Fresh baked items available. Plain cake and cachew biscuit are good here and can last 2 days with out loosing the taste. Veg puffs are also good. Now they have added many items of ragi and whole wheat to menu.. one of the oldest and best bakery in Bangalore. I admire for their consistent quality and taste..

Amazing bakery in Bangalore. At the right times of the day you can smell the goodness of the baking from half a kilometre away. Their plain cake is what they're famous for and it is amazing, soft, fluffy, and the right amount of sweet. Their sweat and salt biscuits, butter biscuits, and cashew biscuits are great. Highly recommended their plum cake and khari as well.

Big bakery with lots of breads, cakes, biscuits, cookies and snack items. Food items from here are fresh, and delicious. Attenders are polite and friendly, knowledgeable about the items we ask for.

I really love the biscuits in here, the taste is just wow!🤩I have tried sweet salt biscuits, cashew biscuits, fruit and nut biscuit, milk biscuit, coconut biscuit, butter biscuit I absolutely loved it. I have also tried veg puffs I took it as a parcel so microwaved it and ate that was also something lite and really liked it. Something really worth tasting and trying. My family really loved their biscuits and veg puffs. My dad also liked like wheat jaggery bread taste homely and was good. Do try their cashew biscuits and fruit and nut biscuits you will fall in love with this bakery after it.

This place is divine. Just loved the snacks here. Experienced and professional staff, clean and tidy place, placement of snacks everything seems so perfect. I came across this bakery about 4/5 years ago and have been floored by the taste and quality of the condiments. The Plum and Fruit cakes are phenomenal and have been my favorite Christmas haunt for cakes. This place is the best place for goodies that you can sink your teeth into.

Went to this bakery all the way from Whitefield after driving more than an hour as I heard and read so much about this bakery. I thought it will be a very big outlet but it turned out to be a small corner shop but that doesn't matter. Staff was courteous and attentive. They patiently made us taste all of their different biscuits, puff and rusk. We end up buying almost all of their biscuits varieties, puff, veg puff (Pettis in North), rusk and bread as I knew I might not travel again this far in Bengaluru traffic. Liked whatever we tasted there but need to still try again after coming home. The only thing I didn't like is that they were giving us the samples to taste from the same packets which they sold us. The samples should not be given from sale package as I am pretty sure they should have ample broken biscuits which can be used for sampling. No parking available. Need to park on nearby Streets. Overall I'm happy that I visited it as I have been thinking to visit here for so long.

It is one of the oldest bakeries in the town. Variar Bakery in Bangalore was started in 1955 and is famous for its breads, puffs, cakes and biscuits. The breads and cakes are fresh, soft and extremely delicious. I loved how the tea cakes are soft, crumbly and just melts in your mouth. Specially travelled from the other end of Bangalore to try out their cakes, bread, and puffs. As they quote - "Such is the popularity of our products that sometimes we see more than 3000 customers a day. The bakery in a day produces over two tons of biscuits and rusks. We only have 2 branches." Highly recommended!!

Happened to visit this place with my friends, had a good time having fruit cake and sweet filled pastry. As it was very close by to the road it was noisy and the floor over there is very slippery and I happened to slip twice. Else it was a good experience

I have been buying snacks from this place from childhood. So I have seen the change. The prices have gone up really high. Yes the taste is unparalleled, but the price can be kept in mind. Apple cake, bun, veg puff, cashew biscuit, plum cake , sweet and salt and milk biscuit, everything is good here. They have a separate ladies counter also.

I went on a quest to find the best of the best bakery in Bangalore on Christmas and how could I miss out this place!<br/>The milk biscuits I got from them is one of the best biscuits I have ever tasted in my life! The sponge cake simply melted in my mouth..perfect amount of moisture.. perfect amount of sweetness. I also tried the fruit puff which was lovely. If you don't fancy coconut you may skip it.<br/>All the items were really tasty!

Definitely one of the Bakeries in Bangalore serving for years, since the time of my grandfather. Their cakes stand out for their quality and taste. Ofcourse each item stands out but cakes are a step ahead. Biscuits are absolute delight. Veg puff is light, crisp and yummy, bread toast is just amazing and the list goes on as we describe each item. Highly recommended place for highly satisfying eateries.

I can’t say if the price justifies the items but the cashew cake was delicious!! I hope to try every other item on the menu atleast once.

This bakery holds one of my most cherished childhood memories. I have seen it from it's nascent beginnings and grow to one of the treatures of old Bangalore. The professionalism, people and the product is unblemished and top rated. Love the Vegetarian Puff, the tuty-fruity cake, the sponge cake, the milk rusk...just to name a few. My childhood home is just a stone's throw away from the bakery and oh boy the fresh bread is hard to resist. So you know how much I love this place.

It was very much crowded. <br/><br/>With the help of staff and couple of localities I bought coconut cookies, chilly cookies, butter cookies, nipattu, Japanese cake, vanilla sponge cake, plum cake and apple cake. <br/><br/>I am in love with their vanilla sponge cake and coconut cookies . The cake is so moist and fluffy it is the best thing I ever had. The original one is located in Rajajinagar 2nd block and the other outlet is in West of Chord road. Being a resident of Rajajinagar, this is my go to place for cakes and biscuits. Nothing can beat the pound cake you get here. They get over really fast so be there early.

My go to place for the best bread cake and dilpasand. Have been relishing the delicacies here for more than a decade now and it’s always been amazing , the service , the quality, the taste has only got better with time . I have tried their cashew biscuits , milk biscuits , coconut biscuits and they are all excellent and just melts every bite . This time while I visited picked up a good stock of bread cake as my friends were around too and also some fresh dil pasand. As it was a Sunday morning it wasn’t that crowded so I missed the big que though. The bread cake was fresh as ever . I am going to comeback here again soon
