Review Banjara Melting Pot - Bengaluru

Ritali Vlogs
Such a high class dine experience. Interior was quite amazing. They serves alcohol as well. Tried 3 of chicken dishes and 2 mutton n 2 prawn dishes. All the chicken n prawn dishes was taste delicious. But mutton was not up to the mark. In desert kulfi was a nice option. Overall nice place n food but bit high in cost.

The best North Indian food I've had in a long time. You could literally taste the quality in the food. The paneer was perfect and we ordered the banjara special as the curry. It was different and good. Special mention to the bell pepper soup. It was the best part of the meal. The place is clean and hygienic. However, it does burn a hole in your pocket.

Place is fancy ... Decent food nothing extra ordinary ... You have good drinking options.

Just perfect place., From ambience to food to great customer service ! Definitely a 10 star. Lil bit on the extensive side though., Meal for two could cost 2k to 3k! However the price is definitely overcome by there customer delight, great food.. How quickly they get the food you ordered. , option to even customize your dishes, on selected items. A must visit... Especially for couples !

This place is in the basement of a building in the busy Cunningham road. Parking: At first sight, it's hard to fathom that this place would have parking, but you'd be pleasantly surprised to know that it does. If you're facing the entrance of the building, the entrance to the parking is on the left of the building. Ambience: It's a beautiful fine-dining restaurant with muted lighting and spacious tables. However, the tables are pretty close together and you can overhear your neighbouring tables. Which only means that they can hear you too. Service: The staff is courteous and forthcoming with recommendations. But when it was time for taking the order or giving the bill, our server interacted with only the man on the table. This irked me a lot! Food: All the food tasted great. Everything was warm and just the way the food was presented was appetising! Price: It was slightly on the pricier side. But you're not only paying for the food in a place like this, you're even paying for the ambience and service. The two of us paid about 3k for two starters, main course and wine.

Went on team lunch , Quit place with beautiful well lit ambience.<br/>The Staff served well , the food was tasty but the spread could have been better .<br/>Being a person with sweet tooth was expecting good desserts.<br/>But good deal in the reasonable budget .<br/>

Tucked away in one of the many Prestige Buildings on Cunnigham Road, it was pure hunger that drove me to try out the food at this restaurant. With not many options around, friend and I had zeroed in on Banjara. <br/><br/>There is nothing classy about the ambience and I didn't like the lighting. We had ordered chicken biryani (465/-) and Makhani-chicken (425/-). The biryani was North Indian style and I liked it. The chicken was delicious too. But the price just didn't make up for the quantity. The food is ridiculously overpriced and the biryani portion served is lesser than what one person would normally eat. <br/><br/>The service isn't great and with taxes levied at five per cent a meal for two would cost between 1000-1500/-. Definitely, worth a miss. <br/><br/>Rating -2/5

It was our Staff Get together and our expectations were bit high for the service anyway the food taste was good. If we see the Service standard food was bit overpriced. <br/><br/>Positive :- Starters were mouthwatering as we ordered Gobhi Manchurian and Chilly Paneer which we really enjoyed. <br/>Main Course we order Masala Mushroom, Koftas, Banjara Special Veg and Dal Khichdi and Rotis, Out of Which Mushroom Masala and Khichdi were Delicious and rest of things were also Good and taste wise OK. <br/><br/>Negative :- Paper Napkins was not provided asked thrice when we finish our food again we have to ask and finally it was provided. When we started eating we ordered Water Bottle which was not provided at all. Service was super slow they were taking lot of time to Deliver main course food. <br/><br/>Guys Please keep your service up to the mark you have excellent Chefs out there who all are making delicious food don't ruin there hard work. <br/><br/>#anilthakurfoodpost<br/><br/>

Food experience was mixed - while the fish starter was good, chicken biryani wasn't. Felt like it's not worth the hype and just about average.

Food - 5<br/>Staff -5<br/>Ambience - 5<br/>A fine dine restaurant which is perfect for family dinner.<br/>We ordered Chilli Basil Mushroom and Manchow Soup. Both tasted awesome but i felt the basil flavour was less but otherwise both were good.<br/>Bhanno Kebab was also good and i felt it was alike to Chicken Tikka filled with palak and methi.<br/>For main course we ordered Prawn Ghee Roast and Mutton Rogan Josh with Kulcha.<br/>These main course were just brilliant in their taste.<br/>Fir dessert we had Kulfi and Gulab Jamun which was excellent.<br/>Overall and awesome experience<br/>

Not at all good for Vegetarians; Very fewer options for Veg, not quality has been degraded. Not a good option to have for buffets. Its only al about Pannir and Allu

Management has changed and its not like what it used to be. Taste is bad . And staff is rude....<br/>Got the wrong dishes.<br/>Slow service.<br/>Did not have provision for hot water.

Buffet had good spread .<br/>Need dosa with curry was impeccable<br/>Starters are good...<br/>Ambience is mediocre..<br/>Service is decent...<br/>Desserts could have been little better.<br/>Over all.. it would be 3.5/5.. so had to show 3 stars..<br/>

The worst food in all aspects , from soups to starters to main course !! <br/>Not fit to be rated also <br/>We wer a group of 10 ppl & they didn’t even hv the courtesy of bothering wen v complain of the food !!

Extremely dissapointing experience at the restaurant. First, they refused to honor online deal coupons (screenshot attached). What was worse, was that the Manager on duty chose to ignore and avoided talking to us and walked away instead of helping to resolve the issue at hand. I tried to reach their MD who never picked my calls and has never responded on WhatsApp.<br/>Not only hungry, but both my wife and I returned thirsty as well back from the restaurant as they didn't even bother to serve us water!

Went this place on a weekend with my family. Such a nice calm place to have your food. Lemon coriander soup was really yummy. Chicken manchurian was also tasty. Only mutton dishes was not up to the mark. Don’t forget to try kulfi here in your dessert. Ambiance was so attractive. This place is bit expensive but worth the price. They also serves alcohol. Overall it was a nice experience.<br/>Food : 4.5*<br/>Ambiance n crowd: 4.5*<br/>Service: 4*

It was amazing experience visiting this place. We had our lunch here. With the fabulous food quality & taste , it is really worth appreciating. The staff was friendly too.<br/>Chicken Banjara style was awesome. Grill items like Chicken angarey & Tandoori prawns tastes heavenly.. Definitely a must visit place..

I just love this place just for grilled chicken. This place is really good for lunch at dinner.<br/>All of us enjoyed this place with variety of foods available with tasty food
VC
We reserved a table for on a weekday for lunch through Zomato. When we landed up, to our surprise, the restaurant had no intimation & there was no table held. The manager dismissed it simply by saying that they don't track online table reservations!<br/><br/>The restaurant was full & we got some make shift corner to settle in to & the fact they had a buffet meant that our table order took ages to arrive! What saved the day was that the food was delicious & both quality and quantity were great.<br/><br/>Probably a mistake to order ala carte!

Banjara melting pot they charge 665 Rs for non veg buffet they give just 3 non veg starter 2 chicken starter and 1 fish starter which i felt not justified for the price what they charge .. since other restaurants are giving prawns along with that atleast 5 starter they will provide ... even in main course and desert there is no much optional which is bit disappointing and even taste was not that good i don't recommend this restaurant...

Interiors of this hotel are pretty nice. Staff is corteous , helpful & polite full marks on hospitality. Calm & quite place.<br/>Coming to food it was ok nothing great i found in vegetrain . I ordered Roasted Bell paper soup which was OK , not so good not so bad. Captain suggested Banjara special veg in two gravys which i didnt found anything special was below average. Coming to the price Found it overpriced.

Awesome food , great ambience. Ordered kukkad tandoori ( starter ) , meat was cooked to perfection and was very flavourful. It was accompanied with pudina chatni . Chicken Banjara is mix of red and green gravy , which was wonderful as well. Chicken biryani was fragrant, lightly spiced , full of flavour. King size portion . Satisfied with all the dishes . <br/><br/>Ratings <br/>Food : 4 / 5<br/>Ambience :4 / 5<br/>Service : 4/5<br/>Hygiene & Packing : 4 / 5 <br/>

Visited this place for cousin's get-together on a Sunday noon for lunch. The ambience is simply superb with dim lights and light music playing in the background. Service is quick with attentive and humble staff.<br/><br/>We had chicken, mutton, fish, paneer and baby corn for starters. All the starters were perfect and worth trying. Mutton starter was too good. In main course we had roti and kulcha. Rotis were made of wheat. Palak koftha is definitely a must try. Chicken Biryani was also good. Gulab jamuns were awesome. Spicy guava mocktail is a must try.<br/><br/>This restaurant totally deserves a big thumbs up for its excellent food, ambience and service!<br/><br/>Food: 5/5<br/>Ambience: 5/5<br/>Service: 5/5

The buffet spread is good and the food was also excellent. Their starters are worth trying. Have been there multiple times for lunch from work.<br/>The ambience is also good. Overall good place to visit if you are around Cunningham Road.

The staff was polite from the very beginning. I ordered a sweet potato starter. I did not expect it to be amazing. But I was wrong! I ordered palak kofta as the side dish with rotis and a veg biryani. Everything tasted superb and had the correct amount of spice (not overly spicy like most Indian restaurants). Will definitely visit this place again

I have been here more than 5-6 times with my family. The food is really good and the waiters are very friendly. Service is very quick. You should try and reserve a table so you don't have to wait.

We had got the banjana chicken and paneer tikka which was extremely flavourful and it was also served with mint chutney! <br/>For main course we ordered the dal makhani and naan and a vegetable biryani..The dal makhani is a must try.<br/>The waiters were attentive and service overall was good. The restaurant well decorated. Overall a good meal.Expensive.But very good!

Very nice restaurant tucked away on Cunningham road. Food is tasty well presented. Ambiance is a bit formal but nice. <br/>Great cocktails and mock tails.<br/><br/>Try the North Indian selection which is very nice.

An ideal place for corporate lunch and dinner<br/><br/>We went here in a group of ten people for lunch in a buffet. <br/>Nice ambience and decent food. <br/>The desert was very nice.

One thing which I always like about Banjara in all its 4 branches in Bangalore is they make sure you step inside the restaurant in the right mood by creating such a wonderful ambience.<br/>Out of the four outlets quality in food is served best in Kormangala, followed by Cunningham road (this one) and kumara park and last is the airport road outlet.<br/>The food was decent with nice flavours. The paneer tikka was soft and had few flavours. The other veg starters were also good. Best dish was the Phulka which was very soft and fresh and nicely made. The sabzis were also tasty but lacked spice.<br/>Overall it was a good experience and it jas been one of our favourite restaurants for celebration of any occasion in family. They have non veg also. Must try if you stay close to any of these outlets and have not tried at all.

Service is too much slow. We were waiting for 10 minutes for every order. Variety is less as per price. Ambience is good. They should have increased speed

A fine dining restaurant!<br/><br/>For starters We had got the banjana chicken and paneer ikka which was really tasty and also well plated!<br/>For main course we ordered the dal makhani and naan and a vegetable biryani..which was really good tooo...Its a little pricy but worth it.

|| Gandhi Jayanti Special ||<br/><br/>2nd Oct being a public holiday we decided to utilize our time and visit Banjara Melting Pot. It was since long that I wanted to visit there but it being very far from my place this visit was on pending stage. So finally this weekday holiday gave us enough time to travel to other part of the city just to try our long awaited choice.<br/><br/>Ambience/Music: The ambience is just Woow !! Its a fine dining resturant and everything is so perfectly kept and decorated. There is slow music playing on the background. The lights are dim which gives a very soothing experience.<br/><br/>Staff/Service: The staff is also great in their service. The are prompt and quick and very humble.<br/><br/>Food: We decided to have Veg there, so we ordered Lasooni Makai Mewa Tikki in starter, Paneer Lababdar, Garlic Naan and Kuchla in Main Course and Gulab Jamuns in sweet dish. The tikka was the star of the show for me. I just loved it. Paneer was also nice. But I did not like the Naan and Kulcha much. It Could have been a bit better. Yet again the Jamuns were awesome. They were served hot and were mouth watering.<br/><br/>This was my first Fine Dining Experience and I totally loved this place. Though this place is a bit costly but its worth a try !!

Ate the buffet lunch yesterday and i must say it was a delightful dining experience. From the ambience to the service and the very tasty food.loved every bit of it.<br/><br/>Although the buffet spread is not very lavish every dish is well prepared and yummy.quality is top notch and taste second to none<br/><br/>The soup and starters are served on the table and main course is on buffet.the service is very attentive and courteous and the decor and ambience is very classy and cozy.its a gem of a restaurant which is a must visit if you really enjoy great indian cuisine.<br/><br/>Its a rare potent mix of excellent food, ambience and service all under one roof and the buffet is value for money.<br/><br/>Keep up the good work team Banjara!!!!!!!

Starting from reservation, vallet parking, paper napkins, drinking water, service, food quality...everything is JUST PATHETIC. Sad buffet spread and pricing is too steep for the the variety, taste and service. <br/>Very unorganized, extremely slow service. Worse part - variety of food and taste...absolutely nothing worth visiting this place.<br/>I would NEVER visit this place ever again! Not worth the time and money. It turned to be a spoilsport of our event.
Akshaya Ramya
The paneer ghee roast and neer dosa was amazing !!!! I mean best I have tasted till now !!! And coming to non veg the fish fingers were so well balanced with flavour inside !!!! And the chicken sambar was typical manglorean with right amount of flavours !!! Must try these

Ambiance: 4<br/>Food: 2<br/>Service: 3<br/>Value for money: 2.5<br/><br/>Ambiance: This place has a great ambiance having great sense of lighting with some soothing music all around. It's spacious enough for both couples as well as groups. We have gone here for buffet as team lunch having around 8-9 people. I am not sure about dedicated vehicle parking space for the customers.<br/><br/>Food: We had buffet at this place and I am still regretting as WHY DID WE CHOOSE this place for buffet. Literally everything was lack of some taste. This place doesn't have variety also. In veg starters they had only 3 items (Aloo Tikki, Paneer Tikka and Mixed Veg (Kind of like Honey chilli potatoes)), soup was also not that great. Main course was nothing like "MAIN COURSE", it's irony to call it as main course. Main course had Paneer (Something), Daal makhani, Aloo Gobi (It had giantly chopped Aloo and Gobi -  Had lack of salt), Schezwan manchurian, Biryani. Desserts section had a cake piece, gulab jamun (One of the best I have had in this town) , Ice Cream (With chocolate syrup) -  That's it in dessert :(<br/><br/>Service: This part could have been better. They were serving super slow.<br/><br/>VALUE FOR MONEY: 2.5 <br/>NOTE: Not worth for buffet, but you can try other stuffs as well. <br/>Note to Management: Please include some more dishes and desserts in the buffet menu :)

Absoulte treat!! Regretting myself for not tasting nonveg starters... taste quality ambiance literally perfect... starting wit soup which was perfectly cooked and so was the veg platter wit awesome taste... must visit if u want to taste some quality food...

I visit Bangalore 10 times a year for business. I am a big fan of coastal food. I was recommended this outlet by friend as I was staying close by. The restaurant has a great arrival experience. Welcoming staff. The Spicy Gava cocktail is super. We had Kebabs, Fish, Prawns Ghee roar, Chicken Gassi and Neer Dosa. Food was just superb. A must visit restaurant for Costal food lovers. Only the Calamari needs improvement.
Prema Ram
delicious food<br/>
Devashish Marwah
The restaurant offers a buffet option as well and that’s what we went for. The buffet was decently priced at around 700AI (non-veg). It included a portion if the soup,3 starters and main course along with ice-cream. <br/>I would say the non-veg starters were good however, the vegetarian main course was better. The butter chicken was decent but the mutton wasn’t cooked to the full.<br/>Ice cream went well with the moong dal halwa.
Mainak Nandi
Been there once and dinning experience was marvellous, their decor and service staffs are good. Food is also mouth watering. Price on a higher side but worthy. A must try place.

If you like hair in your food, this is the place to visit. We went here on a busy weekday and ordered the chicken gheeroast and the masala fish fry. While cutting the fish, there was a strand of hair in the fish which is when we called the manager and sent the food back. In less than five mnts, a couple sitting in the table next to us complained of hair in their food. We then called the manager again and asked him to ensure that the food that comes out of the kitchen is clean, to which he responded very arrogantly saying that the hair could have fallen when the food was placed on our table. Now, we were ok to send the food back until this comment - in a hospitality industry it is very essential that the manager manages a place decently. This person was rude and obnoxious and literally everyone at the restaurant were complaining on the hygiene levels. There was no apology from his end and sadly you’ve lost many customers due to your arrogance. The Banjara group should think about replacing their manager instantly. P.S we don’t have a picture of the fish because the manager swiftly came and took away the plate.

Courteous staff. Fast service and good food. We went in group of 10 on weekday to celebrate my wedding anniversary. We had both veg and non-vegetarian in the group. Tried many dishes. I being vegetarian ordered veg platter which was really good. In main course ordered a methi curry on staff recommendations. It was very great and goes well with Kerala parotha and veg biryani.<br/><br/>Only cons: Pricey
Suvarna Geetha- Food Blogger
One of the expensive see food place in Bangalore. The only good about this place is ambience. All dishes are over priced. Service is pathetic and needs quite a lot of improvement. Food quality is not up to the mark .

Couple of days back me and my brothers went to Banjara melting pot for dinner. It's one the best place to have classy dinners. The decor of the place is seriously commendable. <br/><br/>Once we took our seats, going through the menu, we ordered few drinks and then came the starters. The chicken ghee roast was the best if you ask me. The two spiced Mutton gravy was informed the best curry I had ever. Dessert we tried Horlicks barfi and gajar ka halwa. <br/><br/>Definitely a place to take your date or family for some quite dinner.
Vandana
It has great aura that brings us a calm mood. Malibu Choco brownie factory dessert, chicken biryani and kukkad tandoori is the good. A lil over priced as it as star restaurant.<br/>Min cost for two- Rs.2000
Lalit Kumar
The food was good, but the variety of food is less. There was just one chat given, and just 3 non-veg starters etc. It doesn't match up to buffets like Chetney Chang/ Buff Buffet Buff where there is a wide variety of dishes provided.
Kelsang Wngmo Bhutia
The restaurant has very good ambience. Prawn ghee roast here is absolutely delicious. Must try. Service is excellent . Fish masala fry was good but it had coconut oil. The salad here is extremely fresh. They serve cheeselings as nibbles for liquor. I would give a 3.2/5
Chandan Nagaraja
Good quality food especially starters. All starters are carefully cooked and blended to give the subtleness of tastiness.Try Chicken Tikka's, its finger licking good. We have ordered neer dose and chicken curry for main course. It tasted good and this is one of the few places to have very tasteful mangalore style cuisines. I have also tried Mutton Biryani but Biryani taste is just average. When chicken starters are so good, your expectation of Biryani would be automatically high but Biryani has failed to impress me. Masalas are not blended properly and pieces was not properly cooked. <br/>All in all you can have quality time with you family and friends for dinner with decent ambience.
Shaheli Chaudhuri
Heard about the place allot so thought of trying. Surely, there were many sumptuous reasons which created a noise. Most of the starters were made to blow your mind. Staff were extremely humble. And well well, they (restaurant staff) were telling that the restaurant is gonna bring more surprises for food lovers like us. Must try place if u like to have some yummilicious Indian delicacies.
Abhijeet Dixit
Awesome service and courteous staff. Food quality was also good. Pretty satisfied with the service. Overall ambience is also good. We planned to be there but had to leave owing to the crowd. <br/>We felt AC was a bit too strong but didn't complain so can't say whether anything will be done for that.<br/>In the dessert there's only one eggless dish. So people who don't eat eggs be careful.<br/>Definitely a good place to be.<br/>Surely going again.
Anu Kumar Nair
Tried the weekday buffet. Spread was ok, price for veg and non veg is same. Makes no sense for a veggie since options are lesser. Post gst bills were not clear, in hurry so left the bill part

This is for owner info . Dear Sir today I visited your restaurant in cunningham road I paid bill of rs 1999<br/>I ordered char grilled fish it was too smelly not at all fresh and I ordered mutton boti e gulshan (I think ) it was not fresh very hard.<br/>And I ordered egg freid rice. it was not up to mark finally I mixed with pickle which was rotan I feel very sad and manager nagendra was busy eating with his freind without bothered and came with sorry and offering deserts and suppliers are jokers. Attention proprietors you will close two of your restaurants in bangalore if you believe these staffs.very very very disappointing dinner. Pickle was dead rat smell. Price charging like five star hotel food serving like footpath quality I suggest for all people never ever think of going this hotel. <br/>

I love everything about this place ! It's ambience , the food and the staff. <br/>The staff is an extremely warm and a welcoming bunch!!<br/>The food is simply delicious! The mushroom gulati, the daal Makhani Ans the paneer is a must try!

FROM salads to their main course, everything is done to perfection. I love their buffet too.<br/>Their fish curry is pure bliss. <br/>They really melt all your food cravings.
Ambica Sood
Had a very pleasant experience, the food, the service and the taste was perfect, (though the ambience is pretty 90s and they charge service charge at 10%)<br/>Paneer chilli is the must try starter in vegetarian as it was cooked to perfection with a hint of garlic and perfectly-soft paneer. <br/>They have very few options for veg-thai-main course. Only Thai curry and rice. <br/>Overall Definitely recommended if ur around this area and looking for a more silent calm place in the chaotic- Cunningham main road area ;)
Chandni Kukreja
Banjara is one of my family's favourite places for birthday dinners. I have a lot of fond memories of the place. It gives you good food, a nice selection of drinks, and privacy between tables. The ambiance is pleasant, and the waiters are helpful. We thoroughly enjoy the food too. Thank you Banjara, for always giving us a good time.<br/> <br/><br/>One of my favourite dishes is the Murgh dhaniya mirch pudina - it's different from the usual butter chicken fare we would order, and we enjoyed it thoroughly with neer dosas. :)

World's Worst service, <br/><br/>Best food<br/>Best ambience.<br/>Best Presentation.<br/>.<br/>The only worst part is, WORST SERVICE, U WILL FEEL LIKE CANCELING EVERYTHING..
Ganesh Prasad
In buffet, chicken and mutton dishes are not replenished quickly; like 6 of us were ready to start but hardly 4 to 5 pieces were there and deliberately they dont fill in; otherwise everything else is okay. Understand but then why call it buffet when you dont plan to stock up you could as well say meat is restricted.
Neha Agarwal
The worst food experience ever, the chicken clear soup was yuk... its like in hot water chicken is floating, Biryani was excessive oily, malai kebab could have been replaced with dessert as it was so sweet. Ordered fish chilly , it was not spicy at all... I mean how can you serve such a pathetic food and charge like premium hotels. We 7 adults,2kids and 2 toddlers bill came approximately 9k. I mean the food you serve is far behind the expectations. I won't suggest anyone should go there. Also what we ordered was mostly in sharing basis as we were 7.
Aayushi Sinha
Awesome food....much lately discovered ..chicken biryani, manchow soup, dhaniya chicken ...finger licking food...one of the best biryani I ever had...surely visiting again

Best of Indian food is served here. From the starters to the curries to the kulchas and rotis to biryanis and rice items. The vegetarian as well as non vegetarian dishes are superbly made. Definitely a place to try out with family or friends.

Have been to this place more than once. <br/>Food here is never disappointing. <br/>Starters, mock-tails, main course all taste and look good (only veg stuff tried). <br/>Portions served are also decent. <br/>Only issue is the pricing of the stuff. I found it a little expensive considering everything was good but nothing extraordinary.
Roma Dhillon
This restaurant serves some really delicious food!!!<br/>Ambiance - 4/5<br/>Food - 5/5<br/>Service - 5/5<br/>Value for money - 5/5<br/>Overall, a really nice place...

Average food. Price is too high. Average price per person is morethan 1300 rupees. For a normal course and a mocktail. Let's say a couple go to this restaurant and ordered following 1 veg starter, 1 veg curry, couple of Naans for each(total 4 Naans) and 2 deserts. This is pretty average food. Starter will cost around Rs 340/- veg curry cost around Rs 400/- 4 garlic Naans 4*85= Rs 340/- 2 deserts avg Rs 400/-. Total(without tax) is RS 1480/- taxes service charges 10% =RS 148/-. Service tax 7.5% = Rs 111/- VAT 14.5% on total price + service charge = 14.5% on Rs 1628/- is Rs 236/- So total including taxes = Rs 1975/- please note this is pretty average meal where only one veg curry is shared by two people and no additional rice items otherthan two Naans for each person. I don't see anything so special to pay such a high price in terms of taste or quality. Average food served at a very high price.

Been here over last weekend for lunch, very quite place, food and service is good, buffet is like value for money with options ... Courteous staff go extra in servicing their customers

One of the best places in Cunningham road . Great food good taste right quantity. Alcohol priced a bit higher. Best place for buffet . Have had multiple visits with family here and they offer good service. As it is underground restaurant you might miss the location in that one way road if you are on a drive
Girish Batra
Had a great experience on the a la carte on a Saturday evening . The food is hot and yummy and service is prompt .<br/>Keep it up Team Banjara Melting pot.

After a long time could manage to find a restaurant popular for Manglorean cuisines and I was not disappointed...rather it's turned out to be better than my expectations. Prawns ghassi with neer dosa is just mind blowing....super duper hit ....well tried few chicken and mutton dishes as well ....would love ❤️ to come back here to try their remaining manglorean dishes for sure .....a big 👍

A perfect restaurant to sit and have its delicious food. The dimly lit ambiance is blissful. The staff is excellent and courteous. The food is literally finger-licking. It is a complete package that a city can offer and one would love to eat here.

Today had been to Banjara melting point for lunch with a business partner !! It was a very bad experience and was shocked though the restaurant was not busy but the service was very bad ! The food quality was not all good and the buffet was horrible no refills and being a vegetarian not many options and the worst part was during the main course we ordered butter Paratha but they served us with out butter and made us wait for more than 20min for breads very bad service the servers are not aware of the customer service and before u go to get ur helping and come back on seat ur plates are cleared with out asking u !! Starters are served so late that they come with deserts. Overall a not so pleasant experience.

Banjara melting point at Cunningham Road is a delightful restaurant.<br/><br/>I loved their starters, main course & dessert.<br/><br/>Neer dosa & veg gassi is a class apart. The beautifully done dosas just melt in your mouth. The gassi complements the dosa really well.<br/><br/>The blue berry cheese cake for desserts was a cherry on the cake!

Banjara was a complete surprise. I have lived down the road from it for almost 10 years but never attempted to go in. But once I did i have ordered food from here almost every 2nd week. The chicken malai kabab is to die for. The restaurant is elegant. The flooring is stunning. The service is exceptional.

My expectations for this particular place was high as i have heard a lot about it. I decided to go for the lunch buffet, which was alright.<br/>They are suppose to serve good sea food, which I did not see. Also, the food was pretty average compared to the price that they charge.<br/>Ambiance is nice, place is neat and staff is very friendly. The service was quick as well. <br/><br/>Comparing the price and quality of food I got, I do feel like I over-paid. I will not recommend this if you are looking in for a place on budget.

“One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating.”. This place known for its Mughlai and seafood delicacies, is  located right opposite Citrus on Cunningham road and can be easily missed if not for the big board. Another branch is in Koramangala.<br/><br/>Food- Splendid. This restaurant serves some incredible kebabs in hot Metal 'Pots' that literary 'melts' in your mouth. Indian Breads are phenomenal. The buffet at Banjara is decent, but it pales before other restaurants like Three Quarter Chinese which offer a large spread. With a name like Banjara one would expect some good fish dishes in the buffet, but that was not to be--the basa which was served as a starter was disappointing. The fare is limited and not very exciting. But if you are looking for a quick, no-frills, sumptuous working meal, Banjara's buffet fits the bill. <br/><br/>The place is a bit cramped and can get claustrophobic when the restaurant is crowded, especially because it is located in the lower basement. Service is friendly and pleasant. <br/><br/>Food: 3.5/4<br/>Service: 4/5<br/>Ambiance: 3.5/5

Had been here on a lunch buffet during a weekday.. The place and d ambience wid d seating is neat.. I like the use of their crockery.. The reason yy I give it a 3.5 is bcoz of its limited items in a buffet.. u usually want alot more in buffet, but their food options got over before it even started.. Very limited opts for a buffet, but the taste is good.. I would definitely recommend to atleast add 5 to 6 items more for the buffet..

Catchy name and good reviews led us here for a weekend dinner.Located in Cunningham road which is one of the upcoming places for good resto's in Bangalore , it is easy to miss this place if not alert enough. The resto is located at basement level and a bright sign ( with help from Google map) on the road side leads you to this place, at the entrance would be the valet parking folks waiting to assist. A nicely lit flight of stairs leads downstairs to the dining area and the entrance is welcoming with this nice bar counter right opposite to the entrance. <br/>Ambience is very soothing with nice decor and comfortable seating. Cutlery and these nice slabs(wooden if i am not wrong) like fixtures for keeping plates were just perfect. Then came the Tabs(read Menu) which allows one to place order directly and add any special requests as well. The staff though do come and repeat the order just to ensure they got it right!<br/><br/>Coming to the food - started off with Burnt garlic soup and it was yum! Perfect texture and a refreshing taste to begin with. For starters - we opted for the 'Cheese aur subzi ki seekh' which was soft, tender and definitely cheesy, would have liked more of subzi to balance the flavour but no complaints here and it went well with the chutney provided. For the main course, we had Paneer Khurchan which had a good medium spicy sauce and Phalguni sabzi which needed more veggies, taste was pretty bland ! On the breads- roti, paratha, kulchas were all good and served hot but it seemed like a smaller version because of their size. <br/>Also, tried the szechwan fried rice which was perfect and had corn added as well which was unique. Overall a satisfying meal and a nice fine dining option.

Had lunch buffet ...<br/>It is good place to have lunch in this area.<br/>Ambiance and food quality is very good.<br/>Ambiance is little dark which make looks cool.<br/>I think it have good variety of starter and main course. Chicken tawa fry, chicken tandoori and fish fry was in starter and in main course ghost sarbani, chicken makhmalli and fish green curry are also good. Desserts are ok.<br/>Overall worth to visit to have good food.

This place is just yum yum and yum.To enter we have to take the stairs which leads down and then when you enter the ambience is very nice. The chicken and also the sea food here is to die for and the service is very nice. SO do visit this place at least once and you will remember it for sure .

I used to be a regular at Banjara years ago..somehow lost touch after it moved next doors from its original place in the basement close to the turf club... When some friends suggested to take me here, I jumped at the idea...we arrived quite late to dine, close to shutting time but the staff was very welcoming and prompt in taking our order..the food was served well in time and tasted decent, although it could have been better. The interiors are nicely done up and maintained tidily. The bar seemed well stocked and looked inviting! overall a nice place to visit.

Great food, great service. Very tasty and all starters freshly made. Buffet main was also very good. Only thing is the Aircon was very high so food got cold quickly but other than that great place for team lunch
