Review Sukh Sagar Hotel - Bengaluru

Himanth Athish
It is the prime place of Kormangala and a good spot for quick breakfast and coffee break. I had ordered Masala Puri and Pav Bhaji, masala puri is not as of South Indian style it tastes like North Indian. Pav Bhaji is average as I have had better Bhaji so I didn’t feel so great about it. The service is good and there is ample space for service and also there is self service. Parking a car is a big task as the place will always be busy.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sukh Sagar Hotel, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From start to finish, everything about the evening was impeccable. The ambiance of the restaurant was elegant and inviting, setting the stage for a memorable meal. The staff's hospitality was exceptional; they made me feel like a valued guest from the moment I walked in. The menu was a culinary delight, offering a diverse selection of dishes to cater to various tastes. I was particularly impressed by the creativity and quality of the food. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The service was prompt and attentive, with the staff offering excellent recommendations and ensuring that every need was met. They displayed a deep knowledge of the menu and a passion for delivering a top-notch dining experience. Sukh Sagar Hotel's commitment to excellence was evident in every aspect of my dinner. It's a place where food becomes art, and I left with a sense of culinary satisfaction that's hard to come by. I wholeheartedly recommend Sukh Sagar Hotel to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to return and savor more of their culinary delights.

One of the old restaurant which still runs successfully with good taste. Ambience is decent with lot of crowd as it was weekend Staff are polite and quick in serving Must try paneer manchurian and baby corn chilly Noodles was too spicy with lot of local masala which needs improvement Prices are reasonable and affordable

Heaven for the vegetarians. I tried Kulcha, Veg Pulao, Dum aloo kashmiri, Malai kofta & Deserts. All were very good in taste. Malai kofta deserves special mention. Superb quality. You must go for a try. Price also very much reasonable. I just loved it.❤️ # On Sunday, South Indian thali is not available.

When in Bengaluru, idli-dosa is a must! So we visited Sukh Sagar restaurant to taste the south Indian delicacy.❤️ We ordered masala dosa, uttapam, and idli wada dip. The sambar and chutney were the best.🔥 The masala dosa was soft and thick, which I liked. The uttapam was great.👍 The best thing was the idli wada dip, which was drenched in the sambar and served with chutney.😋 Very tasteful. Overall, a good experience! Usually crowded and difficult to find place.🤩

Encountered this eatery on my way back to home. I tried their pav bhaji, papdi chaat and cheese pav bhaji. The pav bhaji is quite good, not the typical mumbai taste but decent flavours. Although missed a bit of spice, the quantity is good and the pavs are soft & buttery. Papdi chaat was surprisingly good. The curd was super fresh. They had put black channas along with boiled potatoes which tasted good.

We've been visiting sukh Sagar for the last 15 to 20 years. It has a relaxed atmosphere, great food and decent prices considering its in Koramangala. Definitely recommend the paav bhaji here.

Really yummy food and good service too. They hurry you a little because breakfast time is really busy but the food is totally worth it. The ghee podi idli has a little less ghee than I like but it still tastes great. Dosas are totally the best

I had meals for Rs. 70 from other side of Restuarant where you don't have place for seating. It's worth for 70 rs and u wil have to stand and have food. The same meal u will have to pay more of you have it from dinein side. I got three puri's, subzi, rice, sambar, rasam, curd, sweet and papad. Quality and quantity of the food is good.

We reached at 3:30pm which was closing time for the fine fine restaurant. We were welcomed with a smile and given amazing service and food. Awesome place and super courteous staff

Good place to eat near st. John's auditorium Hygienic. Service is good and food is tasty. Price is slightly on the higher side though

Nice family restaurant 😋 food was delicious but to busy, but of course, if you served delicious food, you would be busy . Now talk about price which is really impressive means its not expensive for us.

On a winter morning visit to Koramangala 5th Block, we decided to have South Indian Breakfast thus leading us to Sukh sagar, located on 100 feet road and nearest to our destination.

➡ Ordered a plate of Idly and Open Dosa. Both tasted delicious. Sambar and Chutney was generously served.
➡ The open dosa was truly filling ! The vegetables and spices complemented well in the masala.😋 Sambar is bit sweetish. But overall tasted well with the dosa.
➡ However few of the options in the menu are overpriced and is definitely not pocket friendly. I guess the location is also one of the factors for the prices. The staff is bit rude and not courteous. 👎 The way they take the orders and respond to queries is unsatisfactory.

Overall a good restaurant for vegetarian cuisines with multiple options to choose from.

Food-4/5
Hygiene-3.5/5
Ambience (Ground floor dineout)- 3/5
Service-2/5

The service sucks and the food quality has degraded. Could see cockroaches crawling. Hope they make necessary changes!

I went to Sukhsagar yesterday night and ordered for vegetable fried rice and north indian meals which are horrible to eat. I never ate this type of worst quality in bengaluru. They used broken rice for fried rice which nobody uses even poor people also. North Indian meals also very very low quality ingredients they were using oils dough rice everything were were worst quality worst taste. Cost was very very High for this type of poor people feed. Don't go anybody to Sukhsagar Koramangala 5th block.
We visited this restaurant after years and so gld we did. Though it not changed a bit over the years. Same decor that it had 10 yrs ago. Same waiters serving all these years.
Anyways we ordered the North Indian Deluxe Meals. It has a large number of items and can be easily shared between 2ppl.
Each and every item was yummy. Surprised that they’ve maintained their taste all these years.
In d mood for some old school North Indian. Head over to this place. U will enjoy it👍🏼

Visited this place many times. Tried many thing from here like set dosa, msala dosa, idly vada etc. Quality and taste of the food is excellent.Must visit place for awesome breakfast.

Best place to kormangla 5th block Jyoti niwas college road ,
Quick break fast or have a nice meal,
The food quality and quantity is good, I ordered one curd rice,
The have the self service counter ,
Price is pocket friendly,
Overall good experience......

Darshinis in Koramangala are rare, with many pubs and cafes sprouting up! But food at this place is good, despite being bit heavy on the pocket!
Went here for morning breakfast and tried the Cheese Masala Dosa, and the gratings of cheese and potato just complemented really well, dipped with the sambhar and chutney! It was really very filling!
Also tried the vada and coffee with this. Vada was crisp and delicious. The coffee was piping hot and strong!
Although the ambience wasn't too good, the service was extremely fast and efficient!
Anusha Prasad
It’s okay place and may be a cheaper option at Koramangala 😁
One must try spring dose here. It’s awesome!!
Other items are okay.
Coffee is great here!!

Whenever I visit bangluru it is my favourite destination for pure veg cuisine and it never disappointed me. This time we have tried its Paneer Kadhai, Dal Tadka with tandoori roti and it was realy dislicious, we also tried panipuri and special Kulfi Fluda drink and it was fantastic.

Ambious is fine, service is excellent and staff are trained, A must visit restaurant for veg foodies for great food.

Ashhna Agarwal
Waste of money. Tasteless and cold food. Will never recommend it. The service also sucks. No one is bothered to serve you properly. Please don't visit.

Been to this place for breakfast and lunch many a times. Nothing out of the ordinary, the first floor is the a/c restaurant while, for me, the ground floor is more on the buzzing with activity type. Apart from the usual South Indian dishes like dosas and idlis (try the delicious rava dosa), they do serve thalis both North and South Indian (the North Indian thali might not satiate your hunger fully and you may need to order extra rotis) and Chinese dishes (most of which can be avoided as they are unable to get the dishes right and you can feel the lack of effort from the cook's part). I tried the Lassi once and it was a big disappointment.

Weekend mornings are usually crowded so try to go early. Try the hot puris with cofee. a combo I love having. The masala dosa and the kesari bhaat are good to have.

Food is okay and will fit in within a budget although I find some of the food items a little overpriced for the quality offered. Service can be frustating at times...

Food:3/5
Value for money:3/5
Service:3/5
Ambiance: 2/5
Shraddha Kamath.
The Food here is tasty as well as nutritious tomato onion uttapam ( south indian fluffy pancake) is one of them and the chutney was very flavorful too ...they take your customisation into consideration whether it's to put less oil or to ommit adding any ingredient.
There's a chaat corner right at the entry which is q clean ..the smell of pav bhaji will attract you for sure!!
Rahul Tilak
Good place for Ur month ends,it's economical, the location is good, the staff is ok not that friendly , the thali option is really good, taste wise and price wise, dal roti or roti sabzi is also really tasty. It's a place to hang out with Ur friends... There is construction going on so it mite be a bit dusty and hard to get there in peak hours
Deepthi Satheesh
Average taste for their prices. Ambience is okayish. Good for a quick lunch or snack during busy hours. But too much crowd during evenings. Not much hygenic.
Kunal Kumar S
Hot dog, Pav bhaji, Grilled sandwich are out of the heaven here! Quick service ! Very clean and hygienic place to be ! A family restaurant ! Located at a prime location

We had Butter Masala Dosa and Cheese Butter Masala Dosa.
Cheese Butter Masala was best among these two dosas.
Sambar was little bit sweetish in taste but I liked it.
Service was fast and Staffs were polite.
Overall good experience.
Would love to visit again.👍👍👍👍

Sukh Sagar is situated on the main road, and this iconic joint is a good place to have a lip smacking South Indian breakfast , the service is fast and the price is also reasonable.
We tried rice idli, rava idli and Bhajji, it all tasted good .
Pooja Doifode
We went here around 10.30 at night. Just 2 tables were filled at that time.It was all peace and silence like we wanted. Service was fast and the staff was extremely polite and nice. We ordered butter naan and kadhai panner and they were just awesome. One can just go anytime and eat here even when running low on budget. It just costed 400 for two of us. Quantity of the vegetable was decent and enough for three. They can probably improve on ambience part but then the way it is now, makes it unique and gives the feel of small town/city restaurants. Overall a lovely experience.
Nithesh Satish
Ambience for standing customers is not so good. The idly and dosa served here seem to priced moderately. Taste is also moderate. Chats are decent. The curry served along with roti is moderate.

Recommended foods : North Indian Meal and Dahi Bhel Puri.

Amazing paneer Tikka masala and butter roti. And the sev puri was just refreshing. Very fresh ingredients and the palette was absolutely cleansed. Must must visit

Sukh Sagar is not just a restaurant, it is a landmark to guide people to the happening 1st Cross in Koramangala 5th Block. This place is one of the many ‘Sagar’s across the city. The name is renowned for the wholesome quantity and quality of food.

They serve items from The South, The North and The Orient, and loads of juices and milkshakes.

When I visited, I was only in the mood to have some chaats and so we ordered a sev puri and masala puri. When they served it, we were surprised to see the how the masala puri looked. We then asked the person behind the counter and he told us that this how they make it. Well, to be honest, I’m still not aligned with the chaats in this city. Although both the chaats tasted good, I was subconsciously not liking them since they were not the way I had expected.

I don’t see myself as a frequent to this place but would like to explore other popular items from their menu.

Cheers!

Been going here for the past 15 years, amazing place but I’d say that the quality has degraded ever since. But yeah the food is good and tasty but nothing like it used to be back in the days. Place feels a bit too cramped.
Ananya Nandila
I had ordered gobi and masala dosa . gobi was very very salty that we cudnt eat at all. Worst taste .And masala dosa also tasted very bad. And the chutney they had provided was not good at all
Kalra’s
This is one of the worths places to have dosa i really didnt like it at all. The sambar they served had absolutely no taste. The chatney was also not good. We tried masala dosa and rava masala dosa and had to actually leave it half eaten. It was not at all good in taste. Totally not worth the money.
Jonas Monteiro
The restaurant makes mushroom manchow soup and calls it cream of mushroom soup. Re-ordered the same thinking it's a mistake, but the chef makes the same item again.
Either you take the item off the menu or get a chef who knows how to make it

Visited this place for Breakfast as we had got bored of the usual taste. This place is around 200 meters away from my home and I had heard about their chaats a lot. Coming to the ambience, it is quite big and nice. They have some tables and sofas arranged to accommodate a quite good number of people together. As usual I took my favourite Paper Masala Dosa and Rava Onion Dosa. First one was crispy and good but the Masala I didn’t like much. Could have been better. Rava onion was not even up to the mark. It wasn’t cooked well. I have had better ones at other places. The price they are quoting is way too high than other similar veg restaurants and the food taste is not matching that cost. Will visit again to try their Chaats once and will see if the rating could be changed that time.

Kormangala is a happening place with so many food places to visit. Sukh Sagar is one of them, this hotel has been there for so many years serving gr8 food, good hospitality. The food here is south Indian and other foods. Staff here are very friendly.🙂

Nice joint for typical chaat type and vegetarian dishes. Paav bhhaji, paani pori and filter coffee were just right for our hungry stomach. Overall a nice place to quench your hunger.

Great place for authentic Indian vegetarian food. The north Indian thali is a feast. So many great dishes! Somehow managed to finish it by myself! 😅

This is a nice veg restaurant in koramangala... It has 3 sections - AC Dining, Non-AC Dining and Self-Service.... The Self-Service section has no sitting facility and limited menu...
I visited the AC Dining on the 1st floor recently... The prices are surely on the higher side... But the ambience of the place sort of makes up for the high price... Ideal place is you are planning for a dine-out with family
We ordered 4 starters (of which Thai Baby corn was the worst while Chinese Bhel the best)... The paneer offerings is usually nice here while Dal Makhani was quite bland
Himanshu Midha
Good place to have south Indian and north Indian dishes.
I liked the north Indian meal as price and quality is really good.
If anyone is looking for good North Indian mini meal then this place is a good option.
There is a mini Punjabi meal which is really good and I loved the food so almost daily I visit this place to have lunch.
Very Classic n Old Pure Veg Restaurant, Food quality still maintaining very well, quick service and ambiance is good. Dosa Iteams/Chats are good and even North/chines dishes are good.

Overall its good for Family who looking for pure veg.

about price bit expensive when we compare to other same kind of restaurant.

Authentic South Indian joint. Tasty food, comfortable seating. Its been always a favourite place for me to take my visiting guests to relish the south Indian dishes in Karnataka style. They are not finicky about serving extra chutney and sambhar here. I like each and every thing served here being from breakfast items of Idli, vada, upma, uthapam, dosas etc to thalis (South Indian, North Indian) and Faaluda in desserts. Surely worth visiting the outlet.
Prernatalreja7
Sukh sagar has been one of my oldest eatouts. The paneer butter masala and the chaats are delicious. Moreover the south Indian food is absolutely brilliant. Its very reputed so there is always a lot of rush and one of the best go to north Indian restraunts.
Mrfunnydrool
With the fate of the state hanging in the balance I will try and ensure that your taste buds don’t.
This outlet of Sukh sagar is in Koramangla. The decor is simple and the minimal effort gone into maintenance over the years is visible.
Anyway I called for a masala dosa.
The dosa is ekdum kadak and the masala has a decent amount of onion which gives it a tad bit of sweetness.
The real superstar of this cliche is the sambhar.
It is the perfect sambhar in all aspects.Spicy, sweet and the sour with a ratio of 1:1:1.
It’s the kind of stuff you’d take home and introduce to your family(if they don’t join you here).
The chutney is also good and I urge the restaurant to keep its sambhar secret safe in the vaults.
The staff is hella sweet and go an extra mile to give you 1-1 attention.
It is an evergreen place and let’s hope it can make you sukhi like its name.
Have a good time here,cheers🥂

A very decent place where you can be assured of consistent food quality. They do not have signature dishes - but the variety they have caters to everybody's taste. I have always used their dining hall upstairs. Service is very good. Very neat and good ambience for a family dinner.

After my book launch on April 1, 2018,which ended around 1.30 pm, we were famished. And wanted to have full meals, which means the elaborate thali lunch, with an assortment of lentils and vegetable curries. Thus we ended up at the vegetarian restaurant – Sukh Sagar. We asked for a South Indian thali – but they did not have it (though it was listed in their menu) For a moment, I was depressed. Nevertheless, at least they had the North Indian thali. So we went ahead and opted for the North Indian thali. They had a deluxe version too, but I adhered to the much simpler thali, priced at Rs. 145. I noticed that their South Indian thali was priced lesser than the North Indian thali. Besides the thali, there were many dishes listed on their elaborate menu.

This place to opp kotak mahindra bank , good for south Indian breakfast meal as well as for north Indian food , I would like to prefer for South Indian food , I am regular visitor for this place for break fast and meal.... I like to eat here masala dosa and idly chatuney.....

I remember visiting the original Sukh Sagar when I was young, for family dinners. Can't recollect how it was then, but the memories of my recent visit to the Koramangala branch are quite fresh.

Very conveniently located, and a landmark in itself for guiding cabbies etc. The only disadvantage now, is the road work going on in front of the place. If you choose to sit in the ground floor, choose a table far in if available to avoid dust and noise.

Sukh Sagar is unpretentious in what it is, and what it serves. Primarily South Indian cuisine, with the smattering of Chinese and North Indian thrown in. I went here for breakfast, and had my usual Idli-Vada and Plain Dosa. I liked it. The vada was crisp, so was the dosa. The sambar and chutney were reminiscent of what one generally gets in Bangalore. I loved the service. It was fast, and the waiter was a smiling, polite man.

The food is definitely VFM, considering you are being served (over the self service section). I just couldn't get over the fact that a glass of Musambi juice cost 90 Rupees! Well, I'll stick to coffee the next time I'm here.

An old name in Bangalore, Sukh Sagar still goes on without disappointing.
Aayush Sinha
This place is really good, on ground floor, there is normal place to eat, but if you go upstairs, the ambience is surely like a fine-dine restro. (Really good if you are on a date, *wink wink*).

The menu is South Indian + North Indian + Chinese...
We ordered idli sambhar dip. They were so amazing, that we ordered a second serving fr the same. The quantity is also very good.
Next thing we ordered was Masala Dosa, it was really good too, good quantity and good quality.

Best part... It was too cheap, literally... 3 awesome dishes for just 250.... It really is a WoW restro. If you are into South Indian, you should definitely try this place...
Chetansjaisingh
Horrible and rude behaviour. Menu says open till 11. But they refuse to serve food post 10PM. When we screamed, they are forcing us to choose from the menu what they want us to have!

I hope I can give a minus rating
Karthik
Food is fresh and tastes nice..but, I feel it's way too highly priced when you order al carte north indian and Chinese dishes and top of it on weekends they do not offer south indian thali. Order taking and serving staff are a little rude with less hospitality inplace.
Udit Bhatia
Staple and fresh is how I would define this place. They have a large menu covering most north and south indian dishes. I ordered the rawa dosa and paneer paratha. Both the dishes were pretty good and freshly prepared. Do not expect gourmet flavours. The service was prompt. The north indian curries seemed a bit expensive given the ambience of this place but still, it remains a good budget place to eat in Bangalore.

Ambience-3/5
Taste-3/5
Service-4/5
Vfm- 4/5

Probably the best south indian food in Koramangala. Simple delicious and hygenic. Bang on main road but maintains good quality always. Worth the money. Go for it.
Sanjay Kamat
I was a regular here for years ( from 2000) ..used all the services...fast outlet, the dining at the top ...they had been consistent in their quality and service ...but then I stopped going there when this happened ...they served up a baby cockroach in the chutney along with idli vada(2015 time) ...these places go under the radar when it comes.to hygiene and checks for the kitchen , I guess...hope they have done something about it...

Crowded always but best dosa ever! Crispy dosa with yummy chutne! South Indian food with the best tasted chutney and sambhar! Sundays can be a perfect day to visit and enjoy the delicious food here

This is a typical traditional South Indian hotel with an old school charm. Ambience is decent and service is pretty quick even during peak hour lunch time. I sometimes go here for my lunch and have south indian meals. Taste is ok so is quantity.

Disappointed with the paper dosa... just a late version of regular dosa ... nothing paper about it. So giving 1. Otherwise I love the dosas.
Neethi
My review is based solely on one weekday breakfast at the fast food self service half of this restaurant. It is in high demand with people from all walks of life trying to rush to work and grabbing breakfast on the way from here. It opens very early. Waiting time and price are very less compared to other centers. Surprisingly cheap for a costly area like Koramangala. Even the quantity is wholesome. The food is palatable but could be better. However there is a huge compromise on cleanliness and upkeep of the place. The restaurant attached with it looks totally opposite though. It can be a saviour in an emergency however whenever possible its better to opt for the table service area.
Sanmay Goyal
Nice place overall for a Pure veg person. The Menu is inclusive of North Indian as well as south Indian food
The ambiance, taste and service is descent enough to visit it once for a vegetarian. It is almost value for money and worth trying.
Sai Ram
This has Good ambience.
Good food.
Cleanliness : OK.
Serving: OK.
Maintenance: OK.
Meals are good. Tiffin items are also good. Apt for family. North Indian items so costly not worth for the cost.

Sukh Sagar
A well known brand in the city since the restaurant is established. They have maintained very good name in their own Recipes & Hospitality.
This outlet is on Outer Ring Road at 5th Block, Koramangala. Located at the corner of the JNC road.

Headed around 2 in the noon to have Thali, went through menu and found all types of cusines like South Indian, North Indian & Chinese.

Ordered Deluxe North Indian Thali, Which costed ne around 145₹ including taxes.
Thali includes 3 types of Gravies, 1 Sweet, Tomato Soup, Papad, Green Salad, Palau and Curd.
This was limited served.

Thali was enough for One with good taste and hot served.

Food - 4/5
Service - 4/5
Hospitality - 4/5
Cleanliness - 4/5

This restaurant is on the main road and just opposite to the ezone. The place is maintained neat and clean. We ordered Kashmiri pulav and Hyderabadi biryani. It took a while for us to get the order. The food was taste less, with less salt on the pulav and biryani was less spicy. Needed much improvement on the taste of food 🍴

Decent veg restaurant. Good variety of fast food available. Jain variations also available. Apart, the service is not bad, not very fast though. We had a pav bhaji, but the pavs were not buttered and were raw. Something to improve on.
Suraj Iyer
Visited this restaurant after almost 15 years... A typical Indian Veg restaurant serving all sorts of regional cuisines from North Indian to South Indian foods. This has nothing special to mention, but rest assured a good place in terms of ambiance and suited for those who ponder to have food from a pure Veg restaurant.

After getting to know about the hype around this place through a colleague , we gave it a try for the weekend lunch and it was totally worth it.

They have both Ac and non Ac seatings and its upto your preference. We ordered the Rajdhani thali as we were so hungry and we decided to try everything else for the next visit.

We couldn't try anything else because of the thali , though it seemed very light. Will try their north indian snacks next time :)

The only reason I ever went to this place was because I lived down the road and I like to ignore the fact that I need nutrition until I am light headed.
Ash.george
Went for dinner. Service was good. They don't serve poori in the evenings . Food was okay. Ordered butter masala dosa. Didn't know it was the normal masala dosa with a blob of butter on top till it arrived. Tasted okay. Also had naan and chana masala. Naan was good but the chana was a bit hard. By 8.30 pm they stopped serving tea and coffee. Overall an okay experience.

Service is good and the upper level has good seating area. Food is fine. Chole bathure is something you should avoid too much oil and chola is no North Indian style.
Food 3/5
Ambience 3/5
Service 3/5

Go for the thali if you are starving.

Same feel like having food in uduppi park restaurants. I tried Rice meals on lunch time. Mangalore style rice meals. Same taste of udupii park i felt, the curries of the rice meals are very good including sweet rasagola. Crowd also same like uduppi park. If you looking for proper south indian rice meals .Try this place when you are near to sony signal kormangala
Service - 4/5
Pricing -4.5/5
Taste quality - 4.5/5

Headed here for a quick breakfast and ordered sambar idili and vada. The sambar is sweet which is exactly how I do not prefer my sambar :/ other than that the vada and coffee was good.

Wow... Old is gold and that's so true about this gem of a place... I remember visiting this joint 10 years back during my stay in bangalore and visit again in 2017 was nostalgic indeed.. Food still tastes the same, sumptuous, fresh and nicely served.. I just love everything in the menu, from set Dosa to dip idly to khara bag, must try the filter coffee to water down the delicacies
Harshit SHarma
You'd think a place this popular would serve really good pav bhaji, but you'd be wrong. It was our bad that we ordered north Indian food, should have gone for South Indian. The service is good, they care about the specifications which is satisfying. The tea was really really awesome though.
Jas
Never visited this place but order food frequently from this place... Food is worth of each penny... If you are looking for Karnataka style food then must visit this place
Prithu Ganguli
Menu is Southie. Good for breakfast/snacks. You got that classic filter coffee and a wide range of dosas, etc. Very filling and cost is reasonable. You can't really go wrong with this place and it's a whole lot better than that stupid setup called "Hole In The Wall" which is close by.
Sudhindra N R
The food tastes decent. The prices are way high for the ambiance and facilities this restaurant offers. The service is poor and extremely slow. Try to avoid, enter if you have no other choice.

Like any other South Indian fast food centers lots of breakfast options and moderate price, usually crowded during lunch hours. Has got service hall too but never tried always visit for quick bite on way to my office

This is a fusion restaurant with north, south & Chinese cuisine. We like the thali's, falooda shakes, idlies & amazingly quick service. The ambiance is classic & the staff is generally accommodating. The portion of the food is good enough. Recommended place for south indian breakfast, north indian thali lunch & shakes for casual dining.

Taste wise good. Quick delivery. Chooley was yum. Service was fast. Staff attentive. Over all experience was good. Enough for one person. Thanks
Quick service, decent darshini food and affordable prices! Only negative is that the taste is not always consistent, have had a bad meal on rare occasions but always first choice for a quick veg lunch in the area!

Recently I went to this restaurant with my family. Ambience was decent. We had ordered Chinese and North Indian meal. Taste was good. Must say value for money.

Pathetic staff. Never going back there.

My office happens to be in the vicinity of this outlet and so I usually go here for lunch. Their Rava Onion Masala Dosa is my go-to dish and I like the lassi too. Overall a good experience.

Been to this place for years now. It has always delivered excellent south Indian food experience. Butter masala dosa is a must try. The staff is helpful despite of the amount of crowd present.

Do try the masala chai, its good. Tried several chaat items and they were all decent.

For a sagar it's pretty big I must say.
The food tastes average nothing to highlight.
It was crowded on a weekday. It does justice to a sagar hotel. For a quick bite you can drop by. If you're looking for a proper Dine in, its very noisy and crowded. Not value for money.

This place is exactly opposite to my office so , keep going here to grab breakfast or sometime to even have lunch. Place is to have only south Indian food. Ya slightly expensive compared to food

I went there to have North Indian food. I think the soup was decent and the starters were okay. Naan happened to be terrible, I specifically asked to make it crispy and what they gave me was anything but that. The sabzi was tasteless. The saving grace was Lime Soda, the only thing I found good. My bill was 1k for two people and that's pretty much high; I don't think you should spend that much amount at that place, it is not worth it.

When we first came to city back in 1997, this place was one of my fav, they had tasty foods; always liked their tomato soup, fried rice and thali. But when I recently had thali, I was sad. Frankly it was not good, very bland.

A good to see from outside, but not so good from inside. North Indian foods are overpriced. The environment is always noisy, mostly due to the kitchen environment. Felt terribly hot that too at night around 9 pm. Plates & other utensils were also not clean & had greasy oil marks. Not acceptable at such kind of place.

This place is always full and you have to wait in for a long for your food specially during the lunch time where it's very hard to get inside only. It's a very good place for the South Indian food.

It used to be a very organised chain of restaurants but i feel they have lost the class over the last 5 years . The service is not great in the restaurant and the dishes overpriced. Their self service section though is another story and rather the preferred option if you are in a hurry. I like their falooda, ice creams ( still one of the cheapest around) and veg fries rice.

Sukh sager is famous for vegetarians, i frequently have food here but the service and taste has come down. Today i feel i lke to share here but this never effective to their business because so many regular customers flow they have and they deserve it. Improve taste will see you soon.

i had heard so much about this place, but after tasting the food ...I was really disappointed. There was nothing good about this place from service to preperation.

I visited this place the 1st day I landed in bangalore because it was close by to the place I stayed. I opted for north indian thali which had a decent number of items and very tasty. I also tried their main course items and starters and they were really good as well. The service is quick. Very good place for vegetarians.

Visited this place with a friend of mine. Nice location and okay-ish ambience.

Have had idli and rava masala dosa. The masala was scanty. Food tastes average.

Filter coffee is good here.

Visited this place with my friend.
Nothing great about ambience.
Serves water in steel glass and saw some finger impressions on that, which I didn't liked.
Still we both ordered Rava Masala Dosa.
The quantity of Masala was very less.
Taste was okay okay types.
Service was still better.
They should work on hygiene part.
