Review Kund - Bengaluru

Little Foodie Girl
Stumbled upon Kund one afternoon while in Indiranagar and decided to have lunch here. the ambience gives a very homely vibe - you could just walk in to go have lassi, chaas or have a complete meal. We opted for the latter, ofcourse! tried some starters and then ordered the North Indian Favs, Paneer Butter Masala, Dal Makhani and Some Hot butter fulkas! needless to say - they were delicious. We finished with some piping hot Gajar ka Halwa. The staff was very welcoming too :)

Have been visiting this place from past 13 years and it has never disappointed A perfect place to try authentic North Indian cuisine !! The ambience is pretty simple but their food is top quality! Loved the flavourful tandoori chicken and soya chaap is a must try!! Their masala kulcha is too yum and a highly recommended!! I

This is one of the oldest hole in the wall kinda joints, serving up some delicious North Indian cuisine for over a decade now. Do not let the interiors fool you, just go in for a hearty meal packed with flavors and deliciousness. I've been going here for over a decade now and finally decided to put up this review. What I usually order here is their chicken tandoor items, paired it with a stuffed aloo kulcha or kheema parathas. Don't forget to order their oh so yummy Dal makhni and gheelicious Gajar ka halwa.

Kund in Indiranagar might be a small spot, but it's a culinary powerhouse. The cozy ambiance adds to the charm. What truly stole the show, however, was the incredible and authentic North Indian food. From the first bite of the Malai Soya Chaap to and Achari Paneer Tikka to the last spoonful of the Stuffed Masala Kulcha, Ghee Rice, Paneer Lababdaar, and Dal Makhani – every dish was a revelation. And oh, the Gajar ka Halwa was the perfect sweet ending. Kund proves that great things come in small packages. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic North Indian flavors in a quaint setting.

It's a 20yr old North indian restaurant based in indiranagar. Amazing food quality. It's pure authentic North indian food. There are plans to improve and enhance their ambiance. North indian people are going to love this place for the taste of food. Definitely a go to place. Zomato & swiggy available too.
Subramanian G
A very quite good place to have tandoori food. It is budget friendly and they are very much customer friendly 🙂

Craving for North Indian cuisine in Indiranagar? @kund_bangalore got you covered with their authentic North Indian flavours. Started with jal jaega and mango lassi followed by soya chaap and chicken tikka. In main course stuffed kulcha along with dal makhani, paneer masala and zeera rice. Hajar halwa in the dessert was so yumm. This restaurant is 20 years old with a rustic ambience.

Good food, thali was awesome, two thali is good for 3 people with extra rooti, we had starter tandoori, mutton sheek kabab, there thali sabji was awesome and daal makni was really good. Four star given for only food, ambience is very sad, they can make it very good if they want, second isuue was bathroom, they had in next shop paratha plaza, but was not at all clean. In a restarsnt its must to have a washroom that also clean.

One of the best places for North Indian god in indiranagar. This place has been around since 2003 and the quality of food has never declined. Some mouth watering seekh kebabs is what you should expect from this place. Their naans and mains are straight out of the kitchen to your plate and are always steaming and delicious!
Sridhar K
Kind of a curb side kind of restaurant. Menu is simple yet cover wide range of Punjabi dishes. Taste was good 😋

Decent place for North Indian food. The dal, tandoori roti and kali mirch chicken are great. Tandoori chicken misses the trick. It's a simple setup with 10-12 tables. The kitchen doesn't seem staffed for bulk orders. The service slows down if more than 3-4 tables are occupied. But if you are missing simple North Indian food, Kind is a safe bet.

Have been to Kund many times in the past, they just renovated the place and had gone for dinner with family. Kund has some amazing Punjabis food. The ambience is very decent with benches style of seating. We had tandoori kebab, Lahori Thali, Reshmi kebab and Mutton Biryani. The kebabs was delicious, especially the makhani dal that came with the Thali was so good. However I didn't enjoyed or liked the Biryani at all. The staff was nice and quick service.

This place helped me get through my cravings for North Indian food in Bangalore. Late in posting a review by almost a decade. Their saag mutton used to be amazing.
Samardip Singh
A very limited but subtle menu, which tastes amazing. Not great with ambience but a foodie won’t care anyway ;)
Satyashree Mohanty
Proper north Indian taste, chicken tikka butter masala was awesome

The first visit was great as we had heard a lot about this place and the raving reviews felt it was a must try.
Ordered a mix of chicken and paneer along with the naan's and rotis.
Great taste and flavor.
The ambience is not exactly a dhaba but something like a "goodluck" joint.

The second time is when we had an issue that was post the reopening of the outlet after COVID, it was completely empty, no sanitizer or temp checks at the entry, not sure if the staff had their masks on either. But gave us some negative vibes and hence we decided to dine elsewhere.

Hope they put in safety measures in place so we can dine again.
Shubhakant10690
The food is great here.. real panjabi style
Daniel D'mello
No longer the place it used to be. Food was ok. Portion size would not justify half the price. Apparently the ownership and kitchen staff have changed. Would not recommend.
Preetz
I had food poisoning after having food from here. Please avoid this place.
Nikhil Adhlakha
The go to place for proper north indian food in bangalore. The ambience is not fancy at all but serves the purpose. If you are the one who like to dine in fancy places, then this is not for you.
Coming to the food- its really good. Dal makni, rogan josh, methi chamon and the breads... all were at par with the taste levels of a north indian like me.
Service is better than good and basically its a olace to have good food. I met the owners for the first time and they were really making sure that everything runs smooth and checking the quality of each dish. Plus both the father and daughter were really sweet.
Bottomline- order ur garlic naan and dal makhni and butter chicken and the likes from here without any hesitation.
Pratyansha Sinha
The food gives us North Indian feels completely! At this rate In a place like indiranagar it is fantastic! Can work a little on ambience but that isn’t a big factor as far as food is great !
Pranav Shivram
What was once a good restaurant has gone completely down the gutter. We got food poisoning after eating the food from here yesterday.

Never again. Stay away for your own health.
Abhiseka Mishra
Had to this place several times before. But now the ambiance has totally changed not in a good way. Also taste of the food has been changed a little bit. Saddest part was the full items from menu was not available.
Priyam Dutta
Staff was very rude, even the quality of food was bad, intially my zomato gold previlidges were denied, after i said i will call zomato they agreed for zomato gold
Darshna Chaurasia
Very late service, the staff was not cooperative with us in getting the food prepared fast although we asked him to get it done soon but still they served us very late and this was my very first visit to this place. Even the taste of gravy we ordered was not good.
Sangeeta Sharath
I totally love this place😍 best panjabi / North Indian food in blore! Small place but every item is truly delicious😋😋😋 I personally love Dal Makhani n tawa veg😋😍.. I recommend this place for everyone. Must try! 5 ⭐️

I have waited for half an hour just to take orders not even water they served for half an hour the waiters were not even responding when ever we called . Disappointing service. Food is decent

I understand there is a change of ownership in this restaurant. Usually it was a good place, but this experience was downright pathetic. Asked for shahi paneer and they obliged to serve whats in the above picture. And when questioned; they said - this is shahi paneer. Overall quality of food has dropped drastically!
Ankur Shrivastava
A small Dhaba like place with some mouth watering starters.
The starters are so delectable that you won't feel like ordering the main course.
The service is bit fast considering the place is very small and not too many guests could be accommodated.
Mutton Sheek Kebab, Chicken Tandoori, Kalmi Chaap and Hari Sheek are really good. The green chutney served with kebabs is simply delicious and adds another flavour to the taste.
The dishes are also not too pricey and gets served in good quantity.
Highly Recommended for Non Veg starters...!!!
Agrima
It’s one of those old school places with desks and benches! It’s easy to miss it in the hustle bustle of indiranagar, but the mutton roganjosh and boti kebabs here are to die for! Must try for every non vegetarian in town, you’re not gonna regret it. The service can be a little slow sometimes but trust me it’s worth the wait! 🙌🏻

Good place gone bad

I have been visiting this place for over 10 years now. This was my choice when I wanted good Punjabi good.
When I tried it today, I regretted my decision of having this craving.

The management has changed, which means the restaurant is currently being run by another team.

Half the dishes are “unavailable”

The remaining dishes are either uncooked or out of proportion
Rahul Jain
Been going to this place since 8 years. Authentic Punjabi food is thier specialty. Love thier peas pulav. They have started zomato gold option as well which helps to save money. Do try thier lassi. The ambience is okish but who cares wen u get super tasty food served quickly at ur table.

Once we had a craving for true Punjabi food, so we came here. It's an old place, which my husband used to like.
What I didn't like personally, is ambience. It's very visible, that this restaurant saw better days. According to me, its better to do take aways. But still so many people coming here for the food.
We ordered biryani (chicken and mutton), tandoori chicken, garlic naan and dal makhani. Everything was tasty, really tasty. But we felt that chicken in biryani was not that great quality. Even though tandoori one was pretty delicious.
The service was decent, waiters were polite and sweet.
Overall ok experience.
Jas
Suggesting this pace bunch of friends was the one biggest mistake of my life 🙊 ( atleast I believe)
Food quality and quantity is okay but the service is pathetic. No customer service at all.
The server took more that 20 minutes to serve water and more than 50 mins to serve meals. After questioning the answer was that we serving the small orders and delivery orders first. However we came first.
I completely understand that they need time to prepare meals but this kind of wait period and attitude is not right.
Definitely not visiting again and not recommending
Vivek
An interesting little place...for North Indian food. This was my first visit and the food was quite average. I ordered a non veg thali and the chicken was not cooked well. The veg dishes (mixed veg and dal makhani) were good and tasted well.
Abhishek Shukla
Honest pricing and one of the better places to have punjabi/ North Indian food in Bangalore. The setup is pretty basic and seating limited, but the food makes up for the lack of ambience.
Deeksha Ramakrishnan
Thought the food didn't match the prices set. Had the chicken tikka, rotis with dal makhni and biriyani. Felt only the biriyani was upto the mark. Service was also slow.

I have been visiting this place since 2012 and this used to be my favourite place. All staffs used to be so cooperative and friendly. Recently I heard there was a change in the management but still it was my favourite place. But not anymore after a a bad response and worst experience from a staff this afternoon. I went in there for lunch at 215PM I was not given a seat till 250PM, I understand it was busy. I saw a seat getting vacated so I wanted to do a follow up with a staff (new staff after management change may be) he responded so rudely and said he is going to close the kitchen and no seats are available. That's wasn't a right hospitality that you give your customers. However I went to reception and gave a feedback. Anyways.. no more kund in my life and my friends life.
R Sengupta
Had a great simple veggie lunch! Pudina butter rotis, paneer gravy, lassi. Service is quick and attentive. Food is fresh and delicious. I liked their thali concept- order any starter and upgrade to thali - they will add naan, daal, and sabji! That’s what I am going to try next time!
Anuja Surve
Food is decent, service apt. The place lacks any restaurant feel and has a more basic dhaba set up. The thali is a good concept as you get some yummy dal makhni and mix tawa veggies
Jyoti Gupta
Kund is a place for authentic North Indian taste.

It is a place for no taam-zhaam, only swadisht bhojan. I have tasted chicken tikka masala, naan, paneer makhani, chicken kadai, chicken biryani and their famous gaajar ka halwa. Everything is awesome.

Good place, has lot of positive word of mouth publicity.
Anupam Sehgal
Well we used to order from here way back & the food used to be decently good , but unfortunately recently I ordered the tandoori chicken the dal tadka & tandoori roti . The tandoori chicken was inedible as it was extremely dry & smelled stale , had to waste it! The dal was floating with unnecessarily oily & the tandoori roti was ‘ rubber’ .
The last time I will give this restaurant a go .
Ishaan Nigam
The food at this place is just amazing. However the service was quite slow in my case. Need to work on their ambience. No doubt one of the best place to have North Indian food
Ullal.sanat
A nice place in Indiranagar. This place is not fancy, but the food is delicious. Thier Chicken Biryani is one of the best I've eaten so far. Being a hardcore non vegetarian, this is one of THE places I love eating veg food. I've visited this place numerous times, but each time was satisfied with their quality and quantity. Love their veg food.
Saloni Jivani
Amazing food. My fav was aachari paneer sabji. One of the best places I’ve been to for North Indian food. Must visit place. Just needs a little work on the ambiance.
Bhagya Shenoy
Just the perfect place to savour some amazing punjabi cuisine . Small and cosy place with minimal seating . Serve the best barbecue food. The staff is very friendly and quick in service . Must try’s
➡️The mushroom tikka
➡️Jaljeera
➡️chicken tikka Thali
➡️Dal Makhni
➡️Butter garlic naan
Me and my frnd discovered this place together. Just beside Annabell, it is a hidden gem in Indiranagar. North Indian food to the core. Loved the chicken chatpata. Though I was already full, I missed having lassi. Definitely I will visit again.
Sourav Dan
pollite and simple place..no sophistication but one word simple and awsome tasty food.ordered for 3 different thalis.reshmi kebab , prawns and pomfret..all levelled each other.loved the place till the ultimate
Sanchari Mukhopadhyay
Not happy. Ordered their dahi
Chicken and kadhai paneer. Neither of those tasted the way they should have. The food tasted alright but it wasn’t what was expected. Loved the lassi!
Mort2610
Great Punjabi food served at reasonable prices. Perfect formula for success! And unique starter-to-thali mode makes picking dinner/lunch easy. Thanks you guys
I have been visiting this restaurant since 2003. They have the same quality every single time, barring a couple of times. The attention and intent to maintain the taste for 15 years is exceptionally brilliant. Even when rice and dal prices increased exponentially, Sardarji had to increase the prices but did so in style. For example, he increased the price of masala rice but added raita as a value add. I would recommend all the main courses.
TheAnonymousFoodie
300/- for a chicken dish? Are you serious? This place used to be so good but they have made serious changes to their prices and quality.

I ordered 'Ajwaini Macchi' from them and I just received 4 small pieces of tandoori fish for a whopping 300/- price tag!
FooderThanThou
This restaurant is one of the best North Indian cuisine restaurants in Bangalore. The ambience is very basic and it does not have air-conditioning but the food is tasty. The lassi is good as well. My favourite dishes here are the Butter Chicken (it's not mentioned on the menu), Bhindi Fry and the Naans.
Padmini Shivakumar
yummy food
Kamaljeet Singh
If you are looking for authentic punjabi food.
Don’t miss tandoori chicken in starters and butter chicken ( chicken tikka masala) curry. Finger licking, lip smacking.... the only let down you may have would be the ambiance.
Rajesh Singh
good Yummy food ,good place for food lovers, we have ordered many times from this place, i like biryani of kund and paneer tikka, nice punjabi resturant
Franklin Ebenezer
Great Tasting Barbeques 🤩🤩 loved the Chicken Tikka Thali ! 4/5 ratings! for taste of Food and Service Level 1/5 👹 Speed of service can be improved
ISHITA SINHA
absolute pathetic service! it takes them 45 minutes to get them an order.
they finish an order at a time and then attend the rest..
you have to keep reminding them of your order. although food is good; the patience level tested is too much..n dont forget; the ambience n place is not at all good.
Mukul
Sorry to say, disappointed once again. Butter chicken tikka was excellent as usual. However, garlic butter nan/kulcha were not in edible state .. it was completely rubbery n dried up.. Chicken biryani too was no good like before.. too much spicy even more than andhra style.. didn't expect quality to down so drastically..
Mukul
Earlier, Tandoori chicken used to be awesome here.. However, since couple of last times, observed that quality has gone down. Chicken is very dry n low on spice/salt.. i believe either chicken isn't tender or, something has gone wrong in marination. Hope, the quality is fixed soon as we have been always fond of this place since more than 10 yrs now.

Contd.. Based on recent order again, i wish to improve my previous rating. Must say butter chicken, roti n kucha were up to expectation this time. Still scope of improvement in tandoori chicken.. something need to be fixed in marination so that chicken is tender n soft.

Great service

Delicious north indian food. We would recommend the kadai paneer and pudina parantha. Dal makhni was a little bland but complemented the spicy curry very well. Goes well with jeera rice.
It's a compact place with average staff and ambience.
But with a food this good, there won't be much to complain about!!
Prashanth Rajagopal
Good food
Gauri Varshney
So the quest for North Indian vegetarian food got us here. The ambience and food both were average. I ordered a lachcha parathe, tandoori roti, mushroom barbecue, sweet Lassi, Kadhai paneer, dal makhni. So being from Delhi I would not recommend this place specially for what we spent.
Sahil Kumar
been here couple of times, had good Chettinad Veg food, off-course non-veg options are available and my friends really enjoy that. Need to pre-book especially Sunday lunch and if you a alone couple you can take the chance. Now the environment, though the place is little small as compared to a 5 Star Hotel facility. Staff is good and courteous.
Rajashree Das
Delicious food at economical prices. The ambience or staff are not the best here.
Don't expect anything more than good food.
A great option when you are looking to have value for money and tasty food and don't have much time to spend.
Arya Mohan
I've been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. I've tried the paneer Makhani, Murgh Methi Chamon, Rogan Josh, lasoni kebab, Malai tikka and Paneer Tikka. They were all amazing except maybe the paneer tikka. Or maybe that's just in comparison. The lassi too is nice and thick and tasty! This place is a must try for the food. The setting is extremely simplistic. I like it but if you're looking out for a fancy ambience this place will not suit your needs.
Chiranjeev Das
It's a small place past Toit on 1st left which can be easily missed by anyone because of the low maintained looks of the place but do not let that fool you. My review is completely based on the Thali that's served there. Basically for the rest of the Handi menu looks freakishly expensive. But the thali is really impressive with 2 chapatti or 2 Naan with daal, veg sabzi and the main starter on the menu. I had ordered chicken gelafi kabab and mutton lahori boti. Trust me I never ever I had kabab that soft which literally melted in my mouth.
Snehaa Tripathy
Best place to have your lunch. The chicken and fish platter was the best ones I have ever tried. The veg pulav is the best thing I have ever tried

Would never hesitate to visit once more, to taste the best dishes they serve

After a long time came to kund for a lunch on a hot afternoon.. And kund may not cool the heat down.. But the food can... Food here has always been tasty and relishable.. Had a gobi starter and had roties and two curries.. Food came promptly on time... We had ordered dal pancharatna as i had never had it before.. It was not to mark of kofta tat we ordered.. It left more tumericy and kind of odd or imbalance in taste... Wont recommend it to anyone.. Kofta on other hand was good and rich..
Avoid lunch there on a hot day...
AJIT P Singh
Kund is a genuine urban dhaba which serves authentic north indian cuisine. It's not a fine dine but for the quality of food served here, it's a must visit place.
Starters include various tikka, seek kababs and tandoori chicken . In main course you can try murg methi chaman, chicken kali mirch, murg adraki, and dahiwala murg apart from other regalar options like chicken do pyaza and butter chicken.
For vegetarian their dal makhni, palak dal tadka and paneer dishes are quite authentic and amazing .
The best part is that everything is very fresh and served hot . it's actually a small place and while waiting for food you can smell fresh aroma coming out from open kitchen . Overall superb food at very affordable price.
Rishabh Shukla
Had ordered a Biryani. It was the blandest I ever had eaten. The Indian cuisine is good otherwise.
PS: Slow service offered with food, bill is a big turn-off. The food took over 50 minutes to arrive and the billing took 10 minutes.
Sangeet Subedi
My second favourite Indian food joint in indranagar.. wonderful food.. im a sucker for Indian food and this place is amazing.. would recommend this to everyone..
Dhruvraj Singh
I was craving for some good butter chicken and Kund satiated that. Located right on 100ft road, it's easily accessible. I ordered two portions of butter naan, a portion of chicken tikka masala and a bowl of curd. The chicken was good, however slightly salty which I'm sure can be avoided. The naan's the were crispy and served hot which enhanced the experience more. Curd was the saviour after this heavy meal.
Thashvin Muckatira
My go to place food for North Indian food. Never had a bad experience here. This time we ordered the tandoori chicken, chicken dopiyaza and mutton boti kebab with tandoori rotis.
Pratibha Tatia
My husband and I accidentally visited this place one fine afternoon when we wanted to eat some north indian food. Now it has become a go-to place when we want some quick food that's tasty and filling and economical. i've ordered food for home as well- the pakaginf is good and so is the quantity.

food: taste wise its good, quantity is also worth the money. we generally go for their Paneer tikka platter- it's a worth the money deal. The platter has 4 pieces of paneer tikka, mix veg, dal makhani and two chapati/tandoori roti, if we order some rice or an extra garlic naan or something the whole platter is sufficient for two people. other things that you can have here are paneer makhini, aloo tikka, mushroom tikka, jeera rice.

Ambience: it's a small cozy place. not much done for the decor but a good place i'd say to have good food. it's located behind toit and is easily accesible. so you can anytime walk in for a quick family or team lunch or dinner.

Service: the staff is courteous, friendly and polite.

P.S. -Can improve the taste of dal makhini as it is very thick and a little bland.

Happy Eating! :)
Iyerbomb
A great example of 'cut the frills and focus on the food' place! The owners have certainly got their priorities right. Where the food is good, people will throng...not matter what the décor or embellishments!
When I crave good authentic north Indian food , I look no further. The jal jeera is a must try here. Followed it up with some paneer starters ( tikka / sheekh ..the likes). There was flavor bursting out in every bite. Butter naan, egg masala, aloo jeera and egg biryani was my main course. Each of the dishes was just rightly spiced and tasted great. Particularly the aloo jeera! (Photo attached). Washed it all down with a lassi, which was good..(pssst..Oye Amritsar has the best lassi 😉).
Friendly staff add to the charm of the place. Shall definitely continue to come here and introduce Kund to my friends

I wasn't too sure of this place when we planned to go! A small place behind Toit, it has average interiors but some kickass food! Dal Makhani and Achaari Paneer are the best!! they don't have any difference between Garlic Naan and Garlic Kulcha.

The staff is quite polite and it is friendly to the pocket :)
Ashish Shetty
This is a place we have been visiting for about 10 plus years now. The place is very simple and may remind some people of the college canteens with few tables. Their food has been consistently good over the years. Their lassi is particularly good. If you are around Indira Nagar and want to enjoy Punjabi food without being fussy about the ambience this is the place.
Rudra Kamal Sinha Roy
Small place but the food is just awesome ! Perhaps the best mutton and chicken tikkas in Bangalore ! Jalzeera and lassi are equally good . Don't miss this place . I wish Bangalore many more food joints like this ..
Gaurav Malhan
They have the best butter chicken in Bangalore. Seating is not that great but the food compensates for that. Must try for chicken lovers. Cheers
Nikhil Jose
Lovely and cozy interiors with a co-operative attendants. You expect that as soon as you enter a Punjabi Restaurant, you tend to expect the tandoor smell, didn't get that though here (not complaining). The interiors are average as the place is small and all the furniture are made of wood- wooden tables, wooden chairs, not very comfortable to enjoy your food. The menu has a lot of items in it and i felt that they were overpriced for the quantity that they offer( felt this after the food arrived on the table).

So, we had Butter Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, Mutton Biryani, Lassi, and Chicken Banjara Kabab. Talking about the starters first, the Chicken Banjara Kabab, full of lovely tandoori flavour. They had burnt it a bit on the edges, so that sour taste was there. We had ordered for the salt lassi, the consistency was good enough, also, it had a hint of jeera (cumin) in it. The Mutton biryani was amazing- the mutton was soft and tender, the rice was perfectly cooked, overall the mutton biryani was the best out of the rest. The Chicken Tikka Masala did not impress me, excess of garam masala and overcooked chicken ruined it for me. The Butter naan was too elasticky, but tasted good. Overall it was an average experience and definitely a good place to try out some Punjabi or Tandoor cuisnes. I would like to give the-

Food - 3/5

Ambience - 3/5

Service - 4/5

If you are a foodie, must visit this place. A variety delicious menu in reasonable price. Dont expect much from their ambience. Do try their spinach chicken its yummilicious.
Purva Bhatnagar
If you are big on ambiance, forget this place. If you are big on food- this is a great place. My favourite at this place- boti kebab, mutton shammi and dal tadka. The quantity is good and it's easy on the pocket too. If you want roomali roti though, avoid the rush hours because in mosh likelihood it wouldn't be available.

A small restaurant not very inside from main road. Very crowded with great food...
Had the Non-Veg thali the food was great the sabji was yumm I loved the curry.. the Jeera Rice which we ordered was little soggy but the taste was okay...
price absolutely pocket Friendly...
A good place to visit for regular lunch..
Rudra Rao
Went there for a quick lunch. Really small place. Been there for 20 plus years. Food is just brilliant .
All tables were full.
Had the Hari Sheek thali with came with 2 Naans, Dal makhani, vegetables, Huge Paneer pieces salad and not to forget the most mint chutney.

Definitely worth the money. Good going =)

Been here twice and both time I enjoyed the food which genuinely delicious. In the first visit we had Peshawri kebab meal that was accompanied with dry tawa vegetables and dal makhani. And second time we had chicken reshmi kebab meal. Both were delicious and complete value for money.
Bakasuri
The mutton Rogan Josh here was much recommended and this place was highly recommended for Thier north Indian food.
Tried the jaljeera, mutton Rogan Josh and naan here.
Service was good.
The mutton was well cooked. The gravy and flavours were decent. I wouldn't say met the perfect north Indian food hype though.
Sukirti Vardhan
Damn bad food , bad taste unhygienic, worst experience ever. Don't come here and waste your money , worst part is portion control for 250rs u'll get only 6 small pieces of tikka
Vneethv
Food: 6/10
Ambience: 4/10
Value for money : 5/10
Ordered roti, veg kalimirchi and lassi !! The curry was too spicy, roti and lassi was ok.. over all it's just an OK place
Shyamalika Nagendra
Kund is a go to place for punjabi food. Their food has tasted more or less the same over the past few years. This is a good thing. The quantity is not bad but in the non vegetarian dishes one can notice that there is more masala than meat. Ambiance, well less said the better. Still, a good place to satisfy that punjabi food craving.
Vedang Gutgutia
Stumbled upon this while looking for budget delivery option in Indiranagar. Read a few reviews and it seemed good and decided to order.
Ordered on a Sunday afternoon at around 1pm and they lived up to the promise they made on the phone to deliver within 30 mins.
I ordered a half Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Dahiwala and masala kulcha and naan. The tandoori chicken pieces were big and were well cooked and juicy. I had assumed the Dahiwala to be white gravy based but it turned out to be a sweet orange version and was really tasty. Their masala kulcha is really tasty and one of the very few places which serves the typical kulcha!
Overall a really good experience. The delivery is brilliant, packaging is good, food is tasty and is pocket friendly. Can't comment on their ambience but food wise it's a must try!

A pocket friendly restaurant at the heart of Indiranagar. You may feel bad about ambience but it is quite different. Food over here is very tasty and mutton starters are very good. Overall a nice experience for us.

Prior to Kund, I never got to relish on authentic Punjabi food from Bangalore I had tried many restaurants that claim to provide "Punjabi" cuisines but almost all of them failed to satisfy my Punjabi taste buds. But Kund was indeed a pleasant experience. Even the restaurant setting reminds me of a neighborhood dhaba which quite adds on the experience of dining here.

Dal Makhni, chicken tikka masala and kesar nimbu paani is a must try here !

I had never visited this place when I used to live for a year in Indira Nagar because of the surplus of options available. I was surprised this Saturday, when I visited. Traditional taste. Well cooked food. Melts in mouth. Soft rotis. Nominal price. Looking forward to visit again.

With a very average ambience, however we get very tasty food here. Also the variety of curries are endless. Great food preparation. Should go at 1 pm or before to avoid the rush hour. Also great service.

Had taken a parcel of Dal Makhni and Chicken Tikka Masala. Bland taste. Boiled chicken pieces given as Chicken Tikka. Sweet tomato gravy.

Dal Makhni was without salt and spice.

Will NEVER recommend. Please do not spend for this kind of food quality. Had gone based on good reviews.

Lowest rating was 1.0. Or would have given 0.0

Decent North Indian food. Chicken methi is a must try. Not very spicy as I expected, being a Punjabi restaurant. But ambience is more of a Dhaba. White led lights are not even used in any small restaurant these days. They should definitely work on improving the set up of this centrally located restaurant

An old restaurant which has been around for decades and still remained true to its values oops tastes ! Where the dishes don't seem to have the same curry but carry its own unique flavour. Yet the rating 4 - is coz of accessibility to the restaurant, rather finding a parking on the busy streets of Indira Nagar. The sweet dish could have been better. That said - if you are looking to try some good Indian food , don't miss this one !

It is small place but the food is tasty. You will find good north indian dishes over there.
Price is also reasonable which make it more favorable in nearby vicinity.

Ordered chicken biryani which had tasted like tawa pulao and definitely not a biryani. Chicken was well cooked but again very heavy on the spices , especially garam masala.
All in all , not a bad dish...if only they stop calling this a biryani.

Great punjabi preparation. Quick service. Reach well in time to avoid the lunch hour rush. Steamed white rice with chicken dahiwala is great. Also the lahsuni kabab. Small joint but a great place for some yummy food. Parking might be a challenge.
