Review The London Curry House - Bengaluru

Ami Rai E.
This is an exceptional spot catering to vegetarians, boasting good service. They are renowned for their exceptional presentation of food items. Securing a seat may require some waiting time.

The London curry house is a good getaway for vegetarian food lovers. Everything is done tastefully. The food is presented in a very nice way with miniaturized serving vessels etc. The service was also good, a little delayed but understandable. It is situated in a converted basement and safety is the main concern with less ventilation.

A different ambience, different menu, different taste. A must try for Whoever looking to dine differently. Food quantity is good. Located in central Bangalore, easy to access but tough to get parking at peak hours. Over all a good experience.

This is a restaurant with a visually impressive presentation and an exciting fusion concept. The quirky names on the menu add a playful touch to the experience, and the service is commendable. However, the taste of the food left much to be desired. While some dishes stood out, the overall flavor profiles seemed average and lacking in excitement. If you are looking for a restaurant with great food presentation and a unique menu, The London Curry House might pique your interest.

Yummy in our tummy! We ordered Babycorn cigars, Paneer Bao, Zatar cheese stuff naan, Cooker Biriyani and a dessert. The bill came upto 1.6k which is very affordable! We loved everything we ate. I would visit this place again and try out more things from Menu

One of the best vegetarian restaurant in the town! Loved their soups and pizzas. Starters were decent. Tried the ‘When I am feeling blue’ and ‘Sweet tales at river Thames’ mocktail. Both were tooo good. The place is a bit small and has got an above average ambience. I

I went here for lunch. Please check with the kitchen timings before going. The food was good, lot of vegetarian options. Service was good too, except for the mosquitoes and flies.

We recently visited this vegetarian restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of their menu. Unlike the usual mundane offerings found at other places, every item at this establishment was refreshingly unique and delicious. The server was well-informed about the menu and provided helpful suggestions based on our preferences. The food itself was a delight. Each dish was expertly prepared and showcased the culinary expertise of the chefs. Not only did the flavors impress us, but the presentation of the food was also visually appealing, adding an extra touch of enjoyment to the dining experience. While we thoroughly enjoyed the meal, we did feel that the dessert options could be improved. It would be wonderful if they expanded their dessert menu to offer a wider variety of choices. Overall, we had a great dining experience at this vegetarian restaurant. The innovative menu, knowledgeable staff, and fantastic food presentation made our visit truly enjoyable. We highly recommend this place to fellow vegetarians and anyone looking to savor unique and delicious vegetarian cuisine.

It's a all veg restaurant with different takes & presentations on traditional fare. The starters including chat options are quite good.

This place was on my mind for a long period to visit. I regretted not visiting this place earlier. This place is an amazing option when planning for a family dinner. The ambience, food, staff everything is just ideal. I love their fusion concept of Indian spices. Be it mocktails or the food, this place is not going to disappoint you.

Had recently been here for a birthday party where there was a buffet arranged. Fantastic food options right from the soups till the desserts. The party was an open sky event and the ambience was great. Y'all must definitely try this restaurant!
Vibha Ramesh
The place is very good. There are a variety of vegetarian food options. We loved Flower pot rasmalai and pav bhaji fondue. It was damn tasty. All foods are very unique and the serving manner is also different. The only concern is that the place should be a little more clean. Apart from that everything is good.
Teena
My go-to veg restaurant. One time I went there thrice within a week. The food, the seating, the service, the presentation is just too good. You can go with your family or friends. I'm giving it a 4 only coz there's never an empty table there. You HAVE TO wait to get a table there no matter what time you visit. They must expand the place.
Sujay Hegde
Great Starters -- Baby Corn Cigars are a must try.
Main Courses are great on presentation, good on taste.
Try to get a table that's under the awning or by the wall -- they make for the best ambiance.
Cool Rahul
Friendly staff with good service and food is delicious.

One of the best places for dine-in in Bangalore. Always a delight to visit here. Their concept is so amazing around machines... they have included that even their cutlery.

Sheer brilliance concept wise, taste wise ambience wise and amazing cokotails too. Must visit for everyone.
Ananya Chakraborty
Went there with my friends, had amazing food. It is an all veg restaurant, a little expensive, but food is very good and ambience is so lovely. Will definitely return 👍❤️

loved every dish ordered from the Ferris Wheel Chaat with dahi papdi, samosa chaat, bhelpuri placed in different bowls of a Ferris Wheel 🎡 but our favourite was the Chocolate Dome, cracked by pouring hot fudge sauce, to find brownie bites, chocolate chunks, butterscotch nibbles hardened and crisped thanks to the liquid nitrogen fuming out. Best. Meal. Ever. 13/10 Recommend.
Rachana
Chineese bhel was the best i have had till date.... Rasmalai pot was soo unique... I just love the way they present their food... Pani puri shots is a must try...

This is a great place for vegetarians and also alcohol is served here.Speaking of the ambience it's a cozy place which looks absolutely beautiful and it is also family oriented place.Speaking of the dish and plating they opt the most attractive way to present the food with great delicacy. We had ordered paneer papdi roll(must try),Pani puri ka tamasha, paneer sizzler and chocolate wind. Also they maintain secrecy of ingredients or what they're gonna present when the food names are like PTM-KARO,CUBAN TAXI etc.

Really good place for vegetarian North Indian food.

If there is any place in Bangalore which I very frequently visit then it is has to be London Curry House. This is absolutely my favourite place to go. I love everything about this place, it is a treat for vegetarians. They have carefully curated their menu. They have lot of options to choose from. The highlight here is the way the food is served to us. My personal favourite is their Chinese Bhel. The ambience definitely needs appreciation, it is so cozy and beautiful. It gives you relaxing vibes and makes you feel good. The staffs are so polite and friendly. Overall this place deserves a 5 star.

I think this is one of the best veg restaurants i have been to!!! Amazing place with wide range of food available on the menu. Food is amazing!!!

I went to this place with my family on my brother's recommendation as he used to go here regularly and we truly enjoyed our experience. The staff was very courteous and ambience, Oh Man! That just made us feel so relaxed. It was a weekday evening, so although the place was crowded, but it was calm. We ordered Panipuri shots and Mushroom for starters and went ahead with a pure North Indian menu for maincourse. Everything tasted delicious and the portions were satisfying. Overall I felt it was true value for money. If given a chance, I would surely visit this place again.
Deepika
This restaurant is one of the favourites to most of them. It mostly carries family crowd for the type of menu but also youngsters who love Modern Indian cuisine. The presentation of their food is also very good.

It's an spectacular place with old school vibes. The ambience is very chill and at the same time the food is a perfect blend of gastronomy as well as great taste. It's become one of those places you would rely on for good food.
Sumit
This place is known for its vegetarian food with pretty good presentation. Loved their jackfruit biryani and baby corn cigars. Overall, had a good dining experience.
Ramesh Sreekantan
I’m a bit surprised that this place gets such high ratings. The bhel was 300₹ and for that price you would expect something remarkable but it was quite ordinary if not bad. The cart down the street from my place does a much better job for 20₹. Then we had a chana bhatura - here too, while the quantity of chana was fine the bhatura was small and inadequate so we had to order some more bread. This was around 400₹ I think. So for about 800₹ we had food that in most shiv sagar type places can be had for around 200₹ - and better quality too. I to end on a positive note they deliver the dishes in a creative manner but not so creative to justify charging such a high price.

The London Curry house is known for its fancily named delicacies, it's amazingly friendly staff, it's delicious food and it's showy looking platter on the table. We had the iconoclastic Paani Puri, which was beyond this world. We also had the wheel of wonders i.e the desi rangila jhula chaat. The rasmallai in dahi was a unique experience. The different dishes were just out of this world. The next dish we had is the cooker ki biryani. The biryani was full of taste and was soo refreshing.

For desserts, we had the classic flower pot dessert. The rasgullas, the chocolate and the pistachio soil were a fusion of flavours.
Taste -5/5
Ambience- 5/5
Service - 5/5
Value for money - 4/5

I had honey chilli potato a paneer starter and a desert all tastes good! but price seems little higher

I love the food here, even though i'd prefer going to places with older people, I come here just for the food and nothing more and have never been disappointed.

No AC in the basement sitting but even fans are only for show. It was extremely hit. Food used to be good earlier but has become very average now. Overall an unpleasant experience

Had been there with family and had to wait for over 90 mins (despite getting there by 7-30 pm). However we did wait as we had heard so much about the place and the food. From the ambience and food quality perspective, we were not disappointed.. However the prices are on the higher side.

This is one of those places which is tough to describe and can be experienced properly only by visit. The Variety of Indian fusion food they serve is amazing. The Presentation and serving style is also great.

Tried Bahubali XL Kachori and it was as delicious in taste as heavy it looked on big plate. Order this blindly when visiting in group. The stuffing was enriched with so many ingredients, mostly on sweeter side that every bite was bliss for my taste bud. Potli chaat was one more amazing starter with taste of typical north indian chaat but served in fusion way.

chaat platter served on wheel had some yummy samosa and bhelpuri and can be tried for sure. Cheese ballls and Pani Puri shot were really yum. This place also serves some unique style pizza prepared with a different kind of bread.

Loved the nitrogen icecream and brownie chocolate in desserts. The ambiance and service is top notch and it is one of the must visit food place in Bangalore for all kind of food lovers.

Do not go here if ur planning to spend sometime talking with ur group.
They will be in hurry to send you out of the place.
By saying to empty the seats soon. And picking up plates even prior to you finish eating.

I visited The London Curry House along with my family for lunch and I must say that we had a terrible experience. The staff have no sense of etiquette or hospitality, they look sad, starved and confused. The managers are grumpy and disinterested. Though we were on time at the time slot we had chosen when we had booked a table, the staff were very lazily struggling to start business. We had to request for the fans to be operated, water to be served and tissues to be provided. The poor and slow service really overshadows even the few good things about the place. The furniture and cutlery are very poorly designed, we got an uneven table surface and the chairs were so uncomfortable to sit on for a long stretch. The plastic water bottles looked so tacky and dirty and with fruit slices inside them they looked like specimen bottles in a botany lab! The dishes had fancy names but were just that, fancy but no fun. The jhula chat served in an immovable jhula is the best example for something that is totally impractical and gimmicky. The portions served don't justify the prices. The desserts, which we were looking forward to the most, were a total disaster. The rasmalai served inside chocolate coverings were almost peanut sized and the chocolate was tasteless. The bird nest was more like bird shit with all that hard uncooked vermicelli inside the ice cream. The Tiramisu was tasteless, stale and pathetic. All in all The London Curry House like its name is a place of silly gimmicks and little substance.

Celebrated my mom's birthday here. We were lucky to find table for 12 people on a weekend. Ordered snacks and food. It was noted that more than the taste of food the service cought our eyes. Although the food here seems expensive but after experiencing the kind of service that is provided here, one can see that the money spent here is worth it. Will be happy to return here again for memories occasions like this.

The service isn't great. You don't feel welcomed by the staff and a lot of their menu items weren't available when I visited. Food is good, taste and quality wise but could have been better. It's not any different from other restaurants serving similar food at a much better price. Their ice-tea is very refreshing. Just expected a better experience for the price they are charging.

Located at the heart of West Bangalore, The London Curry House @lond serves classic Indian and Continental cuisine with a twist.

Their ambience has artworks and paintings depicting everyday life and some iconic structures of London like Big Ben and London Eye. They also have random things like telephone booth to give you a feel of London streets.

Their menu is very interesting. I loved their starters and desserts. There's was something unique with all of them. On the contrary, their Mocktails are average.

1. Three Men at the Big Den
This drink had peanut butter, chocolate syrup and heart shaped brownie tucked at the corner of glass and vanilla Icecream. Since I like peanut butter a lot, I liked this one also. But I am generally not a chocolate person neither a Mocktails kind of person, so I don't vouch for them
2. Samosa Soup
Innovative for sure but the soup is spicy so I wasn't able to finish the whole bowl. You would like it a lot if you like spicy food. I personally don't like spicy and oily food, so I will simply skip this soup.
3. Potli Chaat with Spicy Tomato Salsa
It is served on a "thela". Potli is crisp and filling is good.
4. Baby Corn Cigars
This one is fried so well that you wouldn't realise that you are eating a babycorn.
5. Angrezi Potato
Concept is good and so is the taste 😉
6. Ada Teda Nachos
A decent option for starters 👍
7. Indianized Version Veg Manchurian Ball
Served in a container which looks like an Iron Box, this is one of the best Veg Manchurian that I ever had. The Manchurian balls are soft and full of vegetables. Definitely order this
8. Cheese Corn Ball
Soft and cheesy
9. Kaun Corn
Served in chai glasses, this is also a good option in starters.
10. Panipuri Platter
Panipuri balls has diced potatoes which a bit disappointing but you get a lot of accompaniments with it like meetha pani and boondi etc. Presentation is very good 👍
11. Sev Puri Pizza Isstyle
The cheese part tastes a little weird on top of a papdi chaat but I appreciate their innovation.
12. Bahubali XXL Kachori Chaat
A huge Kachori Chaat with adequate amount of fillings inside. You should definitely order this 👍
13. Balck Currant Rabdi
This is a very innovative dessert. Even the white pot in which the rabdi is served is made up of white chocolate which shows their dedication and skills.
14. Flower Pot
This is an amazing dessert. It looks like a flower pot from outside where the pot is made up of chocolate and it is sprinkled with chocolate powder to make it look like soil. The surprise here is that this pot is filled with Rabdi and it tastes amazing.
15. French Fries
Crisp and on the point

Summary : London Curry House is an amazing eatery at Race Course Road. Do check it out 😊

Indian fusion at its best. This place serves some astonishing Indi-Fusion dishes and mocktails.

After receiving a ton load of good reviews, we finally decided to pay a visit for dinner. They all were right; it is indeed a great place for fusion food.

The mocktails were rescuers for non drinkers. Every Mocktail was crafted with adequate care and mix. Neither too sweet nor too sour, we liked WHAT A FUZZ, WHEN I'M FEELING BLUE and SHERLOCK'S mocktails.

Coming to starters, they have excellent choices to select from. Each and every dish has a unique blend of fusion to it, making it one of its kind. The size of BAHUBALI XXL KACHORI confounded everyone of us. Such a huge Kachori filled with loads of ingredients, filled with sweet curd and topped with masala vada & curd drenched rasa-gulla was such a mouth watering dish. PS- One person cannot finish it.

Moving on, the POTLI CHAT was another delicious dish. Potlis (bundle/ bale) was stuffed with masala veggies and deep fried. It was dressed with sweet curd and was accompanied by spicy salsa sauce. Absolutely delightful to eyes and for taste buds.

The special Jhula Chaat is a Chaat platter invented by them. The chats are served on a miniature version of giant wheel and it contains- Kachori, Samosa, Spring rolls and Dahi Bhalla. Also the Sweet Corn rolls, Baby Corn Cigars, Samosa Soup were impressive.

The desserts were also surprising and intriguing. The Bird's Nest was a liquid nitrogen mix dessert poured on ice-cream and other secret ingredients. It was cold, sweet, delicious and just melts in the mouth.

It is worth an experience to have if you are excited about fusion food. Cheers!! #BurpOutLoudly

In a city full of cultures and people around the world, indeed we have got places which serves the best of each region and all, but among all these, there's one spot which understands that the taste of Indian delicacy is unbeatable and that can be served at fine dine space keeping the taste intact and true to street. Such a spot is being known as London Curry House.

Talking of ambience, going with the title, the props are used here to bring the London theme in the picture with seating arrangement focusing on small groups to the family gathering. The staff and chef here are very courteous and if you want anything to be personalised they will do it right away.

Coming to the beverages, they have got some amazing mocktails mentioning Sherlock Homes Addiction - a chocolate strawberry flavoured drink which can swoop your heart away from the first sip till the last and Three Men in the Big Den - a chocolate peanut butter drink which is a delight for any chocolate drink lover, and there were few more such as Ice n Spice in London Paradise and When I'm feeling blue.

Coming to the food, there are some delicacies which I have tried and truly loved it, mentioning Desi Rangila Jhula Chaat (it got major street food elements - kachori, samosa, bhel, Dahi puri), Pani Puri Ka Tamasha (the best pani-puri you'll have in any fine dining space), Potli Chaat (stuffed with sweet curd and soft bhale in the money bag served with the tomato salsa), Bahubali Kachori which totally needs a gang to finish it off.

On the main course side, they got Macaroni Alfredo - a white sauce pasta which cheese garlic cream, Tropical Country Side Pizza - with the main ingredients as baby corn, cottage cheese, jalapeno, crispy spinach and cheese. These were enough for me to taste out in one go.

To complete the course, we have got some desserts such as Flower Pot (A chocolate pot with ras malai as a surprise element here), Chocolate Wind - a nitrogen-infused ice cream, Oreo Bwonie Avalanche with a river of hot chocolate poured on it and then you must try out the Chef's Special one - Birds Nest.

Considering all, the London Curry House is a treat for anyone who is a connoisseur of street food. Keeping the ambience in mind, the place is nice for groups and family to enjoy some exquisite delicacies together
Bakasura Forever (www.bakasuraforever.in)
Bakasura went to London recently! Haha, we mean the London curry house at kumara Krupa road!
It has a name, it has a class and it didn't disappoint us.
The ambience is very good with innovative fan, fancy lights and great wooden tables. The place can accommodate around 200 people at once. It gets totally packed during weekends. They have an amazing kitchen and a great bar.
Coming to the food we had. Bakasura ate a lot. And since the place is only veg, we didn't think twice.
To begin with we had our most loved Sherlock Holmes Addiction here. The drink is a blend of strawberries coffee and Chocolates. We totally Recommend this.
The started we started with was the Bahubali kachori.
As the name goes, the kachori is not the size of a palm but is the size of your whole wrist. It can clearly fill around 4 people. If two of you order it, then it'll be your main course too. The kachori is highly Recommended. The flavour it has is amazing. It also had rasmali inside it. Very innovative and tasty.
We then had nachos, golgappa and French fries. All of this was as usual and were great.
The main course we had were their famous pizza. The wood fire thin crust pizza was so delicious.
To finish the course we ordered 4 desserts.
The desserts were extremely good. Almost all of it had nitrogen icecream in them.
Flower pot was an amazing one with rasmali filled in a chocolate pot. Also their chocolate wind was extremely good. And not to miss, the kulfi falooda. One of the best desserts ever.
So their menu is very extensive. They have a lot and a lot of options. Do try them all.
It's Bakasura Recommended.
Must visit!

Loved the Pani Puri, sev Puri pizza isstyle, dahi Puri, desi rangila jhula chaat and the bahubali kachori 😍.The bahubali kachori was huuggeee and tasty with mad filling.

For starters we had cheese balls, corn dogs, rolls all were tasty and quantity was good.

The spicy baby corn pizza and Alfredo pasta was amazing and cheesy 💯

Coming to their crazy desserts we had the flower pot, birds nest, white chocolate bowl, sizzling brownie, chocolate wind.
Every dessert was unique and tasty.

Overall totally loved this place out was amazing. I visited London Curry house 15 days ago with my family. The food and presentation is excellent.
But I had a major disappointment regarding table reservation. As it was a weekend, I had called up the restaurant to reserve a table, but they replied no reservation accepted, it's on first come first serve basis, so I said them as it is a weekend will the table will be available if we come over? the staff replied yes. But when we reached the restaurant they said us to wait for half n hour, this was really disappointed. We had a kid with us and we were not able to wait for half n hour and I had an argument regarding the same with the manager. Its kind a disappointment if such kind of restaurant does not accept a table reservation. Management should think about this matter. Thanks.

A good place for the vegetarian customers who also would love to have a drink! The place has mix of North Indian , Italian and continental cuisine on the menu! We tried the palak Chaat, Chole bhature, cooler biriyani, buttermilk and Kulfi falooda! The buttermilk with masala was decent and can be tried. The palak Chaat was tasty and the portion was big! The Chola bhature and cooker biriyani was tasty as wel with generous portion size! Kulfi falooda was usual! The server Sushant was good and with prompt service

Sushant Gopal gave us a very good service.

London curry house is a gods option for pure veg only restaurants. The concept is mainly bringing a twist to desi food which I believe is the trend. They concentrate on giving a British outlook to desi food. Duh it’s got London in its name!!
The quality of food is good..some experiments though r better avoided. We had a paneer wrapped in leaf and grilled starter which was fantastic. The paneer was tender and tasted brilliant. The sweet corn soup was how it’s supposed to be...perfect. The chat platter was served on a giant wheel...with kachori ,samosa ,bhel, dahi balla and another variant. Taste was decent...I enjoy chats more at local street outlets! Also tried a pav bhaji dip..somewhat like a fondue...don’t enjoy my pav bhaji like that much. A baby corn dip starter was decent too. Finally ordered cooker biriyani and curd rice...both were great..the biriyani was presented well with great spices and flavours, they could be more generous with the curd accompanying it. The curd rice was good with the quality of the curd being really fresh. Overall the place is a good experience and worth going with family. Pricing is more than the conventional North Indian restaurants...but hey it’s associated with London so u gotta shell out those extra pounds, I mean rupees!;)
