This place will not make you regret if you have craving for the north Indian taste, as the calm ambience makes it a perfect place to enjoy the delicious food along with your personal space. It is a perfect place to go with family and friends. We tried the buffet here which had many varieties of starters and dishes. They started with serving the starters made of #Paneer, #corn, #fruits, #veg. etc. After these heavy starters, comes the food which was really lip-smacking and mouth-watering which includes the diversity of taste in many different dishes like #pulav, #sweets, #dal-makhni and lots more which will leave an everlasting impression on your mind. This is a little bit costly place but its worth it.

What was earlier Punjab Grill in Koramangala is now Punjab Bistro, with a brand new management and an upscaled menu and place. The husband and I visited yesterday, to check it out, and we were amply rewarded. Here's a quick look at all that we sampled at Punjab Bistro: Shikanjivi: We simply adored this Punjabi-style lemonade, which was just perfect. The tanginess, saltiness and sweetness was just right, the drink super refreshing and brilliant. Aam Panna: The aam panna, a drink made with raw mangoes, was good, but not brilliant. It sort of paled in comparison to that brilliant Shikanjivi we had earlier. Mast Guava: This drink, made with guava juice, spiced mildly, was absolutely awesome. It was a beautiful medley of flavours, very well made. Dahi Ke Kebab: I love dahi ke kebab, but sadly, this one failed to please. It was too soft, too sweet, not the crispy kebabs with a soft, delicately spiced interior that we love. The berry sauce these kebabs were served with was just lovely, though. Spinach Corn Quesadilla: The quesadillas were beautiful in taste, the filling a mix of delicious spinach and good-quality cheese. This comes highly recommended! Chilgoza Paneer: This is another starter we loved to bits - soft, soft, soft cottage cheese stuffed with a mix of toasted pine nuts, dill leaves and cheese, marinated and grilled to perfection. It was so very well done, an absolute pleasure to eat. Quite a unique thing to find on a restaurant menu, too! Highly recommended! Tikki Chole: Yet another starter that we adored! The aloo tikkis were perfectly done, served Delhi-style with assorted chutneys and fine sev. The taste was on spot, exactly what you would find on the streets of Old Delhi. Brilliant! Firangi Subzi: For main course, one of the dishes we opted for was Firangi Subzi, a curry made with English vegetables like zucchini, bell peppers and baby corn, cooked in a cheesy gravy. This was very well made too, and tasted finger-lickingly delicious! Dal Moradabadi: I loved, loved, loved this dish, a Moradabadi special made with split moong dal, garnished with tamarind chutney, coriander chutney, finely chopped onions and tomatoes and fried moong dal. It was an absolute delight! Oh, I could polish off a bowlful of this dal all on its own! Don't miss this dish at Punjab Bistro, I tell you! Paneer Makhani: The Paneer Makhani, succulent pieces of cottage cheese cooked in a creamy orange gravy, was good, but it didn't quite measure up to the high expectations created by the Firangi Subzi and the Dal Moradabadi. Chur Chur Paratha: We ordered some Chur Chur Paratha to go with the sabzis, a pillow-soft paratha with a delicate cheese and potato stuffing. Had piping hot, it was heavenly! Spring Onion Kulcha: The kulcha came with a beautiful cheese-and-spring onion stuffing, soft as can be. It was absolutely delish! The Great Indian Dessert: This one was stunning, as much in looks as in taste and range of textures. Rose- and paan-flavoured kulfi, served on a bed of basil seeds soaked in Roohafza, served with crumbled sohan papdi and motichoor laddoo, slivers of Karachi halwa, sprinkled with aam ras and rose syrup - quite interesting, right? I loved how the different tastes and textures melded together to create one lovely, delectable whole. Do try this out whenever you are in Punjab Bistro! Highly recommended! Bistro Special Mille Feuille: This mille feuille, layered with perfectly soaked gulab jamun pieces, strawberries and cream was quite the beauty! It tasted good, though it is not something that we would order again. The service staff was friendly, warm and courteous, the ambience classy, bright and welcoming. Valet parking is available. Punjab Bistro has a good selection of dishes for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, but I wish there could be more vegetarian options in the Soups and Rice Dishes sections. Prices here are on the higher side. A meal for two would cost INR 1500-1800. We will definitely be visiting Punjab Bistro again, to try out more of the delectable food on their menu!

It is a very good place to have Punjabi food. But it is quite expensive. The food is served little slow and drinks are really good. The quantity is so high that sometimes it is overly ordered. So it is better you order your items slowly and with good watch. The regular water is good to be had. The restrooms are also well maintained and good to be used.

An excellent place to sample good Indian cuisine. I went here to sample the Haleem for the Shaan e Haleem festival here. The chefs did a great job with the 7 versions of Haleem they created. Loved the duck Haleem and the turkey and sea food Haleem too. I'm guessing the rest of their food is a amazing as the Haleem tasted. The decor etc is typical fine dine and the service here is great. Loved the place.

One of the best North Indian cuisine restaurants in Bangalore. They have an elaborate food menu & a fairly big drinks menu too. We ordered a margarita & a mojito & we liked the taste of both but I wasn't very impressed with the presentation. The food was absolutely delectable. I wish they had given me some gud & ghee along with the sarso ka saag that I had ordered but the veggie tasted so damn good. I was told that the laal maas ghosht was equally good too. We ordered a couple of starters, stuffed mushroom & dahi ke kebab & both were really tasty. We had the phirni with rabdi for desserts & it was a tad too sweet for my taste but the phirni was quit crunchy, as we all love. It also had a generous layer of pistachios. Giving it four stars coz I expected a little fancier cocktail presentation & some gud cum ghee with the veggie.

Punjab Bistro AKA House of Troy. Loved the experience. Highlights were variety food, simplistic ambience and awesome staffs. We enjoyed the food. We booked the table via Zomato and got decent discount while paying the bill thru Zomato. We were so much into food that we couldn't take many pictures. However, I highly recommend Tandoori Prawns,Chicken and Salmon 👌.

This is basically punjabi grill. This has to be changed as punjabi bistro. I had come actually looking at garden. Garden is not their. Food is really good and tasty. Was expecting bit more about hospitality. But okay staff are good. Quality food best ambience and people friendly staff.

Great food but the service is not prompt. Friendly staff though. Try the chicken dishes and you won't be disappointed. Great for team lunches and dinners. Open throughout the day. Right next to Forum Mall. Sorry could post food pics, it was so delicious I had to dig in!

Got an opportunity to taste some of the Signature Dishes at Punjab Grill. The food was simply amazing. The meat tender well marinated and mildly spices to title your taste buds. I really loved the Chicken and the Dahi ke Kebab and the Beetroot Peanut Tikki were lovely too. Actually I am at a loss of words to describe the food as the it was simply amazing. The icing on the cake was the Gulab Jamoon. Chef Prashant, thanks for the lovely food. Worth a visit definitely Fantastic food, great ambience, good service. Little bit expensive. Try non veg dishes and cocktails. Till now i visited 7 time so u can what it means

Great place good location, nice setting and ambience. The starter grill dishes are very tasty and portions are large, ask to moderate spice if you so desire. The veg tandoor platter is not as tasty as the meat variant. The food is great, this is not a cheap restaurant, be prepared to spend a few shillings here.

Nice place for team lunch or dinner. Starters are good. Pan shot at end were refreshing. Ambiance is good. It's now know as Punjab bistro. According to the signs they have now.

The food was psumptious ..and ambience all good and nice .. the drink menu was huge and overall everything was perfect .. a little bit of expensive but well .. its a fine dine worth of that splurge

Love it here. Same great food as always. The Chefs and Staff members are the same as before. For those who have no idea what I'm talking about. This place used to be called Punjab Grill, Kormangala. But a staff member said that the owner of this restaurant had standards (excellent standards) different than the other Punjab Grill restaurants. So they didn't want to associate their name with Punjab Grill. He also said that the restaurant wasn't getting any support from the Company Punjab Grill as this restaurant was a frachise. Some dish quantities have changed. The biryani this time serves for two (Half the previous cost). This was the only change we noticed. The rest of the dishes had their usual gigantic quantities. My favorites: Murgh Makhni, Chicken Dum Biryani, Makki Ki Roti. Hands down the best restaurant in Bangalore period.

Not liked much but one time you can visit. We had lunch buffet and it was quite ok. All starters were dull and not like I will say wow. I liked main course and some of the sweet dishes.

Ambience is good,service is good.The food was top notch and the portion sizes are enormous. -happy customer who loves good food

Visited today ( Sunday -8th Mar) for lunch. We were a family of four + 1yr old baby. Staff were friendly enough and got us our table which we had pre-booked on Zomato. Went for Sunday brunch option..was given 5 non- veg starters on table and rest from buffet spread. Everything was fine...food was good...just not that great...I mean somehow it didn't seem to match the total bill of almost 3500₹. Our host Dayananda was pretty decent. He seemed like the only guy running around there. Definitely understaffed for a full restaurant. Cocktails had very limited liquor. Food taste was good.. just not awesome. I had visited some months back for alacarte...not sure there was the Greek restaurant beside it. Then the food seemed so much better. Anyway...might come back next time ..probably not for buffet though

Ordered food through Dunzo. Pathetic to the core. Too expensive also. Would never order/visit this place. Suggest nobody to visit. Absolutely not worth the money

The food is lil over priced. Taste is good. The ambience is not so great. Not so responsible staff. They included an item in the bill worth Rs 725 which we didn't order. Though they removed it later, its advised to check your bill before paying it.

I went to punjab bistro with my family..food was excellent n delicious..the food was suggested by chef n the dishes wer - murgh makhani , tandoori brocali , dal makhani, garlic naan , chur chur paratha, nali ka sorba , chatpata chicken, ghee rice ..the food was really yummy n we are planning to re visit again in Christmas.. n even pan short was really good.. thanks to Chef Ravi Rawat..

This was our first visit to Punjab Bistro. Few years ago there used to be a restaurant called Punjab Grill by Jigs Kalra and we had been to that restaurant about 8 yrs ago. <br/><br/>Punjab Bistro is a nice place to dine out with family and friends. Food quality, taste was fine and quantity was somewhat acceptable.  <br/><br/>Sad to note that such a big restaurant with liquor facility doesn't have Zomato Gold (1+1 or 2+2 offer) However, when we asked about Zomato Gold, the F&B manager offered 1+1 offer on the house for cocktails.<br/><br/>Suggestion:  Please try to reduce the price of food menu items. Prices of below mentioned items especially main course items seem to be bit over charged.  Not that we cannot afford it. We have been to other good happening fine dining restaurants where food menu has moderate prices. <br/><br/>Examples:<br/>Butter Naan/ Butter Kulcha- Rs. 125 per order.<br/>Masala Papad: Rs 290 for 2 plates (145 per plate) other places its around Rs 70-80.<br/>1 order of Tarkari Veg Biryani -Rs 425.<br/>1 order of Paneer Makhani- Rs 425.<br/>2 orders of Sarson Da Saag - Rs 850 (Rs 425 per order)<br/>2 orders of Veg Kurkuri- Rs 790.<br/>2 orders of Bhutteyan De Kebab- Rs 750.<br/>2 orders- Tikki Chole- Rs 700.<br/><br/>At the end of our meal we received complimentary Pan flavored shot in Tequila glass. Staff were very courteous right from the time we entered the restaurant. Overall it was a pleasant experience & we would definitely love to visit this place again.

The service was really slow! <br/>And the dum biryani didn’t have any dum flavour in it. It was just made on the tava. <br/>But the rest of the food was we ordered was tasty.

I went to this place panjab bristo with my friends and loved the ambiance. I ordered the pan fry fish , nalli nihari and roti . Overall the food was great. The fried fish was really different and good. service was excellent The quantity also have been better then other. Would definitely visit again

A pretty small restaurant, but the food tasted pretty good. We had tomato soup, malai kofta, garlic naan and ghee rice. All the items tasted great. Was a little disappointed with the service and the seating. We were seated next to some very loud people, there were also kids running around making a racket.

A decent fine dining with family - We ordered basic veg starter mushroom and paneer tikka which was not upto mark . Their house speciality chur chur paratha is must try . And yes ! Bon Apetite with a Pan Flavoured dessert at the end 😉😉

I went to this place on a Wednesday for dinner with my friends. Thr ambiance is simple and elegant and the staff is courteous. We had an awesome time here. Had starters galore and dessert but we enjoyed the best Punjabi food and the finished with what this restaurant is famous for the pan shot!

The ambience is very basic, maybe because renovation is underway. However, the food is still up to the mark. We had the sunday buffet and the starters stole the show!

Punjab bistro is situated on the main road at the corner opposite to forum mall... they do have a very good ambiance and easy to reach location... if you are not from north or if you are not a punjabi you may like the food with full of spices and those south Indian style green leafs in food but i did not at all like the food. we ordered some paneer dish and it was very bad... onions ware not properly friend and the amritsari kulcha was made of maida( kulca is always aata or a mixture and not the only maida)

Didn’t get my food after waiting for it for more than an hour. Placed an order through Zomato. After not receiving the food for a while, I called up the restaurant and they told me that the delivery boy had left. I didn’t receive my order, and the restaurant was unresponsive. Even though I like the food from this restaurant, I will never place an order again because of the unreliable service.

Have visited this place a couple of times.Spacious place, minimal decor adds to the dining experience. Staff is so humble and polite. It's an awesome place for fine dining. Prices are on the higher side but the quality and quantity will make it worth the money.  While going, i would recommend to book a table in advance. If you are a non vegetarian or a vegetarian , the menu has enough to offer for you all.
