 7pm) but around 8.45pm, it was full. The food and quantity were as expected. However, the service was done by multiple staff and it was not well co-ordinates. We had to call for them multiple times. The spice level of the soup, dumplings, noodles and chicken were awesome.

One of the best sofesticated place in the city for an intimate dinner experience. Very friendly staff and great food. Its a wise choice to book your table in advance and most importantly they have complimentary cake of 350gms for any special occasions as cake from outside is not allowed. There are variety of food options and the authenticity is great. U can point towards anyfood in the menu and that food will sure be great.

I had the bestest birthday celebration here yesterday. The food and the service were all excellent! The restaurant manager Murali is the sweetest man. He gave us complimentary cake, desserts, and a birthday gift! Special mention to Rupa and Mamta for their excellent service. Definitely try their steamed prawn cheung fun, Crab soup, chilli pork.

Located within the Taj, MG road. Great place for authentic Chinese cuisine. If you have 2 or 3 hours to kill, settle in for a long relaxed lunch. Great for groups. I love the Lotus stem in starters.

Detailed Review here. Read at the End for Summary. Wanted to go to a good Chinese restaurant and found this. Other reviews mentioned it as one of the best Chinese restaurant in Bangalore. This is part of Taj Vivanta at MG Road and the entrance is opposite to 1 MG mall. There is valet parking available. Restaurant is on the grond floor, towards the left after entering. We were in the first few to enter as we reached right at the opening hours. The interiors is what catches your attention. It's neatly done with red color part of theme. The seats are comfortable and each one seems to have a different view and look. I had mine towards the kitchen, which was a sight to see some of the preparations and a huge steamer. The service is top notch. We ordered Lotus Stem and Chestnut in honey sauce with Mushroom stuffed dimshum. The lotus stem dish had crunch due to the chestnut and otherwise the taste was nothing great. Dimshum also were very light in flavor but with the side condiments, it was fine. We also got kimchi on the side(complimentary), which added to the overall available flavors. Main course was crispy noodles and sauted greens. The noodles with gravy had mild flavor which tasted good but we expected the taste to be unique rather than a general taste. We enjoyed eating greens which primarily had snap peas, asparagus and some bok choy. However we expected to have more of green leafy vegetables, which usually in my experience chinese greens refer to. Desert was dates pancake with icecream. The person serving went out of his way to offer bringing dessert in two seperate plates for me and my wife with separate icecreams, which was a nice gesture and I liked. Icecream was really good and had very crramy texture and did not melt very fast. The dates pancake was more of a dates paste with some additional ingredients inside a extra crunchy pastry. I liked the taste and was very sweet(I like it more sweet). They had probably used sugar for extra sweetness, which as per my wife did not go well with dates taste. We spent lot more time just talking and being in a nice, relaxing place. We also enjoyed the hot lightly flavored tea being served when requested, which is an integral part of Chinese food eating habits. Liked: Service Ambience Food quality Location Could Improve: Food taste Chiness food authenticity factor bringing uniqueness to each dish
