Review Sri Udupi Park - Bengaluru

Utkarsh Ranjan
The best place to have fresh running cheap food. You will see udupi generally everywhere around bangalore. But this one I felt is very better at affordable price and taste. There is variety of food but only Veg, not limited to food you get drinks shakes chai coffee etc... Just fit for your pocket for a healthy & fresh food.
Bharath Ghattamaneni
Visited the Udupi Park for the first time. The staff is very welcoming and suggested the specials like Mysore Masala Dosa, Mysore Buns, Bonda, Neer Dosa and Chow chow bath. I ordered Mysore Masala Dosa and Neer Dosa. Masala Dosa was crispy and tasty. Neer Dosa was super delicious for a first timer, super tender and tasted amazing with the jaggery and coconut side dish. Filter coffee is a must try too!
Kaajal Dasgupta
This is a popular place for authentic south indian dishes . People start having their morning tea /coffee since 6.30 am and it remains busy till night. Self service options are good and preparation is fast. They have another dining section where you get meals.
Ravi Kiran
Quick and best service with quality food.
Nishad Aboobacker
Good food and very limited seating place which is very difficult to have meals . Having breakfast by standing is fine, but lunch and meals by standing sucks
Satya Prakash
It's a nice place to visit for breakfast, snacks and yeah meals and dinners too. You will get best Veg varieties here and the taste is also great. The service is average (better than few places in Bangalore) but the taste was awesome. You will really enjoy the cuisine here because it's delicious.😋😋😋

This place located near to old airport road, opposite to the road in front manipal hospital. it's vegetarian self service place. Ambience is normal just like self service place Food was good Service was quick Not so Expensive menu Overall my meal experience was good actually....
Gautham Hegde
I had a great experience at your restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. I would definitely recommend your restaurant to friends and family. Thanks for a great experience!

This is typical Bengaluru joint for various food item. I love this place because of lot of options, reasonable price, tasty food and very good service. I ordered north indian thali and I loved it. It was tasty and fulfilling and only Rs. 120. I will definitely go back again and would highly recommend this place.
Eswar Muthukumaran
Took my first bite there 14 years ago. Till this day, their taste remains the same. I would recommend Udupi park for those who want to experience the cuisine of Karnataka (my favourite).
Sarmista Barik
We dined in the ac hall. Good restaurant. Ambiance is also good. Vegetarian restaurante.
Oshin Muddappa
Quite a good place for breakfast. Usually the manipal hospital crowd come here. Dosa was very crispy and tasty. Fruit juices are available. Chats are available in the evening and Small dessert counter as you enter the restaurant. Self service restaurant and cleaning of tables are quick. Parking available for two wheelers. 4 wheeler parking little tricky.
Aarti Mansukhani
One of the best places around the Manipal hospital and Old Airport road to grab a bite on the go. If crowded service is slow. Food available at odd hours like late lunch or breakfast. Price is high.
Aishath Shuzana
It is a nice place to go have a meal if you are looking for a cheap, clean and open airy place. The food was good and the time for service was very fast

This is one of the places which I have visited almost everyday at-least for two years in a row ! Pros: 1. Super friendly staff 2. Amazing food 3. Both service hall as well as self service hall is available 4 . Variety of options 5. Sweets are a plus point Cons: A little expensive than the other darshinis around. Their masala dal kichadi and Palak kichadis are my absolute favourites! Also try their roti-curry, rice items , mangalore buns, masala dose , poori Bhaji , pav bhaji , idli (sambar dipped) They also serve great South Indian filter coffee!
Jagadeesh Sivasankaran
Nice place for a quick breakfast. Loved their rava idli
Solo Musaafir
I normally go there for coffee, and I ask for sugar less always and they smilingly serve me same. It can’t get better than this. Tried Ragi Dosa and Wheat dosa too with Watermelon juice and nice place to come in Evening.
Ankita Sharma Saini
Waste one hour time as after gvng order two times they cancelled at the last minute making wait for half an hour each time... Pathetic service...
Food And Bengaluru Kruthi
This is a good place to have economical food which tastes good.

They have good place to sit and it is self service.
I had ordered

Chole bature: One amazing dish here. The bature is so huge and the chole is amazing. Definitely you can have it here. The quantity is too huge.

Roti curry: it wasn't that bad, the cury were good enough.

Overall a good place to have some decent food.

Food- 4.1/5
Samhita Sarkar
It was well organized and clean. It is famous for South Indian dishes. Benificial for office going people and vegetarian should definitely give a try.
Food And Bengaluru Kruthi
We had ordered chole nature and roti curry. The roti curry was just okeyish. Even though curries were yummy, the roti was just up to the mark. Chole barute was amazing. The size of the bature and the taste of it was just too good and to add more to its yummines, was the chole. Loved the place and it is one of the budget places to eat yummy food. Sri Udupi Park
Pooja Kuberagowda
Udupi Park is a brand, Old airport road branch is spoiling its name. Today i had ordered Mughlai biryani which was a big disaster. Tasteless worst biryani ever i had in any of the resturants.
Rajat Goyal
This being the most crowded place during lunch time on all week days is good in terms of taste but quality and health factor is lacking. Veg noodles which is good in taste but is so full of oil always. Their chole bhature are best. Also few south Indian cuisines are also good like rava dosa and idly vada sambhar. They need to work more on the hygiene part.
Sayan Biswas
Had rava masala dosa and tea. The masala could have been better. The crust was apt with proper blend of masala. Overall liked the food. The service was moderate so is the cleanliness
Nikita Jhunjhunwala
This is a very simple dining place with staff who are happy to serve people. Their North Indian is specifically good. My all time favourite is Stuffed Kulcha with any Masala Veggie gravy. They make them all tasty! If you order lime soda, one is enough for two people because they serve one whole bottle of soda for one serving! This place also wouldn’t burn a hole in your pocket. I wouldn’t recommend their Choupsey though as it was bland and filled with veggies, pineapple and cashews. Some things just don’t go with everything. Otherwise good food and good sevice!
Rosie
Economical and hygenic and great taste. Love the food from here. Authentic south indian taste.Always fresh items served. The breakfast offer of 1 masala dosa, 1 idly and 1 vada for 49 rs is the best breakfast option you can find...
Joe Mathew
This Sri Udupi Park is just beside the Leela Palace hotel. I had ordered poori along with filter coffee. You can never go wrong with food here.. A plate of poori comes with 3 pooris, bhaji and fresh coconut chutney. The filter coffee again is absolutely authentic. Overall great place to grab some good breakfast.
BoomBaba 's Best Food Channel Ever
It's too good. Everything in the menu crib their breakfast to the Chinese cuisine and the rotis. If you love the blank Sagar kind of good food indulgence, this is the place. 100 stars
Jas Pace
This restaurant is mostly crowded due to too many commercial spaces around. Wood be good if hygiene is not compromised. The adjoining and close by air around is polluted and dusty and there is garbage dumping some distance away on the same road
dine in experience is very poor considering business class patrons and excessively priced items ...untidy people from nearby petrol bunk fill water bottles . when objected and told the hotel staff, they refused to budge from seat or restrict abuse of drinking water by those visitors who use their numerous personal plastic bottles ( would not like to comment on the hygiene part

on Feb 16 , zomato online order made and after successful payment , the restaurant declines the order without satisfactory explanation and way forward , stating items not available . Hence poor ordering experience. Not only that, time and again the restaurant closes their online ordering
and resumes after 10-15 minutes or indefinite time length during normal hours
Kiran Sundar
Normal fast food place. Simple and hygienic.tried idly, vada, masala dosa here. Decent outlet for a quick morning breakfast bite. Would suggest this place for a quick morning grab
Pradeep S
Good food specially we loved manglore buns and mushroom sukka baby corn golden fry is very nice overall it's good place worth visit .not forget their filte coffee.
Shivani Rawat
This is our go to place now for quick snack bites since this is nearby our office. Food is good taste wise though more needs to be done on quality and hygiene part. Choose bhaturas, noodles and south Indian cuisines are best in taste and also pocket friendly at the same time. You'll find this place crowded most of the time though to compensate which they have provided separate fine dining place as well.
Abhishek Pandey
Nyc preparation of masala dosa and nyc packing too i like it and taste was great too please make sambar some more tasty and we all will love it
RAKESH NERKAR
One of the few places in the area where you don't have to burn holes in your pockets to eat food.

Ambience:
A decently big outlet with 7-8 seating table and 4-5 tables where you can stand and eat. 4-5 tables are in front of the shop where you can stand and eat. It has their own Paan shop, Tea Counter, Juice Counter and Sweet Counter.

Food:
Menu ranges from South Indian to North Indian, from Chinese to Snacks, Juices and Ice Cream to Hot beverages.

We ordered:
1. Gobi Manchurian: Good in taste and quantity.

2. Schezwan Fried Rice: A bit oily but good in taste.

3. Rava Madala Dosa: Okish. Had very less salt.

4. Mosambi Juice: Good

5. Fresh Lime Soda: Really good, in quantity as well considering 35 bucks.

6. Tea was amazing.

Service:
It's a self service shop. But it's pretty quick.

Overall,
Food: 3/5
Ambience: 3/5
Service: 4/5
Value for money: 5/5
Visit date- 26/9/2018
While coming back from Bangalore palace, we stopped on this joint to grab some tea in evening. This place is near to Leela palace.

Food- we ordered
Mirchi bhajji- 2/5
Being spicy lover, I expected mirchi bhajji to be atleast little spicy but it turned out to be bland and cold. It was served with a chutney which was again very bland in taste.

Tea- 3/5
The only good thing was the tea. It was atleast decent

Ambiance- 3/5
There are no sittings so everyone has to stand and eat and that's totally fine.. place is properly lit, clean and hygienic. You get everything from a chat to South India delicacies at this place.

It's a good place to go for small hungers.
Sūrjīt
Sri Udupi Park is Southern fast food at its best. They serve absolute quality coupled with adequate quantity at a reasonable price and that combination is something not found so often a city like Bangalore. I've heard a lot about this place but never tried up until few days back and got Paneer Masala Dosa and tea delivered to me. Usually, you get dosas with little stuffing at most of the joint but I was happy to see the whole Dosa wrapped with Paneer masala as that's how its supposed to be. My taste buds enjoyed the flavours and wallet didn't mind at all.

Although not a very big hub, yet they have a big menu to choose from and be it Southern or Northern, the kitchen staff nail it most of the time. To add, few places are around that deliver hot beverages like coffee & tea etc and SUP is one of those few and I love that about a restaurant and it shows that they are willing to do more in terms of customer satisfaction.

All in all, a good experience with this fine place which I look forward to get more from in the future.

I think that the service is better around the surrounding hotels and i don't find anything special about the food. would be looking at other options.
Shalaka
I came here for lunch after visiting the Shivom temple, the restaurant is decent with enough seating capacity and the ambience is okay. They do have quick counters below but have a family room on the top floor. I wanted to try south Indian Thalia but since the options were less I opted for North Indian mini thali, the thali was pretty good and filling enough, they begin with serving soup, then thali and end with ice cream. It kept me full for a longer time as I had plans to discover the city. If you are looking for a change then I would recommend the North Indian thali here.
Shashank
Go to the service hall , food is good , I say the best Udupi in the surrounding areas. Don’t forget to try veg biriyani , Pongal or veg patiala, best place for veggies.
Karishma Shah
Extremely rude manager, we had ordered sweets and he refused to give us the bill. So we had asked him the prices of each sweets and he shouted at us and refused to answer us.
Rajeshwari
Lovely breakfast today. Ordered the coffee, puri, kesari bath, and fruit salad with jelly and vanilla ice cream. The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. I highly recommend it.
Uvais M.H
Food is the best place to have here especially for breakfast., idly and vada it's good but samabar is not that much good.. But chattni is really great in taste and coffee is much better comparing to other branch it's an best
Tanvi Kini
The upside of this place as compared to the Udupi Park in Indiranagar is that it has a bigger, cleaner and nicer a/c service area.
One of the best dishes I've ever tried over here is the butter mushroom masala. The dal khichdi is good but has nothing on the one you get in Indiranagar. Still a pretty lovely, pocket friendly place to hang out and also super accessible for anyone living in Kodihalli.
Astha Gupta
Nice budget friendly place for breakfast.idli vada was nice..paper dosa was too oily..pineapple juice has soo kuch sugar in it..overall gud soutn indian breakfast!

Food is alright. The place is clean. I found the service a bit slow!! But its still one of my favourite place for South Indian breakfast!! A meal for two will come within 500 rs

Ambiance: 3
Food: 2.5
Service: 1

Ambiance: Spacious enough for large group as well as couples. It's a typical family restaurant.

Food: Food is not that great. I had gone to this place twice but both the times I was disappointed. They should actually concentrate more on food. Food prices are soo high for this kind food.

Service: I have seen the best of worst staffs here, they should be given a chance in Indian politics and they might win each election. They should really concentrate on work and customer relationships rather than standing in a group and passing comments and show casing their political side.

NOTE: Kind advice to staffs- Concentrate more on food/services and LESS ON POLITICS.
Chaitanya Rapole
Bad service and long waiting time. Ordered standard thalis and were not served all items. Forgot to give pulav in North Indian thali and no papad, pickle, rice, cued served in South Indian deluxe meals. Have to ask for these and got again only few.
Harsha Kn
Visited their service hall for lunch... the staff their was pathetic... no response... what ever we were asking they were telling it will take time... finally we had South Indian meals n veg Hyderabadbadi biriyani... food was good
Food 4/5
Ambience 4/5
Service 1/5
The staff first needs to learn what is service n how to behave with customers...
Garima Singh
Came here for a quick morning breakfast with my family. We had ordered paper masala dosa and idli and filter coffee. I must say you guys really need to work on your dosas. Dosas were so hard some other version of crispness and too oily. Idli was okay. Only thing I liked was the tea and coffee we had ordered.
Ishan Parashar
Food is decent as per prices. Average seating area. Delivery is decent as well. I have eaten or ordered multiple times from here considering price and proximity to my home. Decent experience always. Only problem is they tend to forget instructions like allergic to certain ingredient or request for less spicy sometimes which makes the experience unsavory.
Shashank Hegde K
I am a regular customer here for almost 3 years. If you are a South Indian you would very well like the breakfast and lunch items.

But the prices have increased with gst coming into picture.the bill which they provide never highlight gst though
Prashanth Kumar
Very bad experience the south Indian break fast was not much there counter boys looks like very serious to us nn
they have service section also is there restaurant is looks good service is poor totally I m disappointed
Jeevanayagi Ganapathy
Was there for evening quick bite. Their Mangalore Buns and filter coffee is really good. The masala dosa and lassi just seemed normal. It was pretty crowded in the evening and not much of a seating arrangement. But you still a decent place for a quick bite.
Madhu Sudhan
Just another Darshini styled hotel but i really liked the Mangalore Buns - always a delight to have during those early morning ventures. Although i'm a little confused on whether this is the actual restaurant we visited or another close by. I'm referring to the restaurant close to the QAI Institute / above some Maruti Showroom on Old Airport Road - was here only for a 2 day Corporate Training. This looks like a very generic name !
Nikhil Lagali
SRI UDUPI PARK is opposite to Kemp fort mall Not up to the mark ..compare to other Udupi Darshini in Bangalore and Also pricing is very High..
Pramod
Delicious food at Udupi Park behind Leela palace despite the number of bad reviews for the place. I went for poori, idly and vada. Poori was soft and well done, vada was crispy and idly was super soft. Overall, seems like a good place for breakfast.
Aditya Mohan
You don't need to give any review for udupi park if you are living in Bangalore for more than 6 months. You would have tasted their food atleast once. They are pretty good at serving nice south indian dishes. Even their North Indian dishes are tasty, but you will feel the south indian taste in those dishes.
Their price is also affordable.
In short, you will not regret if you went there.
Ayasha Banka
I have been to this place, it's the only good restaurant in that area. It is near my brother's flat, so I went there for breakfast and lunch many times. They have recently opened budget hotel nearby where they are providing the same food, same menu, just also with sitting facility. Generally it is self service place, And you won't get seat to sit.
About food, they serve really good food. They have a wide variety of juices and mostly south indian. But north indian food is also nice. Starters are also good. Various types of dosa and idli are available. I liked their rava dosa.
Akash Omer
Udupi park restaurant : budget hotel. We ordered tomato soup and manchow soup. Starters were good mushroom pepper dry and kaju masala was good. Main course : dal tadka and paneer butter masala was good. Staff is good. Fast service
Bhava Lohit
This restaurant is located in the Domlur-HAL main road, very close to Kemp Fort. I had been here with 2 of my colleagues this Wednesday and we ordered 2 glass of Chiku/Sapota Milk Shake and a plate of roti sabji. Restaurant is maintained well and Chiku Milk Shake was as usual the best. However, roti and sabji were not up to the mark. We could not finish sabji as it was not that good when compared to other restaurants I'd before. Roti was not roasted properly so here's the reason for 3.5 star rating. Will be commuting the same route everyday for work so will definitely try other recipes of them soon. Thank you.
Ramya Bhagirathi
It's placed in the right location in kodihalli. Not many good restaurants around and this one has been my go-to place for the last 4 years! (I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this yet!) Yummy food at reasonable rates. Must try are the dosas, and their north Indian thali. It consisted of a tomato soup, papad, two tandoori rotis, a bowl each of rajma, chole, dal, fried rice and curd rice. For dessert there was motichoor laddoo and fruit salad with icecream. Fulfilling and quite authentic.
Sunny
These guys don't know the difference between dosa and utappam... I ordered dosa and got an utappam. When asked about it, the manager was saying, both are the same.... I told him, nowhere did I see anyone calling it a dosa... He said it actually is a dosa and the whole world was calling it with a wrong name... Just then did I realize Udupi chain is so dumb that they don't have the basic knowledge, even a 5 year kid would have....
Chirag Ranawat
Very good food variety and quality.
Reasonable price and quick service.
Has a small sweet counter as well for those with a sweet tooth.
Not a lot of place to sit and eat so parcelling the food is a better option.
Vismika
Udupi, one of the best vegetarian chains in bangalore. Almost all the menus are extremely tasty and flavorful. Be it south indian or north indian or chinese, taste will be awesome and you will visit again to try something new.

Best ones are idli, dosas, butter naans, schezwan rice/noodles. Difficult to get a spot to sit but its a quick bite place. Budget friendly and tasty.
Natasha D' Silva
Sri Udupi Park is a vegetarian restaurant serving good Indian food. We went to this place for coffee and snacks. It is located behind The Leela Palace.
Facing the road and open on two sides, there are places to sit and stand and eat as well. There's also a small counter selling sweets.
I ordered coffee, cheese masala dosa and Mangalore buns.
It's a self service joint and I receieved all this immediately. The filter coffee was brilliant. The Mangalore buns were nice and sweet, I especially loved the bhaji given along with it. The masala dosa bursting with cheese, masala sprinkled over and the potato bhaji right in between was also delicious.
Excellent place for quick, cheap and delicious eats.
Last 2 weeks have been 'back to old charm' bangalore. Lazy relaxing weekends. Difficult to leave bed week days. So this weekend I thought to give my kitchen a breakfast break and landed in this place. We ordered for special pongal, vada sambar n khara bath. This is one of the best khara bath we had. It was so smooth n creamy , very unusual. We went for a second helping. Otherwise its a medium sized south Indian joint. You are lucky if U can manage the seats overlooking the street.
Lohith Ramachandra
One of the new darshinis that I like is this chain only for one dish and for only one reason - I Like their masala dosa since they add the typical chatni podi or in local lingua gun powder inside the dosa before adding the potato palya. Typically all restaurants add the red garlic and onion paste which I don't fancy a lot. Apart from that the mangalore buns are also good here. The one thing which isn't so good is the sweet sambar the which they pour on the idli.
Nice place for a quick bite and nothing fancy.

Rating - 3.5/5
Budget - 200 for 2
Abhijit Kulkarni
I come here every Sunday and take away breakfast for my family. The taste and flavour is something we are now used to. As with all good South Indian breakfast places this restaurant is pretty good at the local fare, the idlis, vadas, dosas, poori etc. gets really busy on weekends but there is no dip in quality. Try the Mangalore Buns, another of my favourite. I'm pretty sure the lunch here would be great too, haven't tried yet.
Dr Raheela
Been there many times..... pretty hygienic, everything is priced reasonably , tasty food. The portion size is too good... quick service too....,........
Shobhit Shankar
Good food especially d paneer butter masala, and d fliter coffee was amazing...
If we go wid d south indian food den dosa, medu vada r really tastey...
Darshana Unnikrishnan
The food is tasty and really pocket friendly. Cleanliness was taken care off. The staff is a bit less responsive. But otherwise the whole experience was good.
Bibhuti Bhusan Behera
Yah...it's a nice place 2 eat. They keep their place clean, place is hygienic But as you know all the comfortable things ends with price....ha ha ha...It's menu card is all about money money & money but the food they'll give u is delicious...
