Review Ambrosia - Bengaluru

Had been with my 10 team members for lunch. Credit to atmosphere & ambience, it was awesome. Few items were really presented well & tasty. Comfortable parking, clean washroom, tree shades will make you good. BUT -Few food ordered were not served hot. -Waiters need to be trained well to -Improve hospitality services for 10 pax. This is one of the place in wish list again in RR nagar area. Note that no Zomota gold/ eazydinner or any payment apps offer honored here.

One of the finest restaurants in Bangalore serving platters from Mexican, Continental to Italian and Mediterranean. They have open seating area with ambient lighting, music and a lot of greenary around.This restaurant is located at a very calm and peaceful location. This restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating with an elegant thatched roof. Very spacious parking is provided. They have a good collection of cocktails and mocktails. The starters were great. Each and every dish was great especially dimsum , pizza and dessert. The restaurant is perfect for dinner with family and friends.

Very good food and atmosphere. Slightly high on price range but worth the price. Had ordered Cauliflower popcorn, Mushroom dimsum,chef’s special pizza & thai curry with steamed rice. All were excellent 🫰🏻 They have kids play area also. One of the best veg restaurant in RR nagar. It was our long wish as we had thought of coming to this restaurant from past 3 years and finally it happened on our anniversary☺️

Ambience is the best. No second thought on it. Food was not completely up to my expectations. Service is really nice.

Went to this restaurant again. Excellent ambience. Lots of seating space including in a garden with tall trees. Plenty of car parking space. Lots of flower pots. Good quality food across Mexican, Italian and Thai cuisine. Tried bruschetta bites and they were awesome. 4 large pieces that can be shared by 2 persons. The Mexican special enchilada. It was very tasty too. Different from what we will find in Mexico or California. Good quality and quantity that can be shared by 2 persons. Also got Stone grilled rice. Found it a little spicy for my liking. The price at 500+ is very high for this item. I wouldn’t order this item next time. The blueberry cheesecake is superb. Worth trying. Overall great ambience and high quality food. The service was decent. The price is definitely on the expensive side for BLR restaurants.

I was in the dilemma when i was going but trust me guys its just awesome and not only the ambiance but the food was super delicious. Everything that we tried there was tasty and their staff is also very polite. Quick service. They even have kids place area and this restaurant serve vegetarian food only. They have Bar available and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Must go place i will definitely be visiting again😊

Very Nice Vegetarian Italian Restaurant, must try. They have sufficient parking space and quite a big place accomodating many people. This place also offers space for small get to gether of family celebration. We tried Pizza - Julia Roberts, Fantasy and Mellino Pasta - Barbaresca Starters - Bruschetta and Nachos Loaded Soup - Brocolli Almond Soup All the food items are delicious. I believe this restaurant still charge 7% Service charge on the total bill amount.

Less Quantity but with excellent quality 😋😋😋 also bit on the expensive side. Lot of options for vegetarian lovers, taste was awesome with nice ambience and pleasant music. If you are a spicy lover then only very little options as you cant expect spicy food from an Italian restaurant 😛. Overall nice place for a family day out with kids.

Food quality was good, quantity was bit less & bit spicy for Italian. Falafel rolls were cold and bit undercooked, which was disappointing. Ambience was great and good service. Place also has a spacious parking for both 2 and 4 wheelers. Team was also very accommodating for the toddler who was with us. Children play area was a very thoughtful addition to the place. Overall, a very good place for family dinners.

The food is great and the ambiance is super cool.!!! Service could be better. All the orders were served at a time instead of bringing one after the other. This reduced the enjoyment of food.

Restaurant has beautiful ambience which suits for all occasion and is kids friendly since it has a small play area. Food was amazing too. We tried whole range of delicacies.. from thier cigar spring roll to pizza and pasta to this curry all tasted amazing and presented beautifully. They have good desert section too. I would love to visit again and highly recommend other too.

Excellent pizza is available here. Lasagna was good, too. Washrooms are hygienic and clean. Kids play area and park available for kids to spend time. It is perfect for dinner with family and friends. There is plenty of seating with a good bar. They have a good collection of cocktails and mocktails. The starters were great. We had pizza and lasagna, which were good. It is possibly the best Italian food outlet in and around RR nagar. Excellent place for taking snaps with friends and family. Nice ambience. Only drawback is that their service is slow and had to wait a long time for our order to be delivered.

Went with friends for lunch. The ambience is very good. The food was tasty. Portion size is confusing; more for one less for two; the digital menu card is very dumb. You don't see all items and UI needs improvement. Service was OK. The first restaurant with Herbal Mosquito spray. They need to keep this hot on the table.

We were excited from when this restaurant was announced, because it's so close to our place. Finally went there today and had the best experience! The ambience is lovely, the food was great and the service was good too. Well, we were attended by two waiters where in one was well informed about the menu and suggested good options but the other was totally blank. We started with the soups - tried cream mushroom soup and tomato minestrone both were good. We tried Leek cheese sticks - good Alfredo pasta - good Primavera pasta - excellent The Ambrosia special pizza - was too good, we loved the thin crust Veg Lasagna- was too good too Bean Enchiladas- I personally dint like it, I don't like beans And now the icing on the cake� was; Blueberry cheese cake! Was lovely, the taste still lingers in the mouth. Overall we had one of the best dinner and a lovely evening! All the best Ambrosia � The best part is it's all Vegetarian!

Actually the name of the restaurant is very unique so tried googling it 'food of the gods' in love with the name very innovative ....

Ambience is out o the world. The staff and service is excellent. I loved the food as it was super tasty and priced very well. I highly recommend and is a place you must visit if you're a foodie. ���

We loved the food at Ambrosia. The Aglio-Olio is as good as what I've eaten in Italy. The Asparagus dish was simply out of this world - simple, yet delicious. The menu is vast - will have to go back multiple times to try out different things. The pizzas were good too, as was the mashed potato baked with cheese & garlic. Ambrosia is in a beautiful setting - the trees in a gravel bed looks great.

Ambience is great, in the midst of concrete jungle you have this amazing place with lots of greenery! Loved the authentic Italian cuisine! For someone who wants to relish the taste of Italian food, this is the place. Staff is courteous!All the best guys!

Beautiful ambience Excellent food Very good service Most of us in our family are vegeterians and the rest are vegans ! This place is Close by home (20-25 min drive away from nagarbhavi) It first looked like a resort with huge parking space and beautiful flowers welcoming us Once you move forward , you will see the tables set under a roof with sides open to a pebble area - trees decorated with lights and an English furniture set up. You will also be able to see the kitchen through a transparent glass facing this open area. We ordered for Broccoli almond soup, asparagus garlic soup , tomato soup which was all creamy and tasty. We ordered a couple of starters and Our favourites was the Jalapeno fritters stuffed with cheese !! So slurpy and chewey both Mushroom stuffing with cheese and Palak was something we have eaten in the past in other places (jalpaan)but it was well made For the main course we ordered penne, spaghetti, ravioli pastas, empanada, green Thai curry and rice which was all delicious and authentic To finish off with , the custard pudding and mango cheese cake took us staright to heaven!!

This place is awesome both in terms of food and ambience.. we visited yesterday for dinner and had one of the best dining experience here. The masala garlic bread is a must try. The Nawabi pizza is great..we did not like the mashed potato that much but guess what, the manager fixed us with a mango cheese cake (same cost as mashed potato) FOR FREE! Who does that!? Thank you very much!! We will definitely go back to Ambrosia!!

The ambience was brilliant. Nothing like it in Bangalore. The personal care and courteous staff was a big welcome. The menu was well curated and had an eclectic mix of Mediterranean, Swiss, Mexican, Thai etc. The presentation was beautiful. The dishes we ordered were yummy and the ingredient quality was very high. The flavours were fresh and not clouded in excess oil or spices. Highly recommended for young and families. For events and parties too.

Great ambience, food served was really good. They have ample parking space which delighted me very much. I would really recommend this for all who prefer Italian and Mexican cuisine.

Situated in between RNSIT and JSS colleges, Ambrosia is a wine and fine dine restaurant. They offer pure vegetarian Italian and Mexican cuisines. They also serve wine. I've never been to a fine dine Italian cuisine before but it was probably the best cuisine I've ever been to. The starters are absolutely amazing. Each starter comes with different sauces designed to activate your taste buds and make you order for more ! I visited this place with friends on new year's Eve (2020) and they were able to find us a table within five minutes without reservation. They have a lawn atmosphere as well as an air conditioned restaurant. The lawn seating is absolutely gorgeous and the dimly lit place is perfect to get your date. The staff members are extremely courteous and serve freshly cooked food in minutes after you order (at least that's how it was for us) Though the items on the menu are pretty pricey, you'll not regret paying the bill cause you'd have had the best night of your life ! Definitely recommend visiting this place with your family or with a date if you're looking for vegetarian fine dine with Italian cuisine

This is a place of shit where the management do not know what customer service is! There is no sync between the management and the waiters and they do not lend spoons to customers to eat within their premises. They treat customers as spoon thieves! So beware of their cheap customer service skills if you are coming from a good family. The manager there was hell bent on insulting the customer than serving him! Their menu is so difficult to read and the rates for their  food is so high and yet when customer is ready to pay for it, they think we take away their spoons without returning them! The basic etiquette of a hotel management is to provide plates and spoons unlimitedly to their customers. You lost a genuine customer today! I appeal everyone not to go to this  place and get insulted by their management!

I can never get over this place ! Such a soothing and calm ambiance. All the flowers everywhere make this place so lively.The interiors are also supar amazing. Even though it comes close to the main road this place is still silent and calm. I always rave about this place to my friends and also highly recommend for events and get together.

Ambrosia - a good veg restaurant for Italian food. Spacious and amazing ambience. Courteous staff. Food is so yummy. Quality is the best and creativity at the top. Definitely recommended for pure veg Italian dishes. Also wine is available of all kind. Loved it too.

The food was pretty average for the ratings they have and the price they charge. The service is quite bad and everything was dumped on our table at one go.

Nice place to spend evening with your special ones . Rates are on the higher side but the food is worth it .

Having disclaimed that, I should also state that this place never stops surprising me.<br/><br/>Everytime I try something new, I am blown away equally anew.<br/><br/>Be it the the Falafel Roll, Julia Roberts pizza, the Pasta Primavera or the chocolate mousse cake (top favourites) or anything new that I try, I am always left joyous.<br/><br/>The service is prompt and the people friendly, not to mention the fact that they know their stuff. You can partly see the kitchen area as well and the constant bustle inside gives a certain sense of satisfaction. It's partly this, and partly their vast (and unexplored menu) and the comfort I find in my regular orders that keep pulling me back here.

Beautiful ambience, best place for chill out, can spend some time, very peaceful place too, you can find veg Italian food over here, foods are good too, we have ordered buffet which costed per person 660₹ ,this buffet is only available during lunch time,from 12pm-3pm Monday to Thursday. This buffet is contained with starter to Dessert(pizza,rice,mock tails,veg starter, desserts ). <br/>The only bad thing is that staff are not so good, they won’t allow to click the pictures, not so friendly they are.

Over rated place. Prices are too high. The food doesn’t taste god. Staff is very rude. Ordered Tiramusi in dessert that didn’t taste good. The garlic bread was also get very hard.

Spacious spacious place with loads of greens and rocks around which is a very good ambience. I love the fact that they use farm fresh products in every meal which they claim to grow by themselves. I ordered a cheesy burger,onion rings and ravioli in pesto sauce. The food was average tasting but very hygienic and fresh.

What do you look for when you make an instant dinner plan? A good restaurant in the neighbourhood. And when it provides you good food, quiet ambience and hassle free parking, you have every reason to head out. Ambrosia is all about it. Food is not unique but doesn’t disappoint you. Staff is welcoming. Don’t judge the restaurant by the looks of its entry from main road. Beautiful parking lot and seating area, filled with trees giving an impression of a resort.

Ambrosia is no doubt a good restaurant with decent interiors and ambience. They have seating in interior and one outside where you get to sit beneath the trees.<br/><br/>Focusing on mainly Italian Cuisine, they do have good options in their menu ranging over the different types of Pizza's and Pasta's and much more. I visited this place during the lunch timing on weekday when it was least crowded. The good was delicious especially the Nawabi Pizza. The place will be bit costly on your pocket because it's a fine dining. Good place to be at with your friends and family. Try going over the weekend.

Headed to Ambrosia as I had heard a lot about it and wanted to eat Italian food. It’s pretty far from my place and took a while to reach there and hoped the place was worth the hype. <br/>Would say it was totally worth the travel. The place is very very peaceful and pleasant with lots of greenery from the parking lot to the dining area. <br/>We ordered peek & cheese champagne cigar roll, barbaresca pasta and for dessert we ordered burning volcano. <br/>The food was amazing! Even though it’s on the little expensive side it’s totally worth it.<br/>Would rate the food 5/5<br/>Ambience 5/5<br/>Service 5/5<br/>Would totally recommend this place for Italian lovers and for dates.

Lovely ambience , calmness prevails throughout. Amazing food . Loved every bit of d place , service, food . We ordered for broccoli almond soup , broccoli mushroom soup which wr amazing. Next we went in for garlic bread, jalapeno cheese sticks, Ceaser salad, watermelon feta cheese salad , Mexican tangy salad all of which just activated d taste buds . Main course was an alio olio pasta which has been d best I ve had so far. To end with a dessert we had a mango cheesecake which was to die for (my toddler enjoyed it thoroughly) 😘

One of the most beautiful restaurants. Such a beautiful setting of the place, peaceful ambience to have some great lunch/ dinner. Anyone will fall in love with the place at the first sight. The staff is extremely sweet and courteous. We tried the mighty taco, garlic cheese bread for starters and they were great. My favourite was the pasta - Paprika Italiano which was absolutely delicious. For dessert we opted for a tiramisu which was a brilliant ending to out lovely meal. Looking forward to going back soon.

A few days back we visited this place. The ambience is good and have quite a choice of seatings. We preferred sitting in the open than inside and that experience is something which is not available nowadays. <br/><br/>The food was very good and quantity was sufficient. Drinks ordered were good as well. The price is on the expensive side but quantity is something which does justice. The service was bit slow. We had asked for high chair which we never got. That was one think which was a downer.

Horrible, overrated. Bad quantity and over priced . Oder Thai curry and bham you’d be surprised to know that it doesn’t come with rice ridiculous people . So drink thai curry like soup .

Ordered home delivery from ambrosia..as per the menu salad shud have feta cheese but there were cubes of normal processed cheese..food is highly overpriced..bad experience.

Food was amazing.. We tried Julia Roberts pizza.. cheese garlic mashed potatoes... Ravioli in Alfredo... Alfredo was excellent.. pizza was very spicy... outdoor seating is excellent.. with so much greenery around.. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because when we called and enquired if we can have a bachelorette party. They agreed but We were not told we can't click pictures.. we can't move around place... it was extremely disappointing... Even selfies were not allowed...

Ambrosia is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the city. The place is eye candy set amidst landscaped greenery, everything is maintained really well, it has outside and inside seating options, and the staff are very friendly. No matter what you order off the menu- the food and drinks are just great and the portions have great value for money compared to most central Bangalore vegetarian cafes. This is a place I would recommend be it to couples for a night out together or a family; its a classy restaurant. This is a place on my repeat list.

Me,my friends along with kids went to ambrosia . We completely enjoyed the food as well as the ambiance. We ordered some mocktails, cheesy nachos,French fries, pasta and Julia Robert pizza ....Yes "juliarobert" pizza, the name itself convinced us to go for it :D The food was really yumm ! The desert was bit disappointing, we ordered one Choco volcano, the brownie tasted like a cake and the nuts were slightly burnt.<br/><br/>But overall very satisfied, will definitely go back again !

I have been here for couple of times, this place is great for vegetarians. Great ambience and delicious food. Once I took my in-laws who were bit hesitant to visit since they don't serve Indian dishes but they liked the food so much that my father-in-law repeated the order. Can't expect anything more.

Firstly it is mainly known for its Italian cuisines... Cream of mushroom soup is a must try... The texture of soup was perfect n creamy.... The above said mocktails were asusual good.... Firestick mozzarella was the best among all.... N perfect for cheese lovers... The Gambaza pasta was really yum n it is basically Ravioli stuffed with cottage cheese n asparagus n cooked with creamy white sauce n mushrooms...Nirvana thin crust pizza tasted good too but i felt it was a lil bland... Bruschetta bites was jus average coz i dont like raw tomatoes in my food... N cream caramel was a proper end to our meal which had mild flavours ...Ambience is the best i feel ....service was quick n good aswell.... It is lil bit overpriced i feel... But taste of food compensates over it... Overall a big thumbsup to ths plce.. N a must try 👍

Had a great time with friends. The place is very pretty with many flowers and trees. Food was great, although pricey. We had the Julia Roberts pizza and the Ambrosia special pizza. Both were great. Mexican and Thai food was also very tasty. Would recommend for a family outing or date

We ordered antipasti (crispy paneer pillows) , pizzasosia special and Julia Roberts), Pasta( Barbaresca). The quantity and quality of the food was good! A must try place 😋<br/>Just a tip, wear shoes if sitting outside during evenings, there are a few mosquitoes. Other than that it was a great experience

The ambience of the place is just wow. Tried the risotto, pizza and a pesto sandwich. Excellent. Courteous staff. All in all a great place for Italian food.

It's closed for it's regular customers today as they are hosting an exclusive party for some company employees. After travelling in traffic for 45 mins, I was told to go to back gate, when I go to back gate, I'm asked if I belong to that company and when i said "No", I get to hear that they are closed for customers today. Don't you care for your regular customers for one day business ? Can't you at least mention in zomato as closed today ? Does Zomato not care for such false information on their app???????

An excellent place to try out Italian and Mexican cuisine, good ambience and service. Price is reasonable and you can try it out if you are tired of the - as usual roti curry & biryani. Enjoy thinpandi's.

I had been to this place with my family a month back or so. Its a warm and cozy place with great outdoor seating. <br/>I never expected to find such a wonderful dining experience in this part of the city. Its nearby my place and no traffic to reach there. That adds to the charm!<br/>Coming to food, we tried Italian cuisine - tomato soup with croutons,  roasted fungi/mushrooms with garlic, some starter with avocado, a thin crust pizza, and pasta. Everything was just amazing. Except a Chianti I have never had a good Italian food experience in Bangalore. This was an exception. <br/><br/>Cost wise this is decent place given the food, ambience, and courteous service.<br/>Definitely a must visit place for Italian food in South Bangalore.

Been on my bookmark list from a long time.<br/>When you enter the property, they have ample parking space. The exterior is beautifully done with lots of plants.You can click a lot of pictures 😉<br/><br/>Coming to the food part ordered a lot of stuff , all were tasty 😋 but the Risotto was amazing. The best i had in Bangalore.<br/><br/>The service was also prompt and good.<br/>Would definitely come back and recommend also.<br/>

Ambience is great. A wonderful place to hangout with family and friends. We ordered stuffed murshroom and primavera pasta both tasted very good. A must visit place if youre in and around rr nagara.

Awesome Ambience! Yes, we did not expect it to be such a wonderful place amidst the surroundings. The open air garden with dim light gave a romantic touch to the place.<br/>We were looking for Jain food and guess what, they did offer us quite a variety. The staff was at their courteous best, special thanks to Mr.Rafiq and his colleague who even helped us with modifying a Mexican rice dish to suit to out taste. Kudos to the chef, it was well prepared. The Nachos with beans was finger licking especially with the lip smacking salsa sauce. All in all, a wonderful place to be visited again.

Went here on a Sunday late evening after being highly disappointed with another newly opened lounge in the area. The entire experience was excellent. Right from the parking space, to the open air ambience! Loved it.<br/><br/>Coming to the food, we ordered the following:<br/><br/>1. Pomodoro Soup - It was good. Not the best, but definitely not bad at all.<br/><br/>2. Cream of Almond and Broccoli - Very good! A must try at the place.<br/><br/>3. Spinach Caponata Bruschetta - The only disappointing dish in our order!<br/><br/>4. Aglio Olio Pepperoncini - This was one of the highlights of the dinner. It was slightly burnt and that's what enhanced the flavour further. A must try.<br/><br/>5. Gennarino Risotto - Saved the best for the last. This was the best dish of our meal. We would visit this place again just for this dish. Do do try this! You are not going to be disappointed.<br/><br/>All in all a great evening to spend here. Even lunch here will be as beautiful due to the outdoor setup!<br/><br/>

Beautiful Ambience, Polite Service with some good food. This place is relaxed in its own. Spread on a huge property. Took family here last week, they loved it.<br/><br/>If you are into European Cuisine. Pizzas, Pastas, Burgers etc, this can be a good option. Family liked it.

Excellent ambience, but service was below par, could have been better the way the interact with customers. If they make any request. Food was good I enjoyed the quality of food. But service standards can be better

Pleasant outdoor seating in a peaceful property. However for the pricing the service was indifferent and the food was very average. The falafel rolls seemed scanty and the paper was rolled inside the bread. The Mexican rice we ordered was gloopy and quite tasteless and needed some fresh salsa and vegetables, some of the typical Mex add-ons to elevate it. Thai curry was good.

Have been going to this restaurant for a few times now. At first, we loved it for the wide range of foods, from Italian to Thai. However, my latest experience was nothing like before.<br/><br/>Service - 2/5<br/>It appears to be understaffed, due to which we had to face long delays for everything from getting a table to ordering our food.<br/>For something as simple as ketchup, we had to wait inordinately for almost 15 minutes before someone attended to us.<br/><br/>Food - 3/5<br/>We had ordered the Cheese Corn Balls, and Nachos for starters. The Cheese Corn Balls were doughy, and the quantity of Nachos was questionable, given the price charged. (more about price in the Value for Money section below)<br/>For mains, we had Ravioli and Thai Red Curry. The dishes themselves were average, but what astounded me was their attitude.<br/>When I requested for bread alongside my pasta (I communicated that I was willing to pay) and all he says is, "If you order 4 pieces (1 portion) I can get that, not 1 only"!<br/><br/>Value for Money - 1/5<br/>To put it in context, for the Thai Red Curry dish we were charged 320 just for the curry, and 170 for a small bowl of rice!<br/>For their average food, and below-par service, it's extremely expensive and not at all worth in my opinion.<br/>Think twice before you choose to dine here.<br/><br/>

A hidden secret in RR Nagar/Mysore Road - With an ambience that is typical for ooty or other hill resorts, the place has some of the best Italian and Mexican food.

One of the worst services we have experienced in any restaurant we have ever been to. Pasta was served under 5 min from the time of order. It was no where close to anything called 'Fresh'. It was merely microwaved and served. No idea when was it made. Totally disappointed ! We felt like eating food in a fast food centre. Neither water or tissues were given to us till we asked for it multiple times. Totally not worth paying so much money , especially when you choose this place for a special evening .

Ordered the rustic pizza and the paneer pizza along with cottage cheese pest sandwich. Both the pizza were good and the wheat crust was nice but I would have preferred if they could have left it for one more minute in the oven to get a little more crispy. The rustic pizza with spinach was nice and had the right amount of cheese to not make it offensive. Paneer pizza could have done a little more of the paneer in it .<br/>The pesto sandwich was okay and somehow it had a lot of cheese grated on it which wasn't expected. Anyhow not bad but not great either.<br/>Would definitely do a walkin someday soon to try out their other stuff

Great food that’s consistently high quality, and there’s a great variety, too. The outdoor seating is very pleasant, though rather rife with mosquitoes in the evening. Highly recommend.

The food is delicious! And the ambience is beautiful. The place has a long walkway to enter and the size of the place will always take a newcomer by surprise. The waiter messed up our order but they were kind enough to provide complimentary dish. The service is quite fast. I'd recommend this place to anyone on the lookout for new eateries in RRNAGAR.

It's a beautiful place! A couple can enjoy a romantic open air dinner here. It's a vegetarian restaurant. It attracts mainly family people who live around since it's a residential area. We ordered risotto and croquettes. The food taste and quantity was good for the price though it still falls under the expensive category. We ordered a particular variety of croquette and were billed for another. The concerned person was kind enough to deduct the difference amount and provide a complimentary dessert. Giving 4 because it serves only veg else it's a 5/5 place!
