Review By 2 Coffee - Bengaluru

I visited this for the first time. Before this I heard about this on Social media, YouTube. I'm delighted and very much satisfied after having lunch here. Excellent environment, very cleanly maintained premises. Very cordial and systematic service. Food tastes awesome. Worth visiting place with family to have a traditional and homely food for a reasonable price.

Visited the bhojana shale for lunch on a weekend. It was not so crowded, but not empty as well. The cost of full meal is ₹140, which includes a good variety of dishes (pic attached). The holige and akki roti was really good. The sambar was authentic and tasted delicious. The place seemed to be in a hurry and commotion, where they serve as soon as possible and finish their work instead of waiting for us to enjoy the food. That's the only negative I noticed. Other than that, the taste of food is good and economical as well. The people who serve can be more courteous.

It's good taste and affordable price. Best known for affordability and low price with best service and food.

Bhojana shale - Had Lunch here .Lunch was served on plantain leaf . Seating was in Rows like done in functions , weddings etc. Am assortment of items in lunch was fulfilling. Sambar and rasam were tasty Holige with ghee was very tasty. All these for Rs 140/- only . Do visit and Enjoy Lunch at Bhojana Shale.

I had the Rs.140 meal served on Banana leaf. In today's times having a stomach full of good vegetarian home like food which is soothing to your taste buds is rare, I want to congratulate By2Coffee management and staff for coming up with this offering. You may have to wait for 15-20 min for your turn to savour the food, let me tell you it's worth the wait. I highly recommend this place if you want to have a simple meal which is pleasantly flavoured.

Had banana leaf meal which costs 140rs. This was typical South Indian food with taste of traditional touch. Serving of food is also systematic.

Okay. I have tasted best of bests Dosa all over the place. Name a few: Mylari Dosa Mysore. MTR from Cubbon park. CTR dosa from Malleshwaram. Rameshwaram Dosa. Davanagere Benne Dosa from Davangere, Basaveshwara nagar. But Vijayanagar By2Coffee dosa didn’t disappoint me. In fact I enjoyed the taste. Crispy texture. Neatly cooked. Softly let ghee. Aloo palle. And gatti chutney. It was lovely.

Food taste was good .. price is also fine and worth of 140rs .. unlimited except the obbat .. so guys try here.. they prepare meal well without using soda , garlic and onion and all . But then too the taste is good.. ..

Too crowded, I mean if that's what makes you decide if a place is good or bad then there it is. You need to be vocal throughout your ordering process and make yourself heard. Food is good, very tasty. Cost per portion is a bit higher, but cost per taste is quite good.

The taste is delicious, the price is reasonable, and the quality is good. Crowd management and service must be improved.

Have been an regular customer here for an glass of coffee, Vada and dosa for breakfast. One of the fast moving restaurents around Vijayanagar Bangalore. Always an busy place especially during morning and evening. They provide meal all time of the day which is very good. The hygine and tast of the food is not at all compromised. They also have food South meals which is called as bhojana shale which is an must try.

One of the oldest eateries in Bangalore serving some delectable idly and chutney. Vada served is out of the world. Coffee is divine. The place has been a popular for many since years and is passed on from generation to generation.

Come any time and u can just munchin steaming hot idlis with yummy tasty chutney here.... Do not expect sambar here... Go for masala dosa n plain dosa here n they to are equally yumm.... A coffee post dinner is must.

Has my heart ❤ This place is THE MUST VISIT, if u are looking for best tiffins. Omg the taste of dosa and chow chow bath will remain in ur mind forever. The menu might not be big but they serve the yummiest tiffin ever. They also have coffee shop, and a holige mane inside with wide variety of holiges. must try. Also the bhojana shale will have unlimited food too. 😋 As it is in main road parking might be little difficult. Take care MUST VISIT.

Kesaribath is my favourite since I know the hotel and taste was really best and awesome but quantity was very less for that money.

This hotel offers amazing food at a very good pocket friendly price. Idly, vada and dosa is a must to try. They prepare food in hygienic way.

Quantity is very less for 210INR. Don't get looted from this place. Poriyals are just like one teaspoon as though it's fed for birds. Horrible taste and food. One single akkirotti is provided and it's so dam hard can play Frisbee with it. Food not worth even 60rs...

What started off as a small outlet, has expanded into a place with wide ranging breakfast options. From crisp case and soft idli to delicious dosas at reasonable prices. To end it all is a delightful filter coffee true to the name of the restaurant. Apart from this, you also have holige and other sweets to choose from. The taste was excellent. There is not seating and parking might be a problem. Prices are very reasonable.

The place is pocket friendly. The breakfast here is very fast moving and hence its very fresh. The chow chow bath is very tasty. The idly vada here is the best seller. They have introduced dosa recently

I had ordered two plate khara bath and two plates idli for two people. But it was disappointing to see the khara bath was sent in one single package. It was very uncomfortable to share between the two. We had ordered two separate plates because v expected it to be in two separate packaging. It was not acceptable.

Chutney is yumm here, with tangy green tomatoes flavour which makes for good combination with Idli-Vada. Dosa is good too. Easy on pocket as well

Good dosa, vada and chutney.. If sambar they add would be great.. Vada is crispy, big and nice. Idli can be still improved as cooking needs to be done full for idli.. Sometimes good, sometimes half cooked

Best coconut chutney I ever tasted, I usually can't eat dosa only with chutney and needs sambhar with it. But at this place the chutney is so amazing you ll never feel the need of anything else.

Idly was not cooked properly. Sambar is not served. Chutney is spicy with very less salt. Ppl may prefer eat it there is okay somehow.. but getting it home delivered is a bad idea!! Horrible food when you're hungry. Useless packaging. Never would I order again.

Had the joy to experience @ Vijaynagar, Nagarabhavi & Malleswaram, all items are best,  why not open an outlet  in BEL Layout 2nd Stage, Bharathnagar, Magadi Road, near Opp. Karnataka Bank, can gaurantee the success, since there are no hotels in near vicinity.......why should we be deprived off....hope you consider the honest request

The busiest idli outlet in Vijayanagar serving good soft idlis and crispy vadas paired with chutney. People come from places to have idlies here since years. The kharabath is also great. I am kind of idli sambar person, but for the first time I loved idli chutney combo here. Drop here when you are nearby. Reasonable prices !! There is no seating as such, but saw people crossing the road with idli plates to sit in the opposite side park fence 😃

The ordered food was delivered on time and the delivery person too was courteous. Idly/Vada was hot, but the only issue was the vadas were too oily. Had to press through paper napkins to drain out the excess oil.

We used to think that this hotel is good & provides good food. But we were disappointed when we found a cockroach in khara bhath. We spoke to the supplier but he started ignoring us & acted as if nothing has happened. Cashier also didn't bothered to acknowledge the issue. Later some old person(manager) came & started consoling us. My humble request don't visit this hotel, it's not a personal grudge but please dont risk your health. If the owner is viewing this. Please keep your hotel hygienic & hire some responsible staff.

The quality and quantity of food has got changed when I ordered the food through zomato whereas if you visit the hotel, the quality and quantity will really satisfy you. Dear By2coffee team, please don't lose your brand name while delivering food through other channel. Please try to serve the same quality and quantity of food when a customer orders through any food delivering platform.

I liked the idlis here. It's become a go to place for idli dinner :) Delivery is on time. Sometimes early :) it's also quite inexpensive compared to other delivery places.

One place which has never disappointed me even after many visits is by 2 coffee, as the name suggests you get by 2 filter coffee which is just amazing and you also get soft idlis, crispy vadas and karabath served with delicious chutney. Breakfast or a quick evening bite, with friends or family, there is nothing like having some idli, vadas and filter coffee.

Amazing idly and vada... It's so yummy that even when I am writing this review I could imagine the idly vada I had couple of weeks back. Thought the name is by 2 coffee, I can relate it to idli vada only.

One of the best in Vijayanagar in terms of quality and value for money. They make a few items in which they specialize. This is how every restaurant should be.

We had holige here is hot and too tasty.. coconut holige, koya holige, chiroti all are mouthwatering.. Bangalore is awesome for street food.. parcel is available..

This place has been a sensation ever since it opened up. People were pouring out of the small set up. They've expanded now and people are still pouring out of the set up. They don't have seats or many tables but, they serve in small plates that can be comfortably held while standing and eating. The set up is always kept clean and they're very efficient in clearing the used utensils. They make very soft idlis and their chow chow bath is amazing! Their chutney is a little bland though (for those who like their chutneys to be spicy. Otherwise, the chutney is good too).<br/><br/>They've started making dosas and holige too. They have many varieties of holige too. The masala dosas are crisp, with just the aloo and no masala.

Soft Idlis and Crispy vadas are my personal favourites here. But people expecting to have Sambhar idli will be disappointed as there's no Sambhar but the chutney makes amends for that as it's one of a kind and their specialty too. Also try the filter coffee here.

I don't know when this place will have some place to take something and eat peacefully... Always crowded...infact over crowded... They serve the best chutney in the world... U can get coffee here for 5 bucks... but waiting , parking and trying to find a place to eat is the biggest problem... But the chutney is worth the wait...

Wow if anybody is looking for mouthwatering idle vada or kharabhat then this place is for them. They have only few item on menu. They won't serve sambar for idle or vada, only chutney. And believe me you can refill chutney as many times you want, No restrictions for chutney. They will prepare idle with out soda and chutney with out ginger and garlic. Coming to the coffee they serve one of the best coffee in the city. They are closed on Tuesday. Only cash.

BY2 COFFEE is an amazing place if you are looking for a quick snack with an awesome coffee.  I love this concept where in they have just 6 items on the menu ( idly, vada, kesaribath, kharabath, tea, coffee) and still attract thousands of customers per day.  They literally create traffic jams as long as they are open.<br/><br/>Taste wise , I would give full marks to this restaurant. Each of the 4  eatables are awesome in taste , specially the idly which has had the same delicious taste from the day this eat-out opened in vijaynagar. For sweet lovers, the kesaribath here is one of the best I had had till now. Its a must try.<br/><br/>What adds to the popularity of this eating joint is the low price of its items.  idly + vada+ coffee  would come in just 40 rupees and that would be the best 40 rupees u would have ever spent on food. Also, the management made a very good decision by not putting chairs and tables . Thsi ensures that nobody lazes around and the crowd keeps moving swiftly. You dont feel suffocated due to the moving crowd.<br/><br/>Finally the coffee. Awesome coffee !!. It always lights me up and makes me come back to this place every day. You could check in this place when u want to have idlis. There idlis are one of a kind. They provide really really soft idlis and crispy vadas. The place is famous for its 1 by 2 coffee but I didn't find the coffee that amazing. They offer typical south Indian breakfast with very less options. There is no dosa available here. They are extremely good at what they offer. I have tried idli vada and kesaribath which was delicious. And again there's no service here and this place can be a option for a quick breakfast.

Idly vada with chunky plus coffee here is heaven. Been there several times and would recommend this place to anyone. No place to sit though, but worth going there for the taste.

Loved this place. I had visited this place couple of times, they serve great Idly vadas and coffees.<br/>But I still feel Basavangudi By2Coffee holds better tastes than this one. But definitely worth visiting this place for their taste and price.
