Review Kitchen On Table - Bengaluru

Anand Subbu
Although a relatively small place with about 6-8 tables, this restaurant has a very unique experience where food is prepared right at the center of the table. The quality and taste of food is definitely commendable. The starter variety is pretty good. Soup was yummy. Main course is prepared on the center table, comprising variations of fried rice, stir fry veggies and noodles. The chef Mr. June who attended to our table was a multi-talented person. Starting with setting the table on fire (literally), his stunts with the kitchenware and knives were impressive. His finale card trick will leave you in awe for sure! Speaking of desserts, only ice cream (and a limited set of flavors) is included as a part of the buffet. This will leave a sour taste if you're someone with a sweet tooth. Overall, the buffet is a tad bit expensive for the variety of food provided. Also that both veg and non-veg are charged the same is a bit out of the norm.
Guru Murthy
Food was very limited for vegetarians and cooking is on the same table so not great for them. Otherwise plenty of options for non veg and good service. We had a dedicated waiter and cook on our table and they were very attentive. The cook (Amit)made it fun with his skills in spinning the eggs and breaking them mid air. He also allowed us to try that and made it memorable. Definitely a fun place overall due to the people. We were happy to pay 6% service charge which was clearly mentioned on the bill.
Sirajul Muneer
Very different place to taste Japanese delicacies. Serves both veg and non-veg dishes, that are absolutely delicious. They also have live table preparation for the main course, which is good to watch. The staff is very humble, attentive and offer a really good service. The food served are really good and offers you a world of new tastes. The restaurant provides cozy seats and have a good ambience.

Great concept, great food, great chef! We were served by Keshav and he did an amazing job at keeping us and kids happy throughout! Must visit, highly recommended. 1 star deducted for ambience of the place. Its a small place that is not very neatly designed, but once you are at the table/kitchen, none of that would matter. :) Loved it!

Went here for a team dinner. Not crowded, loved the presentation of food. Was a different concept in terms of dine-in. Good food and very happy with the way food was cooked in front of us and served. The chef's at your table, do have some tricks under their sleeves to entertain you, They would even allow you to try a few stunts with while cooking. Had a nice evening.
Kartik Desai
Good place, should visit for the experience. Food is cooked right in front of you and cook also plays some magic tricks while the food is cooked. There are good variety for starters and main course is restricted to fried vegetable and rice/noodle based food. Only area I think it can improve is in dessert. You only get a scope of ice cream for a premium price. Else should visit once just for the experience.

Hey if you ever want to eat food that looks good and taste better then this is the place you need to go. We had an amazing host who entertains with magic tricks and and cool moves with knifes and tools. We had an amazing experience. keshab was our chef and will definitely recommend you to ask for him when you come here. It was a great treat to be here on out friends birthday.
Abhiram Natrajan
It's a great experience. With live kitchen and chef infront of you, you have a treat to your eyes and for non veg lovers the dish Unlimited is amazing. The chef also entertains you with his magic tricks and jocks. A complete experience and great place to go during weekend with friends and family.
Sajan Stanley
Amazing experience :) worth the visit. All the chefs there are good hosts. We had kids at our table so our wonderful chef was showing off his juggling and magic skills. We enjoyed it a lot. A good place for groups.

A nice and affordable sushi restaurant. The live cooking options are good and the chef listens to you. They may even surprise you when you least expect it. Sushi is good. Ambience was very blue the first time we went. But the next time it was fine!

A awesome place if you want to experience something different. It was on 1st Jan, we went there. Live kitchen is a table where you will need to share with 2-3 couple or people where master chef comes & prepares Live kitchen dishes right in front of you in the table & serves you. If live kitchen tables are full. You can opt for normal table too. Where prepared food will be served. In summers avoid live kitchen. It will be hot out there. We liked it. Experience was different. Chef is expertise in showcasing his talent also in breaking a egg. It's entertaining. Fire πŸ”₯ on table to prepare dishes in quite interesting. We liked Salmon recipes there. People can try chicken & veg too. But less options for vegetarians. Good staffs. I feel ambience little small as per its design. Otherwise it's good for food. Parking available there.
Gorev Khanna
Good food but seemed expensive. They charge for kids between four to eight years. Have both options of kitchen on table or normal one. The chef demonstrates juggling with utensils before preparing food, if you ask for which could an entertainment for both kids and adults. They prepare both non veg and veg. Main course variety is rice and noodles and do not expect chapati or roti here. Not much variety of desserts.

An awesome place for authentic Asian food. Live cooking on the table is the main attraction. Professional cooks with great skills. Best thing is that you can customize your orders. Sushi is very good. A place worth trying.
Naveen
Good concept, worth visiting once. There is cooking on your table with fire and magic. Food is made to your taste and is best for people who have taste buds for non-chilly food. Had a long chat with the owner and he is very proud of how he is achieving satisfied customers. His second franchise is already operational and third big one is coming up in white field soon.
Shubhadeep Ghosal
It is a novel App...which allows you...to learn and enjoy the cooking by Chef on your table...the food and also the company. The group, the family or the friends sit around a two tier table. They order some items. The cook quickly prepares the item on your table itself and serve you sample to taste. If satisfied you get more. While cooking the smiling cook entertains you..sometimes he shows magic....some other moment he creates camp fire...creating the fire on your table itself prompting spurt of clicks from mobiles. The ambiance is very good so also the personified handling of people by the staff. We enjoyed our get together at the Kitchen on table.

Excellent food, excellent service. Opt for a live table if you want a memorable dining experience. Special shout-out to Chef Keshav who kept us thoroughly entertained with his witty banter and his skills during the preparation of our dinner. His KOT prawns is a definite "not-to-miss". He even performed a magic card trick at the end of the dinner. If you happen to be in HSR, do drop in here to pleasantly surprise your taste buds!!! :)
Divya Balabisehan
Place is really cool, they cook few items on ur table if u choose for live table. Taste is really amazing both veg n non veg. Don't miss out Sushi, was really tasty ! Prices are lil high with service tax. Otherwise worth trying for someone who is looking for change in environment n taste ! I did learnt how to use chop sticks, chef for our live table thought me :p
Gaurav Gupta
Muksidul served our table , service was quite good and entertaining, he also guided us what to eat in the menu for vegetarian dishes. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and the ambience
Swarna
Food was great though!

Our live counter Chef Keshav was extremely talented and very professional in his work . He had good hospitality too .
Taste of food also very good .

I ordered take away, and was really not expecting much. The sushi was fresh and delicious, the mock meat is really superb (though it contains egg, sorry vegans), teppanyaki assorted mushrooms were very garlicky but yummy, and the noodle dish and Thai curry were pretty good too. Veggie sushi that we enjoyed most: kakkiagi maki and veg fried. Overall, my whole party was very impressed. They did take a long time to service the order, which led to dunzo guy being upset, but quality of products was top notch.

If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, then this is the place for you. The live kitchen was really fun. The chef was very friendly and entertaining. He showed some card tricks as well. Scallop was the best thing we had. But it was too expensive. Hoisin chilli potato was good as well as prawns noodles. Sushi was just new to the taste buds but only dissapointing thing was chicken fried rice. Nothing special about it. So if you are going to fill your stomach, its not a suitable option for u. But for entertainment and trying something new, then it is once in a lifetime option. The ambience was good as well and tv screen and dance floor was available. But no one was interested in dancing so it was all vacant.
Vaibhav Gupta
Superb and very pocket friendly place. Very private and happening setup
Ankit Kumar
Went for buffet. Staters are more but main course are only two. Even deserts are 3-4 types. Services were late. Feels like per head buffet cost is more compare buffet provided
YADU MUNTHA
This is one of the restaurants which I visit quite often. If you want to try a different concept, tasty starters and experience the live cooking then this is the right place.
Sriharsha
Food is good and experience is unique. There are very few restaurants like this in city. I would recommend every foodie to visit this restaurant.
Roman Mouchel
The japanese food is far more expensive than in Japan itself and the quality is far below...
They should reduce their price or provide better quality.
Shanmugam Rathinam
Really great starters. We went for team dinner and we all enjoyed lot, each and everyone liked the starters. Lot of variety of fish and veg starters also great. They can think about the main dishes and desserts as they have only 2 options in main dish and only ice cream for dessert.
Anshu Ajai
Been there with family... Had an amazing time... The stealer of the evening was our chef on the table, Keshav, he was such a lovely person, he kept us entertained till the end of our dinner with his welcome knife trick in the air and a heart on the stove base with an egg... That was cute... Followed by many card tricks which actually amazed us... He said he is going to reveal the tricks on our next visit.... Without any doubt he was paying no less attention to the food he was making for us right in front... Loved the soy mock veggie.. It was great... Must visit if you want to have fun with your friends and family... 5 star to the chef Keshav!!!
One of the best presentations I have seen w.r.t pure food preparation. The kitchen on table gives you an exclusive cook to prepare food on your own table (however you need a group of 7-8 people).
The cook not only cooked our choice of food but entertained us as well. He had shown magic, shared experiences and not to forget juggling with egg & his cooking utensils. He even let us try as well! :D
Food quality is very good. Ambeince is not that great but interaction with the cook and his way of delivering dishes is a completely new experience.
Drink is not served here nor it has Zomato gold. But I do recommend this place just to experience something new. Well done! :)

We had below items and all are good. I won't say something highly recommendable. The price is high as per quantity and quality.
Chrispy thaichi chicken, dragon makki, BBQ hot wings, lemon grass chicken, thai chilli prawn, mickey mouse
Bithika Dutta
The concept was exciting, went for a team lunch. The ambience and the food did not manage to keep up with the expectations. Over priced for the quality of food served. The best part was the chef showcasing his excellent cutlery handling skills and surprised us with his card tricks (Kudos for that!)

Abhilash Ramachandran
Loved the concept .... was a refreshing change.... the check cooking at our table was extremely friendly and courteous... made some brilliant garlic butter prawns... Did a few stunts with the cutlery and some magic tricks with cards.... was fun... the grills were tasty especially prawns and barbeque chicken... we had the unlimited option for 1000 rs... and main course noodles he made it to our liking.. spicy.... overall a good experience for a change.... place is a bit too small though...
Sajeev Chandrasekhar
Amazing food and extremely courteous staff. The only thing this place loses out is on the ambience and interior decor... The chairs are extremely of poor quality and very uncomfortable.
The live cooking chefs are masters in their trade and cooks up dishes with amazing theatrics

This place is a gold mine which is untapped in my opinion....

Keep up the amazing food quality and taste guys!
Aishajya Bordoloi
The live kitchen is amazing.
Good place to go out with your family or friends. Good ambience and friendly staff. The food is really good. πŸ˜„

Nice food... Ambience is not that great... Not recommend for hangout ... You can eat the sushi food over here... food tastes good and will be cooked on your table

Food: Many starter varieties are there. Food is not spicy. Some food taste really good but, Still not recommended for spicy food lovers. Not the place at all! For a different food experience you can visit here!

Place: We can either choose live table or normal table. Live table is where the chef will prepare certain dishes in front of you entertaining too! He did some card magic too later ! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Cost: starters anywhere between 230-400 I guess! Fried rice was 280 and noodles too with the same price!

Service: Very good! Keep it up guys! But a little late in preparing food! Could improve in that!
Lagnajeeta Roshan Ali
The dishes weren't upto mark. We went there seeing the rating quite high. They don't have simple dishes like chilly chicken or drums of heaven which was mentioned in recommended dishes in Zomato. We ordered the cold drink which was served without fizz, tom yum soup which was just ok and quantity not upto price paid, Hakka noodles was salty and the chicken starter was amazing in taste. There is lot of improvement in terms of food preparation plus not to forget service was slow. But staffs are good.
Saloni
Pretty goood sushi!!!! Everything that we ordered came in just about the right time.the Thai chilli prawns was really good.the quality of prawns in this place is really really good I was impressed.good price for good food
Debashish Chakraborty
Would definitely recommend the Maki rolls, quite a flavourful experience. The concept of live cooking on the table is an unique and entertaining experience but it begins to get old with a second visit. Definitely worth a try if you never had sushi before.
Gaurav Ranjan
Tasty food, the recommendation from the waiters could be better though. The ambience of the place was a little quiet one more on the dull side. Could be improved a bit.
Divya Nagrath
If you want to experience live cooking on table, then this is the place to be. Went here for team lunch. Waiter serving us showed few magic tricks and juggling skills as well. Food is good in taste. I felt the variety is less for the price they charge.
Dullal Ghosh
Awesome Food, Awesome Theme, and Awesome Performance, yeah I mean Performance, literally.
Β It is not just about the Food but the Affair we develop with the Resto ...
Shankar S
Try it and you will like it. You have to experience the cooking .... waiting for an opportunity to visit again . Better with a gang of friends ... most of the chefs are good with their tools and magic shows . It's an experience .
Prabhu Swaminathan
Unique Concept but not impressed.
1. Welcome Drink - Just soda, no mocktails
2. Dessert - Standard flavor ice cream scoops. Not even toppings.
3. Main course - Fried rice or noodles
4. Water - charged at MRP
5. Starter - 7-8 veg starter and couple of non veg. The taste was good.
6. Ambience - Nothing impressive.
7. Price - Rs 1000/person.
Sushi is not included in Buffet. Surely not visiting again.
Ipsita Duttagupta
A very innovative concept executed poorly and falls flat on the face kind of place. Oh what a rhyme! Even more pathetic was their service.
Me and a friend decided to try this place for an early dinner and ordered for a grilled fish Satay and
Spiced salmon maki.
The Satay was sweet in taste which was a little weird, but what irked us more is that the maki was just plain. Not the usual spicy types, and the restaurant manager tells us that's how it is supposed to be. And refuses to even incorporate feedback. Also, the wasabi was strangely pretty bland.
Oh and we were seated on the social sharing tables meant for live cooking and the chef who was performing the live cooking act was actually so energetic with his huge knives and cutlery that it was all over the place and enough to freak us out.
Damage: Rs 1100 and definitely not recommended. They need to work on their service a lot, and for god's sake train the staff.
Radhika Bhat
We had paid for order and one item was not delivered, even though full payment was made, the worst service ever : just looting people in name of online delivery

Kitchen on Table, a very differently themed restaurant. Yes, the chefs cook on the table. They are not chefs but magicians too. They create magic both on the table and off the table. Kudos guys! You kept us entertained throughout the lunch. I would like to specially mention about the chef who cooked on our table. I may not get his name right but his name was "Miksidul" ? Awesome guy. He cooked really well and showed us some of his magic tricks. I managed and got to learn one of the card magics from him :). Overall the place was amazing. Food tasted great. Some dishes like tempura prawns and sushis are worth a try.Β
Keep up the good work guys! We will definitely come again.
Pradeep Nayak
The place is amazing , definitely go with the live table... our table chef muksidul was just amazing... highly recommended... all the items must try..
Swarnim Narayan
The service was great. The food was simple yet the flavors were right on spot. No BS, good food right on the table. The sushi was pretty good and simple stuff like hakka noodles had the right taste. Couldn't find much to complain. Seating can be better but they have a cooktop on the table so that's a constraint they'll have to live with.
Ashwini PaiMallya
This place is amazing! Great flavours of food along with perfect hygiene and ambience. As we were waiting for the mouthwatering food to be made in front of our eyes, the chef didn't bore us. We were entertained with magic tricks. He gave us an opportunity to cook with him! They have great culinary styles. He cracked eggs in style. One of them was cracked by me. He spun it and asked me to flip it over and as it fell, it cracked. This is not something your mom gets to do at home. Not just the cooking, but all the flavours of various cuisine bursts in your mouth. This is a great exposure for those who are willing to know what goes down in a chefs table top. Do visit this place. Its amazing!

It was our second visit here, we came back because the food earlier was good but now the food is extremely bad. Also, the manager there whose name is " Raju" Needs to learn some manners as he doesn't know how to talk to the customers. We asked him what is recommended here and he started body shaming us and he decided on his own how much quantity should be sufficient for us. They burned our salmon on the table, we got it replaced and chef managed to burn that again. This place has lost its charm now. Not worth the hype and price anymore.
Adarsha
Only reason for 4star was crew members needs to interact more in local / English language than there mother tongue. My family had bit confusing conversation with crew members. And service was slow between the dishes.

AmbianceΒ was nice with low volumed music. Crew were children friendly. Best part is as name says kitchen on table. Watch what is getting cooked. The chef was very polite and friendly.

Food was tasty. BBQ lemon chicken was Delicious. On the fly prepared noodles and fried rice was very tasty.

One of a kind experience in Bangalore. Our chef Mr. June who was born in July was attending us for the afternoon. He is super friendly and won't let you get bored even for a minute with his magic tricks and jokes. Its a really nice and cozy place. What I loved the most is the sea food and the different varieties of sauces they used.
Ritika Prasad
Awesome delish food, very friendly and interactive staffs. Great sashimi must try. In short, if you want to experience your food, this is the place to go. Great food quality.

Came all the way from Philippines to make us happy. He will always say... I am June, before July. I loved it. Loved him.. cheers to this place. Love from Punjab ❀

The restaurant is having good concept. The service is good with magic tricks. We liked Susi and they were delicious. We went for Saturday lunch and it was almost empty and got good service.
Asthaa Malbotra
This restaurant never stops to amaze me.

Their ambience and service is amazing. Their starters are worth visiting them for a third/fourth/tenth time. They have magic tricks hot tables to keep us entertained. Their main course didn’t seem amazing to me, but I would definitely go there again for the entertainment and starters.
Swati Goyal
Very interesting place to go as they make your food on your table in front of you. I loved the place and food. The staff was very polite and entertaining as they were showing magic while making food.
Wonderful place for a different experience. They cook food in your table and it’s a super view. Chef Musidun did an amazing job. The food was yummy...

The name itself says it all "Kitchen On Table"πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ yes, they cook on our table, fresh in front of us..!!πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ Being a Puja holiday,we had the place all for ourselves...& that's why the ambience was pretty calm & since we were 7 in number,we had a table ,all for ourselves. We were greeted by a Philipino Chef,Mr.June(who was born in July..hehe)..He was the Master of the ceremonies which were ready to follow later...We sat around the table & he started the fire!!Well,we thought of everything which could be cooked in front of us,on the table & selectively ordered KOT Assorted vegetables,Teriyaki Chicken,Garlic Butter Lemon Chicken,Udon Chicken Noodles & Japanese Sticky Chicken Fried Rice...& ordered a plate of Tori Furi Maki ,from inside the kitchen..As we were waiting for the starters,he started to gel with us & surprised us by his simple, sweet magic tricks!!then came the KOT Assorted Vegetables..to be frank,I am not a vegan, but loved the dish due to the different sauce used in it..& we ordered it twice for the day..it was awesome!!πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ Then in between, came the plate of Tori Furi Maki(Fried Chicken Maki) from inside kitchen. It was tasty as well & relished the dish. Then the Chef continued his magic & prepared the Teriyaki Chicken, which was soooo good due to the Teriyaki sauce πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ Then he prepared the noodles along with sliced vegetables & chicken...it was another yummy dish, which tasted deadly due to the sauce used in itπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ Then he prepared the Chicken Egg fried rice using Japanese sticky rice..that was tasty as wellπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘...so you can clearly say its "ALL THAT SAUCE" the different kinds of sauces used in the different dishes that give the taste!!After all these dishes,we felt like trying something more & asked Mr.June wether he had something special?? He suggested a philipinese Chicken preparation which he called Chicken Adobo & which was named as Garlic Butter Lemon Chicken in the menu...it had a lemony flavour with a medium spicy sauce..which was another tasty dishπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ All together,it was Entertainment,Entertainment & Entertainment!!πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜Even if the rates are on the higher side,I would suggest all to visit this place, atleast once..Its worth a try!!You will love it..I loved it & that's why giving them the Fiver ratingπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ Keep it up KOT!!πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ

The best dining experience I have had so far!
Sushi is very authentic and extremely delicious.

Live cooking by the Chef June was the highlight of the experience. Charming and talented - he enthralled us with his cooking skills and magic tricks.

I will definitely be back and would highly recommend everyone in and around HSR to try this!
Kapilmalve
Awesome food. Chef Mr.June has amazing skills. Magic tricks while food is being prepared is quite interesting. Worth visiting again.

Ambience can be improved. Limited variety of food.
Ankit Agarwal
Nice concept but the food is very average. They need to work on the quality and taste of food being served. However the concept of bringing kitchen on the table is cool. Not all the dishes are prepared on the table so ask before ordering.
Tanisha Mishra
I love going to that place again and again. The concept of kitchen on the table itself is so interesting...plus the food and the service is amazing. Highly recommended!!
Fiona Js
We were lucky to have chef June serve us and his enthusiasm is very very contagious. You can see he loves to cook and feed the people sitting before him. He entertained us with magic tricks, card tricks and his amazing sense of humor. His food is excellent, the tempura fried prawns and other assortment of sea food was beautifully cooked.
This place is must visit for the personalized entertainment and yummy food, its very family friendly.
Rahul
Easy to locate.
Ambiance not great.
But food is yammi.
The chef who cooks live.. really has got lots of talent.
Japanese starters.. where perfectly cooked. As per our choice. Value for money.
Suggestion go with group you will get a whole table and a
personalized chef.
Enjoyed his card tricks. Perfect place for a family
Will go back.
Vineeth D J
Very good ambience. Chefs are polite, skilled at cooking and do magic tricks as well! Definitely recommend if you want to bring along a date or with friends and family.
Manish
The place very disorganized. Took them more than 45 mins to serve the starters. Food was ok. Service is very very bad. They don't have enough chefs so you will have to keep waiting for your turn for the chef to come to your table. After one hour they tell us their equipment is not working.
Nikita Kashyap
Had seen this place on zomato and wanted to try cause of concept.. Chef June is the lifeline of this place.. he makes your experience and food fun ,great & magical..

Go for experience and have fun..
Best try outs among what i did is saute veggies.. spicy noodles and fried rice.

One improvement veg fried rice had just carrot and onions.. but nothing can beat the taste..

Its also pocket friendly..
Rating is for the experience..couldnt take pics sorry
This is one of my favorite place from today.
It's a different place and one of it's kind. They have done justice to their name.
All the chefs were highly talented and friendly. The food was delicious, and an addon was the magic trick displayed using cards. Overall experience was wonderful and worth remembering.
Ankita Sonal
We decided to go to this place for my friend's birthday celebration. This place is based on a concept of social dining, so if you seek for privacy on your table, then this might not be the place. So we were seated on a 7 seater table with another family, and ordered our own items. So their menu is divided in two parts, and they have buffet as well. There are only a couple of items which they prepare on the table in front of your eyes. We ordered for soup, mushroom starters and noodles. Both the mushroom starters and noodles were prepared in front of us. The staff I must say are very friendly. Our chef for that day, showed various magic tricks and other skills.
The food was decent too.
Simran Dokania
Kitchen on a table provides you with a very unique dining experience and authentic Asian food.Β

The restaurant looks average in terms of interior decoration but it is the food they specialize in. I and my friend opted for a buffet. The starters were pretty good. We couldn't get enough of it. The main course dishes were cooked by the chef right in front of us on our table. Literally, aΒ kitchen on the table!Β They also kept the audience engrossed by showing some card tricks. The quantity of the main course dishes was good. However, the main course food items were not as great as the starters in terms of taste.Β

Overall, if you want to have some delicious finger licking food with some entertainment then you should surely visit this place!
Preethi
Very lovely ambience And Staffs were very friendly. Kids enjoyed the new experience of cooking on table. Muksidul was the staff who made lovely magic tricks for kids and a
For us too and totally entertaining the whole dinner cooking for us..

Finally a great place to eat in HSR. Chef June kept us engaged with his tricks throughout the dinner. Unique taste all items. Sushi was good too.

If you’re craving for genuinely good food with personalised entertainment, this is the best place to visit. On my first visit I opted for separate table but that that day I decided that I surely need to go back and enjoy the live table, and so we did. Our family had a memorable time with Mr. June , who impressed everyone with his live juggling and magic while we gorged on the finger licking food cooked right in front of us. Keep it up!
Vicky
A decent place at best.
Very few tables and if you are a small group, difficult to get a table in weekends.
No good waiting space too.
Food was decent.
Only USP being live tables. But if you need one, you either have to be a big group or should not mind sharing table with other groups.
Customer service was good though!
Amrita Mittra
Had a great dinner experience last Friday.. Special mention to Chef June for being our chef at our table.. He tossed up some of the best Fried Rice and Noodles I've ever tasted.. A must visit place.. Do ask for Chef June to cook the delicacies for you..

Kitchen on table is an amazing concept restaurant but, personally it disappointed me.
Walked in for Sunday lunch and found, the restaurant is almost crowded still the staff members asked us to join the table which is already occupied by most number of people and it really turned me off.The restaurant can accommodate only few groups due to sufficient space and need to work on ambience. There is a little darkness on the other side of the sittings.

After waiting for some time, we finally opt for A’la carte and it take a little while to get our food. Don’t wanna to complain about food since the chef behind the Asian cuisine is superb. The portions are generous and quality is good.

Apart from buffet, their menu list is vast with Asian delicacies, mock-tails and dessert, serves hot, fresh and at cut-price.

We devoured :

KOREAN FISH :This brownish Korean version Barbecued fish is simple, shiny, spicy yet deliciously smoky served with crunchy healthy coleslaw, red chilli pungent dip and spicy mayo which is a perfect appetiser to nibble on.

TERIYAKI SALMON : As most of the time we savoured Chicken Teriyaki, first time we go for Teriyaki Salmon which turns out a complete winner and I wonder why I have not tried this before, amazingly tender, juicy ,flaky, moderately sweet, scrumptious with full of flavours and perfectly glazed with teriyaki sauce.

SUNSHINE MAKI : This greenish hued maki with Orangish tiny eggs of flying fish totally lives to its name and is a salmon and tuna rolled with sushi vinegared rice topped with fresh sliced avocado burst with seafood flavours and gives a onolicious symphony to your taste buds served with nice soya-sauce, reviving wasabi and pinkish pickled ginger.

It was a super-great food but unfortunately it wasn’t an enjoyable experience. I highly suggest to visit early or book a table in advance to enjoy their buffet.

Rating:
Β
Ambience : 3/5
Service : 3.5/5
Food : 4.5/5
Value for Money : 4.5/5
Parking Availability : Yes

Was very disappointed with the place. Went with my family for dinner- the starters were the only decent stuff about this place.
The place is dingy, dimly lit, structure is of a house converted into an eating place, tables congested, the decor is too dark and the servers wear black which makes the place even more dim. The service was polite and that was the only plus point.
The food is just average and I was surprised it had a 4+ rating. The pricing for that food is definitely higher- we went for the buffet.
I wud rate as follows out of 5
Food - 3, starters 3.5, there is barely any main course in the buffet which they serve at the table
Value for money - 2, not worth it
Ambience - 1
Some people may like it because of all the bbq style but it’s no Shiros and one of the chefs really had a terrible sense of humour.

Good for college kids going only for the buffet but I wud not go if u want a restaurant experience.

The nicest place. You never get bored while you have your food. The food is prepared freshly infront of you. Such a charming chef June. Showed us magic tricks, egg trick. It's a family restaurant. We stayed for 3 hours and really liked it. We will come back again.

A pretty unique dining experience.
If you are looking for Asian food, you could try visiting Kitchen On Table. The well skilled chefs cook what you order right on your table. The drama of the whole experience is pretty interesting and the chefs even keep you entertained with some tricks and banter while they cook for you.

In terms of decor, the place is average, dont expect anything fancy, the whole thing is about the experience of the live cooking.Β

We were 6 of us and we chose to go with the unlimited food option and boy do they serve loads of food. At no moment we ran out of food. The taste though is average except for the ones that the chef cooks fresh for you. Thats lip smacking good.Β

A good experience for a change

We'd been here for lunch on a weekday, and might I add what a fantastic lunch it was! We'd opted for the buffet, and were immediately served with soups and complimentary soft drinks. My sister really wanted to try some sushi and the fantastic service gave us four pieces of fried shrimp sushi absolutely free of charge.

When we were done with the soup, we were offered a plate of each starter. Each and every one of them were amazing. The tempura prawns and lemon chicken barbecue were the highlights here.

Then, we met the head chef himself, Mr. June. He was very accomodating of us, knowing it was our first time at his restaurant. He began by introducing himself and was very happy when we could guess that he was from the Philippines. He told us about his family and how he came to open his own restaurant chain here in Bengaluru.

He began cooking for us by first starting a humongous oil fire on the table that touched the ceiling. Then, he juggled an egg with his spatula, broke the egg by catching it with the side of the spatula mid-air, and began drawing a heart and writing his name out with the egg that dripped out.

Then, he cooked for us and explained his ingredients, his sources, and why he loves what he does and has been doing for years and years. His fried rice was to die for and the teriyaki chicken and his special shrimp were mind-blowing.

He ended with a magic card trick that seemed impossible and then left us there stunned; satisfied bellies and all.

The only disappointment was the dessert since it was only a choice of chocolate or pista ice-cream and I would have loved to see atleast some wasabi ice-cream or the famous Japanese cheesecake included in the buffet but ofcourse, we were so full that even a bite of ice-cream was too much.

All in all, it was a fantastic afternoon filled with entertainment and delicious food and would recommend this restaurant to anyone that is on the fence about trying Japanese cuisine for the first time as they make it really accomodating for us Indians while also maintaining traditional tastes.

I wish Mr. June and the entire KoT staff good luck!!
Cramped and food is not that great I mean it’s average yes the egg breaking and all is entertaining but at the end of the day if the food is not upto the mark then what’s the point also they should make the rice and chicken together not separately anyway lack lustre

We headed towards this place on an afternoon for lunch and it was much crowded that day we couldn’t actually avail the option of kitchen on the table. We tried a delicacy of chicken and prawns. The food was tasty and the service was also good. Good to go if you wanna try different cuisines.

Loved the concept. Food was great. Watching the chef cook your food before your eyes while juggling the cutlery and showcasing little tricks was a delight.

Over all a pleasant experience.

Their service was good. A different experience altogether but I felt their dishes were lesser than Barbecue nation and the Absolute. The chef's were good in their way of cooking (stunt show). A one time restaurant just for their cooking style and service.

Great place lovely food. I enjoyed the fact that I could see what was being made. Loved the Yaki Soba noodles(buck wheat noodles). It was very soft and delicious. The proportion of sauce was just appropriate to not let it over power the taste of the other ingredients. The Sakana Lemon butter garlic was also yummy. The chef June was wonderful. He is certainly a wonderful chef.

Nice place if you want to experience the cooking just in front of you on your table but food is average compared to the price they charge. Ambiance can be improved. Overall good for new experience but not to visit again.

Unique concept. Entertaining staff with their juggling skills and magic tricks. Enjoyed our dinner alot . It was a different experience.. Butter garlic prawns made by chef Aman( I guess that's his name.he is from Himachal Pradesh) was outstanding.i hope next time they won't serve the soup with a plastic spoon..

The food is yum. I have tried their chicken udon noodles and its really good. Only thing is that last time when i ordered the packing wasnt good enough and almost all sauce and juice leaked out of the packaging. It still tasted good, would have been 5 star with the sauces intact 😊

... fried rice came all sticky and soggy. Looks like cant even manage fried rice.

One of my all time favourite place....excellent service quality of the food is superb and the owner Mr.Murugan is a very nice humble person who take so much care of his guest...they have a live table where the chef flaunt their amazing cooking skills and also if you are there for Japanese food then their platter is a very good option...Dragon maki is a must

The first sushi I ever had was here and yes I did like it very much and staff had the patience to teach us how to use the sticks. (But yet failed to eat with that) . One thing which we didn’t like was the service was taking too much time. This place literally is the kitchen on table as they serve you food right out of fire on to your table.

It's a good concept to make your food in front of your eyes may be but it might not be cool with many because of the smoke that gets irritating sometimes. Nevertheless, food is decent but can be improved much. I tried sushi, chicken fried rice and fish in garlic lemon sauce. Fish was a little salty and the rest were fine. Price is a little on the higher side. Didn't try the buffet. Might try it the next time. People living in hsr or nearby can give it a try for sure. Good service.

The service was too slow and our order got delivered to somebody else. We waited for 45 minutes and then walked out without having main course. I wish the management to review this.

wouldn't recommend the cottage cheese gravy.

Real good 🍣

We ordered in a Thai Red Curry(chicken) and a yellow prawn curry. There was very little meat in both. It is highly over priced for the quantity offered. The food itself was also very average.

After Zakir Khan's advisory notes about Sushi , you need guts to try it. I tried Yasai Maki(sushi) here and realized Zakir needs to visit here once. He will definitely find it delightful. It was really good although I was a first timer.
The staffs were really friendly. Especially the chef!! His culinary skills at the cooking table was a treat to watch.

Went there on a Friday evening with my friends. Everything except for the buffet is too expensive at this place. There is a scope of improvement in the food’s taste as well.

Ordered in a maki sushi. It was soggy, definitely tasted like something prepared hours ago. Disappointing experience

The food is just too good I don’t have words to describe the food and the staff is very friendly the tricks done by the chef is insane he even wrote our names with an egg the ambience is fine the food is cooked on your table but the restaurant is a little bit small prices are reasonable
