Fantastic place. Good is great. I was the last person to reach the restaurant, but still they agreed to give me the food..nice people and great service.

Full marks to this place. Food was awesome but the service was even better. My compliments to the management and kitchen.

Very nice place but steak 🥩 should be improved about how to cook it. Staffs are nice. Please book a car in advance if you don’t have your own due to at evenings, rarely have Uber or ola driver.

This was my 1st visit to this branch of Portland and I was quite surprised to see that's it's completely away from the regular commercial establishments. Few things I noticed Parking : There wasn't any vallet or security. Had to do the road parking. Roads are wide and Manny cars were parked there even though every 50mts there was a board saying NO PARKING. Ambience: Vibrant and subtle. Soft music with spaces out tables. Gives a good feel Service: Good and efficient Food : As expected, it was really good. The captain knows the food and suggested accordingly. Apple pie was just brilliant. Negatives : None really noticeable except the parking. Overall experience: Excellent fine dine.

We went as a group and tried out some steaks, burgers,hot dogs, cappuccino, fresh lime and cheesecake. Must say that the ingredients they used are of the best quality. The food was really good and what i really loved was their Cheesecake, the dessert was just exquisite.

The best place to have some good steaks...steaks were cooked to perfection. Service was quick. I liked the ambiance as well. Nothing much to complain about.

We went for Thanksgiving dinner and came back happier than ever! Butternut Squash Soup, Roast Turkey Meal and Pumpkin Pie … mouth watering as I type this 😊 We also went with a Chardonnay to boot! Place is perfect for fine dining. We were served and the owners stopped by to have few words with us. The staff was very cordial and we really enjoyed the pampering and all the delicious food. A must go place for your next Thanksgiving 😍

One of the best place for steak I’ve tried. I ordered the bhut jholokia marinated steak and it exceeded my expectations. The waiter kept saying it’d be spicy but as someone coming from the land of that spice, it was mildly tingly. The taste was absolutely brilliant. I will definitely come again. I might try out some other steaks but I don’t think I can resist this bhut jholokia one when I sit down.

In my opinion the best place in Bangalore. The food is excellent and the waiter was very attentive. There's only one problem, there's no beer. However, Indian wines are of high quality. I recommend the place!!!

Have been coming to this place from when they have opened . Amazing food and amazing hospitality especially mr dexter who knows what we want and gives us the best food and best service. But last night had been there with friends and some one new working there called ruchi sitting on our head for the order first . And through out our meal she keeps coming and checking again and again making sure we are finishing up quickly and by 11.20 she comes by again telling us to hurry as they have to close i mean is this the way you treat customers not letting us finish our meal and asking us to hurry up and leave as they are getting late to go home . Shitty bloody service and attitude. Don’t think will be going back till she is there . You need to keep male staff as they can stay a little longer and put a notice up at the entrance “ do not sit here and eat after 11.30 if not we will eat u up “ thats the feeling we got

We have been regulars since this place started and have been avid promoters in the past. Over the last year though things have been on a downward slide. Both quality and service seem to be exponentially decreasing while the prices are headed the other way. We had a family lunch for 5 planned on Christmas day...after waiting a while to be seated we ordered our beverages and mains..the beverages took a while but the mains were no where to be seen for over an hour (all the while, we had not even received water) on requesting the Steward we were bluntly told that the dish will be served when ready...after the wait what was a real letdown was the quality of the meal... Really horrible..

It was New year's day n wat better way to start the year than some awesome steak. Right? Well we booked our table for ten n reached there by 8.50pm. Then starts our nightmare 2017. We waited for an hour before anyone came to our table to tk our order. Thinking the staff s busy we ordered wine juices starters n main course all together so we won't hv to wait long. The starters took their time coming, the main course came in instalments so by the time everyone got their food the others were like ice, our. Drinks n wine came long after the main course was served after being reminded thrice, we had to ask for breadsticks about 4 times before they gave us those. The steaks were mixed up ppl at our table had to taste their food n then pass on the food to the others who ordered those dishes. Omg utter horror! The service was the worst ever n really pathetic considering we had guests visiting from overseas. 2 Steaks were rare n had to be returned to be done again. It was a really bad start to our new year. Really sad we chose this place.

Had Porterhouse steak here, medium rare, cooked really well. The demi-glace was yummy. I'm hardly a red meat person, but this stuff won me over! Mushroom cappuccino and cream of chicken soup were deliciously full of flavor too 😊

Went to Portland while I was on holiday twice and the food was amazing great vegetarian menu for me and the desserts were so yummy Thankyou for a lovely meal

Crapshoot of a place. Where chefs don't know the difference between rare and medium rare. And when you point it out, they merely hear it up so that the steak gets FUBAR. Oh and you can only order from a shit selection of wine.

My first time there..was a competitor for fisherman's warf. Reservation was easy. Nice ambience. Calm n serene. But bit of a blunt look. Could use some warmth for new customers. Food was good. Mashed potatoes were ok. Steak and mojito..loved it..nephew loved the pulled beef pizza...light on the purse too..calamari was nice...a decent experience overall..

Amazing steaks...loved the lamb chops as well..portion size is generous compared to other steak houses...worth the cost...

I ordered the fish and chips but it was horrible. The wish didn't have any texture. All watery and to be honest disgusting. French fries looked like they were the frozen kind. They didn't have any red wine which my husband and I both think it is such a shame for a steakhouse. Got bitten by lots of mosquitoes . They didn't put any inscent by the garden.

Food good. Place in a mess . Toilets absolutely filthy ....I was there on Sunday . Come on Portland . You can do better . It doesn’t take much effort to sweep the floor or clean the toilets. And a coat of white paint for the furniture would help

We had a school reunion,a small group of 15....felt very homely in Port land Steakhouse....excellent food , wonderful ambience, and good service....was all worth the visit....It would be next hang out places

Heard, went, ate and got blown away by the lovely steaks they serve here. Went there couple of times for only steaks and loved them..cooked to perfection. Other sides costed them one star but overall a very good place to keep into consideration in case you crave steaks.. Cheers!

This is the place you need to be dining at if you're celebrating a special occasion or catching up with a special someone.<br/><br/>It's on the expensive side, so make your visit here count. The food is good, and the ambience is great.

Head up to this place for those vintage vibes , especially the dark candlelight-lit ambience resembling the restaurants from times of Sherlock Holmes, with stout men dressed in white striding across with a professional gait and profound mannerism. The menu is dominated by steaks and pizzas mainly as the name says, and crafted beverages . The prices are slightly on the higher side ,but justified for the premium feels. I had the best creme brulee ever, with a soft base and the crust so crispy and caramely, that you get lost while taking a bite.

The best steak I had in Bangalore. They have lots of really good options here. And their service is amazing too.

Went for breakfast, there is a choice for big plate and small plate.. both quite filling with a varieties of items.

1 lt kinley water having mrp ₹20 was being sold for ₹100 and 1 can schweppes ginger ale having mrp ₹55 was being sold at ₹120. Upscale restaurants do have high prices but it's illegal to charge higher than mrp

This place used to be one of my favourites but my recent visit really let me down. I hope things get better here at pdx steakhouse and they are back to their 100% awesome food and service.

This place is completely overhyped. We ordered the Grilled lamb steak. The steak came in 3 peices. The taste was also very average and the veggies were not properly sauted. The serve looked big but it was because the way it is served. We also ordered a ceaser salad which was very plain and there are many other restaurants which make it way more better. The cream of chicken was also just ok. Actually we went there with very high expectations by looking at the rating but honestly there are other restaurants in Bangalore who do more justice to the dishes which were served. I don't know about beef, chicken and fish but the lamb steak is definitely not a delicacy.

Steaks were chewy. Also it's not child friendly. I didn't like the overall experience at all.

When we try to call and book a table they <br/>answer their phone and keep it aside without talking. This has happened not once or twice but 8 times, on two different numbers.

One of the very few places with authentic cuts and steaks in Bangalore. The service is very warm and the desserts are also yummy.

We had ordered Mediterranean pizza, which needs a special mention..for being really bad. The first time it came out charred. The spitfire piri piri chicken steak and penne alfredo was moderately good not something great. Broccoli and almond soup did not have a good consistency. Overall, we did have great expectations which actually fell flat!

The quality of food was absolutely mediocre. The Mediterranean pizza came burnt, we had to reorder. The lamb steak was good but that's that. The tables didn't even have proper cutlery.<br/>Thoroughly disappointed.

It is a well lit place with right music and volume. We were greeted well and attended on time with appropriate serving time.<br/><br/>We had an interactive attendant, Shane. Absolute mediocre food quality and taste for such price point. Everything is overpriced. We tried house wine, chicken soup, chicken wings, chicken and lamb steak. Everything was average or below average quality and taste wise. Lamb steak was not even properly cooked and tender. Ambience is below average too. What I felt is that the pricing of the food items is the only premium thing there. Service is good.

This is a review of their Halloween Special Dinner menu. The meal started with a refreshing lemonade. Just the right zing. Starter was a Chicken Saltimbocca. A mix of crusted chicken with creamy spinach. Interesting concept. Delicately roasted with cajun or equivalent spices. Spinach was a good foil. Nice plating. Next was the entree. The steak was juicy, soft and paired with a simple tangy red wine sauce. Mushrooms and baked potatoes round off the experience. Zucchini, carrots and shallots bring in a bit of health, thus reducing the guilt. Quality of meat could improve. But that could be put down to a sourcing constraint. Korean grass fed or Angus Prime, is too much to ask. Dessert was a moist walnut cake. Not too sweet. A perfect meal. Great service.

Went for a late lunch at around 3:30....nice interiors ordered farmers market salad,double cheese burger,philly cheese beef pizza ,stir fried pepper steak and steak supreme and an apple pie.....the was nice

Portlan Steak House is a must visit if you're looking to have an authentic steak. Wouldn't recommend to have anything else on the menu.

This is a good place for a freshly made steak and some wine. Good quality food and quick service is what I enjoyed the most. Their starters, main course and desert were indeed very good

The timing reflecting on zomato is incorrect. I had booked a table and found out that it was cancelled after I reached.

Ordered 1 tomahawk steak. And most of the steak was fat. I have tried many steaks from many parts of the world and this was one of the worst. Just to add more weight and price to the steak they keep too much fat . Felt humiliated for going there. Will never go again.

Case of a place which did not live up to the hype. Well done up place with a decent ambience. But the lethargic service ruined the experience. Food wise it was quite decent. Burger, steaks, all was fine. But not the pleasant overall experience which you expect.

The waiting time is around 20mins since steaks take time to cook. Good Italian Europa style ambience.... a little expensive on the food menu but overall good place for a quite time to spend with loved ones....

We visited this place on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch. There was hardly any guest but due to a simple fact that it was late afternoon. The ambience is pretty chilled out. The staff is friendly and attentive. We ordered for a filet mignon with ghost chilli sauce and a piri piri chicken steak. The filet mignon was well done though we asked for medium rare. However, they quickly replaced the dish with a mouth watering portion of a medium rare filet mignon. The chicken steak was good too. The portions are huge which led to our server being concerned about whether we liked our food or not since we couldn't finish most of our food due to the sheer portion size. We finished with an apple pie which was just right. Overall a good place to hangout and I guess it would be packed in the evenings.

Quality of the food has dropped down drastically..ordered for chateaubriand steak and supreme steak. The steak was so cold and not hot at all as if served from the fridge. We all love hot food and steak specially we would love it if it’s hot. Thoroughly disappointed with the quality . Also the price of the food is not value for money !

Came for the first time here, the ambiance is okay, food was good. The rib eye steak has too much fat half of the steak was inedible, I felt nauseous. The burgers and the lasagna in particular was really good.<br/><br/>But I don't think I'll be coming back here anytime soon.<br/>

I had been to this lovely restaurant with my partner in the month of February.We had tried fried calamari and meat balls for starters...The calamari was outstanding and the meat balls too were full of flavours.For main course we ordered, burger and old school steak..loved the steak.For drinks we ordered a passion fruit and kiwi mojito...both the drinks were refreshing..apple pie was our dessert..The ambience was soothing with dim lights and candles..I'd say it's perfect for a quiet romantic date..The staff is very courteous and friendly..would definitely be back...

Ok so I visited this place with a lot of expectations. And it was disappointing through and through. The chicken steak was horrible. The food that was served was not fresh. And the rice that they served along with the steak smelled like it was stored in a dirty stinky firdge for a long time. I would never go back to this place and neither recommend anyone. The place looks good but that's about it.

Pretty good steakhouse. I had the Filet Mignon, medium cooked. Not the best steak I have had in Bangalore, but quite good. For dessert I had cheesecake, which was okay, but not noteworthy. Service was kind of indifferent though.

Do note that pork is not served and wine is the only alcoholic beverage.<br/><br/>The place has an indoor sitting and a covered outdoor one. Non airconditioned which is not a problem in non summer months.<br/><br/>Place is neat and clean. Staff are efficient though could be a bit friendlier. A smile does not cost anything.<br/><br/>Parking could be an issue. They did not have a valet service on Sunday I could find parking. I dont know how it would be on a working day or weekend

This is hands down my favourite steakhouse in bangalore! The interior is a perfect setting, with well lit glass ceilings. <br/>So they have a reasonable wine menu, ended up ordering a bottle cause it turned out cheaper than per glass. <br/>Coming to the food, we ordered a T-bone with mushroom sauce and a filet mignon with house bbq sauce. <br/>So first you choose your cut, then you choose your sauce, then how you want it cooked. We went with medium rare and medium. Which was on point! The juices from the meat were dripping! <br/>I usually always end with apple pie after a steak, but the apple pie was average! Prefer the apple pie at the only place!<br/>

Steaks are served the way it is supposed to be. Ambience will take you right into Paris. If a dessert person then do try there creme brulee.

A contemporary styled restaurant with a calm and serene ambiance. Their steaks feel very fresh and tender to the mouth. And have loved their desserts.

The place is pretty and quiet, so good for a family lunch. The food is tasty and the portions good. Can work a little on the staff alertness.

WORST SERVICE EVER , not even one star service . After we sat at a tablet no one came to serve us or give the menu card for over 15 mins after being seated. we ordered with special instructions they absolutely ignored the instructions ! We informed the instructions were not followed, they cleared the plate and never bothered to ask if we want to order anything else . It’s useless calling out for serve coz they simply ignore . DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE unless you have the patience of a monk. and the food is not that great so yu might as well go to any other other steak place or The only place restaurant in Museum road

Perfect to set the evening with great ambience. I tried their mocktails which were really delicious. I haven’t tasted the wine though. Next time may be. The steak was nicely cooked just how I asked. It had a great taste. And the cherry on top was the dessert that I ordered. It was hot, melting, yummy and everything. I would definitely love to go there again.

Excellent restaurant for meat lovers.<br/><br/>Had the Steakhouse BBQ Beer Burger, and Baby Lamb Chops.<br/><br/>I expected the burger to be full of flavour, and it lived up to my expectation. It was juicy, and tender. One or two bites felt that it could've been more cooked better. But the real star of the show were the Lamb Chops.<br/><br/>Those were the best thing I dug my teeth into. Till date. Well cooked. Juicy. Full of flavour. Lip smacking. Heck, it was so good I don't words to describe it.

I couldn't 'steak' my eyes off of the delicious tenderloin.<br/><br/>Beef lovers at Bangalore would be delighted to know that Portland serves 12 types of steak from rare to well done. And if you're not into beef, you can most definitely check out their steak options in chicken, lamb or fish.<br/><br/>I tried the Supreme Streak (Well Done) & the Grilled Lamb Steak. Both were cooked tender & were delicious to the core.

I know many people have liked or for that matter loved this steakhouse, but not me. It's a little pricey and nothing really great! The place is super dark with faint lights!<br/>Please don't order anything chicken there because it WILL NOT BE WORTH IT.<br/>The beef steaks were still better, but I have no clue about this overexcited hype pertaining to this place.

Searching for the best beef steaks in the town? Portland it is. And the best time to visit this place is during Thanksgiving because they include full turkey roast as well in their menu during that time. Service and Ambience is premium. I loved the place & ambience .

I have been meaning to write about this place, but held on to it so I can check the other places in town first, so here goes... The place look awesome not at all the rustic flare you would expect for a steak house. Since I was there for only one reason went straight ahead and asked for their biggest steak. It was cooked perfectly and the meat was a good grade meat. The presentation was done perfectly. If you are a meat lover, then do not miss out on this place. The quantity might fell little less for the price you are paying, but trust me the food taste makes up for it.

Very disappointed with the quality of steaks, grumpy looking stewards. Left the place taking home the chewy bull cud for my dogs. Will never return to this place. Adios!

I've visited this place thrice, all for my love for food and ghost chilli, a mythically spicy chilli. I would give this place 5 out of 5 stars because the food is phenomenal, especially the steak. However, I've only given 3 stars because yesterday I realised the service was pathetic. It's just one step removed from a self service restaurant, because after the waiters leave the food on your table, apparently their job is done. So you're left to cut portions and serve the food yourselves and also, to fill your glasses yourselves. The pricing is a bit on the higher side, but completely worth the price, the water bottle however is not. This was the first time I'd seen a restaurant in a "boutique" hotel, charge a hundred bucks for a bottle of water. Everything else is fair game, but the price of water bottles have been increased five times as much. Great food, wide variety of dishes, perfectly cooked meals, and hygienic food that doesn't upset your stomach are the good points. Lazy service is why two stars are down, call it a self service restaurant maybe?

Alright wanted to try some steak and since all my older favourites had started disappointing me I was in search of a new place and I found this place, the ambience is pretty peaceful and it's perfectly situated in kinda silent locality.<br/>We ordered some steak and cheesy fries,<br/>With those pictures you can surely see the cheese was on point but sadly the fries were a disappointment, the steak was tasty but I feel they can increase a Lil In the quantity.<br/>It was a Friday afternoon, restaurant wasn't packed and the staff was I guess less or something coz we did have to wait for a while but not really long. Its surely is a Lil heavy on the pocket so foodies who tend to eat a Lil more than the average human being please have a big pocket to shell out some bounties here.<br/><br/>Found this place good. I wanted to rate a 3.5 but zomato has removed that option so I'd go for a 4.

We went there for a steak and lamb chops! They were both amazing!! The ambiance can be improved looks a little old and the nachos can be improved... but then the place is known for their steaks and they are unbeatable! Best in Bangalore without any competition.

Very cozy environment, good food and nice service. I would this is my favourite steak house in Bangalore with magnificent tomahawk and potterhouse steak with smokehouse bbq sauce. The only bad experience we had during our dinner is with this waiter. Basic manner, if he didn’t purposely put down the bottle harshly then a simple sorry will be sufficient. But the opposite is happened, he just walked away without any guilt. This wonderful dine place but with such bad attitude of your waiter- you’re gonna loose your customers. Otherwise, the food here are all good!

The best steak in town you’ll ever have . Now they really do know how to serve a steak . Every other place douses it with sauces and makes it so heavy on the palate. But this place gets it really right . And the best part : I went there once for lunch and I ordered a medium well steak. But being a t bone steak it got well done . I had a bite or two and it was really not working for me as it was really hard to chew. The manager comes and changes my whole dish! I mean cmon where do you find this kind of heart felt service in Bangalore anymore ?? Hands down the best steak place to go to and the best customer service ! May you guys thrive 🎉😊

This is by far, one of the best steakhouses in the city. It is very rare to find a steakhouse here that cooks every meat to the precision you demand. You can choose the rareness of the meat, as well as choose from an array of sauces to go with your steak. <br/>The setting of the restaurant adds brownie points to the whole experience. Moreover, the staff their is courteous and quick on their feet.

Love their steak! It's to die for! Pricey but worth it. The ambience is wonderful for a nice evening with anyone! It's such a beautiful relaxing atmosphere. Service is good as well.

Wonderful place to hang out. We ordered crispy fried prawns, baby lamb chops and tempura calamari as starters. They were delicious and each one was accompanied with an interesting sauce. For mains we ordered steaks i.e. supreme with mushroom sauce and fillet mignon with bearnaise sauce along with Moroccan spiced grilled chicken. Though they are served with mashed potatoes and veggies, we ordered potato wedges and creamed spinach as sides. For desserts we chose their famous apple pie and creme brûlée. Each order was delicious, well made and well presented. Staff were courteous and the Ambience was pleasant. A must visit place for food lovers!

I had been to your place today afternoon and it was quite hot. But being Monday, the restaurant was almost fully empty. So me and my wife sat inside under a fan, as there was no air conditioning. But to our surprise, we were not allowed to sit and was moved to another place which was very very hot with direct sunlight. We complained but all in vain. Alas, we had to leave and the manager simply nodded and bid us goodbye. We are not new to the city and had been to portland many a times. But never received such harsh treatment. Well we are extremely disheartened today.. And of course, would never want to be there again..

It's probably because people around me have been praising about these steaks and that I feel I had higher expection. <br/><br/>The fish steak was okayish. I have had better. The lamb steak was actually better. <br/><br/>Staff is actually very nice. Polite and gave us a great service.<br/><br/>Our over all the experience was just fine. Ambiance was nice and silent.<br/><br/>Will definitely try this place again. But till the 3 ⭐️

Best place for steak lovers, My favourite is their Tomahawk and T-Bone. The quality of meat is good..but they have their off days, where once my T-Bone was just filled with fat and the meat was very chewy, unlike their usual stuff. <br/><br/>Also try their chicken wings, it’s off the hook! Staff is very polite and helpful, but speed of the orders can improve a bit. <br/><br/>Spice lovers should try their ghost chilli sauce!! It will set your inners on fire! <br/><br/>Overall a great place with good food!

A fine place to have a steak, with a good ambiance, and knowledgeable service staff. I had ordered the rib eye steak, which came out with proper doneness, and quite decent accompaniments.

Been hearing a lot about Portland and I had this perfect image cooked up in my mind.. however I was a little disappointed the steak which I ordered was not the best meat.. it's was a little chewy and that was disappointing.. but the taste was good. Same thing with the pasta.. nothing exceptional. The tempura calamari was good although all of it were stuck to one another and nothing special about it either.<br/><br/>Also, in this scorching heat, wish they had air-conditioning.. service was good. Helpful & polite staff!

Portland has a more diverse menu than other steakhouses in Bangalore. The steaks are excellent albeit a bit more expensive than peers. Tried a veg starter (onion rings), which was excellent, and a veg pizza (Mediterranean), which was disappointing. Overall it's a much better option for mixed veg-non veg groups.<br/><br/>Note that the place is not air conditioned. Service is good.

Great food, good service. Meats are done the way you ask. Good for family, can get crowded on the weekends, otherwise staff is friendly and overall a job well done.

One of the best steaks in town. Flavourful, adequate, finger licking, one word... awesome. I tried the t-bone and squid tempura, both were awesome, one should avoid supreme if not a big fan of fatty portions. Rib eye is also worth mentioning. Given 4stars for the uncourteous behaviour of staffs.

The best place to enjoy the yummiest of steaks. The lamb steak is simply Yum. The portion is pretty good for one person. The ambience of the place is equally nice which makes you feel like an apt place to spend time with family on a weekend. The prices are a bit on the higher side but the taste covers up for it.

Lousy steak... Asked for a sirloin steak, medium rare, got a piece of meat that wasn't sirloin and wasn't medium rare... I wonder if these guys are really serious about their business.

Food is really good in this place. You should try aglio-e-olio chicken, garlic bread and soup. Nice and calm ambience with good music. Manager and staff are also good in nature and provide excellent fast service<br/><br/>

We decided to head to Portland steak house after hearing about the quality to their steaks. Needless to say, if disappointment is what you are looking for, this is the place for you to be. The medium steak was down right raw, the side of veggies that came along tasted like they hadn't been washed properly ( *cough cough* dirt) and the atmosphere was less than appealing. For a place that claims to be a steak house, the only think they serve well are excuses. Never going back again. Word to the managers of the place, do not try to mock the intelligence of your customers on how their food should be.
