Review Momo Cafe - Bengaluru

We ordered delivery for the meeting. The minimum order is 10 set. We added up the price from 500 baht to 800 baht to get more authentic food. The menu is grill salmon with truffle mesh potato and lemon grass sauce. Green tea cake and mojito. With separate salad. All the package and food are very sophisticated. You can get the premium feels and the fabulous good quality food. The portion is big enough that 1 person may not finish it all in one go.

Last Friday had a great Dinner buffet there. The buffet option had plenty of dishes to try. Some were too good, but some were not even up to the mark. The ambience was nice, I think there was some special event going on. The staff were polite and had good service. Enough parking facilities, also provided valet parking.

We stayed at Courtyard for one night. Had dinner and breakfast at Momo Cafe. We tried shrimp curry, vegetable curry, garlic naan and Malabar parota. They were delicious. Service by Ron, Imran and Rahul was exceptional. Ambience was nice. They also have a fantastic dinner buffet. (The video is a small sample of the items in the buffet). The meal is a bit pricey though.

I recently dined at Momo Cafe located in Courtyard Marriott and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The combination of delicious food, impeccable service, and a fantastic ambiance made it a memorable evening. The menu offered a wide variety of culinary delights, and every dish we ordered was a masterpiece. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, and the presentation was top-notch. Particularly dessert spread was overwhelming. It's evident that the chefs at Momo Cafe take great pride in their craft. The small things that get requested are taken care off and the courtesy extended by the staff makes the dining experience something that you would remember for a long time. Overall, a nice relaxed atmosphere for spending quality time with your family.

Buffet option has plenty of food to try.. All items were delicious and tasty. Helpful staffs(Aayush, Astha, Anand,Satyendar)visited with kid, he enjoys the atmosphere. Having enough veg items, even sweets and bakes had veg option.

Very helpful staff. We were with our baby. The staff there gave him a few toy cars to play with so he was engaged with that for sometime :) and we could have our food. A food festival was going on so the buffet was customized for that. We loved the fruit pie they had for dessert. A great place to celebrate special occasions.

Cafe near the pool. Kids tried their asparagus chicken soup and thoroughly enjoyed it. The ambience and service is lovely.

Had a lovely women's day lunch buffet here. Usually buffet food doesn't taste good but here it was really flavorful. Loved the coconut sundal salad , especially.

Incredible Place for Dine-In. Plenty of Valet Parking n Self Parking available. 4 of us went for Sunday Lunch. Great service and hospitality. The buffet spread is countless n endless. All the flavors and tastes are so very lingering. Many live counters to satisfy hunger n Inquisitiveness. We got our space to sit back, talk, have fun and relish the delicacies for ~2 hours. Live performance is cherry on top of all of these.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Momo cafe, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. This establishment offers a perfect blend of exquisite cuisine, impeccable service, and a charming atmosphere that transports you to a bygone era of colonial India. First and foremost, the ambiance of The Sahib Room & Kipling Bar is simply enchanting. The decor pays homage to Rudyard Kipling's era, with its opulent furnishings, vintage artwork, and dimly lit spaces. The attention to detail in recreating this historical atmosphere is truly remarkable and adds to the overall allure of the place. Now, let's talk about the food. The menu is a culinary journey through the diverse flavors of India, and every dish we sampled was a masterpiece. From the fragrant biryanis to the succulent kebabs and the rich, creamy curries, each dish showcased the chef's skill and dedication to authenticity. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the use of high-quality ingredients was evident in every bite. The service at The Sahib Room & Kipling Bar was exceptional. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to make our dining experience memorable. They provided excellent recommendations and were quick to accommodate any special requests we had. The bar deserves special mention as well. The Kipling Bar offers a wide range of classic and signature cocktails that are expertly crafted. Whether you're a cocktail connoisseur or just looking for a delightful drink to complement your meal, you won't be disappointed. In summary, The Sahib Room & Kipling Bar is a culinary gem in every sense. It's a place where history, culture, and gastronomy converge to create an unforgettable dining experience. If you're seeking an elegant and refined dining experience with a touch of nostalgia, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to The Sahib Room & Kipling Bar. It's a true tribute to the legacy of Rudyard Kipling and the rich culinary traditions of India.Café

The food was great. I loved the breakfast, especially the Pongal and sambar with coconut chutney. Didn't see that coming in a continental breakfast buffet. I wanted to have ghee Pongal today. Really delicious as usual. You get fruits which are seasonal and their respective juices. Peanut butter, bread and cheese spread with your choice of cheese (Parmesan, cottage, etc not sure what the other 4 were). Bacon, sausage of pork and chicken and dimsums. Healthy beetroot and carrot juices and different yoghurt. Baked muffins made with blueberry and fruits etc. Not to mention the served varieties of dosa. Last but not least, there were some jellies suvh as cola and sour under the table which is imported usually. All in all a Fantastic and belly filling treat. I guess I could say Marriott didn't disappoint me.

We tried the weekend brunch... wide variety, neatly packaged food. The service was excellent, smooth order process, convenient delivery system... brightened up the weekend!! The handwritten note from the chef and the rest of the team which accompanied the food was a lovely touch.

Ordered weekend buffet once and lunch during weekday.... delivered at home, very nicely packed. The buffet variety was awesome and so was the taste. The weekday lunch was equally good.

I ordered croissants from here. They actually turned out to be mini croissants when they arrived. Too small portion for breakfast. They were burnt from the bottom, definitely stale, so much so that it was difficult to break them and chew, were completely dry from the middle, and the taste was like a sub par lightly sweetened bread. Not at all an expected level of quality from a brand like Marriott. Utterly disappointed.
Dikshita Rai
I have this habit if I love a dish I reorder the same. So I reordered today. The paneer didn’t taste the same and even the rice quality is not same.<br/>Bit dissatisfied
Dikshita Rai
Ordered meal in a box that would be paneer makhani with Zaffrani pulao, after a long time I really had a good meal. Good generous amount of portion. Loved the fresh corn salad which came along with the meal. Paneer was as soft as candy floss. The zaffrani pulao was good. But I was bit disappointed with the dessert I also ordered shahi tukda the bread is soft but I believe any Indian dessert is prepared with refined oil or any palm oil it actually has a distinct smell which really doesn’t go with Indian dessert. I would suggest to use Ghee as it really goes well with Indian desserts.

Go there only if u want to get served by pretentious condescending good for nothing servers and management. Leave the servers, that Sumit something needs a basic lesson in manners himself, if a manager and the management overall itself is an incompetent piece of s¥$t, what better can be expected of anyone else working under them. We walked out with food on our table all because they couldn't contact their own social media person and confirm if my gf had won one of their stupid contests, even though it was confirmed by their own social media person (who we later got to know was Monica) a couple of days before, and the coupon too was sent by their very own Instagram page. All in all, some 45 to 60 minutes spent, not counting the time to get there and back, no drinking water offered, or let alone a proper drink, had to persuade the servers to give us water, all along while they were giving us suspicious looks and making us feel very very unwelcome, like as if we have come there to steal something, honestly speaking, if only words would suffice, no adjectives would be enough to write abt the HORRIBLE experience we had here. Also seems like these guys prefer only whites, and have an issue with brown skinned Indians, and especially those with Vitiligo, at least thats the vibe I got. As a person living with Vitiligo for almost two decades, we know when we are made to feel not welcomed, it isnt hard to see whether a bunch of people want us to dine at their place or not, body language says it all. Not the first time it has happened and after seeing these lot at Courtyard, dont think it is ever gonna stop for our kind. Better go to places like Clarks Exotica instead where everyone is made and felt welcome the minute they walk in the door, regardless of whether they are there because they won a contest or not, their race, and the color/colors of their skin. And whatever little I had of ur starters, they were plain tasteless, if that's what you serve on a Sunday along with everything else from wearing ur stinking attitude on ur sleeves to the false sense of entitlement and pride, I don't want to see what leftovers you lot serve on a weekday. It's certainly good to have pride in ur work and workplace, but if ur pride is going to make others feel like they do not belong there, then that is not pride, it is more of hate, biases, and prejudices, all rolled in one.

Absolutely disappointing experience and will never ever go back or recommend this place. <br/><br/>It is a long story so bear with me, yippie I won a contest on Insta that was organized by Courtyard. Finally decided to redeem my voucher and go for a nice brunch on a Sunday. I informed the same to the person in charge of their Insta page. She confirmed and we were excited about our brunch date. The day comes to go for this amazing brunch, and we reached the venue. We are waiting to be greeted by the maître d' and I see people just walking in and out. I stood there and waiting for someone to come, after five minutes a lady comes with no smile on her face and greets by this time I am already having second thoughts (I know she must have been working long hours but that’s not how you greet guests). Anyway, I was still excited and told her the whole story of how I won and blah blah blah, she asked to see the voucher and I said I have a picture of the voucher sent using your Insta page. She mumbled something and showed us to our table. Now, the excitement level is fading away, we took a look at the spread and decided to order our drinks. When I called for the waiter, he informed me that they are trying to confirm the voucher that was issued to me. I was fine with it as I assumed that was their process. After about 10 minutes, we call the waiter and ask for the drink menu, now, he says that his manager cannot find anyone to confirm. I asked to speak to the manager, Sumit waltz in to say that he cannot contact anyone, so I have to do his job by contacting the person who pinged me on Insta. I have lost my appetite and just don’t want to get embarrassed in front of other guests. I again explain to him, show him all the conversation and the image of the voucher on their page. He said we cannot help you. I just leave the cold food on my plate and pick up my bag and walk off. "Why this long post? Because of the frustration and embarrassment, you have caused me. And, the higher management to see what kind of staff they have recruited. Why did I wait to post? Because I didn’t want my frustration to be shown in my words."<br/><br/>Conclusion:<br/><br/>I had to take my frustration out somewhere, so I pinged the person in charge of the Insta page and ask her what the issue was and told her how I was treated. And, that’s when I got to know her name, Monica apologized and asked if we could give her another chance. I don’t think I can forget the embarrassment and walk in so decided to write this post and vent out.<br/><br/>Things that went wrong here:<br/><br/>1. We had traveled a long way to come here and no one was there to greet us. This shows how highly disorganized the staffs were. Sumit (manager) wanted me to call up and find out, since when did I start working for them? <br/><br/>2. We were treated like freeloaders since the time we entered and spoke about the voucher and the contest. The staff was arrogant, they didn’t speak to us and explain what is going on, we had to ask them for an update, we had to request for the drink menu so many times. (I am going to attach the voucher here for reference)<br/><br/>3. If you cannot make us feel welcomed how are you going to do that with people visiting our country.<br/><br/>4. Nobody took charge, the sad part of all even Sumit was doing his own thing and refuse to tell us what was going on. I had to request to speak with him to know what was going on.<br/><br/>5. The staff and their service ruined my Sunday and my whole experience with Courtyard.

One of the best places in Bangalore to just sit and have quality time while indulging yourself in some of the most delicately cooked food. The staff is calm, composed and focused towards their guests. The ambiance is very soothing. It's a complete experience.

I'd must say, MasterChef's really put heart out, perhaps recipe may not have the soul, YOU as the cook, definitely brought one to it..<br/><br/>Hundreds of cuisines genre's from Starters to Desserts, derived from all over across the continents taste. That's what influenced me  to look forward to endure your every new tasteful arrivals.😍<br/>.<br/>Excellent service & Warmth staff touched the ❤️. Whereas, mini kids play arena & Elegant Décor: adds Vogue.<br/><br/>we really love the quintessential experience of a colossal buffet at their 'big fat family brunch'.....

This place is the perfect choice for an official dinner or a cosy family get together. They have an amazing breakfast spread which I usually relish with a lot of live, piping hot food. That is very impressive and I decided to try their dinner option too. I went to their dinner buffet last week and was impressed by the spread. They have a lot of amazing starters not to forget a huge dessert spread. Their main course was really delectable too. They have a live grill section too where you choose your items and they grill it for you. Loved their Italian and Asian section too. Totally worth the buck. I particularly loved the paneer and cakes.  You can have a fun evening here.

Here's the reason for a 3 star - this is in comparison to the food menu offered in your cafe division - The food menu is hardly a full day cafe menu and leaves with very few options to choose from, being a business hotel, one would appreciate more bakery items and munchies. <br/>The brownie I ordered were stacked as two big brick sized pieces which had nothing five starish but rather so unappetizing to look at ! <br/>I have had some great memories from bombay baking company and delhi baking Company at other Marriotts and this just came from unmet expectations. <br/><br/>Thank you
Nitin Gupta
Though the buffet comes with a heft price tag, the food quality and passion is missing. The hotel is cashing in on the proximity to various IT parks. The food tastes mediocure, desserts are far too lucrative for a sweet tooth with rice kheer one of them, and dry mawa barfi.Guys give some worth to the money you charge for the food you offer. Very bad. For the same price or rather cheaper there are far better options than being here and waste your money. Please stay away from here, there are pretty decent and money worthy options within 3 km radius

Hi, <br/><br/>Had been to this place for team lunch last Friday. The booking process was smooth. <br/>We arrived at the restaurant and the table was allocated on time. <br/>The options in the starters were limited. The were only 3 veg and 3 non veg starters. The paneer tikka and cauliflower manchurian were cold, even though they were on hot plate. They served rotis when we were having our starters. <br/>The cheese was so dry and didn't taste fresh.<br/>The salads and Chaats were tasty.<br/>The main course were just average. I had asked for rotis to be served on the table but that was not served, as the initial rotis they served were cold. <br/>The used plates were not cleaned from the table time to time. We had to move the plates on our own. Also for drinking water we had to ask every time. There was no one around sometimes to even serve a glass of water. <br/>The dessert spread was good but lacks ice creams. Atleast expected 2 normal flavours of ice cream. <br/><br/>Highly disappointed. <br/><br/>Food - 2/5<br/>Ambience -2/5<br/>Price - 2/5<br/>Service - 1/5

Dined here as part of our Team lunch. Opted for Veg buffet - very simple starters nothing exciting and limited too, Salads were great, pasta, chats with variants available too but I heard much mixed opinions from my colleagues, Main course too weigh as very limited options where one would have high bar of expectations for hotel such as this. Forgot to mention, Desserts - lots of them!!! So as to tell the truth and really recommend, options are very excepting but taste and the quality of food in fact is very GOOD. One can definitely love the Ambience Marriott offers!!
Sofiya Rika
Been there twice with friends. Once in midnight snack with one of my colleague and then with my friend and her daughter for buffet lunch. I love the soups and sweets during lunch buffet. During midnight snacks, the club sandwich is awesome, as well as the fish and fries snack, quantity is more comparatively.  I will try their coffee next visit.

I went for lunch .it was very limited.food quality was very bad. Starters, main course, desserts everything was totally disappointing for vegetarians. Starters were cold. Live counters not working. No roti, naan and breads were served. No soft drinks/ mocktails served. Overall a pathetic experience. Do not recommend anyone.
Chitharanjan K P
Would like to thank Buddhadeb for his excellent service!!! Thank you!!!

Sangita took very good care of us. Will definitely like to come back.
Tapas Dasgupta
Very very disappointed with the dinner buffet. Starters were absolutely cold, not much variety in starters, main course or desserts. Biryani was stale and on pointing this out (they were not surprised at all), immediately fresh biryani was prepared. My nephew who was with us got a stomach upset  which probably was due to the stale biriyani. Didn't expect it in a Marriot establishment.
Smita Priyadarsini
One of the Finest Buffet Places in Banglore. The number of dishes served are really impressive. The Taste and Quality of the ingredients used can be witnessed from the food itself. They have good amount of choices for both Vegetarians and Non Vegetarians. The starters were really great in taste and varieties not your Usual ones. Loved the Vibe of the place it is Uber,Chic and perfect for a light hearted meeting, brunch, office dinner or just a quality time with bae over good food. They have focused on their entire menu may be it be the soups, salads, breads, main course or desserts. The desserts were piece of art if considered. Only thing that disappointed was the icecreame was not cold enough ya but they replaced it on request.<br/>Food- 4.5/5<br/>Ambience-5/5<br/>Service-5/5.

Momo Cafe at Courtyard Marriot is one of the finest buffet places in the IT corridor in this part of Bangalore. Have been there a couple of times and always had a great dining experience... the service is prompt and staff is very courteous. They're also known for hosting food festivals that ensure regular diners aren't bored of the usual options that are available as part of buffet spread, i remember visiting them during Punjabi food festival where in the highlight was a Chef's mother had come down to curate the menu, it was an experience itself to witness her cooking at one of the live stations.<br/>Overall, Momo cafe is a good option for team dinners, meals with family and for that casual dining needs with good food and beverage options!
Dolfred D'Souza
Thank you for a good experience Buddadeb.

Visited MOMO CAFE for dinner......a casual visit with my family. The initial experience wasn’t up to the mark as the starters were warm. But, the staff made up for it by serving us some hot starters and followed up on the complete experience. Budhadeb made sure he served us well till the end. The desserts were excellent with marble cheese cake and tart. He also served us a complimentary coffee. Overall, ratings<br/>Ambience: 4/5<br/>Service: 5/5<br/>Food: 4/5<br/>Desserts: 5/5<br/>Value: 4/5<br/><br/>Overall: 5/5

Actual rating - 3.5/5<br/>This should've come a little earlier but I wanted to think well before writing this review as the chefs for this brunch are the same who served an excellent Sunday brunch in their sister concern 'Kava' a month ago.<br/><br/>There is so much to praise about the lavish spread, but I think things went a bit offbeat when it comes to servings. Again I blame it on the fatigue of serving huge spread that compromised the flavor.<br/><br/>Not much to say about ambiance. It was top notch as is expected from a 5 star hotel restaurant.<br/><br/>Let's move to food. The menu had a mix of Indian and Non-Indian varieties ranging from Chinese to Italian to African etc. Course wise review is as follows:-<br/><br/>Starters - First note, despite being placed on hot-plates, many starters were cold until a fresh batch was added. This shouldn't happen. Anyway, my likes would include Oven roasted peri-peri chicken, Honey chili potato, Lahori macchi and dislike include Paneer Tikka, Chicken lollypop and aloo matar tikki.<br/><br/>Mains - One of the rarest occasion where I found it difficult to pick a single Indian mains which I could say was great. Maybe biryani but most of them were disappointing. On the other hand, I liked non-Indians such as chilli garlic noodles, African chicken stew, Fish in soy sauce and Parmesan crusted baked potato.<br/><br/>Salads - So many options but I couldn't find one to my liking.<br/><br/>Dessert - Less Indian option was striking. One cannot just keep barfi's in Indian category and expect praise. We're not that big cake and Ice cream lovers......well, at least I'm not.<br/><br/>Service, while being OK, I didn't find the level of attentiveness that their sister concern's staff had.<br/><br/>Overall,it was heart-breaking to get this show from the team whom hosted a wonderful Sunday brunch a month ago.

Very nice ambience with good food. Buddhadeb has given us a very nice service. We visited during onam festival and got a chance to taste kerala special food as well.
Sakshi Daga
Very less options in food . Food was cold and half the containers were not refilled. Waiters were not professional. Asked him to get normal water thrice , he got it after 35 mins. <br/><br/>Only good thing was its desserts
Nikhil Pc
I went there for Onam Sadhya buffet today. I have to say the experience was just horrible. We got there at 2pm. We had to wait for rice for 15min(they said they were making a new batch) and the rice they brought finally was uncooked. We called up the chef and the justification he had was, it takes about 1 and half hour to cook rice properly. Why do they do such events without proper planning? I had booked a day prior. They hardly had 8 side dish and all were just average and payasam was just horrible. For a price of Rs 999 per head I expected much better. A big thumbs down to Sudhir Nair and his team for organising this event.
