Its situated in lower ground floor of Phoenix mall. We had been there many a times and they serve one of the most consistent tasteful food. They serve a range of beers too.We get cocktails and mocktails both.We tried watermelon mojito which was great. They have pastas and burgers too.

Barley and Grapes, located on the Lower Ground floor of Phoenix Mall, is an open-style pub with an ambiance that I absolutely love. Whenever I visit the mall, it's always my top choice. I first discovered it back in 2017 when they had a happy hour offer on beer, with a pint of draught beer priced at Rs 67. The offer continued until 2018. One thing I appreciate about this pub is their consistent taste and menu prices, which are lower compared to other pubs/bars in Phoenix. They have a few items that are both delicious and pocket-friendly, except for their Lasagna and Pizza. Here are my personal favorites with their ratings: 1. Fiery cheese pops - 5/5 2. Fiery chicken pops - 5/5 3. KF Draught beer - 4/5 4. Lasagna - 3/5 5. Pizza - 4/5 Recently, I tried their new Mango Rush KF draught, which was offered at Rs 99 for a mug. It was truly enjoyable. However, I should mention that they have recently increased their menu prices, so it may not be as pocket-friendly as before. Nevertheless, it's still worth giving it a try.

This place is good for chilled beer and light food after strenuous shopping , most of the food tastes good except for the pizza , the base is always uncooked , must try is cream of chicken / mushroom soup

Overall it was a good experience.. service was good, and staff is humble. Taste wise we had vegetarian platter..was good for 2 adults, and the sauces were goos too. Mango flavored kingfisher beer was good too.

Great place at one of the most premium malls in Whitefield Bangalore. Continental food choice along with a glass of chilled beer in a fantastic ambience is great !! The taste of food is really super with food getting prepared in front of you . Staff behaviour is also awesome . 5 stars from me .

This one is a small cosy eatery bang on the lower ground of the phoenix market City. It's right in the middle and people walking and shopping in the mall can totally see you dining but in spite of that if feels cosy. We ordered a half and half thick crust pizza. It was really tasty. We didn't try anything else but I enjoyed the taste and the ambience. Would definitely try out again for other dishes.

We had couple of starters and cold coffee Peri peri chicken skewer was awesome Fish and fries was also nice. Only downside was the chicken wings which had a weird taste Cold coffee was average Overall good experience 👍

Recently visited this place on Saturday and what an amazing place it is. It’s been 5 years in Bangalore but never came across this place. It’s a small cafe in phoenix market city mall. And the process are much more affordable than the other brewery in Bangalore. Food was also so yum

This place is an area in the corridor of pheonix mall -1 floor. They have good music. The food quantity is slightly less than normal. Prices are the average price of any bar. They have draught beer, but most in menu were not available. I ordered coriander chicken skewers and peri peri chicken wings. I liked both the dishes. They were delicious and were little more than the expected taste. Wings were spicy and had flavour. Also had chicken lasagne. That was more of chicken cubes curry between lasange sheets, but tasted good.

There was no taste. They are charging very high amount for each dish but the quality of the food is not up to the mark. Very disappointed.

I loved loved their ambiance. Such a cosy, out of the world cafe with some amazing staff. I tried their herbed chicken with pesto sauce and rice, and their orange juice (Don't remember the actual name). The food was brilliant! Soft chicken with some really juicy, and thick pesto sauce. The dish is a must try and was excess for one. The quantity is really good too.

This is my go to place if I’m in Phoenix . I love every item in their menu. I love their bbq wings. This is one of my fav, they are roasted to perfection. Which is a definite try . <br/>This place is quite affordable as well.<br/>Overall I would rate it 4/5

This has become my go to place whenever I am hungry and tired after shopping in pheonix mall. For my last visit I ordered thin crust pizza which was good , service was also good considering the busy time of weekend.

Used to be my favorite place for the food and didnt mind waiting for a table even if it took 30 mins on a weekend.<br/><br/>But the last visit though the wait was the same, the food quality seemed to have gone down. Had ordered a double decker burger and hunter chicken served with potatoes and rice. Though the burger was good, nothing exceptional for the price and brand. The hunter chicken were some chicken pieces in tomato sauce served with baked potatoes and rice...<br/><br/>Love this place for the food still and one can try out some dishes here if in the Mall.

Had to ask for water multiple times. The servers won't refill your water by default and even when asked, only refilled for the person who asked and not for others on the table!

I tried out this place a while ago primarily owed to tge reviews etc. I was sorely disappointed, although in retrospect it was not because the place was terrible but may be due to my higher expectations.<br/><br/>For one, its located in the corridor/walking space of a mall akin to Hagen Dazs or Cookie man (which make better sense since its really nice looking at icecreams and cookies as u pass by) plus on an elevated platform, but I personally so do not like people gawking as you're eating or drinking. The food was okay, maybe above average but I was already so put off by the ambience (or lack thereof) that it did not register.<br/><br/>All in all, go only if you're okay with the location.

The service is pretty slow and also I feel the quantity is less.. the quality can be much better. Prize are on the higher size.. although the food was good but it can improve.. the ambience is cool as it is in a mall.. the desert was very nice.. the pasta was less creemy

I have been to this place a lot of times to grab a pint of beer but never tried the food. Last Sunday, I and my friends went ahead to try the food too. It was simply great. The staff was very polite and understanding. It’s a must visit for all those who wants to grab a quick bite and have a chilled beer with friends.

This is quite a nice place located at phoenix market City in Whitefield. I went there with a friend of mine and we ordered some starters like grilled prawns and peri peri chicken wings which were really good. The service is quite fast. We didnt have to wait for more than 6-7 mins for our starters to arrive.<br/>Number of tables were less... So there are chances that you might have to wait for sometime to get a table. Max waitting would not be more than 25.

The ambience is perfect for setting your day right. Great decors with flowers though small but nicely decorated and designed. Staffs are polite and friendly. Food is great. Sangria wine that I ordered was nice. Every time I have visited the restaurant, I have left with a smile.

First of all I love the ambiance and the atmosphere of the restaurant. The open restaurant concept is great. Food is good but little bland. I wish they make it little more spicy. Also I wish there were few more things on the menu. I love their thin crust pizza and pastas.

Their draught beer is my favourite. One of the few places who serve Budweiser's draught beer. Food choices not so great, they mostly have finger food but taste is good. Decently priced. I liked their prawns.

Located conveniently in lower ground floor, this outlet lies in the corner next to lifestyle. We walked in here on a hectic day filled with lot of shopping. We ordered fresh budwiser beer which was refreshingly good. We ordered veg quasidella which was served piping hot with ketch up. It tasted really good. Next was the turn of veg burger which was the best burger I had in my life. It was big, juicy, fresh and lively with taste. It was accompanied by crispy French fries. The music was loud sometimes but was ok. This is a good place to relax post a hectic day. It is a simple and cool place to hang out. I would prefer this and would love to visit this again with my family.

We visited this place for dinner after tiring hours at the mall. We had baked Mac and cheese, and the GBU chicken. Mac nd cheese was good, and chicken was well cooked, it was decent. Not much of an ambience, in middle of all the shops and noise.

Disappointed to the core. Reasons :<br/>I visited this place at the Bangalore airport and the servicing was quite fine. Though today I am visiting the Whitefield branch and it is not worth a single penny also.<br/>- Waiter took the order repeated twice for 1 starter +1 main course + 1 dessert.<br/>- after half an hour he came with 2 main course that too none of those were the right order.<br/>- after half an hour got our starters - prawn butter garlic - below average.<br/>- main course - barbeque fish with herb rice - it's tasty but not worth the wait<br/>- waiter does not know how to pour a beer also (not that it is so important but you expect a few things when you visit a place about which you have heard a lot).<br/>- dessert - newyork cheese cake - no dont even try!<br/><br/>In short if you can't handle the only customers in your restaurant and mess it up so badly what will happen with more customers around?<br/>Done with this place for sure. First time visit to this place.The ambience what they have here is pretty ok and comfortable. First things first..since the place is in open its too noisy and you get distracted very easily with the other people walking by!! So for me the look and feel is a showdown.<br/>But now coming to the other important stuff.. the service is very prompt but would really like if the waiters give water right away to customer and we dont have to ask for it or wait until we order.<br/>The shakes and iced tea was okay but what really brings the rating to this and holding on this is the potato wedges.<br/>I would say that the place is easily approachable and if you want to grab a bite, rest and talk for a jiffy this will serve the purpose.<br/>☆""Food is Memories""☆

The food and prices are good but I must say what distrupts the taste of this place is the service. The last time I visited too they had kept us waiting long for the food and today too I was left much disappointed. I waited for 20 minutes to get a table( and I was cool with it, definitely not something that they can control). Though I utilised this time to place the order in advance so I dont need to wait much once I get the table. Initially I had to remind the staff atleast 4 times that I am waiting for a table as no one bothered and people were coming and sitting without the staff bothering that I am patiently waiting for a table. Finally I got the table at 2:25 and was anxiously waiting for my order. Trust me I waited till 2:55 pm and then requested the staff for my order all they did was just tell me that it will come in 2 mins but again till 3:05 nothing came. I was pissed by then and decided to walk out. Really dissapointed and request the management to take some seriousness towards the service. You have great chefs ad probably a hard working staff( maybe) but you really need to pickup on the management.

I have been quite a fan of your food but this Mac N Cheese was such a big disappointment. I was struggling hard to find cheese in this but it was all about Mac N Mac N More Mac ! Please improve it because it is such a beautiful and simple dish. Quite Disappointed.

Let me start with the service - very good, I love it when the beer is served in the frosty mug and it’s only Rs 99. The pizzas were super crispy with fresh veggies, the chicken pizza was good too. The only slightly dissatisfied dish was the fresh fries- a bit too oily. Perfect set-up, very reasonably priced and tasty food and chilled beer.

I stopped by here for a post mall walk lunch, having heard nice things about the food before. Situated bang in the middle of a corridor and without any walls, I was a bit nervous at first as I personally don’t like dining in open areas. The food put me at ease though. <br/><br/>For starters, I had the B&G version of spicy peanuts and chili cheese fries. The former was pretty good, with the right balance of spice and flavors. The fries didn’t have enough cheese though, and even the spice was quite mild. For the main course, while I ordered a baguette style sandwich, my mum had the veggie pesto pizza (which I also sampled). The pizza was wafer-thin, as described on the menu. And it was delicious! The sandwich, not so much. Not much of a baguette type bread too, and it was too crumbly (read messy). Stick to the wafer-thin pizzas, they are the redeeming items on offer here. <br/><br/>The service was a bit slow and inattentive, which was surprising considering we were among 3 customers at the time. The staff seemed more interested in their own affairs and cellphones. Too bad, it cost a star. <br/><br/>

This is our go to place for lunch when were shopping in phoenix. The ambience is relaxing, great vibes and the smell of fresh food cooking is always welcoming. The shepherd's pie, salad with Kalamata olives and appetizers are great to enjoy with a chilled pint or a mini wine bottle. Do not leave without getting a slice of the new york cheese cake! It's one of the best I've eaten with a crunchy base.

We just suddenly decided to go to this place as we were really tired shopping and I am glad this was a great decision to eat here. The place was first of all looks very pretty with flowers and the food which we ordered : chicken Caesar salad- amazing taste and a fish starter.. which was okayish. Thus 3.5/5, wish the fish tasted better.

I love the food there. Especially the cheese balls that they have on their menu. It's a perfect balance of cheese and breadcrumbs. The ambience is good, a nice place to hang out.

The food is good. There is high mismanagement and absolutely no accountability of the staffs. First time we visited it as better. Now the entire stuff is confused. They get wrong dishes, make people wait for place saying 5 mins when we waited for 25 mins and left

Happy to be back for reviews!<br/>I had visited Barley and grapes Cafe in phoenix mall whitefield road, couple of days back. It was good dine out, even though it was solo. I guess it was the 1st time in 8months I had continental food in Bengaluru. Food taste was great. I had ordered a Basil chicken dish with peach iced tea. I was little susceptible about the peach iced tea, as it felt more of a lemon iced tea. So instead of asking, I decided to wait for the bill, yeah it was peach iced tea (but with more flavour of lemon). Basil chicken was with herb rice and tossed veggies. Chicken was perfectly cooked with veggies also tossed to the right amount. I don’t know if the quantity was less or I was more hungry, I decided to order french fries (love for fries never dies). Then I saw on the very next table to me that you get fries with Burger. So my next order was peri peri chicken burger. Again great taste and this time my tummy was full. <br/>The only thing I didn’t like was the delay in orders to reach from kitchen to my table, even though there where handful of customers and also the place is small to get crowded. One reason could be I was alone and thats why less priority for them. The cost is little high, but I don’t mind spending for a good taste!

Been present in the centre of the mall makes it an amazing ambiance. Servers are friendly and courteous. They are known for their greatly priced Beers. Must try their Wafer thin Pizza, Chicken Burger, Spagetti. A must bisit place with your family for a hearty lunch, snacks or dinner.

I do love eating here, located right in the mall. In my experience, it does get busy at times - I had to wait for a while with almost every visit to get a table. I’m not a big beer person but my friend enjoyed his mug. We had the cheese croquets and some nice chicken spaghetti. Finished it off with a mojito. The service was good!

This restaurant is best for people who want to try something different to satisfy there taste buds. Well the chef knows what he is cooking and the food tastes just awesome. The overall ambience is good owing to its location without any walls, towards the end on the ground floor if the Mall. I was hungry like mad and this was the first place I saw when I walked into the mall. Although the food was definitely tasty but nothing extraordinary, the quantity was way too low for the price you pay. I don't care what the calorie conscious people think, when you are hungry you've got to eat and that's what a place like BGC is supposed to do. You cant serve main course like finger food. Period.<br/><br/>The ambience is definitely what you would get from a street side or a street facing restaurant minus the honking and vehicle movement.<br/><br/>Overall it was a good experience. Will I come back again? Probably not when I am hungry but to taste the rest of the menu and have a pint of beer which by the way was super chilled when I was there.

I wanted to visit this cute place in Phoenix since a long time. Finally I went to meet a friend at Phoenix and decided to sit and chit chat at this cafe. The ambience is very pretty and positive. We ordered milkshakes along with garlic bread and potato wedges and I must say I had the best potato wedges ever. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We even got a 10% discount coupon for our next visit. Cherry on the cake is that this cafe is even pocket friendly. It is totally worth the cost.

Good place to hang out with friends or go for a dinner.. The Fish and chips was good, other items were okay. They really need to work on the pizza. The service was a plus! The people are really polite and well behaved. The service is super fast!

The best butter garlic prawns I have ever had. Also very good quality of food. Also liked the piccata Spaghetti here. A great place to dine, a little expensive.

Ambience - I like the way they have used the space in the middle of the walking area. This is a nice place to have a mug of beer . It's an open setup at the lower basement of phoenix market City . They serve beer and wine only. Coming to the food, it's good but not that great this is the only area that requires good improvement . Since this is an open setup the prices are pocket friendly.

I love the place but utterly disappointed when I reached the restaurant on weekday at 10:30 pm and was told that we are closing, pls give quick order. Zomato suggests the restaurant is open till 11 pm.<br/>Wish employees are better trained to handle customers and ready to compromise 5-10 mns.

It's a small kiosk running through the walkway of the mall. Great set up but the food sadly was not anything to write home about it. It was just about average, though the wine made up for it. I ordered the Shepard's Pie and it was nothing like how a pie should be. The fish and chips was however quite decent, yet again not fantastic. Wouldn't mind stopping by for a quick coffee but definitely not a meal.

Food is very tasty. Lamb burger is succulent. Mostly Indian wines and some beer available. Simple and stylish decor. Friendly staff. Good place to relax and have a bite. Strongly recommended!!!!

Hopped in for a quick bite as we all were famished after shopping, I like the simple setup, very well done.<br/>We ordered grill chicken n herb rice, chicken skewers and grill chicken pizza. grill chicken was well done.All were good except the skewers were lil more greasy than I what I prefer.<br/>Brownie with ice cream was all usual, nothing special. Creme caramel was great.<br/>But the service was great and quick too, easy on pocket too. 👍

Initially thought of this as a quick snack place in Phoenix Mall however turned out to be a good food joint with delicious fresh food servings in mall’s atrium. A small place with its own uber ambience right in the midst of all hustle bustle of Phoenix Marketcity. I have visited this place umpteen times and still cant raving about its food. I have had everything there and any of you reading this review.. go ahead order anything from the menu.. and it will be good for sure especially their prawn and fish starters and also the mains such as Grilled Basil Chicken in herbed rice, chicken parmigiana with spaghetti, chicken catalana, grilled prawns in herbed rice and not to forget the super thin pizzas and their aglio olio spaghetti. I love going to this place and would recommend all those visiting Phoenix to stop by here for perfectly chilled beer and some lip smacking food (especially after a tiring day of shopping 😝😜)

Barley and Grapes<br/>This place has been my go-to place whenever I have to have a non-planned dinner in Phoenix. It is opposite Lifestyle on the LG floor of Phoenix Marketcity. It has a very cozy and warm feel to it. The place is open and doesn't feel congested at all. The staff is warm and courteous too, just a very inviting environment in general.<br/>Their food is great. I love it all. Its very fresh and indulging. <br/>My general list of appetisers contains:<br/>1. Cheese Garlic Mushrooms - love them. I am a BIG time mushroom lover and their mushroom appetiser is great.<br/>2. Spicy Chicken something - i forgot the name, but it was delicious. small bites of deep fried chicken. Fresh and delicious. Their outer crisp was very very appetising. <br/>For main course:<br/>1. Mushroom lasagne: This is my ALL time favourite here. I have lost count of how many times I have had it here. It is THE BEST mushroom lasagne I have had. It is my food dream come true. I love it. Just takes a while to prepare and arrive at your table.<br/>2. Their fish main course (all of them) are delicious. they are light and leave you wanting more every time.<br/>3. Chicken burger is great too. Although undoubtedly I like their other preparations better.<br/>For drinks:<br/>1.  Jalapeno Love Spritzer: I tried it the last time I was there. These ppl can make u fool like anything. We ordered lamb stew and they brought a dish with some starter n rice over n called that as a stew. Soo bad service that they first told it as lamb stroganoff n we said we dint order it. Later They served us the same dish as it is saying that is lamb stew. Like tht they make ppl fool n serve anything they want. Very very unprofessional n unwelcoming.<br/>

The place we visited today with my friend it's is located in phoinex market city at lg floor. Rounded lg floor so many times and used to go big Bazar for shopping but never checked in before it's is right place if you wanna have mug of beer quickly.<br/><br/>We ordered pizza,quesdilla, masala peanut and beer etc. Food was good can be more better but who's care if u wanna have some drinks.<br/><br/>Service was outstanding given by Mr vikas. Honestly speaking, i was a little sceptical about dining in an open area of the mall with shoppers tending to ogle and stare at the diners.<br/><br/>Nevertheless we decided to give it a shot. We were seated and presented the menus and decided to try the Fiery Chicken Poppers and Grilled Fish as well as Grilled Fish Cacciatore with a virgin mojito and draught beer to chase.<br/><br/>The food was excellent!<br/><br/>The fish was done perfectly and went well with the accompaniments. The fiery chicken poppers were under-salted but tasted yum.<br/><br/>Next time you go to Phoenix Mall, definitely give this a go! Been to Phoenix N number of times and crossed this open set up very informal place. And finally we land up at this place. No fancy chair and tables.. high chairs and low sitting give it a trendy look... No pre reservation needed keeping in mind we were only 4 pax. Ordered beer which was little flat mind you they only have kingfisher. Food was good in taste ate continental after quiet a while espagnole was OK... But I would have done a better job at it. This sauce has always been my personal favorite since I joined catering college. Sauce was not customized though like lot of restaurants in India. Decor good... Food OK... Price wise economical... Service which always is an important aspect for me... Looked like the steward was new in job and dint know much about items enlisted on menu... Over all OK place.<br/> <br/><br/>Review 2 from 4th visit... this place was rated 3 earlier and now one add on star for not letting me down on my 4th visit as well. Went there few days before 31st Dec 2019. They introduced a new menu for 15 days and was lip smacking... Pita bread with humus was perfect... Dip consistency was good...Had perfect amount of tahini... olive oil on top was icing on cake... only flip side was sweetened julienne of beetroot. Grill fish in mustard sauce was nice and lemony... Fish used was well cooked and well marinated. Sauteed veggies size could have been brought down as it was little hard to fit in mouth :-). Prawns in tomato and onion curry nah... though the pic looks like that and even the gravy will have lot of Indian taste but somewhere you will get the conti flavour. Overall good experience... Friendly staff... helpful and a must visit when in Phoenix... NOTE: they do serve beer and wine... Not to forget the affordability point...

You will find this place at the LG floor of Phoenix Market city. A small cafe decorated sweetly with galssbottles, fancy flowers and the sitting arrangement is over a wooden desk, with wooden fencing. The tables are with a smiley tag and a table lamp makes the mood more perfect. The food chart will make you smile with its normal prices of foods and very cheap price for your milk shakes, but this cafe don't serve cold coffee. They also serve chilled beer. I asked for red wine which was in their chart but they didn't have. So we opted for normal milk shakes 126 bucks each, were really tasty. But both were too much sweet. So we could not enjoy the dish we had taken. So if you don't prefer sweet so much ask them to lower the sweetness, so that you can enjoy the other dishes to. They also don't take any service charge, if you are happy with the staff you can donate some at the counter. The staffs are really very good with their service and all. <br/>
