Review Zaitoon - Bengaluru

Leya Lakshmanan
Zaitoon is a great place where you are assured to get delicious food at affordable rates. We have been visiting this place for years and the taste and quality of their food has been consistent. Our favourites are Al Faham Dajaj, Laham Riyesh, Chicken Rogan Josh, Kunafa and Cheese naan. Recently, we tried their Lebanese chicken grill platter and Chicken biryani which were delicious as well. We've never tasted a disappointing dish at Zaitoon. Kudos to their staff for maintaining this streak of consistency and taste! PS: Their new interior decor on the first floor is smashing!

The food quality and services are top-class. You should try it once. Forget about the rest, this restaurant is simply the perfect one. Perfect kabsa taste and kunafa is awesome... Highly recommended

Awesome place for non-veg food lovers with Arabian taste, all of the items were cooked to perfection with a mild spice’s.

We went there for lunch and had to wait 5-10 mins for a table. Ordered 3 chicken starters and 3 main course items. Alfram chicken and grilled chicken were nice. But the kubus served with them was not so great. Also, they brought in the main course quite late. We had ordered non veg mixed fried rice. Quantity wise it is perfect for one person. Waiter said chicken handi chicken would be spicy but we found it okay

Zaitoon, amazing biryani and their mayo is just too good. The starters seem a bit expensive though. They have an empty field right next door, where you may park your car, which is quite a relief since the restaurant is right on the main road. The only drawback is- you will have to ask for mayo separately and each small bowl of mayo is priced at Rs.50/- and you will not get a mayo with your order, I found this to be a bit strange!

I am visiting Zaitoon for last Sony years. I do find same taste of food. And staffs are very courteous. Always special thanks to Mr. Muneer. He is very friendly and cheerful man. Thanks 🙏

This is a fine multi cuisine restaurant popular for it’s Middle Eastern food items. In last year I visited this place almost five-six times and every-time my experience was great. Here I like to order grilled chicken which is way too delicious. Apart from grilled chicken naan, butter chicken and falooda are my personal favourites. Service is fast and efficient. There’s ample space available for parking as well.

One of the best multi-cuisine family restaurant in Bangalore. Everything and anything in the menu is just awesome. You get to taste wonderful starters bot veg and non veg with delicious main course. My favourite are the Chinese dishes in the menu and trust me this is only restaurant I found who knows how to prepare certain Chinese dishes. After my first visit I could resist myself and visited 4 more times. I tried naan and other north indian dishes as well and became a fan of the preparation. I highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful dine-in experience. Must visit.

Good place for non-veg lovers. I ordered Crab Soup which was ok-ok. Their Spl BBQ Chicken which was yum. In desert, they suggested me Mango Falooda which had freshly cut Mangoes, again very tasty. Restaurant is small and usually crowded but their service is good. Will surely visit again when I'm in Bangalore next time!

Best place in the region for a good lunch option when in office. Have had multiple office lunches here. The food is good with decent options on menu. The service lacks a bit and if visited on peak hours, becomes even more dreadful. Dal Makhani was really good.
Ali Ibrahim
The ambience of the place is quite good. The place is a bit crowded and noisy (probably because it’s lunch time) however that is forgotten once the food arrives. Very authentic Indian taste ( Masala and Naan). BBQ stuff was even better. Fresh Juices were as good as it gets. And big plus: they use paper straws.
Abdullah S Akhter
Our favourite family dineout. The restaurant is however a lil small and the service could be faster. No complaints about the taste, absolutely love it. U hav a wide range of cuisines to choose from. V are here for the middle eastern cuisines especially. The ambience is good but should definitely improve on the dining space

Wonderful place for Dinner. Location is fantastic no need to worry about parking. Ambience ta moderate, nicely decorated. Staffs are courteous and helpful. If you love Arabic food try them here. Go easily for recommendations from staffs. Mutton and chicken preparation was fantastic. Biryani was average and Fish was not upto mark. Falooda are worth trying. Overall nice!

Excellent tawa kebabs like Clope meshwi and dajaj meshwi. Quantity served is also good. Pricing is little high.

Nice family place to eat. The quality of food is quite good and price is reasonable too. I like this place.

Had been a fan of zaitoon domlur until we had the stomach upset for the third time. Twice with shawarma and once with chef's special barbeque chicken. Food dint taste bad, however ended up having bad stomach troubled from the very next morning. I think its high time to have a check on the quality of the products used.
Rahul Ayojak
Absolutely no-complaint Mutton Biryani, worth the money spent, with aromatic long-grained rice, mutton pieces suited for Biryani only, well-cooked, not spicy, easy on the stomach, optimum portion served. Mutton seekh kebab not impressive.
Shahbaz Ahmed
JP Nagar is the better branch. The only best dish I found is Pepper Barbeque chicken. You could take a full serving and finish it with Quboos. Cheers.

Atmosphere is too good with pleasant lightings.
The time to deliver the food was too late

Zaitoon - sound's unique !!! Well it's Arabic.

The place welcomes you with a clean and beautiful ambience and not so smiling waiters. You get the sense of Arabic looking at the waiters.

We ordered Pepper barbeque chicken , rumali rotis, paneer curry. You get hummus and thoum (garlic paste) absolutely free and they charge you extra when you want more. The pepper barbeque chicken was cooked to perfection and not so spicy. The flavors were in right proportion.

Zaitoon offers you Indian ,Chinese and Arabic dishes. Why choose Indian and Chinese when they are known for Arabic. The service was pathetic and can be improved drastically. Overall a good experience.

Rating :3.75/5
Place :Zaitoon, old airport road Bangalore

#arabic#zaitoon#bangalore#fooddiaries#foodporn#foodgram #foodsofinstagram #barbeque#hummus

Visited this place many times. Love the food. Especially Alfaham Dajaj and Barbeque Chicken. They serve these along with kubus, plain mayonnaise and garlic mayo. Me and my friends are huge fans of these dishes with kubus and mayonnaise. It is the best I had. Must try.

Starters - Pompret is also good.

Veg food is also tasty. Mushroom varieties are good here and also veg fried rice

I first went to Zaitoon in Chennai near the Adyar beach way back in 2010... Since then in my stint there, frequented the place quite a bit... Was always looking forward to eating at Zaitoon again, so the first thing I did in Bengaluru was to check how far Zaitoon is from the place I am staying now... And call it destiny, it is only a 10 minute walk... So even the unusual wait time on a Tuesday afternoon could not discourage me enough... Coming to food, tried the Pepper Barbeque chicken with hummus and pita, which tasted exactly like it did 10 years back... Also tried the Kozi Laham, which is Mutton in a bed of saffron rice... This is insanely flavorful and delicious... I personally feel Zaitoon should remove those junk Indian and Chinese pages and stick to just those two or three pages of Arabic cuisine... And they should look at serving some Arabic drinks as well... Also they should expand to other big Indian cities as well... Highly recommended...

We decided to head here for lunch. This place is close to the Manipal hospital on the Old Airport road. I wasn’t really impressed with the location and the entrance of this restaurant however inside the restaurant was clean and presentable. Loved their Dhal soup which was tasty and wholesome. We also ordered a Veg Sheek kabab which okay. What was really tasty was their Egg biryani which was super hot and fresh and had the perfect blend of everything. I am sure the meat lovers will enjoy this place more than vegetarians. However I would recommend anyone to visit this place as they have enough veg items on the menu too. Parking is definitely a hassle.
Raj
Ordered mutton biriyani and some mutton dry.

Zomato delivered superb.

Food is so delicious, fresh and tasty... quantity also reasonable.

Packed nicely

Having shifted to just a few meters away from this restaurant, this has become one of our recent favourites. They have a huge spread of grilled chicken/ mutton and each is unique in its own way.
In the pic : zaitoon special BBQ chicken and badami grill chicken.
Zaitoon special grilled chicken was tender, juicy, well cooked and flavourful. The badami grill was well roasted and crisp on the outside and soft on the inside for the perfect bite. Pita bread with hummus and garlic mayo dip served with the grill is just perfect to complement the flavors.
Definitely going back to try their wide variety of grills and other Arabian delicacies.
Food - 4.7/5
Ambience - 3.5/5
Cost - INR 280-300 for half grill portion
#foodporn #Bangalorefooddiaries #bangalorefoodie #grilledchicken

Very good food. Tried 3 BBQ dishes and all of them were good. The Moroccan BBQ was awesome. The service is also very good. Rajath deserves a special mention for his excellent hospitality and recommendations.

Zaitoon is very close to my office and I have been visiting this place for a few years now. I especially love the barbeque chicken, the mutton biryani, the hummus.
I tried the Saudi Spiced Potatoes thinking this would be spicy, but was disappointed. There was no spice and was topped with way to much Parsley.

Overall, the restaurant is great and the service is also fast.
MyCupOfTea
The food is good. Try the mutton biryani. The fish curry was also nice. The chicken grill starters are better than the other places in Bangalore. The quantity is good and all food tasty. Service is also quick.

Firstly the ambience is pretty good. It's a perfect place for family dining. This is mainly famous for Arabian cuisine but they have a huge coverage to othe cuisine as well. We ordered zaitoon spcl BBQ chicken which comes with 2 pita breads, hummus, mayonnaise and it was very good in taste. We also ordered chicken reshmi kabab and that was the star of the table. Both presentation and taste was on point.
Overall a good experience.

Visited this place on a Saturday afternoon and it was crowded.. There's was a waiting time of 5-10 minutes but it was worth the wait..Food is awesome, ambience is beautiful and service is quiet quick given the fact that the place was completely full..Moreover the place is quiet reasonable on the pocket as compared to many other eateries in the city.. Completely satisfied with my visit..Well done team and good luck👍

Chicken starters and veg starters were good.. But butter Kulcha was very bad.. It was very thick.. When I informed the same to waiter.he said new comer he is learning!! They should train properly then allow them to cook for us.. Instead of experimenting on us.

When I first came in to Bangalore I was suggested by a friend that this place is a must visit if you are a chicken liver .
And yes it is true.
If you want some lipsmacking chicken, you ought to visit zaitoon.
This place has a western cum Mughal era feeling.
With staff wearing a hat and serving it a smile, with beautifully decorated and lighted this restaurant son my heart.
A heads-up you got to book a table because the waiting time is more as this place is always crowded for known reasons.
We ordered some special chicken zaitoon lollypop.its was delicious.
It was neither dry nor was it muddy , a perfect blend of crisp and flavour.
The quantity is perfect or more for 2 people.
We ordered our favourite butter garlic naan and chicken lazeez( don't remember the name exactly) for out main course and that made our day.
A perfect luncheon !
Happy eating people.
Do visit here once..
JEETHESH KARKERA
Food and service is very nice. I liked tandoori items. Its a bit small restaurant so sometimes we need to wait 15-20 mins. Price is reasonable and taste of the food is awesome 👌👌👌

Barbeque chkn, green pepper chkn, mutton biriyani, chkn swarma. Thats all I tried and am a regular customer. Peak hours are a no go time. Try ordering online.

Awsome food and good menu to choose from. Tried garlic naan and dal makhani. Dal makhani and Aloo kulcha is a must try.
Though snacks were not as good, a bit cold. Rest everything is ok.
Good place to go with friends after office.
Food 3.5/5
Service 4/5
Ambience 4/5

Extremely delighted with the taste of the Arabic cuisine here. A restaurant with a good range in menu ranging from Indian to Arabic to Chinese. Pretty spacious. Decently priced and well located. Loved the Mutton sheekh kebab platter.
Sudha Mathivanan
We’ve never had a complaint in any of the outlets of Zaitoon
Had a relishing food and worth the money..
The lime soda was so refreshing to finish up the rich food.
We had machow soup, rotis, mutton kara and a dejaj platter.. quantity is real good and excellent service
No wonder it’s packed even on weekdays..
Avijit Chakraborthy
It’s a small place but the overall ambience is good. During rush hours we had to wait for a table. The food is amazing and the prices are on the above moderate range. I intend to visit the place again for the yummy food. Also the staff is courteous and prompt.
Omar Rizwan
Like Arabic food this should be your stop for it. It's a small place but the food is great. Make sure to book a table in advance as it's always crowded.

Must try is Al Fahm.
Food - 4
Ambiance - 3.5
Price - 4
Service -4
Simple food which fills your souls . Especially the lamb chops , the mutton biryani and the mustard alfarm chicken , end the meal with the special falooda .
The restaurant is always filled with people and people waiting in que .
This place is nice and small. The food variety has really improved from the last time I have been there especially the chicken Barbeque starters are amazing. By the way, the service is very average that's the only hiccup I had, but other than that it's a great choice to take your family out for a mouth watering meal.

This place is nicely located. Small but the ambiance is nice. Visited for a dinner. We really enjoyed the dishes that we tried. We had the following:

1. Chicken clear soup: nice
2. Chicken grilled: very nice
3. Chicken Rogan Josh: pretty good

Overall, a very nice place to have good moghlai food. Liked the service and it was fast. A recommended place in the area.

Summary: Small and friendly place with good staff and service. Went for a team lunch. Service was quite good. The restaurant has variety of food options, both veg and non veg can be tried here. Ordered platters along with hummus and rice. Although drinks were not that great and bit sweet but recommended for food.

I came across this restaurant recently and went to try it out. They have a comfortable dining area, which can accomodate more than 50 people at a time. The ambience is good and neat.
With respect to the food, it was nice. We had Laham Kabza, Chicken Tikka Masala and Al Faham Chicken, along with Garlic Naan. Except 4 the Laham Kabza, which was salty. The chicken tikka masala and al Faham chicken both were nice and the garlic naan too tasted nice. Mint lime was okay. Not amazing as such.
The service is a bit slow, which they can improve in the future.
They have a ground adjacent to the restaurant for parking and hence, no parking woes.
The pricing is a bit on the higher side.
Altogether, good place to have arabic dishes.

I had been to Zaitoon J P Nagar a couple of years before and I still carried the happiness i had during that dinner. With old memories fresh, i checked in to zaitoon on HAL Road and it turned out to be no where near the taste i had from JP Nagar branch.
Five of us had soup, chilli chicken roasted, kulcha, nan, wheat paratha, chicken xacoti, muttom biriyani, schezwan chicken tripple fried rice.
Fried rice turned out to be bad and we didn't like it at all. Had specifically asked if biriyani was kerala style, but turned out to be hyderabad style. Mutton biriyani was just ok. Had specifically asked about spicy starter and was recommended chicken chilli roasted which turned out to be completely non-spicy and more like dragon chicken. Even though we didn't get the flavour that we wanted, the starter was good. Roti s and chicken gravy ware acceptable but nothing to write about. Costed 2000 odd, but was completely dissappointed. Ambiance was fine, not as big as the JP nagar one, but we went there for the food.
Mareena Sahoo
Good food, authentic taste! Take some time in your hand if you want to eat here, coz its always full, but clears up pretty fast! Have been here loads of time. Never dissatisfied.
Anson Dsilva
This place has some really good Arabic food. The mutton ribs and other starters we ordered were too good. Even the mutton rice that we ordered was flavourful. The service is slow but the good food will compensate for that
Debi.vicky
Starters are good! Big thumbs up for the late night opening. Its a lifesaver specially when you have late food cravings. Pita bread and hummus is a must try with the platter.
Rizwan
The restaurant has decent ambience and good staff.. the staff is very friendly. Food is great. Barbeque is really good, the chicken curries I have tried like chicken tikka masala and Lucknow chicken are good.. soup is average and not really out of the world.. the starters, specially the platters are the USP of the restaurant.

This outlet of Zaitoon is located in the Old Airport Road, just before the flyover which leads to Domlur. We went to Zaitoon on a Sunday afternoon, after having heard a lot of good things about their Arabian delicacies.

The place was almost full by the time we visited since it was a sunday afternoon after all. The place has a large enough seating capacity but you may want to keep some time in hand if you are visiting the place at times like these.

Our biggest attraction to this place was a dish named Alfaham Dajaj and it tasted very good. It tasted delicious with the humus and is a must have at this place. For main course, we were left disappointed with the Mutton Dum Biriyani as it did not taste authentic enough.

All in all, I would love to pay Zaitoon another visit in the future just to have a taste Alfaham Dajaj.
Ashaya Kodapala
If you are a non veg lover, must visit place. Fish, chicken starters we're good. Try Garlic paratha, chicken tikka masala ending with deserts and litchi juice.
Sony
The Kerala Paratha is super soft and goes well with Mutton Rogan Josh. I have always ordered from here and the quantity delivered and the packaging is quiet good.
Ishita Mathur
Good selection of food. Personally, I like their garlic naan and malai kofta. The grilled mushroom is also good! Home delivery maintains the quality of food as well.
Aseem Kumar
This place is average for veg food. Nothing in veg was great that I can talk about. The curries had similar taste, and we were wondering whether these are separate dishes or not. The soup was really bad. I heard that non veg food is good, and I will let the non-vegetarians share their feedback.
Ambiance is also okay okay. The hall is small and does not have material to absorb sound. As a result, it was noisy.
Service is bad. The servers were moving around clueless many a times. The order included pita as one of the item out of many, and he immediately brought pita, without thinking what are we supposed to eat with it. A few times, had to call the servers multiple times to get their attention, and then remind them of what has been asked of them.
Shiran Ibrahim Sait
Friendly Staff
Manager very helpful to suggest food and communication
Tasty Food&Great Service

The resturant is verymuch hygenic and i must reccomend it. Once again i thank for all the staff for their support... really enjoyed the meal.

The italian cocktail, Mixed Tawa Kabab and Zaitoon Favaco are the items which I strongly reccomend...
Zaid Ahmed
This Place has never disappointed me.. food is always great with friendly staff and good ambience..
My favorite on the list is the Pepper Barbeque
Sameera Fatima
Saw the great reviews and went here. The Dal ghost and rice was good. But the starters - effa dajaj(chicken kebab ) and rubiyan mashwhy sizzler(prawn sizzler) were total waste of money. Plus they were cleaning the restaurant while we were eating and the place was too rushed for them to service properly.
Atufa Shabnam
This is one the must visit places for Arabian food lovers. The food here is extremely delicious. Or I might this is the kind of food which I love the most . The honey chili chicken here is my all time favourite
Edendsouza4
The Alfaham here is the best, this place is like a typical arabian cuisine were they the serve all the dishes to the taste a customer will never forget. Must visit

Place qas aweeome. We had s great time. aweosme food steward Parbin & Nayak are too professional n hospitality was awesome. This team is fabulous

Worth it. Good dishes and value for money.
Ambiance is also good. Suitable for family.
So far it is one of the good place to have Arabian dishes.
Odyssey
Amazing food. Loved the jeera aloo. The ambience is quaint, the service is apt and the food is delicious. Might have to wait in a queue though but is worth your time. A perfect family place
Malvika Lotlikar
Zaitoon is a casual dining serving multi cuisines.
My friend and I dropped by specially to have the AL FAHAM CHICKEN as we had heard a lot about this place.
The food tasted absolutely amazing and we were totally amused by the service rendered to us.
Definitely visiting again :)
Rajat Goyal
There has never been a day when we don't have to wait for half n hour atleast to finally get a seat here but again that is worth the wait. The food they serve and service they provide is good. Being a vegetarian i've tried most of their north Indian cuisine and few of them are really good. To name a few, veg soup which is rich in veggies and with perfect thickness, daal makhni which is creamy n well cooked, corn starters which are crispy and juicy. Overall they have never let me down and i wish they continue maintaining the same
Shivani Rawat
Have been to this place for lunches on various occasions and I must say this place has never let us down in terms of food, ambiance, and service, though the waiting for minutes is a little disappointing which is again justified by the fact that this is the only restaurant serving food in its vicinity. So far I've tried almost all of their cuisines be it soup, starters, food, and desserts. Some of my fav picks are Cream of tomato soup, Crispy baby corn, Dal Makhni, Paneer butter masala, and kulchas. Since this is a pocket-friendly place hence always a part of my go-to list :)
Mohd Arshad
Zaitoon is a very good place if you are having a liking for Arabic cuisines. Have been here multiple times and thought of writing review finally. Ambience is good, not too cluttered. Shawarma, tandoori fish and alfaham are must try dishes here . In main course, mutton Rogan Josh is gud. Though I have always been disappointed with veg here. Not a good place to try veg.
Shruti Agrawal
The food earlier was much better in taste...both platters have the reduced taste and quality as expected from earlier...veg food tasted average too.
Farrukh Afreen
Looking at crowd in the entrance gave us slight idea that this place is going to rock 👍😍 simply awesome... We went there with the mood of trying sea food and we had varieties of prawns and fish. All were delicious 😋
The most surprising point is that it is very budget friendly...
Sunanda Dey
Wholesome multi-flavour food that always impresses taste buds. This is surely a go to place when you decide to belt non-veg off the limits. I am regular here when I thrive in such moods and the queue at the place just tells how popular it is among foodies. Although specialized in Arabic food, but Indian and Chinese are worth trying.
For vegetarians not many options are listed.
Quick at service, only when you find a place.

|| Team Lunch Special ||

Went there in a group of 12 people for team lunch with office collegues around 20 days back.

Ambience: The ambience is nice. Nothing very surprising but whatever is there is well maintained and well kept.

Staff/Service : The staff is polite and quick in there service. No complains on this part.

Food/Beverages: So we were in total 12 people. We could not get a single table so we got seated in 2 adjacent tables having 6 people each. So in our table we ordered Baby Corn Manchurian, Chilli Gobi, Roasted Chilli Chicken, Egyptian BBQ chicken and Red Dragon Prawn for starters. The BBQ chicken was great and I personal loved the Chilli Chicken. In the main course we took Tandoori Roti, Butter Naan, Chicken Rara, Chicken RoganJosh, Chana Masala and Paneer Tikka Masala. Everything tasted well and good. After that we ordered we deserts. Will be attaching pic of those.

The only problem was that every item looked more or less same. I have written the names of the item with the pic so that it does not look like duplicate pic of the same thing.

P.S: This place is worth visiting but just be ready to wait for a while to get a seat 😊😊

#PhoneCameraFoodLife #BabyCornManchurian #ChilliGobi #RoastedChilliChicken #EgyptianBBQChicken #RedDragonPrawn #TandooriRoti #ButterNaan #ChickenRara #ChickenRoganJosh #ChanaMasala #PaneerTikkaMasala #ChocolateBrownie #Falooda

This is one of the most busy restaurants in its vicinity during lunch time on any weekday. Being at a walking distance from a lot of offices and good food at good prices makes it a perfect choice for team and group lunches. If you don't get advance booking, please be prepared to wait during lunch hours. Though they have good seating arrangements for people waiting outside.

The food here is just amazing and available at very attractive prices. Almost everything from starters to desserts are mouth watering. Service was excellent as well given it's usually fully occupied.

Among starters, crispy babycorn and panner salt & pepper are not to be missed. Don't miss on brownie sizzler with hot chocolate; the presentation and taste are just amazing.

Ambience: 3*

Location: 5*

Food: 5*

Service: 4*

Prices: 5*

For all of us who love Arabian food like barbeque and grilled stuff, this place is like the best. I have tried almost all the variety of barbecue here and loved it all.

Had the Kozi Dijaj and Grill Chicken as a "take away" on Sunday for lunch.

Firstly, Kozi Dijaj, both chicken and rice was brilliant, nice blend of flavors and both chicken and rice was cooked just right. Rating for this dish...4/5

Second, the grill chicken, a complete disaster!! The chicken was not grilled at all, the breast pieces especially were tough and fibery, Marinade although tasty had not "got in" to the meat. I had to grill the pieces again at home during dinner time. The hummus was ok, gave out a sourish taste when I had it for dinner, dumped it in the bin along with some of the pieces. Rating for this dish...0.5/5.

Never had a problem with Zaitoon in the past, staff are always courteous, be it the staff at the restaurant, the door or the delivery guys, they are always professional. But over the last few months the food quality seems to be deteriorating. Please take care or its back to Empire for Grill Chicken..
Sajith Sathiadevan
This place is the best I have found for Arabian food. Have been having food for past 5 years. Never had a bad experience. Last week had the NewYear buffet dinner. It was a great spread of starters, main course, salads, desserts and bewerages. It is worth every single penny spent.
Greeshma R
We ordered biriyani and fried rice. Biriyani was good. Fried rice was pathetic. It was just undercooked rice and vegetables mixed together without any flavours
Abhinav Gadde
One of the best restuarants to try the arabic food . You should definitely try the mutton biryani here ,the mutton is so perfectly cooked and the menu also has so many starters ,the ones we tried were good (zaitoon special and BBQ chicken)

One of the best Mutton Biriyani i've had in a long time. They serve some great Mediterranean food too. They usually serve thier starters with pita and hummus which is yummy.

ZAITOON is a outlet on Old Airport Road serving multiple cuisines.
The place can be found easily and the ambience is good.
It is always crowded and a bit noisy.

Coming to food, it has a large variety of food items specially for the non-vegetarians its a delight.
For starters the grilled chicken and fish manchurian was really finger licking. The biriyani was also good but not the best.

The food quality here is really awesome if evaluated according to the pricing. Overall this place is a must try.

Visited Zaitoon with my team for a team dinner on Dec 7th, we had ordered food from Zaitoon a couple of times and we really liked the food. This time we chose to go there for a team dinner and we were amazed at the food quality and the service. Restaurant manager Muneer was very helpful and he took good care of us. All the starters and main course items recommended by Mr Muneer were delicious. We tried their Barbeque Chicken it was delicious. Items we ate and recommend others to try as well are Al-Faham Chicken, Fish on Sizzler, Mutton Raan, Golden Prawns, Fish Fry (Huge Pomfrets) and their delicious Mutton Biryani. Our Vegetarian friends also enjoyed the food. Big thank you to Mr Muneer the restaurant manager for his exceptional service. I would like to visit this restaurant again and again.

Visited this place for lunch on Sunday with family. It was very crowded and we had to wait for 10 minutes to get a table. We ordered Barbeque chicken half and special zaitoon chicken half. Both were good while barbeque chicken was spicy, he special zaitoon chicken was sweet and spicy. Half plate contained 4 pieces and 2 kubbus. We ordered some extra Kubbus. The hummus, mayonnaise and green chutney was very tasty. Then we also ordered one chicken fried rice and one chicken Rogan Josh. Both were tasty. We ordered chocolate ice cream milk shake and royal falooda. Royal falooda was shared by 4 of us and it had 3 scoops of ice cream of different flavours. The bill came upto 1300 rs. The service was also quick and staff was friendly.

Only thing I was little worried was that when we were waiting outside I saw stack of chicken with masala (not sure if it is cooked or uncooked) uncovered near the grill. This gave me a slight doubt regarding the hygiene in which barbeque is done.

Got the special chicken and chicken shawarma delivered via Dunzo. The kuboos was hard and chicken inside tough and old. I felt it tasted more like bacon than chicken. Definitely not fresh. I have ordered several times from here via swiggy and never had a bad experience before. Very bad quality food this time though. The kuboos is usually soft and chicken quite good. I considered zaitoon to be one of the best shawarma places in Bangalore but now I wonder why they are not concerned about the health of the consumer.

Well this is known for some middle East food...the ambience is okayish... ordered pepper barbecue and barbecue chicken...this is served with some hummus and pita...pepper barbecue was good as the chicken is barbecued with pepper masala allowed to get cooked in spices...this is definitely a try once cuisine!

Place is not spacious but the seating comfortable and interiors are pleasing. Easy to find as close to Leela Palace and always filled with foodies. The food is delicious and doesn't burn a hole in your pocket. Walkable from domlur flyover and Manipal Hospital. Arabian dishes are speciality though they serve Indian and Chinese cuisine..

This place is located on Old Airport Road and have been visiting this place for quiet sometime. Their Biryanis and mutton dishes are really good! Love the mexican shawarma that they have here. Good location, spacious and comfortable seatings. Reasonable pricing . Tried a Tandoori home delivery today and it also gets a thumbs up! Parking available. Recommended even for a family gathering.

Had been here for my birthday treat. Its casual dinning and multicuisin restaurant. They have many varieties in their menu Arabian, bbq, Indian, Chinese, juices, Shakes etc.
Ambience is not great. Small place and nice sitting arrangement.
But it was crowded and so much noise.

Coming to food ordered crispy paneer, fish Manchurian, dragon prawn, chicken lahori, mushroom masala, masala kulcha, veg biriyani, tandoori roti and pista milkshake. Everything was delicious. All starters were very good. Usually veg biriyani won't be good at other places. But here veg biriyani was damn good. Worth having. Perfectly cooked with spice and taste. Must try.

Staffs were good and service was fast.

Price is also reasonable and delicious food. A must try out place!

During Diwali we visited this place. A group of 6 were seated pretty quickly with friendly staff. We tried to order their special BBQ but it was out of stock. So we went for alfham and cubos. For starters we had crispy paneer and mutton ruhn. We also tried the badami chicken. Pocket friendly family restaurant with good food.

Had ordered food from here last night through zomato , unfortunately the food was not as expected, ordered falafal , shawarma nd falooda, falooda was average, shawarma was plain nd dry and falafel was bad ... being visited this place nd really liked my experience there ,hence had gone ahead ordered the food, but this time ..it was a disappointment...

Finally ordered from zaitoon last night and we were not disappointed. The hummus is silky smooth and just wonderful. The grilled chicken was simply amazing and the Dal was delicious as well. The only negative point was the pita bread which felt a little stale. All in all, really good Arabic food and will definitely order again.

Excellent food at economical rates for family and friends. Have mostly tried North Indian food. Biryani out here is also very delicious. Courteous staff available.
