Review Limelight - Bengaluru

The Sunday brunch is value-for-money. Impressive are the wide-ranging menu, the ambiance, and the service. The magician who visits each table and performs as requested, together with the live music, deserve praise.

Limelight has a buffet with a good number of varieties. The starters of chats, were amazing. They served us Bhel puri, dahi papdi chat and Pani puri. Baby corn Manchurian and kababs were also served as starters. The main course varieties were a little less if you compare them to other buffet ranges in other hotels. There were many 4 racks of desserts available.. they were really good. Had many varieties of salads and they were good too. Overall service and food was good.

We’ve been there for some beer but we couldn’t because we were with our daughter. Kids aren’t allowed so went to Limelight. There were many tables outdoor, which was very nice. The hotel is so beautiful, looks like a castle of Europe. I especially loved those green creepers over the building, which seemed old and classy. We ordered cappuccino, orange juice, gobi manchurian and golden prawn fries. Coffee was too strong, it was still good. Every food we ordered tasted fresh and tasty. Prawns were tiger prawns, those were very big and filling stomach after eating even 2-3 pieces. My daughter liked it too. They served coffee with a jar which had full of cookies, that made us happy. Service was slow a bit, staffs were very kind and helpful. We’ve got nice pastries on the house., thanks for that again! It’s 5 star hotel, bit costly, only bad thing was the drainage smell.. there’s nothing the hotel can do about it.

Ordered a North Indian Nonveg Thali from here, guess what the meal was really wholesome and tasty. There was Chicken Tikka, Chicken Masala, Roti, Pulav, Papad, Lyangcha (sweet) , Dal Makhni and salads. The packaging is sturdy and is a bliss. Will order more from here. The food is real deal here.

Have been a regular guest @ Royal Orchid on Old Airport Road. Limelight is a nice restaurant inside Royal Orchid. Enjoyed my salad today. Quality ingredients. Multiple choice of interesting salad options including the healthy and vegan options. Good service. Good decor as usual. They have good indoor and outdoor seating options. Of course Royal Orchid has multiple restaurants and all are very good. Lots of parking space too. Good place for a meal in CBD area.

We visited Limelight as a friend of mine was throwing his reception party there and I must say this place came as a wonderful surprise to me. First of all the ambience, there is outdoor seating as well as indoor seating with live counters and live singing performance. There is also a bar for the outdoor space which you can include in your buffet package and wont burn a hole in your pocket. There are a myriad of food options available suitable for all types of palettes and is delicious too. There is valet parking of the hotel so you don’t have to worry about that. The only place where I could find a small scope of improvement is the desert section, it can be a tad bit more varied. A must visit for buffet and brunch lovers.

Merry Christmas Everyone! Been here on Christmas Eve 2021 for a lunch buffet (Rs. 1200+tax) which was good with respect to taste. However, they could've increased the varieties of food as it didn't include south Indian dishes and noodles mainly. There are a lot of places here to take pictures on during this festive season too. Also, I had used dineout pay for some discounts for the buffet!

A very peaceful place for a lovely dinner. Buffet starter options are not that many compared to other places in similar range, but whatever is served is of good taste and quality.

Ordered through Swiggy and I'm really impressed by tye quantity of yhe pasta they had sent. Would recomend.

A Sunday brunch at Limelight is for sure a green affair.. !! Gives you the feels of good old lush & green Bangalore back in the 90’s! The greenery sure helps you relax & enjoy their delish spread which is value for money. The Sunday brunch has an extensive spread with lots of space for the kids to run around & have their bit of fun. The patio setting is so peaceful so we opted for it. They also have indoor seating if you prefer the Air-con. There are 2 Options for the brunch, with & without liquor. They have live music, I had loads of fun as it was really brilliant with songs Most of us can sing along to😀!! Courteous staff! They have 5 live counters for the starters. I got myself a red wine Sangria & started off with some Of the chats ( aloo tikki chaat & dahi papdi chaat were my fav) & dim sums, the margarita pizza was perfect 😀. There is a salad counter as well. Also, the Lebanese counter is yum.. loved the hummus & baba ghanoush. Main course spread is also quite extensive, but after the amazing starters I did not try much from the mains, I did get a bite of the mutton Biryani 😋😋. The main course section, has a the live appam counter too. The dessert counter has cake pops, muffins, cupcakes, Indian sweets, custard etc.( don’t miss the toffee chocolate tart & flan 🍮 if it’s in the menu that day, both are to die for ). In all it’s a good brunch in an amazing setting with lots of space between tables so you have privacy to your conversations.
