Review Rasovara - The Royal Kitchen - Bengaluru

Vikas Mathur
Food is good... Almost identical in content and form to any other Rajdhani restaurant. The main differences are better location, ambience, cutlery and slightly better service. Still in two minds whether those differences make up for significantly higher cost of the thali compared to the usual Rajdhani restaurants...

The food is great. They perfectly know how to stimulate your appetite. Along with it's delicious taste, the service is worth commendable. Also, the presentation of the food is immaculate. But the price is a bit steep which you can expect at a place like that. I'd certainly recommend to try this place out. Ambience - 4.5/5 Cleanliness - 5/5 Service - 4/5 Food - 4/5 Value for money - 3.5/5

A decent place with a good spread of dishes. One among the best Thalis available . Price on the higher side ( around 800 rupees per thali per person) but food, ambience , presentation nearly justifies the price. The staff could be a little more quick and courteous - but they have their tough days too I guess!

Ambience- it’s a nice sit out place with umbrellas scattered all over !! You’re welcomed in authentic way with kumkum Service - I loved their service .. They even washed our hands before we started our dinner ! Food - we’ve ordered Thali which started with chaas, khairi panna and some refreshing snacks . Then served with pani puri and chaat. Later got a gaint plate with all the curries, roti, 3 types of rice and Dal batti churma... Dal batti churma was so yummy. Finally we were served with delicious deserts too ! This place is amazingly delicious.

Fantastic experience! The presentation of the food is immaculate and the service was even better. The thali has a myriad of items, but nearly all of them were very delicious. At 700 a plate, it's a bit steep, but definitely worth an experience.

Located in UB city, the ambience of this place is good. The staff is welcoming and courteous. We ordered the thali. The food was good. But could be better, especially the paneer starter. It is little on the pricier side which is understandable. Worth a visit. PS: Staff might rush a little bit, serving the food too soon.

Located in UB CITY mall this Rajasthani cuisine restaurant is truly amazing in food taste. They serve you in brass utensils. They offer all you can eat meal which have lot of variety. Restaurant is well maintained and clean. Staff is also very cooperative. This is a veg restaurants.

A Rajasthani vegetarian restaurant in UB City. Nice ambience. Courteous and helpful staff. Food is served in brass utensils. Tasty food. Very lavish thali with lot of varieties. Each variety is worth eating, be it fruit juice, starters, rotis, curries, kichdi, sweets.....Felt Bengali sweets were a bit out of place in a Rajasthani thali.
vinay hm
The saga begins with starters and a authentic Rajasthani thali with approx 10 to 15 side dishes which they serve in small bowls in a big thali and you can ask for any dish n no of times, once you are done with thali, they will serve you the deserts, I really recommend to visit this place in the summer coz mango fest is going on now, you will get a chance to taste different varieties of mango dishes. Staff treat you very generously and serve the food in very professional manner. P.s: if you are not foodie pls don't plan here coz lot of food will get waste as they serve very rich food most of the times tummy will get filled in starters itself.

A soulful food where you can give justice only with starving stomach.. Each dish in thali tasting fresh and well cooked. If you are desert lovers make some appetite for them at last.

As a part of travelling job, I had Thali at so many places and this being a part of Rajdhani hotels chain and in U B City, had a lot of expectations. They are Good in service but overall food quality is OK and not so great. You can get better quality in other Thali restaurants or even in other restaurants of Rajdhani. Food quality needs improvement. Presentation of food is good

Landing up at Rasovara was an impromptu decision, and a great one at that! The starters was a welcome addition to the menu, as well as the presentation of starts and dessert in the wooden platters... the main course is nothing much different from the regular Rajdhani meal, but these additional touches are what put it a step above. loved the shot-style pani-puris! and the welcome small-sip.. dont remm what it was made of, but it tasted great! a definite must-visit

Buffet is given as rajasthani thali. You can say it similar to rajdhani. Taste is good, service is also good. For more enjoyment better to book table outside in open. Good to spend late evenings. With UB city Mall

Such an amazing food, had a wonderful time with my family. Enjoyed the 45 items being served. I still remember the taste of every food that was served here. Value for money!

I really liked this place, excellent food, good ambience. It is a bit on the pricey side, but if price not an issue you will definitely enjoy the food. I took the traditional thail, and they could not stop stuff me with food. Great service.
arun rajkumar
The starters were mind blowingly good. I would rate it better for the Rajasthani food in comparison to Rajdhani and Chokhi Dhani. The quantity served was the plus point as it gives one the opportunity to taste all the delicacies served. MUST TRY Pizza Dhokla, Thalicious, Paani puri..
Nirav Trivedi
Wonderful place to dine total around more than 36 items. Good taste..you will definately enjoy the food and ambience

Nice ambiance.. signature sign language of staff for food dishes is fun to watch .
Go for brunch as it's filling meaning skip your breakfast as there's lots to choose or try filling your taste buds .
Rajasthani cuisine . Royal style with copper
vessel.
Went there on a Sunday evening. They have different menu for evening snacks and main course is available only after 7 PM. So we ordered chhole bhature, pakora platter, pav bhaji and tea. Chhole bhatura plate comes with 2 big bhatura and a bowl of chhole. That was the best chhole bhature i have ever eaten. Pav bhaji was not upto the mark considering the portion v/s price and also taste of bhaji was too bland. Pakora platter was good but again portion was less.
Shekharjyoti Kalita
Good food. But as I am not a fan of Rajasthani or Gujrati dishes as I am not used to it..it was okay for me. But i can really sense...the quality was excellent. The desserts were more on the higher side in sweetness though.

We were meaning to go to this place for quite some time now and finally we decided to do a lunch on one of the fridays. Here’s our verdict-
Food - Definitely worth the visit when it comes to do a thali here, it is a very unique food experience with variety of fishes served at a good pace. They first start serving you with varieties of chaat/appetisers which includes ( Panipuri, Dani vada, mini samosa, veg sheekh kebab, dhokla - these are all miniatures but, packs quite a punch! Taste wise Dahi vada was the tastiest, all the other dishes were just allright, nothing out of the world.
The main course includes 3 types of sabzis, rajma daal, 3 types of breads ( Roti, rotla and paratha- This was very tasty and filling!)
2 types of daal, servings of daal khichdi, plain rice, vegetable biryani, daal baati churma, kadhi, buttermilk and as accompaniments, you also get servings of 4 kinds of pickles, papas and cucumber and carrots salad.
The dessert is the last leg of the servings which includes, chocolate rasa malai, carrot halwa, jalebi with Rabri, kheer, kamalabhog.
Now all these dishes are serviced in miniature cutleries, which means though you end of tasting a lot, but all in a small portions, however, word of advice, less is more here, you will end up eating more than you have accounted for. So choose wisely.
Taste wise, I was not that impressed as they have customised everything as per the global taste buds and thus you may not get the authentic taste.

Customer service- Good! They can smile little more.

Ambience- They have indoor and outdoor seating capacity, we were seated indoor. The wooden floors looked very shabby
The washroom is not poorly maintained

Value for money- It’s an expensive place for veg food. 1500 for 2 people which excludes tax

I had heard a lot about this place, about the food. But this place turned out to be a huge huge disappointment. The service really fails when there is crowd. Management fails miserably ab managing. We were told to wait 30 minutes and were told that we'll be called, they maintain a register to show the waiting list but we could see people just walking in after us and occupying seats, we waited for 50 mins seeing people coming after us occupying the seats. When you charge so much for the food its not jist the food but the service too that people pay for. On top of it the food quality was also not upto the mark. I am from Rajasthan and this is not how Rajasthani food tastes like. Definitely not worth the hype. Rajdhani or NH8 are way way better in terms of food and service.
Navin
There is lots of variety starting from welcome drink, starters, main course, deserts. All dishes are tasty and good. Unlike other outlets, here they don't rush to serve you and you get some extra time to eat and enjoy their food. Definitely worth many more visits

Rasovara one of the luxurious thali restaurant, located in UB city Benglore. This restaurant serves traditional Rajasthan, Gujarati dishes which are authentic in taste. The service is much appreciated. The class way of presentation steals us. They serve different verity of welcome drinks, lassi. And comes the starters which includes kachodi, dokla, dal bhati churma, pani puri and few more dishes. Main course is loaded with verity of subji, dal, kadhi, gujarati kadhi, kichadi, pulav. Finally deserts includes many gujarati sweets like besan ka laadu, kaaju katli, churma and many such.

The cost is little higher and the experience is mind-blowing. You definitely feel the royal treatment. Rasovara is also known as Royal kitchen restaurant. Must experience restaurant in Namma Bengaluru.

I really loved the way i was welcomed. They way the treat u is the best part.Food is very rich and heavy..I liked the speciality of the thali and the good behaviour by the staff.

Rasovara The Royal Kitchen its one of the best restaurant located in UB city bangalore . The staff and the service is tremendous . The variance of the menu hwre is just impeccable 💜
Had been here on new year we had a family get together the way they managed a group of 32 people was also amazing. The staff was so understanding and quick in service .

We went on a Sunday brunch with family. They do not serve à la carte during lunch, only the thali. But there was so much of food. Literally got food coma. Also they serve variety of mocktails like Rose lassi, kesar lassi, lime water etc etc
Vijay Chand
A sumptuous lunch with a wide spread of dishes. One among the best of Thalis in Bangalore.

A Monday evening and it was a full house... no surprise there! Each dish is so perfectly prepared and served with a smile. Definitely the most luxurious food I've eaten in Bangalore and really great service. Make sure you eat each dish in small portions so that you can enjoy every single one of them. It really is a meal to indulge in.

A nice Indian place. We were here on a Saturday afternoon. It was thali only lunch. The rajasthani variety was amazing! There were atleast 10 sabjis and daals. Desserts were great too! :)

The food over here is overly priced but in proportion to the quality is sucks . Pls dont waste ur time over here it's a waste of money instead look out for better options

This place replaced the Rajdhani restaurant in the UB city eating area. It served very similar food as Rajdhani, both in taste and quality, with a slightly different presentation, which was more like the Sattvam restaurant.

About the food, I liked the starting jeera aam panna drink, dal baati churma and cylindrical samosa. Sabjis were average. Special mention to biryani! Overall decent food. Also as it was a weekday lunch, so the place was nice n peaceful.
Shraddha Goyal
Very good for family dinners, this place specialises in Veg Thaalis. With 10+ items in a Thaali, it's like a royal feast and an experience you should never miss

Rasovara was in our to go to list from very long time, finally decided to head out for my wife Birthday party.

There are 2 options indoor and outdoor seating, we preferred outdoor for their candle light tables and peaceful atmosphere.

For starter we ordered Chutneywala paneer tikka, Bharva mirchi wada and spicy lemon sharbat. Liked mirchi wada and mint chutney accompanied was perfect. Paneer tikka was as usual with nothing unique.
In main course we ordered khada masala paneer, dal makhani, phulka(it's a deal here 😉 In 80Rs. 6 mid size phulkas), lachedar paratha, masala kulcha and Biryani. Khada masala paneer was good and masala kulcha is authentic north Indian style which is rare in Bangalore. We skipped dessert as we were craving for some ice cream.
Overall good place for authentic taste and quality of food. Would love to try their thali once.

5 min to 7. I was refused to be served gol gappas. Staff was extremely rude and had no clue about the menu
Jayaram Karthik
Mr Joseph apparently the Manager of the restaurant was so impolite and harsh, it left us pretty shocked. Despite calling for him atleast a couple of times, he refused to attend to the issue. Will take the effort to bring this to the notice of Mr Ajit Nair - CEO of the chain.
Sonal Khemkas
A place where I would never like to go or suggest someone to go.
I had gone with my family and they had put my head and my family expectations down.
Roti wa served like they are giving it to the Dogs. And paneer sabzi was also tasting like a sweet we then ordered paneer tikka which was also not at all good.
Manager was not at all intrested to listen our complaints.
and the Dishes are over priced
please be careful if you are selecting this outlet
Ashwini Kamath
I absolutely love this restaurant! Delicious food in unlimited quantities and great variety. Some of the items are very cutely presented -- like the biryani and the pain puri. The place is always crowded though so that's a little annoying but I love having lunch here, it's a very unique experience.

I had visited with family while their one of a kind Aamlicious (Mango) festival was going on. It was a truly authentic royal Rajasthani meal experience in Bangalore and their kind hospitality is noteworthy. The entire experience was delightful, right from the traditional Indian welcome, to the multi course menu to the closure of the meal.

The food is delicious and they served a wide variety including an array of welcome drinks, starters, thali containing many varieties of curries, biryani, phulkas, rotis, parathas and yummy desserts. I thoroughly enjoy a meal at this restaurant.

I had gone with lot of expectations for Rajasthani Food. There is just one word to describe it- Horrible. They don't know how to make Bati. For a Rajasthani restaurant it is a shame. Dal and Gatta subzi were really bad.

So I can write that they serve the worst Rajasthani food which I had.

PS: I am a Rajasthani.
Gurdeep Kaur Tuteja
The most impolite servers
Who haven't been trained even how to ask if the customer wants anything.
During Fasting, we were served stale, cold, gone bad food. Even the fruits served were of precious day. We requested for some pomegranate pearls for the kid. How smartly, the waiter brought a bowl of rotten pearls and kept insisting it was deshelled just now. It was smelling and had rotten pearls all over. To add, the Upvaas thaali food was horrible. We went all the way just because of last year's good experience and left the food as is, paid for the whole of it. How rudely they were asking, aur kya chahiye! Most of the waiters knew we are leaving without eating, still the manager didnt bother to come and check. This is a scene on a non rush weekday. How can you serve wrongly atleast for those who are fasting??

I feel this is an overrated place. Not worth the cost in terms of satisfaction. It has this all traditional theme. The staff are bit arrogant, don't cater to customers, just monotonously keep serving what they have to serve just for sake of it. A whole lot of items will be served, few were good and rest average. Average experience, good to try once. They do offer flavored lassi for extra cost, my advice, please don't go for it, it's nothing extraordinary, it's pricey and you will not be able to finish it after that sumptuous meal.
Sreedevi Sundararajan
Ordered their majestic thali and it had all the items mentioned. Aloo, paneer were mixed sweetish flavor whereas the greens kofta gravy was spicy. Loved their sweets. Still wondering the use of ketchup in the meal. Rotis were smaller in size comparatively. Basmati rice was flavorful and it was a good veg thali to relish.

Best Rajasthani thali in Bangalore, good Ambiance and service, so many varieties, Starve before your meal and skip your next meal, enjoy pure veg

This place is situated in lavell road in UB city, The place is known for their Rajasthani cuisine the place offers a vide variety of Rajasthani Sides and one should try it out the view from the outdoor dining shall be pointed out and be taken a note off.

The mouth watering indulgence galore. The majestic thali at @rasovara_theroyalkitchen is treat for the eyes and a feast for the stomach with a mix of relish flavours of mango.

Authentic food like a true royal kitchen. Yummy rajasthani food with the right flavors in every bite. Amazing hospitality

I always order Majestic Veg Thali.
Food is really good, tasteful, aromatic and fresh.I have never received repetitive items.Price is pretty reasonable for the number of items you receive in Majestic thali. On top of that zomato discount makes it more affordable :DOverall, very good experience!!
Km. I.
Very average - they served their starters all in a bed of ketchup. Very odd and totally killed the flavors. The rest of the food - thaali, desserts etc were all very average in taste. Would definitely skip this and go to some other Rajasthani place. EXCELLENT service though!!

Finally visited this place after reading some good review on the zomto. I will be honest with my opinions on this restaurant:

If you are looking for some decent lunch option this is good place to visit. I had earlier tasted rajasthani/gujtati food at Maharajah Bhog(now closed), so I knew the menu options and process. Any restaurant I visit my first parameter of assessment is cleanliness, I must say they have maintained this place very neatly and even staff pays attention to hygiene and cleanliness. Food quality is good not spicy, salty, tangy, less in masalas in preparation. They serve 5 different curries, 2 different Kadi and 2 different dal's, these are unlimited you can take more. Two different rices, 3 different rotis, 4 sweets, I must say disappointed with sweets very less options and not that great taste. I recommend anyone to sit inside the restaurant Hall, don't sit outside as you will be disturbed by sunlight or rain or wind. In my views not authentic rajasthani place, but a good place to enjoy the UB city vibe.

One advice to staff be little attentive for customers.
Namitha Hebbar
Worst service. Had to wait at least 10 to 15 mi s for each course. We went at 1.15 on Sunday and was out at 3.40.. very bad and slow service. Food is average. Initially we thought it was because of rush after 2.30 hlaf the restaurant was empty even them they took long time to serve us.
Megha Mittal
Lovely ambience, great place to have a wholesome dinner. It made my evening. What an open windy atmosphere with mouth watering, delicious & traditional food served by polite waiters. It was an experience to share. Food quality is upto the mark. Taste is super delicious. Variety and spread of the thali is also too good. You'll feel like eating everything even when you're full. I dont have a great appetite but i tasted everything. Go with your family or friends and savour the taste of traditional india.

After making us wait for 1 hour- the receptionist had no clue about managing tables. The guests around us were waiting who had booked one day before too (via EasyDiner & Zomato).

There was a family- who had booked a table for 80- instead of giving them a separate section/ their guests were walking in groups of 4-5, which was really annoying.

I had visited this place with guests from outside Bangalore and we had no clue what’s happening. Super noisy and chaotic place, there were people all around everyone’s table. There should be a bouncer who doesn’t allow a guest beyond a point - who cannot enter the seating zone without a table confirmation. Hospitality was getting compromised for guests waiting, guests who are eating and to the management who were at the receiving end.

When it comes to food- this place is owned by the owner of Rajdhani chain of Indian Thali franchise. Grand crockery and service on the table was only saviour- but its the exact replica of Rajdhani, (slightly expensive INR 800 per head ~ $US 12). For the price of Thali at Rasovara- I expected fine-dine impeccable smooth experience right from the meet & greet till the guest leaves the restaurant.

Dishes served in the thali are no different from parent Rajdhani or Kesariya (in Bangalore). Taste is also exactly the same. The parent Rajdhani’s are far better organised and guests are handled far better. Please save your money & most importantly your time and experience.

Totally unorganised, chaotic place. They should move away from the current location to a huge space where guests are seated little away from each other and crowd can be managed more professionally. ‘The Royal Kitchen’ in its name is getting killed literally, thanks to the management for letting us down.

I feel pity & sad for the team& chef who makes great food but they should understand how guests are handled and received at this restaurant. Even a fish-market is more organised than this restaurant.

Rasovara:
After fusion theory, #2 recommendation in category of PureVeg in Bangalore. Indeed, over priced but understandable as it is situated in UB City. A traditional Rajasthani staff served us with lovely smiles. A perfect place for family dinner. Cool breeze will keep your serotonin high over here. Reviewing few dishes on rating basis,
Tomato Dhaniya Shorba: 4/5
Hara Bhara Kabab 4/5
Veg Spears 4/5
Phulka 3.5/5
Kofta Rahra 5/5
Prosperity Rice 3/5
Jal Jeera 1/5

Service: 4.5/5
Ambience: 4.5/5
It may be a bad day with their beverages or some specific items, other wise over all for food I will rate them 4/5. I felt some of the dishes were slightly undercooked and so the real flavour didn't come out properly. Anytime Yes, If you want Good Ambiemce, Great atmosphere around, Open area feel, good food with fat pocket; -This is for you; Pure Veg Guys out there!

As close to authentic the Rajasthani Royal experience as you can get in the heart of Bangalore. The whole experience - from the welcome, to the service, to the hospitality, the food and even the hand wash is pure and authentic Rajasthan.

The food is amazing, drool worthy, gheelicious and highly memorable.

A goto place to take my overseas clients and everyone of them is more than impressed. Weekdays are the best for a relaxed dining experience. Love it anyday and been there so many times and still not bored.
Food Ecstasy
Good food. Good atmosphere. They are decently priced and the crew is friendly as well. They have a great Thali option. The food was great except that the starters weren’t served hot, but that’s okay. Good family dine place.

This restaurant is your fix for evening tea and snacks! They have an amazing combo offer of ₹125 with a very good cup of masala chai and a platter of mix pakoras. They were very kind to oblige us with replacing one item in the mix platter. I am tempted to try their thalis next time i visit.

Cuisine Rajasthani Gujarati
Recommended for family couples and friends
Price 3/5
Food 3/5
Ambience 3/5
Mocktails 4/5

Dishes tried Royal thali
Overall this place is highly overrated.
All the dishes are average in taste, nothing that blows your mind away.
There are not too many Rajasthani and Gujarati thali places in bangalore hence this place is doing quite well but overall the food is average.

Worth one visit if your in the area.

Make sure you don’t have breakfast if you’re going there for lunch. The size of the plate is huge! Little katoris of dal, veggies, kadi etc fill it! The khichadi is yummy. It is an eating experience - right from washing your hands in warm water poured from an elegant jug to sampling some great vegetarian food. I say sampling because there are so many things to eat! Worth a visit.

Visited their restaurant for dinner on Friday night. Their amazing Aamlicious festival was going on. You should visit here and try their aamlicious dishes.
We had their special aamlicious buffet which includes welcome drinks, welcome snacks, starters with full of raw mango, aamras, panipuri, mango puri, mango papdi chaat, thali containing 12 diff varieties of veggies & curries, veg biryani, litti chokha, chapaati and the final card they opened was Desserts.
Their desserts were drooolicious including raw mango jalebi, rasmalai & mango sweet dishes.
Their staff was too kind. Seating arrangement is quiet packed but they have open seating area under the sky where you can unleash the leisure.
This restaurant is located in UB city, so we you can do shopping & then have dinner at this place, keeping in mind that u should be having huge apetite that day to enjoy their full course aamlicious meal.

This place is one of my favourite. Their food is delicious. Top floor at Ub city, a perfect ambiance. So many options for food. Totally did experience a must visit place.

Food was good, in weekend the place was bit crowded. There was no ac, in hot summer it's difficult to enjoy the lovely food. I was expecting more cleanliness from them.

Slurp slurp slurp.... CHOLE BHATURE, MIRCH VADA's and CHAI CHAI... if you craving chat please visit this place. All this on table is NON-OILY, very light to your tummy... so can indulge in guilt free summer intake.
Chole was cooked to core soft... and gravy was just perfect not that spicy or grease... and suttle mirchvadas...with chutney... loved it....

This place used to be good but felt has degraded a bit now. Only starters were good, main course and desserts were average. Food served was cold and we had to ask them again and again to get us hot dishes. Also earlier the waiters would be at your table to serve you on their own which was something good but now we had to call them again and again. Overall an average experience. Not worth the money I felt.

It’s one hell of an authentic restaurant. It actually lives by its name. They treat you as royals and make you wash your hands right there on your seat when you start and when you end.
As you can see in the pictures. There is a lot that comes for one person in one thali 😍😍 this is no new concept but the food was super delicious. Can’t help licking your fingers.
Highly recommended.
So want to visit again whenever I am in Bangalore next.
Went here for dinner recently. We had the thali which was mango based given it is mango season. The starters were excellent. The main course tasted good but was a tad too heavy to be able to enjoy everything. We were all completely full by the time we got to dessert. Taking away one star as the aam ras (my fav item typically) was sour and they served a very tiny portion of it. For those who are not aware, this is basically a slightly upscale version of Rajdhani.

Yesterday we had come to Rssovara to enjoy the mango festival and we came back with utter disappointment.

We saw some videos and pictures on zomato and after so much hype about this festival we decided to visit you on a sunday night.

After we got our table, below dishes which were served:

1. Welcome drink : Only one drink - Aam Panna instead of all 3 drinks including Shikanji, Thandai

2. Starter : Basic dhokla, Paneer, Veg Ball and Veg roll instead of Mango maharaja dhokla, Achari methi Tikki, Kairi vala sev roll.

Aam ras Khandavi was not served at all.

3. Chaat : One papri chaat instead of kairi khasta kachori chaat, palak mango chaat and aam dal dhokli

4. main course - we did not get Aam Sukha methi papad, dum Arbi masala, keri pulav and keri methi Thepla

5. Desserts : We did not get Mango Jalebi and ras malai

To remind you, all the above mentioned missing dishes were served to others few days back as we can see in older Zomato reviews.

No words for the thalis here. One of the only indian places in UB city. I tried the Aamlicious thali and must say I was in awe with the mango inspired dishes. If you love mangoes then this is the right time to go here! The mango chats were just too good. Mango sev puri and tikki puri were just perfect, I so wish we could get that all the time. The welcome drinks were just refreshing. Aam Panna, Strawberry cooler, Mango thandai. You'll be spoilt for choice! Then came the starters, and the main course. I liked the breads with the different curries and vegetables. Then comes the array of desserts I wonder if you'll have space for them! I was too full to taste them too, tried the luscious malpua. Everything was just too tempting.
Their hospitality was just the way I'd expected. Great staff always eager to help you out. Also cheers to the manager there, very friendly and tries to do his best.
You better not miss this!

We went for lunch at UB City while shopping and came across this place. It is situated at the open part of the mall so there is no AC available. The place is still comfortable in the summer heat. The place was packed with people and the ambience was vibrant. They expertise in Rajasthani & Gujarati cuisine which is strictly vegetarian. The prices are affordable and we went for their lunch thali which is seemed very popular since everyone there was opting for it. They had their Mango festival going on which was more exciting since I love the summer fruit.

Starters - They had loads of starters and I absolutely loved the mango khandvi, Anjeer Paneer Tikka and Sabz Cheese Shammi Kebab. The starters were the perfect one biters and full of flavour.

Chaat - I really liked the pani puri and the mango dal dhokli which had a good balance of sweet, sour and spicy.

Main course - This is where the fun started. The thali is so big that it will put the most foodie person to shame. The thali had 20 variety of items to eat from and it was so good. My favorites have to be Dal Bati Churma, Pepewale Chole, Paneer Birista Korma, Dal Tadka, Veg Biriyani, Moongdal Khichdi, Phulka, Pooranpoli and Amti Dal. The taste was on point and the spice level just right. The balance between the sweet and spice was great and they happily refilled any item required.

Drinks - They had a variety of cool summer drinks inspired by the season of mango. The mango lassi was topped with pistachios and was delicious. The mango strawberry cooler was super soothing and went perfectly with the food. The pudina chaas was great as an after meal drink since it helped cool down the spice level of the main course. They also had a various chutney, pickel and papad to accompany the dishes which made it perfect.

Desserts - I am not a dessert person but this place is an Indian dessert heaven. I really loved the aamras which was fresh and the dry fruit halwa with the malpua with mango rabdi. The sweet level was pretty high and tasted delicious.

Overall for the price, the amount of food is huge and the variety is mind blowing. Being a non-vegetarian food lover, I was apprehensive but I surely enjoyed a lot. The food tasted fresh and authentic and the staff was extremely helpful and polite. It is evident that they enjoy serving their customers to the fullest which I found nice. The food and service is done with extreme attention to detail which was unlike A lot of other thali places in the city. A definite try for everyone who is searching for delicious Indian vegetarian in Bengaluru. Thumbs up!
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the mango-special thali at Rasovara, UB City, along with my family. Boy, did we love it or what?!

We had an absolutely delightful experience at Rasovara, being served over 20 varieties of dishes made using mangoes in various forms. The sheer grandness of the meal awed us, the taste of most of the dishes wowed us, the hospitality with which we were served warmed our hearts.

The food here is definitely a few notches higher in taste than several other thali places in the city. I loved most of the mango delicacies we were served, as part of our meal.

This is not the sort of place where everything is dumped onto your plate at one go, but course after course is served to you with a lot of care and attention. The team makes sure you savour the mango-filled delicacies, the way they are supposed to be savoured. Kudos for that, Team Rasovara!

Its like a premium Rajdhani. Very good service. Food is great. Its too filling. Well maintained and friendly staff. Will definitely go back. My all time favourite is their Kichdi.

Walked into Rasovara on a date and asked to serve vegan items in thali, they refused flat at first but manager was sensible enough to tell me the few vegan options which they do not make in ghee or can do without ghee. it is sad that Indian restaurants like Rasovara is not willing to provide cruelty free options.

The hospitality is excellent. One person is always around to see what the customer needs. Mango thali is very tasty, there are about 7-8 mango based dishes. A must visit 😁

If you want vegetarian food and prefer less spice then this place will make you happy. Lets go point by point-

1. Ambience- You can go here with your family or on a date, the ambience will not disappoint you. Restaurant has an open space where you can enjoy the hussle of ub city mall. It also has a closed sitting arrangement which will give you family restaurant vibes.

2. Food- Food here is less spicy yet not bland. Ala Carte menu have limited yet quality options to choose from. Main attraction of this place is Thali. Every component of thali, be it starters, drinks, sides etc. is very thoughtfully prepared. Overall good taste and interesting variety.

3. Hospitality- Hospitality here is great. Staff is always attentive and courteous. They also do not take much to time prepare food inspite of the rush.

4. Money- Being located in a prime place one should not expect this restaurant to be easy on pocket. The price goes at par with any other good Bangalore restaurant but not more. A group of four should expect around 3k for appetizer to dessert order. Thali is expensive but they do serve a lot much in Thali.

Hope it helps

Thanks
Ashay

Came here as everything was closed in Bangalore because of elections. My first impression was really bad, the staff was unfriendly, not at all concerned and the waiters were too confused that they weren’t able to manage the customers

I went ahead with vegetable cheese balls. Really bad. Wouldn’t recommend it at all. Second starter was the “ Veg kebab platter which comes with a spread of hara bara kebab, grilled cauliflower, grilled corn, veg seekh and paneer tikka. The hara bara kebab was too dry as well as too cold. The grilled cauliflower was too spicy for me. I coudln’t taste it because of too much spice in it. The veg kebab was really good. It was too soft and had a great taste to it. The grilled corn was also really nice. Really crispy and a good taste to it. Out of all the five starters, the best one was the paneer tikka. Really soft, had great smokiness to it and were flavoured right according to me.

For the main course I went ahead with paneer lahori, Daal bukhara and Aloo angare. The paneer which was supposed to be lahori was too sweet. The daal was hopeless. No taste to it. Aloo was still fine. They were also a little sweet but at least better than the rest. These 3 dishes were accompanied with Masala kulcha, fulkas and naan’s. I had masal kulcha in which the stuffing was fine but they turned out to be cold.

Overall. The experience has been bad. The service isn’t good. The food is way too over priced. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
It's an absolute delight for Vegetarian food lovers. I tried the Thali and it turned out to be a great choice, they offer a wide range of things and all the dishes are unlimited. The service here is good and ambience is great (it's UB city).

The food is better than other Rajdhani experiences I have had. That said the service lacks a lot. We had to asked the server multiple times for service and at the end they asked for feedback - when I rated the service low - the guy who served us picked a fight as he was upset I rated him low! Never going there again.

One of the best rajdhani restaurants in Bangalore. I Had been for dinner.I opted for Thali rather than ala-carte.

Starting with welcome drink and 4 starters. All starters were good.I liked Punjabi Papad roll which was excellent. Welcome drink was good too. Then I was served with Panipuri, Chaas etc.

Coming to main course I was served with Dal Bhaati Churma which is signature dish and was lip smacking in taste. Followed by Indian breads Roti, phulka , Paratha etc accompanied by dishes made of panner, Aloo and others. They also served 3 varieties of kadi.Followed by matka Biryani, khichdi, Steam rice and curd rice.

Coming to desserts- Ragbogh, jamoon ,halwa were some of them which I Remember all were good.

Excellent location, Good ambience. Great food and friendly staff.

Full confession. I don't eat vegetarian a lot. But I went to this place for a get together.

I was told to expect a ROYAL treatment and I must we did get it!

We ordered the thali. Little did I know I will be bombarded with dish after dish.

The handwash was done in a traditional style with tasht-i-nari. We were given aam panna and kesari, followed by chaats. Then we were treated with rotis and different curries.

Biryani arrived in a small clay pot, followed by khichdee.

I must say by this time I was feeling little light headed due to food coma!

The last course was the desserts. We were jalebis, shahi tukda and other assorted sweets.

Overall a great treat and a unique experience!

Fair warning though if you are driving back - the meal will leave you with heavy dropping eyelids!
Searched for a veg buffet around Cubbon park and this was our best bet. Located in UB City, it's in the top floor of food court. Had to wait for the table and it was quite a hot day. Seating is comfy but lack of air conditioner shows during lunch.
Drinks were offered but they were out of the buffet. Cutlery is of copper with lots of small bowls. Masala chat and starters were provided together. All the starters felt like chat items. Dal bhati churma was great and variety of breads (Missi, bajra)were on offer as part of thali. Pot biryani and khichdi along with steam 🍚 rice provided post the breads.
Jamoon, rasagolla and other sweets were good. Malpua and rabri is a sweet bomb. Overall, you will be satisfied with the Rajasthani food and attention of waiters.
A royal touch to your dining, the Rajasthani cuisine served for you in the most elegant way possible. A good family dining place in UB city. Huge variety of food served and is totally value for money. The staff take an extra step to take care that your dining experience is 5 star. A must visit for all food lovers if you are in or around UB city.

Want to try some Rajasthani food. Stop by this place. This place is on top floor of UB city. Ambience is great as it’s open space with a good breeze. The thali is served step by step( check out my pics) and very yum. A foodie can eat tummy full and try all the dishes.
I would strongly recommend this place to try Rajasthani food.

Planned to go-to Farzi Cafe. But it was all booked . So had to go-to this place as it was the only place where tables were available .

I have been to rajdhani before , it looked similar to me.

They have good varieties of buffet for Vegiterians . If you are a Vegiterian and love Rajasthani food. It's a must go .

Service was awesome . 5/5.

Loved their daal bati, khichdi, veg biriyani, paneer , kheer. Malpuwa, jalebi. Starters were very good less options though .

Gave it 4 as it's a but overpriced.
Saileshshetty
The problem here is about over indulgence. Too many options where you can only taste the items. The service is fast and taste is good on expected lines . If you have to justify the lunch & go back to work , then it is a challenge .

Overall it was good. Same food like rajdhani .little better version. Staff is good.Better to add few different items to make it more better experience.

We went to Rasovara on January 1, as a nice way to bring in the new year for lunch. We had to wait for 30 minutes, it being New Year and all. At the end of it, we were seated and the buffet served. Absolutely loved the prompt service and the plethora of variety of hot food. A thumbs up for the amazing Rajasthani food! Be it the starters, the main course or the desserts, this is one place where you will love the food, would want to ask for more but there will be no place in your stomach for it.

Great job guys!

We just had high tea combo with paneer pakoda and lassi here. Both were very good. The surrounding of UB city is amazing. Worth spending money here.

Terrible management of orders, excess salt in almost every subzi, extra spice in soups like it's the last thing they wanted to cook. Really disappointed!
