Review Meghana Foods - Bengaluru

Atlast tasted the most hyped Meghana biriyani. It was worth the visit. Especially starters were too tasty . The chicken lollipop was crispier and Meghana special 555 was nice. Then we ordered Hyderabad Chicken biriani , Meghana Special Chicken Biriyani and Boneless chicken biriyani. The quantity and the price was reasonable. The chicken pieces were very tender and succulent. The rice was well cooked and flavourful. At the end we drank Blue lime soda and Grape juice. The grape juice was very pulpy. The price was too reasonable for the quantity and the food.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Meghana Foods ,and I must say, their biryani left an indelible impression. Best ever boneless chicken and 555 chicken . Very good ambiance. Enjoyed a lot . Hype justified

I got the great paneer manchurian (I ordered without spices, and it was better than the one with spices). The Biryani was awesome, but after having two good foods, we ordered chicken hyderabadi by requesting not to add curry leaves. Although the person told there will be none, there were actually. That's the only reason of four stars. After that, they gave a chicken butter masala to compensate. Surendr Dhami had great service, and Younis took my non spicy order and it was exactly as we wanted.

Stood to its hype. Tried chicken biryani, paneer biryani, veg biryani and chicken ghee roast(4 leg piece per plate-Must try. ) Other than chicken dum biryani, all comes with curry top on it(didn't liked it). Biryani rice along with any starter is better option. Ask for their extra masala to add spice 🌶 to your food.

I recently tried the Prawns Biryani and Meghana Special Biryani here, and I was pleasantly surprised. Despite hearing a lot of hype about this place, the taste exceeded my expectations. The prawns and chicken were tender and flavorful, and the prices were reasonable. It's a busy spot, so arrive early to secure a table. I highly recommend trying it out; I'll definitely be back to explore more dishes. A must-visit in Bangalore!

A Proper Andhra Style restaurant. Service is good and the taste was so good. You can expect a lot of spice in the food. A Biriyani would be enough for 2 normal eaters. But everything is way costly and not pocket friendly.

Bangalore's favorite biryani is from Meghana. Most of the people in Bangalore like Meghana's boneless biryani, which tastes very good. I haveordered biryani from them more than 35 times. They offers variety of delicious starters. I tried lemon chicken, pepper chicken, chicken lollipop, Chicken 555 & Paneer Biryani. And, I do find the cost to be on the higher side. Nevertheless, for the exceptional taste they offer, it's worth the expense.

My go to food spot in ORR road. My favourite food is always pepper chicken in non veg starters and potato dum biriyani. Correct level of salt and spices. No wonder they are the best in Marathahalli .. Quality is good and hygienic however it is pricey and less quality. Given to the taste and cleanliness that’s ok I think .. Thumbs up 👍🏻..

I tried Meghana special chicken biriyani, dragon chicken and chicken kebab. The biriyani was tasty and well cooked, but not enough for the price. The dragon chicken was yummy. The chicken kebab was actually chicken pakodi, which I don't like. I think kebab should be grilled on fire.

To start with, this restaurant was super crowded even with 2 floors with plenty of seating. Oh my words. But they manage it well and make sure we are getting seats in the given time period. Coming back to the food. We have tried biryani, tandoori and a couple of other dishes. Those were really tasty. Spice is a bit on the higher side which might be not go well with the kids. But I loved the taste and quantity of plates. The service was neat and clean. At the end, it was worth the wait.

One of the best places to eat biryani, it is so tempting. Service was also good. A free parking area is available.

The Brand for Briyani Is Meghana Biriyani Taste is very good and service provided is good. Compared to other shops price little higher but worthy for Money Weekend will be crowded eveni though they have severed within 10mins of ordered time. Parking a vehicle is little difficult here Overall 4.5 rating

Meghana Foods has come a long way in some parts of Bengaluru. I would have never thought earlier like 3-4years back that I would give nay Meghana foods outlet a review rating of more than 2 and a half stars for food but now the times have changed. Meghana foods especially the Marathahalli outlet has completely renovated the style to a proper family restaurant and this time with clean tables,service, interior and proper tasty food. We tried the Rayalaseema spicy chicken which was succulent and very tasty with an outer layer spiced up with dried chilli powder and yummy. We then had the chicken tandoori which was freshly cooked and was not too chewy . Then we had the Biryanis - Meghana special biryani and the Chicken fried biryani. The fried one was a little spicy and had more magala. The Meghana special biryani was less spicy and had a gravy of thick standards over the Chciken itself. Both were enjoyable. The salan and raita were mediocre and needed a lift in flavours as they were watery . Service was sometimes slow and sometimes very fast. Overall now a Recommended place for you lunch and dinner.

Very popular for its chicken biryani. They don't have any dedicated car parking but they will guide you where to park which will be atleast a 3-4 mins walk. We went on a weekday dinner so it was less crowded compared to weekends. They don't accept pre reservation over call so you may walk-in directly. Service needs to be better as they serve as in they get your ordered items irrespective you finish your food which is already on your plate and they will be in rush mode. Restrooms need to be more hygienic. They accept card, cash and upi. You won't be able to book a table or pay via zomato gold. They don't charge service tax but people will wait for you for the tip😅. Overall it was a good experience if you are more than 1 person

We have tried their Meghna special Briyani , chicken grilled and jaljeera , mint mojito along with mango lassi (for my kid). Briyani was delectable due to different species taste and pieces are juicy and tender. I loved chicken grilled again it was really juicy and fresh with some spices. Drinks were good. Briyani price is on higher side . Service is quick , staff is eager to serve you . Good place for friends and family.

Ordered kulcha got naan. Portion of biryani in too less while Indira nagar outlet gives better portion. You charge 230 for biryani which serves one person. Also biryani taste was not good, I know this brand for better experience. Not this time or probably this outlet.<br/>

Delivery boy - Sanjay Gowda is the pathetic delivery boy ever. He didn't even informe weather the parcel was picked or not, when we called him he said food is not prepared. He didn't even bother to inform a<br/>s customer. I would appreciate if Zomato team would discontinue with this person or take any action against him. As this is not acceptable as a customer, we had families and friends over and not getting food on time is bad on your name. Atleast as an courtesy you guys should have checked on whats happening. I don't know how and why Zomato team hire such people in the first place which makes a bad impression on the company name, and just because of this all my family and friends will now think to place order from Zomato or not, as its really its time waste and money. Rather use some other food apps. <br/>Very disappointed

Avoid goin here till corona is over. I was here on Sunday for takeaway. There is sanitizer at the entrance and they do temp check but once you are through, there is no safety at all. It is complete chaos. Everyone has to fight in a group to place order and to collect the parcel.

For sure Meghana food served Bangalore one of the best biryani. <br/><br/>Biryani comes up with biryani rice and boneless chicken masala which is very good<br/><br/>Quantity is also good for that the price, they are other restaurant which serves biryani to less price compared to this restaurant but when you compare the quantity and taste you can definitely opt for Meghana foods<br/><br/>Rating 4.5/5

Never been disappointed with Meghana. Excellent biriyanis! Great taste, spice level is decent. Portions are fantastic. Have ordered multiple times from different branches and every time have been impressed with the food. Totally recommend.

Being a Hyderabadi, biryani is like a staple food for us.<br/>It’s like we eat biryani, talk biryani, we sleep biryani...<br/>For every occasion, we have biryani suiting to that event.<br/>We ordered 2 types of biryanis from Meghana food.<br/>1.Non veg biryani<br/>2.Non veg special biryani.<br/>As I wrote earlier, no biryani can Sarita Hyderabadi until and unless it’s from Hyderabad.<br/>But the biryanis from Meghana were close to our taste.<br/>The taste and quality were good.<br/>The portion size were quite huge.We could not finish the whole 2 packs of biryani and we had it for our lunch the next day too.<br/>The Salan was going good with biryani and as usual Raitha was good.<br/>The chicken was given separately with out mixing in the biryani rice.<br/>I liked that concept for a change.<br/>We had a Hyderabadi time eating biryani..<br/>

This place never disappoints for biriyani... Ordered Mushroom biriyani and as usual loved it...the quantity they serve will surely fullfill 2 adults for sure..<br/>Also special dum biriyani (chicken) has been loved by my friends...so go ahead when you are craving for biriyani!!!

This is the 3rd time happen as I order meghana special biryani and did not recive chicken packet. Meghana foods are not bothered about this thing as they are simply ignoring the customer.

I have been ordering from Meghana quite frequently and normally food seems to be fresh and tastes good. However today they sent spoilt chicken 65 which tasted so bad that we have to throw it away after trying 3-4 different pieces. This made it clear that their food is NOT always fresh and they send the previous day left over food. Chicken Biryani tasted ok and seemed to be fresh.

I have been regularly ordering biryani from meghna's. However over the past few weeks the food quantity has drastically reduced and the quality and taste also is degraded. I'm not sure what is the reason, but the restaurant must get their food quality nad quantity audited to again improve them as it was before. Hope the feedback helps

I had ordered spl veg biryani and paneer manchurian.<br/>Paneer manchurian was made of freshly cut rubber pieces. It was tasteless, salty and oily and reminded us of everything that is wrong with the world . Its very hard to make a good dish, but its even harder to make such a bad dish.<br/>PLEASE STOP ADDING CURRY LEAVES TO PANEER MANCHURIAN AND SIMILAR DISHES. YOU MAY THINK THAT IT GIVES THE DISH, A UNIQUE SOUTH INDIAN EDGE, BUT EVENTUALLY IT ENDS UP F***ING UP EVERYTHING.<br/><br/>Spl veg biryani had nothing special abt it.<br/>Strangely the biryani rice was sent separately and cooked vegetables were sent separately.<br/>Maybe they were trying to pull a prank that i didn't get. <br/>I gave 1 * for the biryani rice as it had an aromatic smell and decent taste(nothing special), but the cooked vegetables sent with it was probably a bad version of mix vegetables sabzi containing primarily large chunks of potato, that you could find in any north indian bus stand or railway station.<br/><br/>Overall the biryani buttressed my belief that the taste of of a restaurant's food inversely proportional to its stature<br/>

For the most part items are fresh and tasty with very good portion sizes. But now and then, sends stale and smelly food (mushroon Manchuria and mushroon masala) or once even a biryani which seemed was made earlier in the day and was sent in the evening order. Need to get consistent with quality.

Such a worst taste mutton biryani was..I never had this kind of taste...and price is 358 rs...i ordered biryani but i didn't had biryani because of horrible taste...instead of that I had normal white rice...

Meghna special biriyani is all time favourite.

The biriyani is almost like boiled rice. The delivery quality is not even 10% of the dining quality. The curries were good as usual.

We ordered for home delivery on time de very polite and gud human being food taste was extremely good

Meghana special biriyani is very good but it is little bit spicy and chicken is also very nice.

The hygiene level of Meghana has gone for a toss. Ordered aloo biryani and found a hair strand inside the masala. I guess Zomato is simply listing them as max safety restaurant. You never know how they are making things inside and after the hair strand found inside I don’t think I will trust Meghana and Zomato.

This restaurant shows an item available in the menu of zomato or swiggy and when u order it. They call back saying that its not available and got over because of bulk order. The manager is extremely rude and doesn’t know how to talk. Very poor service.

We order chicken boneless biriyani, mutton biriyani and chicken lollypop all are super tasty. Loved all the items. Only 1 thing if they could add 1 boiled egg in biriyani it will be great.

Had biryani and starters there. Boneless biryani is a must try. It's a good place for having a pocket friendly lunch/dinner.

The quantity of chicken is quite less, compared to th le amount of rice. Also had ordered 2 biriyanis but only 1 raita given. Now with so less chicken and almost half the raita, its difficult to eat. Taste wise its good, but still feel its way to spicy, specially too much use of chilli and chilli powder

If I wanted to have insects in my food, I would have travelled to China.<br/>Meghana Foods was a trusted name till now, but today I ordered biryani and there was a cockroach or some insect in the food. Will not be ordering from here anytime soon.

One of the best place to have biryani in Whitefield. Can't get over with boneless chicken biryani specially. The food is little spicy but chicken jab tak thoda spicy na ho tab tak Maza Kaha aata hai 🤣 😋

I have ordered Paneer biryani from this place and i would say it didn’t disappoint me at all. The quantity you get for the price is really worth and would probably make you not eat anything else the whole day. Their concept of delivering paneer biryani is to give in separate cover with the paneer curry and rice in other and you could add for extra masala as well. I found the rice to be of good quality and masala added in panner was also good. Only suggestion would be to reduce the salt and oil in masala and rice. It was a good overall experience and would definitely give a try on other cuisines out there.

Location is accessible from most of the places in Bengaluru. Better to book a table if planning dinner on weekends. Taste is definitely KSP of this. Chicken biryani is easily in top 10 or may be top 5 in the City

Ordered mutton biryani from this place. Biryani was tasty and even the salad was awesome . Since in lockdown packaging is important to talk about and that too did not disappoint us as per safety . This is the third time they messed up with the order .They never send the bonless biryani gravy when you place an order for their boneless or special boneless chicken biryani.They just send plain biryani rice and i am fed up of seeing the same mistake happening again and again.

I ordered through Zomato and instead of 2 Gravy I received 2 Raita. This is not the first time it is happening when I order online. If I call the restaurant they politely say that we will add it in your next order. Genuinely speaking Meghan's is good but their online service is like headless chicken. SORRY Meghan's not acceptable everytime 😓
