Review Konark Vegetarian Restaurant - Bengaluru

Taste Buddy
Location is awesome, inside the Kantheerava Stadium/Sports Complex . Service is very good, fast and friendly waiters. Food was average to good, not going to disappoint you. Tried Roti, Daal Tadka, Jeera Rice and Chocolate Milkshake.

Located inside Kantheerava Stadium Main Gate and closer to Cubbon Park, "Konark Kanteetava" is an almost 7 year old restaurant. This is Part of Konark Hotels Bangalore which is known for their quality food. Over years they have become experts in culinary skills especially in this restaurant. Though all food is good here. We prefer restaurant on 1st floor where we normally go for lunch or dinner. Their starters and main course is good- especially paneer chilli. Food wise quality is good and so is the service by staff. As a family we like to come here often due to same reason. Do visit if you happen to pass by.

Great place for breakfast after the morning run in cubbon Park, good service with decent food. Tried open dosa with coffee and found it great, (not the best though)
Vishwas CR
A decent place in the compound of Kanteerava stadium, serving good food. They have limited seating which would become a problem, especially during breakfast time. Food is decent. Vada dambar was good, so was Butter masala dose and open dose. Filter coffee tasted fine too. You will get ample parking space just outside the place, in the main road. Any day, you can visit here to grab a quick breakfast.
Anand Jerome
Good hotel at Kanteerva Stadium. Self service down and restaurant on first floor. Filter coffee is strong. Very easy to miss the restaurant. It's just near the entrance gate, on the right.

If you are in and around kanteerava stadium or walking in Cubbon, and if u have parked on the kanteerava side, this is the best option for breakfast in this area They do serve all day But breakfast options are the best I loved the dosa here The service is a bit slow or rather or is self service n u have to wait for sometime, if it's crowded..good part, u have decent chairs to sit around n wait Place highly recommended if ur at kanteerava or Cubbon for walking

We loved this corner of Kanteerava that was clean, airy and had good food and quick service. It is surrounded by trees which makes this place cool just when you need a break. The prices are very pocket friendly and the portions are good. Definitely a place to go to when you want some tasty South Indian vegetarian food in a nice setting.

Great food, fast service and decent ambience. Lots of parking available to
Vibhav Kamath
This is a decent place to dine just inside Kanteerva stadium gate. We are paneer butter masala, mushroom masala, rotis kulchas and veg fried rice. All of which was of great taste and quality. The service was a little negative aspect. When we called them to take our order, they kept deflecting it to other waiters. The washroom can also be a little cleaner. Other wise, it is good place for quick snack and lunch whenever you are near Cubbon park area.
Ananya R (Passion Tracker)
Loved the atmosphere and the food taste so well. Definitely best place for dine in with family and friends. Takes time to serve the food. Try podi dosa when you visit this place.

This hotel is located in one of the prime locations in Bangalore. Less than half a km from UB City. The prices are reasonable considering the place it is located. It is normal, authentic south breakfast hotel which will definitely serve your purpose of saving expensive and worthless junk in UB City if you are planning to hop inside
Sandra
There are 2 types of dining areas. One is self service and the other is normal. Self service area is pretty affordable for everyone and taste's good. The other one also good but bit expensive side. Overall a good place for vegetarians.
Sudeep Fes
Visited Service hall , Very good service and very friendly staffs even food was very good tried garlic naan and paneer chilly , Even prices are not too expensive , And moreover It was a candle light dinner which I never expected , It was great experience
Ramesh Hariharan
Renowned quality and taste. The one and only one sandwiched between cubbon park and kanteerva stadium. Cost is on the higher side. Rest rooms available

Good place to grab a quick bite after going for a run! The food and coffee is really tasty.

Been a regular here for many years .. most of the time I have their coffee and south indian dishes and chats .. <br/>Good food and relaxed environment<br/><br/>

A friend of mine and me were cycling around the place and Dropped in to eat some really good breakfast after hearing a lot about this place. Would've loved it of we got to eat but they only accept cash payments. No cards, and no E-Payments as well. This was disheartening as all that we were carrying were our cards and mobile phones.
Swapnil Chikne
In bangalore you can surely find some very good pure vegetarian restaurants too in addition to the other ones. Konark is a good option worth considering for a vegetarian meal. Service and food was overall good.

Also known as konark kanteerava, it's a great place to catch up with friends especially if you are in a large group. We went there for breakfast -- a group of 7 people -- the service was surprisingly fast. <br/>Food: 4<br/>Ambiance: 4.5<br/>Hospitality: 5

Great food, Lovely courteous staff and management!

Come to cubbon park for a mix of activities - jogging , dog socials , sports in kanteerva and you have your quality food joint in this place . Great service , prompt attendance and nice food , ragi idly on weekends for breakfast and coffee to go with it . We ended up like many with breakfast and later lunch too after a long time spent in cubbon park
Sri Vatsa
Their seating and Ambiance is very different from the other outlets but food wise all the same. This place is a little difficult to locate but they have parking available inside. Food is pretty tasty as well.

Been wanting to go here for a while. Wish it was there when I was into 10k runs and Nike Run Club at the Kanteerava stadium. Located right next to the gate opposite to Cubbon Park. Open spacious self-service place downstairs and cooler service room with nice interiors upstairs. Efficient, friendly service and good, tasty food. What’s not to like?
Pramod Maurya
My Saturday breakfast place.<br/><br/>Vibrant place. Good outdoor seating.<br/><br/>Although self-service concept..<br/><br/>Personally like coconut chutney.<br/><br/>Crisp dosa must try.<br/><br/>Forget one crisp kind of vada.. Was good.

Please don’t go to<br/>This place ... they charge like mad .... coffee at the same place down is rs 8 and if u go upstairs they charge u 33 .... idly they charge 12 rs. and upstairs they charge 28 rs please don’t go ... they r cheating people..... in the same premises they charge so much difference ...... and above that it’s not air condition also

The ambiance is really good ,the indoor and the outdoor seatings are really good. The food was nice.<br/><br/>Things we had were:<br/><br/>1. Pav bhaji.<br/><br/>2. Peking fried rice<br/><br/>3. Brownies.<br/><br/>4. Biryani.<br/><br/>Trust me, the food was too good. The Peking fried rice was just great.<br/><br/>Food 4/5<br/><br/>Services were also really great , the people in there are quite friendly.<br/><br/>Over all a good place to hang out with family and friends.

It has a pretty good ambience and great supporting staff. They provide good service but a little slow. The food is good too. Kulcha tastes well.
Natraj Srinivas
Good vegetarian restaurant inside kanteerva stadium. Dont try the restaurant as the services is very slow.. Do the self service so much quicker.

We were just passing by and decided to stop here for a quick breakfast.<br/>The location is absolutely beautiful, there's greenery all around,so many trees, so quiet, that made my experience here even better.<br/>Coming to the food, we ordered a benne masala dosa, idli-vada and two coffees.<br/>The benne masala dosa is not to be missed, it's absolutely delicious, so crisp! The idli vada was okay, the idli was fine, the vada was not crispy at all but still, it tasted pretty good. We ended our meal with filter coffee and that was wonderful as well. Must visit!<br/><br/>Food: 4/5<br/>Ambience: 4.5/5<br/>Value for money: 4/5

Value for money! I’ve been visiting this place and the food here has never disappointed me. May it be their mini meals, the chats, the dosas - everything is made to perfection. Must go place.
Saileshshetty
A quick service restaurant with option of service in the mezzanine floor . With high ceilings & fully open at the entrance, which is facing the cubbon park gives a relaxed feeling for a Sunday morning breakfast. It is partially pet friendly because you can chain your pet on the front railing & take your breakfast there & have it .
Hiren J
Very good restaurant for pure veg food, menu is very vast and very good food as well. Staff ia quite friendly and polite. Try dal palak khichadi, and more importantly corn bhartha, less people tried it it seems but it deserves more fame.
Anu Agarwal
We had went there for a team lunch. The ambience is nice and i was surprised to see the crowd on a weekday that too for lunch. It was jam packed. They have a huge menu.<br/><br/>We had ordered<br/><br/>1. Manchow soup (5/5)<br/>2. Paneer Tikla - (5/5)<br/>3. Veg Kolhapuri - (3/5)<br/>4. Kaju paneer Masala - (4/5)<br/>5. Masala kulcha - (4/5)<br/>6. Summer sundae - (4/5)<br/>7. Fried rice - (5/5)<br/><br/>Nice place. Would visit again.<br/>

I can't remember number of times i have visited this place, mostly during Bengaluru FC home matches as this is inside Kaanterava Stadium. The taste of food and snacks, the space, the ambiance everything is as per expectations here. <br/><br/>I have tried Veg Biryani, Veg Pulao, all Dosas, All Chaat items, Coffee, Tea and Juices here and everything was upto the mark in taste. Chaats could have been better especially in quantity if we compare it with price. If you are looking for north Indian style chaats, then this is not the place to be in.
Apoorva
A really beautiful place, located at the entrance of Kanteerava stadium, and also close to the Cubbon Park. <br/>Loved the ambiance and also the helpfulness of the waiters in selection of food.<br/>Lots of variety in their menu, and also good pricing.<br/>We tried their wontons, which could have some improvements in the seasoning, spinach and mushroom noodles which was amazing!<br/>We also tried their grilled panini, which is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had!<br/>Overall loved the place.
Tanvi Nautiyal
I would definitely recommend this place as they serve the best dosa I ever tried. Butter masala dosa and Paneer Manchurian is what I ordered and honestly the food which they served was too good. Right on time and very delicious that too in your budget. Must try place.
Shahnawaz Akthar
No comparison to the one in residency road in terms of taste as well as service.. ordered for a rawa idly and masala dosa.. rawa idly was ok but the masala dosa disappointed.. it was too oily and the masala too was not that great.. service very poor comparatively.. pricing ok.. ambience was good
Jiya Rohit Makhija
Love the food, since it's a purely vegetarian restaurant enjoyed the south Indian, north Indian,Chinese Chats, desserts. They are so yum. They serve us hot, the staff was well mannered and friendly.

After the Bengaluru marathon, I visited this place as this is inside Kanteerava stadium compound. I had completed a half marathon so chose to sit at the dining area and not the self service section of the restaurant.<br/><br/>The restaurant was half full but the waiters had no clue what they were doing. We were not given water even after asking multiple times. Ordered three plates of idly vade and three sweet lime juice. It took about 30 mins to be serve.<br/><br/>Poor service, not so great food and not value for your money. I'd definitely not recommend this place to anyone.
Aruna
The waiter who served me juice had such long nails that everything else put me off.Konark special noodles was nothing special and tasted very ordinary.Just when v were getting done with one dish n planning to order t waiter got t finger bowl...lost appetite post that

Great little gem near Cubbon Park, right next to Kanteerva Stadium. Usually I'm looking for great south indian breakfast when I'm around on weekends, and this is my new favourite. No nonsense simple little place with amazing food. You pay for your food, get in line with your token for your food and then find a place to sit and eat - easy as that. I was surprised after eating why it isn't any more popular than it looked like. I'm going to visit again when around, so you might wanna too.

Went to this restaurant after a footbal match because its inside the Kanteerava stadium. The place was crowded because of the ISL match. The food was not as expected. Manchow soup hardly had any salt in it. Dal Makhani and Kaju masala was also not good enough. The only thing that was good was Masala papad and Stuffed kulcha. Because the restaurant closes at 10:30pm the staff wanted us to finish everything fast and at last we had to leave some food because there were like 4-5 staff members waiting near our table to clear the table. The service was also a bit slow initially.
Rajlaxmi
Never expected this place hidden inside a stadium to be this good. Have dined here four times in past week which already says a lot about this place. There is a huge variety of food available at this place at extremely reasonable prices. I have tried North Indian cuisine, dosas and lots of sundaes. I have left this place always feeling satisfied so I would go ahead and highly recommend this place!<br/>
Sandeep
Konark serves some of the finest food stuff.. I just love being there for breakfast every often after weekly long runs.. I just love there idli Wada sambar dosas Pongal n rice bath.. I love the way they keep up the quality of food for the kids who workout in stadium n come for food.. please keep up ur standards ..
HoogaTheFoodie
you get a lot of varieties of dosa here! And idly! The white chutney is very yummy and spicy too! Loved the food here today! There is a dog park nearby . You can visit that place and have your brunch here :D

Nestled amidst all the hustle bustle and greenery in a discreet location is this restaurant. Ample space for parking welcomes you. <br/>The interior goes well with the location. We were here after the morning walk in Cubbon Park along with my colleagues at work.<br/>Coming to the food, we had Idly and vada in the first round and masala dose in second round before finishing it off with a filter kaapi. The idly and the vada were normal fare, but the chutneys ensured it was apart from the competition. The chutneys were spicy and gelled well with the idly/vada combo.<br/>The masala dosa was a bit low on salt but the chutneys and the sambhar saved the day. The kaapi was the star of the day and stood out. <br/>Overall I will recommend this place.
Raj Dev
Very very slow service. They open the service section on sundays. Half and hour to get 2 dosa. Go for the self service much faster and cheaper. Food is ok though..

So we came here today for lunch, the place was packed.<br/>We got a table in 15 mins, the service here was a little slow I must say.<br/>The ambience is decent and better than what I expected being inside kanteerva stadium.<br/><br/>We ordered :-<br/>- Onion uttappa<br/>A little oily but tasted good.<br/><br/>-Dal Kichdi<br/>This was better than I expected, good quantity of food for the price.<br/><br/>-Schezwan rice<br/>This was average, not the best. Lacked some Flavor.<br/><br/>-Mattar sabji gravy<br/>This was surprisingly tasty and good.<br/><br/>-Mango milkshake<br/><br/>-Lime soda<br/>The best thing is he makes it in front of you. Asks you how much sugar/salt you'll need. This was nice!<br/><br/>-Tripple schezwan<br/>It was decent.<br/><br/>The quantities here are really good, value for money.<br/><br/>Do eat here if you want to have a good veg meal.<br/>

It's a go-to family place for us simply because of the location and the fact that we get parking easily. <br/><br/>The food isn't great. North Indian isn't very authentic but tastes nice and the South Indian is just sad. But it's still okay and we definitely like the paneer salt pepper - that's our favourite dish here and we prefer eating this here than anywhere else. <br/><br/>The self-service section is absolutely appalling in terms or food and staff friendliness. You're better off going upstairs. <br/><br/>Overall<br/>Ambience - 3.5/5<br/>Food - 3/5 <br/>Service - 3.5/5<br/>Value for money - 3.5/5 <br/>Child friendliness - 2/5 <br/>Will I go again? Yes (namely for logistical convenience) <br/>Will I recommend? Maybe. It has its positives. <br/><br/>

This place is my go to place whenever I love to hangout with my friends in the evenings! Located at the entrance of the kanteerava stadium, this place has its own charm, usually filled with the athletes who come to to practice ! I personally love this place for their chats and filter coffee! Filter coffee is one of the best ones you can have in Bangalore priced at less than 10 rs! The chats here are excellent as they use sprouts for filling and a generous amount of curd which is awesome! I also love the pav bhaji which has a really good taste with the butter and onions sprinkled on top of it! The dosas served here are crisp and tasty which goes well along with the chutney! The food is very economical when eaten in the self service but a lil costlier in the 1 floor with AC.<br/>Taste-5/5<br/>Ambience-5/5<br/>Value for money-5/5<br/>Overall rating-5/5<br/>

Location is in the centre of the city, beside the kantheerava indoor stadium. Same gate entrance. Ambiance is just okay, no air condition. Nice seating arrangement, spacious. Menu is very good with lot of variety in every section. Tried pastas, noodles, roti- dal. Sizzling brownie was one amazing thing . Just above average rating for the food. Staff and service is fine, no complaints.
Anusha Manjunath
I have been to their restaurant in Commercial street. Expecting the same level of food, I visited this restaurant in Lavelle Road. The quality and tasty of food is unmatched with Konark in Commercial Street. Their ambiance is better than the one in Commercial street, less crowded. But the food is not great. I was disappointed with this restaurant.
Santhosh Joseph
prime location, neat and clean, fresh food, good for breakfast, greenly environment, self service and table service are available...open kitchen,<br/><br/>
Nandan
located in a prime location and people stop only when they notice it... good service and ambiance... greeneries around... limited menu.... can visit for a good north Indian veg food... service is quick
Vijayanand Raju
Pathetic place and to think these idiots are in Kanteerva Stadium, their Vada was so oily, it was dripping and when asked to exchange MF's act like their life depend on measly Vada, obviously we didnt care, but they got one waiter and then another and it was turning out to be a World War 3 when we decided enough is enough...
Girish
I was there to witness a football game of Bengaluru FC at Kanteerava Stadium. After the game I went to Konark restaurant and had Roti with Veg Raja Rani. Few Roti's were over done. Veg Raja Rani was delicious nonetheless. It was served on a platter and had Palak Panner and Tomato gravy based Veg Subzi, both positioned adjacent to each other. Some sort of a duet or a Jugalbandi perhaps. Priced reasonably for the ambience, location and service. Good eatery in all.

Ambience -<br/><br/>The restaurant was spacious and nice to sit at. I liked the upstairs as well. It was well lit and certainly a nice place to sit at to enjoy some south Indian food and chaat. The cho<br/><br/>Staff and service - The service took some time perhaps because of the crowd and the number of orders. The food could've been a little hotter.<br/>I wish the aloo masala was hot.<br/><br/>Food- we ordered two plain dosa and one paper masala dosa.<br/>The dosa was crispy and thick as well. It was certainly filling and came with sambar and chutney.<br/>It was a perfect meal.for a light dinner.<br/>Perhaps.i will.try the chaat there sometime. Aradhna Mohan<br/>

This place is hugely crowded on weekends. Staff service is satisfactory. Taste of the food is really nice , pure vegetarian and cost also seems okay. Must visit place.
Rahul Pai U
The quantity of food they provide makes this place a pocket friendly if there are 4 people on a table, any Dish can be shared by 3 people . Food is excellent but at times(mostly in peak hours ) you’ll have to wait for 10-15mins
Akhil & Angitha (A&A)
Konark is a very good vegetarian and the ambiance is also pretty decent. I generally don't preference vegetarian restaurant, I tried mughali and Hyderabadi biriyani and it was very good. You can visit this place for good South Indian food. Snacks and beverages are also good.
Sricharan Vashisht
A legendary Restaurant losing its sheen.<br/>A legendary hang out famous for north Indian food serves a worst tasting food<br/><br/>Pros<br/>Huge parking space<br/>Ambience <br/><br/>Cons<br/>Taste<br/>Service<br/>Price <br/><br/>Verdict <br/>Taste -2/5<br/>Value for money-2/5<br/>Service-3/5<br/>Ambience-3.5/5

Decent food at resonanle rate. Do try the stuffed kulcha and tawa fried rice. Located in krantiveera stadium near UB city. Ambiance is decent ... we used the up stairs place for dinning
Rajiv B
The ambience is very good. Lots of parking space available inside the stadium. The staff are pleasent and curtious. The food is very tasty and can of considerably large quantity. <br/><br/>The only negative is the approach, if coming from Kasturba road or cubbon park...then patrons have to take a loop around from Mallya hospital to hudson circle to make entry. There should be a direct entry opposite Mallya hospital.
Pranav Shah
The quality has worsened a lot !<br/>I had been here today, and before this 2 years ago.<br/>I still remember the night when we had visited 2 years ago, I remember the delicious food even till today!<br/>That night was unforgettable!!<br/>Had almost forgot this place, then I was like.. need to go here once since we enjoyed a lot the last time.<br/><br/>But today, even on a Saturday evening at around 9, the crowd was too less and the ambience looked quite dull.<br/>And the quality of the food was below average to be very honest. The service by the staff was quite mediocre. They barely cared about the customers. And overall it was unhygienic too!<br/>Not at all worth the time or money.<br/>Give it a skip, look for a better restaurant..
Abhinav Cherukuri
Have been here for breakfast. Ordered masala dosa and idly. Coconut chutney was good. Coffee was not up to the mark. Service was average. Ambience also average
Aravind Chandramohan
If you don't want to have the self service section on the ground floor which serve good food at reasonable price, they have a nice sit down dining hall on top. though I must warn the pricing is high compared to the ground floor. The usual standard that Konark is known for.
Neha Nagpal
Having been to the Konark on Residency Road a bunch of times, this was my first visit to their Kanteerva Stadium outlet.<br/><br/>The food was quite average, and it was reasonably priced. We went here for breakfast and tried their Idli, Dosa and Filter Coffee.<br/>You can skip the Dosa as it was just about okay.<br/>The coffee was a winner according to me!
Ganesh Kumar H.N
Great place to have south Indian food....... they have semi open space to sit or stand have a nice lunch in afternoon they have a AC serviced restaurant
Arnob
This 'vegetarian' restaurant (Got to know about this info while ordering, my bad) is present right at the entrance/exit section of Kanteerava Stadium. We went to service hall section at around 1pm for lunch.<br/><br/>Ambience: To be very frank, wasn't expecting much. But the moment we entered, perception changed. It is good & well maintained.<br/><br/>Food: We ordered Steamed Rice, Dal Fry & Mixed Vegetable. Asked for the dishes to be made non-spicy & light. Food delivered as per specification and tasted good!<br/><br/>Worth visiting again (but since it's an vegetarian restaurant, I ain't coming back again though :P) for all the vegetarian folks. Bill came out to be Rs. 550/- (Also ordered Watermelon 🍉 juice from their 'Fresh Juice' section). Wouldn't say VFM but decent pricing.
Sambit Kumar
Been here few times after running in cubbon park. Have tried only in the self service section. Idli is superlatively delicious. However I have observed the thickness of idli is on the reverse side. I don't mind it much as long as taste is awesome. Dosa is really good. Chutney is superb. And most importantly the cost is very reasonable.
PSK
Decent place in this area for vegetarian food. Opt for the restaurant for a decent meal if you aren't in a hurry. May have to wait for sometime for a table. The self service section is always crowded during lunch hours between 1-2, and you may not get some of the items if your are late.<br/>Ambience is OK and food is good. Bisi bele baath is worth trying. The North Indian items are prepared well.<br/>Service is good being a busy place can expect it bit delayed.
ViVek MaClan FeRnandes
The service is too bad. Reasons for not getting Milkshakes and sandwiches is that the chef has not come yet. But food quality is good. There is even miscount in the bill. duplication of order
Kartik Patro
<br/>One of the good veg restaurants I have ever had. The quantity is less but the food quality is excellent. The service is good and the rush is always on. So better go before 1 for lunch
Anurag Bisoyi
I always went there for lunch. Food was good. Ambiance not bad. If you go for lunch then you better go before 12:30pm or after 2:00 pm. Dal khichidi was awesome and never try here Kashmiri Palau.<br/><br/><br/>

This place is in the heavily traffic zone area but will be filled with people all the time due to taste in food .. they are good in north Indian cuisine .. atleast 30 mins waiting if you visit there unplanned ..
Kiran Palakodeti
This place is situated in the premises of Kanteerava Indoor Stadium. We happened to be here in the vicinity and looking for quick lunch. One of my friend suggested this place and we quickly zeroed in on this place. Masala dosa can be given a skip unless you ask for customization but Vada was crisp and tasty. Food is reasonably priced and is value for money.

Brilliantly good! <br/>I had some work in government offices. Day time, no good food around, starving, craving for something delicious or at least something to eat. I searched a bit on Zomato and found this konark vegetarian Restaurant few kilometers from there. I had no option but a try to this. <br/>The vegetarian food is great here. I had a couple of gravy and naan and shake. Quite good taste and relatively economic food. The restaurant has okay Ambiance. The service is great too. I really like the place. <br/>Since then whenever I go there yo that area, I always have lunch here. <br/>Food-4/5<br/>Service - 3.5/5<br/>Ambiance - 1/5
Ajay
Food quality is good but Horrible service. Made us to wait more than an hour. Need to serve fast else you guys gonna loose customers. <br/>And waiters are horrible, behave so rudely. Especially Sanjay.
Ankit Mehta
Its a decent vegetarian restaurant. We had a 3 course mean and I loved panner tikka starter. We ordered crispy chilly babycorn and veg seekh kabab . Seekh kabab was ok but babycorn was not good at all. Later we ordered 3 sabzis but they were also average .  It was an ok ambience and decent service.<br/>Will recommend people to try paneer tikka starter there :)

Good old South Indian tiffin items, coffee and shakes (which they embellish with North Indian and chaat items, for reasons beyond my comprehension). Cheese dosas are a great hit with kids (and they don't go easy on the cheese)! Regular fare like dosas, idly and uttapams are good too.<br/>Located just opposite Cubbon Park and therefore, a great place for post-workout breakfast.<br/>
Guru
One of the best breakfast hotels I have visited..!<br/>The hotel is situated amidst the shade of lovely green trees... which allows you to breath in the fresh air and enjoy your breakfast or the cup of filter coffee.<br/>And I was really impressed with their hygiene and maintenance...!<br/><br/>If you are in and around corporation circle or heading towards the MG Road and if you wanna have a good decent breakfast and filter coffee you can drop in and enjoy the food and the fresh air...!
Stephen Pradeep
Had lunch here twice on recent Business meetings and loved the taste of Konark. Visiting this place for the first time but will definitely be back here for more.

This is a nice veggie breakfast joint in kanteerva stadium . If u ever plan for a walk in cubbon park on Sunday mornings or if ur in kanteerva stadium to catch on a BFC game ...This is the ideal place .. they make decent Idlys and dosas .. Actually they make good busi bele bath and kara bath as well . There is a self service and seated service available so u can actually choose ...Cheers

This place is located inside the Sree Kanteerava Stadium premises. This is my regular hangout place prior to and after the Bengaluru FC football matches. The restaurant consists of 2 floors. The ground floor is self-service and prices are on the lower side (and so is the quantity and the taste! :D)<br/><br/>The main restaurant is however on the first floor. The service is impeccable, the staff are friendly and the food is simply amazing. Their mango lassi and mango juice are kickass. Their chaats are quite tasty as well. They have mocktails, which surprisingly taste better than ones at most pubs. I've also tried their dosas, out of which I liked the cheese pepper masala dosa the best. The open dosa, I did not quite like that much.<br/><br/>All in all, if you're in that area, don't forget to visit :)

Darshini here is just average and hence the rating is 4. The restaurant is too good. Be it Chinese, South Indian, North Indian or Continental dish, all are simply superb and will surely make your mouth water when you go there the next time. Ambiance is good. Service is average speed, but once you have got the food the service picks up and you will not be made to wait in between your rotis, if you have ordered it after having one roti.

Amazing place set amidst Cubbon park and kanteerva stadium. Goood food as always, good and hygienic ambience and the staff are friendly and helpful. A good joint for a Sunday morning breakfast halt.

The food is good here. Specifically the north Indian and the pasta. I found this place pretty good in taste compare to the other in bangalore which offers north Indian and Continental food.

Very nice place to be in the heart of the city. They have two types of sitting, one with self service - economy place and other with fine dining (without air con )<br/>I liked the food here for the first time . The chef prepared amazing north Indian food with very good taste <br/>Tried south Indian and dosa was really very nice <br/>Chat has south Indian touch, which can be avoided once to tell the server <br/>Mocktail was also good with proper taste <br/>Very quick to serve food <br/>In the end they give finger bowl too <br/><br/>They are digital savvy as all orders are quickly placed using their pads

This place plainly has yummy veg food. If u live anywhere near by and are a vegetarian you can come and have your lunch or dinner here. They even have breakfast and the service is quick.
The Beer Dossier
via 'The Sport Dossier' & 'The Food Dossier'<br/><br/>Sitting inside the 'Kanteerava Stadium' premises, the restaurant is easy to locate and parking here ain't a problem either regardless of driving or riding to the stadium.<br/><br/>The Restaurant has an outdoor ground level seating section and an upstairs indoor section. The outdoor section we're sure is cheaper but we walked up into the indoor section.<br/><br/>What really impressed us about this place is that, its very clean and hygienic. Not something we'd expect from a restaurant in a stadium premises. <br/><br/>Udupi restaurants have always set benchmarks for South-Indian breakfast food and thats why you should be going here on your visit to the stadium. We ordered 4 plates of 'Set Dosa', a plate of 'Idlis', a 'Cheese Masala Dosa', a serving of 'Hong Kong Fried Rice' and some 'Bhel Puri'.<br/><br/>From our orders it became pretty clear to us what we'd do if we were here a second time. Everything that was South Indian breakfast food was amazing and everything that wasn't was barely food so much so that we didn't even finish the fried rice or the chaat. The Cheese Masala Dosa barely had any cheese but wasn't too bad as just a 'Masala Dosa'.<br/><br/>To sum it all up -<br/><br/>Logistics (Location/Getting there/Parking) - 5/5<br/>Ambience: Outdoor - 2.5/5 | Indoor - 4.5/5<br/>Presentation - 3.5/5<br/>Food - 2.5/5<br/>Service - 4/5<br/><br/>Verdict: Good place to go if you're going to a Bengaluru FC home game, whose home ground this is. We wouldn't go here just for the food! Also, only order South Indian breakfast food. Nothing else is worth your money!<br/><br/>Potential: Great, since its inside a stadium but they should either scrap all non-South Indian food from their menu and just focus on the food they already know or spend a LOT of effort bringing the rest of the food up to par.<br/>Next Visit: Next Bengaluru FC home game!!

The worst experience I had found glass piece in the cup of bournvita when I have ask about the complaint book they deny for the same no body even bother about this

I'll start my review with the gist of it, the 35 rupees dosa that you get in your nearest shiv/shanti sagar or udupi park is way better than this.<br/>I'm a spice lover and absolutely adore spicy stuffs. The food that we eat at our house has a good quantity of spice in it. However! you simply can't serve such weird soups, so full of chilli that it ruins your appetite. Please work out on this.<br/>Dosa was so bland, so badly made, all masala on one side of it.<br/>The finger bowl water was just way too hot. <br/>Horrible experience.<br/>Not to mention the don't care attitude of staff. So if I return a plate because it was dirty, doesn't mean you won't serve me a plate anymore. Never ever going back

Came across this place while looking out for a decent place to have our breakfast after a good walk at Cubbon Park.. This place is situated in the premises of Kanteerava Indoor stadium, opposite to Cubbon park.. Its a two floor setup with self service hall on the ground floor and service hall on the first floor.. Since it was a Sunday morning, the place was crowded.. We ordered Masala Dosa, Idli vada, coffee and watermelon juice, in spite of having too many people coming in, the food was served quickly.. Masala dosa was just above average, Idli was good, but Vada was too good, it was crispy n super soft.. Food is reasonably priced..

This is an age old place and I like that they let you eat in your parked cars similar to airlines. The staff are very helpful and serve you well. It is pure veg food. I like the paneer Manchurian from here and other food.

This place use to be one of the most happening place for vegetarians couple of years back but now it's very bad. Food smells bad and tastes stale. Even though it promotes itself as a family restaurant the staff were rude and the environment is not friendly at al

Very good place. Initially was not so interested but was forced to join my friends. <br/>Was blown away by there service. Food tasted very good and they were ready to customise the way we wanted. <br/> Parking absolute no problem. I would highly recommend this place.

Visited this restaurant yesterday for breakfast we sat in the service section....the ambience is really nice ! Neat comfortable sofa sitting....cool air..and some really nice paintings .....ordered some masala dosa ...plain dosa....idly ....vada and some chow chow bath .....idly vada I asked for a dip but he gave in plate and when I ordered vada second time I asked for separate he gave a dip....I don't know what confusion he had....coming to taste....the samber was ok ok .....not as great as the legendary darshini's in Bangalore......the vada was not oily .....the idly was soft and fluffy ......the dosa was neatly roasted and the aloo filling was spicy ....chow chow bath was good not too great.....the chutney was also good not too great.....we also ordered some strong coffee which wasn't that strong.....service was ok ok ...not to fast and we had to ask them to clear the plates every time ...prices are a little higher than your normal darshini......overall rather an average experience.....they need to improve on a lot of points....

This restaurant is a favourite for my family so I've been here many many times, and the quality has always been very good. The review here will be based on my most recent visit. We had the hot n sour soup which is spicy and really good. For starters we had mushroom pepper and salt and drums of gobi in schezwan sauce. The gobi wasn't that great but the mushroom was amazing! Then for main course we had butter Kulcha with kaju masala, again very good. Along with this we had their hyderabadi biriyani which is probably the best item we had there. Along with this we tried their focaccia grilled sandwich and this was also very good. This is a must visit place especially if you are going out with family!

Quite frankly I don't like the place for its food. The dosas and upmas etc are very oily and I've had better. The north Indian food is better if avoided. No big deal place except the ambience. Can't go wrong with the greenery this place has to offer thanks to cubbon park and the stadium around. Great place to just sip on some coffee on a rainy day though.<br/><br/>Food Taste: 3<br/>Menu Variety: 3<br/>Menu Uniqueness: 1<br/>Ambience: 5<br/>Service: 3.5<br/>Value for Money: 5

Felt a little apprehensive initially seeing empty chairs. I was proved otherwise. Nice ambience, attentive employees, palatable food, affordable (near to cheap) cost.

If you are looking for a place with good food and decent ambiance than this is the go to place . Initially I was skeptical about the place with empty chairs waiting for us but by the time we finished our food the place was buzzing with people. If you are light on pocket then you must consider this place . <br/>PS: Do try their chutney. Its yummy. :)Dipesh Palod Garvit Bansal

Simple and nice place for dinner with friends and family. North Indian food is good and price is also reasonable. Ambience is quite descent and location make it really nice to be here.

Set in a nice space, bright, airy, clean. Had the paneer tikka, spinach and corn and a mixed veg. Curry. All delicious (although the veg tasted a bit too much of butter!). Nans fluffy and fresh, helpful attentive staff. Very good value too. Definitely will go back.

Huge menu to select from. Never expected such a big menu in a all veg restaurant. And still considering the huge menu the service is fast. Food is also decent enough, as I don't expect much from veg restaurants. Negative point for customers and good point for the owners is that it is crowded in peak times.

Best restaurant for vegetarians in the area with amazing food and great quality , for starters ordered spring roll and mushroom Manchurian ,both of them were appealing and appetizing. Palak mushroom and kaju paneer for gravies ,palak mushroom should be tried for its creamy texture and subtle flavour ,ordered kulcha ,aloo paratha and naan for Breads all were tandoored perfectly ,veg biriyani was okayish and now my fav part the desserts ,sizzler browny was just heavenly ,the sizzle it makes when chocolate sauce is engulfed on that brownie is scrumptious . it's a must try and pocket friendly too

I have tried only the South Indian cuisine so can only comment about the same! The Dosa Idli Chutney and Sambar were all amazing and left me wanting more!<br/><br/>The ambiance is not typical nor very modern! It is the corner family restaurants that we have all grown up eating in!<br/><br/>The staff can be little more helpful and warn in their approach and the service has scope for improving!

This place next kanteerava got service hall and self service. Parking not a issue as can use kanteerava visitors parking.<br/><br/>Food is similar to other Konark restaurant. Got large menu from south Indian, north indian, chats, continental etc.<br/><br/>Dosa items are good, Chinese and chats OK OK .. Didn't get to taste other item as always visited in evening n only these 3 cuisines were available always.<br/><br/>They got friendly staff.
