Lovely place to have dinner with closed ones. The manager is really sweet and welcoming and the food is delicious. Would recommend.
Poh Soh Lee
Located at 1st floor of Aloft Hotel, serves buffet and a la carte menu. Burnt garlic fried rice, sechuan fried rice and green Thai curry were good. Ordered Dahl on second visit, good! However fried rice not as good as the first time. Dinning hall was generally good but loud music can make conversation challenging.

Couple of weeks ago I got to experience a lovely southindian food festival here. Everyday they were featuring one southern region I got to taste Kerelaite food at its best. As I said guests can get to enjoy diverse regional cuisine from Tamilndu, Kerala, Andhra pradesh and Karnataka the buffet spread will cover all corners of south. Something I really look forward at aloft is their biryani, fish in any form fried or curry, lamb and offals all there are must try here friends... Overall food and experience was excellent. The dishes I enjoyed and had second serving were the Thalesherry biryani, kerela parotta, Varutharacha Aattierachi, nadan kozhi curry, payasam and pazham pori.

Good food for south indian vegetarian. "Value for money" wise not up to the mark. It is expensive in spite of considering star hotel. It seems lunch buffet has some offers which brings more value for money. Asked for ChapStick and Staff said they don't have chapsticks, this does not suits their star hotel image!!!

Tried their vegetable soup and Thai red curry. soup took longer than usual and I was told they have to make it from scratch, it was decent. Red curry was good but would have been better if more Basil was added. Very good restaurant and decent pricing. Would recommend for anyone visiting Whitefield area, dinner buffet was HUGE. Good Luck!

Had been here for breakfast buffet. Amazing place. Mouth watering Breakfast. Delicious and tummy full food. Nice and friendly staffs. Very decent and feel good environment. Should definitely visit here. Staff don't hesitate to make you comfortable at the fullest. They kept blend of north and south Indian food. A great cook of baked products, fruits, juice. #food #buffet #alot #dot.yum

Visited this restaurant with my office team. The buffet here is value for money. The starters are limited but good in taste. The main course consists of both North Indian and South Indian food. I had the south Indian main course which tasted great. Tried dal podi, ghee and rice for first time. Overall a good experience.

Went for the Onam sadya. It was quite good, with over 25 items, except a couple of dishes that didn't taste good enough. The pappapdums and fryums had gone soft and soggy. But the ambience was quite nicely done, and the dishes were laid out beautifully too.

Went to the restaurant today (Saturday) after traffic ensured we couldn't even get out of Whitefield The place was mostly empty We went for buffet which was just awesome - the selection of dishes was good and the fare was delicious They didn't have biryani on the buffet today, and my daughter loves it, so i requested it The chef made egg biryani for her (took some time) - she loved it, and they didn't even charge us for that !

We had a team dinner on a Tuesday here at Dot Yum Restaurant in the Aloft Hotel. The buffet dinner was good with variety of food made available. Right from starters to main course to desserts the quality of the food was very good and tasty too. Ample seating available in the restaurant. Considering this restaurant in in the Aloft Hotel parking is not a trouble; as ample parking available at the hotel basement. The service from the staff is also good.

One of the finest hotel to offer wide range of breakfast options in Bangalore.. I really love the place

1. Chole + palak puri is amazing
2. Many option in south Indian breakfast from idli, mendu wada,
3. Live counter offering dosa, omlet
4. Daily they change options from poha, seera, kesar bhat, sevai, etc
5. Lot of fruits and juices
6. Cakes

Bercher muesli is just amazing

A must try.. Great place
Annu....🍷

Had been for dinner on Sunday. First of all the place was too empty, so felt like we were having dinner at some lonely place. The starters were good. The main course was ok. Could have had better varieties of desserts. Overall a decent place.
Yamini
Very average experience tried their buffet spread in a corporate event.few curries tasted similar in looks ..murg curry, paneer butter masala, dal makhani had red colour texture more..!starters were better..overall it’s 3🌟

A restaurant with impressive spread of buffet, justice for both vegetarians and non veg lovers. Right choices of continental, Chinese , north and south Indian. Lot of salad and desserts too. Hardly any dish that I can say was below average. Petha and gulab jamuns tasted the best and left me craving for more.
Smita Priyadarsini
Being a Marriott Chain, I was quite excited to have their buffet. Once we entered into the restaurant we got our seats and for next 8 mins around no one was there to ask us for water. Then some one came and offered water and we asked for chilled water and then another came and asked the same question and then another but no one served us chilled water and neither of them were coming near telling us what is the issue. Then talking about the food, the starter and salad section was good. Paneer tasted sour. Hare mutter me kabab was really dry. And the main course one I loved was saffron rice. Apart from it none of them had authentic taste or flavours. Among Non veg starters Hunan Chicken and Fish 65 was good but again Fish 65 was cold. Mutton was tender but the gravy lack flavour.
And then came the most Disastrous Section...

The Dessert- They served some 8-10 dessert among which only a single Choclate mouse was the thing I enjoyed.
.
.
None of the dessert taste even average. Seems as if the dessert were Eye Candy and not meant to be eaten. They are great if seen from distance.
.
.
Panacota one of the classic dish has the most Disastrous makeover by making it Blue coax panacota.
.
Very Disappointed ☹️😔
.
.
.
Ambience-4/5
Food-2.5/5
Service-2.5/5
Buffet breakfast at decent price with continental, North Indian, south Indian options.

Went here to try out their buffet breakfast, the price was pretty decent. Paid 286 per person, booked the table from nearby.com. They have some pretty amazing deals to offer. The place is really pretty with some really simple decors. The staffs were really welcoming.

There are so many options for breakfast for the non-vegetarians. From the continental menu loved the bacon, chicken sausages, egg sandwich and peanut french toast. From the south Indian menu loved the vada and dosa and idli and peanut chuntney.

They have live counters where they prepare some really amazing omlettes, fluffy pancakes and dosa. Great options for soups and salads. You can prepare your own soups and salads by choosing your own ingredients.

Bakery and confectionery items were really yummy. Loved the blueberrry cake, chocolate muffins and donuts

The entrance is little confusing, not many options for vegetarians. Cut fruits were not really fresh

Ambience - 4/5
Food - 4/5
Service - 4/5
Price - 5/5
Raza
I have been to this place thrice and have visited the other parts as well as in estia and wxy.The food at all the places is similar.
Recently I went here for my team lunch.
I did not find many varieties in starters.
Nor veg non veg.
The desserts didn't seem fresh.
Main course was also limited.
The taste was average too.
As a 4starred restaurant, the food quality and variety should be proved for sure.
This place has got a great ambience.the staff is friendly and helpful.
But yes when it comes to good,it's not worth the price.
Gear up people !

I've been staying at Aloft for the past 10 days. Had breakfast everyday and dinner on most of the days. I've tried north indian, thai curry, ratatouille, veg sandwiches are everything has just been perfect. What makes the place even better is that the staff is really courteous. The chef would make it a point to take your feedback. Always a pleasure to dine here

Went to dot.yum restaurant in aloft Whitefield for breakfast buffet and was extremely satisfied with the whole experience. The spread was quite extensive for the price charge d and most of the dishes were great. They have dishes from Chinese to continental to South Indian. Loved most of the dishes but the South Indian dishes were not upto the mark.
Dinesh K
Went for breakfast and dinner. Cozy setting. Good variety of buffet. Friendly staff is a plus point. Always by your side for any needs. Great live counters. Good location and ample parking
Kashmira More
Valentime day dinner buffet costs 850 rs. Amd the spread was quiet big ( for a star hotel at that price is not bad ). There were several salads , 5-6 starters , 7-8 mains , south Indian receipes corner with another 6 dishes , 6 desserts and lot of add on things around the buffet. Sorry the images aren't good and are only of starters.

The batter fried chicken was tough but French fries was the highlight. The cheesy nugget was okay too. The service attendant gave partial information on our query which was another dissatisfying part- if you aren’t sure of something then admit and check, don’t gulp part of an important information pls. This is a general grievance across food places in Bangalore. The salty lime soda was too high on salt.
Sumana Sen
This restaurant was really nice and clean place looking like ambiance is good.food quality was good service was excellent thanks for Dot yum ...hotel

I booked for buffet , when I reach they asked me to order a la carte, buffet was over. It took 40 min to serve food and quality was average or may be less. I felt like restaurant was closed and somehow they managed with some food. Definitely my last visit here.

They say booking a table and reserving a table are different. Book a table via zomato and then call them again to reserve that table. It's better to call them directly and reserve for buffet instead of booking a table through zomato, as it makes no sense that you have to call them again and reserve the table for buffet*

I think the hotel people are not at all bothered about how the customers may feel once they are welcomed with "sir, I see a reservation for you for buffet, but we don't have a buffet today, but we accepted it as we need to get the count, and we won't call you and you only should call us to reserve the table for buffet." ..... Seriously!

And he was giving me wise words on how to book a table and reserve it again by calling them. Wow. Amazing guys. Keep it up!! Can't they just call all the people with buffet reservations and confirm that they don't have buffet that day and ask them if they want to go for another alternative? Is it such a huge task for the restaurant people??

Definitely someone has to look into such a serious issue. I personally got a very..... Very bad experience with these guys!

PS: Don't book by its zomato or anything, just call them and book the table as it would be more clear and easy for them as they are lazy enough to callback if the option you want to go for is not there.

*Subject to availability.

Delicious food...great presentation...the chef personally visits ur table...n asks about the taste n all.. that's a sweet gesture..
Would love to visit again
Desserts are a must try
Dal makhni was out od the world

Pleasantly surprised!
We went there for a corporate team lunch on Friday. It's a old hotel and so you can't expect extravagant setup and upholstery. But it is neat.
Soup and starters were served on the table usual. There was corn chicken soup which was thick and delicious. Both veg and non veg starters were good especially the fish finger, chiken tikka and a kabab made of green peas.
Main course was a good spread with a mix of north and south, so there was dal makhani, pindi chole and there was Mangalore fish curry. I didn't like the deserts so much. Rasmalai tasted different. Also they had only 2 types of fruits. But I liked the fact that the chef noted we didn't like deserts and took it as a feedback
Service was worth appreciating. We got 10% corporate discount as well and a voucher for 18% discount at all aloft restaurants on our next visit. I wonder why this place is not sought-after that much. They need to promote it.

I had been here just this weekend when I got to know there is a bengali food festival going on . The food festival is for dinner only - priced at about 850+ taxes.
I must say it was a great effort to put up this kind of a wide variety and have the uncommon dishes in the array like lau chingri, panchmeeshali tarkari, potoler dolma, begun bhaja etc.
They also had aloo kaabli chaat, phuchka, jhalmuri and above all - egg roll, which rightly set the mood for Durga puja which is in the calendar in a fortnights time. Can bengalis celebrate Durga puja without their favourite mutton biriyani, with the most sought after "aloo".

I guess this is the first bengali festival in town, others must have something soon up their sleeves.

P.s - loved the choice of songs they were playing, to create the charm.

I have also left them a couple of suggestions like the names of the dishes, dhokar dalnaa needed R&D and above all there was a need to keep some of the dishes warm till the end of the buffet.

If you are looking for a decent place for team/client lunch, then Dot.yum is the perfect choice. They serve a variety of veg and non veg starters, so this won’t disappoint you if you are a vegetarian.
Ellanti Kishore
It was a nice experience visiting this place, limited number of starters, taste was above average, and desserts were of another level, they had a lot of desserts and all of them tastes awesome.
Shankar Kr
I would recommend this place whole heartedly. Excellent food and wonderful service. Special mention of Chef Karan needs to be made. I had just one request regarding the buffett breakfast and he personally attended to it immediately. Better still he ensures that i get it just the way i specified every time i have been there. Definitely will be a regular there. The rest of the service staff are also top notch.
Sanjay Dey
I had visited this place for breakfast some time back.
They have a decent spread of Continental & Indian Cuisine.
Considering the buffet charge per person for breakfast, their spread is excellent and the food also tastes great.
I would recommend to the readers that they can visit this place for breakfast provided they are looking for good food that tastes great and is economical to the pocket and not a lavish flamboyant menu.
Syam Sundeep
The prices mentioned in this page are not correct. They are more expensive than what i thought. The food is not so great for the cost. there is no package with drink included

Happened to drop in causally on a special ocassion must say the ambience and the food was just perfect. i preferred Al a carte so, Ordered awadhi lamb dum biryani which was well cooked and the aroma of biryani was really good caz of good spice ingredients in just about required quantity also, ordered makhmali murgh tikka well nothing else to say on this it was too good and we ate it in no time. The staff was courteous and gave heads-up of the timing the food would take and suggested alternatives which would arrive at the table quickly that worked since I had very less time to spend at the restaurant.
Ambience:4/5
Food:4/5
Price3.5/5
staff:4.25/5

Been here today. Felt awesome. Staffs are so friendly that they dint even mind giving us welcome drink for second time when asked for it 😅 wide range of salads which are well decorated and loved varieties of pickle here.

Went here for the breakfast buffet on a Sunday morning , very good spread , they serve excellent continental breakfast which includes bacon , sausages, ham and pancakes as well as north and south indian cuisine . The quality and the taste was equally good . And pricing is very light on the pocket . Definitely going back .

Had gone for dinner with wife, very good ambiance, my wife had opted for non veg buffet and I non veg buffet + unlimited imfl/beer, the service was very good and also the buffet spread, do try their buffet+liquor package, it's worth it and special thanks to Rukmini, she took good care of us

We went for a buffet lunch here after having taken coupons from nearbuy.
I must say, the starters are the best this place can offer you. Amazing variety of non veg items. We almost repeated that thrice.
Main course on the other hand didn't amuse me much. I'd rather have another round of the starters itself.
Coming to the desserts, those again were nice. There was a particular brownie which was delicious. Panna cota, marble pastry, malpua were all decent.
Must try: chicken tandoor, fish fry, decadent brownie.
Also, since we had bought the coupons from nearbuy, we had a complimentary virgin mojito which otherwise you'll have to pay for as extra.

Overall an amazing experience. Recommended for sure.

I recently visited Dot Yum restaurant with my wife. We ordered Veg Men-chow and Noorani Kebab. It was delicious. For food, we ordered Hyderabad Dum Biryani. It was superb. Alongside we also enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant while eating Greek Yogurt. Service was bit slow but that can be surely improved
Joyita Roy
I visited once for dinner buffet. Food quality was good. But number of items were very less compared to other 4,5 star hotel buffet. Hospitality was good. Overall experience was not bad. But number of items should be more.

Took the team here for dinner after office . I was really apprehensive about the food and ambience since this was my first visit and I had chosen this place based upon zomato reviews , fortunately, it turned out to be a great choice .

And the food was even more awesome , lots of varieties in staters, the main course and desserts were also great , the staff there were friendly and they did a fantastic services ; 👍
need not mention any favorite items there , becoz I pretty much I like everything that was there on the buffet . kudos ..

especially thanku so much munim, chef karan and mirza,

The only meal that I have had at Dot.yum is Breakfast. The breakfast buffet at Aloft is good, we generally take the Nearbuy discount coupon and I must say it’s worth it. The service and spread is good. This is the only place where you get 2-3 variety of dish from different regions. The options are:
Chinese: soup and noodles
Continental: sausages, salami, waffle or pan cakes, boiled eggs, cutlets, hash browns, and baked beans.
South Indian: Idli, wada, upma or poha or pongal.
North Indian: puri aloo/chana, pav bhaji.
Live counters: dosa, paranthas, chilla, eggs to order.
And a big array of bakery stuff.

I like their spread but been a little disappointed with there paranthas and chilla. That is somethings that can be improved upon. Otherwise a good place to have sumptuous breakfast.

Happened to visit this place for a lunch buffet which is priced at 700 plus taxes approximately.
What came as pleasant surprise was the wide spread of yummy salads they have..a big thumbs ups for tht.
They served us soups and starters on our table. Two chicken very, one fish, One paneer, two vegetable starters which tasted pretty decent were served. I must say The staff is very courteous.
The main course and desserts was a spread of Indian Chinese continental and south Indian food.
Taste wise the was nothing very extraordinary. Average tasting main course. May be they can work on improving the taste of individual dishes.
They serve you hot breads which was a delight.
Desserts were very sweet ...may be a little less on sugar would improve the quality .
Gulabjamun was like a rubber ball which when squeezed behaved like a rasogulla.
My other favourite part was the section of pickles and frymes which reminded me of my childhood.
I would recommend them to just improve on the taste of their main course and dessert dishes.
For the price I paid approx 1700 for two I felt I didn't have anything other than salads and starters.

Anshul Sharma
One of the best places to have buffet breakfast in the area. They have a diverse buffet spread with ample varieties in continental, north indian and south indian dishes. Their masala chicken sausages and pan cakes are a must try and not to mention the different types of muffins, croissants, doughnuts and cakes as well. The live counter serves dosas, utthapams and egg preparations and I tried the double egg white masala omelette. Their continental spread had bacon and ham as well. They close at sharp 10.30 so better to reach early if you want to relax and enjoy your breakfast
Arvind Verma
I was there for a the new year party.. had the 31st dinner and on 1st the brunch.

Dinner on 31st was just okay.. be it pav bhaji, chaat or veg starters.. all this was still edible.

Next day brunch was very very bad.. nothing was edible.. sambhar (no tastes), noodles, lasagna (felt uncooked), paneer ( felt like chewing rubber), dessert was also very disappointing.

Chaat was the only thing i could actually eat.

Very very disappointing.
I went to Aloft for a much awaited Team Lunch with my group of 15 members. The experience was extremely horrible .The food was cold even after pre booking.Staff kept telling us that as they have a big party booking for evening we should strictly close by 3 PM. We even agreed to that for a lunch that started at 2 PM. But the staff was not interested to serve food . Forget being hospitable, they argued that we should not comment that the food is bad. As they have a big booking in evening they are busy with that and we need to understand. We were told Dot yum is a hotel and not any other restaurant where we get warm food at 2:30 or later. I will never recommend any one to go there. Above this they forced us to pay Service Charge for the uncourteous Service . We even argued that this is illegal but the only soft spoken person (Manager on Duty) claimed helplessness to remove service tax above GST. We all vowed never to return to this place. Waste of time ,money and a awaited outing.
Pragya
Worst experience ever for team lunch. Service was not good at all. Staff was not even interested to serve and was very rude. No proper arrangements were there even after pre-booking. Suggest all of you to choose any better place than Aloft to enjoy.Aloft does not deserve even 1 rating.
Chaithra M
Very bad experience for ever. The staff is horrible, unkind and impolite. the food were not warm service was worst and there is no good food options for vegetarians. I highly recommend that you do not go to this restaurant.
SARAN RAJ
While having food please dont comment that food was not good, since will waiter act as spy and they(Mr.ATUL) will argue with customer."How can you tell that food was not good".Also if you want to have the cold food , you can go after 2 PM. Other branches are fine, but this "Dot-Yum" Whitefield was not good service to the customer.
Subhashree Sahoo
Hi All,
I had a very bad experience . No service at all .Staffs were least interested in serving the customer. i suggest you all never go for this place .

Wide-spread Buffet Breakfast !!
Went to Dot.yum for buffet breakfast on Sunday morning! Food was delicious! There were many options for both Indian and English breakfast! Absolutely loved the wide range and taste of them!
My personal favourites are:
Coffee, cinnamon roll, blueberry cake, sausage, dosa, Omelette, frittata !!
It’s worth the money!:)

I went to Dot.yum, restuarant of Aloft Hotel with my friends. We decided to go for buffet and I called up for reservation where they promised me to serve live counters of pasta, chinese, continental and chats but at the end I just got pasta only. The starters of buffet were really good but the main course was equally really bad. I ordered pasta tortellini and penne and both of them were so delicious ,hats off to their chef. The ambience is not so great but I liked most is the hospitality of staff members.
Naveena Jain
Went for Ala carte lunch....Food was not up to the mark. Options were very limited in veg food... Service was slow though ambience was good.

Dot Yum is one of the restaurant located in Aloft - Whitefield. The restaurant looks quite neat and has a positive vibe about it. The restaurant is predominantly serves Al Carte food and has one of the acclaimed Chef Hafizulla as the Executive Chef. Highlight of the restaurant has got to be the taste and presentation of the food which speaks volumes of the Chef’s experience. I recently got an opportunity to visit the place and try out some of the wonderful food.

Ambiance

The restaurant has sheik finish with pillars being covered with laminates. Designer tiles seem to be used across various section of restaurant.

Tables are quite nicely spread out quite well, to let guests move around easily.

There are plenty of books on the shelf, for guests who love reading. The hotel has around 160 odd room and most of the corporate guests across the globe enjoy reading.

A nice buffet counter section is put up to the left side, where buffet lunch is served during the week-days.

Highlight of the restaurant is also the view outside. One side of the restaurant is a beautiful Swimming pool and the other side is an open lawn area which has greenery.

Apart from the restaurant and its interiors, the Aloft Whitefield property itself is quite appealing. It is one of the few hotels part of Marriott group of hotels that looks more relaxed and energizing.

Food

Food is surely one of the main highlight at this restaurant. Executive Chef is very highly qualified as he pursued his Hotel Management studies at IIHM, Chennai. He has a lot of experience working in multiple countries, cruise-lines and restaurants across the country. Let me share my experience of eating some of the food.

Appetizers

Dahi Ke Kebab – This is one of items made with Hung Yogurt, Onions, Ginger, Coriander and is very popular. The taste of the kebab is quite awesome which was enhanced by taking it along with Mint & Cream-Mayo based chutneys. The starter was served on a special edible stone along with another starter which made it look like picture perfect.

Badami Saag Sheek – A combination of Spinach Leaves, Almonds mixed along with Indian Spices. The saag and almond slices combination along with Cheese brought out unique taste.

There are 2 Non-Vegetarian starters which are presented very well and taste quite awesome – Lahori Boti Kebab and Murgh Gulnar.

Main Course

Mushroom Gravy Subzi – This was a gravy subzi served along with Butter Naan. The combination was just awesome, and it was hard to resist after taking one bite. Special mention about the presentation which was done on a big plate that a small section in the middle where gravy was served.

Paneer e Hazrat Mahal – A dish that had paneer pieces rolled finely and served with Makhani gravy. Along with the gravy there was a small portion of green-leaves, which tasted quite good.

Maa Ki Daal – Combination of well cooked & simmered Black Dal, Rajma and Channa finished with cream and butter. The daal was served with Rice that had raisins in it. Black Lentils was cooked very well and the gravy was quite yummy. I would loved to have the daal with steamed rice instead of the dry-fruit pulao rice.

Deserts

There are a variety of items we are used to eating as part of Dessert which includes Pastries, Chocolates & Ice-creams. Many have forgotten the taste of Indian sweets that can be tasty desserts. At this restaurant I tried couple of sweet dishes including – Duet of Beetroot & White pumpkin Halwa, Carrot Quenelle and Rajbhog Milk Burfi.

Beetroot Halwa is quite popular at home but it is always served by itself. Here the Chef served it along with White pumpkin based Halwa, which taste really good when taken together.

Drinks

Guava based mocktail – I tried one of the Guava based mocktail that was specially prepared by Chef. It looks like a Guava Margarita that had Chilli powder long side the rim of glass. The taste of every sip of really good and it acted as the perfect drink along with the lunch.

Overall Experience

I had great experience of having lunch at one of the best restaurants in Aloft – Whitefiled. Kudos to Chef & his team for making every dish tasty and present it like a piece of art. It is hard to point fingers at any of items, as individually each of them were quite good. Special mention of the serving staff who were quite courteous and prompt in service.

I rate my overall experience at 4.0/5.

Rating in various departments.

Food – 4.0/5

Drinks – 4.0/5

Ambiance – 4.0/5

Service – 4.0/5

Food for 2 at this restaurant will cost anywhere between INR 1500-2500.

This place has a quite decent Buffet. Although they had less Starters, food was very good especially the Fish Kebab and Chicken Lollipop.Loved the Rasmalai in Desserts. We had around 10-15. Best thing is Head cook came himself to enquire about the food and its quality. Ambience is ok. Overall a good place.

A very god place with beautiful ambience and courteous staff. Definitely a must try. We went for a buffet dinner on a NON- food gali day to see if the experience is good and we weren't disappointed. Every dish, snack and drink they served was absolutely amazing except the mushroom and paneer starters were a bit too spicy for my liking. The deserts were something that would force me to revisit. Must try : Grilled fish, mud cake, orange cheesecake, tandoori chicken, shahi paneer and welcome drinks. Avoid: Panacota desert and bacon salad. The spread could be better for the price but all they served was a-okay.

Ambience is ok types, Food is good. I went for Non-veg buffet lunch. Number starters served were less in variety. Mocktails are actually not mock tails but just like mixed fruit juice. Please don't call them mock tails. Main course spread is OK though. Overall its highly priced for the food and service provided. There are better alternates for lesser cost and better quality. I saw an earlier review a month ago that mocktails were worthless and still dot yum has not bothered to change the quality. Are you saying you are too lazy to improve? I will never visit this place again neither recommend this to anyone who loves to enjoy food

To begin with the variety and presentation deserves a clear thumbs up - 5 points for that.

Being a fish lover I do have to comment on the fish starters- 4 points for that

Th service is very good as well

Ambience and the overall experience is great.

What can be improved is the beverages served. Apart from that do explore the area around as well after a meal.

Their breakfast buffet has a descent spread and an average taste but the staff is super courteous which makes you forget the taste.

+ 'Courteous' staff, good set of options
- the taste of the food is average

I heard about this place so much from employees of GR tech park that I finally decided to have breakfast here.
Ambience and staff is so amazing that it filled my heart with joy..Although food preferences as breakfast is not upto the mark but the taste compensate it.
Particularly Donuts and bacon strips are good..Crossaint and mysore aloo bonda is considerable.
If you guys wanna have a smoke after the food you can go to the pool area and sit on those elegant designed seats and have your time.
Good place for team outing. Nice ambience. Food is good and the staffs are well mannered. Cooks are really friendly and approach you for feedbacks. Head Chef Mr. Eshathullah asks for personal review from each and every people who comes to restaurant and takes feedback. Overall a good place to enjoy and fill your tummy!

While I had planned for a dinner at Barbecue nation late night, I was told that their reservations are closed due over booking. I was scrolling for buffet options in my nearby vicinity and came across DOT YUM. Never been before never heard any reviews, but wanted to give a try.

So with wide array of meal spread I did enjoy the buffet with a very warm and welcoming table service... my taste buds got d right mix of Indian n Asian mix palate which I had ought to look forward. Chef Esatullah was very accommodative of taking up special request to meet my son's taste buds which was delightfully relished.

Overall value for money with smiling service to accommodate special requests. Thanks to staff and Chefs as well.

Will visit you soon

If you are bored with the usual buffets arounds and looking for something quite unique & tasteful, Dotyum is the place to be.
First impressions : Amazing ambience and full marks for that.
Located at a quaint place and not too far from ITPL .
Has a few restaurants that are tastefully done with really good ambience.
Food is good if not above average but not that exceptional. Serves fish, lamb, beef & chicken along with different vegies too.
Me & wife had been there for dinner when it was raining.

Not so good impressions :
The whole floor was flooded with water as water seeped into the floor and even the restaurant too.
Service was very average and not upto the mark as the other standard hotels.
Restaurant had set up fresh fruits in a wooden boxes with mangoes & melons which attracted quite a lot of fruit flies and all of these royally flying around the desserts .
Which made me stop having the dessert even though they were very attractively arranged and decked up.

Note to the management : you have got a great set up & could ramp up to be a talk of the town by improving your service and food.

Got the aloft corporate boxed lunch meal ordered from here. The food was okay but too spicy and lacked flavor. The box had biriyani, dal, raita and sweet and was a bit tough on the tummy. Difficult to ignore free food but there is limit sometimes.

I went to this place for the team dinner and I will be very frank, the overall experience literary made me dull. We had gone for the buffet option with drinks.
Coming on to the food, I found it just OK nothing great which will make me to go this place again. Now the biggest disappointing factor of this place were their drinks. If you are having drinks at this place I would suggest go only for standard drinks like beer, rum n all don't ever try their cocktails and mocktails, which are really horrible here. I would say I had one of my worst Long Island Ice Tea over here and the roadside sharbats are far better than their mocktails. The ambiance of the place is decent.
But yes, I would never recommend this place for sure.

It was just a random visit here at Dot.yum. Right from the moment you enter the restaurant until you walk back with a happy tummy, everything was perfect.
Food was spectacular. Very pleasant and courteous staff who go out of their way to accommodate your requests.

Actually,we were invited for a Dinner Buffet & got the chance to visit this restaurant.First things first, the Ambience was very cool, nice seating arrangements, pleasant service, great display of the food, especially the Salad bar,Dessert Section. All together the food was ok,but I guess for an exorbitant rate, the spread was very little. But since,we were invited, can't complaint.

Chose this place for Team lunch and was pretty satisfied with the overall experience. We had the lunch buffet which started off with a lip licking welcome drink and an average soup. Then came the veg and non veg starters. Both had two varieties. Non veg starters included Chicken, which was pretty good, and Mutton which was not undercooked as I have experienced in most places but had too much masala so I would give a thumbs down. The spread was very impressive. The presentation was amazing. Pasta was really good. I didn't touch the rice items (which is an advice I would give people as it would get your tummy filled and you would regret it). Instead Of tried most of the other items kept in little glass bowls which was just the right amount to get the taste and enjoy it enough. Do try to get a taste of them all. The main course fish was almost perfect but a little too salty. There were separate sections for cut fruits which were all pretty fresh and juicy. The main part was the dessert. So many different items were there on offer and I enjoyed trying each and every one of them. I would advice you to avoid the ice cream + jamun combo which is pretty mainstream and go for the other many varieties. To sum it up it was a pretty good experience, nice ambience, good food and satisfactory service. If you manage the food amounts well you can make the most of the different varieties.

Very nice service and great food. Chef came and met us. We felt deeply touched. It was such a great pleasure and delight. We would love to come back again. We loved the food so much that we are still talking about it. Chef was very talented we felt so happy with his deliciously cooked food and also so satisfied after talking to him when he explained about the delicacies. Over all it was a great staff, a very good service and a great experience for us.

Went there for dinner on a monday night. The ambience is modern and light. We went for the buffet. The service was prompt and the stewards were attentive and took special care of us. Now coming to the food. only one word:"fabulous"! couldn't find fault with anything! The chicken starter was juicy and succulent, and had a perfect balance of spice and flavor. The Dal was very homely and had the right amount of tadka. All the asian and western spread was also great. The chef in charge, chef Amit also came and checked with us if our experience is good. He also gave us a custom made stir fry, out of the menu! Really had a great experience, would definitely be back and would recommend the restaurant to all friends and colleagues. Kudos!
