Super crowded place with absolutely yummy & affordable food.
Why you should visit
1. It is on main road.
2. Food is authentic and tasty.
3. Very economical. The dosa was like 25 Rs.
4. Parking is available.
Consider the below
1. Only vegetarian
2. There is very less seating
3. Self service
Had visited here many times, this place is pure bliss. Two wheeler parking is ample but for four wheelers, you will have to park on the opposite side of the road.
When it comes to food, the vadas here are crisp from outside and soft from inside as they should be. They are mesmerizingly cute.
Idlis are very soft.
Although they don't serve sambar, the chutneys they serve here are of 2 types. One is for idli and vada which is a little flowy and tasty.
The second one is for dosas which are thick.
Dosas here are the thick ones which ghee which tastes absolutely delicious.
The potato bhaji is a little bland but fine.
Filter coffee is fabulous too.
The food is not spicy and one can eat stress free.
This place is quite crowded on weekends so plan accordingly and go.
Usually at night, dosas get over soon so try to go early. Also to mention, the place is quite clean and hygienic, they have seating areas and proper drinking water and hand wash facilities.
Overall, this is my go to place for south indian cuisines and the prices seems to be quite affordable. Next time, planning to try some different dishes too☺️
This place has been a weekly breakfast pilgrimage for many years now. Everything is so reasonably priced AND so amazingly delicious!
You'll often find the place packed (which speaks volumes to how good the food is) but the lines are always fast moving. All the breakfast items are worth trying, the masala dosa and vada are always amazingly crisp! They've not compromised on the quality of the food ever! The coffee is amazing as well.
It'd be a struggle to spend more than Rs. 100 per person here :)
