Review Tandoori Taal - Bengaluru

I absolutely love the food at this place! The dishes have the authentic taste of North Indian flavors, which is a delightful culinary experience. Not only that, but the service is also excellent, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance of the place is just right – it's cozy and comfortable, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a wonderful meal. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of North India in a cozy setting.

Nice place to have some good North Indian food. It is crowded on weekends so wait can be atleast 30 minutes. But the food is worth the wait. The waiters are polite and the place is clean. Ambience is good as well. The food is halal as well last I checked. The tandoori thali was very tasty and the drinks are refreshing as well. Overall good place.

Food is excellent. Ambient atmosphere too but the music could be better. We ordered the tandoori malai brocolli for starters which was yummy. For mains we ordered paneer butter masala (paneer was soft and was tasty), Jalandhari mushroom (spicy but really good) and daal makhani along with garlic naans. The service is really prompt and quick however I rated it 3 only for the way the food was served. Daal was put into cups but forgot to serve to a few of us, the daal was dripping on the table while service and we landed up wiping it. Could be more careful and clean with the service. Lovely place to go with family for a good Punjabi meal.

Liked Tandoori Taal for its very good ambience. Customer service from my experience here is just excellent. Very polite staff. My feeling although more of Non veg options, the veg opted food I had was really very relishing. I had their Butter roti with Masala Bhindi. Was very well attended by Mr.Chinmay, Ms.Priyanka and Mr.Alok. Thank you Shall definitely recommend this hotel

This is a good place to satisfy your punjabi taste buds. Being vegetarian, we had masala papad, Paneer kurchan, Naan, mixed raita. All of the items were good in taste and had good amount of proportions. You also get complimentary roasted papad. Has good punjabi vibes. Soothinh hindi songs are played in the background but are not loud.

The ambiance is good and food servers are very polite and will respond immediately for any queries. Food are very tasty. Valet parking is available at the basement. Crowded in weekends. So going early in evening is better to get table. All naan, roti varieties are good. I tried chandini kebab starter (mild spice) which tasted good. But prawn dish wasn't completely cooked. Lassi is special here. So don't miss it.

I went to this place with my friend and it was good place. The vegetarian food was good. The taste was good. The quantity was also good. Some of the food items they need to work like dahi ke kabab. The staff is also nice and attentive. Overall good experience. You should try this place.

It has Rajasthani styled ambiance. Food is really good. I ordered Sarso da saag aur makke di roti. I was not expecting this north indian dish to be so deliciously prepared here. We felt like we were in Punjab eating this dish. Liked it.

My review is going to be on a Vegetarian basis as I went for dinner on that day we decided for veg. Had Subz Di tikki which is cheesy and good. Rotis along with Makai Ki Roti which is soft and tasty in combination with Tawa Subz with medium spicy is a blizz. Also butter milk (chaas) was also nice to have in between. They provided complimentary papad as well. Finally to end with dessert which we ordered was Rasamalai and Gajar ka halwa was so delightful 🙂. Recommended on a Vegetarian perspective. Valet parking is available. Valet staffs were politeful as well.

The place is great for North Indian food. We ordered items for dinner which included dal makhani, paneer tikka butter masala, Missi roti, butter roti, panner stuffed nan, pineapple raita, lassi and spite. Panner was very yummy. Dal makhani was okayish. Personally, I didn't like much compared to paneer. They do serve complimentary papad. They do have sirka pyaz but you have to ask them explicitly and that's also complimentary. Pineapple raita and sweet lassi were too good. See attached pics as well to get better sense.

*****Recommended***** #MasaledarMurgKiChamp(Nonveg) #BhuttaCigar(Veg) #Lassi Another gem for North Indian cuisine in town. Strictly for Indian food. Old Hindi songs cover the background music along with wonderful decoration all around the place. Lots of picture clicking spots. The portion size is really good as per the pricing. +++FOOD Perfect is the word to describe such place and their food. #MasaledarMurgKiChamp(NV) : This is the signature dish, best on the chicken appetizer section. I have not tried the rest but can conclude my view. Very tender, medium spicy. Tandoori style preparation, but the chicken is very soft and juicy. #KadhaiMurgPatiala(NV) : The gravy was not very spicy and the chicken is boneless. But trust me, they prepare food in a hygienic way, unlike most places with oil floating all over. Appreciate the cooking style. #Lassi : Wah wah, you cannot miss their desiDrink. Very fresh, thick and wonderfully flavored. #BhuttaCigar(V) : A deep fried appetizer, wonderful serving style(refer pics). Presented in shot glasses dipped in mayo sauce. Contain sweetcorn along with paneer and other vegetables. #PaneerKhurchan(V) : An onion based dish with paneer cubes tossed with fresh tomatoes. Tag this with rumaliRoti to enjoy the best flavor. #GajarKaHalwa : Friends, the best dessert on the menu. #Breads : RoomaluRoti and the StuffedKulcha were the best picks. Others were good and fresh too. Along with your food ordered you get complimentary cone shaped masala papad and variety of chutney. +++Service Delightful was my experience, despite the slowness in preparing the food.

I always loved this place and their menu. I saw them growing from 600 ft small setup to a full floor premium restaurant. It is mostly crowded but the taste and the time spent is worth the wait in queue. Pricewise also good but after chicken melts in your mouth you will forgot what the total bill will be.

This place is amazing..The non veg platter was great, meat was cooked to perfection..The sweet lassi is also good..If you're craving for some authentic north indian food then this is the place where you should go!!

So we visited this place for a family dinner and there are two things I would like to talk about. 1. The Nostalgic Ambience 2. The Non Veg Platter Once you enter this place, there's a dhaba/Desi feel to it. Old Kishore & Rafi songs in the background, the lantern lighting, the furniture with Brass cutlery and the old mopeds + transistors (there are 3-4 vintage ones) lead you to a old forgotten memory. So we order the Non Veg Platter. The taste was ridiculously similar to Dhaba food (which is a good thing), but one could easily make out the quality of the preparation to be much different. Juicy and soft kababs, minimal Masala in the Seekhs to preserve the meat flavour, the platter was a great order. Highly recommended.

I always love dining there.. Non-veg is awesome.. Presentation of any dish is mind blowing.. Ambience is smoothing n music is peaceful all time favorite collection of Kishore da.. Dine in with friends or family is perfect selection.

Extremely poor service and taste of food. The servers were inattentive. No one bothered to refill the water glasses despite several requests. One of the items ordered by us was never served. Another item ordered by us was replaced by something else and the server had no idea what it was
Shilpi Roy Mukherjee
The roti section is really good...we tried the garlic butter naan, missi roti and roomali roti. We had ordered chandni kebab and paneer amritsari tikka among the starters, they both tasted fresh and well cooked. In the main course, chicken lababdar was really yummy but the mutton roganshosh could have been better as the mutton was.not that soft. Overall a good dining experience

Small and congested place, you will have to wait for at least 30mins on weekends. Food is wow!!! Service is quick. Should consider expanding the place.

Nice beautiful place and yummy food. Perfect place for party

Awesome place and delicious food. Food was with proper North Indian touch. Staff should be little more polite but still I can give 5/5 easily.
Adarsh Nataraja Iyer
Small restaurant, but really good ambiance. Lachha parata and pindi chole was yummmm... Will visit again to dive deep. And yeah, good service too.
Sagnika Mohanty
It is good in taste, ambience, but when it comes to take away or parcel there's a cheat in quantity.. as you guys reduces its quantity!!! And its little type of conning!

We went here for dinner. The highlight was Sarso Da Saag and Makai Roti which was brilliant! It was so simple yet flavourful! Thanks to Deepak for serving our table well, recommending dishes and ensuring we get our food on time.
Tandoori Taal is my favourite place to order from when it comes to Indian food. Their roomali rotis, mutton keema, homestyle chicken and the mutton Rogan Josh are pretty good. Even the non-veg tikkas in the starters are pretty damn good.
Saloni Rajvanshi
One of the very few Authentic North Indian restaurants in Bangalore.
AKris
Food was pretty tasty and almost everything had good flavour ! Lassi didn't taste the authenticity they boast about ! Only downside we faced was dead slow service ! U need to get up and raise Ur hand to get someone's attention ! As a restaurant, it is equally important to have an effective crowd management ! Need real improvement on this ! Quality of food and prices are decent enough but doesn't fare good in terms on quantity !
Gaurav Kumar
Awesome food and ambience.

One very important thing missing is the customer experience. We ordered for ourself and asked for serving non spicy potato wedges/ fries as we were with our small kid, and every one including the chef denied to prepare it saying out of menu. This is first time I have encountered such response in all my national or international experiences. We had no choice but to move out and the food take away. Food taste is alright but there are multiple restaurants that are better around the area.

I shall never want to go back it’s not a miss at all.

Good food , clean and well maintained place with staff being courteous , observant and well informed
Extra star rating for the staff

RATING 5/5

AMBIANCE & SERVICE: A great place in Indiranagar to have north Indian food. Its a well decorated family style restaurant. The ambiance gives you a desi feel. The place is quite famous for its authentic food and that is why its almost always crowded. You might want to book in advance to avoid long queues. But even with the crowd their service quality dosen't go down and you will not have to wait for a long time for your food. The waiters are polite and patient. If you're confused they'll suggest you what to order. The crowd is also very nice as most will be with family. The place is decorated with numerous artifacts, posters and all kinds of props. I found that really beautiful

FOOD: Without any doubt I can say their food is one of the best that I've tried in Bangalore. Their menu offers loads of items. Most items are from north Indian cuisine. They have numerous veg and non veg dishes. You will find all kinds of "Sabzi's" and "dal's". We tried Kadai Paneer, Dal makhni, Mix-veg, ALoo tikki, raita and butter naan. All items were delicious. Their chef did not give any chance to complain. Dal makhni was slow cooked and tasted amazing, Mix-veg also tasted heavenly.
Overall the food was amazing and the service was also great.

I will 100% recommend to visit this place.

Absoltely loved the food here!! Heard so much about Tandoori Taal that I finally got a chance to visit the place, we tried the paneer which was outstanding and the boneless chicken biryani which was spicy but amazing.

Horrible food. Not punjabi. Am from
Jullundur.

The chicken curry was uncooked. Please only stick to the fast moving dishes, rest are very bad.

A perfect place to taste the authetic punjabi dabba style of food lassi is the best here , kebabs are must try and chicken biryani are must try and the ambience is perfect for any Indian to feel at home !! A perfect Sunday well spent !! Staff is very good and welcoming!!

Very nice ambiance and stellar service! The staff was attentive to our needs and also super quick. We ordered baigan ka bharta and it was decadent.
Will certainly return. Sunday night dinner rush. Book a table in advance!

It was the second time I visited this place and had the most unpleasant experience! The staff has no skills to manage the crowd. They asked us to wait for 20 mins and they still couldn't provide us with a seat even after 1 hour. Instead a random person who came after took the seat and they did nothing about it. The staff was very rude and extremely unprofessional. When asked about how much time to wait they didn't have the courtesy to respond.. This was without a doubt my worst experience in Bangalore. ABSOLUTELY WORST AND PATHETIC.

If you're a north Indian in the city and miss home cooked food, specially on special occasions/festivals, this should be your go-to place for ordering in. Their food is tasty and not so heavy on the tummy. Do try their saag, daal and soups!

It is one of the best places in Indiranagar to have North Indian food. Theme takes you straight to northern part of India.I love the ambience and food totally, mushroom tawa fry, prawn tawa fry, dal tadka, Chandini kebab and lassi are my favourite things off their menu. Book your slot or else you may have to queue for long.

Whenever I want to have north Indian food in Bangalore, I think of Tandoori Taal. This is the best place to have north Indian cuisine in Bangalore. They have two outlets in Indiranagar about 500m away from each other. One on double road Indiranagar and one on 12th Main Indiranagar above Nando's.

I have visited this place many times and each time I visit this restaurant, I make sure I order the dal makhni. It is to die for. Apart from the dal a few other super star dishes would be the paneer khurchan, their kebabs in general and the butter chicken.

If you've not tried this restaurant yet, the next time you feel like having north Indian food, head to this one. You won't be disappointed.

Delivery was delayed by more than an hour. Zomato was no help as the restaurant uses its own delivery service. Called the restaurant multiple times but they did not provide any information other than saying that the person has left already.

Food was cold and had to be reheated.

Terrible service

Great place for punjabi & north India Food
Great ambiance
The service was pretty good
But the food was a bit too over spiced
The mutton sheik was too chewy & half cooked
Must improve on the taste

Punjabi food that is flavourful, rich & authentic. The staff are well informed and friendly, so is the owner. Must try: Tandoor Chicken, Dal Makhani.

A good place to eat North Indian Cuisine, I was there with my family.
Its an old restaurant of them and found it amazing.
Ambiance 4/5
Food 4/5
Service 4/5

Nice place for dinner date with your family and friends.

Arumugham ensured we had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The quality of service and food both are outstanding at the outlet.
Dhwani Shah
We ordered Shakanji and Jal Jeera which were really tasty. Indian Breads were crisp and well made. Paneer Tikka Masala had a mughlai feel and tasted rich. The Gulab Jamuns were brilliant, soft with the right amount of sweetness. My reason for giving 3 is only that my husband and I were constantly thirsty after the food - which means the restaurant adds substantial baking soda in the food, and I dont appreciate that.
Abinash Sahoo
If you are in a mood to have good north indian food then definitely this one is recommended.
It all matters when comes to taste and this restaurant has scored 10/10 on taste.

Perfect for non-veg lovers.
North indian preparations are delicious.
Bit crowded on weekends but waiting for your turn is worth.
Quantity and quality both are great.
Very impressive place serving north indian food. Mutton Chops/barra, Prawns tandoori, dal makhni and butter chicken everything is delicious. The food quality and hygiene is very good.

One of the few restaurants in Bangalore which serves authentic North Indian food. I have been to this place many times in last 2-3 years and I must say Tandoori Taal (Double Road) has never disappointed me.
Even though space is small it is well maintained, staff is courteous, service is also very prompt unlike many other restaurants in Indira Nagar.
Recommended dishes: Dal Makhani, Paneer Khurchan, Aloo Kalimirch.
Just one suggestion, they need to revisit their menu, if they can add some egg dishes that will be good.
Byte Trails
This place is really good to enjoy authentic North Indian food. In starters we ordered Hara Bhara kebab, Chicken dish; both were good. In main course: Daal, gravy Chicken, mixed vegetables with Naan. Really liked chicken, though vegetable dish was so-so. Don't miss the Gulab Jamun n Carrot halwa with ice cream. The ambience had a rustic touch to it. The service was little slow but the tasty food makes up for that.
Ram
I don’t know if it’s the fault of the restaurant or Zomato but their partnership starves you for eternity. For the last one hour, my food is being prepared but when I call the restaurant they say the delivery boy has started and should arrive in 10 minutes. I call them again after 15 min, status is same online and they give me the same response saying their delivery boy should reach in 10 minutes. Let me teach you some business. Please be transparent. If you can’t handle the demand and you are getting delayed then give a realistic estimate to the customer. Don’t over promise and under deliver. I’m still starving! And angry!

Awesome awesome food. Order regularly from them, tandoori chick and methi naan being my favourite.

Whenever we have visited, have ordered saag and makki ki roti along with some fine starters. The place is just super with consistency in taste and flavour. Highly recommended.

I had been here before but due to the rush and long waiting had to go somewhere else. Today i booked the table and went... Luckily we got the seat.. Felt happy. Placed our order and asked how much time will it take and the prompt response came 10-15 mins. Understandable. But had to wait 50 mins for the food. Next coming to the food. Had ordered Shikanji.. Got jal jeera and when asked said jal jeera has boondi on top. OK let it go. Then came the food. The starter was good liked it. Main course fell flat. Dal makhani was OK, biryani lacked flavor. Chicken tikka lababdar was good. Overall at the cost not a very good experience. Have had better.

We were a group of 12. In spite of it being a small place, they accommodated us pretty quickly. The place has a rustic ambience, plain and simple fashioned. The staff made sure we had everything we needed and made us comfortable.

They give a complimentary DIY Masala Papad. For starters we had Bharwan Lazeez Khumb (Stuffed Mushroom), Bhutta Cigar and Peshawari Pudina Paneer tikka. The names are different in the menu on zomato and the ones actually there, but the dishes match. Would highly recommend the stuffed mushroom and next, the Paneer tikka.

For main course we had the Lachcha Paratha which was okay. This was complemented with Paneer Makhani (best among the lot), Baingan Ka Bharta and Aloo Kalimirch. The latter wasn't as tasty as the other two.

For desserts, they don't have a lot of options. We had Gajar halwa, Ras Malai and Gulab Jamoon. All of them were good. It was a nice experience on the whole.
FoodOnly
I’ll start off by saying that I reached Tandoori Taal after checking out a LOT of places on Zomato to satiate my craving of dal makhani and butter chicken. I wish I’d gone elsewhere!
My partner and I ordered the dal makhani, murg makhani, laccha paratha and butter naan. The dal was quite average. We’d finished two naans and parathas till we realised that they’ve actually forgotten our chicken order. The waiter then rushed to get it. The murg makhani seemed like it was additionally sweetened but the sweetness was not the tart sweetness that naturally comes from tomatoes. When we told our waiter the same he argued with us that it’s the taste of “pista” and “cream” and “tomato”. He kept arguing with us that it’s the way it’s supposed to be, even though we told him we don’t like it. He could either a) get a the same dish made to our liking b) offer me another dish. After shameless arguing he finally bent in and hurriedly said that he will make it spicy and get it back, whereas that was not what we wanted at all! He took the bowl we’d eaten from and came back with the same serving mixed with a mirchi tadka. It was the same sweet gravy with extra mirchi! We sent it back and the server guy (unapologetically) recommended a dish called “murg tikka lababdar” which is apparently their speciality. The dish was purposely made SUPER SPICY (in spite?) and I’m certain that it’s not the kind that they would usually serve to their customers. It was so hot that it made my eyes water. Unfortunately we had to send that back as well and asked for the bill. Our whole meal had been interrupted thrice and our appetite was over. The bill came and they’d charged for the murg makhani, even after knowing that they’d wrecked our meal and appetite! I can’t believe that their staff argues if a patron doesn’t like the food and that they took the gravy bowl that we’d eaten from to their kitchen, remixed it in their utensils and sent it back to us. Highly disappointed with this restaurant, I’m never going here again. I would like the owner to respond asap.

Best north Indian restaurant in bangalore south
Chicken starters are mind blowing
Small sitting area but staff is courteous
Price is reasonable
Decor is nice
Must visit for foodies
Sparkles
I had so much about this place, and also great Zomato reviews, that I was really looking forward to trying it. The place is really warm and welcoming, with a village like theme. I liked this. We ordered shikanji and aam panna to drink and both were good. Then we started with the food, and this is where it got disappointed. Chandni kebabs, sounded tempting. however the chicken was not tender. The flavour was quite good, but this hardness of the chicken spoilt the experience. For main course we had murg patiala, even here the chicken was quite hard and looked like they had just used kebabs in the gravy. The roomali roti was like rubber, and not at all how soft and thin a rumali roti should be.
Rasmalai had a kesar flavour, but was not soft.
While the taste overall was average, the quality of the food was quite low. Not expected from such a premium restaurant.
Not sure if this is just a one off experience. The service was good.
Abhipsa Pattnayak
Everything I tried here was GREAT. If you are a true foodie this is the place for you. I tried mutton biryani and it was awesome. Every dish on non-veg platter was tasty. Aam pana was not that great it was too thick. Ambiance was not great.

Didn't like the service , was being asked to shift from one table to smaller table while eating with no space on the table .
Didn't expect such kind of arrangement in the restaurant.

Lip smacking good tandoori paneer Tikka. Their tamrind and mint chutney is the bomb. Loved how fresh our food was. Looking forward to going back for more

Amazing taste!

Lip-smacking Dal Makhani with Rumali roti recommended by Zomato were enough for me to decide what I wanted to order and it could not have been better. The taste, the price or the quantity, perfectly balanced as how all things in a dish should be! 😁

I have been an huge fan of this restaurant and used to visit regularly, its been almost 6 months i couldn't enter this place as i wasn't in the city. Myself and other colleagues went for lunch there placed an oreder for Chilli Paneer, special Chicken kabab, mixed vegetable curry and Chicken curry with Lussy. As soon as we started eating we felt that taste of curry of both very an nonveg was bitter then called manager he took it back and said everything is perfect, however we had to continue with bitter curry. My overall rating for this restaurant is 3.

Ambience 4
Service 3
Food 3
Cleanliness 3

We ordered Laal Maas, kebabs and kulchas with lassi - it was all so delicious. However we felt like we were being rushed because the restaurant had many people waiting for a table. Also, we planned to have dinner here thinking it was a rooftop restaurant but its just located on higher floor. Its not open air. If you're looking for good desi food in Indranagar, this is worth a visit.

I was out celebrating "Mother's Day" with my Mom and Bro when i stumbled upon this place. I should be really thankful to my stars for finding me a table here on a late Sunday evening. I was really disappointed when i didn't receive confirmation for my table reservation in their other outlet (which is just up the same road) despite having waited for half an hour. Not to blame them but the crowd was maddening. This unit is smaller than the former but luck was on my side when i decided to check for table availability when i was en route to another Punjabi restaurant.

Ambiance: Tiny yet Elegant. This place captivates you with its decor and wall art. Loved the way they have portrayed the historical paintings on their wall. Place is well lit and ventilated.

Food & Drinks: We ordered

Chandni Kabab: This was the Winner for me. The chicken was perfectly marinated with the masala, spices and cooked to beyond perfect. Highly recommended dish.

Lohari Bhatti Ki Murgh ( Tandoori Chicken ) : Another lip smacker from their tandoor, this dish will fill you with joy. Loved the char and flavor of the chicken along with the smokiness of the tandoor. This was comparatively less spicy.

Kadai Murgh Patiala: Portions of tender chicken in a not so spicy gravy with adequate mix of flavor and right seasoning.

Dal Makhani: A must order dish. This had all the key ingredients you anticipate in a Punjabi dish. It scored good on taste, thickness and texture.

Lachcha Paratha, Tandoori Roti and Butter Garlic Naan were all served hot and crisp.

The Shikanji was really light and refreshing. Not too sweet or salty.

The Lassi is as always a renowned drink in every Punjabi restaurant that you visit. This place is no exception. What a beautiful drink this is. Its served in a terracotta glass and topped with chopped almonds, pista and nuts. Highly recommended.

Service and Value: Service was good, Staff were amicable and the dishes were a total value for money even though they appear pricey. Will definitely visit them when i'm in the mood for some authentic Punjabi cuisine.

This place offers authentic mughlai cuisines and only that. Period. The food is tasty but not over the top. They should revisit their menu and reduce the spicy items. The staff was polite and the ambience was a tad bit similar to the Mughal Darbar. The place is very small and feels congested. Parking can be a problem.

Great ambience. Food was good. Had a chance to try Tawa Pomfret, Tandoori chicken which were too good.

Mutton Keema, Chicken biryani were good but not that great.

Sweet lassi and Mango lassi were amazing !!

Tandoori Taal, Indiranagar, Bangalore was the last restaurant I visited in my trip to Bangalore and it happened so because of a recommendation of a friend.

It's a nice restaurant with 7-8 tables with two large wheels (chakras) displayed on the front of the restaurant. We decided to get lunch here. As you take your seats they serve you with a complementary papad with tamarind sauce and green chutney on the side. Basically you got to make your own Masala Papad. Our order consider on veg and non veg dishes and we're to some extent influenced by the suggestions of our server. We Bagan with ordering Cheese Kurkuri (₹235) which are crispy rolls filled with preparation of mushroom and garnished with cheese on top. It feels rich but doesn't taste great. On the other side, our non veg starter was Chakori Murgh (₹290) which is Chicken Tikka. Soft and tender as well as juicy, served with some tomatoes and cucumber, it was a little spicy but nothing over board. Moving on our main course, we, ordered Chicken Biryani (₹300) and Muttor Paneer (₹250) along with Roomali Roti (₹50) Chicken Biryani was, not spicy, rather salty. It disliked it. Muttor Paneer along with Roomali Rotis went very well and the veg dishes were liked by all. To go along with our food, we ordered Aam ka Panna (₹75) and Lassi (₹85) Aam ka Panna was thick but tasted delicious. Lassi was served with some crushed nuts and was, satisfying too. All in all it was a decent experience.

Such great ambience of this place. A modernized dhaba feels. Loved the decor and the utensils they use. And brownie points for the old Bollywood songs that they play(my favourite part as an old Bollywood songs buff). Food(main course) although has scope for improvement. But overall, a must visit.

This is a nice place to have good and tasty food . It's a lively place with nice music and enough space for comfortable seating . The food was scrumptious but they could improve on service . Definitely a place to visit in indiranagar.

Placed in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. They had great service and ambience, very homelike. The food was tasty, though the chicken curry had a little bit of a strong aftertaste. The pricing is also reasonable.
Excellent quality naan and roti, rice was good as well. Great place for dinner with family.
Must try:
The garlic naan is to die for. The smell alone is enough.
The rasmalai was a good end to a good meal.

I had been to this place once with my sister and the hospitality is noticeably good.

Though the outlet is small the ambience is nice.

Now coming to the food, we ordered Murgh Ka Sula qs Starters and along with it took Aam Panna & Nimbu Shikanji.

Murgh ka sula is traditional chicken kebab served with onions dripped in curd. The tender and succulent pieces of meat with the aroma of the fresh masalas gives you a good kickstart.

The Aam Panna was thick as we expected it to be. Nimbu Shikanji waa upto the mark!

For main course we had Tawa Bheja Fry & Butter Naan.
The Bheja Fry was excellent and with added coriander and curry leaves they made it flavoursome!

Over all a nice experience being there!

Very nice ambience. Great food and service also very good.. food is not that spicy, you might want to ask them to make it for your taste. Overall starter, main course was delicious.

This place is full of flavours..the food is too nice and it always becomes my first choice when plan to go out for dinner. Have tried various varieties here in both veg and non-veg and it never disappoints.

I have ordered mutton dum biriyani from zomato sorry to say it's the worst Biriyani I have ever had. Muttons are dry and raw and the Biriyani rice is so oily that can't have more than two spoon. Only good thing was the raita.

This tandoori taal is far better than the one on the 12th main. It’s small, cozy. So service is good since there are less tables.
Food 🥘 I amazingly great. Their makka roti and sarso saag is must have.
Drinks 🥤 are all good. I go there very often with guests.

Sunday afternoon - old colleagues get-together - around 5 of us had been to Tandoori Taal. Ambiance of the place is fantastic ; seating arrangement and the decor matches the old styled north Indian decor. The starters were wonderful - we had ordered Masaledar Murgh ki Chaamp and Paneer Tikka. Both were very well made - the chicken legs with the minced chicken stuffing is a must try. For the main course - we had mutton biryani - the meat was well cooked and the quantity was sufficient for 2 of us (due to the chicken legs). With the temperature outside going berserk - Fresh lime soda, Jal Jeera and Lassi were tried out - all matched our expectations. Reduced 1 star as the Veg gang found it a bit too spicy - 2 dishes were ordered and both of them were found to be spicy - Veg Kadai as well as a Paneer dish. Personally, would definitely like to explore the menu more the next time around.

Food and ambience is what makes this place a 5* rating. Tried this place for 3 times and ordered variety of dishes every time. It doesn't fail to meet the expectations of my taste buds. Every starter be corn cigar or matar paneer tikki it taste amazing.....daal is just so creamy and melting in mouth, paneer khurchan and khubani ka kofta are dishes we generally don't get the perfect taste everywhere but here it's above the expectations. I love being here just because of the food....Service is something which is way too slow but being a regular visitor and as the place is quite occupied everytime we are use to of it. Need to have little quick service.

Like my visit to this place where I had the tangdi, aloo, naan and the pick of the dishes was the butter chicken. Pocket friendly as well. WOuld recommend the place.

It’s a small place so you have to book a table in advance. The food is simply amazing and made with lot of love. The interiors remind you of punjabi dhaba. Be it lassi, chicken curry, naan or desserts, everything was just delicious.

I read the zomato reviews and had went here for lunch, hoping to find some amazing food.
But the food here is not up to the mark. The only good thing was the corn cigars.
Aam Panna was a joke over here..the worst one.
Food here is not at all spicy even though the menu claims it to be spicy. Considering the quality of food, I found it over priced and overrated place.

Ordered items : garlic Naan , tawa mushrooms , kadai subzi , paneer tikka
Taste : not so fancy , home cook type (4/5)
My expectations considering the price was bit higher. But it was like good, but not extremely good.i have tried similar or even better tasting foods within lesser price.
May be there could be chances that we might have not ordered the perfect dish , that they are specialised in .Though I liked the paneer tikka and tawa mushrooms .the items were good .
So may be I can rewrite a review after having a non-veg dinner . so till then considering goodwill and service and ambiance it’s 4/5.

NIce decent place to catch some north Indian cuisine. The butter chicken here complements each and every roti here well. Also the gulan jamun here is very yummy. Happy about the pricing as well.

Small little place in double road Indiranagar will give you pure desi feel. Ambiance is nice and lighting will give you a pleasant experience. They have limited seating arrangement so you have to wait until your number comes up.
But if you are a foodie and want to try out some delicious north indian dishes then this is definitely a must visit place. Service was really good and staffs were very friendly.

Visit for sunday lunch with friends and it was one of the memorable dine in experience. we have tried some of their starters and main course mostly non veg. some of the must try dishes over here are:

Started will sweet lassi served in kulhad which added extra value to it. Lassi was thick and consistency was maintained. This will make you feel relaxed after waiting to get place over here.

Lahori batti ka murgh was fancy name for tandoori chicken, chicken was marinated in unique and special batti masala which is amritsari favorite. Chicken was very tender and cooked properly. Enjoyed this with their green chutney which enhanced the taste of chicken.

Chandani Kabab: Creamy kabab, chicken piece was soft and tender that it will melt in your mouth. it was cooked in tandoor so you will the taste of tandoor which enhance the taste of kabab.

Nizami Tangdi: It was extra spicy non veg curry cooked in hyderabadi style. Best part of this curry was that you will get chicken leg pieces. Curry was smells aromatic and taste delicious.

Kadai murgh patiala: This was boneless chicken curry prepared with kadai masala of royal house of patiala. chicken pieces were cooked properly and goes well with butter garlic naan.

Gulab jamun: Hot gulab jamun is mandatory to end your mix of spicy and delicious meal.

Overall, best combo of good north indian food, lovely ambiance and service. will love to visit again to try out some vegetarian options as well as other non veg dishes. Must recommended to try out some lip smacking north indian food.

Tiny little dining but has enough to give you a restaurant feeling. Well maintained small restaurant. Very good service. Had heard a lot about this place for North Indian food and their starters. Me and wife decided to order Non veg platter which made us full and we had to leave without any main course. So my review is on starters only as I did not try their main course. Starters were not upto the mark at all. Meat was not fully tender and juicy. Being a restaurant and with this price range for a platter you are supposed to provide authentic mouth watering kababs. Fish was horrible and to my utter surprise seekh was cold. Please take care of the starter quality. Thank you.

Had been here a few months back with my family. Good North Indian food and quite reasonably priced. If you happen to visit this place, you should try their Dal Makhani. It's just fantastic !!

If you are a foodie and looking for some amazing lip smacking food, then this is the place.

The non veg platter is a must try and it would leave you stunned by the variety as well as the amazing taste 😋

The Naan's are also a highlight in this place

The service is a bit slow and had to wait for about 20min for the food to reach us

Overall the place is really nice with some light music playing in the background.

We were there for a team lunch. First of all, this is a small space. seating capacity of 15 to 20. (They've another outlet near by which is spacious.)

We've ordered mostly veg stuff. The starters two different paneer based dishes were decent. Tandoori babycorn wasn't good. It's soft and lacks flavour. For main course we've ordered kadai paneer which was decent. Dal Makhni was good. Veg Biryani was bad. It was basicallly a mumbai style tawa pulao.

Overall, it's a decent place for standard north Indian food but I didn't find it exciting. A little bit more innovative menu and flavour in the dishes would help.

Amazing food! Enjoyed every bite. The place is little tiny and gets filled up really quickly. But it gives a homely vibes and the food is on point. The servers were very helpful and kind.

Ambience : 4/5
Food : 5/5
Service : 4.5/5

Love this place. Have been here before as well. Went today and finally got a chance to review it.

Being from Delhi, I love my butter chicken. This was the first place I felt had decent butter chicken in South India.

Ordered the butter chicken, aloo pepper and breads. The food was delicious as usual. If you like North Indian food. This is the place!

The only drawback is that the restaurant itself if really small and hence you can have a big waiting time here if you're visiting on a weekend.
Went here for good north indian after noting such high ratings. The place looks decent and eye catching from outside. Once inside it has an average vibe to it. Staff is friendly and well informed. Ordered Mattar Paneer, Dal Makhani and some breads. Everything tasted above expectations so kudos to the chef. Definitely recommended.

Small place on main road to have North Indian food. 90s song add to the ambience making it a good dine out experience. Taste of food was very decent with right portion of food to serve your hunger. Starters, main course were served with very small turn around time. Staff was polite and was quick in service. Good place for vegetarians who are looking for North Indian Food. Parking can be a challenge otherwise good place to try out.

Good staff
Tasty food - can improve their kadhai paneer a bit.
Decent ambiance
There is waiting during the weekends.
Little over priced for the quantity and their service quality.

We tried moorg ka soolah(starter) ,Butter chicken and mutton biryani here . Butter chicken and the starter were so good but trying biryani at this restuarant was a bad choice. The mutton in the biryani was good and cooked well but biryani didn't taste good .

Overall good experience
Comida Deliciosa
Very good North Indian food. The tandoori chicken, kababs and the the butter chicken was lip smacking and amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the food here.
