Review Echoes - Bengaluru

Anushree Nigam
This place is really amazing. With mute people running it, there's a lot of peace in there and the staff is really friendly. They have a different of doing things like receiving orders, serving food, answering your calls, etc. Food is really amazing including veg and non-veg. The prices may be high but if compared to other places nearby, things aren't that costly. Ambience is also beautiful and different. It is picture-friendly too with good lighting.

Unique concept and one of a kind in Bangalore! As the name suggests, you will have to learn few basic sign language to communicate with the courteous staff here. You will get placards which says bills please, tissue, cutlery, water, etc. We ordered chai pakoda and satisfied our cravings on a rainy day. Music was bonus as it was live band playing amazing music. Service is always on par, food is amazing and ambience is simply great. Good place to be with friends and family. Would definitely recommend atleast a one time visit.

Was planning to visit this place since long, I read about it in a blog. The place is really amazing, the best part I loved was the ambience of the place. With a small opening that opens to a huge room it was very cozy. Also the staff of the restaurant are all mute and they talk to you in very understandable sign language. They also have a huge sign keyboard kind of thing that you can go through to understand the signs. The seating is very comfortable with cushioned chairs/sofas. They have a smoking area as well which houses a single hanging swing. The food is also amazing and adequate in quantity. We ordered Hakka noodles and tandoori momo and both were up to the mark. I didn't see any downside to it thus rating it 5stars. Ambience , food, staff everything is just perfect.

Good food, great ambiance, awesome service... what else can I ask for a good weekend. Kudos to their thought. A place which will offer you a great experience, and I am sure you will not go home disappointed This place has , by far the best Cold coffee. I loved their cold coffee. It was amazing. So, for the starters, we had Baked cheesy chicken nachos. It was topped with lots of cheese sauce which was to die for. Sufficient amount of chicken and salsa. Baked Lasagne for the mains. It really tasted good, sufficient enough to fill your stomach. Though it had too much of white sauce. A little less would have made it the best. But again, it didnt taste bad. The ambiance was very cozy and innovative. I really liked the way they used old designed utensils for their decor. And and and its 10 out of 10 for their service. I would not like to talk much about it because I would want you to go and experience it.
SAHIL ALI TONSE
Such a beautiful place. Food is decent but the ambience is so pleasing. The staff even though they are speech or hearing impaired make you feel like home. Amazing service. You can literally feel the love in there. Highly recommended from me! Pricing is average. I would still pay for the experience it offers. Great concept.

Really loved the place as the ambience was really good and it is followed by waiters who can't speak but could speak well through sign language. Everything followed by the way the food is ordered to the way you call the waiter is definitely designed for those who cannot speak. A must check out place and the choice food ranging from burgers to pasta to pizza are really good. They've got good selection. Was really impressed by the place.

It was amazing meet up with a friend, Echoes ambience and food is something you just can’t resist but to visit more and more. We had ordered creamy baked pastas and fiery chicken wings wow just too good with flavour and best taste to order atleast once :) had an amazing time and it was great night out. Music was extra bonus as it was live band playing amazing music.

A must place to visit when you are in Koramangala or anywhere in Bengaluru. This restaurant has a unique way to serve and you will always have a pleasant experience when you get here. The ambience of the place is really amazing. The staff here has vocal and hearing disability but don't worry you will be delighted to see even after their challenges they are so welcoming and kind. The service is excellent and you will get to experience a different way of ordering your food. They have great variety of Pasta, Pizza, Burgers, Noodles and Shakes. The menu has lots of variety and you would definitely like the place.

A friend and I went there at 12:30 in the afternoon. It was fairly empty then and got filled up in the next 30 minutes. The place does not look like much from the outside. But the inside is beautiful, with comfortable chairs and pretty lights We ordered Strawberry Lemonade, Veg Khema and veg pizza. The pizza was so delicious that I want to (and will) go back again just for it. The service was great too. Our server was fast and gave a friendly smile every time. Overall, a very nice place. I'd recommend it.
Gowtham Sadasivam
It's a great place to treat yourself with awesome food. I went with my colleagues for a team lunch and it was great. The service is very good and very polite people. It's really interesting to communicate with them in the sign language. If tasty food is your expectation, this is the place you're looking for.
Yashubebe9797
Unique way of serving or ordering food, as their are dumb and deaf as waiters who take orders and serve food. <br/>Also to comment on food quality is good quantity is less and price is high, It’s crowded as well.
Mahak Sodani
It just gets super crowded sometimes. And you will have to keep patience there. The food takes time. <br/>Would not recommend to sit outside...<br/>But the food is super delicious and worth the money
Sujit Thiru
Amazing food, the theme of the restaurant is just great. The most of the staff are Specially challenged ( Hats off to idea behind this ) . This definitely worth a visit .
Ajal
Unique experience i would say. No words to explain how you feel welcomed by the the staffs there. Do give them a thanks through sign language and see that smile 🙂
Ananya Chakraborty
Love the idea of this place. And the food is too notch too and it's good for pocket which is the best.
Aaliya Mariam
A very unique concept and an excellent initiative to motivate the physically challenged people..<br/>The place has cute ambience and decor and has an innovative way of placing the order..<br/><br/>Must try :<br/>1. Red sauce pasta <br/> KitKat shake
Sanchia Aranha
Loved the concept of having speech and hearing impaired staff. It makes the customers so much more aware and sensitive to people who cannot speak and hear. It also unconsciously makes us more kinder and care more. The food was great at Echoes! Especially the tandoori starters and flaming vodka chicken.
Chandni Uthappa N
It’s a cute lil place, servers here are special abled. Anyways it’s good to be at peace. Good music ..food is okay, kinda felt base of all the 3 chicken dishes were same. Sign language is really cool and it’s clean..sanitised ..all other stuffs! <br/>Wel...can try ❤️

Had ordered paneer tikka from here seeing such amazing reviewers.<br/>The taste was awfully tangy and not edible. Definitely lost my appetite for the evening right there.
Food And Bengaluru Kruthi
Echoes is a theamed restaurant in Bangalore. The ambience is on point. It was looking very lovely with all the lightings during night at the time I visited. <br/><br/>The staff here are, speciallyabled. Still the service is on point and it's the speciality here. One has to write down their choices as the numbers given from the menu. Loved the concept.<br/><br/>Not just the ambience, even the Food is also good. <br/>For starters I would recommend - Amsterdam fries(my favourite 🤤), mezze platter. Even tandoori Veg momos was good.<br/>Burger lovers you can try, runner up burger.<br/>Main course I ordered pink world Pasta. <br/><br/>So guys, visit this place and I'm sure you'll will love it.
Food And Bengaluru Kruthi
An amazing place in bangalore, they have their own theme which you don't see anywhere in bangalore. Here people who serve are specially abled and you should convey what you want to order by writing down the dish number. The Service staffs are so responsible. Loved this about the cafe. <br/>Food wise everything was good, the quantity was sufficient even.<br/>We had ordered <br/>Amsterdam fries - This was really good, full of cheese. Must try. <br/>Mezze platter - It was okeyish, contained different paneer tikkas and kabab and all. <br/>Runner up burger - This was really good here. <br/>Pink world pasta- This was good. The quantity was good for 2.<br/>Tandoori veg momo - The momos were amazing. <br/>Bhel breakfast tray - This contained roti with sabzi and more. Definitely loved this here. <br/>Mocktails and shakes - Both of them were good, and shakes were thick which made it amazing.<br/>Food- 4.8/5<br/>Ambience- 4.7/5<br/>Service- 4.8/5

Echoes have built itself around the concept of acceptance of all. The staff is comprised of specially aided guys (Let me tell you, these guys are super cool, attentive, and great at hospitality) and a few of them are general who are most likely less interest in the work.<br/><br/>What we tried?<br/><br/>Choor Choor Naan served with Dal Makhni, Paneer Sabzi and Raita. This was good <br/><br/>The veg kebab platter was fantastic, the tandoori Momos, we delectable, so was the mushroom. Rest the kebab, and paneer was just about excellent.<br/><br/>The Pizza with Spinach was good. The base was fantastic; the cheese blend was right too. You must try their pizzas.<br/><br/>The shakes here are amazing and a must-have.<br/><br/>The overall experience was amazing. A must visit. This reminded me of my visits to Mirchi and Mime, Mumbai.

Great food, great ambience and courteous staff

The entire concept of the place is amazing.... The food was great and the service staff were very courteous
Aakash Karwa
After paying the bill, I called the person who served us, and gave him a tip. Instead of keeping it for himself, he went to the manager and handed him the money. Look backed at me, smiled with a thumbs up. These people are from another planet. :)
Madhumita Choudhury
A unique experience is offered by this small cafe. Only sign language is understood here. The menus are to be written on a notebook. For good food , lovely time this is a must-go place

This hidden gem in Koramangala, serves some delicious food with a very noble cause and a great concept.<br/><br/>The restaurant is run by a bunch of deaf and mute people. Love the idea of providing employment to differently abled people. Salute to such a noble cause.<br/><br/>However, it doesn't affect the service in any way. It was the one of the best service experience I've ever had. The systems are so streamlined that there wasn't any difficulty for me to order and the servers to understand.<br/><br/>The food was really nice with a wide range of options in the menu. The star of the menu for me was Kebabs, Kebabs & more Kebabs (Veg & Non Veg)<br/><br/>They have really good options of drinks as well. My favourite being the Khus Bunta Bahaar. There are pretty decent options in milkshakes as well<br/><br/>I was slightly disappointed by the dessert options. There are not much options in desserts. I tried their sizzling brownie but the brownie was like a sponge cake. But I won't deduct any points due to the noble cause they're into<br/><br/>Food: 4/5<br/>Ambiance: 5/5<br/>Service: 5/5<br/><br/>Overall: 4.5/5

This place if one f its kind with unique naming that indicates the specialty of their staff who are differently abled persons. They do have sign language boards on entry wall making us feel & understand how to communicate with them.<br/>Place is not Really big but has nice woody ambiance, they have a switch with light at every counter making it easy to call waiters.<br/>Coming to food tried nachos, cream cheese pasta, farm fight pizza & Veg dum biryani everything tasted yummy & guitfree. <br/>loved oreo shake & virjin Mo.<br/>VFM: 4/5<br/>Ambience:4/5<br/>Taste: 4/5

One of a kind cafe to visit for good food in cozy ambience and excellent service. Loved everybit of food we had and enjoyed the services. Must visit if you are in Bangalore.
Gayathri Ramachandran
A must try restaurant experience in Bangalore. The theme is very unique. The staff are all speech/ hearing impaired. We can communicate with them through signs, switches, cards etc. Menu is designed with codes, so we can just write down what we want. And they tell you then and there if something is unavailable. Even the ambiance is very nice and quiet! The furniture is also tastefully decorated. Great initiative by the owner.<br/>the food is pretty good. Nothing extraordinary, but definitely tasty. They have milkshakes, mojitos, all day breakfast platters, pizzas, pastas, north Indian and Chinese. The service is quick. The staff are well informed!
Kumar Abhinav
Best food i have had in sometime.

Ananya Khatiwala
Ambiance<br/>-----------<br/>Awesome place to hangout.<br/><br/>Staff<br/>-------<br/>It has entire staff with specially abled persons and they are very very courteous. So humble and ready to help. Nice theme of ordering everything with a menu code and ring a bell to call waiter.<br/><br/>Food<br/>--------<br/><br/>Awesome taste and perfectly priced food. We ordered baked cheese pasta and mexican surprise pizza. Both were awesome.
Hemani Rawat
This place has my heart I was so touched by seeing the staffs there how they motivate them. Ambience is so good and the food is awesome I just love the chicken starters, pizza.
Navneet Singh
I am regular customer with Echoes, but I have seen there service getting deteriorating. There staff is not at all welcoming and want you to leave table asap. Last time food was half cooked and today staff was mannerless. I think it was last visit today at Echoes. They were really good but today with heavy heart I feel I won't come here again.
Half.Plate
Made my visit to this very know place in kormangala. They have a multi food menu beginning from Indian, mainland, Chinese and Italian. With this beautiful concept where the serving staff is deaf, You have a pad on your table to enter your dish's code to place the order. <br/>The food is bang on the flavours. I would highly recommend their chicken tandoori momos, chicken tikka platter and the veg thali.
Kshitiz & Pihu
Great experience. loved the place and food !!<br/>Overall, my experience was good and service is quick and apt, made me want to visit this place again.

After being tired of our whole day local tour, we found this cute cafe on Zomato and thought to dig in and try. You can locate Echoes in a narrow lane of Kormangala 5th Block.<br/><br/>The ambience was cool, though the cafe arena isn't that big as you see in pictures.<br/><br/>Coffee was something we had in mind, but we ended up changing our plans by ordering cool mojitos and shakes.<br/><br/>A great thing which I was amazed by, was the way you get to order your food. Straight to the point!<br/><br/>Here, you choose what you want to order, and write its respective code. Since the servers here are special and use sign language, using the codes we wrote, they'll go ahead and order.<br/><br/>Here is what we decided to chuck :<br/><br/>Mix Lemonade and Virgin Mojito were very refreshing and Butterscotch Shake ended up being one of the coolest among all.<br/><br/>We didn't go for a fuller course and only had a few starters.<br/><br/>Honey chilli potato: It was tasty and crisp, seasoned with sesame, making it one decent starter. Though, this was not the best I had till now.<br/><br/>Classic Fish n Chips: Fish was fresh and crisp making our palate crave it for more. The fried along with it were great as well.<br/><br/>Veg steamed momos: Though I do not opt for vegetarian momos much, here - it blew my mind. It was simple with loads of taste and served with chutney.<br/><br/>CONCLUSION -<br/><br/>Food: 4.5/5<br/><br/>Ambience: 4/5<br/><br/>Service: 4.5/5<br/><br/>Total Experience: 4.5/5<br/><br/>Overall, my experience was good and service is quick and apt, made me want to visit this place again.<br/><br/>If you are in Koramangala and is willing to try something refreshing or ease your stress, buddy, this place is for you!

For starters, we had the baked nachos and honey chilli potato. Must say, the best baked nachos I have had till date. Definitely must try. The honey chilli potato was also really great. It was really crispy and good in quantity. <br/>For the main course, we ordered veg red sauce baked pasta. Again, a true delight. <br/>Coming to the ambience, really love the concept of having specially abler people to serve us. It was a whole new experience all together. The entire place is altered to suit their needs. The music is good. It’s a cool and cozy place to go to on weekdays. Weekends it gets super crowded. I have visited this place 3 times before this and ended up going someplace else as the waiting time was about 30 minutes or more. Recommend to try this place on weekdays only or non peak hours. <br/>Cheers. <br/><br/>Ambience: 5/5<br/>Food: 5/5<br/>Worth for money: 5/5<br/>Staff: 5/5

Visited this placed recently. The ambiance is quite decent yet amazing with very good vibes.<br/>The service and staff is highly appreciable.<br/>Ordered:<br/><br/>Veg tandoori momos(4/5): Very good in taste, as well as quantity, good enough for two people.<br/><br/>Cheesy fries(5/5): Crispy masala fries loaded with cheese, amazing combination and flavour.<br/><br/>Cold coffee(5/5): Not too sweet, not too bitter, coffee made with perfection.<br/><br/>Overall,it was an amazing experience.

Starting from the concept of this cafe, it’s different and really impressive. The service was commendable. <br/>The ambience was very romantic and nice. <br/>I absolutely loved the nachos. It was delicious. The perfect crisp, sauce, flavour, cheese. It was great. I am definitely gonna visit this place again for the nachos.<br/>The drink - Peached ice tea was also really nice.<br/>The pita bread and humus was great. The bread just melted in the mouth, it was really soft.<br/>Would love to try out other food items here.<br/>A big thumbs up to this place!
Vipin
The place is just wow and when I say it's wow it includes every bit of it - the amazing food, great vibes, the whole new process of dining and serving. One should definitely give it a visit and experience how things are managed just fine. We had ordered for Chilli Cheese Toast, Tandoori Momos as starters and in Mocktails we took Virgin Mojito & Black Current. It followed Baked Lasagna and Sizzling Brownie at the end.
Sanjana S Patil
Mediterranean food and tandoori Momo's are awesome. I just loved overall experience.
Anamika Pathak
This is one of the best places for some interesting items on menu. The coolers are great (try R1). Veg tandoori momos, honey chili potato and chicken barbecue burger are a must try! The staff is extremely friendly and the place mostly has a long queue on weekends so it's better to reach early
Trilok Manohar
I feel this place is given good rating for the people who work there. It's indeed really good idea to employ dumb and deaf people and plan the ambience accordingly. But when it comes to food, it was average, had ordered for Baked Nachos and paneer burger (Runner up), the taste was very average and all items on the menu are overpriced.
Kunal Baidya
This place makes you feel that nothing is impossible in this world and you can achieve excellence no matter what the circumstances.<br/>Even with their deaf and dumb staff the service was quick and prompt. Live music was great and in line with the cozy ambience.<br/>Food was equally delicious.<br/>We had chicken peri peri wings, chicken biryani and dessert also was delicious.<br/>Great work you guys. Hats off!
Shubhi Gupta
Very nice place..more than food, the ambience and people touched my heart. Such a courteous staff. It was such an amazing experience to have interaction with them. Nachos are good when it comes to food. We also tried Momo's but they were ok.
Fill_your_tummyyy
This place situated in kormangala is the best place to visit. The people working here are deaf and dumb which is really appreciated .It is indeed a great initiative :). The food is great, ambience is great, staff and service is great :).I would recommend to try chicken Biryani, paneer sizzlers, makhani pasta and the burger :))
Aman Dixit
Nice place<br/>Ambience<br/>Food Quality-3. 5/5<br/>Service - 4/5
Anu Sharma
A must visit place. The hospitality is the best. I loved the ambience and food. Lots of love 😍
Akhila Boga
This place was so calm and pretty. The only back drop is the waiting time as the seating space is very less and it gets crowded in weekends. Coming to the service it was very very slow. But the food was absolutely delicious<br/>We ordered spring rolls - which were crispy outside with a good filling inside<br/>Butter chicken platter - contained two laccha paratha and butter chicken with papad<br/>Chur chur naan with shahi paneer and dal makhani<br/>All were so tasty and good in quantity.
Prerna Toshniwal
The coffeee was amazing! Pasta was served in a theatrical manner with vodka and was lit.
Shivam
Went for having all veg Christmas brunch. The place has an deceptively soothing ambience which remains so no matter how crowded the place may get. The concept is indeed very unique, but what is more admirable is the thought that has been put into each process that has been taught to the staff, leaving little our no score for misunderstandings. Heartening to see such a delicious soya chaap being served - a must try! Baked nachos is another must try. Baked lasagna and Dairy milk Chocolate shake were good, coffee was good considering the sensible pricing. Overall a great experience and a rare place having good quality continental and North Indian food.
AMAN KEDIA
This is more of a concept place. The people serving in here tend to be differently abled. They have streamlined the entire ordering process for the waiters to understand. Food was not that great but in all a great concept.
Pratyasha Mishra
So happy to be here! <br/><br/>After a lot of "research" and anticipation we ordered : Masala Fries, Fish Tikka Plate, Tandoori Chicken Momos and finally, as we did not possess a sweet tooth, settled for their Fiery Chicken as our 'dessert'. <br/><br/>Great staff and we got served our food pretty quickly, and needless to say we enjoyed trying out all of the dishes above. <br/><br/> As a spice/heat aficionado, I'd expected and hoped that the Chicken put would be blazing hot and make me cry a bit, but it was good and mild. A dash of habanero hot sauce would have been good. I also liked how every appetizer dish had a "Malai" and "Tikka" version too!<br/><br/>Good ambience, great concept and the very best of food.<br/><br/>Cheers!
Fathima AbdulKader
Wonderful initiative with amazing food. The decor is very quaint and the food quality is really good. The selection of music is also very good. The fact that the waiters are all deaf people given an opportunity to do something worthwhile is a very happy thing to know. It is an establishment that makes one calm down and be patient with the process of eating out. The chicken lasagna was creamy and rich and filled with succulent meat and good spices. The burger was everything one would expect from a burger - gooey, flavourful and comes with a side of fries. I will definitely go back again and again to Echoes.
Payal Dhar
It’s a lovely place but the food is ordinary. The service staff are very good, and I appreciate the opportunity to learn to communicate differently.
Aakash Singhal
I really appreciate the cause, ambience is also great.<br/>Food was really bad, I’m not sure why is this place so highly rated. I tried pasta, burger, hakka noodles and butterscotch shake none of it was good, actually it was really bad.<br/>Would appreciate if they can improve on the food part.
Kriti Sahore
Only loveee for this amazing place! The service staff is so understanding and friendly. <br/>The food is impeccable, especially their pizzas and pastas. <br/>A must visit for foodies 😍
Aditya Siriguppa
The food was so good. It is maintained by disable people and they are very good at their job, they were maintaining it so good.<br/>Food -4/5<br/>Service - 5/5<br/>It is worth to visit this and experience the service of them.
Jahnavi Kumar
The place has a nice unique concept with good ambience. The food was equally good. I especially liked the nachos and the butter chicken. Should surely visit once.
Sriprabha Gopalan
I am shocked to see the high rating for this place. The only thing I liked about this place is that they provide opportunities to differently abled people and the staff does a great job in attending to the customers.<br/>We ordered tandoori Momos, soya chaap, paneer makhani pizza and pink world baked pasta, all of them has almost the same flavors and taste, nothing exceptional about any of these dishes. The worst thing that happened is a cockroach crawling over our table and entered the plate of food!<br/>For such a high rating we had a lot more expectations from this place in terms of food taste, and especially hygiene of this place. I wish this was just a one time occurrence and the place is free of cockroaches.
Prakhar Mittal
Worth going once if you are in Bangalore.

This place is a must visit for the Momo lovers. The Momo platter consisting of a divine spread of juicy tandoori Momos and Afghani Momos will definitely fill your mouth and heart with joy! The shakes are also thick and tasty. Ambiance is cozy and service is quite prompt.

Not a single thing about this place is bad.<br/>Food is amazing, staffs are amazing and their place is not so big but still it’s great.<br/>I did pay a visit once there with my Friends and we ordered almost everything that we wanted to try.<br/>“Fish n Chips was really really Delicious”

I should say it's an experience being here. The loved the staff and the ambience. Ordered for Heart Attack - Chicken burger with loaded cheese and it's to die for. Fresh and juicy chicken patty. Never been so happy with a burger. I think they are tad bit expensive but I think the food is fantastic.
