Mainland china had been in Bangalore for years now , and they have many branches across the city . It’s one of the best place for chinese fine dining . I happened to visit the restaurant which is in orion mall, they have the perfect setting, overviewing the lake and the world trade centre. The ambiance of the place is amazing with traditional Chinese sculptures welcoming you into the restaurant, they also have outdoor seating if you’d prefer that. The service was top notch and the staff were kind . Coming to the food and beverages, i had the watermelon and cilantro mocktail which was very fresh and refreshing. From the starters i loved the chicken with peppers ,crispy lotus stem, corn and water chestnut dumplings and the pan fry chilli fish , they tasted really good and presented nicely as well . For the main course we had ordered the fried rice and noodles along with king prawn sauce which was also very tasty . For dessert we had their famous chocolate tomb and mango pudding . Weekday Dinner with Wife It is always a pleasure to have dinner at this restaurant and it is also very closed to my residence. We love the food and decor of this place. We can’t find any mistake with the food and we thoroughly enjoy the food. I was in a mood to eat some Thai food but unfortunately there was nothing on menu, but the Captain was kind enough to check with the chef came up with Thai green curry and rice and it was fantastic. This is what I like at this place they go all out to make the customer happy and comfortable. During our interaction with the captain we came to know that they have buffet lunch throughout the week, will definitely try out on of these days. After all the positive points need to discuss some of the points which needs improvements The menu is completely digitized and you need to enter your name and phone number to unlock the menu. We were not comfortable to share our number and the captain entered the managers number unlocked it for us. They insist to share your name and number we resisted. We were sitting very close to the bar counter and they were using a mixer to make cocktails and mocktails which was very noise. For example, even a small coffee outlets use sound proof system while using mixer, for a restaurant like Mainland China this was missing.

One of my go to place for some authentic and fine dine Chinese restaurant. So visited this place in Orion along with friends for the lunch. The ambience of the place is very welcoming along with Chinese figures infront the door and the setup of the place is beautiful. They have both Outdoor and Indoor seating. Outdoor seating with a view to the lake and the WTC. The service is very warming and professional. Special Mention to Mr. Kamal who took care of us and helped us choose the dishes from the menu and served very professionally. Coming to the food and drinks we tried Drinks * Mango Jalapeno Martini - Tangy with spicy flavored drink and was delicious. * Virgin Mojito - very refreshing and tasty. Perfect balance of sweet and sour. Appetizers * Crispy Corn Chilli Pepper - Loved it. Absolutely delicious. Must Try! * Crackling Spinach - something very light and crunchy. Dimsums * Corn and Water chestnut Dumplings - Must Try! They were just melting in the mouth. Very delicious and tasty. * Edamame Dumplings with Truffle Oil - very cute to look and tasted good. Main Course * Hakka Noodles paired with Exotic Vegetables in Chilli Basil Sauce - noodles thin and mildly spiced which perfectly went with the Chilli Basil Sauce. Sauce was cooked to perfection. * Toban Fried Rice paired with Vegetable Dumplings in Hit Garlic Sauce - this was a spicy combo. Fried Rice was tasty and the dumplings were soft and cooked perfectly. Dessert * Chocolate Dome - Must Try! Such a warm dessert with warm chocolate poured on to a chocolate dome with Vanilla Icecream tasted absolutely delicious. Overall had a great experience. Would love to visit again to try more. Ambience - 4.5/5 Food - 5/5 Service - 5/5

Delicious Chinese food at affordable rates. They have started buffet too. Book a table in advance and they will ask you what's the occassion. If it's a birthday, anniversary etc. then the cake is on them. A good place to celebrate your occasion. Staff is friendly and takes care of customer needs. They have recently introduced Digital menu card on a tablet and one can select the dish of choice and it shows the related picture of the dish. This makes it easy to select your choice. Just add to cart and the order is placed.

Pleasantly located on the outside of Orion Mall. The interior is aesthetically pleasing. You will be greeted well by the welcoming staff. They give nice pickled cucumber and carrots which you so need in the hot weather and some kimchi. They have electronic menus. The staff is polite and helpful. The food has a subtle taste and very well resembles authentic Chinese food.

Mainland China- palate of tasting some superb Chinese food The ambience is done amazingly well and suits the tag of a fine dine restaurant . This place located on the first floor easily and can accommodate around 100 pax at a time. The place boasts of a Full fledged BAR and serves up some of the finest cocktails. Alcoholic Drinks • Caipiroshki conventional - Vodka-a combination made to impress • Nutty Blue Vodkatini- Tastes more like Icecream flavour and it was good The Starters tried were- • Dimsum- a Chinese outlet has to be an expert in this and the place lives uptown its reputation • Crispy Lotus Stem with Curry leaves and Black pepper-first of its kind experience. Glad tried it and relished every bite of it. • Fish 🐟 pepper garlic -one of the must try, loved the flavours. am delighted to give 5stars for my this review for their good food and exceptional service. Visited the place for dinner last night. Ordered for soup since I am suffering from cold, the soup was Lung Fung chicken and prawn soup which tasted like the perfect food to give me little releif from cold. Prawn Hargao (dumplings) were delicate and soft and had a mild taste , the sauces given as condiments blended well with them. For main course we had Seafood rice and Braised chicken in smoked chilli sauce which were flavorful and delicious. Above all, our experience has been a memorable one. A person named Shek who attended our table noticed that I had cold and provided Chinese tea. The other stewards too were generous in their service, thumbs up..!!

When it comes to Orion mall Mainland China, it is located in the ground floor near by lake, As soon as you enter, you will notice Chinese statue, pottery. Ambience of the restaurant is dim lighting, with chinese paintings. a perfect Chinese theme. We ordered some their mocktails and cocktails, Loved the mango mocktail and caprioska. Coming to the food, Crispy Lotus stem is a must try!, I'm sure you're gonna love its taste. and zucchini rolls might be your another choice too. and Don't miss dynamite tofus, they are the best here 😍. In dumplings you can go for Thai style vegetable dumplings, or Basil flavoured vegetable dumplings, both tasted good. Starting with dessert 🤭 Chocolate Dome : After seeing and hearing about this many a times i finally got to witness it in front of me such a delightful view it is i loved the way its made MUST TRY , DO ORDER it for Desserts 😋 . Dimsums : Such simple yet unique way of presenting Edmame Dimsums and so tasty they just melt away in your mouth loveddd them . 8 treasure vegetable soup : How nice when we get to eat all the healthy veggies in a soup thats yummy as well . Exotic vegetables in chilli basil with rice or noodles is a joy to our tastebuds . So all in all i loved the whole experience especially Hospitality and the Ambience

I loved the food here. It was quite of a rush today. But the staff were really nice. Please do try the lychee drink. It was the most loved and the desert at the end was the best! We had to wait for quite a long time for our food to arrive.

I had no issues with the food..It was perfect the only issue was i was denied benefit of zomato pro.<br/>The manager said they are not accepting zomato pro at present.

Had ordered veg Tom yom soup n vegetable dumplings. Dumplings sauce had leaked onto carry bag. Tom yom soup was no where near d ones I hv tasted elsewhere. It was more of chilli powder n pepper I felt. I could feel d heat even after half an hour. Had high expectations with all reviews but was disappointed.

Ordered Hakka noodles and smokey paneer. Both the items were average. Price was very high. Price and quality doesn't match. Not satisfied with the order, I will think twice before ordering. There are more better Chinese restaurant now the city.

So this place is in Orion mall food court.Having many options for Chinese in solo as well as combos.The food is great in taste and quality.The service is also good. The only issue is how to get and reserve the place as the food court will be full during peak hours,so you might end up shading the space with few strangers.

The first time I ever had lychee dumplings and I'll go back anyday for this. So the outside of the wonton is so crispy, slightly mellow in its sweetness and then you go for your next bite - there, there is your juicy aromatic lychee!!

It's too pricey and taste isn't that great of the noodles , dimsums,and the Dumplings- too plain and bland , average for the price they charged .<br/>Sadly I got sick the same day ,and even puked everything !!

As soon as we entered the restaurant the manager showed us to our table. After that one of the staff came to our seat to attend us. I asked him if they accept Zomato gold. After he gave me the menu, I could hear him and the other staff mock us for using Zomato gold. He was making fun of us because we wanted to use Zomato gold. Well, the purpose of Zomato gold is only to claim a few offers for which we paid already a subscription amount. I have no idea why they were mocking us. I heard him talking behind us and laughing thrice but the fourth time they did it, I couldn't stop myself but ask him what was the matter. The waiter got a little uncomfortable as he was trying to come up with a story. So kindly ask your staff to not make your guests uncomfortable as it is a very unpleasant experience.

One of the finest authentic chinese restaurant. Food really tasted so different and lotus stem and cottage cheese starters were amazing.<br/>Tom yum soup and lemon coriander soup was soo tasty.<br/>Pan fried noodles with hot garlic was a treat to my taste buds.<br/>Overalll a great service, decent ambience amazing food, however little heavy on your pocket for sure.

The food here tastes great and flavours are balanced in all dishes. The service is great and the staff can help you choose the right dishes that are right for your palette. Do try their pan fried dumplings, fish pepper garlic and pan fried noodles. For desserts, you can order their honey almond noodles which is actually another name for Darshaan. Their palm jaggery ice cream is must try. Overall, a fine-dining experience that will leave you happy and satisfied.

It was a nice experience. Ask for the chilli oil, it's actually spicy. I had pan fried noodles with hot garlic sauce (vermicelli), soba like (japanese wheat noodles) and Vietnamese clear soup with chilli oil. All of them were great. Only the quantity was more and which led to me wasting food. I would suggest them to decrease the quantity. Just one of the noodles regular size is enough for 2.

I was in ORION mall and we had to take dinner nearby so Searched on Zomato and it was the only Gold offering reachable Restaurant.<br/>Staff is very courteous and thanks to Kamal who took care of us during our visit.<br/>They offered a special dish of the Day which was prepared using bombil fish, it was my first time to try this fish and believe me it was too good and must try dish.<br/>Other dish is a Pan fried noodles which was mentioned as best dishes in Zomato.<br/>Overall it’s a good restaurant.

Great food, poorly behaved staff. We visited on 7th feb. First of all, Zomato gold is not available on the full menu. In any case, we ordered shrimp, veggie dumplings and wheat noodles. The food itself was really good. Special mention to the dumplings, which were heavenly. <br/><br/>Unfortunately, at the very end of the meal, a waiter walked up to us and very rudely ordered me to give a 5 star review on Zomato. For me, this ruined my whole meal and it’s the reason for 1 star rating.<br/><br/>I love both Zomato and Mainland China, but getting really tired of rude waiters treating Zomato gold members like this.

We liked the service offered by Kamal, ambience and food at mainland. We are regular here and in the last 25 times, mainland has never disappointed.

We had been here for a weekend lunch. Ordered Crispy lotus stem for starters which was quite nice. We had ordered large quantity and not regular but the quantity which they served was very very less. It's quite ridiculous for the price they charge. For mains, we took Japanese wheat noodles. We were told that it'll be spicy but it wasn't spicy at all. It was quite bland. All in all, not completely satisfied with the lunch.

Perfect place to go for a Chinese food lover.<br/>First thing I want to mention about is the Chinese tea. It's such a refreshing drink and please try it when you visit the place. It has a beautiful flavour of the leaves. I would never leave the place without having 4 to 5 cups atleast.<br/>1. Crispy corn: wonderful veg starter<br/>2. Singapore chilli prawns and prawns in smoked chilli sauce: any prawn starter u pick is just absolutely amazing. They serve fresh cleaned prawns and lightly coated with batter. Prawns were just perfectly cooked and tasted delicious with the sauce.<br/>3. Pan fried chilli fish and fish in dragon chilli sauce: another brilliant sea food starter. The fish literally melts in your mouth. Very good quality of the fish<br/>4. Schezwan Fried rice: sufficient quantity for 2 and tasted good<br/>5. Finally chocolate spring rolls: very nice dessert. The roll is stuffed with chocolate inside. Must try!!

This was my first visit to Mainland China and I must say it was awesome. Kamal the staff was very courteous and humble. Whatever we asked for even when that item was not there in the menu he brought it to our table like manchow soup and veg manchurian. The hospitality Mainland China served us was a great experience. All the staff was so sweet and humble. Also the food like we ordered hakka noodles, veg manchurian, rambutan ice cream and manchow soup was great in taste. Rambutan icecream is a must try if anyone loves lichee fruit. Kamal also gave a complimentary desert, a plate full of brownie which was so sweet of him. The music was so soothing and the ambience was pleasant. Overall I had a pleasant dnnr with my family.

Both the service and the food provided here is amazing. When at orion, must try the dumplings and garlic noodles. Makes for a perfect weekend brunch.

Place is on the outside of the mall. You can get a table with breezy wind blowing by your side. Hot and sour chicken soup is good. They serve it with closed lid and it really maintains the freshness and aroma of soup. We tried Prawn dumplings and they were really smooth and soft. We tried pan fried noodles which were okayish. Overall it's a good place with Asian cuisine. You can always go there with your family and come back smiling!

An amazing and wonderful place where we find ourselves visit again and again. Along with the delicious food items, the courteous staff always makes it feel like home for us!

Getting an authentic Asian culinary experience in India is rare as a good dust, This place achieves it to a satisfactory extent while still having a tinge of Indian flavours to keep things interesting. The Tom Yum soup, chicken with smoked chillies and hakka noodles in mains were delightfully delicious!

Everything is just perfect here! From the food to service and ambience.<br/><br/>And I just love their zucchini spring rolls. Like have never tried better spring rolls before.<br/><br/>The staff is extremely professional and great at their job.<br/><br/>This is literally my go to Chinese restaurant. <br/><br/>Just one disappointment, the new menu doesn't really have much vegetarian option. Rest everything is perfect.
