Review La Brasserie - Bengaluru

Ashutosh Wattal
I don't think it gives a stunning picture at the restaurant like a 5 star restaurant but it's a decent place for a family dinner. The team and servers were very courteous and they do serve u beyond the available spread if u do request them. The chef Inderbir Singh if I remember correctly was extremely pleasing and pulled us in a very connecting discussion. Overall its a place to have dinner with family n have some good conversation but the food isn't very interesting. If u wanna have a good food n spread then please try elsewhere.

As a 5star hotel restaurant, the ambiance is nice, we had buffet and it had variety, taste and options. We went for Sunday dinner and we found good amount of options. The buffet is 1700 plus tax. But we got some offer online so paid 1400 per person. If you are going for a buffet and u can eat, u wont regret it. The dessert and starters options were awesome. Service can be improved. Otherwise everything is good and satisfying.

We had gone there for lunch and the buffet offered a lot of dishes. The food is really tasty, doesn't look and taste very oily which is the best part. Also, there were lots of options in vegetarian cuisine including Chaat counters which is a lil rare. The desserts are specificically worth mentioning. The place is lil small compared to other similar Star hotels but has good interiors and great food. The staff is really courteous. There was a live performance as well that day which was excellent. The only thing missing was some better mocktails that can be included with the buffet.

Good food. Great buffet. Well informed staff. A nostalgic experience for me as a Bangalorean. It has the charm of a 5 star restaurant of the yester years

Highly priced for lunch or dinner. But dissent food for hotel breakfast

Sunday brunch special. Very good spread on starters and main course. Turkey was the special for the Sunday. Disappointed in the Dessert spread. Generally they have a pretty impressive variety of cakes, mousse, Indian sweets.. But today was a let down. Good Service, attentive staff - immediately brought us the dessert spoons without even asking for it. Value for Money at a 5 Star..

This place has really nice food served with warmth and excelence. They have a mix of south Indian and North Indian dishes in their buffet. They also have a live counter at times and a sprawling spread of desserts. A nice place for relaxed lunch very close to the heart of city and direct access to the Airport. All boxes ticked.

Didn't let down even a bit on the promised 5-star dining experience. The entire menu was really flavourful and the spread was quite good too. Definitely pinches the pocket, but if you can afford it, you won't regret it.

Wonderful restaurant.. I loved it... Visited few times and enjoy each bites of food there.. Staff is friendly and helpful.. Great place and great location. Value for money along with luxury place.. recommended highly for food lovers. Just walk in and enjoy there.

Very good buffet!! Buffet is stunning - in morning at breakfast and in evening for dinner. Varied live cooking options (every day different). Large selection of vegetarian and non-veg dishes. Very large desert buffet (Indian and western). Service is top notch - as is the food. I generally avoid restaurant in hotel where I sleep (I like to go for a walk) - but this is my exception. Experience this trip: 4x breakfast, 3x dinner

Excellent foodand very courteous staff. The ambience is ok. But the grilled fish and prawns are a must try. They have a good variety to choose from the buffet. The pricing is icing on the cake for a buffet at Le Meredien. The cost of a buffet is around Rs1500 . Their deserts are signature dish and very tasty and nicely presented. The gauteux is the best of the lot. I would definitely say It's value for money.

We went for the afternoon buffet. The food was good. The aubergine casserole definitely requires some tweaking because it wasn't good at all but everything else was delicious. The highlight being the kiwi pan cotta.

It is an excellent all day dining restaurant at Le Meridian Hotel. Though the buffet spread is not very exhaustive, the food taste and quality is commendable. Their service is impeccable.

Went for a buffet lunch. It was a Multicusine spread with Indian, continental dishes with a live pasta and pita counters. There were plenty of salad options. The chicken salad was especially good. The main course options were just average. The desserts were strawberry souffle, mango crembrule, Kesar phirni, champakali, chocolate cake etc. Overall it's like any other 5 star Multicusine buffet spread, a good ambience, a variety of dessert options, but the mains remain average..

On Sunday there was a "brunch" offer quite complete and with a reasonable price. Buffet is complete with dishes for all people (vegetariab, not spicy, spicy ...).
Recommended

I stayed in Le meridian for couple of days so got the complimentary breakfast here at la brasserie. It looks very classy and luxurious , somewhere you would like to your beloved out. The buffet spread is not very very wide but it is pretty good. I liked the veg section better than the non veg one. In non veg they had fewer options. I like the Sannas very much, first time I had here. Giving it a 5 rating for the ambiance, the quality and for the warm behaviour of the staffs here.

Decided to start my special day at La Brasserie . It was the right decision . Service was impeccable . Food was great . Ambience was impressive .
We loved the chutneys they served with idli n vada. Tea was great . I loved the aapam too. Wish there was some chicken stew to go along with it.
Frankly I did not expect a cake since I did the booking . Still they served a birthday cake . Our initial plan was to spend an hour but we ended up enjoying ourselves for good 2 hrs . We will definitely return.

Looking for an outstanding buffet, this might be the place you have been looking for all this while. We went to this place wondering how it would be, it was to our surprise the best buffet we have had so far in Bangalore. We were immediately welcomed by the staff, very friendly, helpful and they have amazing enthusiasm, which was quite refreshing. This place is 100% kids friendly.
We were served the soup and starters at our table, and whatever we wanted like the pasta and the desserts too at our table. The chicken soup was so surprisingly satisfying. I specially loved the starters. Prawns, lamb ribs, mutton, chicken. It was simply superb. The shanghai chicken, chicken biryani, the fish in the main course was mouth watering . I got to taste 6 different types of cheeses like the cheddar, tomato and olives cheese, Edam, etc., and a vast range of breads to choose from. There was live counter for pasta, churros and chats. There were different types of pastas to choose from, we had penne in white sauce, which was perfect al Dante. I got a chance to have veg and non veg sushi’s, I loved the crab sushi.
For desserts we had mocha express gateau which was so intense, vanilla caramel custard brought back the memories of my childhood. It was the first time that I had Almond cake with whipped ganache and Fig & honey Bavarian and I am so glad I had them, the taste was simply unbeatable, for a moment I felt I was tasting the desserts prepared in the kitchen of Masterchef Australia. Churros, yes churros was a surprise element, had not expected that at all. Crisp on the outside and soft and melting on the inside.
An evening well spent. A memorable experience, a taste which will linger for quite sometime. A must visit place for one looking for a pleasant evening and outstanding food.

One of the best places to go for authentic indian food. With great ambience and cosy atmosphere, though they could increase the variety of desserts

Visited La Brassiere for dinner last Sunday with family. Hospitality is excellent. Today , it is rare to have chefs coming to your table and asking for our comments about the food. The chefs at La Brassiere did exactly what I have written in this article. The staff are very attentive and courteous.
Ambiance : Comfy.
Food : Very enjoyable. Lots of veggie options.
Soup : Offered alternative to cream of veg soup. Selected Veg manchow soup. Excellent taste with generous portions.
Starters : Served Paddus and Mangalore Bajjis by the chef at our table. Hara bhara kabab and cutlets excellent. Thank god , no paneer starters for once.
Mains ; STOKED. Eggplant in oriental sauce , veggies cooked Singaorean style , Bhindi do pyaaza , pudina mutter, panner in creamy sauce , assorted bread , Masala Rice , Dal ...Geez..... lost track of other gobbled up items . FABULOUS...
Pasta and Noodle counter : Did not try.
Salads : Many options
Dessert : Minimal options . Barfi , including for diabetics. dumroot halwa, Jal Jeera etc. Chef made up for that by conjuring fresh from the kitchen ,eggless pastries (yummy)
Oh, what a gourmandic experience !
A return visit in store.

The service and the spread was very good. A special mention fot the cheese platter and the deserts in the buffet.Had been for s Saturday lumch. But what was disappointing was the way the starters were served. They were not in the spread and were being served from the kitchen. Very slow in coming and one had to repeatedly ask for it. Other than this everything was good.

The way they spoke to the customer was unexpected. customer who have come for a nice experience to be treated this way is very bad. it would be better if the hotel looks into this matter seriously. Wen the start is bad it won't be a pleasant dinner or lunch either.
Mihir Durgi
Had a very bad experience with one of the staff members.. wouldn't have expected such behavior from a 5 star hotel..food and hotel staff saved the day

Recently we made a family trip to LA Brasserie (Lee Maradian) for buffet lunch. The place is nice. Restaurants is maintaining hygiene. Food wise, you can find continental foods but you are expecting complete Indian menus like multiple veg/non-veg starters, then you will be disappointed. They don't have anything called starters in there buffet.

The food quality is good. We ordered few items like Aaloo paratha, which was not on there buffet menu, they happily served us.

They have decent sweet items on their menu.

All together, we had good dining experiences.

Am three months late in writing a review here about my experience at this restaurant. Had gone to this place for a breakfast buffet for my daughter's 21st birthday. It was such a nice experience, starting from the elaborate spread, to the ambience, to the courteous staff. Everything seemed perfect. The waiter at our table was so attentive and was always around if we needed anything and was yet not being intrusive. They came with a cake and the waiters gathered around our table and sang a birthday song for my daughter and also clicked pictures with their camera and shared it with us. This is the kind of experience one looks forward to while going to a five star restaurant. Keep up the good work.

We were here for their Sunday brunch and must say it’s truly a fine dining experience at La Brasserie!! The starters were perfectly cooked and tasted delicious and had a vast spread rite from paneer to prawns !! The main course was a blend of Indian and continental dishes!! The best part of the brunch was their dessert collection !! And not to forget cotton candy and popcorn to keep the kids happy :) overall it’s a great place to spend the Sunday afternoon !!

I had a visited this place for first time for new year breakfast .
I felt happy about ambience, food was pretty good with multicuine menu .
I would suggest to add some more menu , which people like me would prefer like sandwich , french toast , something in chicken , pancake , waffles .

(Breads was not that fresh ).

Thanks
Siddharth Panigrahi
The soup is good. (3.5/5)

The starters are good. Had lamb, chicken, fish and prawn starters, they tasted nice, except one of the lamb that was hard. (4/5)

The main course was also good. The dishes were good. The biryani can be better (3.5/5)

The desserts are bad. The gajar halwa was very bland and didn't taste good at all. The rasmalai and some other desserts were too sweet. (1/5).

The service and ambience are good. (4.5/5)
Tuhieats
heard so much about it and finally got a chance to go there. The ambience was very classy. It is very well maintained place. The buffet spread was ok. They don’t have much variety in starters. They have very less variety in main course. Taste wise the food was nothing extra ordinary. If you compare with other 5star restaurants, then this is nothing special to talk about. You will get more than good food and huge variety in this price in other places. I liked their desserts section, their pudding, pastries, ice-cream were good

Okay food. Not very happy with the quality though . Could have been better. The delivery was good. Food quality was an issue . Expected more given price.

A good breakfast to kick-start the day.
The beautiful le meredian is the place to be for a luxury stay and a great breakfast.
The spread in the morning was lavish, having dishes from all around the world.
The Blueberry Danish is a must try in the bakery section.
They have a collection of breads and marmalades.
The live counters included puris, paranthas, pancakes, waffles, Dosas, dhoklas and so many different food.
I particularly enjoyed the soft Sannas with the variety of chutneys they had.
Fresh juices made specially for you was just delicious.
We went with our team for dinner. We chose for buffet option. We went after we discussed scope of corporate discount over the phone.
The hospitality of the manager was very poor, he treated the entire team, as if were eating there for free. Limited options of veg starters, they seemed to reluctant over repeating the starters. Plus in desserts options also only one with out egg dessert was available. Taste of food was just average. Over all it was total rip off, not satisfied with anything.

Truly, an underestimated Gem in Bangalore (for me atleast). For about 3 years, i always used to ignore this hotel and its restaurant La Brasserie ('The Brewery') just for one reason - Lack of Exterior Glamour. If you have to experience Hospitality at par with Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai, this is the place. Also, everything and anything is served here with great taste, quality & quantity. Contrary to my preference, i tasted almost all veg dishes & the veg starters stood a level high than non-veg starters which is a huge plus for veggies. Now I wonder like, how could I miss this one for this long ! Special Kudos to Sivanarayan & Team for making our visit for a sunday dinner, so blissfull. I can't praise them enough.

GEM OF A HOTEL AND 1ST CLASS AS WELL!!
Celebrated wifey's birthday with a lavish buffet spread, from the finest meats, cheese and a beautiful wine menu this place has it all. The service is top notch and I really mean this, love the ambiance and the soft music strumming in the background.

Fantastic place & Fantastic staff and a big thank you for maintaining the highest standards of excellence in hospitality.

Cheers!!

I visited this place recently and they have nice buffet spread. The buffet has ample varieties for both veg and non veg dishes. They have good starters and main course also. The chilli veg and pepper mushrooms were awesome. In main course they had very nice koftas and saffron kebabs. The dessert section is amazing. They have both many Indian as well as continental desserts. They have sugar free and diabetic friendly desserts also. The ambience is cozy and the hospitality is amazing. These people are on their toes and will do everything to make you comfortable. This is definitely a must visit.

It serves the purpose. If you are a business Traveller looking for prompt service and a menu that doesn't confuse you, then this is a good place. They something for all. Buffet spread is decent and not something that will attract the major food critics. But hey, this is a place for people who are interested in getting things done and high quality. Have been here more than a few times and never got a chance to complain. 3 for food, 4 for ambience + speed of service + hospitality

Cozy and comfortable interiors, and good food. It is quite an expensive place, but the staff is friendly and there are no constraints on the amount of time one can spend here. We paid approx ₹4000 for two people, and this included 5 dishes and 3 drinks, spread over an entire afternoon!

In short, does not give you a 5* feeling, food is average, service is good, over priced.
We visited La Brasserie for dinner.
Ambiance: setup in a lobby, tables are arranged with ample space.
Food: We opted for buffet.
Grilled meat they had fish, lamb, chicken. I'm not sure which fish it was. Very dry, hard and chewy. Upon inquiring it turned out to be some imported fish. not good for us
grilled Lamb was really-2 good.
Probably that is where good things stopped.
They had a live counter for paddu .. did not find it great. there was no taste in it.
Other starters included indian grill style chicken tikka, fish. both were a tad bit dry. I'm not sure it was bad preperation or just it was left in hot plate for far too long.
Italian live counter did good pasta. Pizza we did not try.
Noodle live counter was positioned in such a way, I could not even see it until I already started my dessert.
Main course there were plenty of option but nothing which I would like to mention about.

Dessert mainly continental and ice cream. nothing great again.
Used an offer 1+1 else would've pinched me even more.

While rating I was thinking , Zomato should increase granularity or increase scale from 1 till 10. I would have rated more than 4, but definitely not 5, so no option but 4. Anyway that's for Zomato.

We went at this place for family dinner for birthday celebration. We were welcomed by their front staff with full warmness,we were early .we chose place next to window overseeing pool outside.

Decor is grand with good lighting and chandelier gives luxurious feel.Being early brought attention of all staff to our table and we enjoyed that. Looking at options and since I had Gourmet Passport which offers one free buffet with one bought, so we decided to go for buffet. We were served by Kim and she and her team did their job well. Starters have lot of options and they were all served at Table. Almond soup tasted good. Grilled Fish, Fish fingers , Sheek kabab, , Chicken and Lamb chops tasted well. In veg I tried Masala vada, Mushroom and baby corn all good , served with green mint chutney and tasted well. Sushi with wasabi tasted really good. fiery punch from wasabi was not that common at all all places serving Sushi, you should try wasabi made here. Chef , Tenzing came and explained us, ingredients of wasabi and what makes it's punches so strong. Veg main course had good options and it tasted really awesome. Okra with Onion was great and so was Daal Makhani, though Palak kofta and palak with Makhna was also great , but Daal Makhani and Okra were outstanding.

With so many items on the main course , I skipped non veg section of Non veg main course and took only Mutton biryani with raitha and happy with my decision. Biryani was cooked well and Raitha made with beaten curd was good. Desserts has quite good options and I learnt from another chef Saurav ,that if you need other flavors of Ice cream, they can serve from kitchen, which shows how much committed their staff for customer satisfaction. Though pastries , caramel and Dahi Vada were good other Indian sweets like double ka meetha and chanar pais was average, it tasted extra sweet to me.

I wrapped up my dinner with Mango and Black current Ice cream and both were great.

Staff service was good and they took nice care of us, few names which I mentioned are good at hospitality. Overall we had good times for dinner.
Deepti
I want to rate this place with a 3.5 but I can't because Zomato doesn't allow it. We were here on a Monday evening for dinner and the staff was extremely courteous. However, the food was average and not that great. We had the asparagus soup which was decent. But the starters were not too great. The loaded potatoes were okay but the breaded mushrooms were terrible. Our main course was a Chinese dish called mixed vegetables in devil's sauce which was also just average. The grilled cottage cheese steak was decent.
RK
Had heard a lot about the Buffet and the spread so wanted to experience it for sometime now. Finally got a chance to check out this place on a Saturday evening. The spread was big but, nothing extraordinary or extravagant. Yes they had a lot of options for main course but, sadly not much for starters. There was a dedicated chaat counter and not sure how many chaats were being offered, we took only panipuri. It was nice but the guy took forever to make a plate. The noodle bar was offering customised noodles which was ok. But, the pasta was really nice. The dessert was a bit of a disappointment. It had variety of pastries, pudding and cheesecake but, nothing innovative or fun. There were marshmallows only for display. It was an ok experience. I do not think I will go back here. Specially when I am yet to experience so many options out there. If you have Gourmet Passport, then you can give this place a try.

LA BRASSERIE is the buffet restaurant located in the lobby of LE MERIDIAN hotel. It charges about 1700 per head for a buffet dinner and is a fine example of average food coated with luxury.

The service was good and staff was polite. The ambience of the restaurant is good.

Starters has a lot of options available but taste was average few items were cold so did not taste good. Live grill section was good and options available on live grill section for Veg was tasty.

The main course items were tasty.

Dessert section was a average not overall experience was good but buffet was not worth of 1700.

The spread is good and has good variety. The ambiance is OK OK. But the food and courteous staff make up for it. Go for Gourmet Passport to save money on the brunch

Been there for breakfast buffet with family. The atmosphere is nice, all of the staff also friendly as well. There are various type of food. The miso soup and choco flourless pudding are superb. Worth for the money.

The food was amazing! And the chef is a very hospitable and skilled man. Chef Ravi, did a splendid job with the Andhra Kozhi Chicken biryani. One must try the fish moiley with mango! Absolutely splendid food here and the red Thai curry veg or non- veg. Must visit if here in Bangalore

Food- 4/5
Ambience- 4.5/5
Service- 4.5/5
Spread- 2.5/5 ( Very less starters and main course)
Hygiene- 5/5
Price- 3.5/5
Parking- 5/5

Been there to celebrate anniversary event. The photos excited us and the offer on Dineout even more excited us. So we had head here to celebrate our quiet anniversary.

Le Meridian, without second thought is one of the premium hotels. So the ambience and look and feel aspect automatically scores high and matches or exceeds expectation for someone who is not going daily to 5 stars :)

Food spread and quality was not quote good. Starters variety and main course variety was too less.

Though the bread and patisserie section was too good to make up.

La Brasserie - Excellent classy location, good food, great service. Favourite mid night dinner place. Love the pastries. Love the buffet as well. Loved the biryani there. Keep up the good job. Love going back.

Went here for dinner with my husband.

the buffet spread is great and everything tasted authentic and good. more than the food I should definitely mention the efforts taken by the staff here to make you feel comfortable and better. all the small requests like extra lemon etc were very well taken care of.

on the day we went, on the live counter pav bhaji was being served and it was one of the best pav bhaji I had after my stay in Mumbai!

An amazing place to be. I went with a close friend as these guys have a women's day offer going on. And guess what the offer is!?

Your discount percentage is equal to your height. We got 59% and 56% discounts respectively. This offer was for their lunch and dinner buffet.

But this alone is not the fun part. I have not had quite an outstanding experience at buffets offered by high-end hotels. Le Meridien has been one big exception. Not only was the food a treat to the taste buds, but the variety was mouth watering as well.

Their mutton biryani is something I had not tasted in quite a while now. The rice was cooked to cotton-like fluffiness, and the mutton flavor was finely blended in the dish. And, if someone wishes to know how to achieve balance with in cooking - the chef responsible for this biryani is whom you to get in touch with!

The vegetarian food was good as well, masala bhindi turned out to be my favorite.

Not to forget, the rabadi with gave a proper finish to the luncheon.

Overall, we loved being there. The staff, was particularly sweet. And as it is, the actual buffet comes around Rs. 1244 - which I feel is a decent price, given the quality of food they serve.

Looking forward to visiting this place again 😊

Went to this place for a Lunch buffet on the occasion of my wife’s birthday. Had a coupon from dineout that helped to make the decision for selecting La Brasserie.
The ambience is wonderful, spread is appreciable, food is tasty- this includes the main course and desserts. Salads and the pasta at the live counter were good.
What I think needs a special mention is about the people attending the tables. Mr. Simran Suri made the occasion special.
We would like to be back for dinner or brunch definitely.

• Ambience - 5/5
The ambience is amazing. There are chandeliers hanging over your head and the place in general gives off a very sophisticated vibe.
• Food - 3.5/5
I went for the dinner buffet. They have a really good spread of breads and dips. I really liked the fact that they had veg sushi which tasted really yum. But I was disappointed with the desserts. They looked really appetising but they looked better than they tasted. I felt that they could’ve had more variety in the main courses as well.
• Service - 5/5
The staff is extremely attentive and courteous. They were very humble when I gave them an honest critic about their food. The chef also personally came out to speak to me. Very few restaurants actually value and care about their customers. So I really appreciated that.
Considering the fact that this is in one of first five star properties in the city, there services are hardly surprising. Great place to have food .located right next to the pool too.

Went for their Sunday Brunch.

Quite disappointed, especially when it was Le Meridian, and expensive too.

Firstly, not enough variety. I've been to similarly priced buffets with a significantly wider spread.

Secondly, whatever was available wasn't that palatable. Average, I'll say.

Won't recommend at all.

LA BRASSERIE is the buffet restaurant located in the lobby of LE MERIDIAN hotel. It charges about 1700 per head for a buffet dinner and is a fine example of below average food wrapped sugar coated with luxury.

The spread is huge ! Every single section has a lot of options. The salads has quite a good number of options with sushi being the start attraction. The sushi rice was too cold and the fish tasted odd. Fish salad was actually good but the rest was nothing much to be mentioned. They also had a roasted fish which was cold , hard and bland.

The starter section had a good number of options for both veg and non veg. Basa fish was tasty and the chicken starter was Good, while the rest of them were pretty ordinary. None of them were spicy and was mostly like warm. They also had a live grill section which all possible non veg options. Grilled prawns were the pick of them. It was really tasty.Grilled lamb was good as well. But the same could not be told about fish or paneer. They did not taste good. The live section was the only saving grace of this restaurant.

The main course section was pretty elaborate. Goan fish curry and dum biryani were the pick of the lot. Both are a must try here. Even the lamb in Mexican sauce was tasty. Rest of the items were pretty ok.Fish in the crazy sauce was not at all good and the fish tasted old..I did not try the veg options but they looked to have good variety.

Dessert section was a big let down. Even though it was huuuuuuge, not even a single item was worth repeating. The Indian sweets were filled with peDas which we generally get in bakeries. Muffin pudding was over cooked and the roasted rasgulla was average. The rest of the desserts were kept in freezer which made them too cold to eat and hard to enjoy the taste. They did have pastries, cheese cake , mousse, custard, cakes etc but none of them tasted good due to cold. This was a big let down.

The service was pretty good. There is some one available all the time at your service. They are cordial to you. The ambience of the restaurant is good. It looks grand and the arrangements gives it a rich look.

On the whole , it was a disappointment for me. The food was more about quantity and not taste. The dessert section needs a big rework while the starters need to be checked on the taste and warmth. I would go with a 2.5 out of 5. This is not a place I would go in search of. We have far better options for such a high price in Bangalore.

Must go place if one is fond of 5 star ambience and hospitality. Of all the food items we tried, fried prawns and spicy corns were really great!!
It was a hurried lunch for me, so could not try more of the items.
Worth as 5 rating for the company i had there.

Thanks to mona ;) Monika Dhillon
Amazing food and hospitality. They serve you as per your choice and have a variety in buffet breakfast. You should try Buritos and club sandwiches for sure. Cheers !!!

Been here for a couple of times now and i am never dissapointed with this place...the buffets have amazing spread(perhaps the best) and they also have a few drinks(non alcoholic) included in the buffet which is rare in any of the 5 stars. The management goes out of the way to make u feel warm and welcomed ..they even give u discounts if u ask them which again is not done by any of the 5 stars. And to top it off..they have the cheapest buffet for a 5 star.. No wonder i have been here for so many times now ;)

One of my most frequented joints in the early 2000’s this place has retained its style and substance. But for the fact that a political show at the hotel almost ruined our night with the so called supporters all over the place like ants and misbehaving with the staff it was a very nice reminder of the lovely times that I used to have here.

As this was a late night visit we restricted ourself mostly to midnight bites and coffee. Club sandwiches, burgers and the like but boy oh boy were we in for a treat. The club sandwich especially was out of this world.

I also have to mention that the staff were very cooperative and understanding about our concerns regarding the disruption in the decorum and did their best to assuage us.

Hopefully the next visit will not have this kind of unfortunate disturbance.

Cheers,

M_A_F

What's In Your Menu.?!
Wow what a place.!!!

The best address to enjoy Sunday Brunch in Bangalore. They have soo many varities, that if u by taste a bit of everything also u will be full.

Indeed the taste is as rated as 5star hotel and crew and takes care of Customers very well.

They deserve 5.00 for everything.

We sometimes come here for breakfast and to savour some items considered gourmet, this part of the world!
The ambience is quite nice and staff extremely helpful; they sometimes go out of the way to please you!
Coming to food, this place probably offers the largest number of dishes put up for breakfast. Besides the regular fare, we enjoy the various types of cheeses, croissants etc. Good stock of Indian/ continental veg and non veg items (I "superlike" the smoked salmon). Live counter makes awesome waffles and parathas among other items. They also have a Chinese section. Overall, always happy to be back!

The best open ham sandwich and breakfast I have ever had, it was nicely done without a doubt....

The carrot, orange and beet root juice was nicely done. The bread was crisp and so was there service. Pathetic hitel service otherwise.

Had been wanting to visit this place after reading it's reviews. Finally decided to go for a breakfast.
La Brasseries gives the feels of European style. They have an amazing huge buffet. They have Indian, continental and Chinese. Each dish was better than the other. Tasted most of the dishes and just loved them. The different types of breads are my favourite. They have live cooking for dosas, waffles, eggs, noodles etc. There are many options to choose from.

The staff is well experienced and very good. They even suggest you what to take. The shakes and desserts were amazing. The quality and quantity is really good. Must go for breakfast. It's also not very expensive.

Food: 5/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Price: 4/5
Service: 4/5
Viraj Creations!
Le Meridien never disappoints. Loved their gurgaon outlet and bangalore is even more impressive . Staff courtesy is impeccable! Breakfast buffet has a plethora of options with one of the widest live counter selection. Thumbs up to dhokla, waffles, pancake, samosa, lasagna, poori bhaji and dosa. Phew !

Layout of the buffet breakfast here is something that should never be skipped. They have a wide range of exotic food assortment along with the regular stuff. The milk tea that was served was on the low for it has that weird smell of staying in a flask for a long time. Had to swap it with a coffee. Dinner buffet is ok, but not as cool as their breakfast

One of the best buffet I've had in Bangalore. Right from the starters to desserts, every single dish was wonderful. They had more than 15 variety of starters in different forms, like grill, steamed, fry. I personally loved the chicken, fish n pork ribs they had plenty of flavour and was done well! The main course had 20+ variety and I tasted around 12 dishes and I loved their naans n curries. The mutton biryani was extremely flavourful and had sufficient spices. The meat was cooked extremely well and it would just melt in your mouth. And coming to the desserts I just cannot express them in words, they were so good that I would just eat them again n again!
Overall an amazing experience and worth going there more than once!

Had been here for dinner and I took dinner buffet. The buffet have a nice spread with Indian Chinese Continental. I liked the food here they have a nice starters and they have live counters. The staff have a good experience and always serve you better. For the main course also they gave nice spread with Indian style biryani too
Coming to my favourite part desserts and I really loved it
They have a few unique dessert of their own
Food 3.5/5
Staff 4/5
Ambience 4.5/5
Value for money 3/5

Went for a lunch for a friend's birthday celebration. Arrived little late. As soon as we arrived, staff informed us that the lunch hours is closing soon.. They kept asking to send the mail regarding coupons. Food was very average. Nothing outstanding. There were not much options left for starters. As for the fried rice, rice was not cooked properly. I had to hurry through the lunch.. Though informed prior, there was no celebration of the occassion. The least I was expecting was a note on the birthday.. I regret going here!!

Had come here for a celebration on a special occasion. We decided to try the lunch buffet and I was impressed with the spread on offer, which was delicious.

It doesn't get any better than this!! Possibly the best dining experience I've ever had so far and I've been to quite a lot of places in many countries. The staff here is the high light. Restaurant could do with more ambience but feels nice and cosy. The staff welcomes you and most of the time the head chef is there at the buffet selection. He guides you giving you suggestions on what you'd like to have and his recommendations. Explains each and every dish. We're Sri Lankan and he even said us how to make some Indian items even. Where do you get such service?! On a private jet maybe... same applies to desserts. It's like a personal tour of the buffet and the live kebab counter delivers fresh food right to your table. Full marks for staff and service. Food is also a massive highlight. You can literally eat till you drop here.... one of the very best and would certainly stay at the hotel again love it!! Perfection!!

It was my 5th wedding anniversary.. We were quite excited about the spread though but wanted some more vegetarian options..

Ambience: So much sophistication and loved the lighting too..

Food: Very nice spread but could've increased the veg options..

Service: They were very polite and patient for all the pranks by my daughter(ha ha)

Price: For the standards of Le Meridien, I don't think that's a too much.. Once in a while, it's ok to be a spend thrift..

The staff was very courteous too..

Overall I rate my experience a 4.0 stars..

This restaurant is part of Le Meridien Hotel, situates in the far end of lobby. This one is their main diner. Dining area is visible from lobby, which is elevated few feets from the lobby area.

Had been there for two days, had their breakfast, lunch and dinner. Interiors were well decorated and light instrumental music was playing on background. The food is multi cuisine lavish buffet. Their staffs were courteous and reliable, quite helpful in guiding and choosing right dish. Being a star hotel, they prepare the food in whatever manner you want. But ofcourse, I feel non veg items are not that good, they had 3 types of chicken, 2 types of lamp and 2 types of fish, it all was tasty but not memorable. I mainly took veggies and dessert, which were delectable and great. For breakfast, tried Appam and stew one day, which was great, dosa was not that good. Juice and other accompaniments were good.

Overall a place to eat with style and the experience is really worth.
(Food - 4/5, Decor - 4/5, Ambience - 4/5, service - 4/5, overall - 4/5)
I had stayed at Le Meridien on a business trip and happen to had dinner and breakfast from here. The spread was huge for both dinner and breakfast. But I was not very satisfied on the taste. There was no dish that is worth remembering. Service was very good though.

The staff are courteous and the ambience is also fine. Now coming to food being a five star restaurant the price is not a concern but the quality of food should increase a bit as compared to other restaurants.

3.5 stars is only for the ambiance and staff. The food is below average and yeah lets not talk about the cost as its a 5 star. Tried the Jalapeno Poppers(decent) and Subz Dum Biriyani(Horrible)
Ambiance: 4.5/5
Food: 2.5/5
Staff: 4.5/5
Cost: 2.5/5

One of the best places from location point of veiw , parking don't bother there is ample space for it

The restaurant staff is very warm and friendly and makes a honest attempt to deliver all your needs

The decor and the ambiance is SUPERB and you will fall in love instantly

Coming to food , their buffet is evenly spread and as being a veggie I had a limited choice for it, one thing which we enjoyed is their assorted desserts the muffins, desi sweets and fruit juices are good.

For deity friendly people a lot of veggie starters makes it worth to consume a little more than they can

They serve a hot Roti's naans and other assorted Indian bread and their chefs cooks awesome non veg buffet which most of my non veg friendly friends appreciated.

Pricing wise pretty decent

Have fun

I have passed by this 5 star hotel at least a 100 times for sure and have always wanted to visit it.. Finally went here for a buffet lunch today, thanks to client visit 😃
Le meridien is located right opposite to golf club on the sankey road..

Ambiance: obviously beautiful and well maintained 💁

Food: (from a Vegetarian's point of view)
Star hotels as usual doesn't offer spicy food, that hits our taste buds, which is why I didn't have high expectations😏
-Starters: soup was very tasty, starters were truly disappointing..
there were a lot of options, but almost everything I tried was bland like sushi, boiled potatoes, fried corn, ladies finger...etc salads and dhai pakodi were delicious..
spicy pasta tasted good though not too spicy
(Skipped the main course as I didn't want more bland food entering my stomach😒)
-desserts: kheer, milkshake and almost every dessert I tried here was luscious, thus a happy end😃

Food: 3/5
Ambiance: 5/5
QFM: 3/5

Would love to go back if I don't have to eat here😛

I visited this place for dinner buffet. On entering the restaurant we were greeted by the management staff and taken to our table. We were seated and provided with the the menu for the evening. The place is big and is usually filled with family and corporate people. Their buffet spread is huge with a lot of different varieties of dishes.

We started off with some veg and non veg starters. They have a live tandoor counter to provide some great dishes. We had so much of the starters that there was hardly any place left for main course. There are too many dishes on the main course. So many that i did not know what to have..I ended up only tasting just a few dishes. All of them were great. They have a live counter for Dosa as well.

Finally coming to their desserts..Oh yes there is always place for desserts! Their pomegranate panacotta was AhhhMazing!!! Sad part was it came in a small shot glass. I could have an entire bowl of that. They had many other desserts on display. Tasted all of them and they were equally good .

I cant wait to visit this place again. Especially knowing that menu changes regularly. Next time I am keeping place for main course as well :D

They have a pretty big buffet spread for dinner. The ambience is also quite nice, very spacious and a large area has been demarcated for the restaurant.
The food was pretty good, although I'd have liked a little more on the dessert section. The service was efficient and prompt. As the appetisers are served at the table, they tend to go a little overboard with them, leaving not a lot of place for the mains! Food was well seasoned and there was a good spread for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
Had a great evening and looking forward to going there once more!

I frankly love Le Meridien as a hotel and have found their food to be quite good during every one of my stays. This food of course was all at La Brasserie. The service is impeccable albeit a tad bit formal (I did feel awkward in the morning when it was just me having breakfast and the excess service was not something I am accustomed to)
Breakfast is excellent here. I do wish they would work on their waffle and pancake recipes. Pancakes are a bit too thick and chewy and waffles need to be lighter and flufflier.
Keep up the good work and I would recommend any guest to enjoy the breakfast here.

Great consistency in quality of breakfast , great variety, presentation and most notably brilliant service. Plenty of options for South Indians as well as North Indians. Also, their breads, muffins are plain delicious.
The poolside was very decorated as per theme. The ambiance was 5/5. The food was not satisfactory. The staff was very courteous. The live music was good.

I was here for a dinner buffet . The staff was extremely courteous and welcoming .
The manager got us the menu spread for the evening and took us to the counters and provided an insight of the dishes served .
I must say the spread was more than HuGe . I should mention we took good four hours to complete our meal that evening . Yay you read it write . There were soups, salads, different kinds of breads , starters- chinese, Indian, and a live tandoor counter , sushis ( a wide variety with 4 options in veg and nonveg each) . The main course which most of them tend to give up after a heavy starter session was splendid too .
The best part for the last -yes the desserts . There were almost 20 varieties just of desserts be it the Indian sweets , the pastries , different kinds of mouse ,panacotta

Coconut panacotta and the pomegranate panacotta top the list of brilliant desserts for me here . They were absolutely brilliant!!

I had an super amazing dinner buffet at this place and the staff were amazing too . After spending 4 hours eating all of it they even offered us green tea/lemon tea options . So yes I loved this place and will look forward to visit this place the next time .

Ambience. -4
Food- 4

Ashmitha

Went over to the Brassiere last week for dinner with my colleague anticipating a great buffet and experience but went away disappointed.

The only choice in meat and sea food was small prawns and lamb chops for starters other than the standard chicken fare. The first serving of Lamb chops was good, well done and full of taste , the next time around was bland, raw and bloody. The prawns weren't much o sing about but got the job done for my taste buds.

The buffet choices were poor and not much in the starter and main course section especially for the meat eaters.

Going to be my one and only experience at this restaurant.

Had been here last Tuesday for a buffet dinner.

Very cozy ambiance, with excellent setup of tables. Enjoyed the lavish buffet dinner and were surprised by the wide spread of dishes. Amazing starters and desserts.

Quick service and perfect place for that quiet dinner date with your partner.

Me and my husband loved the place totally and will definitely visit again.

Very good restaurant with friendly staff. The dishes are tasty with much lot of varieties. We enjoyed out lunch. I shall vote 5star for this one. :)

If there were points for ambience, La Brasserie would win it hands down! An absolute delight to dine in a well cornered area within Le Meridien, it oozes class and courteousness.

An opportunity to meet a foreign national and strike a wonderful conversation over cups of warm coffee, baguette and bagels and international cuisine is always on the cards here.

Priced highly to entertain a crowd that enjoys fine dining, I'd suggest this place to anyone who enjoys good company, globally acclaimed dishes and appreciates the art of fine dining.

Enjoy yourself with poise and receive respect for making a fine dining choice.

A magnificent place for a date with first-class service and sublime food. The hakka noodles we ordered were cooked to perfection. Even the malabar fish curry with rice tasted authentic with good quantity for 2 people.
Funnily enough neither of the 2 hosts knew how to serve beer(foam foam everywhere )😓
But overall an evening to remember, makes you wanna come back for more!😊

Went here before a Sunday afternoon, what a nice place the decor is so interesting and the food and service were wonderful. Great selection of a brunch and lunch menu, we were five and all tried different things but the pancake were are favorite but all were great and the service was very attentive, Will try this place again for dinner soon, if you good ask to spend more time at the bar. A suitable and nice place to come for a drink and hang out.

The good part of this restaurant is its open 24 hours and is not too expensive. I have been here about 5 times and at all times it was around 3AM or so for after party dinner. The Dal Chawal, Chicken Biryani, Vegetable Biryani, Club Sandwich have kept us going on different occasions. All items are fairy good and priced well. For dessert the hot gulab jamun and the gajjar halwa are my favorites here. Service is good too. If I want a really late night meal this is my default choice.
Hasita Krishna
Keep in mind that you pay here only for two things- the impeccable service and the wide spread of food. We went for a Sunday brunch and I loved every minute of their attentive service. The soups and starters are quite nice, the appam counter is good, mains are okay for a place that charges so much. Loved the Earl Grey panna cotta, the Chocolate routine and the petit fours. All starters were very good. In the mains, would have loved to see more cuisine options, and I was surprised there was no pasta.

came for dinner. had the buffet ,,spread was very good with lot of choices espacially the grill counter was awsome n staff at the live station were very helpful. the chef and kitchen staff will go out of the way to accommodate guests' requests. Hospitality of the staff is amazing and you as a guest are well taken care off.

One of the best place to dine in the city. Dinner buffet is just wow. You got live grilled unlimited lamb chops, prawns, chicken, fish everything. Buffet spread is really awesome and food taste is lipsmacking. I would love to go back there again and again.

Beware. This restaurant not recommended for pure vegetarians. U never know what you are served. Being a pure vegetarian, had a very bad experience here.
La brasserie, v stayed up in le meridian. After swimming session v tried out Sunday brunch thr. Good spread out...i wud say a decent one. Fair amount of deserts, salads, juices, starters, main course n all. They had sugar candy, waffles n pav bhaji too. Taste was pretty good too. U had live music too. But v kind off went late so couldn't peacefully njoy the full spread out. I just wish they cud hv made fresh juice on demand rather than keep them bottled. Their brunch is try able on any lazy sunday😊

La Brasserie is the in-house coffee shop of Le Meridian hotel. We went there on a Sunday for family dinner. A classy place in conventional way, La Brasserie is on the right side of the hotel on ground floor itself. It has an elegant décor with sufficient space available to walk around (this is one thing that goes missing in most of the popular restaurants) and get your Buffet spread. This is a place to get pampered by the hospitality provided by the staffs. And, since gorging and elegance do not go hand in hand, please do not expect value for money.

They serve good food, in proper quantities, and sufficient varieties. Grilled fish, chicken, prawns and lamb chops that were served on the table were delicious. They had crab meat, salmon and prawn sushi and each of them were perfect! The fresh fruits, juice and shakes kept on the rocks were fresh and appetizing. Loved their starters so much that no room was left for main course. So I preferred to move my favorite section- desserts. And I loved each and every dessert starting from chocolate and fresh mango to fig and honey cheese cake. Just wish they had more than one option in ice cream.

It was a good experience for all of us and I would love to visit this place again for their desserts and hospitality.

Nothing much to impress ..... Ambience is ordinary , food is tasteless , n service is mediocre. More importance is given to in guest . One time visit for foodies for experience but definitely not for others as the restaurant is boring .

I have had a great time by having Lunch at The coffee shop last week. The food was amazing specially the stuffed mushrooms and not to forget the lovely hot Dosas which were a part of the buffet. About service and hospitality it was top class. Efficient staff who ensure all your needs are exceeded. Quality of food & portion size are good, with adequate variety.

I liked the place very much. Good ambiance, courteous staff, great food. Went there for a business lunch, the buffet spread was long, lots of salad options, both veg and non veg delicious, desserts were the best, they had quite a lot of options, I took two rounds for the dessert alone ;p.
